    Highly recommend Eclipse!

    Our experience with Eclipse was phenomenal! Kristi was a life-saver helping us communicate with vendors, sending recommendations, and keeping us calm throughout the planning process. Her attention to detail and thorough knowledge of the industry was priceless, we truly couldn't have done this without her! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks to Kristi!! Eclipse and Kristi were so easy to work with, we highly recommend!!

    Call Stacy Now!

    We LOVE Stacy! I found Eclipse Events through the Knot/Instagram and reached out shortly after my engagement. I had interviewed several planners and felt like Stacy and I just clicked. We had already booked our venue by the time we hired Stacy but really had nothing else planned. I sent Stacy my Pinterest board and told her about some of my ideas for the big day, and she got to work immediately creating a mood board and reaching out to vendors. She had great vendor recommendations across the board and since we got married in Boerne, offered options from Austin and San Antonio. She was a large part of the planning process, but her biggest contribution was the weekend of the wedding. She was with us from the rehearsal dinner the night before all the way through our grand exit. We had a lot of moving parts that weekend and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was able to make quick adjustments to some last-minute changes I threw at her and I’m sure handled plenty of little hiccups that she made sure I never heard about. If you’re looking for a planner/coordinator who will absolutely nail the job and make it look easy, call Stacy!

    Amazing Experience (Husband Perspective)

    As the husband, I wasn’t deep into the wedding planning, but I know my wife has high expectations and a lot of specific requests. Kristi from Eclipse Event Co. did an amazing job keeping everything on track and managing all the details, big and small. She kept the process organized and took a lot of the stress off both of us. If you want someone who can handle anything thrown their way and keep things running smoothly, Kristi is the one you need. She delivered on every level and made sure the day was exactly what we wanted.

    Such a wonderful team!

    Haley was our planner for our wedding at Villa Antonia in March. I can't say enough amazing things about her - she is prompt, professional, empathetic, organized, and most importantly - ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!! Every little question I had she was already several steps ahead of me. We are so, so happy that we chose Eclipse because we couldn't have done this without Haley!

    A fun tidbit - I broke my toe 3 days before my wedding (proof you need to plan for every possible mishap!) and Haley handled it flawlessly. She made sure I was comfortable and checked in on us every step of the way. We are so thankful for her! Thank you for helping our wedding day be the best day ever!

    Work with Eclipse, work with Art, and be prepared for the best wedding day ever!

    Art at Eclipse is the best in the biz! We planned our Austin wedding from Boston and truly would not have been able to do it all without him. His portfolio of vendors were beyond impressive and made us feel confident in who we worked with for our big day. He answered our many (MANY!) questions over our year and half engagement and more importantly, he made sure our wedding day was seamless. He was always thinking at least three steps ahead all day. Work with Eclipse, work with Art, and be prepared for the best wedding day ever!

    Tessa is incredible

    There are not enough words to describe how amazing my experience was with Tessa at Eclipse Event Co. Tessa is by far the best decision my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. She was extremely detail organized, personable and my go to gal with every question and concern I had. I truly feel like I was working with my best friend.

    We worked with Tessa for about 1.5 years and she made sure every detail was accounted for. She would remind us of what needed to be completed at each month of the process, held us accountable and offered up soooooo many recommendations to make sure our day was extremely special. She also was super on top of all vendor communications behind the scene so that everyone was aware of timelines and expectations.

    On the day of, my husband and I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about a single detail. She was on top of everything from beginning to end and made our experience truly magical. If you have questions about who should be your planner, I beg of you...HIRE TESSA AT ECLIPSE! Thank you again for making this process soo fun for us :)

    Eclipse and Stacy Nailed It!

    Stacy is a ROCKSTAR! She went on a year-and-a-half journey of planning with us, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. She was quick to respond (email and text), professional in all instances, flexible, was really invested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted, was honest, and tactfully managed expectations. All of the vendors she recommended fit perfectly into our overall vision and she made the process very easy with them. The day of, she was amazing. She made sure every detail was planned to the T for us and all vendors and that everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend her and Eclipse enough!

    Incredible experience with Cherese!

    Cherese at Eclipse Event Co. was absolutely incredible! She was so crucial to making our wedding day completely amazing. Throughout our whole planning process, she was kind and approachable and listened thoroughly to our vision for our wedding and had great suggestions to implement this vision. Cherese made us feel comfortable, made us feel at ease to ask questions throughout planning, and was so fun to chat with during our planning meetings throughout the process. I am a very detail-oriented person who likes to be involved in planning, so I really appreciate that she made the process very collaborative! She was accessible and responsive throughout the planning process and communicated very clearly. As an engaged couple who wasn't familiar with the world of wedding planning, we really appreciated Cherese's expertise and advice on how to do things or what would work well. Cherese did a great job communicating with our vendors and wedding party and was so organized.

    On top of helping us design the wedding we dreamed of, Cherese absolutely saved our wedding day when an ice storm destroyed our original venue about 48 hours before our wedding! When Cherese called to tell us the news that our original venue was unusable, she already had a great backup plan and acted quickly to communicate with our vendors and implement everything we wanted for our wedding in a new space. We were SO happy with how our wedding turned out, and Cherese worked tirelessly to make it happen. In addition to doing such an incredible job with planning (and re-planning), she helped our wedding day run super smoothly! She was so kind throughout the day while keeping track of what all our vendors and wedding party members needed to be doing and coordinated with all of them seamlessly. We wanted our wedding to be a celebration of love, for our guests as well as for each other, and Cherese did a great job creating that atmosphere and helping us assesmble a vendor team that reflected this feeling throughout the day- we felt so surrounded by love and care, from our guests, but also from our wonderful vendor team, including Cherese. We cannot recommend Cherese and Eclipse Event Co. highly enough- our wedding literally would not have happened without her! THANK YOU, CHERESE!

    Art is an amazing wedding coordinator and exceeded all expectations!

    We worked with Art at Eclipse Events on our wedding and were more than happy with him! His wonderful, positive energy came a long way in helping us feel as relaxed and confident as we could that everything was being handled well and let us focus on actually enjoying the day with our closest friends and family. He expertly managed our vendors working the event and was always there when we needed him for a quick question or pivot to how we were doing something. We definitely recommend him if you’re looking for someone to help you make your wedding a smooth, fun event. You’ll be in good hands!

    Lauren C was amazing!

    What can we say about Lauren Chumbley of Eclipse Event Co other than she saved us! Before hiring Lauren, we spent months searching for a venue. Sorting through all of the possibilities was time consuming and overwhelming. Within a week of hiring Lauren, she provided us a list with several possibilities of each type of vendor that she had personally worked with and could vouch for. Even when we were interested in a vendor not on her initial list, she would enthusiastically support us and handle communication with the vendor. I can’t tell you how much of a stress relief that was to us.


    Throughout the year of planning for the wedding, Lauren was constantly personable, professional, and attentive. Even when our wedding was many months away, she would always promptly respond to our texts and emails.


    On the day of the wedding, Lauren was even more in her prime. Poor weather blew through and we had to make last minute adjustments to our ceremony. Lauren kept a cool head and minimized the impact on us. She honestly just handled everything on the day and we didn’t have to worry about it. She handled coordination with all of the vendors and the timeline and made sure everything was just right.


    Her attention to detail and wanting to get things right was also amazing. One story we want to share is when we were about to take wedding photos after a short rain shower, Lauren went outside ahead of time with paper towels to make sure any puddles that would be visible in the photos were soaked up. She really wants to make everything perfect for your day.


    Lauren was without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding. She was worth every penny!

    Thankful for Eclipse!

    I'm not sure what we would have done without Art as our coordinator! He is organized, knowledgeable, and doesn't hesitate to take action. As soon as he stepped in, I felt like the entire wedding planning process made sense and the weight was lifted off of me. I'm so thankful for him and he made our wedding day run so smoothly.     Went above and beyond!

    Cherese was our month of coordinator for our wedding in May and she did an incredible job! She was so easy to work with and made sure I was not stressed about anything! I had no plan for our send off because I originally wanted to do confetti cannons and our venue did not allow for them. Cherese quickly found an alternate option and sent me several links. I was able to have an incredible send off because of her! She is so gifted as a planner and I loved every minute of working with her!

    I hit the jackpot with Eclipse

    I can't even imagine how lost I would've been in the weeds of planning our wedding without the help of Lauren and the Eclipse team. Every time we talked, Lauren was 5 steps ahead, gently reminding me of decisions I needed to make, while keeping me from feeling overwhelmed by all the pieces that had never even crossed my mind. She became a listening ear and knew how to make me laugh when I needed both of those things. When it came to the wedding day itself, I was so relaxed and was able to just enjoy my day knowing Lauren and the team had it all under control. I can't recommend them enough.

    Lauren is a life saver!

    We were looking to hire a month of coordinator. Unfortunately we were not happy with the original one we hired and let her go 2 months into the month of… Lauren stepped in and saved the day! She was already ready to answer any questions and ensure everything was organized and ready to go. As a type a bride, I couldn’t have asked for a better planner. She even helped my mother in law with the rehearsal dinner!
    We had a lot of different requests for our wedding and she helped us make each one become a reality. I’m beyond grateful that we chose Lauren to share in our special memories!

    Hire Lauren, thank me later.

    We came to Lauren at Eclipse in early 2021 with dreams of a NYE wedding. We live in Brooklyn, but I am originally from Texas, so we wanted to have our wedding in Austin. Well, after purchasing a few wedding planning books from Amazon (they are now collecting dust on my bookshelf, in case you can’t tell where this is going), I realized there was no way we could do this on our own. I realized that even if we lived in the same city as our wedding venue, we would still be in over our heads. The logistics alone during a “normal” year would have sent me over the edge, but with the rise and fall of health concerns over the past two years, we really needed help navigating the unexpected. Enter Lauren, our new best friend and wedding guru.
    Intellectually, I realize there are no perfect people, but Lauren comes pretty darn close. She navigated contracts, listened to and interpreted our vision, offered advice (and therapy) when we felt like we were dropping balls/ getting overwhelmed, and saved our wedding more than a few times (insert covid fury and disappointment). I will refrain from mentioning all of the ups and downs (as to keep any other brides from reading horror stories), but so many things started unraveling toward our wedding date, and Lauren was so helpful and focused on making things great; I knew it would all be OK.
    You might be the most patient, organized person ever, but when it comes to your own wedding, that kind of goes out the window. While I know you can “technically” do things on your own, it is just… it’s a lot, and I don't recommend it. You will be surprised how much you need someone who can offer perspective and solutions when things don’t go as planned (and trust me, that is true for any and every wedding that has ever happened). Your friends and family will be there to help you when you are deep in your feelings, but Lauren will do all of that AND help you figure out your options and solutions, while staying calm and positive. She books insanely fast, so IF you can get her, hire her!

    Lauren was a lifesaver!

    Lauren and Eclipse Event Co were the reason our wedding day was so amazing! She helped us handle multiple reschedules due to COVID with ease, making it so much less stressful for us! She gave us suggestions on what would make the day extra special, helped us pick all our vendors and decor.

    She was on top of making sure we hit any checklist deadlines, was great at responding and following up.

    On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant handled every single detail and we literally didn't have to think about anything except enjoying our wedding day! I don't know what we would have done without her!

    If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, do it! Hiring Eclipse Event Co was the best decision we made.

    Perfect Wedding Planner

    My daughter and I worked with Lauren Chumbley in planning my daughter’s wedding. The wedding was postponed for a year due to the pandemic, so we really got to know Lauren. She was wonderful to work with, completely understood my daughter’s vision for the wedding, and went out of her way to make sure the wedding was magical. Lauren was organized and quickly responded to all our questions. We were beyond pleased with the stationer, photographer, band, and each of the vendors Lauren recommended. And best of all, on the day of the wedding, Lauren handled everything so that my daughter and I could relax and enjoy a stress-free day. Several guests commented on how smoothly everything went and how Lauren seemed to be everywhere at the same time. Thanks to Lauren, my daughter’s wedding was perfect!

    Cherese rocks

    We worked with Cherese Bishop from Eclipse and she was PERFECTION!!!! She was so on top of everything, in contact with everyone all the time, had answers to all of our questions promptly, and made our wedding day a truly magical and stress free experience. Our guests have even mentioned how amazing she was throughout the day! Her personality is amazing and she was such a friendly face to have around on the best day ever!!

    Our Daughter's Wedding

    Kristi from Eclipse Event Co. was amazing through the process of helping our daughter get through the process of al the rescheduling her wedding because of COVID.

    Their wedding was everything she was wanting it to be. Everyone has told us that it was the most spectacular wedding they ever attended. As I told Kristi, it was obvious that her relationships with her vendors has been nurtured. The vendors for their wedding were amazing. Truly an amazing evening.

    Beyond Amazing Experience!

    Amy Bay is one of the hardest working and kindest people you will ever meet. She is a huge asset to the planning process and helps her couples feel completely at ease knowing that she has everything under control.     Eclipse made planning stress free for this MOB - even in time of Covid

    I don’t know what we would have done without Stacy at Eclipse. When my daughter got engaged, I figured my daughter and I would be the main wedding planners. After all, I had experience planning big fundraisers and other major events. However, I took the sound advice from other recent MOB friends who told me a wedding planner was invaluable. Best. Advice. Ever. We were referred to Eclipse by a family friend. From the pre meeting phone call my daughter had with Stacy and the first meeting (7 months before the wedding day), Stacy instantly “got” my daughter’s vibe and helped educate us on budget and how to use it to meet our goals. She immediately started the ball rolling - I knew we made the right choice. We did Eclipse’s “The Mix” package which is in between “day of” and “full service”, and lets you customize which areas of service you want/need, which Stacy advised on as well. She led and guided us through the process, provided expertise and advice only a true pro knows and was a calm, super organized, kind presence. Behind the scenes, she sourced all of these great vendors and acted as the go between, which was especially helpful as Covid-19 hit midway through planning and we had to change course. Throughout it all, she kept all of us on track and kept us sane during this crazy process and time. Having Stacy allowed both my daughter, her fiance and I to enjoy the planning process rather than be consumed and stressed out by it. After our daughter’s ceremony, even the church coordinator said she wished every bride “had a Stacy”!! So true!

    Kristi and Lauren have an amazing, talented team at Eclipse Event Co. I have worked with nearly every planner on their staff, from huge elaborate weddings to much simpler, smaller affairs. Their professionalism, creativity and enthusiasm is consistent across the board. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding, bar mitzvah, etc. You will not be disappointed!

    Review

    If you are considering a wedding planner I cannot make it clear enough that you should choose Eclipse Event Co., and even more importantly that you DEMAND Brie Oglesby as your designated planner. I was trying to plan my Austin wedding from Seattle, and to say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. Brie put me at ease immediately on our one on one phone call. She is so kind, has great ideas,
    style and connections, and is incredibly down to earth - while working together I can truly say we became friends! Brie took my vision and worked (what felt like night and day) for a year, and truly gave me my dream wedding. She was always available to me for big and small questions, I swear she’s attached to her computer at all times, and would even tell me to text her if anything felt urgent. I never felt like I was competing with her other clients for her attention or time, and felt like she was as excited about every little detail as I was. Brie made every single stage of the planning process so simple for me, giving me options to choose from and setting up my calls with vendors - she seriously made everything so easy. And this girl went to bat for me and my budget, getting us discounts any chance she could. I never felt pressured by her to increase our budget, instead she kept me on track with what was most important to me on that day and focused on stretching every last dime to work for us. On the day of she was there with her assistant and WAS A DREAM! She took care of all the day of details, had our rambunctious wedding party where they needed to be when they needed to be there, and took all responsibility off of our families shoulders so we could live in the moment and enjoy the best day ever. I am so incredibly thankful that I was lucky enough to have Brie work on my wedding with me, it was everything my husband and I could of ever asked for and is truly thanks to all of the time, effort, and attention Brie gave us. I can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

    I got married almost 2 years ago and am just now getting around to writing my review. Disregarding my EXTREME tardiness, I would like to think this is a true testament to how wonderful a job Eclipse Event Company and in particular my assigned wedding planner Kristi DePew did at making my wedding day one for the books. Kristi and I worked so well together, I could not have asked for a better planner. She was always organized and extremely accommodating when I took on an 80 hour work week job in the 6 months leading up to the big day. I am so fortunate I had her to bring the visions of my wedding day to life, and to try her darndest to incorporate even the last minute requests I made for things I wanted including in the wedding and reception. In my heart of hearts I hope to one day have a vow renewal of some kind (one wedding day just isn't enough haha!) and would love to have Kristi and her team by my side again then.     We got to enjoy our WHOLE day!

    We knew we were hiring a wedding planner, we just didn’t know we would hit the jackpot. I truly wish I could put into words how wonderful Loren was with me and Felipe. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to postpone our wedding by almost a whole year only a month out from our original date (yeah, you read that right). Loren was kind, understanding and never stopped supporting us. She continued this support and planning throughout our entire process. Loren created a real “safe space” where no idea was too much but all ideas were met with realistic expectations and a plan for follow through. It was amazing. She not only kept up with me but more often than not, Loren beat me to it and that is no easy feat! She thought of everything x1000 and I have no idea what went on day-of because I stopped paying attention to anything around 2pm day of and just enjoyed every second of it. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Even when it started thundering, Loren kept her cool, moved EVERYTHING up and it was even more incredible. She dealt with family, friends, vendors, and ME with ease. She is so patient and creative. All my ladies kept mentioning how she was such a perfect mix of kind and firm. Loren, you were made for this. I wish I could hire you for everything all the time. THANK YOU.

    If you want a smooth wedding, use Eclipse

    If you are sitting here reading reviews on the fence on whether or not to book Eclipse Event Co for your wedding, please, do yourself a favor and book them! I was hesitant paying for a planner at first, but once we got down to the month of the wedding, Tessa swooped in and took care of everything for us. From coordinating with all of our vendors, to answering silly questions we had about the little things, she was there for us. The day of the wedding felt so carefree and calm, all because Tessa was running around all afternoon making sure everything was absolutely perfect. After the wedding, both my wife and I both agreed that having Eclipse coordinate our wedding day was probably the vendor that was most worth the money!

    I want to get married again because of Tessa!

    If you have an opportunity to work with Tessa Johnson at the Austin location, snag her up! You guys can't believe the work this woman has done for me and my husband. She wasn't just a wedding planner, she literally was a God send. She made sure all my crazy requests were done, she responded so fast to everything and kept me up to date of everything. I have a stressful job and 3 step daughters and she made this the least stressful thing in my life. All the vendors she hired were on point and affordable. I can't tell you enough how much I'm going to miss working with her. I want to get married all over again just to work with her. She's the best.

    Eclipse is a life saver!

    I could absolutely not have done it (you know...have a wedding) without Lauren Chumbley and the Eclipse team! They did it all...and much better than I could have! The thing about weddings is that something WILL go wrong. It's inevitable with all the moving pieces. Whether it's a vendor that's late or a server that doesn't know what they're doing or a missing family member moments before your ceremony, Eclipse can (and did) handle it! I'm so happy we worked with Lauren, not only for the day of, but also during the many months leading up to the wedding. I now consider her a friend after spending so much time together! Do yourself a favor and reach out to Eclipse, even if you're not sure about using a wedding planner. You absolutely won't regret it!

    Tessa was an amazing wedding coordinator! I don't know what I would have done without her! We don't live in the area so it was super helpful to have her suggestions and expertise especially when it came to local vendors. She was so organized and efficient.     Tessa managed a wedding at our venue, Moriah, last weekend and I was super impressed with the job she did. She created one of the most detailed, helpful timelines I've seen in the 15 years we've held weddings at Moriah.     This is a company that showed true professionalism from start to finish! I came into contact with this fantastic team as their back up florists! I had a week to put everything together and I could not of done it without Loren! She’s amazing! Wise beyond her years that’s for sure. All my interaction with her was via phone, text and email. She’s a go getter, a fix it all woman and a sweetheart! Imagine the pressure of no florist on the Monday before the wedding. Seriously just imagine that! We all were under so much stress and she kept her cool every step of the way. She kept me informed and helped me navigate all the details of what turned out to be a beautiful and stunning wedding. When I finally met her in person it was like meeting a family member you have t seen in a while. We became instant sisters (my much younger sister;) and made it all happen. Keep in mind she not only had me to guide through all this, but all the other vendors and of course the most important person The Bride. Everything was just flawless. I’m dying to work with her and the rest of the team again. If you’re looking for true professionals that know exactly what they are doing, look no further.     We were so pleased with Eclipse and our event manager, Kimberly. One of our goals was to really enjoy the wedding week end. With Kimberly and her team there, we were so relaxed. Once she had her amazing timeline and complete, Kimberly just took over. My daughter and I had such a fun wedding day.     What an amazing experience it was working with Kristi and Eclipse Event Co! If you're looking for a wedding planner in the Austin area, look no further!

    I found Kristi and Eclipse Event Co via The Knot and called to chat before booking. We clicked with Kristi and went with the full package! Kristi was able to help us with everything!

    We discussed our ideas on wedding venues and Kristi sent a write-up on several vendors including general comments, website info, and pictures. We eliminated some that we're quite our style and she sent another set. From there we were able to pick several to go visit. Kristi set up everything and from the second that we walked into our wedding venue, we knew it was for us.

    Kristi was just phenomenal as our planning continued. She knew exactly what caterer would fit our wants (and it was AMAZING), helped us coordinate two cake tastings, got us set up with the DJ, found us an amazing florist, a wonderful photographer, and set me up with awesome hair and makeup.

    I should mention that we were engaged for a year and half, and Kristi was there to help us through that ENTIRE TIME! It was great! So all of those big things came together early and then we had a bit of time to chill.

    As the day approached, one absolutely amazing thing Kristi did was send out the timeline for the day. It was actually for the entire wedding we, listing even when my husband and I would arrive and depart Austin, and detailing every bit of the events (ring hand-off, favors, putting out and then collecting the personal items we used to decorate the venue, etc.). I knew I could relax and let her take care of everything!

    Our big day came and it went so smoothly and that is all due to Kristi and her amazing contacts that worked together to make a beautiful wedding! Kristi even got down on

    A planner is the BEST decision I have ever made in regards to our Wedding! Tessa helped me make timelines, layouts, and spoke with all of my vendors for me. It was such a weight off of my shoulders. Without her I would have been lost day of. She made sure everything ran smoothly, fixed any problems that arised, made sure I got to taste both cakes (when they were disappearing quickly), and made sure I stayed on time and the schedule (I love my schedules).     I couldn't have better things to say about working with Kristi Depew and her team. Throughout the planning process, Kristi was attentive, organized and resourceful.
    Kristi helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my wife on track for our big day. She took the reins on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants (and little ones!) knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable throughout.
    On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Kristi and her team were on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we picked Kristi to help us throughout our wedding planning.

    I debated whether or not to hire a wedding planner or use the planner that our venue provided. We ultimately made the decision to hire Kimberly from Eclipse Event Co and it was the best decision I probably made during the entire wedding planning process. I am a perfectionist and was nervous about leaving the day-of details to anyone else but myself. Kimberly executed my vision perfectly, and I was able to enjoy the day and just be a bride.     Eclipse Event Co came recommended to me by the American Express Platinum Concierge and what an amazing, quality recommendation it was!!!! Three key differentiating qualities:

    First, experience. The Eclipse team, especially Lauren, have a tremendous amount of experience. Lauren’s experience (and patience) saved me from a number of decisions that at the time seemed better economically but ultimately would have caused headache.

    Second, local knowledge and resourcefulness. I had wanted a wedding that fused my Chinese culture with my husband’s American traditions. Lauren gave me lots of possibilities but the one that made an impression was her suggestion of a traditional Chinese Lion Dance. She told me she was able to source dancers from the local UT student group! Lauren really leverages her local expertise to come up with creative options for her brides.

    Third, willingness to take on tasks hands on. The last few days before the wedding, Lauren and I did a last walk through with my caterer and we were each bitten 10 times by mosquitos within minutes of stepping on to the ceremony grounds. Worse, we discovered that the venue would be unable to be sprayed before my wedding day. I was really alarmed, to put it gently. Lauren ended up taking it upon herself to spray the venue with a residential insect fogger the morning of the wedding. It was so good of her!

    I’d strongly recommend Eclipse Event Co and Lauren for any Austin bride.

    My daughter lives in Austin and that is where I wanted the wedding. She had different ideas and she is having it in Colorado. However, when we thought it would be in Austin I purchased some hours from Eclipse. Lauren and Lily were wonderful. They were responsive and understood what we wanted. They found venues that should have worked, but daughter was stubborn and wanted Colorado. If we had the wedding in Austin I know Eclipse would have been great. I am actually sorry I can't use them.     Hiring Eclipse was by far the best decision I made in my wedding planning process! Working with Rebecca was absolutely wonderful.     I just wanted to leave a review for Eclipse, particularly my month-of coordinator, Sara Abrams. I completely believe that my wedding would be completely different without her. She went above-and-beyond in terms of helping me select a new venue when my first one fell through. Not only that, the new venue (Olive & June) was perfect--the right setting and the food was incredible.

    Wedding planning was very stressful but Sara helped me get through it especially during that clutch last month. She really knows Austin vendors and she provided help, guidance, and (a helpful nudge or two) to keep things going. Most of all, she was super fun to work with.

    Thanks, Sara, for making our weekend so special. We'll never forget it!

    I am from California and used this company to plan a wedding in Austin, Tx. My daughter decided in March 2017 to marry there in May 2017. This company is amazing! They all work together to help each other out and they get back to you so quickly. I was considering hiring another company but their response time just took to long. I needed to make decisions quick and have somebody who would work with me the same way. Rebecca Inderhees was assigned to us, she was such a jewel! She recommended vendors but was never offended if we used someone else. She never pressured us to do things her way like some event planners do. She completely let us have our vision and made it all work in such a short time and helped with budgeting by constantly updating our spread sheet & sending us new revisions. The day of the wedding, she worked relentlessly in the heat but never complained and handled any bumps in the road that evening like a pro. She and the company are amazing. I highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding in Texas!

    Planning a wedding is hard. When you have anxiety it can feel impossible. Thank goodness for Lauren and the ladies at Eclipse Events! Lauren made the impossible happen! She went above and beyond her work duties and made my wedding dreams come true! Not one detail was left out. My friends and family were so impressed with how organized everything was. I literally don't think we could have pulled off our fun, funky outdoors wedding without Lauren and her team. THANK YOU ECLIPSE

    If you are thinking about whether or not to hire a wedding planner, you absolutely should- I personally think it is the best decision we ever made and worth the money many times over. Once you make this decision, you should absolutely go with Eclipse Event Co. Lauren was INCREDIBLE. We were planning our destination wedding from Chicago and were not even 100% set on Austin. We flew in for 3 days and in that time Lauren setup multiple interviews with photographers, wedding venue tours and rehearsal dinner options. Lauren helped to guide our decisions throughout the process by listening and providing feedback and options, but always allowed us to figure out what we wanted. This is a true talent as I am a terrible decision maker. She balanced the needs of both me and my husband as well as my parents and in-laws. Lauren kept us on track with decision that needed to be made, our budget and payments. She also recommended some truly amazing vendors that I would not have otherwise found. She actually ended up saving us money in so many areas of our wedding by finding vendors in our budget and even telling us when to rent linens to get 50% off. She was amazing throughout the wedding process and became a good friend in that year.

    On the day of the wedding Lauren was a godsend. She and her team took care of all communication with vendor, setup of the venue, including all of my homemade signs and pictures. They dealt with any hiccups that came up, in fact I never even knew about the hiccups until after the wedding. She ran the show seamlessly without ever seeming bossy or demanding, which was a feat with a 18 person wedding party. She even helped sew my dress together when it ripped on the dance floor. And her and her team packed up all sign, pictures and leftover alcohol at the end of the night, even returning coolers from the buses home. I was able to truly enjoy the whole day. I am really going to miss working with Lauren

    I officiate 40-45 wedding ceremonies a year. This gives me a great insight into how event wedding planners work. Lauren and her team were outstanding in all they did for a recent wedding I officiated. Their organizational skills, professionalism, and politeness with the wedding party, guests, and vendors was outstanding. When my own daughter gets married, I would be delighted if Lauren and her team work with her. If you are looking for someone to take the pressure of you and exceed expectations, I highly recommend Eclipse Event Co.

    When I think back on our big day, one of the first words that comes to mind is easy. This was totally possible thanks to Rebecca and Lauren—they were so professional, organized, personable, AND fun. I cannot recommend them enough.

    From helping us think through granular logistics to finding the best e) vendors, their services were so comprehensive, thorough, and reasonably priced! This is the absolutely perfect service for those brides and grooms that are busy with life/work and are in need of meticulous planners!

    Kristi with Eclipse Event Co. is a wonderful planner to work with!     I would highly recommend using Lauren Chumbley and Eclipse Event Co. to plan the most important day of your life. I actually have some major regret that I did not hire them to plan throughout the entire process. I was very adamant about planning a portion of the wedding myself and then bringing someone in, and if I could do it all over again I totally would!

    Lauren was a referral of a referral and I couldn't be more happy that the other referral did not work out. From the get go, Lauren heard me out about my wedding ideas and helped to take my vision and wishes to create the wedding of my dreams. I also have to give her some major credit, seeing as she was dealing with a controlling bride who thought she was a planner herself :) Lauren is VERY patient and organized which any bride will appreciate and also very resourceful might I add. Probably my favorite thing about working with Lauren was how available she made herself to me at all times. Whether it was a wedding vendor meeting, a text or a phone call, I knew she was reachable.

    We did 1-2 walkthroughs of the wedding reception venue leading up to the day but I honesty feel like we would have been fine just doing one. Lauren made note of everything I told her and this showed when everything was executed flawlessly at our ceremony and reception. You can't go wrong with choosing Eclipse Event Co to plan your wedding day! I know my husband and I will forever be grateful to Lauren and her staff for making our big day extra special and perfect.

    Lauren was a life saver. She was professional, friendly, and responsive. Lauren took great care in ensuring the stress of wedding planning was not on our shoulders. She was always a text, phone call, or email away when we needed anything.

    A million Stars for Kristi and her team. I was completely at ease heading into our wedding weekend thanks to EEC's expertise. We did the "month of" planning and coordination services. I HIGHLY recommend this approach. Kristi was fully connected with all of our wedding weekend festivities and vendors by the time our big day came. They we true professionals and everything went flawlessly.... except the busses/bus drivers we hired that sucked, but there was nothing EEC could have done differently there!! I picked them and they were amateurs. I'm also and out-of-town bride - I live in Chicago and the wedding was in Austin. Have Kristi as my feet, hands, eyes and ears in Austin was awesome. Best weekend of my life - thanks Kristi!

    Lauren is incredibly knowledgeable about wedding & event planning; and she has an abundance of connections with vendors and venues all around the Austin area. The entire planning process overwhelmed us from the beginning, so she was a tremendous help to us while we planned our wedding.     We were extremely lucky to find Eclipse Event Co. Lauren was recommended to us by a coworker and from our first meeting we knew she was going to be the perfect fit for us. We hate making decisions and we honestly needed Lauren to guide us in almost every decision we made. I'm not sure if that makes Lauren's job harder or easier but she really knocked this one out of the park. She always knew what to do, who to call or how to get something done. Every single detail of our wedding came from Lauren. She recommended every vendor and working with Laurent meant that we got a few small discounts along the way since she referred us. Lauren helped us find the venue, the cake, the wedding invitations, the photographer, the florist and even the perfect alterations woman. If you have any event that you need help planning call Lauren. She has lived in Austin for around 10 years and came from San Antonio before that. She is very familiar with the area and has so many connections she will get you a perfect party.

    Kristi & Co were absolutely fantastic to work with. We enlisted their services on mega short notice (the week of the wedding!), though I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that! That being said, they were quite responsive, professional, courteous and great to work with. My wife and I didn't even know "day-of wedding coordination" was a thing, but we're sure glad we heard about this concept when we did! We enlisted Kristi and Rebecca to help make sure all of the day-of details went smoothly and boy did they deliver! It's just great for your peace of mind to be able to hand all the nitpicky little details to real pros who just handle all the hiccups without any issue. They were very communicative and asked a TON of questions we hadn't even considered. Well worth the money spent.

    My husband and I highly recommend Lauren from Eclipse Event Co. We could not have survived our wedding day without her guidance and support! Lauren pays close attention to details and has wonderful communication skills. Both sides of the family felt like they had known her for years and were amazed at how smoothly our special day went. From the start of our reception we felt as if we did not have to worry about a thing, even the smallest of details. Lauren understood exactly what we envisioned for each special moment and catered to everything. From being a mediator between the DJ, Caterer, Security, and Bartender, to keeping us on schedule so that we could experience everything we wanted - Lauren was there!     As soon as I was engaged, I knew I wanted Lauren to help plan my wedding. Lauren wasn't just our wedding planner she is also our friend. Plus, Lauren's wedding was GORGEOUS! We lived in Chicago while planning our Austin wedding, so we couldn't be physically present for everything. Lauren instantly connected with my parents. Her warm and caring personality made them comfortable and they trusted her.

    Lauren's knowledge on Austin venues, florist, rental companies, bakeries, etc... is superb. She has the right connections and can suggest just about anything to meet budget needs. My favorite thing was monitoring the budget spreadsheet she created. Having something visual to look at definitely helped living so far away. The entire planning process was a breeze.

    The rehearsal and day of the wedding everyone definitely knew who the wedding planner was. She contacted our wedding party prior to the big event and took charge day of. She was direct, but approachable. If something went wrong those two days, we had no idea. She made my mom feel special which really made all the difference.

    If I had one regret, I would have chosen from the list of Lauren's photography and entertainment services. I was a little too controlling on what photographer and entertainment I thought we needed. Planners never suggest a poor business!!

    Professional and Organized Day-of Wedding Coordinator

    I worked with Lauren a few years ago for my own wedding. I only wanted someone to coordinate everything on the actual day and Lauren delivered! Due to some changes, I didn't bring Lauren on until the week of the wedding. She quickly came up with a schedule, contacted all of my vendors and organized everything for me. I have sent her detailed schedule to other brides that have not had a wedding coordinator...it has been extremely helpful! She was professional and experienced in handling anything that came up. She reached out after the wedding to make sure I got everything I left at the reception (cake topper, etc). I am sure Lauren went above and beyond her job duties! I am so thankful for her hard work and organization that made my wedding run smoothly! I would recommend her to anyone planning an event!

    I had the pleasure of working an event with Lauren & Kristi with Eclipse, and they were amazing! I work with a lot of planners as a fellow vendor, and oftentimes I come across planners who are too inexperienced and in over their heads. This was not the case with the two of them and they were planning HUGE industry-wide Gala managing about 30 different vendors and close to 200 guests. If they took care of this serious event with ease, working a wedding with them would be a cinch and I'd look forward to that opportunity!

    Lauren was a such a joy to work with! Aside from her going above and beyond my expectations for my wedding day, she was very responsive and flexible! I must have changed my mind on details, décor, and numbers 20 times, yet she never complained, and always had a smile on her face ready to assist. She had wonderful creative ideas, and really GOT ME!     Lauren was remarkable. She was very pregnant with her adorable twins during the process of planning our wedding but that did not stop her in the least bit from going above and beyond her call of duty on every step of the way in planning and managing our Indian wedding at the Children's museum - it was a non-standard venue and involved many challenges, and without Lauren's tireless efforts and meticulous organization, it would've been impossible to pull off so well. Everyone loved everything and it was truly a success.

On the day of the wedding any vendor issues such as hotel transportation were dealt with immediately and professionally. Eclipse events had a superior listing of contacts and vendors which provided us ample choices to meet all our wedding requirements. We might advise that in the early stages of planning that the wedding couple be very involved and request details for all bids, quotes, and budgets to ensure nothing is forgotten.

    Good experience with a few caveats

    We had a complex vision for our wedding, and it came together with Eclipse. Amy Bay was our primary coordinator. For months she helped us focus our efforts and keep track of our progress.

    We knew it might be tricky to find vendors to support our eco-friendly goals and go along with our creative quirks. At times we weren’t sure Amy was catching our vision. For example, we said *multiple times* that we didn’t want fresh flowers (love flowers, just didn’t want the non-eco friendly aspects). I also shared a fairly filled-out Pinterest board with our colors and décor ideas, and I was excited to see the vision board Amy created for us. We were therefore both confused that the vision board she offered us was covered in traditional florals and looked very little like the Pinterest I’d shared. However, she and the Eclipse team were open to our feedback, which we appreciated, and they pivoted to incorporate more of our goals.

    One other issue: We both felt passionately about reducing waste at the wedding and several times requested a waste management meeting prior to the event (we’ve both coordinated teams and understand the importance of extra training in this area). This didn’t happen, and I ended up getting messages and questions about this on the morning of the wedding. The team was able to sort much of the items and donated leftover food to Keep Austin Fed (Lauren Chumbley’s idea!), for which we are so grateful. However, we ended up with tons of opened and unopened items that we had to throw away since they hadn’t been properly managed. We’re thrilled the coordination and catering teams did what they could to reduce the waste, and we encourage other couples to request this as well! Just make sure to have a plan and insist on everyone knowing about it.

    Notwithstanding these bumps in the road, on the day of our wedding, Amy and her team (Jesse, Chantale, and Jenn, with special help from Lauren Chumbley) were dedicated and helped our big day run smoothly. They took boxes of décor (including lovely secondhand dried flowers) and created something beautiful in the reception hall. Amy “was a lifesaver” to a guest who was having an allergic reaction. Her team helped keep the multiple events (two cocktail hours and a Scottish/Irish music & dance hour, in addition to dinner and dancing) flowing. The result was a beautiful, joyous occasion for us and our 230 guests. Thank you to Amy, Lauren, Jesse, Chantale, and Jenn for everything.

    Working with Amy Bay

    I hired Amy Bay from Eclipse for their "The Works" package, expecting a high level of service for the price. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.

    Amy provided minimal input on creative ideas for our wedding. The only suggestion she made was a mirror seating chart, which we used. Everything else—from wedding favors and place cards to unique touches like the wedding newspaper—was either my own idea or something I worked on with family and friends. Even when I asked for help finding a guest sign-in book, all she did was send me a link to a generic Etsy search page for "wedding guest book."

    Communication was another major issue. I often had to wait a week or more for a response to emails or texts. While I understand she has other clients, a simple acknowledgment that she received my message would have gone a long way.

    Our final guest count was 100, as outlined in our agreement, which only required one assistant. However, Amy repeatedly pushed to keep two assistants, which felt unnecessary and like she was trying to avoid putting in the effort.

    Overall, the lack of initiative, poor communication, and sense of laziness left me disappointed. While I've heard good things about other planners at Eclipse, I cannot recommend Amy Bay.
    If you're looking for someone to truly help you plan your wedding go with anyone else at Eclipse, otherwise, you'll likely end up doing most of it yourself, as I did.

    Stay Away- not a good experience

    We had a very negative experience with this vendor. I hired them for our wedding and they did a very bad job planning. I would not use this company.

    Did not help us save time or stress planning

    Our one regret from our wedding is choosing Kristi from Eclipse Event Co as our coordinator. This review is meant to help anyone who may be on the fence.

    We paid for her top tier package after being referred by a friend. We decided that if we could trust someone to help save us time planning and work hard to make sure that the details were how we envisioned, then this would be a good investment for us. Ultimately, that wasn't our experience, here are some examples:

    Lack of time/stress saving:
    We had a 1.5 year engagement period, because we wanted to plan the wedding spread out over time & avoid last minute stress. We communicated this at booking. In the first year, we barely heard from her. She didn't do any design work for us. Ultimately we had to design every detail. ~6 months before the wedding, we had to bring in the bride’s mother to get Kristi on track and planning/ reaching out to vendors. The week before so much was still not done that we had to take off work & have family come in town to help label all the decor & make detailed layouts of where everything would go (despite this, she still put decor in the wrong spots day of). We also ended up being the ones to send the timeline out to vendors 3 days before the wedding because she hadn’t done it.

    Gaslighting:
    Throughout the process, we would explicitly say “we want X” or “__ is important to us.” But the next time these requests came up, she would claim that she was hearing it for the first time. This was an issue that happened too many times and in the presence of other people who remembered us saying this before.

    Lying/ poor vendor selection:
    We had a specific vision and budget in mind for floral. She wanted us to meet with a florist right next to her office (1hr drive). The florist was not within our budget. We were annoyed that we wasted time with a vendor we couldn’t afford, but asked her to find quotes from other florists that would be within our budget. She told us that “no one in Austin can do this less expensively” and we should go with her preferred vendor. That wasn’t true. The florist we ended up using did a phenomenal job for thousands less. This pattern of recommending vendors convenient for her but not us repeated. We ended up having to find our own DJ, Strings, lounge set, napkins, chargers, photography, videography, candelabras, stationary, signage, hair & makeup etc.

    Ruining special moments:
    One of our most special moments for our wedding was supposed to be a private dinner away from everyone. We made it clear that after such an overwhelming thing as our ceremony, we wanted uninterrupted 30 min of alone time together to let it soak in that we got married. We told her no one was to interrupt us. 10 minutes into our dinner she came into our private space because it was “too hot outside and [she] needed A/C,” she stayed for about 10 min, taking that special time away from us.

    Attention to detail:
    From our initial call and on nearly every call after that, we emphasized the importance of having our linens steamed (bride’s biggest pet peeve). She kept saying that she’d “make a note of it”. But, when we brought up steaming the linens the week before the wedding, she told us that there wasn’t enough time to steam them day of and if we wanted it done we’d have to pay her more money on top of what we had already paid for her to bring a 3rd assistant to our wedding. We wished that she has mentioned this earlier, but ultimately decided to pay the fee for the 3rd assistant because it was important to us. You can imagine how upset we were on the day of the wedding when we realized the linens were never steamed.

    There are many more examples:
    -Didn't show in person to our final walk through
    -Didn’t move the chairs inside the chapel for older guests
    -Didn’t direct family to correct seats for ceremony
    -Moved strings to wrong spot
    -Didn’t have the HMU team come down to photos after we paid extra for that service
    -Almost ruined our first dance
    -Made no announcement about special features of wedding (photo lounge area, typewriter guest book, phone to leave us messages at cocktail hour, etc.)

    This list goes on and on, but you get it. We are very sad and disappointed with this.

    Avoid at all costs

    This wedding was planned by her mother who professionally runs large events all over the U.S. The bride and mother decided to hire a Day-Of coordinator to help alleviate the stress on day of since they had everything planned so perfectly down to every little detail. They decided coordinator Amy Bay. I am absolutely disgusted with the professionalism, execution, and attitude that Amy Bay and her assistant (That never introduced herself) had. Amy complained constantly to the bride of the start time of rehearsal, claiming that everyone would be late. Come day of, the entire party is early, but who is late? Amy Bay. She barely instructed is at all and had no planned, told us to just walk down and walk back. Then she disappears. A few hours go by and around 1pm or so she texts the bride, when she had specific instructions to contact mother, MOH, or literally anyone else on the day. She asked the bride, “Is the ballroom decorated yet?” To which bride response “that is your job to know”. If she would have actually read the EXTREMELY detailed timeline provided to her, which she forwarded out to the bridal party, she would have known at that moment the bride was getting her hair and make up done. Photos were to start at 2:30. Still no sign of Amy Bay or her “assistant”. Still nowhere to be found. After we are done with photos I have a bridesmaid come up to me and say that she say the coordinator sitting down and doing nothing when the ballroom looked nothing like the instruction she was given on the morning. I head up where Amy and her assistant were just standing by a table, it’s 4pm now, the wedding starts at 5. No tables in the cocktail area had been set up. The table cloths were thrown on and not straight or tucked m. She failed to hand out the wedding programs, they were no where to be seen, she failed to block the isle off so when the wedding party walked we had to be very careful of bumps that others created. She set out the bridal portrait before the ceremony so every guest coming in saw her dress before hand. She did not guide anyone to the sign in book. Majority of guests missed it. As we were heading inside for dinner, we noticed that some name tags were put in the incorrect spot. She had a diagram to follow,
    . When the head table was dismissed to be first for dinner, the assistant got in line with us… again, very unprofessional and awkward. At one point the bride tried to look for her to ask for the air to be turned down and she was eating and only responded with “I’m eating” and was dismissed. For remainder the reception her and her assistant hid in the ceremony room. She was not properly prepared for any situation. A guest broke the strap to her shoe and she gave them TAPE to tape their foot on it! A bridesmaid needed her dress to be pinned up and just stood there handing me pins while I got down and did it. I broke the back straps to my dress while dancing and she offered me a zip tie… had no needle and thread. No additional buttons. The PHOTOGRAPHER ended up coming in and pinning my dress on for me. I don’t know if she just assumed this would be an day where she could do no work and get paid an astronomical amount of money for the day. She also charged the most out of any vendor for rescheduling. This associate is an embarrassment to the company. I truly hope the company addresses the poor performance and lack of professionalism. I will be encouraging any future brides to seek another company.
