  My daughter's wedding-a lifetime experience

  I could not find a better location or the Doubletree Team to have my daughter's wedding. The 2 days of events went flawlessly and the team worked very hard on my requirements in light of the pandemic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my guests.Hotels rooms were clean and checking in was very easy. Parking was not a problem. Security was also concern but we did not have any issues throughout the 2 days. Many of our guests had food at the Lauguna and thoroughly enjoyed it. Special mention must be made of Marie Fehrenbach and Randy Dennison, they both made the 2 days magical for my daughter and my guests. I would fully recommend the Doubletree Sea World for any future events.

  Wedding Weekend

  This Doubletree resort was the perfect place for the wedding! We loved everything about the hotel and the staff. Also the location to everything in Orlando.
  Service was on point and the meals were delicious. Maria was wonderful and helped us through every step of planning! She listed to our wants, needs and changes that we had and was very accommodating! Thank you so much Maria and everyone at the Double Tree who helped make the wedding as beautiful as it was.

  Where FairyTale Wedding Dreams Come True!

  We had our wedding at the DoubleTree at SeaWorld and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made. We were introduced to this amazing venue by our wedding planner Carlisha with Designer Weddings by Carly Rose who also introduced us to the event manager Rechelle. O..M..G talk about the dream team! Rechelle was so awesome and made everything easy. She was always very flexible when we needed to meet with her and responded to us extremely quick. Rechelle made the execution of our wedding plans and details look like a piece of cake (it really wasn’t) KUDOS to Rechelle. We had a 2 day wedding with the Hindu Ceremony being the first day and our Reception the next. Guests could not stop ranting and raving about this place and how versatile it was. We had our Ceremony in one of the main ballrooms right by the lobby of the hotel and our reception was in the newer ballrooms towards the back of the resort. It literally felt like we were in two different placed and not even in the state of Florida at all. Out of state guests were also able to stay on the property so they never had to travel far for the events taking place. If you are looking for an all in one venue this honestly is your one shop stop!

  Rechelle (wedding specialist and social sales manager) was an absolute pleasure to work with. We chose the DoubleTree for our wedding reception location and were very happy with it. We loved working with her. The wedding package included a private menu tasting, which was excellent. Her staff was great to work with, very pleasant. Unfortunately due to a family emergency, Rechelle was unable to be with us on the day of our wedding reception, but she did have her coworker Patti fill in for us, and she was great. I would highly recommend choosing the DoubleTree as your wedding ceremony and/or reception location and working with the awesome Rechelle.

  Thank you, Rechelle!! My husband and I met with Rechelle in February of 2016 to begin planning our big day and she was helpful from beginning to end. The DoubleTree was a great venue for our wedding with a lot of space, rooms for our guests and delicious food. Our guests loved the dinner, which was very important to us. Social hour was fantastic with 3 different hors d'oeuvres for our guests. Rechelle's hard work and dedication to making our dream wedding come true is so appreciated and she really did make us feel special. It was a pleasure working with her over the last year.

  We had our wedding reception at the DoubleTree at SeaWorld, and it was PERFECT! The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating for our guests, and their catering sales manager (Kelsea Hauck) was a God send! She helped us plan the entire event from start to finish. She answered every single annoying question we had, and made our big celebration the best day of our lives. Without her, the day may not have been as wonderful! The food was incredible, the staff was superior, and our guests had so much fun. This is a 5 star venue for your wedding. You will feel like a princess on your big day!

  When planning my wedding I went to what felt like HUNDREDS of venues to find one that I liked and also that could meet my needs within budget. I went Doubletree at Seaworld and met with Mike Ikemier. He is the manager of Special Events. He went above and beyond to make sure this picky, indecisive bride got everything she wanted. I called him non-stop and about big and small things to make sure he knew for certain how I wanted things to be. They have numerous spaces to hold a ceremony and reception. He offered me 2 rooms that were on the second floor of the tower. Not only would we have those 2 rooms, but the entire floor, including the balcony. This was perfect because it gave me the privacy I wanted for such an intimate event. The only issue was that the ceiling was a little low for me and the rooms didn't have the GRAND effect I was looking for. I asked if I could book the ballroom in the front of the hotel, but due to the size of my party he didn't think it would be a good idea as it would be too much space and look empty. He told me if I wanted it I could have it; it was my decision. The only issue with that room was that it is literally at the entrance of the hotel. My guests would have to go through the lobby to get the ceremony and reception. And being that the event was on a Saturday, there was a chance the lobby could be packed. This meant no privacy. Something that was important to me. But it had the GRAND effect I was looking for. I went back and forth with my family about what to do. I ended up choosing the ballroom! About 3 weeks before the big day I got a call from Mike about another space that had become available. He said it would be perfect. I went to see it and all I could do was smile. He came through for me once again!!! It was another ballroom in a different location on property that had both privacy and the GRAND look. It was the perfect size and location. The entire space was reserved for my wedding. I could not be happier!!! Because most of o

  I had my wedding and ceremony at this location and it was perfect. Mike was the event coordinator we dealt with and he went above and beyond to make sure that we got the wedding we invisioned. Let me explain how great they were, we had booked our wedding one year in advance with another location, six months before the date of our wedding we found out that the other location double booked our wedding with someone else's wedding. We had already sent Save the Dates so we could not change the date. So with six months remaining I had to look for another place. I called the DoubleTree and thankfully, they had a ballroom available. I was so frantic and emotional but Mike came through and made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease. When we got to the 3 months mark, we did the food tasting and my husband and I are both of Caribbean decent and wanted food with a Carbibbean blend, and Mike made it happen. We had Jamaican Jerk chicken breast with fried sweet plantains on the side. Even our Salad had fried green plantain chips. It was delicious. Our Bar was FANTASTIC. We had open bar all night and did not have any instructions for the bar, but they went above our expectation and created a specialty Rum Punch for our guests. It was perfect. I would higly recommend anyone getting married to have their ceremony AND reception here.

  Reserve this venue NOW!

  From the first time I met Rechelle Williams-Delgado, I knew she would give me the day of my dreams and boy did she deliver. Working with her and the staff at the DoubleTree was AMAZING! I was looking for a venue that could accommodate my 250 guests for my Indian engagement and reception -- a two-day affair. Rechelle was always incredibly patient with me and at my beck and call whenever I needed her. Even with the tight window for my event (five-months from the time I officially reserved to the time of my event), she was on it. From suggesting vendors to cluing me in on all things events, I am absolutely grateful to her and the team for being so gracious and wonderful to work with.
  
  When looking for a venue, I wanted one that was close to some local tourist attractions and also wouldn't break the bank for my guests who had to stay there. With the DoubleTree, my family and friends from out of town were close to all the local spots and able to stay a few extra days with the great hotel rate. My engagement was absolutely wonderful and I really couldn't pull it all off without Rechelle and her team. Have your event here and I guarantee you will not regret it!

The individual who was responsible for our wedding did take some time to respond to e-mails and phone calls. We had to provide our e-mail addresses several times and request documents several times as well. Sometimes it seemed that he only responded to us when it was most convenient for him, as in requesting a payment or trying to reach a deadline. My fiancé and I felt that he was somewhat unorganized in that it took several 'consultations' to finalize a menu and details because our file was either misplaced or never in order. Otherwise, we have no complaints. The site itself is awesome; there is ample space for mega weddings or those with more 'quaint' smaller weddings. The bridal parties had ample space to get ready on site. There is lush greenery throughout the site and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the services offered and thought we got our 'money's worth'!

  Doubletree by Hilton at SeaWorld really came through for me for my wedding. Aside from being an absolutely beautiful resort that truly makes you feel like you are on a tropical island somewhere, the staff members are by far the most helpful, gracious, and efficient staff members I have ever worked with! When my original venue unexpectedly went out of business, I found Doubletree to be such a blessing. Mike went above and beyond to make sure that my wedding was what I always hoped it would be. He was completely willing to go the extra mile to make my day perfect. Although he sometimes took awhile to respond back to emails or phone calls and at times seemed to make offers he couldn't quite follow through on, we were more than happy with the outcome of our wedding at Doubletree. Everything came together beautifully, and I would definitely recommend booking your wedding at the Doubletree!

  It was very important that we have a central location/venue to have both our ceremony and reception in, that was close to the attractions but still fun for all of our guests of all ages. We have stayed at the Doubletree several times and were always happy with their service, so we thought we would check them out for our wedding. We booked that day of our walk-through, and it was amazing. The location was perfect, the ambiance was great, and the hotel/venue was very accommodating and amazing! Thank you so much for allowing us to have our dream wedding there!

  It was very important that we have a central location/venue to have both our ceremony and reception in, that was close to the attractions but still fun for all of our guests of all ages. We have stayed at the Doubletree several times and were always happy with their service, so we thought we would check them out for our wedding. We booked that day of our walk-through, and it was amazing. The location was perfect, the ambiance was great, and the hotel/venue was very accommodating and amazing! Thank you so much for allowing us to have our dream wedding there!

  Wedding Weekend

  I worked with Maria to plan my wedding and she was very incompetent. She never answered her phone or responded to my voicemails and only communicated with us via email. We also had to remind her multiple times to reply all so me and my fiance could both see the emails. My wedding was supposed to be in the outside pavilion and 6 days before the event she told me that the number of people, stage, and dance floor would not fit. I even met with her two weeks prior to the wedding to review the layout and she said it wouldnt be a problem. So 5 days before the wedding we moved the event to one of the inside ballrooms. The resort is very large and spacious and you can easily get lost. I asked Maria and Alberto to set up signs in the lobby to help direct everyone, however they didn't and many of my guests had trouble finding the ballroom.
  
  The ballroom itself was beautiful and the wait staff very were attentive. They did also allow us to bring outside food. However, there are hundreds of hotels in Orlando, so overall I'd recommend finding another hotel to do your wedding in.

  Doubletree was fine in that our guests had a place to sleep for our wedding at a reasonable price, but that’s about all I can say for them. The booking process for our room block was no end of confusion, and pretty much as soon as I was too far in to change to a different hotel I regretted my choice. It was almost impossible to get in contact with anyone about the block—I finally wrote a letter to their corporate office after reaching out 4 times and never hearing back. At that point Donna Waller reached out to me very apologetically, and was helpful for about two weeks. Then she got bored of dealing with me, I guess, and made it very clear that this wasn’t actually her job (even though she was the one who had reached out to me saying she would help, and had never indicated a different person I should be interacting with) and I really should be talking to someone else. The only reason I was being so “needy” was because the block filled up multiple times and they didn’t contact me in any way, it got to a point where checking once a week to make sure the block was available and showing the correct price (and emailing them to fix it on the frequent occasions when it wasn’t) was just part of my routine.
  Once we arrived and checked in there was literally no acknowledgement at all that we were a) getting married the next day or b) had brought them a tremendous amount of business because of it. When my wonderful (now) husband went to the desk to ask to pay for an amenity to make the hotel room where we were spending our wedding night at least a little special the woman at the desk did kindly offer an upgrade—her kind gesture is the only reason I’m even giving Doubletree two stars. Wedding blocks are a tricky thing in Orlando—I guess everyone has enough business that they don’t really care about ours, but I have to believe that somewhere else would have treated us at least a little better. Learn from my experience—don’t use Doubletree for your wedding block.
