Wowza, where do I even start with our wedding planner, Ember and Stone Events?! 🎉 We had a destination wedding in sunny Palm Springs, California, and boy, did these folks rock our world. If you're looking for wedding magic-makers, Nicole, Ashley, and Sam are the dream team you never knew you needed!
From the moment we met them, it was clear that they were all about the "Ember" and the style. We had all these wild ideas bouncing around in our heads, and they grabbed those sparks and turned them into a blazing bonfire of wedding glory. 🔥
Nicole, our main point of contact, was an absolute styling ninja. She took our scattered thoughts and turned them into a Pinterest-worthy reality. I mean, I didn't know wedding decorations could look this good, but she made it happen. She's like a wedding design wizard who sprinkles fairy dust on everything. ✨
And let's talk about the big day – it was hands down the most beautiful, fun, and AMAZING night of our lives. f you take ONE piece of advice from me for your wedding: hire an incredible planner. And not just any planner—hire Ember and Stone Events.
I’m not exaggerating when I say working with Niki and the Ember and Stone Events team was the best decision we made (and honestly what made everything else we spent money on actually worth it). You can have the most beautiful venue, florals, dress, etc., but if the logistics fall apart or you’re stressed the whole day… none of it hits the same. They make sure it all hits.
From day one, the execution and organization were next level. Every detail was thought through ahead of time, timelines were airtight, and on the wedding day everything flowed so seamlessly that neither we nor our guests had a single clue how much was being managed behind the scenes—which is exactly the point. That is elite planning.
Design-wise… I don’t even have words. Their portfolio already speaks for itself, but seeing them bring our vision to life was something else. We wanted a very specific, less traditional vibe and they absolutely nailed it—like, beyond what I could have imagined. I’m also extremely picky, and I literally cried during our room reveal because it was so stunning. They just get it, whether you want classic, high-end elegance or something more creative and unique.
What really sets Ember and Stone Events apart though is how they work with you. Niki was always available (I could literally book time with her whenever I needed), handled ALL vendor communication flawlessly, and never dragged us into unnecessary back-and-forth or stress. If something needed our input, she came to us with clear options and recommendations—otherwise, she just handled it. Quietly, efficiently, perfectly.
They also know all the best vendors in town, but aren’t pushy at all—if you want to bring in your own people, they’ll help vet them and make sure they’re solid. And they’re amazing at helping you stay on budget without compromising the vision.
On a personal level, Niki is just such a joy to be around—genuine, calm, sparkling energy. And when I say she had our backs… she even handled a family situation that popped up on the wedding day so flawlessly that I barely had to think about it. That alone is priceless.
I’m a very type-A, detail-oriented person, and let me tell you—wedding planning is a completely different beast. Ember and Stone Events somehow give you the perfect balance of control and peace of mind. You can be as involved as you want, but you never have to carry the stress.
Because of them, my husband and I were able to fully be present and actually enjoy our wedding day. Not once did we think about logistics, timing, vendors—nothing. We just lived in the moment, which is exactly how it should be.
Long story short: hiring Ember and Stone Events isn’t just a good decision, it’s the decision. Could not recommend them more if I tried. -

All In On Forever
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Niki and her team. Planning our wedding took nearly two years, and because it was a destination wedding in Las Vegas while we lived in California, having the right planner was absolutely crucial. From day one, Niki took our vision and brought it to life, all while staying within the budget we had set. Not to mention the selection of vendors that were absolutely amazing to work with and are gifted in their own crafts that Niki has built a great professional relationship with made choosing vendors a breeze.
What stood out most was her ability to handle every detail seamlessly from afar. She made the entire process feel organized, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. Niki understood exactly what we wanted, elevated our ideas, and executed everything flawlessly. On the wedding day, everything came together even better than we imagined.

Hiring Niki was THE BEST $$$ WE SPENT on our wedding. PERIOD.
I’ll start by saying that I (the bride) am not a perfectionist, but I do have a lot of ideas lol… So planning something as huge as our wedding (with 200+ known guests right from the start) felt both incredibly exciting and overwhelming.
Enter Nicole “Niki” Day of Ember & Stone...
My now-husband and I knew we wanted to get married somewhere in the desert in the Southwest US. We interviewed a few highly esteemed planners in the region and instantly clicked with Niki. From our very first call, we knew she was the right choice.
We booked her for partial planning, which meant securing our “big four” vendors upfront, then having her and her team step in full-time six months before the wedding to book remaining vendors, handle logistics, and bring our design vision to life. Looking back, if we had the budget to bring her on from day one, we definitely would have! The venue search alone was overwhelming, but even before the six-month mark, Niki went above and beyond—answering our questions, providing incredibly helpful guides and templates, and sharing vendor recommendations tailored to our vision.
Three ways she made the magic happen:
✨ Niki’s energy is unmatched. Working with her felt like planning with a best friend—someone who actively listened, understood our vision, and made everything feel effortless. Our wedding day was a DREAM—so magical and unforgettable. Guests are still raving about how much fun they had and how thoughtful the little details were. Where to begin! The thought of planning a wedding gave me so much anxiety. I knew that I wanted a celebration, but I didn’t want it to look like every other wedding I’ve been to and I also didn’t want to spend my whole life savings on it. After putting it off for almost 2 years, I stumbled across Ember & Stone on Instagram and immediately felt seen! Their nontraditional, unique designs really drew me in, and once I officially met with Niki and her team, I had full confidence they’d be able to bring my vision to life. Niki and Sam felt like instant friends. They made me feel confident that my vision could be achieved within budget and shared equal amount of excitement around my design goals.
My hope was for the event to be completely outdoors –ceremony at Desert Love and reception at Cactus Joes. Of course, on the day of our wedding the weather was not on our side. Spirits were low, stress was high, but Niki and her team were determined to make my dreams come true (rain or shine). They ended up being able to quickly pivot and move the entire reception within a greenhouse they had at Cactus Joes. The thought of having it “inside” made me so sad, I was so invested in the outdoor set-up we had spent the year planning, but at some point you just have to surrender, have faith in your team and hope for the best. Before the ceremony I was able to take a first look of the new venue and I could not believe my eyes, I nearly broke down in tears. They had completely transformed the greenhouse in to an oasis of my dreams!! After seeing it, I couldn’t have imagined it any other way – it was perfection!
These group of girls are SO talented. Their attention to detail, consistent communication, determination to understand their clients and do whatever it takes to make their wildest dreams come true, sets them apart from the rest! Do not sleep on the opportunity to work with this amazing crew. You will not regret it!

I am not even sure where to begin with this review. Meeting Niki and Sam from Ember & Stone was a blessing. After searching around with different planners out in Vegas, the second I talked to Niki I KNEW. Our wedding was PERFECT, there isn't one thing I would change. Being from Boston, I knew nothing about weddings in Las Vegas, I had a million questions and my vision changed 10 different times. Niki and her team were there with me for the ride, every call they were excited, and so when there were times I felt overwhelmed, when I talked to them that stress melted away. We ended up with 85 people traveling from the East Coast to Vegas, and seriously not one thing went wrong, EXCEPT the rain! The only day it rained in Vegas was on my wedding day, which forced us to switch ceremony locations day of. I will admit when you spend 2 years picturing your wedding one way, I was bummed, but trying not to panic. Within a couple hours E&S were able to secure a new location (which I ended up loving more than my original) and no one knew the difference. I can't imagine what it would have been like if I didn't have Niki and Sam. When we arrived everyone was in awe, every little detail was absolutely perfect. When we got to the reception at Mid Century Manor, I was even more blown away that my vision we had only spoke about had come alive. I couldn't have dreamed it up any more perfectly. Every last vendor she secured was more than perfect. Our photographer and videographer felt like our friends, the mobile bar was everything, the flowers and the details were incredible. My hair and makeup, I literally couldn't even handle how perfect it came out. The staff at Mid Century Manor was amazing, our bartenders were the BEST. When it decided to rain on us while dancing they stayed out there and kept the party going. The food was amazing, and lastly Niki was amazing. She stayed with us the entire time right until the end. Without E&S I would have never found these perfect vendors. Everyone single one of my guests commented on how amazing she was. We had the time of our lives, when we left Vegas to go home I was sad because E&S become part of life in a special way, and the thought of wedding planning being over and not being able to talk to them all the time was sad. They helped make my most important and biggest life event thus far be absolutely perfect. Though they will go on to make many more brides and grooms feel incredible, I will remember them for the rest of my life. Could not recommend more.

WHERE DO I BEGIN!? Long story short.. Nicole brought the vibes! I scheduled my engagement photoshoot preeetttyyy last minute (we're talking less than a week) & I had an even more last minute request with my photographer to set a romantic candlelit table up in the middle of nowhere in a lake, and Nicole literally brought that idea to life in a matter of days. She was on board and was hyping me up the entire time which is all a girl really needs!! She made this whole process seamless and enjoyable. Nicole is so kind, outgoing, and very open minded to ideas. Her craft speaks for itself and I would recommend her for any events. Wow. Where do I begin? I spent a year and 5 months planning my dream destination Desert wedding with Niki, Sam and the rest of Ember and Stone Events. From our first call, I knew this was the team to execute the job. We were also instant friends and these were not only event planners, but people I could see myself hanging out with in real life! If only I lived in Vegas...For someone who was working with a specific budget and knew who I was but needed someone to take that info and help curate a vision and design...these girls were IT!!!! Not only design and vision but they also flawlessly helped me navigate the overwhelming task of finding and securing vendors in an area where I was unfamiliar. Anyone they recommended, I had peace of mind knowing they were reliable and high quality! They also communicated with them and made my life 100 times easier. I showed up the weekend of my wedding and did not lift a finger. They handled everything, even unexpected twists and turns (mother of the bride was in the hospital day of wedding!). They were my rocks and positivity. When weather threw us for a loop, they did not hesitate and already had a back up plan in place. What resulted was the most beautiful celebration of love. When they revealed our reception to us, all I could do was cry. It was so beautiful and even better than any design board could depict. Niki also isn't afraid to push boundaries, take on unique ideas/projects and do anything to make your day feel authentic to you. Bottom line- I was blown away and so were all of my guests. They are still talking about it and will for years to come. Ember and Stone will always have a place in my heart! I recommend them to any future brides looking for the most unique and personable wedding planning team. There is no where they can't go and nothing they can't execute! -

truly wanted anything to do with my wedding to be stress free and Ember and Stone did that soo easily. Niki and Lexi were the main ones guiding me through. My work schedule can be pretty hectic but they were able to work with my through their portal and by sending me questionnaires. I love how they really took the time to get to know me and my husband first before we began to even pick vendors. There were various questionnaires for every vendor we chose including photographer, location, colors, cake, set up, music, officiant, hair and makeup, etc. Not only that, they also had a guide for vendors outside of what was including in my package including, transportation, wedding floral preservatives, music services, hotels, bar tending services, nail services, etc. If I ever had any questions either Niki or Lexi were always there to answer me. Day of my wedding was one of the easiest events ever. I worry about a lot of things especially things out of my control but I didn't have to with Ember and Stone by my side. I truly don't think I could've asked for a better wedding coordinator. Niki was everything and more! -

The amazing day, where I didn't stop laughing
Booking ember and stone was the second easiest decision I made for the wedding, first marrying my best friend.
Me and my now husband always joked about getting married in Vegas, but we wanted something different. something more us.
Niki and her team, helped make our dream come true. She thought of everything and made it all so easy especially not being from the US having someone that knew how everything worked and want we needed to do. Even came to the rescue when my steamer wouldn't work to steam my wedding dress, she came with a steamer to the rescue.
We loved Niki's energy, I felt like she was just as excited as we were. When it came to the photos we are not picture people but Niki and Kassie were amazing helping us feel relaxed. I just remember laughed the whole time. And the preview we have had is amazing.
I honestly can't thank them enough, we will remember everything of that day and how much fun we had which is the most important thing.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Niki and her team. When I found Ember and Stone Events on instagram I knew I had to hire them for our micro wedding and messaged her right away. She responded so quickly, and instantly made me feel like I made the right choice. Being from Canada, I was so nervous booking a planner in another country, but right from the start, Niki and her team were so accommodating, answered all of my questions in a timely manor and were extremely helpful in all aspects. I absolutely loved all the questionnaire’s they sent over to get to know you better and to get a better understanding of your vision. They were so much fun to fill out! Niki also sent along a very detailed list of her vendors and recommendations which were so helpful as well and saved us so much time searching! Her and her team handled all the permits we needed, hired the officiant, organized our hairstylists, photographer and videographer for the day of which was such a weight off our shoulders, and allowed us to really enjoy the planning process. All we had to do was get ourselves to Las Vegas and show up to the venue on the day of the wedding. I gotta say the decor planning was my favourite part of the whole process! I sent over some reference photos and described what I was looking for in one of the questionnaires provided and a few days later Niki had put together a whole mood/vision board which was so cool to finally see your vision come to life. It was perfect and better than I expected! Once the wedding day arrived, Niki and her team handled everything. Any problem we came across she had a solution for, any question we had she had an answer. I would 1000% recommend Ember & Stone Events to anyone and everyone. I honestly could not imagine my wedding day without Niki! It was absolutely perfect. All of our guests that attended, had nothing but great things to say about our wedding too! Everyone from back home couldn’t believe how fun and stunning everything looked. Ember and Stone Events is run by badass women that treat you like one of their besties! The Ember & Stone team is absolutely flawless. Their energy is unmatched. They will listen to all your ideas and respond with enthusiasm and make everything come to life beautifully! Their expert experience also gives them the knowledge to know when to guide you toward better options. They know what works and what doesn’t. They have that eye for aesthetics. You know everything is going to be gorgeous when Ember & Stone styles your wedding or event.
Not only will everything look beautiful, but you will feel completely taken care of on the day of your event. Of course nothing ever goes 100% perfectly, but these people will make it feel everything DID go 100% perfectly! I cannot recommend them enough!

Making Dreams Come True!
Nikki, Sam, and their team are real-life fairy godmothers. I am pretty type A/detail oriented/a bit of a control freak - but I did my best to let go and let the experts do their thing, and I'm glad I did :)
These women know what they're doing, and had every detail and moment planned. There is no way my husband and I could have pulled off our wedding (which we got tons of compliments on) without them.
No request was silly or crazy - they did everything they could to say "YES!" to any request we had.
Want to add a disco ball to the ceiling install one week out? No problem
Sam led the charge on our wedding day and deserves so many kudos for being so calm and kind while she was probably being pulled in 100 different directions.

I can go on and on about how AMAZING Niki and Ember and Stone Events is. She was able to take us on and in a month(30 days!!) She was able to plan the most beautiful and perfect day for us. Nicole Day and her team at Ember and Stone Events made my wedding an unforgettable event that will forever live in our memories as the best day ever! I am so glad I found her TikToks and IG posts and messaged her. We didn't know where to begin with planning our wedding and Niki was there every step of the way to answer every single question we had. She helped us with the date, venue, and all the little things in between. It didn't matter how small the detail was, Niki always had advice and suggestions. She provided an unlimited amount of support that truly allowed us to enjoy the months leading up to our wedding without being stressed. She gets your style, she learns about your personality, and gets a feel for what you both want. In spite of some of our indecisiveness with style or ideas, her team was able to get us to where we want to be. The real magic is truly the day of. Before I knew it, Niki handled potential problems and effortlessly moved us from photos to cocktails to our entrance and more without breaking a sweat. The expertise she brought really allowed our wedding to feel intimate and it came out to be everything we had hoped for. Her presence that day was so comforting and made us feel like the most special people. It was personalized and she was truly there for us. The decision to hire a wedding planner was harrowing, but Niki customizes each and every plan and package to her couples. This was a feature that made me feel like we would get exactly what we wanted on our wedding day- even if we didn't know what we wanted during the planning process! I wish I could put into words how amazing Niki and her team was. We had our wedding in Yosemite and decided to do the month-out coordinating. She and Sam were completely detail oriented and focused. They made the day run smoothly and paid attention to all our requests and needs. And if you are not sure if you need a wedding coordinator - you absolutely do!!! And Niki is a great choice. I have been telling everyone that Niki and her team allowed us to feel like guests at our own wedding rather than hosts.
I feel the need to tell this story because I think about it often and it shows how dedicated Niki is. I was doing sunrise first look photos at Yosemite - so we had hair and makeup come at 2 AM - Niki was there bright eyed and bushy tailed. She helped me put on my dress and then drove me there. While on the drive I started to feel sick, Niki pulled over and held my hair back while I vomitted from nerves. Made sure it didn't get on my dress and then cleaned up the mess - and had a positive attitude and smile the whole time. I couldn't believe it. She truly cares about her couples and goes above and beyond to make the day special!!
On top of that - she is amazing at styling!! I just gave her the box of the decor that I wanted integrated with no direction and she made it look better than I could have imagined! And I NEVER trust other people when it comes to aesthetics. Niki and her team are amazing, I cannot say it enough! -

I booked Niki and her team quickly after getting engaged in August of 2020. With my date being set in May of 2022, she fully took the reigns and made my dreams come true. Beyond Amazing
Where do I even start? Niki and her team were an absolute DREAM come true. She instantly became family to us. For months we planned our March 2023 wedding and even planned to go to Vegas to plan that wedding. We got married on the popular date of 2/22/22 and let me tell you, I would not have made it through the day without Niki & Sam. They were always by my side through all the last minute vendor, venue, and weather changes. I am a bit of a control freak so it’s hard for me to let go and let people help me, especially when I have such a specific mood/ambience in mind. The communication was always on point and I always felt so heard and taken care of. The whole day truly felt like something out of a movie!
We were looking at a beautiful sunny wedding day weeks ahead, perfect for our outdoor reception. Little did we know that cloudy skies, wind, and SNOW were in the cards. We ended up having to move everything inside our house when it started snowing, but it happened to be the BEST part of the night. All of our family, friends, and vendors got together to bring everything indoors and it was absolutely magical! The intimate candle lit dinner inside our home was so much more special than we could have ever planned. Niki, Sam, and Hannah made it happen in the blink of an eye and it meant so much more than they could ever know!
I am still emotional looking back at pictures of the day and I just couldn’t thank Ember & Stone Events enough for making our day so unforgettable. I’ve definitely gained besties for life!

All around awesome team!
Niki and her team made everything easy. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Niki is but I'll try my best. First, she is the absolute best planner & coordinator out there!!! We had been planning a large wedding here in FL and due to COVID had to cancel so we made the decision to elope out West, and that's where Niki came in. We found Niki on IG and didn't even have to, or want to, reach out to anyone else because we knew we had to hire right after our first phone call. Her upbeat and positive energy is truly infectious and she is there for you every step of the way. Not being familiar with the area or planning an elopement, she answered ALL my texts and e-mails leading up to the big day and she helps you feel so stress-free. Originally, we weren't planning on hiring a planner/designer for our wedding elopement at Valley of Fire (since it was suppose to be simple...didn't feel like we needed to), but I'm so glad we did! The best!!!
If you are *thinking* about booking Niki just stop reading this right now and DO IT! I had initially thought I could do everything on my own but quickly became overwhelmed and discouraged when realized that I would be so caught up in trying to make sure everything went to plan that I wouldn't be able to enjoy our special day. I contacted Niki about a month before our wedding to see if she could help and luckily she was still available and familiar with the vendors that I had already booked on my own. She is so friendly and bubbly and had so many wonderful ideas that I immediately felt at ease and knew that I was making the right choice working with her.
On the morning of our wedding, Niki called me and let me know that the weather wasn't looking so great (temp in the 50s, windy, rainy-- yes, in May, in Las Vegas. I know. WTF?!) but she was already on top of it and had blankets and jackets in her car for us and was stopping at the store to buy clear umbrellas. I was a nervous wreck but she assured me everything would be fine and thankfully it was. The weather cleared up and when we arrived to our ceremony site I was blown away at how gorgeous everything was. Somehow, from a few phone calls/e-mails and maybe 4 inspo pics I sent her, Niki managed to capture exactly what I had envisioned but a million times better. The colors, textures, charcuterie, cake--everything was perfect. I look back at the pictures and videos every day and still can't believe that it was OURS. It feels like a dream. Our wedding was more amazing than I ever could've dreamed up and I truly owe it all to her.

Niki and her team of vendors made our elopement a dream come true. After multiple wedding reschedules we were excited when the idea of elopement came into view, but where to even start? We live across the country in Philadelphia but Niki made us feel like we were locals and she was available anytime to walk us through things, talk small and large details, answer any question, everything. I can't believe that she has other clients because she really makes you feel like you are her only event and sole priority, we were amazed.
We can't thank her enough for all of her hard work, dedication to us, and her attention to detail, even down to making sure the photographer got shots of things we forgot to mention but were important and thought of them for us!

If you're looking to plan a stress-free micro wedding or elopement in Las Vegas, look no further than Cactus Canyon Events! Niki is an absolute pro, badass wedding planner that will help you achieve your dream. My fiancé and I could not wait any longer to officially tie the knot so we knew we had our work cut out for us with planning a covid wedding. I came across Niki's Instagram account and fell in LOVE with her style and elopements. It was my dream, boho-chic, Pinterest board heaven all there in one place. I reached out to her in mid-September and by the first week of November, we were blissfully enjoying our mini-moon. The planning process was a breeze, Niki was available to us basically 24/7 and she even took us to breakfast to answer our 5,000 questions and listen to our corny ideas.
Niki made our dreams a reality with the perfect location, she seriously nailed it. I think I rejected roughly 12 locations and I'm sure a lesser planner would have given up on me but not Niki! She found the perfect location, florist, makeup & hair team, photographer, and even helped us decide on the groom's ensemble via FaceTime while she was on vacation. I was nervous about how my hair and makeup would hold up to an outdoor wedding and constant mask-wearing and removing so she set up a trail to set my mind at ease. I loved my hair and makeup so much so that I felt like a princess, I would never have known how to pick the right team for the job and the gals she chose for me felt like my friends by the time I was setting off to the ceremony.
Our wedding day went perfectly, Niki and her team handled grumpy family members, forgotten (by me) unity sand, and even tore apart her lunch so we could have an impromptu communion. Niki is a ride or die, better than any maid of honor and we could not be happier with the result. -

My husband and I are from Texas and planned our elopement with Nicole without ever meeting face to face or even scouting a location. My anxiety was very high due to planning wedding in a totally different state without knowing any preferred vendors and closing on a home. We were overall super happy with how our micro wedding turned out, and couldn't have done it without the help of Nicole and her team! Everything was gorgeous and they were super flexible with our special requests, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. They took our vision and coordinated a beautiful day. The vendors they work with are all top-notch, and we were so impressed with all of them!
The main reason I didn't give five stars is only because it felt like I had to be more on top of things than I expected to be when working with a full service planner -- it seemed like after sending the initial timeline I had to always be the one to push to make sure they sent stuff over, or remind multiple times to coordinate with the beauty team (like I ended up having to reach out to the MUA directly to book my trial because Ember and Stone didn't seem to remember to respond to emails about that). For example, they said they would send over the decor/vision board stuff 3 months prior to the wedding date; at 2 months before I realized I'd never gotten it and had to remind them to send it over. However, I do understand that our event was small and they had a couple of very large weddings (one of them out of the country) right around the same time so it might have just been they had a lot of other things going at the time.
Our wedding day came out lovely though, and we were super happy with almost everything with their planning and day-of coordination. The only couple of things that didn't go great were pretty minor: after the ceremony when the snacks/charcuterie was served, there wasn't a table to put food out for the guests - the food was just placed on some chairs, and a lot of the chairs from the ceremony were put away by then so many guests didn't have anywhere to sit. The other thing was we did cinnamon rolls instead of a cake, and the amount of cinnamon rolls was such that a lot of our guests didn't get any. One would think that for the price of a wedding cake we could have gotten a lot more than like 7 cinnamon rolls. But everything looked great, and otherwise it went off without a hitch! -
