I originally reached out to Dawn to learn more about her Micro Wedding packages since we were in the midst of the pandemic. But after a “quick intro call” with Dawn, that turned into an hour (we are both talkers) and going with her to check out the Wyndham Grand (during the chaos of Super Bowl Weekend, might I add.) I realized I had found my partner in crime AKA wedding planner and the perfect venue!
Our small 30 person wedding quickly turned into a 75-guest affair (while still being COVID safe, thanks to Dawn and the Wyndham.) I am a complete type-A, perfectionist and I met my match with Dawn. I came to her with a full vision (pictures included) and Dawn understood the vibe and aesthetic I was going for and added her own sprinkle of original out-of-the-box ideas, that blew our guest away while still maintaining the modern, sleekness of my original vision.
Dawn met with us multiple times prior to our wedding: Venue selection, attended one of Epic’s styled shoot, food tasting and design session and was always available via text, call or email to answer any of my random questions or to chat about adding another new detail to the event. Dawn also provided a checklist that kept me on track and my bridal anxiety in check.
The night before my wedding I went to bed without a worry, knowing everything was out of my hands and Dawn had everything under control, it was the best I’d slept in months! Dawn coordinated with all the vendors: The Wyndham, floral, hair/make-up and DJ. All I had to do was show up… And let me tell you her vendors are the BEST! I am still getting compliments, two months post-wedding on the music and food at my wedding and I still go to Christina at Contour Salon and Studio for my monthly facial!
Our wedding ceremony was a Jewish Ceremony and I appreciate Dawn taking the time to learn about our traditions and accommodating our Rabbi, so every part of our ceremony was in accordance with Jewish law. She found the picture-perfect spot for us to sign the Ketubah in the Wyndham as well as prepared the Yarmulkas, Kiddish Cup and Light Bulb for my Husband to smash during our ceremony.
The day of my wedding, I hardly saw Dawn because her and her team of four coordinators were working so hard on making my day perfect! The most special part of my day was our room reveal… Seeing our reception room for the first time! I am detail obsessed, so walking into my reception room with my husband before any other guests was the MOST AMAZING experience, I saw my vision come to life before anyone else and the room blew my new hubby away! He finally saw all of Dawn and I’s work come to life.
Like any wedding, the day did not go on without hitches, my Rabbi lost our vows and my guests took longer than expected to sit before the ceremony but Dawn smoothed everything out as quickly as possible and her coordinators made sure I was happy, comfortable, and as low stressed as possible.
Looking through the pictures, which I just received. I wish I could live the day all over again, it was the most EPIC wedding and that is all thanks to Dawn and her dedication to me as a bride! -

Dawn, Anna Rose, and crew from Epic Events made our dream wedding come true. Up front we had a standard traditional idea for beach themed wedding, but it did not really match us. When my now wife came up with the idea that united us and represented us for a gamer themed wedding, Anna Rosetruly embraced the concepts and ideas we envisioned and made them come to life.
Upon first in person visit at their staging warehouse, Anna took in our ideas and automatically started to come up with brilliant ideas for not only the theme, but also the approach to the theme. I knew we were in good hands. Given the fact that Epic Events was managing multi weddings at the time, we were truly blessed by the fact that we dodged hurricane Helene while many other brides were scrambling to find a venue and Epic Events still managed to make their dreams come true as well. We also really got to know Dawn and her partner upon the second in person visit.
Their focus is on the customer and their vision. They all work very hard behind the scenes so we would not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. Unlike my bride, my only worry was memorizing vows and a toast speech.
From the wedding ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and the epic reception we had. We saw our fantasy and vision unfold before our eyes. It was magical, fun, and epic! I was not envisioning my family and my partners family having such a blast.
The fact that most of the attendants said it was the most fun wedding they ever attends speaks more words than I can portray in this review. If you want to have a blast, magical moment (wedding or any other type of event) and not have to worry about the logistics, I highly recommend Epic Events! -

Dawn with epic events is the ultimate master at what she does! We hired her for full service top to bottom for our wedding in October. Our wedding was beyond anything I ever imagined! She knows all the right people and gets the job done with no bumps, at least if there were I didn’t know about them which is great lol our wedding was the best day of my entire life and I feel Dawn played a big part in that 💕 -

Dawn with Epic Events haloed plan my daughter’s wedding
Dawn helped plan my daughter’s beach wedding on August 20, 2022. She was very professional and accommodating. She arranged the DJ, cake, photographer, and found and decorated the simple reception. Everything was just to my daughter’s liking. We didn’t have to do a thing! Highly recommended! -

The BEST investment in my wedding!!!

Amazing wedding planner
We hired Dawn as a partial planner. I was very nervous about planning the bigger aspects of the wedding, entertainment, florals, food and decor. She went above and beyond my expectations! It was as if she was inside my head pulling out all the ideas I had for our wedding and made it come to life!!
She was with us through our postponement and helped us get all our vendors together.
Her organization was so detail oriented! My night was a dream come true thanks to Dawn and her team ! -

If you're reading this review, stop searching for a wedding coordinator and use Epic Events because Dawn is the best! We employed her services for our micro wedding and everything was perfect! Regardless of buying one of her smaller wedding packages, she treated us like royalty. She was thorough, organized, responsive, reliable and enthusiastic. Her recommendations for photographer (Jonathan Dyer) and hair/makeup (Femme Akoi) were fantastic and I would recommend both companies. She worked with me to get the perfect bridal bouquet and it was stunning. She also took care of getting the micro wedding cake and making reservations for our post-wedding dinner at Ocean Hai (both were delicious!) She makes me want to do it all over again! Dawn, a million thanks to you! -

If you are on the fence or think you don't need a planner, think again. The best decision we made was hiring Dawn and her team. We got the full service and it paid for itself several times over and helped to make our wedding absolutely beautiful and judgment-free! I'd never planned a wedding before so I had no idea of all the details and decisions that are involved. She made vendor selection so much easier than having to scour the internet for reviews and just hoping the reviews were legit. She was available to answer all the random questions I constantly had. Definitely recommend her and her team for one of the most important days of your life. -

The perfect dream wedding!
We hired Dawn after being referred to her from the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. She came with a glowing recommendation.
After our first call with her, we knew we were in fantastic hands! She handled all of our requests, and several changes, with ease and flexibility. She knows everyone in the Clearwater area.
She touched base with us several times leading up to our wedding day and even helped us with a last minute wedding license/courthouse craziness mix-up thanks to COVID.
Our wedding day went off without ONE mishap - truly! Dawn went ABOVE and beyond for us and we cannot thank her enough. From the wedding arch, to our flowers and cake... everything had that perfect touch.
Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dawn for everything! -

Stunning Indian Micro-Wedding
Dawn and her team were absolutely incredible and made our dreams come true! Dawn planned our micro wedding on 3 months notice and it was nothing short of stunning.! She was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and was very intent on fulfilling all of our wishes. We met several times on video chat and planned the entire wedding virtually. She had so many connections with vendors that we always had options to choose from all within our budget. We had so many concerns being more than a 1000 miles away but she handled everything on our behalf and was a huge support to us even after our wedding. We could not have asked for more and have zero hesitations about planning with her again. We highly recommend and the pictures speak for themselves. -

Flawless Wedding
Where to start?!? Dawn with Epic Events by Booth created the absolute perfect wedding for Scott and I! When I initially reached out for help planning a small 30 person wedding in Tampa in lieu of our original much larger wedding in Miami due to pandemic limitations, she introduced us to the idea of a micro wedding. It couldn’t have worked out better! As a couple living in Miami we didn’t know where to look in the Tampa area and who was reliable. She was attentive, sweet, professional, calming when I needed it the most, and felt like so personal with every plan we made. She took all of our needs and wove it into a dream wedding! She even incorporated a hand fasting ceremony into the wedding exactly as we wanted. Each vendor we used with her micro wedding package was top quality and as amazing as she was. (Contour Salon and Studio, The Camera Crew LLC, On The Move Productions). Our arch was perfect and table decorations exactly what we envisioned. Just a fantastic person and top notch wedding professional!! -

I don't know where to begin! My husband and I wanted to do a destination beach wedding in Clearwater (we live 2.5 hours away). I needed full service wedding planning due to my work schedule and being easily stressed by planning anything, better yet, a wedding! Dawn walked us through the whole wedding planing process starting 9 months before our wedding date. She handled EVERYTHING. Dawn, Anna and her team pulled together a truly epic wedding day for us. Everything was so wonderful. I cannot thank her enough. She was always a text/call away when I had questions and dealt with all of our vendors for us. I could go on and on about how much she did for us. We are SO grateful for her and her team. I highly highly recommend Dawn for any event! -

I hired Epic event by booth as a partial planner but honestly anytime I had a question or going through the checklist it covered everything! Dawn package that she gives is on point it covered all the things your wouldn’t even think about ahead of time and it gives you plenty of time to focus on your to do things. Thank you Dawn and Anna for your hard work. Our wedding was beautiful and perfect in all ways possible. Couldn’t have done it without you guys! I am one that always ask for recommendations, what do you think and Dawn was right there with options and suggestions. It was all seamless. Her recommendations in vendors were on point while focusing on our Budget. I went to bed the night before the wedding thinking this a a really big puzzle to put together in a few hours but nope it was smoothly done, and if their were issues the day if I still don’t know of it! I can’t even give her the benefit of the doubt writing she had a bad month. She doesn’t know etiquette, pays no attention to details and I regret daily putting my trust in her. If there is a mother of the groom bridzilla, I suppose I am one. But expecting the coordinators assistant to not direct my guests in sneakers and jeans and noticing the wrong menu was delivered is not too much to expect. Along with the 20 other things she didn’t know or completely dropped the ball on. If you are clueless as to how a formal event is run, she’s probably fine. She knows how bridesmaids should hold flowers and how many guests to a table If you are detail oriented and want a spectacular day to remember, find someone better.
