“Wow, just wow!” (Me, viewing our wedding photos for the first time). Emma Lee Photography photographed our wedding in July 2022, and she is incredible. Emma communicated clearly and promptly, so we always knew what was happening, and she made sure our needs were met. She showed up on time, was professional with our friends and family members, and honored the groom’s request of a short photo session after our ceremony, so we could get to the party.
The photos are stunning. I cannot look at our gallery without bursting into happy tears. Emma captured the essence of our day, and it is pure magic. If you are looking for wedding photography in the Pacific Northwest, look no further. Our day was a dream. -

Emma was one of the best parts of our wedding. She was so fantastic to work with and fun! The photos turned out AMAZING and we love all of them. Emma helped with the timeline and was happy to help in anyway she could. All the guests loved her and commented about how great she was. We can’t wait to do more pictures with her in the future and tell all our friends to hire her. -

Emma did an amazing job capturing all the special moments of our wedding day! Knowing some of the behind the scenes drama that existed, she found ways to bring out the best in people in the moments that mattered. I appreciated the creative posing, the extra shooter, and really...not really knowing she was there as she didn't create a lot of attention on herself to still get the best shots. I am SO happy with the shots and am thankful to have such beautiful memories captured to share for many years to come! -

We couldn't be happier! Emma is AMAZING!
If you're looking for a photographer, seriously, stop your search and book Emma right NOW! Holy cow, she is amazing!!!! From the moment we met her, we were sold. She was professional, prepared, and detailed. We only interviewed one photographer for our wedding because it was obvious that not only is Emma's work amazing, but we had full confidence in her to be responsive and reliable. Also, as an interracial couple, we were worried about having the right lighting for both of us. We were honest about our concerns in the beginning and she was understanding and showed us additional work from her portfolio that put our minds at ease.
As our original wedding plans unraveled due to COVID, she was incredibly patient and kind to us. We had about 3 or 4 different wedding plans due to developments in the pandemic and Emma was flexible and understanding the entire time. In the end, we kept our original wedding date and had a small wedding with about 12 people. We rented an Airbnb with a garden and we were concerned that there wouldn't be enough photo-worthy shots. But, oh boy, did Emma make it work. Our photos are phenomenal! We can't stop looking at them. And because our wedding was so small, everyone there got to interact with her and everyone raved about how amazing she was. In the end, we could not be happier. Our photos are stunning. Emma made sure we were happy with each and every photo. We can't wait to hire her again for future shoots -- we really hope that she is in our lives for a long time. You will not be disappointed with Emma. If you think her work is amazing, book her! You won't be disappointed by the service and professionalism she provides and the amazing person that she is. We feel so lucky to have found her! -

We could not be happier with our decision to hire Emma to be our wedding photographer! We did an engagement session and had her and her assistant on site on our wedding day. We are the kind of people who hate posing and getting photographed and were dreading being the subject of so many photos but Emma truly made it an enjoyable and painless experience. She worked fully within our comfort zone and managed to get some of the most amazing photos we will cherish forever. Her communication was excellent and she made sure we were all on the same page about what we wanted her to focus on at our wedding. She managed to capture so many unforgettable moments at our wedding, which was especially impressive with our guest list at ~250. We were also worried about the challenges that the lighting situation at our venue would present for taking photos but Emma is amazing and you could never tell that the venue was dimly lit in the photos she took. On top of all this, Emma was an absolute delight to work with. Thank you Emma!

Emma did a wonderful job photographing our wedding! Emma is friendly and personable, easy to work with and very professional. And the photos turned out great! Love her photography style, we wanted mostly candid shots that felt authentic to our casual and intimate wedding, as well as some portraits, and we’re very happy with the results. Her rates are very reasonable for the value delivered. Definitely would recommend! -

TL;DR: EMMA IS THE BEST
Emma's style caught my eye because it was different from the others: not oversaturated, not glowy, just this perfect, real-life-but-better photography style that captured, more than anything, the essence of the emotions that I hoped to have on my big day. Meeting her for our engagement pictures, I was amazed at how natural and fun she made everything feel-- my then-fiance and I are super awkward for pictures! We were pleased with how they turned out and felt confident about her for the wedding. But even that experience didn't prepare me for just how perfect of an addition she and her second, Kayla, were at the wedding itself. They blended into the background when they needed to, provided efficient, time-considerate directions for posing pictures, and danced and chatted, all while taking what have turned out to be the most stunning pictures I could have dreamed of. She sent me an album of perfectly edited photographs, of which I "liked" 466. I still have no idea how I will narrow down ones to print-- a lucky problem to have! The feedback from friends and family has been overwhelmingly positive, both about Emma and Kayla's personalities and the photos themselves. I could not have asked for a better experience with a photographer. -

Wonderful photography!
Emma was wonderful at capturing the important details of our wedding! I forgot to have someone record the ceremony but the pictures told the story themselves so I'm very thankful!!! She is very personable to work with as well and I highly recommend :) -

Emma is a great photographer! She captured our wedding in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, perfectly. Emma is very professional, and enquired thoroughly about all our wishes before the big day. During the day, she was just everywhere where she needed to be (as we saw afterwards from all the wonderful shots). And even though many of our guests did not speak English, Emma managed to communicate with all of them. She involved them in her work with her enthusiasm, inviting attitude and amazing personality. We would recommend Emma to everyone, where ever you may live. -

Exceptional, Amazing and Beautiful
I don't even know where to begin. If I have to rate our overall experience I would give an eleven out of ten. The vibe she creates is amazing. I was more calm on my wedding day because she was so calm and supportive. I honestly forgot she was there at times, meaning she isn't in your face taking pictures in an annoying way. She captures intimate pictures and little details you don't even think of. The quality of work is amazing. We have found our new photographer for family events! I can't thank her enough for capturing our wedding day in such a beautiful way. You know when you meet someone who excels at what they do? That's her! We loved, not liked, but loved ever single photo. Thank you, thank you, thank you. -

We had told her we wanted mostly candid shot and she delivered on that. We have so many special moments that were captured for our ceremony and for our reception. My husband and I were planning our Washington wedding from South Carolina so things got stressful at times. Emma was such a peaceful and calm presence and she really made us feel at ease about all of the photography plans. She was amazing at taming our massive family for group pictures and very patient during times of chaos ha. She captured the most perfect day of our lives with the most perfect pictures.

Emma is kind, communicative, professional and enormously talented. She captures memories, not photographs and she does so with such skill, making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful.
