We hired Liza to take photos at our post-elopement reception, and WOW, I can't recommend her enough! First of all, she is so kind and has a way of putting everyone at ease—which is great, because my husband and I are both a little awkward in front of the camera. But you'd never be able to tell in the final product! Her work is absolutely stunning, and she captured so many special moments. I love her portraits, but the candid photos she captured have my heart. You won't regret hiring her! -

Hire Eliza!
Eliza's work speaks for itself. She is a kind soul and is extremely and utterly talented. Eliza not only took our engagement photos but she also recently shot our Wedding! With everything going on during COVID, she still traveled to shoot our Wedding and we are so thankful that she did. She even gave us several sneak peak photos the day after our Wedding to post on social media and they turned out beautifully! We are so excited to see the rest of her magic! -

I had the pleasure of working with Liza for my engagement shoot and let me tell you this was the easiest experience ever! Upon meeting for the first time, I honestly felt like we had been friends for years! We decided to do a sunset shoot and were amazed at how many images we received. Liza went above and beyond to make sure each and every picture was exactly what we had envisioned.

I knew I wanted Liza as our wedding photographer the moment she introduced herself to the community of West Point girlfriends, and as soon as I got engaged, I emailed her to set up our engagement shoot. Liza was extremely flexible right from the start - even when she texted me the day before our engagement session saying a tropical storm was rolling in! We ended up doing our photos in the rainy weather and they could not have come out better. Anyone can make sunshine feel warm, but she managed to showcase our love as the warmth in these photos. Then, I was thrilled to find out she was sticking around West Point for an extra year and would be available for our wedding! Once we had our date set, we immediately booked her. Liza sent us a detailed questionnaire about what we were looking for, important moments we wanted captured, the feelings we hoped to see in the photos, and any other information she should be sensitive of on our wedding day. Day of, Liza was truly a fly on the wall, taking in every special moment, photographing the joy in the room, without interfering with guests' enjoyment of the big day. When we received our gallery, I was so shocked by some of the photos - they were of the most precious moments and so up close and personal, and yet I don't remember her being there taking the picture. Even formal photos were a complete joy; she not only knows how to set up the typical portrait shots (from 1 person to 35+ people in a single shot!) but had fun and silly prompts to create photos that are so fun and created great memories! She sent us a bunch of photos the day after our wedding to post and we had our full gallery back and beautifully edited within her 8-week timeframe, along with a sweet blog post (it's nice to relive the day through someone else's eyes!). We will cherish the photos she gave us forever. -

Eliza Jane is all you can hope and dream for. Our engagement pictures were some of the best I've ever seen and she is so funny. She makes your feels comfortable and calm during it all. We are so blessed that we found her and can't wait for our wedding in 5 months! -

Eliza is the real deal, whole package, best photographer you can be lucky enough to meet and work with. Eliza will make your engagement session and wedding day feel less stressful and more joyful. Her services are very well-priced for the Hudson Valley area, and she will go out of her way to make your day what you hope it will be. Case in point: on our wedding day, her car literally broke down on the highway, and she left it there (ah!!) to make it on time to our wedding. I couldn't believe it. She's just that person: she will go out of her way to do her job and do it insanely well. -

Eliza has done both my wedding and my engagement photos and there are literally not enough words to describe how incredible she is. If her photos didn’t speak for themselves, then all you would have to do is read a review by anyone who has had the privilege to work with her. Eliza is so endearingly awkward but lovely and unassuming. She makes it so easy for you to be yourself in your photos and has nothing but kind words and recommendations to suit any situation. She is extremely adventurous and flexible. You will get the best shots by just going with the flow and letting Liza do what Liza does to work her magic. I guarantee you, the best shots that you get will be the ones that she sneaks out of you, rather than the ones that we’ve seen over played on Instagram and Pinterest -
