Riley and her team went above and beyond for us! We absolutely adored working with Elegant Affairs by Design. From the very beginning, Riley allowed me to dream big. She gave us options to stay within our budget without sacrificing the luxury look we were wanting. Riley was so kind through every interaction we had. She answered every question, helped me through difficult decisions, and stepped in whenever I needed her. I never worried about a single thing on our wedding day. The EABD team came in, did everything, and allowed us to enjoy our perfect day! We are so thankful!!! -

Thanks to elegant affairs my design and their amazing wedding planner, Samantha (not me), we had the best wedding day ever! We started working with Samantha about two years prior to our wedding, I knew I could trust Sam from the moment we started planning. Sam was patient, kind, thorough and organized. She offered great suggestions and referrals. We are not from Florida so all of our venders were Samantha referrals. From the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding ceremony and reception It was seriously the best wedding weekend ever and that is all thanks to Sam! -

Sam and the entire Elegant Affairs by Design team amazed us every step of the way. From our very first conversation, Sam immediately put us at ease and we knew we were in great hands. We chose the month-of coordination package, which gave us the perfect balance of flexibility in planning while having the confidence that everything would come together seamlessly. Sam is an exceptional communicator. She checked in at all the right times, keeping us on track without ever making us feel overwhelmed. As the wedding approached, she stepped in effortlessly, coordinating with all of our vendors and making sure every detail aligned with our vision. On the day of the wedding, she truly went above and beyond. Sam handled everything- from setting up and breaking down, to managing the timeline, keeping an eye on the weather, bustling my dress, and even making sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day. Because of her, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without a single worry. She executed our vision flawlessly and worked so seamlessly with our vendors and family. We truly cannot recommend Sam enough, our day would not have been nearly as perfect without her! -

If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and hire Samantha and Elegant Affairs by Design. From day one, they treated our wedding as truly ours—taking the time to understand our personalities, style, and vision, and fully embracing our non‑traditional approach. Samantha had an incredible ability to understand ideas I struggled to articulate and turn them into thoughtful, meaningful details that felt completely authentic to us.
On the wedding day, we faced 35 mph winds and rain, yet I felt absolute calm and trust. Samantha and her team handled everything with grace, confidence, and zero panic, working seamlessly with our vendors and ensuring the day stayed as close to our original vision as possible. They are respectful, kind, professional, and unwavering advocates for their couples. I cannot recommend Elegant Affairs by Design highly enough. -

From start to finish, working with Samantha and EABD was the best decision we made for our wedding. After meeting with several planners, I immediately felt confident in Samantha because of her calm demeanor and incredible organization.
She made the entire planning process feel easy and manageable. Every detail was handled thoughtfully, and she was always quick to respond and stay one step ahead of anything we needed. One thing that really stood out was her amazing network of vendors — every recommendation she made was fantastic, and they all worked together to help make our wedding day feel truly magical.
On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment knowing Samantha had everything under control behind the scenes.

Skeptic No More!
From a father’s perspective, I present you with my honest and sincere opinion and thanks. Our daughter and now son in law talked about using a wedding planner early on as they planned their amazing day. I kept quiet about my feelings about the need and cost as best as I could, I did a very good job at that. As time went on and the months ticked away and the weeks and day drew closer I sensed things were well under control. I heard the name Samantha at our dinner table, the wedding planner. My wife and I first met Samantha at the tasting. I was impressed with her calm demeanor and kindness. I felt completely at ease at her sense of knowledge and willingness to make this wedding as great as one could be. I was copied on several emails but I knew my place as the father of the bride and kept quiet. Then the rehearsal came, and I saw this incredible, professional and calm person at work. Her ability to address every need was uncanny. She was able to almost sense any need or issue before we had a chance to even ask her. Then one of the most incredible days of our lives came, January 10, 2026, the wedding day. This day could not have gone any smoother from getting our daughter, now son in law, the bridesmaids, the groomsmen and mom and dad ready. Samantha was everywhere. A pin for a dress, help with a bow tie and everything else, Samantha was there. The wedding, the reception and detailed expertise made this day so special for our daughter and son in law. For that, my wife and I are so thankful and appreciative to Samantha and her staff. At the end of the long day, late at night, around 11 pm, there was a knock at our hotel room door. It was Samantha with her warm smile and kind face thanking us and dropping off a few things. Her long day ended with the same enthusiasm, patience and kindness as it started with. I went from a silent skeptic to a full throated endorser of not just a wedding planner, but Samantha and her team. Samantha, thank you for making our daughter and son in laws dream day come true. We are so thankful to you. -

We worked with Samantha, at Elegant Affairs, during our 18 month engagement. Immediately upon meeting Sam, I felt a sense of calmness and trust that she would not only help my vision come to life, but also help keep me calm on the wedding day, so that we could enjoy the day to the fullest. At the very beginning, she listened to our goals and she set up a timeline of everything that needed to be considered and done. Sam has the perfect balance as a wedding planner: she allowed me to be in control and waited for me to ask for help (and replied nearly immediately when I did need help), and also knew when to take the lead/ when I needed assistance, before I even asked for it. Sam's kind, bubbly, easy-going but extremely hard-working and organized personality makes her one-of-a kind.
Every time we met via Zoom for a planning meeting, I felt a great sense of relief after speaking with her. She always had ideas and solutions for any concerns that came up, and was always able to answer my questions. She has a way of making the stressors that kept me up at night seem so easy to solve, and handling those stressors so that I could focus on responsibilities I had in my daily life. Truthfully, I don't know what we would have done without Samantha to assist us in planning this wedding. Her emotional support in addition to her planning skills, organization, ideas and experience make her the best in the industry.
In the weeks before the wedding, she coordinated with all the vendors so that we could focus on family arriving and last minute details. On the big day, she brought Kasey, Kadey, and Caya. They were supportive, subtle and met every single need without question. Guests commented about how smoothly the wedding ran, and I 100% attribute this to Sam and her team.
There was never a time that we weren’t thrilled to be working with Samantha and her team. We cannot recommend Samantha highly enough. -

We had a wonderful experience planning and designing our wedding with Riley of Elegant Affairs by Design. She had coordinated my brother's wedding in 2022 and it was an easy decision to hire her for my wedding after being a part of his wedding.
We hired EABD early in our planning process and their support and guidance throughout the entire planning process was amazing! Riley kept us on track each month with detailed to-do's and support to ensure the process was fun and enjoyable and not stressful! Her expertise was invaluable throughout the many decisions that had to be made.
Riley is extremely professional, responsive and wonderful to work with. Having Riley's support, particularly in the last two months prior to our wedding was so amazing. Her communication with vendors and coordination of all the small details made us feel very calm leading up to the big day! I can't imagine having done this without her support! The entire EABD team that helped us the day of was amazing as well and we are so thankful to have worked with all of them! We highly recommend Riley and the entire EABD team!! -

Simply the Best!!
From the very first meeting with Sam and her incredible team at Elegant Affairs, we felt completely at ease. As the mother of the bride, I expected to feel overwhelmed by all the decisions and moving parts—but instead, I found myself genuinely looking forward to our monthly meetings. Sam is not only unbelievably organized and detail-oriented, but she also brings such warmth, calm, and confidence to the entire process.
Throughout the planning, friends would ask, “You must be so stressed, right?” and I could honestly say, “Not at all—Sam has it all handled!” And she truly did. Every single detail was perfect. The flowers, the food, the music, the bar—everything was set up beautifully and flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
The wedding day was absolute magic. Sam and her team made sure Caitlin and Lane’s day was everything they dreamed of—and more. Watching the two of them celebrate surrounded by so much love, in a setting that felt so personal and perfect, was something I’ll never forget.
Somewhere along the way, Sam became more than just our wedding planner—she became part of our extended family. I will be forever grateful to her for the care, love, and talent she poured into Caitlin and Lane’s wedding. Thank you, Sam and the Elegant Affairs team, for giving us a day we will cherish in our hearts forever.

Kayla and Sam helped bring my dream wedding to life, and I truly couldn’t have done it without them. I began working with them about nine months before the big day, and from the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and incredibly supportive.
They listened closely to my vision and not only executed it beautifully, but also offered thoughtful alternatives when needed. I genuinely enjoyed the entire planning process—especially thanks to their Aisle Planner service, which kept everything so organized and stress-free (and was included with the package!).
I opted for the partial planning service because I wanted to stay involved, but I also run my own business and needed someone to help keep me on track with timelines and to-do lists. Kayla and Sam did exactly that—and so much more.
When the big day arrived, Kayla ran the show flawlessly. Everything was seamless, and my husband was blown away by how much coordination and effort went into making the day so perfect. He was very impressed with their team!
I can’t say enough good things about Elegant Affairs. They are professional, kind, detail-oriented, and just a joy to work with. I would recommend them to any future bride in a heartbeat. -

Best Decision We Made in Wedding Planning!
We cannot recommend Riley and the Elegant Affairs by Design team highly enough! From the moment we started working together, Riley was organized, dedicated, and a joy to be around. Planning a wedding is no small feat—but we asked her to help us plan two weddings due to Hurricane Milton.. Riley handled it all with grace, professionalism, and constant support.
She truly helped bring our vision to life, making every detail exactly how we imagined. We expected last minute hiccups during the weekend as everyone does, but she helped us prepare so effectively that there was not one thing that happened that we were not ready for. I can't say enough amazing things about Riley and the Elegant Affairs by Design team. Our experience truly exceeded all expectations, Riley threw us the wedding of our dreams. Absolutely understood the assignment from day one and did everything in her power to make my vision come to life. She was responsive, proactive, and extremely organized the months leading up to our wedding. Her ability to manage everything and think of things before they ever even came up was impressive.
As someone who is also Type A and organized herself, I can confidently say I would not have been able to figure this out without her. I really enjoyed how up front she was throughout the entire process, always realistic about budget but also finding ways to incorporate all the details I envisioned.
Not only is she professional, talented, and knowledgeable but she is also one of the most pleasant people I've had the chance to work with. She is sweet, relatable, and always made me feel understood and heard (even when I made her hop on zoom calls at 8am sharp).
I truly am so grateful to have found her, not only because my wedding turned out exactly how I envisioned it, but because I now consider her a friend. I highly recommend Riley and her team, they are simply THE BEST! -

My mom and I designed and had a vision, but Kasey and her team were phenomenal in bringing our vision to life—and even making it better than we could have imagined. We cannot express enough how amazing Sam was for our wedding day!! She is incredibly organized, attentive to detail, and was always available to answer our questions or any concerns we had. Best Decision Ever
The best decision I made was hiring Riley with Elegant Affairs by Design as my wedding planner. She is the sweetest most thoughtful person ever. Hiring Riley & EABD for our November 2023 wedding in St. Pete was easily the best decision we made throughout the whole process. We immediately knew we wanted to go with EABD after our initial consultation call about a year and a half out from our wedding. Riley was with us during our entire planning process outside of selecting our venue. She connected us with several fantastic vendors, assisted with the design and color scheme, created our timeline and so much more. Riley is a great communicator, passionate about her job and clients and so caring! We also really appreciated the honesty and advice she gave us and fully trusted her with our wedding planning. I can’t even begin to describe how lucky I am to have had Riley and the whole elegant affairs by design team plan my wedding. Riley was with me every step of the process which meant the world to me with my mom not alive anymore. I was able to work through every planning and design piece with Riley and not only have an amazing planner but now a best friend. The team was there and made sure my rehearsal dinner, wedding and post wedding brunch were perfect. As an extreme type A personality, knowing I had EABD taking care of everything the whole wedding weekend removed all stress. Where do I even begin! We hired Riley and her team at Elegant Affairs by Design for month of coordination and it was one of THE BEST wedding decisions we made. After our first call we knew that our event would be in good hands. It was so clear that they love what they do and take pride in helping you create the wedding of your dreams. Every call felt like I was talking with a close friend, which made wedding planning nearly stress-free. Any hiccup that may have occurred during the planning process was resolved quickly and professionally which was so helpful. We were able to truly enjoy our wedding day knowing that each detail was being cared for.
Something that stuck out to me throughout the wedding planning process was how much vendors LOVE the EABD team. They would be thrilled to know we were working with Riley and emphasized that we were going to have the most perfect wedding with her help.

Truly amazing experience!!
I don't have enough words to express by gratitude to EABD for all of their hard work and professionalism regarding my daughter's wedding. The open communication we had with Samantha was amazing!! Although my daughter and I had already signed contracts with the venue, DJ, Florist, Photographer, Videographer and Transportation, Samantha took over communication as the day got closer so that we didn't have to. On the day of the weeding, Samantha did have a few simple questions and she came to me so my daughter could enjoy her day. I also enjoyed the day because I was so confident with Samantha and her assistant that I knew they had everything under total control. If you are looking for a wedding planner or a month of coordinator, look no further!!! You will not be disappointed and it will be the best money you spend on your wedding! -

There's not enough I can say about Riley and her team at EABD. We took a chance booking someone unknown and couldn't have been happier! Riley was with us every step of the way, through ups and downs, and unfortunately witnessed ALL the family drama and yet she made sure that no matter what- everything went perfect for my fiancee and I. She communicates effectively, is keen to detail, organized and all around badass!!! There's no way that our wedding could have been executed as well as it was without Riley. She felt like family throughout our entire experience and became family by the end of the night. We owe many many thanks (and our hangover) to Riley!!

Riley and her team at EABD were absolutely incredible, and I cannot imagine our wedding without them! It really was a dream come true. Through the planning process, Riley was very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. She always made sure we had peace of mind with where we were at in the timeline. Riley exceeded my expectations by asking the vendors questions I never would have thought of, taking detailed notes while in vendor meetings, being extremely organized from day 1, and adapting to a new vision when I wanted to change my floral design. I was able to truly relax on our wedding day knowing we were in such good hands. EABD stayed through the whole day ensuring proper clean up of the venue, and Riley made sure I received my guest book, signs, card box, champagne flutes, etc. back after the wedding. My family can't stop talking about how wonderful, genuine, caring, and professional Riley and her team were at the wedding. If you're looking for a wedding planner, I couldn't recommend Riley enough! -

Riley and the EABD team are INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best in Tampa area and honestly Florida. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. 11/10 recommend. They are just that great!
When I first started planning my wedding, our first venue got sold due to the pandemic. I thought my dream wedding was not happening because it was going to take a lot to move things around and find vendors and the perfect venue. But Riley was there every step of the way making sure my vision came to life. From recommending vendors, keeping me on schedule, being so flexible with planning a wedding virtually due to pandemic and distance and going above and beyond that not only the day of the wedding but pretty much throughout our 2 year planning journey... I couldn't have picked a better team to help me plan our fairytale wedding. Riley and Samantha were a pleasure to work and I hope we continue to grow the friendship we developed. I cannot wait to plan more milestone events with these girls. They promise and deliver and I couldn't be more happy to have had them as part of my vendor team. Just AMAZING overall! What really makes EABD stand out is the amount of empathy and care that Riley puts into her brides. Riley would check on me constantly, ask how I'm feeling and really listen to me. She would empathize with me and offered to do whatever she could even if there were things outside of her scope. Let me first start by saying Riley is the kindness person ever. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone to the moment the wedding was over she never missed a beat. She was calm when I was not she always was our biggest cheerleader. Her entire team was professional, organized and motivated. I am a stickler for detail and they nailed each one of them. We hired Riley for month of coordination and it was the BEST decision of the entire wedding. She took all the stress out of the month leading up to our wedding and made our wedding day run so smoothly. Our venue’s ballroom a/c broke the day of the wedding and we had to move to a completely different room at the hotel after everything had been set up. Riley completely took care of the entire room switch and we didn’t have to stress about it at all. Riley and the EABD team put my mind at ease in planning my wedding. I was half way to the big day and felt like some vendors were giving me the run around. It felt like they were pushing their agenda and vision (and costs) on us. Enter - EABD! Riley spent a whole hour on our first call (before I even officially booked) to discuss my vision, the details, and what we wanted to see on our big day (a lot of planners I interviewed seemed to want to execute their vision or push certain decisions to make their lives easier). She was super supportive of our vision and took the time to explain options. Riley was organized, professional, kind, and responsive throughout the process. She was available to chat on the phone, Zoom, and meet in person. Most importantly, on the day of our wedding, I could put my mind at ease knowing that Riley and her team were executing everything the way we planned. There is no way you - or your friends/family - can handle everything day-of, and having Riley and her team to oversee it all made all the difference so that we and our loved ones could focus on having an enjoyable experience. I loooove EABD !!!!!
The best thing I ever did was hire Riley and her team for my wedding!!! I was so worried about having a destination wedding in the Virgin Islands and Riley and Samantha were so great at planning EVERYTHING and dealing with unresponsive vendors and all the island locals who run on “island time”. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and stress free and I’m so sad it’s over because I feel like Riley and Samantha were like my best friends throughout the whole process and I miss complaining about all the family drama to them. And even though the tide was high on the beach for the ceremony, Riley STILL made it work since my fiancé wanted it on the beach so badly and I was so impressed that Riley pulled it off. I will forever be grateful for Riley and Samantha for making our wedding such a special, fun, once in a lifetime event! -

Working with Elegant Affairs by Design was truly a wonderful experience. I was trying to plan my small destination wedding in FL myself, but soon realized I wanted someone to handle/think of the smaller details, and also handle the day of too, so I could relax on my big day. There are not enough words to say how appreciative we are to Riley and her amazing team at Elegant Affairs by Design. I had no idea where to start with wedding planing so I knew I needed a wedding planner. I found Riley from social media and knew from the moment I saw her blush theme that she was the one for me. From the first phone conversation with Riley, I immediately felt like the most important person. Riley is bubbly, personable, tentative, great communicator, the cheerleader and therapist when you’re feeling stressed (because weddings are stressful), and the best wedding planner out there. From communicating my budget with vendors, giving me month by month and week by week planning check lists, helping me create a vision, she fought for us every step of the way. Our wedding day was the most special and perfect day of our lives and that’s thanks to Riley and her team at Elegant Affairs by Design! They will be a true blessing to your wedding weekend and I give them endless love and praise. We hope she’s still wedding planning when it’s our future kids’ turn to get married. -

Magical experience!
Elegant Affairs by Design is truly that, they designed the most elegant and romantic affair that I could have ever imagined. Riley went above-and-beyond in every aspect and is the most patient, kind, smart, and fun professional and friend. Riley planned our wedding among a pandemic and kept us calm through the entire process, even when we separated from our original venue less than 30 days until the event and a week later when the catered backed out, and especially as we were planning thousands of miles away. The key to great relationships is communication and Riley was not only proactive in her approach and communication, but never let questions linger.
Walking into our wedding was magic! The team put together our vision and more! I recommend Elegant Affairs by Design for every event and wouldn’t plan another event without them. -

Riley went absolutely above and beyond to make our wedding day more than we could have ever expected. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is definitely not the easiest of tasks but with the help of Riley, she made it such a breeze. On my wedding day, I had every detail from big to small in place and went into the day with no stress. Let me talk about the ceremony and reception.... they were beyond perfect. Riley made my vision and dreams for my wedding a reality. She knew how important some details were to me and made sure to have everything in place. The whole reception flowed so well, from the entrances to our sparkler exit. If getting married were a routine thing, Riley would 100% be my go-to gal. I used Riley and her team’s partial planning option; I suggest you have her do the whole thing or just to coordinate. She missed significant details for the day and overall I felt disappointed in her service. She misinformed us about picking up the marriage license, which caused a huge stress and meant we had to add a state-mandated and approved marriage counseling course the week of our wedding. My florist showed her my bouquet the day prior which was round— not the draping style in all my inspo boards— and this was one of the vendor meetings she attended. She also had my photo timeline wrong so gathered my family for photos when my husband and I were doing our private photos so they missed a significant portion of their cocktail time. She dismantled the card box I bought to contain the cards- and cash! gifts- so that I found envelopes all over the floor of the SUV that was meant to contain the box to protect those cards and gifts. On the other hand, I think she has a sweet disposition and she did help pull together when my name cards never arrived from my Etsy vendor and I think she managed the vendor team well on day-of. Overall, my wedding was beautiful but I felt disappointed I spent so much on services that felt amateur rather than professional. -

Riley was included in our package at casa Lantana as our "Wedding Planner and coordinator" Riley was not what we thought she was. She appeared very sweet and kind throughout the planning process however the day of she behaved very differently. Honestly I planned most of my wedding and she had her check list to make sure we got things done. On the day of the wedding she didn't even set up all the decor accurately and some of my things weren't even used even though we discussed it prior. She does not seem to handle stress well and it showed which made me very stressed! She rushed us along to make sure we followed the timeline but then disappeared throughout the reception. As a wedding coordinator we expected her to be around to help things flow and keep our DJ from fumbling around however she was seen often inside chatting with other staff. The worst part of having her as our "coordinator" was when she instructed Casa Lantana staff and my own contracted caterer to throw everything on the tables away. This included: party favors, photo booth photos, Thank you cards, and our custom boarding pass themed table assignments for our guests. The caterer herself was uncomfortable doing this and Riley was very aggressive with her tone when giving her this instruction. I discussed with the caterer prior that she would help buss tables (plates, cups, and utensil) things you typically throw away and not keepsakes meant for our guests!
When we questioned Riley about the missing things from the tables she was very dismissive and unprofessional. She knew how hard we worked on our DYI materials for our guests to take home and she really didn't care. She cared about rushing our reception and getting things cleaned up before the reception was even over. While our guests danced for only a short amount of time she was already throwing their things away. It was ridiculous and she never even apologized or held herself accountable for what she did. She told my aunt that she could pick through the trash to retrieve these items. I'm completely disgusted with how she conducted herself. She disrespected us and our guests by trashing the sentimental things at our wedding that were meant for our guests to take home to help them remember our special day. Our wedding was beautiful thanks to the amazing venue but as for Riley we really wish we were more respected and our wants and needs were taken more into consideration as our wedding came to an end. -
