Hiring Cherish was the best decision we made while planning our wedding! We live in Massachusetts & had a destination wedding planned for 75 guests all from out of town. We had originally booked a venue that never reopened after the hurricanes and were in a scramble to try and find another venue we loved as much. Cherish went above and beyond and secured us the most perfect location for our celebration! We ended up at the Sirata Beach Resort. Cherish & the function manager Kelli Love created the most beautiful, perfect celebration we could have ever hoped for. Thank you Cherish we had the time of our lives!! -

If you are planning a wedding in the St. Pete beach area, you must use this group! Cherish especially is incredible, so knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with… we would have been LOST without her! All vendors were top notch! If we did it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing! -

After having to rebook my wedding to a new venue in a short notice after my original venue cancelled on us due to damages from the hurricane, I was connected to Cherish as my day of coordinator at my new venue, the Sirata Beach Resort. From the moment we spoke to Cherish, she was hands on and determined to help us re plan our wedding. I was heartbroken having to let go of my original venue but once Cherish stepped in, I was confident that our vision would turn into something even better. From consistent communication, changing around her schedule to meet up with us every time we were in town, to awesome recommendations for vendors in the area ...Cherish remained professional and genuinely cared about making our dreams come true. We can't thank her enough. Day of, Cherish made sure to have our reception room decorated the way we envisioned. I had a lot of decorations that I brought and very specific instructions on how I wanted everything displayed and she did it perfectly. I never had a doubt with her. During the reception she was very attentive to both me and my groom but also our parents which was really appreciated. My mother has dietary restrictions and my father has mobility challenges and she made sure they were well taken care of. She ran our timeline smoothly and allowed me and my groom to fully enjoy our night without having to think about anything but having fun celebrating our marriage. Cherish got the job done and I will always be grateful!!!! -

Cherish was Excellent
Cherish made my daughter's wedding everything she wanted. We were all from out of town and she handled every detail for us. And made sure every thing was on time and every detail was perfect for the wedding. -

Tori Elkington was THE BEST wedding coordinator I could have ever asked for! She made it her mission to make my wedding day the most special day possible for me and my now husband. If there was anyone who bent over backwards for me, it was Tori. She showed us that she is truly committed to her job and her brides. Tori made my day as special as she wanted her own wedding. Tori, Julie Manes and Maria Slater were the most helpful in answering the million questions I had. All of them got back to me right away when I needed a question answered. I am blessed to have had such a solid group of staff to work with from both Driftwood and TradeWinds. I really couldn't have had or asked for a better experience. Wedding planning doesn't have to be stressful when you have such an amazing group of people who have your back and are there to help you every step of the way. Tori and the rest of the staff I worked with have a lifelong impact on me and my husband for the rest of our lives. We were truly blessed ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend Driftwood to any person looking for an expert in wedding planning and events. -

Wow - where can I begin? Jason and I got married on June 8, 2019 at the Sandbar Restaurant in Anna Maria Island. Expert productions took care of our lighting, dj, coordination, photography, videography, steel drum, ukulele, officiant and so much more. Right from the beginning of the wedding planning process I spoke with Tori and Sydni to get everything straightened out with what we wanted. The website makes it very easy to see what kind of services they offer, and they are EXCELLENT at communication. They responded to every single one of my requests often within half of a day. Just talking with them it eases a lot of stress as a Bride who didn't hardly know what direction to turn. I shortly after met Carrie, our coordinator. Carrie was a God sent. She truly cared so much for everything that we wanted and made sure everything was executed perfectly. She made sure to make copies of the wedding day itinerary for the bridal party, so people would not have to ask us when they needed to be where and what to do. She was so amazing with texting me and calling me weeks leading up to the wedding. She took the time to make sure all of the small details were in place. She was a huge part of making the day successful and I could not be any more grateful. Next, we met our wedding photographer, Tina, who is a true gem. She contacted me before the wedding and we talked about picture ideas and where to be. She was so sweet to all of the guests and made it so natural for everyone to get their pictures taken. Jason and I were truly in the moment with her and it was an amazing experience. Pam did an excellent job capturing all of the moments with videography. She was so sweet and all the girls working together the day of the wedding to make it amazing did not go unnoticed. DJ Josh was AWESOME! He literally had everyone jumping up and down dancing to every single song. Not a second of music time was wasted. He played all our requests and matched his style to ours perfectly. Jessica, our ukulele and steel drum player was also awesome! All of our guests commented on how cool of a touch both items added to our big day. Tori did such an outstanding job officiating our wedding. She never missed a beat. She was just as comfortable with us as some of our friends we have known for years. She gave us so many choices and was able to incorporate them all into the ceremony. Truly a magical moment for us. Our guests were raving to us all evening how smooth everything was going… that doesn't just happen on its own. I guess what I'm saying is, if you took the time to read this review, I would recommend expert productions 100/100 times to anyone. They are so professional, so fun, and coordinate your wedding day for a seamlessly perfect day. -

You are in good hands if you have the pleasure of working with Driftwood Weddings and Events. Cherish was my main point of contact leading up to our wedding day and that lady knows her stuff. They were highly organized and seriously helpful in keeping me on track. Planning a wedding for nearly 200 people is some legit work, and for a procrastinator (guilty as charged) with a demanding full time job, she was my absolute savior more than once during the planning process. When trying to save money in certain areas, Cherish gave me some brilliant tips and ideas. This woman is an ABSOLUTE ROCK STAR, not to mention a pleasure to chat with. I live a few hours from the venue so we never met in person until the day of, but I felt like I had already known her for ages.
Carrie was our backup coordinator and was also a total boss in the best kind of way. She ran our reception and it went fantastic! Our ceremony was on the beach and it was a bit of a walk to where the first row of chairs began. Carrie spent some time with our 3 darling flower girls and even walked them to just before the chairs began. This made the girls feel SO MUCH better, and the moms were so thankful too.
In summary, Driftwood does a beautiful job through and through. Every bride should enjoy their wedding day. I sure as hell did, and I owe a sincere piece of that to Cherish and Carrie. Thank you ladies!!!! -

Tori was an absolute joy to work with! My husband and I were planning our wedding from a different state, so to have Tori working with us to ease our minds was great! She provided us with so much support throughout the planning process and her personality is just so pleasant and wonderful! To me, working with someone who loves their job and is so happy to work with you is so important! I knew she was going to be a great fit for us since the consultation! She made sure our reception, ceremony, and cocktail site were done as I had envisioned! When I saw the reception site, it almost looked like I had set it up myself! Thank you so much Tori for everything that you have done for Gene and I and I am so thankful to have you help and partake in our special day! -

I don't even know where to begin...Cherish from Driftwood is beyond amazing! Planning a destination wedding was quite the task but Cherish made the process seamless. She asked questions about things I never even thought of (and I thought long and hard about everything...I'm a hardcore overthinker)! She knew the ins and outs of everything weddings and there was not a detail she missed. She solved every little problem I had leading up to our big day. My main goal was to have a beach wedding with a beautiful arch...and Cherish was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen. HOWEVER, mother nature had a different plan. The weather on our wedding day was awful...rain, extreme winds, not a sight of sun, and FREEZING. Cherish was still willing to make this work outside since she knew that's what I really wanted. Thirty minutes before our wedding was to begin, I walked outside and realized how awful a beach wedding was going to be not only for me in a backless dress, but also for our guests. I called Cherish with that short of notice and that's when I realized Cherish is a true miracle worker...she moved my entire wedding inside in 30 minutes but not before making sure that it was what I truly wanted to do (and that it wasn't someone else making me think I had to). Obviously I was freaking out not knowing what I was about to walk into (I'm a control freak) as I walked down the aisle...but WOW it was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Not a single detail was overlooked in that 30 minutes she had to move everything from one corner of Tradewinds property to another. My bridesmaid said it best..."this lady is like the fairy godmother of weddings...I need her in my life!" I will never be able to thank Cherish enough...she truly made my dream wedding a reality! -
Dale Sent on 09/18/2018My husband and I renewed our vows for our 25th Anniversary with Driftwood and they did an amazing job, we could not have asked for a better celebration. They made sure everything was just as we wanted it and it was perfect. We highly recommend using them for your special event, you don’t be sorry.

Bree Sent on 04/25/2018If I could rate them higher than 5, I would. Cherish and Tori (paired with Julie and Maria at Tradewinds) were my absolute dream team. Thanks to them, I had a fairytale wedding on April 14th. Any obstacle or limitation was overcome with ease. Communication was outstanding. Their vision, recommendations and assistance were second to none. This was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process... I just wish I had hired them sooner! Their passion and dedication to this craft is a must have for any bride... and I would also recommend upgrading to the pamper service. Just do it. It’s worth it I promise ❤️
