My husband and I used Don Paella for catering to our wedding and also got 2 bartenders!!! We could not have been more happier with them! Bartenders were great, professional and very friendly! The food was great and all our guest thought the same, even someone told me it was the best wedding food they ever had!!! I would totally recommend this place for any event!!! I look forward to using them again. -

Don Paella was recommended by my wedding vendor and were very pleasant to work with. My fiance had one request for the dinner at our reception: "no 'wedding food!'" We all know what that's like- lifeless and dry pieces of chicken, reheated potato puffs, soggy salads.
Duos was nothing of the sort-needless to say, we were delighted! -

Quick responses prior to wedding and after. Great service. Arrived on time to wedding. And the most amazing appetizers and paella!!!! I would throw apther party just to have them make me paella. If I didn't love 400 miles away, I would be eating there every week! -

Very professional service. I needed a paella (which was very tasty) and although i got the paella with half a lobster tail for every other person i had no complaints on the portion. Plus i had another entree option through a different vendor. teh Paella was very colorful and they were flexible in the area where it was cooked because you do have to provide a covered area. my food area was a covered driveway at a private residence. I also hired a bartender and servers. everything worked out perfect. The only thing my husband questioned was there was no call during the week of the event from the vendor but they answered our early morning call the day of the wedding and assured us everything and everybody we hired would be there. great service and food. -

Don Paella staff was amazing and professional. They catered our rehearsal dinner and the food and service was exceptional. Our guest could not stop talking about the food quality. It was great and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I recommend the Pig Roast.. Exceptional -

My first experience with Don Paella, the occasion- "My Wedding" on March 8, 2015, and what an AWESOME experience it was. First of all, with short notice (less than one month from event date) I dealt with Youry in the office. He was very professional, helpful, and just great to deal with. The day of the Wedding (for 200 persons), Jorge and his Assistant(his wife) arrived, set up, and served at the scheduled time. They were AMAZING. Very courteous, professional, and friendly. It was a joy to have them at my Wedding and to serve my guests. As quickly and efficiently as they set up, they also cleaned up leaving the area just as they found it. I am extremely impressed with Don Paella and fully recommend them to Family and Friends. My Guests (our loved ones) were extremely pleased and loved the food. Don Paella you've made a fan out of me. Thank you !!! and God's blessings on your business and those who made this experience truly AMAZING and AWESOME !!!! -

Their service is the best! Their food is not like any other, very simple yet delicious! It was a great hit. Not being such a typical "wedding style" feast, everyone thought it was a fun yet different idea. -

Excellent job from start to finish. The students loved the Paella and Arroz con Pollo that was provided at our annual Hispanic Heritage Month event. They also loved being able to see the food prepared and cooked right in front of them, so that they could learn about this traditional dish. -

I will use this vendor for any future events that we have, and we have plenty. I was so impressed with the Chef, his interaction with our guests, many of which didn't know what a Paella was, his disposition.... well, i can't say enough. The food was excellent with plenty of seafood and the seasoning was great. The portion was more than we expected and we were able to have leftovers for the next day! I strongly recommend this vendor. -

Youry Tundidor has made the most amazing Paella ever. Everyone that attended the wedding raved about how delicious and and professional Youry staff was. His salads are AMAZING! Tostones AMAZING! You can taste the freshness of his food. Everybody at the event is served a good portion of food nice a hot. None of that cheap pre-coked food.(cold)... In the end I'm extremely grateful I used Don Paella Catering services. Even though I know i changed the menu MANY times Youry was understanding and did what had to get done right away. I recommend Don Paella 100% and will definitely us them for all my upcoming events. -

I wanted to take the time to give a shout out to Don Paella for making my Engagement Party extra special. The Paella was the best tasting Paella we've had...it was delicious!!! We asked Don Paella to provide enough food (Paella, Salad, Maduros, Bread) for 80 people, and thankfully, they provided enough for 100 guests. Getting in touch with this company was easy and stress free. The entire experience was stress free! I called a week in advance to change the number of guests and it was no problem. Invoices were sent to my e-mail immediately, making the line of the communication very open. They came promptly at the time they said they would, and served dinner to our guests with great professionalism. Last but not least, their food is amazing! Thank you so much! -

They cooked up a Valenciana paella with seafood instead of chicken at my wedding on south beach in January 2011 at the Betsy Hotel Roof Deck. The food, the guys, the whole experience was awesome. I ordered for 70 persons and they made enough for over 100 persons at a fabulous price. You can also bring your own seafood to add which we did, I give them the highest possible recommendation....and don't forget the tostones, they are awesome! -

I called Don Paella two weeks prior to my event when I had a change of heart about the catering. They did everything possible to make my wedding special with the short notice. The food was amazing, the presentation was beautiful. I received continuous raves about the food choice from the guests. Hiring Don Paella was the best decision I made. My husband and I recommend them highly to anyone having a party that they want to make special. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. It felt like I had friends making the paella and pig roast, they really had my back and made my family affair unforgettable. We will definitely use them in the future. -

Don Paella was great. Their food was the main event for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. They were easy to work with, arrived on schedule, and prepared a delicious meal for 100 guests right in front of us. We could not have been happier with their service and food. Tasty and fun! -

Don Paella did an excellent job catering our wedding. So many people told us it was the best wedding food they every had. They have great prices too! They were very flexible with our wedding schedule and needs. Will defitnitly hire again for future parties! -

These folks are the real thing. Have used them for wedding of Son (75 people), and also 50th Wedding anniversary of my parents (over 200 people) and for several smaller events such as a leisurely afternoon by the pool with friends & family. Their Paella is very tasty, will decorate depending on event and the chef is well-groomed, friendly and attentive to details. -

Don Paella Catering provided delicious, authentic, plentiful, and artistic meals for our tropical sunset wedding in the Keys!
They were able to provide party rentals, food, planning and the help! A personal chef prepared the meal on site and our guests raved about the quality and taste. True caterers, professional and organized.

The provided catering service for my wedding and they were fantastic! Their food is delicious. Hands down the best catered wedding food ive ever had. Their appetizers are also to die for! I highly recommend them for any event. I will confess, it is a bit hard to get in contact with them as it is primarily ran by the owner himself Youry. But be persistent. It is 100% worth it, trust me!! -

Don Paella catered my daughter's Quince (Sweet Fifteen) in Delray Beach, FL. We had over 200 guest dinner was served buffet style. We had the roast pork, congri, and pallea valenciana. The food was delicious better than expected! The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. They also provided a bartender that did an amazing job. If you are looking for a company that is reliable, affordable, and serves quality delicious food Don Paella is the one. Thank you Don Paella for making our event a success -

Everything went beautifully. The cooks came on time. They were delightful to work with. They prepared everything very efficiently and cleaned up with equal efficiency. The foods were delicious and very much enjoyed.
My only complaint was the difficulty in reaching the owner by phone. Once reached, he was very helpful and everything proceeded smoothly. -

I hired Don Paella's catering services for my wedding in Islamorada. They travelled from Miami and arrived on time ready to work. The seafood paella was amazing! All of my guests could not stop talking about how good the food was. I was also told that the appetizers were incredible. The food, in general, had many praises and many of the guests ate seconds.
My only complain with Don Paella would be the bar tenders. They did not seem very experienced. I had a signature drink at each bar and when I went to order one, the bar tender did not know what I was referring to. Also, they left out tip jars on top of the bar and walked around with a tray of shots (and a tip jar). We had asked that the tip jars not be placed out but they were.
Overall, I would recommend using Don Paella for the food DEFINATELY! If you hire them for the bar, just give clear instructions beforehand. -

Don Paella catered my wedding rehearsal. I called Youry a few days before the rehearsal dinner to confirm the rehearsal date and time and it took two days for a response so it was a stressful two days before the caterer confirmed they will be on time. I scheduled the dinner to start at 7PM and Youry confirmed they will be at my home at 5PM to begin cooking. It turned 5PM and no one showed. I waited until 5:30PM and called Youry only to be told his staff will be there any minute and not to be worried since my guest size was small and dinner should still be served on time at 7PM. His staff did not show until 6:15PM, 45 minutes after I called so they were an hour and 15 minutes late! Dinner was served a little after 8PM so my guests had to wait an hour and were very hungry. I'm really disappointed with the lateness and don't consider them to be reliable. No apology from Youry or anything and I was still charged the full amount. I don't live in South Florida and was having an out of town wedding. To make things more difficult his staff was not English-speaking and made communication even harder and I had to ask one of my guests to translate for me when he should have been enjoying the party. I ordered tostones and found them bland but did enjoy the paella. I rented plates from Don Paella as well but because they were late I had to serve appetizers on paper plates for a rehearsal dinner. Totally ghetto. Overall I would hesitate to call up Youry and use his services again unless I get an apology and explanation on why they were so late. -

Incompetent and unprofessional
My brother hired Don Paella to cater his wedding recently. He and his wife hired 4 servers, 2 bartenders, and a wedding coordinator. To start, the wedding coordinator was no where to be found the entirety of the wedding. My family arrived at the wedding venue at 4pm to take wedding photos and nothing was done. My brother’s wife’s family was scrambling to finish setting up (which should have been done by those hired and paid to assist with pre wedding set up). My family did not get to take any pictures before the wedding ceremony due to the incompetence of those hired. Guests were arriving and the bride and grooms families were still helping setup, so the ceremony started an hour late. During the reception, only 2 servers assisted with drinks/cleanup when 4 servers were hired. The food was good and my family received compliments but my mom paid for food for 120 people and due to covid there were only 80 guests at the wedding. There was barely any food to spare, so if all 120 guests were able to attend the wedding they would have gone hungry. The only time the wedding coordinator showed her face was to charge my mother. My mom contacted the owner to express her frustration with the service provided and he was extremely rude and screamed and cursed at her. I am recently engaged and I would never use this company for any event due to the incompetence and unprofessionalism my family experienced. Hire Don Paella at your own risk!! -

Unprofessional
Horrible service and very unprofessional!! I do not recommend hiring this company for any event that has significant meaning. My daughter was urged to hire the owner’s wife as the day of event coordinator in order to make sure that we could spend time together getting ready and to be able to enjoy the special moments of her big day. We ended up having to set up and coordinate the flow of the events ourselves, as the evening progressed. After not completing her job, my daughter was haggled, while on the dance floor of her wedding, to pay the remaining portion of the bill (without even being able to review it). After writing an email about the evening, the response from the owner was filled with unprofessional argumentative comments- there was no resolution offered. -

Terrible experience!!
We hired waiters Youry assured us could help with the setup or anything else that needed to be done. We also hired his wife as the coordinator, big mistake!! The coordinator didn’t coordinate and the waiters stood around while the wedding party set up. Huge disappointment and waste of money. Youry the owner called me a liar when I addressed it while him while he yelled at the top of his lungs! Totally unprofessional. I noticed most of the positive reviews are for small backyard gatherings. They couldn’t pull off our wedding. Would NOT recommend. -
