Dream Day Events Made Our Daughter’s Wedding Truly a Dream Come True
If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner—do it, and hire Dream Day Events! My daughter and I recently worked with Ally and Rachael to help plan and execute our daughter’s wedding, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional service, care, and professionalism they provided. From the very first conversation, I knew they were exactly who we needed to bring our daughter’s vision to life—beautifully and within budget.
I interviewed a few different wedding planners and felt confident that any of them could have done a great job—but there was just something special about Ally and Rachael. We instantly clicked. They were incredibly professional, yet so warm and approachable—you immediately felt like you were talking to a friend. After nearly a year of planning together, I can honestly say we didn’t just have amazing planners—we’ve made a friend.
Planning a wedding from out of town comes with its challenges, especially when many guests are also traveling long distances. We really wanted to enjoy the entire weekend with our family and friends, not be bogged down with last-minute details, timeline coordination, or unexpected issues. That’s where Dream Day Events was a game-changer.
Ally was the main planner for our daughter’s wedding, but both she and Rachael were involved throughout the entire process—always available, always responsive. On the wedding day, both of them were there for over 12 hours, making sure every detail was flawlessly executed. Knowing we were in such capable hands allowed us to be fully present for one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
Leading up to the big day, they handled contracts and vendor communication, created and shared a clear timeline, and made sure everyone was on the same page. On the day itself, they were everywhere—handling everything, solving problems before they even reached us, and keeping everything on schedule.
Some of the standout touches that truly set them apart:
They packed up all of our décor after the reception and loaded it into our car. They returned the keys to our hotel for us.
They made sure the gift table and card box were secure and brought to the hotel for the bride and groom.
They even checked the bride and groom into their hotel room and set up the suite for their wedding night.
These thoughtful, personal touches reflect how deeply Ally and Rachael care—and how much pride they take in their work.
I can now say from experience that hiring a wedding planner ensures your day goes off seamlessly. A wedding is a significant investment—and a day you will remember forever—so you want it to be as perfect as it can possibly be. I highly recommend budgeting for a planner. Honestly, it wasn’t something I initially considered, but I’m so glad my husband encouraged us to go for it. It was, without question, one of the best decisions we made.

A Groom's Honest Take: Hire Them
I'll be honest: I was cocky going into wedding planning. Our venue offered some complementary planning services, and I figured we had it covered. I couldn't have been more wrong.
What I didn't realize is just how many decisions go into a wedding that you'd never think to consider. Rachael and Ally knew all the ins and outs, and more importantly, they knew what questions to ask us. They helped us focus on what would actually matter to us, like putting real thought into our signage, while steering us away from unnecessary add-ons (no, we did not need a dance floor oyster shucker).
Their vendor knowledge alone was worth it. There's so much noise online that it's nearly impossible to know who's actually good versus who just has great marketing. They cut through all of that and connected us with vendors they trusted, and they were right every time.
Case in point: a few weeks before the wedding, our DJ had to cancel. Before we even knew there was a problem, Rachael and Ally had already talked to the management company, lined up a replacement, and scheduled a meeting so we could give our approval. The new DJ ended up being phenomenal. That's who they are: solving problems before you even know they exist.
My wife is Type A and naturally took the reins on a lot of the planning, but Rachael and Ally gave us both the space to actually enjoy the process. They kept us focused on the decisions that mattered right now instead of drowning us in everything at once.
On the wedding day, the moment they arrived, I felt a wave of stress just lift. I was still nervous (it's my wedding), but knowing they were in control made all the difference. They were such a calming presence throughout the entire day.
If you're a groom reading this thinking you don't need a planner, I was you. Trust me, hire Dream Day Events. -

These ladies know how to make the whole place shimmer!!
If I could give our wedding planners 15 stars I would—because they truly turned our big day into a real-life Love Story.
From the very beginning, they understood the vision before I could even put it into words. I came in feeling a little Delicate, a little Out of the Woods, and very much hoping everything wouldn’t fall apart “like a house of cards,” but they showed up with the confidence and care of people who have clearly know this industry All Too Well.
They handled every detail with Style. They protected my peace like a personal Peace brigade, solved problems before I knew they existed, and made the entire planning process feel Fearless.
On the wedding day, they operated with the calm of someone who's seen This Love story a thousand times, and the joy of those who genuinely love making magic for other people. From timeline to décor to last-minute chaos, they turned what could have been a Mad Woman moment into a total Enchanted experience.
My guests couldn’t stop raving; everything was seamless, thoughtful, and sooo “meet me at midnight” dreamy. I walked away from the night thinking one thing: This Is Why We CAN Have Nice Things.
Hiring them was the best decision we made—no Question…? We’d do it again in a heartbeat. 70th Birthday Jersey Shore
Rachael and Ally were amazing right from the get go. We contracted them for a virtual planning package and their efforts were worth every dime. The price paid was very reasonable. From their brainstorming, coordinating with vendors, and the creative signage they provided for my husband's party I was given the peace of mind to sit back and truly enjoy the event.
Rachael and Ally really leaned in to the Jersey Shore theme with food ideas, flowers, and favors. They also came up with a fun signature drink. The vendors they suggested (and coordinated with) were amazing and really delivered.
The true test of a great party are comments from the guests. Everyone loved the themed touches like the signature drink, flowers, salt water taffy at the bar and their own small buckets of Johnson's popcorn to take him with them at the end of the evening.
Almost as important to me was the amazing communication from Rachael and Ally. They were both right on top of everything and I never worried that anything would slip through the cracks. I can't wait to use their services again for my next event!

October 2025 wedding
Rachel and Allison were amazing throughout the entire process. Getting back to all my emails and questions right away. Staying in contact with all my vendors. Reminding me of things I would have otherwise forgot. The day of the wedding they did so much from last minute decorations, to fixing my bustle that kept breaking, they were all around amazing. I highly recommend! -

Absolutely Incredible – Rachael and Ally Made Our Wedding Perfect
Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without Rachael and her amazing assistant, Ally. They were truly instrumental in making sure everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. Rachael is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure — exactly what you need on your wedding day. She anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had, handled all the moving parts behind the scenes, and made sure we could actually relax and enjoy the day.
Ally was equally wonderful — supportive, attentive, and on top of every little detail. Together, they made sure everything went off without a hitch. From managing vendors to keeping us on schedule to solving small issues before we even noticed them, they were absolute pros.

THE BEST, couldn't have done it without them
Rachael and Ally were the BESTTTTT . We couldn't have done our wedding without them. From small details to sharing recommended vendors, managing the hotel to locking down the rundown and purchases, she was able to bring comfort, confidence, and enthusiasm to the entire process & day!! We are tech people and she had an entire shared Google spreadsheet with everything we needed , making planning & communication so easy! Whenever people had questions we were able to have rachael cover it day-of, even all the thank you notes for vendors, food and coffee day of, and all the pictures she was with us. They even ordered the right tea for my Hong Kong tea ceremony, brought all the cookies and dresses up to the suite and in the greenroom, organized bathrobes, champagne and strawberry dipped chocolates the night of. Really appreciate them making our day so easy!! We had an absolute blast-

Bes-T Day Ever!
We hired Rachel and Ally of Dream Day Events to help us plan and execute on a wedding. They were fabulous. They worked in advance with us and every vendor joining in on calls- from the hotel, caterer, band, florist, photographer and even to our special guests. They made recommendations for the party, helping us develop and stick to a timeline. They suggested certain entrees and then recommended glow batons for the dancing. As the date got closer and the weather looked to be cooler for the outdoor ceremony, they suggested we get warm blankets for our guests. They were with us the entire day. Their help allowed me, the mom who planned the wedding, to relax and enjoy this very special day. I would highly recommend Dream Day Events! -

Hire these incredible professionals!!
I loved not having to worry about anything during my big day. I’m type A and could have spent the day planning, organizing, and taking care of my family. Instead, I got to focus on spending time with friends/family and marrying the love of my life, they took care of everything!
Rachael and Ally did so much to help our wedding day be the most magical and smooth day possible. I am so incredibly glad that we hired them. They supported us with things big and small, expected and totally unexpected, staying so kind, calm, helpful, and professional the entire time.
Dream Day Events were amazing. Some examples , the groom’s suspenders broke and they went back to the Airbnb to get his second pair, a bridesmaid spilled and stained her dress, they fixed it and pined it to look beautiful (I didn’t even know except that someone snapped a picture- love that amazing!) My parents were unsure if we needed Dream Day Events, after the wedding they were thrilled, wrote a positive review and have been telling all of their friends how wonderful Dream Day Events was! Agreed! I will use them for many events in the future too! -

Dream Day events is the best!
I worked with Rachael for almost a year planning my October 2024 wedding and could go on and on about how helpful she was. My mom and I met with a few wedding planners and felt like they all would have done a great job, but we just instantly clicked with Rachael. She’s high energy, personable, professional has amazing connections and just GETS IT. I knew I’d be working with someone who felt more like my friend who also happened to be a wedding planner rather than just working with another vendor, and that was so important over 11 months of working together.
My mom and I had monthly calls with her to make sure we were on track with everything wedding planning, but she was just a text message or email away whenever we had a question. She answered our questions quickly and thoughtfully, and was full of tips and good advice along the way.
My one concern when we decided to work with her was she told us she was not going to be able to be there on our actual wedding day, so she contracted with another wedding coordinator she works with to be our day of coordinator. I was worried about this, so if you’re in that situation I’m here to tell you NOT TO WORRY at all, and that’s not a reason to not move forward. The transition was seamless and Rachael was still there for us for anything we needed that week and the team she brought in for the day of was as detail oriented and amazing as she was. Now we feel like we’ve gained a friend and an event planner, we love Rachael! -

Rachael was the savior of my wedding. From the moment we met I knew this was the best wedding decision I could have made. She came highly recommended and exceeded all expectations. Happiest bride ever!
Rachael and Sophia were basically our heroes throughout our entire planning process. From day one, we were given invaluable guidance and a concrete plan to get us from the beginning planning stages through the big day. Needless to say, our wedding was perfect. With 260 guests and a budget to maintain, Rachael and Sophia executed perfectly. They recommended the most wonderful vendors and were a true support system. A Dream Experience- Rachael is One of a Kind
Words cannot accurately capture and express the amount of gratitude we have for Rachael and Dream Day Events! I honestly do not know what we would have done without Rachael. I worked with Racheal as a bridesmaid and was absolutely impressed with her kind heart, helpfulness, attention to detail, and just overall awesome attitude! Dream Day Events is the Best!
Rachael and her team are the absolute best!! Rachael really takes the time to help and support you in any way possible for your event. She gives amazing advice and has the best contacts. I felt so comfortable the day of our wedding because of her hard work in helping us plan every detail. She is kind and personable with everyone she works with, and she is so knowledgeable when it comes to weddings. No question was a dumb quesiton, and she was super flexible when it came to meeting times. The planning process was so easy because of her.
She was also amazing the day of wedding. Everyone I spoke with said it was so organized, and I know it felt that way because of Rachael! She was there bright and early as we got our hair and makeup done and made sure everyone in my bridal party was happy and comfortable. During the wedding, she made sure everything was running smoothly and made sure both my husband and I were taken care of. Her assistant Sofia was also a pleasure to work with. Both Rachael and Sofia made sure we could just enjoy our wedding while they handled our vendors and clean up. Capturing Magic - Rachael the Dream-maker
Rachael and Dream Day Events are "Simply The Best." Not only was our wedding the occasion of our dreams, planning it was equally as meaningful and a blast. Planner turned bestie!
Rachael and her team were the absolute missing puzzle piece to our whole wedding planning process.
We hired Rachael just after we had picked out venue and a few vendors, and she was with us the entire way through. She made suggestions of viewpoints I had not considered, gave us a wonderful spreadsheet to keep us organized, and did any and all communication with other vendors that we asked her to. She ran rehearsal the day before and helped with everything the day of from hair and makeup, to making sure the guys got to the venue on time, and making sure each vendor was there on time setting up decor exactly where I wanted it. Rachael truly is the most positive, bubbly, and organized person you could possibly want in your corner on your big day. By the time the wedding rolled around, she felt more like a best friend then my planner and I was so happy to have her with me through the entire process. She is the EASIEST decision of the vendor hiring process and I would recommend her 10/10 times! (All of my bridesmaids want to hire her for their future weddings!)-

Mother-of-the-Bride
Hiring Rachael was, without a doubt, the best decision I could possibly have made for my daughters wedding. She had been the wedding planner for my son and daughter-in-law‘s wedding three years ago. From that day on, no matter who, what, or where my daughter married- I was certain Rachael would be an essential part of the process. The best wedding planner ever!!!
One month ago, we had the best wedding ever and it was all thanks to Rachael and her team! There is nothing more stressful than trying to plan a wedding and Rachael helped take all that stress away! She provided us with the best vendor recommendations, helped us keep on track with booking everyone and provided great advice along the way all with a positive, infectious attitude. She was ALWAYS available for questions and provided super quick responses. Day of her and her team were there bright and early and took care of EVERYTHING. We didn't have to worry about one detail on our wedding day. We just got to enjoy ourselves and the day. All in all, hiring Rachael was the best decision we made and we can't thank her enough for helping us to have the most fun, memorable day of our lives.-

Omg best wedding planners ever
Rachael and Ally were a dream come true! I am a professional event planner so when I got engaged I knew it was well worth it to hire a wedding planner. I asked lots of my friends in the industry for suggestions and Rachael came highly recommended. The entire Dream Day Events team was friendly, helpful, quick on their feet, creative, organized and detailed. Ally worked with me for months prior, kept me calm, organized and communicated with my vendors. We booked a venue where we had to hire outside catering and vendors so having a wedding planner was vital. They gave me great recommendations for other vendors as well like transportation, photo booth and hair & make up. Some vendors even gave us a discount because I was working with Dream Day Events. They helped me make decisions when I was feeling so overwhelmed and wanted to give up. The ladies coordinated all the logistics for the pictures and bridal party as well as vendors. I gave them boxes of décor that they beautifully set up with very little direction. They troubleshooted any minor snafus without me even knowing anything went wrong. They talked to my mom when she was getting on my nerves. They helped my Grandma get into the venue. They coordinated with our dog walker to get my dog there. Ally was right there next to me with hand sanitizer in her fanny pack when I needed it. Most importantly, they kept us on time. As an event planner myself, I've almost never been able to start a wedding ceremony on time, but Ally and Rachael did it! And all throughout the months of planning, I felt like I was just chatting with friends. I'm going to miss them. I cannot thank them enough. I cannot recommend and sing their praises enough. Everyone planning a wedding can use the help of a wedding planner! Put it in your budget. In the end, having a professional by your side will save you money! It will make the day go so much smoother. You will actually be able to just enjoy the day as a guest instead of thinking of logistics and dealing with questions and issues. Do yourself a favor and hire Dream Day Events. At the end of the day, compared to how much we spent on everything overall, the wedding planner was a tiny piece of the budget. They were totally affordable and completely worth it!!! I would hire them again and again (but hopefully I won't need to). :) -

We met w/Rachael approx. 18 months prior to our daughters wedding. With her infectious enthusiasm, warm demeanor and straight forward attitude we knew we wanted her to help us plan a large wedding with a lot of moving parts in Center City Phila. Rachael from the start was thorough, sensitive to our budget, attentive to details, and as she got to know us a family took our lead with some gentle persuasion on her part if she felt we needed to go in a different direction. Her vendors are incredible, she has clearly carved out an excellent reputation with them which in turn helped us. She got to know our daughter (bride) and her husband and paid close attention to their needs, the aesthetic they wanted and never missed a beat in addressing their important wedding weekend. Rachael went above and beyond every thought, dream and hope we had for our wedding! She was on top of every detail from the very beginning and continued even after our big day. She was an incredible liaison between all of the vendors, making sure everything was set and ready for the day. I cannot say enough how awesome Rachael and her team were!! I could never imagine planning my wedding without them! Rachael is so responsive, organized, and supportive during the whole process! She helped us with booking vendors, responding to emails, and having monthly timelines which were so helpful!! We saved so much money from Rachael’s close relationships with vendors and her exactly knowing what we did/ didn’t need. She even helped my florist navigate a place card table which turned out better then I could have imaged- she totally understood my vision and what I wanted! We were able to enjoy our wedding day knowing Rachael and her team were behind everything making sure it all ran smoothly. And the best part was after the reception, she and her team were able to clean everything up and transport flowers, candles, cylinders, etc all to my parents house so that we could enjoy our night at the after party. Everything was so seamless and even during the planning process, Rachael makes sure you are having fun too! Also, can i just say she is the most caring, kindest human on the planet! As a bride you tend to have a few (maybe more) freak out moments and Rachael was there every step of the way to calm your nerves and just be a friend! The Dream Day team were all so amazing! The reason my daughter’s wedding day was stress-free and magical
I cannot say enough about Rachael and her team! When my daughter got engaged last Summer (during the pandemic), my first move was to hire Rachael to help the very busy couple have knowledgeable, professional support to plan their big day. From day one, she had all the details before us in her thorough, user-friendly spreadsheet. No surprises, nothing left undone. Rachael walked with my daughter and son-in-law every step of the way, helping them find great vendors, keeping them on track, and asking all the right questions to understand what would make their celebration a perfect fit for them.
When they ran into a pretty major snag with the reception hall 2 weeks before their wedding, Rachael went to bat and persistently but professionally pursued the contact person to deal with the issue. She is very kind and respectful but stands up for her clients and works for a positive resolution.
On the wedding day, she averted those stressors that nearly stole my daughter’s joy. She looked out for each person in the wedding party and kept us all on track. I truly wasn’t nervous about anything because I had full confidence in Rachael and her team. Even 90-year-old Grandmom said Rachael made her feel so special!
The vendors Rachael recommended were outstanding! (Though she’s 100% supportive if you have your own.) There’s never any pressure, only kind, genuine support. (But Rachael was able to get discounted rates which, in the end, paid for Dream Day Event’s services.)
Clearly, Rachael loves helping her clients have the best event possible. After the happy couple left and the guests went home, her team packed up everything and all we had to do was load it into our cars.
She followed up with the bride and groom to be sure their expectations were met.
Wanting the best for my daughter, I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Rachael is the reason we could live in the glorious moment and not be distracted by details or concerns. Thank you thank you lovely Rachael and team! You’re truly the best!!! -

Five stars just don’t seem like enough after working with Rachael and her team. I admittedly underestimated the value of having a wedding planner when this process began for us over a year ago. When all was said and done, I could not help but deeply appreciate just how vital she was to making our wedding a success. The best... Just book her now!
If you weren't sure about hiring a wedding planner, I'm here to tell you to just do it. More specifically, hire Rachael! I had a lot of big vendors already booked by the time my now husband and I hired Rachael, but she was there to show us all the little things that still needed to be completed. She was a liaison between vendors, solving problems before we were even aware there was a problem - but never making decisions for us - always consulting to make sure things were what we wanted for our day. Her organization knows no limits. Forget buying a planner. All you need is Rachael. She'll give you the tools necessary to keep on track for all the tasks that need completing leading up to the wedding, and send you reminders if you are a little behind (...guilty). And on the day of the wedding, she and her team were everywhere, from the hotel getting ready in the morning to the venue, prepping the decor and coordinating with the catering liaison, DJ, and photographer. Whenever we needed something, or our parents needed something, she was right there making it happen. If there needed to be a change to the schedule, she would come up with different scenarios, then ask me, and then disseminate my decision to the appropriate vendors to make sure everything I wanted to happen happened and happened when I wanted it to. I was able to actually enjoy that much more of my wedding day because of the behind-the-scenes work of Rachael and her team. Her advice throughout the whole process was INVALUABLE! She's done this many times over and knows the little details that someone who is planning their once in a lifetime wedding would miss. But more than just her expertise in the field of wedding planning, she is an overall wonderful human being. She is so sweet and so easy to work with - never pushy and never has a know-it-all attitude. I could go on and on (honestly can't believe I haven't run out of space yet!), but seriously, if you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Rachael and her team. They will make your special day (and all the planning leading up to it) every bit as magical as you could ever dream! -

Rachael made our entire wedding planning experience seamless, even through a Covid postponement! She has great relationships with so many vendors (we literally got $500+ discounts from certain ones just for Rachael's referral), while of course working professionally with anyone else who you involve (last-minute surprise ice sculpture delivery planned by a bridesmaid? No problem!). She had suggestions/options ready to fit our budget and style, while always keeping an open mind and hearing our feedback. I never felt pressured into any decision!
Rachael is extremely organized and professional, yet so stress-free to work with. I was completely clueless about most steps of wedding planning, but she walked me through it and was always available to answer a text when I had silly questions. She was exactly what I needed!
When it comes to the big day, there is no question that Rachael and her team (Sophia and Caitlyn in our case!) were worth every penny of the investment. From the detailed timeline, to helping the groom shave his neck, to having drinks/snacks in my hand all night, they handled SO much more than just the logistics of coordinating vendors. They seriously made the day go perfectly. And as an added bonus, they're so much fun to have around!

Best decision we've ever made!
I don't know how we would have pulled off our wedding without Rachael. From our first conversation in 2019 through two covid postponements and finally our wedding in September 2021, Rachael was the most helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, collaborative, and supportive person we could have asked for. She knew all the ins-and-outs, had close relationships with every possible vendor, helped us with a start-to-finish timeline, helped us sequence all of the things we needed to do, took a ton of things off our plate, and guided us along the way. This was especially helpful since we were planning from across the country. It was so reassuring to know we were on the right track, to get help with things when we needed it, to get expert tips on handling contracts / payments / other logistics, and most importantly to know our wedding was in good hands. Along the way we also saved a ton of money with other vendors because Rachael knew what we did and didn't need (what was and wasn't worth paying for), and because of her close personal relationships with them. Just as importantly, we also saved a ton of time, throughout the whole planning process but especially when we needed the most help, during our two covid reschedules. Probably most importantly - we knew that our planner would be with us during our entire wedding day so we wanted someone we liked and felt comfortable with as a person. They were everywhere doing everything for us!
My daughter just got married on Sept. 10, 2021. This was the third date, thanks to COVID. I will confess that I had been skeptical about the need for wedding planners but no longer - now I tell everyone GET A WEDDING PLANNER! When my daughter started planning her Philly wedding, she and her fiance were living in San Francisco, so they did need help coordinating local vendors. After the pandemic forced several date changes. Rachael was instrumental in working with vendors and securing new vendors if needed for the new dates. Her advice along the way was always the best. And the day of the wedding - she was literally EVERYWHERE from 8AM in the bridal suite until the very end of the evening, making sure everything was good. A father if the bride says "Do yourself a favor and hire Rachael"
I don’t know how many reviews you get from Fathers of the Bride, since traditionally (at least in this family), the Dads aren’t very active participants in the wedding planning. But as a very satisfied Father of the Bride I must tell you, Rachael Lassoff was worth every penny, if for nothing else than keeping my wife (a stickler for detail) calm, sane and focused on the things she should be focusing on – celebrating the lives of our daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law. Rachael was extraordinary in that our daughter’s wedding was originally scheduled for July 2020 but moved back one year due to Covid. She took care of moving the date with all of our venues and vendors and took that responsibility off of our shoulders. She constantly reminded my wife and daughter of things they needed to be doing two months out, one month out, one week out, etc. But the real value came on the big day itself. She was there from early morning until late at night with a small army of assistants to ensure things went off without a hitch and to take care of all of the little things you don’t realize you needed to do. Little things like...the strap on a bridesmaid’s shoe broke after the Mass. Rachael came out of nowhere to repair it. Big things like… standing behind my daughter and me at the back of church just prior to taking the ‘Big Walk’ and reminding us of how and when to walk (and to breathe) ... at that moment, I think the only thing I heard besides my beating heart was Rachael’s calm voice. She did all of this and so much more. Rachael handled all of the planning-like tasks exceptionally well; she has excellent relationships with many of the photographers, videographers, florists, venues, etc. in this area. But it was the mental state she created that was of tremendous value. Occasionally my wife had to be talked ‘off the ledge’ over some planning issue. Rachael was always there to pick up the phone and reassure her that all was well. She is the consummate professional who really knows her way around weddings. Do yourself a favor and hire her. You will not be disappointed.

A groom’s perspective: wow
My wife wanted to take on a lot of the planning herself, so we hired Rachael as a day-of coordinator. What a joke of a title! Even if all we got were the 16+ hour day Rachael and her DDE assistants pulled on our wedding day, “day-of coordinator” would hugely undersell how much work they did to make the day run as smooth as butter. The entire year prior, Rachael fluidly and expertly filled in every little gap of our planning, helped us map out the entire year and kept us on track with regular check-in calls, coordinated with all the other vendors and advocated on our behalf where needed, and checked and double-checked every last detail of what we were doing.
With Rachael, I could rest much more easily knowing that a detail-oriented pair of eyes, with the time and energy as if our wedding were her one and only full time job, was checking over everything. It was a cherry on top that she was very pleasant to work with (we might be friends now, time will tell?) and seemed to immediately have a great rapport with every other vendor. Cannot recommend more highly. -

The absolute best wedding planner you could ask for!
Rachael as our Wedding Day of Coordinator was the best decision ever!! She stood by us every step of the process and her insights/suggestions were invaluable. She and her team was such a dream to have at our wedding day! They were so professional and made our entire wedding party feel welcomed. In addition, her team went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony arch did not fall from the wind by secretly holding them up during the entire ceremony (AMAZING, right?!) Where to even begin...
Hiring Rachael was one of the first and best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Not only did she walk us through the first wedding, she pivoted and planned a second, smaller event after covid. She was incredibly available, responsive, and kept everything moving forward. She has excellent vendor connections in and around Philadelphia and gave recommendations across a range of styles and prices based on what we wanted. The day of the event she handled all of the details, including driving to get bitters and literally serving water and wine when the venue was unexpectedly understaffed. In addition to serving as our planner she kept us sane and even made the planning fun ;) Our day literally would not have happened without Rachael and we (and our families!) will be forever grateful. The day came out so beautifully we are even going to work with her on a larger reception once things open up. Cannot recommend her enough!!! -

Daughter’s Bat Mitzvah
Rachael is great!! I worked with her previously and knew she would be great to work with again for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah service. Everyone is trying to navigate the pandemic and I knew Rachael would take a lot of stress off of me and plan it perfectly balancing the guests that were there in person and those on zoom. Literal angels!
We found Allison and Rachael when we are pretty far into planning our wedding but I knew I would need help to finish up all the final details, and definitely on wedding day. Allison took on the task of being our primary planner with Rachael overseeing everything. They are such an incredible team, they seem to have all the answers and just know exactly what to do without forcing anything on you.
Unfortunately our wedding was scheduled for May 16 and we had to postpone due to COVID-19. We started hearing about shut downs happening on Thursday or Friday, and on Monday I had an email from Allison saying she and Rachael had already reached out to all of my vendors to find out options for Plan B. It actually brought me to tears that day, and I'm crying again writing this now; we were terrified and paralyzed, but Allison was right there before we could even ask for help, saying "don't worry, I got this." And she did. We went over all the options, she went to bat for us negotiating with vendors and ironing out all the details, and we had a new plan ready to go. When it was time to make the decision to postpone, Allison took care of everything. When our original wedding date came along, a really sad and bittersweet day for us, Allison made sure to check in on us, and even sent us a very thoughtful gift. Truly above and beyond.
We're so grateful for Allison and Rachael, they are truly the best in the business and it's obvious that their success is not only due to their skill, experience, hard work and professionalism, but because they love what they do and their hearts are in it 100%.
I'll be back to update after our new wedding date, but I don't have any doubts that it will be perfect because we have Allison and Rachael by our side.

Incredibly awesome
Having Rachael as our wedding planner was hands down the best decision we made throughout the planning process. She was always professional, prompt, and on top of everything! Rachel is always making sure that we are staying on track with our time line. She sends us reminders of when things are due by. Since Rachel has been in the business for so long, she has great connections with vendors to help her clients get the best price. The best part is she does all of this while having a super positive attitude and staying calm under pressure which is the perfect combination! When COVID derailed our initial wedding plans, Rachael jumped right in and contacted us and then we got a game plan. She then contacted all of our vendors to see if they had the date that we wanted. The Best Part Planner
Mikayla and I have been planning her bat mitzvah with Rachael over the last year. Due to Covid we had to reschedule twice. I have to tell you Rachael is amazing under pressure. She has walked me off the ledge and gained our trust day one. She gets to know her clients to better understand their needs and helps implement the vision they have in mind. She has amazing contacts with some of the best in the event planning business. She constantly follows up and checks on her clients .
One thing you need to know is even in the toughest of times Rachael is always smiling. Her positive attitude helped this momma feel good about continuing to plan our mitzvah during these very trying times.

Best decision of my life
When I told my friends and family I wanted a wedding planner, they thought I was crazy and tried to talk me out of it. I hired Rachael and Dream Day Events because I wanted to enjoy my day and not be as stressed in the planning. Rachael is truly the most helpful person I’ve ever met. No matter what question I had, she picked up the phone for me and walked me through whatever issue I had. My mother even called her several times in the planning and she helped her every time as well. A Stress-Free Wedding, thanks to Rachael and Dream Day!
Rachael and her team were amazing wedding coordinators! We're so grateful for all they did to make our special day run smoothly and stress free. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was always available over phone and email to touch base about any questions. On the day, we had nothing to do but enjoy the experience. She told us what to do and when to do it, keeping everything on schedule and letting us focus on each other and our guests.
We went into the planning process thinking that we didn't need a day-of coordinator, and I am SO glad we changed our minds and hired Rachael. Without her help, I have no idea how we would have managed everything from the big stuff (coordinating with vendors, bringing everything back to the hotel after the ceremony) to the small details (she gathered our place cards after the dinner and saved them for us in our guest book - it was so sweet! She also had emergency bobby pins - a lifesaver!)
In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented, Rachael is a wonderful and kind person. Hanging out with her during the hair and makeup session was a blast. Stress-free wedding planning
My parents and I were referred to Rachael of Dream Day Events by friends of ours shortly after I was engaged in 2018. When I met Rachael in person, I expected her to be knowledgable and professional, but I had no idea that she would be so incredibly nice and positive.
Over the course of the year that we worked together, Rachael was never negative, critical, or rude -- something that is surprisingly unique in the wedding industry! She pointed me in the direction of some amazing vendors, like my florist, the amazing Longstems!!, and she tackled the more prickly ones in a way that any issues that arose (an inevitable part of wedding planning!) were resolved without tension or stress on my part.

Rachael was AMAZING!! We are so happy we hired her for our wedding. She helped our wedding day go smoothly and without any issues. Rachael was our wedding MVP!!
Wedding planning was so stressful and unpleasant....until we met Rachael. She completely saved the process for us, was SO communicative, organized, reassuring, and fun to work with. She thought of all the details that made the wedding as magnificent as it was and kept us completely on track. She worked tirelessly and for countless hours to make sure that we were in good shape, I felt totally relaxed and confident with her help. She was amazing the day of as well, kept everyone calm and happy and everything running smoothly and on time. Even when my dress ripped down the middle right before walking down the aisle, Rachael stepped right up and sewed it back together so no one could tell!! Rachael was amazing to collaborate with in celebration of a wedding this past weekend. As a DJ, coordination and planning of the timeline along with all the fine details is a meticulous process. Rachael took the drivers seat in aligning everything perfectly and executing on the big day. This was the first time I worked with Rachael and I hope to again in the future. Our couple was absolutely thrilled around the collaboration from day 1 to the final song on their wedding day. -

So I have to say that other than choosing to marry my now-husband, hiring Rachael to be our wedding coordinator was the best thing I did for our wedding. She did LITERALLY everything, from keeping the flow going during hair and makeup in the morning, to making sure everyone in the wedding party was where they needed to be at the right time (we never were behind schedule thanks to her). Just a few more of the ways Rachael made our day perfect:
1. She made sure to ask all the right questions of our vendors (ie - we ended up being able to bring all of our decor and alcohol to the venue days before the wedding because she pressed for it, which was a true timesaver on the day of. She also helped bring all of it over and trust me, there was a lot of stuff).
2. She decorated our venue while we took pictures.
3. She put in my veil before the ceremony and did my bustle afterwards.
4. She was the liaison for all of our vendors and the wedding party so my husband and I didn't get bothered with tons of questions and could just enjoy our day.
5. She gave us an amazing spreadsheet that took all the stress out of planning.
6. She was at the ready anytime anyone needed deodorant, a bandaid, pins, whatever. She had it all in her go bag!
7. Despite me telling my brother not to wash his super long hair that day so our hairdresser could put it up in a bun, he did and it was soaked just 40 minutes before our photographer arrived to take photos of the guys. So what does Rachael do? She pulls out a hairdryer and dries his hair for him, no questions asked (I will never get over this lol)!!
Rachael did all this and so much more. She is amazing and I can say with 100% confidence that you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't hire her as your wedding planner or DoC! -

Rachael was by far and beyond the best coordinator I could have asked for. From the moment I hired her, she was there every step of the way helping to make my wedding weekend a success. I literally do not know what I would have done without her. From timeline planning, to vendor calls, to coordination, to meetings, to working out little details, to being therebthe entire wedding weekend, to everything in between, Rachael went above and beyond with her services. She was readily available whenever I needed her and was always on top of things. I am very particular and detail oriented and Rachael went back and forth with vendors making sure every last question of mine was answered and every situation handled. When it came to the week of and the wedding weekend, she was there every step of the way from helping pack welcome bags and delivering them, to dropping off all decor, to finding a projector and setting up a slideshow, to making sure everything was taken care of at the hotel when guests were first checking in, to making sure everything was great at my rehearsal dinner and setting up everything, to arriving first thing morning of the wedding, and staying til we went back to the hotel after the wedding. She was there every step of the way and she is the reason things went as smoothly as they did. She remained calm in every situation and took amazing care of me and my whole bridal party. I can’t say enough about Dream Day Events! Rachael took on my daughter’s wedding as if it was her own. Rachael was an absolute pleasure to work with during my wedding planning process. She is hard-working, organized, flexible, affordable, and personable (read: fun!).
I was simply looking for a Day-of Coordinator to be our on-site point person (one to put out any potential fires the day of our wedding). In hiring Rachael, my husband and I were able to plan so many more logistics than we initially anticipated. We planned our wedding from out-of-state and Rachael always made time to check-in around our busy schedules.
Rachael stored my DIY wedding decor in her storage space, helped us carry our wedding alcohol in the rain, and bustled my dress day-of. She went above and beyond the way you would for old friends. If you're getting married in the area: I can't recommend her help enough. -

Couples, Dream Day Events is the perfect "vendor" to use for planning your dream day. But to call DDE a vendor wouldn't do the service, value and hands on touch aspects of what Rachael brings to the table any justice. From day 1, my husband and I knew we were in good hands. Rachael visited our home during our home during our wedding planner vetting process and we looked no further. She was sweet, attentive and overly knowledgeable when it came to venues in the area and potential vendors we would need to make the day just right. DDE was organized too! We were overwhelmed by all that goes into pulling off a day like we had, but Rachael's spreadsheets, day-of time line and knack for getting things done put our minds at ease. We definitely recommend DDE for your wedding planning needs. If you're getting hitched and want things to go off without one, call our new friend Rachael... She's sure to make your dream day just perfect! -

Rachael Lassoff was the wedding coordinator for our daughter and son-in-law's recent wedding and she's so completely amazing! She has all of the characteristics anyone would want in a wedding coordinator, from outstanding organization skills to locating resources, to providing encouragement and emotional support every step of the way, and to making sure every detail is perfect on wedding day. She's an extremely special person who will remain part of our family's life on a personal level - if you appreciate beautiful relationships, she's someone you won't want to let go! -

Before I met Rachael, I was entirely unaware of how impactful and life-changing a wedding planner could be. Perhaps it is because Rachael is 1000 times more than simply a “wedding planner.” With over 10 years of experience in the field, Rachael essentially eliminated approximately 99% of the stress that goes into planning a wedding by taking one multiple roles: a liaison between our vendors, a magician with saving us money, a therapist when I needed someone to talk to, a genie by making my dream wedding a reality, and, most importantly, a true friend and unyielding cheerleader for us. The only bad thing about getting married has been not having a reason to talk to Rachael nearly everyday, since she WILL be there for you EVERY day, day or night. She is incredibly smart and meticulous, knowing the details of our wedding even better than my fiancé or I did, and making sure that our vision for what we wanted was realized. She is undoubtedly the Olivia Pope of wedding planners which, for everyone who hasn’t seen Scandal, means that she could work on a presidential level of wedding planning, can organize your life better than anyone and will take care of all of the dirty work too! To be called the Olivia Pope of anything is an extremely difficult level to reach, since this fictional character is unrealistically perfect at everything she does, but Rachael has earned that title without a doubt. I would hire her for anything. Rachael truly does it all. She is way more than simply your wedding planner. She becomes your biggest fan, an incredible friend, and, on the big day, the most reliable person in the room. No one made us feel more comfortable than Rachael on our wedding day, which just goes to show how important she was to the entire event. Our wedding was perfect, thanks to Rachael. I don’t see how we could have pulled it off without her. Anyone who works with Rachael should consider themselves lucky, b/c this girl is going places! So if you’re able to book her, do it!! -

I am SO glad my (now) husband and I opted to hire Rachael for our wedding. We had gone back and forth for a long time over whether we wanted to spend the money for a planner, but now I can't imagine how the day would have gone without her.
We DIY'd most of the event, but turns out (surprise) we actually had no idea how to make a wedding run smoothly. Rachael was absolutely indispensable throughout the entire day. We hired her super last minute, and she was amazing with quickly organizing all of our vendor information and making sure we were squared away with all the little details like songs and processional order, etc. Not only was she incredibly organized and accessible, she went above and beyond the typical responsibilities. She was with us first thing in the morning helping organize the bridal party with our getting ready business, she picked up AND set up all of our desserts, and she awesomely moved chairs from the ceremony to the reception because our venue only provided us with exactly enough chairs for our guests. (On top of a million other things!)
Every single one of our vendors gushed about how great she was, and I can't speak highly enough of her. Disaster is a strong word for what our wedding would have been without her, but hey - it would have been pretty close! If anyone out there in wedding land isn't sure if they want to hire a planner - DO IT! And if you have the opportunity to work with Rachael - DO IT! She's incredibly professional, organized (which I keep saying because I am the opposite of organized), personable, and dedicated to you and your day.
TL;DR version: Rachael is amazing, and you should hire her for your wedding. -
