    Great decision, go with Deb!!

    Deb Minarik (herself!!) was our day-of planner, and she absolutely nailed it. She made it possible for us to actually relax and soak everything in, while she handled all the behind-the-scenes logistics and moving parts seamlessly. You can tell she’s incredibly experienced—she kept everything running smoothly and made us feel completely at ease the entire time.

    She was also fantastic in the lead-up, with several virtual check-ins to make sure we felt heard and that everything was on track. Truly couldn’t have asked for better. Highly, highly recommend!

    8/2/25 Wedding w/ Kristin Patton

    We used Kristin Patton as our Day of Coordinator for our 8/2/25 wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! From the moment we first connected with Kristin she was super communicative and on top of things. We planned our wedding ourselves and were really just looking for someone to help us on the actual day, but Kristin did so much more than that. She had a few Zoom calls with us in the months leading up to our wedding and she was so helpful making sure we weren’t forgetting anything, especially those small details that fly under the radar and then surprise you at the last minute. We cannot stress how helpful Kristin was on the day of our wedding - she came to my hotel bridal suite in the morning during hair and makeup and transported my dress and my husband’s tuxedo to our venue, helped organize the items for the details shots for the photographers, hung up my dress, helped me get ready and so much more. She accompanied us when we went to take our portraits at a park down the road from our venue and helped me with my dress, made sure I had water (it was a warm August day!) and was just so supportive and comforting. I’m sure there was a ton more that she did that we didn’t even notice! Kristin is dependable, efficient and responsible. I had been on the fence about hiring a DOC because I knew that the maitre d’ and team at our venue were great and I wasn’t sure we really needed one, but we are so glad that we had Kristin and wouldn’t have had it any other way! You won’t regret working with her!

    Kristin Patton

    Every time someone asked if I was feeling stressed leading up to the wedding, my answer was always, “Not at all—we have the best wedding planner!” Kristin made the entire planning process feel smooth and manageable from start to finish. She gave us excellent vendor recommendations, was incredibly professional, and stayed on top of every little detail—always following up with vendors and keeping us organized in the months leading up to the big day.

    And when the day finally arrived, it was flawless. Kristin handled everything behind the scenes so we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. She even went above and beyond during the reception and sewed my dress when the bustle broke! I can’t imagine our wedding without her and couldn’t recommend working with her more. She’s a dream to work with and truly made our day perfect.

    Suzanne for our day of coordinator!

    We worked with Suzanne for day of coordination and she was amazing! She was super detail oriented and very available for all of the questions and coordination that I had the months/weeks leading up to our wedding. She helped make our day incredibly seamless and stress free. With all of the random things that I would have never thought would pop up during the day, she handled them without hesitation. I’m so grateful she helped with our special day!

    Highly Recommend!

    We have heard a lot of stories about day of coordinators, and were hesitant to hire someone to help us with coordination. We worked with Kristin who went above and beyond to help us with everything we could need! From 3 months out she was available, made timelines, and reached out to vendors. She was instrumental the day of, making sure we had everything with us as well as coordinating a ton of behind the scene logistics. We appreciate her hard work so much and would recommend her to anyone!

    A True Angel

    We had Rebecca Risi from Deborah Minarik Events for our 6/8/24 wedding. Becca was incredible. She started about three months out from our wedding. Throughout those few months we had numerous phone/ video calls and she was always available for assistance. She is a true professional with tons of experience. She offered solutions to every pre-wedding hiccup. On the day of the wedding, she ran the show. She arrived at our getting ready location, had her assistant Lauren transport all my personal belongings and decor to the venue, steamed the bridesmaid dresses, offered me water and snacks as needed and made sure we were on time for departure to the venue. She carried a Mary Poppins bag with anything you could possibly ever want or need. Becca set up the processional and continued to make sure things were running smoothly and on time throughout the evening. Hosting a DIY wedding, I truly don't know what I would have done without her. I will miss our phone calls and texts as she is seriously the most calming and genuine person. A presence you would be remised to be without on your wedding day.

    Amazing!

    If you're debating whether to team up with Deborah Minarik Events, let me assure you – don't hesitate, just go for it! Amidst all the wedding expenses, I can guarantee it's worth every penny. We tied the knot last week, and our wedding was an absolute dream, thanks to our Day-of-Coordinator (actually, she was with us for the month leading up to it), Becca. She's truly exceptional. Despite my meticulous organization, I still felt overwhelmed thinking about how everything would come together on the big day. But every time I spoke with Becca, my stress visibly eased. She exuded comfort and confidence, assuring me that she'd orchestrate our wedding flawlessly. Her attention to detail is remarkable; she anticipates every little thing you might overlook in the lead-up to your wedding and liaises directly with all your vendors to ensure everyone's on the same page. We encountered a few bumps in the road in the days before, but Becca was right there with us, navigating through them step by step. Honestly, I don't know how I would've coped without her expertise and reassurance. Our wedding day felt perfect to us, but who knows how many potential mishaps Becca shielded us from (we'll probably never know). She wore a constant bright smile, kept us informed about everything running smoothly, checked in with us throughout the day and night to make sure we were okay, and simply allowed us to savor our special day without worrying about the minor details.     Everything Ran So Smoothly Thanks to Kristin!!

    We hired Kristin as our day-of planner for our wedding on June 1, 2024, but it truly felt like she was with us every step of the way. Leading up to the wedding, we had multiple calls to perfect our timeline, and she effectively communicated all updates with our vendors.

    On the wedding day, Kristin came fully prepared. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to her. We stuck to the timeline, got all of our photos in, and she ensured the evening ran just as smoothly - all while capturing the day simultaneously. Kristin was ready for every situation and expertly managed a lively bridal party. She handled all the day-of details, including distributing envelopes, arranging place cards, and even providing us with mints before walking down the aisle. We highly recommend Kristin if you want to enjoy your special day without worrying about the small stuff.

    Becca was an Amazing

    My wife Kayce and I were extremely lucky to have been paired up with Becca from Deborah Minarik Events for our Long Island Wedding in early June 2023. We elected to have Becca help us with day of planning and coordination, but she really did so much more leading up to the event that really put us at ease. Most notably she contacted all of our vendors and established a timeline for the entire wedding day that put us, our family, and bridal party all at ease. She made it all come together so nicely and had an exceptional working relationship with our venue (Mansion at Timber Point). I would whole heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Becca and Deborah Minarik Events for your upcoming wedding.

    Amazing! Best vendor I booked for my wedding!

    I hired Stephanie as my day-of coordinator for my wedding and she truly exceeded all of my expectations. In the weeks leading up, she was in contact with all of my vendors and I really felt that I was able to trust that she had everything under control. She was organized, paid attention to every detail and set up everything exactly how I described. Unfortunately, it rained (downpoured) on the day of my outdoor ceremony and reception, but Stephanie was already working on plan B and was able to take control and handle everything! She even convinced the venue to allow things that they would not have permitted otherwise. I sincerely feel that she cared about making the day special and beautiful and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She was a pleasure to work with and hiring her was the best decision I made when planning my wedding.

    Amazing to work with!

    I decided to look into a day of coordinator later in the wedding planning process. Everyone online had recommended Deb and her team, now I understand why! They said she was the best of the best, especially for the Bourne Mansion! Everyone was right! Deb took time to reassure me and listen to me vent during the hectic & stressful months leading up to the wedding. She guided me throughout the planning process and always made herself available for any questions/concerns I had. When wedding day came, she arrived to my hotel room and I immediately could relax knowing my wedding day was in good hands! It was so important to my mom and me (type A/controlling LOL) that we could be relaxed and hands off on wedding day. Deb made sure everything was taken care of (exactly how I had envisioned) and we were carefree. It was easy to let go of control and stay calm once I met Deb. My mom and I both agreed—we felt like queens! If you are a bride and considering a day of coordinator/planning services, hire Deb! She was absolutely stellar, we cannot rave about her enough! Thank you so much Deb and your team for helping make my day so wonderful!!!!

    Worth it - day of coordination

    Deb was absolutely wonderful! We hired her as a day of coordinator and I'm so happy we did! She made a timeline that worked for us, coordinated all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on point that day of the wedding! The day ran so smoothly with her help with no stress to me and my husband so we were able to just enjoy the day!

    Best Decision I Made

    Booking Deb as my day-of-coordinator was likely the best decision I made for my wedding. Having planned everything myself, Deb and her team helped me finalize/perfect my day of schedule and they reached out to all of my vendors the week of to confirm everyone was on the same page. As soon as Deb arrived on site with us (early, while we were getting our hair and makeup done), I never had to think about anything again. I was able to be present and in the moment while Deb handled questions, coordinated with the vendors arriving and dropping things off, making sure all of the shuttles were on schedule, making sure everyone was where they needed to be, and I am so appreciative of that. If I could give one piece of advice to all future brides - it's to book Deb for any/all of your planning needs. Thank you so much Deb and team for making my day better than I could've ever imagined!!

    Deb is Amazing!

    Deb and her team were absolutely amazing leading up to our wedding and on the day of. We purchased a significant amount of decor and signage for our wedding and Deb and her team handled everything impeccably l, including packing up a uhaul of goodies at the end of the night. Deb also made sure the day ran smoothly dealing with vendors who were late, coordinating payments and keeping us on schedule so my mom and I could just relax the day of. Deb felt like family by the end of our wedding and as an extremely type-a bride I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator!

    Kristin was our planner & day of coordinator. She helped me every step of the planning process and I could not have done it without her. She was amazing in every way, constantly on top of every detail and making sure everything was perfect. Even the venue staff was bragging about how amazing she was at making sure everyone was on the same page and running smoothly.     Deb Fan Club!

    We loved working with Deb and Stephanie and the team. Initially, since we had a small and local wedding, we didn’t think we’d need a day-of planner, and now I shudder to think what would’ve happened on wedding day without her!! From catching minor discrepancies in show order between the venue and the DJ, to generally keeping me alive that day, Deb made a crazy day so easy. She’s sweet, fun, and sharp. The best!!!

    Day of Coordinator

    Where to begin! Deb was the best money we spent for our entire wedding. Before booking, we questioned if a DOC was something we really needed and I honestly don’t know how we would’ve done it without her. Whether it was her or Stephanie, either one of them were always available leading up to the wedding to talk through anything. They also went over the timeline with me and my husband multiple times before the wedding so we were never guessing what/when was happening. The day of, she was there and took care of legitimately everything. She had drinks ready and in our hands while we were taking so many pictures, got a stain out of my dress right before walking down the aisle, and even had contact solution to give me when my contacts were bothering me towards the end of the night. She made everything run so smoothly and gave everyone sense of calmness. I could not recommend her enough, you need her!

    You Need Deb!

    Deb is an amazing Day-of-Coordinator and such a wonderful person. From our first phone call at the beginning of wedding planning, all the way up to the last minute before I stepped on the bus at the end of our reception, she was there for anything and everything we possibly needed. No task was too big or too small for her to take care of. She was friendly, easy-going and listened to our vision and then helped make it a reality. Deb and her Office Manager, Stephanie spent so much time and effort putting together our day of timeline. They were constantly checking in with us and all our vendors and making sure everything was on track leading up to the big day. Knowing I had her and Stephanie double and triple checking in with all our vendors put me at ease the week of the wedding. On our wedding day, Deb arrived on time and made sure we stayed on and even ahead of schedule. The biggest decision that we needed to make that day was whether or not to do our ceremony inside or outside and Deb was there checking the weather throughout the day, coming up with alternate ideas/options, and was in constant contact with our venue and florist. Other than that, we didn't have to think or worry about anything else because Deb was there already taking care of it! I LOVED working with Deb and I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone looking to hire a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator. HIRE DEB! You won't regret it!

    Truly Amazing!!!

    Deborah and her team were better than I could have ever hoped for when it comes to planning our wedding. They provided us with important knowledge, helped us whenever we needed, and conducted themselves with professionalism throughout the process. During our wedding day, Deborah took care of everything.     Wedding MVP

    After we had a first phone call to decide if we needed a DOC, we knew it had to be Deb. When we finally met in person at our venue, my husband could physically see the stress being removed from my shoulders. Deb was a literal angel on the day of our wedding. She is the main reason I was able to remain calm and stress free days leading up to the big day. She took care of every detail and was able to answer any questions my bridal party had. She was on her hands and knees during the reception fixing my bustle. I was jumping around and dancing a little too hard and 2 of my original buttons popped off. Deb was right there with safety pins. She sewed my FIL's button back on during pictures when it popped off his tux. She boxed everything up from both the Bridal and Groom Suites. HIRE HER! She makes everything so effortless that you get to enjoy the day and not worry about a thing.

    Deb and team were recommended to us by our venue manager. From the first moment, it was clear that Deb and team are extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable!

    We were assigned Kristin, who was a literal angel sent to us from the heavens. She was caring and direct. She wouldn't take no for an answer and wanted to do whatever she could to make our day that much better (spoiler: she did!).     Wedding MVP

    There is no need to hire anyone else. Deb is amazing! I thought I was going to be able to be the bride who does it all alone- so false. Deb makes everything seem effortless and helps yours truly enjoy your special day. She walked in the room at 1030 and by the time she got back everything was set up, everyone was paid all while I was sipping on champagne with curlers in my hair. She even made sure the boys were going to be ready on time! Deb spent hours with me on the phone/email making sure my bridal vision came true. She walked me through every set of the planning process (even canceling during COVID) and once the day got closer she took care of EVERYTHING! Hiring Deb was the best decision I could have made.

    Couldn't have done it without them!!

    Deborah and Kristin are the best! We booked our wedding at Greenport Harbor Brewery and knew we needed to hire a day-of coordinator since this was not a typical wedding venue. I initially spoke with Deborah on the phone and she immediately calmed my nerves about planning. She took the time to go over my vision for that day and gave me suggestions for vendors that I still needed to hire even before we booked with DME. She put me in contact with Kristin from her team who would be our day of coordinator. Kristin is an actual miracle worker! She was extremely responsive and flexible and went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding, as well as in the weeks leading up to it. Kristin was so organized, professional and detail-orientated and ensured the day went smoothly. We are so thankful to Kristin for making our day unforgettable and perfect and would highly recommend Deborah Minarik Events to everyone!!

    Perfect day!

    Deborah Minarik Events is the best! Deborah & her crew were awesome. Having a unique wedding, I never imagined it all coming together but putting my trust into DME was the best decision I made. They understood what we wanted and executed it perfectly. From vendor suggestions and as the bride, not having to worry about anything the day of. Suzanne even went out of her way to help walk and feed my dog (the ring bearer) so that I could enjoy every moment. They made my day perfect! I felt like a princess thanks to them!

    Simply put, Deb is the absolute best. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process, and she flawlessly executed on my wedding day.     Deborah is amazing and made the wedding feel so easy!

    We started planning our wedding pre-pandemic and had worked with Deborah to plan all the details for our wedding. When our wedding had to be postponed, she worked out all the details with the vendors and switched everything around. I was really stressed about how it was going to work out but Deborah worked her magic and rescheduled all my vendors. Come wedding day. I felt like we were able to enjoy the entire day without being stressed and that was amazing! Deborah was easy to work with and reachable via email and phone which was amazing. I would recommend Deborah to anyone that's looking to plan a wedding as she is trusting, honest and organized!!

    Do not look any further - hire deborah immediately

    After getting engaged every couple has the critical conversation of whether to hire a coordinator or to manage the logistics themselves. As we entered the serious planning stage, it made it more apparent that a coordinator would be helpful to manage all of our day of logistics and vendor contracts. Our wedding turned out to be magical and perfect and Deborah was absolutely essential in making that happen. She is so knowledgeable, knows how to handle any situation, so responsive, and personable. She also knew the best vendors who were talented, kind, easy to work with, and the most reasonably priced. After visiting all our vendors together and going through all the planning steps, Deborah quickly felt like family. We wouldn’t want anyone else by our sides during contract negotiations, last second ice purchasing at the supermarket, or figuring out where lost family members are. It was a super smooth and enjoyable process and we would recommend her 10 out of 10 to anyone and everyone asking themselves if they need planning/executing help.

    Flawless execution, phenomenal team

    Booking Deb in May of 2019 for my Sept 2021 (originally 2020) wedding was one of the best decisions I could've made. She was incredibly supportive during what many experienced as a difficult and uncertain time, and helped me to rebook everything for a year later, resulting in the ability to perfectly execute the original plan in 2021. Despite Deb being booked for my new date, she still was part of the planning process until the end and delivered me an amazing day-of coordinator in Jenna, as well as an amazing design specialist in Janet. It can be a little nerve-racking as you're waiting for everything to come together at the last minute, but you can truly trust Deb and her team to execute everything beautifully. Deb even managed to stop by towards the end of my celebration after the event she had been booked for, which meant so much. Everyone that Deb offered to assist day-of from her team was wonderful, and our vendors were truly spectacular (all found through Deb's recommendation). Our wedding was one where everything had to be brought in, we were dealing with a variety of permits, working across multiple locations, and it really couldn't have been more perfect. I cannot recommend Deb and her team enough- they are excellent at what they do and they are wonderful people.

    Such a great partner

    We started planning a wedding in 2019 at Garden City Hotel, which was obviously delayed until 2021. It was an incredibly stressful and challenging time (for the world!) but Deborah really helped make this wedding as painless as possible. She understood the kind of people we were, understood our COVID fears, and really helped coordinate and re-coordinate so many of the details. We feel lucky to have worked with her (my dad even loved her and he is difficult to please!)

    Hire Deb and Live Stress Free!

    Deb makes your day perfect. It is uncanny how much she does to make your day run smoothly, and before you even think of something, she’s done it. We each always had a fresh signature drink, she took any cards people handed us, she bustled my wife’s dress, she sewed buttons that flew off groomsmen tuxedos… what didn’t she do? Deb prepares a perfect timeline of your entire day, and keeps things running as they should. She also handles all of the vendors- need the band to make an announcement? Want the photographer to take a certain shot? Deb is all over it before you finish the sentence. Deb takes out any stress you have on your wedding day. Starting at the hotel, she ran between rooms delivering pre-wedding notes, she got lunch to everyone, cleaned up after it, had the marriage license ready, etc. Once at the venue, she was the first to direct the bridal party, the families, the officiant, etc. In our thank you text to her we called her an angel because it was like she was sent from heaven. Oh, and on top of everything- we hired her as day-of coordinator, but she was always available before and after the actual date for anything we needed. We already had vendors booked, but she confirmed everything, got everyone’s contact info in case anything happened the day of, and followed up with vendors after the wedding if needed. Hiring Deb is such a no brainer.

    Truly the best!

    My husband and I had the best wedding a few weeks ago! We enjoyed every minute of the day and a lot of that was due to Jenna from Deborah Minarik Events. From the minute Jenna walked into the room where I was getting ready with my bridesmaids, I felt at ease that she was there. She did so much for us throughout the whole day!

    I think anyone who gets married on Long Island should have Deborah's team there. I cannot say thank you enough! I always dreamed of my wedding day since I was very little & it was all so perfect (even through the little hiccups) thanks to Jenna's help!

    Hiring DME - Best Decision Ever!

    Deborah Minarik came highly recommended to us by Crossing Midnight, our wedding band who we trust immensely. From the minute we reached out to Deborah in June of 2020, we knew we needed to work with her. She was unbelievably responsive, but most of all kind and compassionate. Within 20 minutes of speaking with her, we immediately booked her for Day of Coordinator services for our May 1, 2021 wedding.

    Throughout Fall 2020 and Winter 2021, Deborah continued to be responsive and listen to our worries and concerns. When we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person “micro wedding” on May 1, 2021 and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, Deborah was right there to assure us that everything would work out.

    Leading up to May 1st, we were assigned Kristin as our Day of Coordinator. Kristin met with us and helped to organize our wedding day itinerary, which still involved a decent amount of logistics even though we were still only having 50 people. She followed up with all of our vendors leading up to May 1st to confirm details and timing, as well. Both Deborah and Kristin showed up at our rehearsal on April 30th and even though we were meeting them in person for the first time, it felt like we had known them for years. They were prepared and knew the details of our mass in and out.

    On the morning of May 1st, Kristin texted us when she was on her way and asked if we needed any last minute items. As soon as she arrived, though, is when we saw the value of having the Deborah Minarik team with us in action. Kristin swooped in and ensured that every single detail (big and small) was handled accordingly. She checked in on the groom, dads and groomsmen to make sure they were all ready, made sure the bride, moms and bridesmaids had all eaten enough and set up all accessories for detailed photos. Kristin worked closely with our photographer and videographer throughout the day to make sure that every photo we wanted was taken and even held the cathedral veil and train throughout countless photos to ensure the perfect shot was taken. When we arrived at our venue, Kristin checked to make sure everything had been set up as requested. She even went to great lengths to find a banner we thought had gone missing and needed for a picture, and even offered to drive back to the hotel to get it (thankfully it ended up being under the sweetheart table).

    Not once during the day, did we stress about logistics. Kristin was a calming presence and we were so lucky to have her with us. Having her there throughout the day allowed us to be worry-free and truly enjoy every single moment. Hiring Deborah and her team was one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful that we’ll get to work with them again in March 2022. We highly recommend booking them ASAP!

    Our Wedding

    I don’t even know where to start with this review of Deborah. Deb was my wedding coordinator for my recent wedding 7/4/21 and was a complete angel! She made sure the day was beyond perfect and went without a hitch even though our wedding venue tried to throw every curve ball our way. She was there every single step of the way for my husband and I making sure we had everything that we needed to make our day absolutely perfect. She went out of her way the entire month of the wedding even finding me a last minute hair stylist when my hair person had to drop out 4 days before my wedding. Deb became more like family by the end of our wedding. She is the best of the best. You won’t find anyone sweeter, more caring, or more helpful in the business. She is by far the best decision we made when it came to the our wedding, and would chose her again a 100 times over!

    Amazing Group of Women

    Choosing to go with Deborah Minarik Events was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I was lucky enough to have the magical Becky as my coordinator. She went above and beyond for us, there really aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am.     best decision we ever made!

    We originally were not going to hire a planner, we figured with all the tool online, we would be fine. I am SO happy we decided to go with DME. Deb was our planner and was so immensely help. She knew exactly what to do with weird wedding curve balls, kept us updated regarding covid regulations, and was just an overall amazing support. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we know it would have been less so without Deb.

    Deborah took care of everything!

    Mother of the Bride here... Deborah was the Angel I didn’t know I needed! My daughter hired her as the day of event coordinator, and I wasn’t convinced it was necessary, but boy was I wrong! Deborah attended to every detail - from steaming bridesmaid dresses to making sure everything was at church, everyone got on the bus, every photo got taken, everything was packed up at the venue. And she did it all with warmth and a big smile. She was an amazing support — like a friend standing next to me. I got to enjoy our guests and had zero stress because it was all in Deborah’s good hands. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

    Don’t look for anyone else to help plan your wedding!

    Deb and her team truly were a prayer answered to make sure my daughter and son In law had their wedding reception after having it postponed 4 times. My daughter and son in law were married on April 3, 2020 in my home via zoom. Because of covid their reception was pushed off to December 26, 2020, but that fell through as well. After speaking with a friend we decided we were going to have the reception in her backyard on their 1 year anniversary. Again 3 weeks prior to that date we could not do it there, because of social gathering mandates would only allow 25 people in a backyard. Deb and her team tirelessly found a site that was not only affordable, but beautiful. We celebrated my daughter and son in law on May 1. 2021 at Camp Pa-qua-tuck in Center Moriches. Deb collaborated with the rental company we originally hired for the backyard wedding and helped with the process of the new location and everything we would need for this long awaited event. She was also in close contact with my caterer and every other vendor as well. There was nothing she couldn’t have done better to make this day one of the most happiest days for my daughter and son in law.
    Deb is such an amazing person, and I know that she takes pride in her profession, and her business. My heartfelt thanks to Debbie, Suzanne, Stephanie and the rest of her team for everything you all did to make what seemed like a day that was never going to happen to making it a perfect flawless day.

    Wonderful planner!

    Working with Deb and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were supposed to get married in September 2020 and when we decided to postpone until 2021, Deb was there to help us every step of the way and was always available to answer emails, texts and phone calls. Then when we decided to move everything up to New Year's Eve and forgo our September celebration, Deb could not have been more supportive and willing to make sure our intimate celebration was still special. Since Deb had another event, Kristin on her team was there to help us out on the big day and she was amazing! I could not be more grateful she was there. Even though it was a small event, there were still many things to juggle and she handled everything with ease, making sure we weren't stressed about a thing which was a priceless gift on our wedding day. Deb and her team rolled with all of the changes as our 150+ wedding became an intimate family gathering, on a holiday weekend, during the height of a pandemic, and I could not imagine what we would've done without them!! Highly recommend!

    Best Decision!!

    We were fortunate enough to work with Deb from Deborah Minarik Events as our day of coordinator and she was PHENOMENAL! We chose Deb after my now sister-in-law worked with Deb for her wedding in 2018. After seeing how amazing she was to my sister-in-law, I knew that it was a no brainer when it came time for our wedding.

    As a COVID bride (we got married in December 2020), I can't explain enough how imperative Deb was to our planning process. As guidelines were constantly changing, and my emotions were running high and low, Deb constantly reassured me that the wedding would be perfect no matter what. Although our original wedding plans did not come to fruition, our wedding was still beautiful, intimate, and I wouldn't change a thing - and a great deal of that is due to Deb.

    I honestly could not imagine our wedding day without her. She managed to have everything under control and made things run smoothly and effortlessly. I felt at ease knowing that Deb had everything planned, and knew when to move things according to the timeline she thoroughly made. She made sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there. When any concerns arose, Deb was ON IT. When I started to freeze outside after getting really phenomenal pictures (worth the freezing), she knew when it was time to take a break to make sure I was still happy and enjoying my wedding day. From the small little things you don't even think about to the big things, such as straightening/fixing my train and hair for pictures and walking down the aisle, to making sure we were fed, to bustling my dress, to making sure everyone received their payments and tips, to making sure we left the hotel and venue with all the important stuff that you are not thinking about in that moment (just to name a few of the many things) - Deb had it all taken care of.

    Not only did I LOVE Deb but all of our guests noticed how wonderful and professional she was without being intrusive. Without a doubt, you will be in great hands with Deb! 10000000000000x recommend!!

    Easily the best part of my wedding!

    I had the BEST experience with Deb from Deborah Minarik events for my November 2020 wedding. With all of the uncertainty in the world at the time, Deb was just what I needed. She not only was essentially my therapist through it but was so flexible and reassuring. She made everyday that seemed like a nightmare seamless in the days leading up. The 'joke' between my whole bridal party was "How do we get a Deb in our lives everyday". I didn't have to worry about anything the day of my wedding- between coordination and tipping and timing. It just made the day so much more enjoyable and stress free. I would recommend Deb and her company over and over again. It was the best money spent!

    Deb is the wedding angel you're searching for!

    I don't even know where to start but Deb was an absolute life saver!! We got married on September 18th and found Deb a few months prior once we knew COVID wasn't going anywhere. From my first call, Deb had the calming presence I so desperately needed. She helped us cancel our venue and once we found a private home to rent, she led us to an incredible catering team and rental companies. On the day of, she arrived early and just make magic happen. Our wedding party still talks about how much they loved her too!

    The QUEEN of Wedding Planning

    Where do I begin... Deb has done SO many parties for my family over the years, so I knew when we cancelled our destination wedding for the second time, and moved it to my parents home, that Deb was the only one for the job! She was organized, completely prepared for the insane task. The days leading up to our at home wedding were stressful to say the least, and Deb just took it all on her shoulders and handled it like the BOSS she is! We couldn't have pulled this wedding off without her, and for that I'll always be grateful! Anyone planning a wedding, either at home, or in a venue should be calling Deb, you'll thank me later!

    Debbie is an excellent planner!

    We hired Debbie to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding on Shelter Island. We're a "mature" couple and we thought we could do it without a planner, but on the recommendation of my sister, who is in the business, we called Debbie, and now I can't imagine how we could have pulled it off without her! Debbie was so much more than just a day-of coordinator - she worked with us for many, many weeks before our wedding, making sure we were meeting deadlines, remembering to take care of all the tiny little details - she even helped us with our seating chart when that task seemed like an impossible puzzle! She is so sweet and personable, we connected with her right away - she's honest, funny, reasonable, and so organized and professional. Our wedding day was flawless, thanks to her.     I worked with Debbie & Jenna for my Summer 2020 wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! They were there to help me every step of the way when I had to totally change my wedding plans.     Excellent Event Planner

    I would not even think about planning an event without Deborah Minarik Events. At first I was skeptical about needing a wedding planner, but in the end, she not only saved my daughter's wedding but made it the most beautiful day ever. My daughter had to replan a wedding when her original venue cancelled eight weeks before her date. Deborah was always on top of things, organized and professional. We had a lot of hurdles to overcome during the second planning and Deb kept us calm and made the day a total success. If it wasn't for Deborah, we also would have not known about Noah's Catering in Greenport, which was fabulous.

    Planner extraordinaire !

    Less than 3 weeks before we were scheduled to host my son’s rehearsal dinner the restaurant cancelled. Almost 250 miles from the location I had to find a trusting soul and up pops Deborah! It was with total blind faith I put my event in her knowledgeable hands. Not an easy task for this control freak!
    Within hours of contacting her she had the plan together. Tent and table appointment, Noah’s of Greenport as our catering option and all the miscellaneous pieces of the puzzle that comes with preparing an event.
    Her professionalism and attention to detail were perfect. Always available for a conversation or quick response to a text. I would not have been able to do it without her.

    The best decision you'll make!

    The best advice we got when planning our wedding was we needed to hire a day of coordinator (DOC). What people don’t tell you is don’t just need a DOC - you need Deb and her team! As a covid bride, Deb went beyond the duties of a day of coordinator to help navigate unknown territory to ensure our day was perfect. She was extremely helpful advising me on who to contact and when for postponing and made sure to check back in when I needed to start re-connecting with everyone in 2021. Her staff is beyond incredible and extremely helpful with planning the day of timeline and contacting all of our vendors the week of the wedding. They truly care about making your day the day of your dreams! The day of our wedding Deb flawlessly handled every detail or hiccup with absolute professionalism, my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything. My mom and I cannot wait to find the next thing for Deb to help us plan, she’s truly the kindest person!     The best!

    Deb and Becky are AMAZING!!! My husband and I got married on LI but we live in NC so planning a wedding from a distance can be a challenge, but with Deborah and Becky, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! They made planning our wedding enjoyable and took all the stress out of it. Deb had the best recommendations for vendors and I felt at so comfortable using people she trusted and of course, she was spot on! Becky was my DOC and she was on top of everything! There is no way I could’ve done it without her nor would I have wanted too. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding because no one came to me with questions – Becky took care of everything! She was also super prepared with her “Mary Poppins” bag full of everything you could ever imagine you *may* need.     Thank you Deborah!

    From the moment my fiancé and I hired Deborah we knew we no longer had to worry! Since day one she has been nothing but amazing. We had our wedding on Fire Island and the details that went into it were absolutely crazy and she kept me sane the whole time and always found an answer for our next situation. The day of our wedding she was calm the ENTIRE time. I don’t even know how she does that! All while staying so calm, she DID NOT miss a single beat. I woke up the morning after my wedding and couldn’t even believe how one person is capabale of doing as much as she did for us the day before. She cane with an actual suit case of every single thing a bride would need in case of an emergency. She ran up to the deli to get my nieces breakfast. The bridal part ran out of champagne and she comes walking back with bottles in her arms. She was with me from the moment I was getting ready in the morning till the moment my husband and I got to the house that night (she literally walked us home). This woman is actually super woman. My wedding wouldn’t have been a quarter of what it was without every last bit of her help. We can’t thank you enough Deborah!!

    So Helpful!

    Janet was my day of coordinator from Deborah Minarik Events and I honestly cannot describe how amazing my experience was with her. At the beginning of our wedding planning, we decided against a wedding planner, as it did not fit into our budget. Weeks before the wedding I had a little bit of a melt down and decided I needed someone there to support me with handling the vendors and timing the day of the wedding. I called her and she was there and ready to help me with anything and everything. Janet created a timeline for us, contacted all of the vendors, and was basically superwoman the day of the wedding. I didn’t really grasp just how helpful she would be until the day and wow was she amazing. Janet was with me the entire day of the wedding until the end of the reception when she loaded everything into the car for us. To give a few examples of specific things she did that were above and beyond; Janet went out and bought me lipstick as the makeup artist forgot to bring a backup for me, she went out again and got me gluten free bread as there was nothing at the hotel I could eat, and she made sure myself and bridesmaids were fed and hydrated throughout the day. I could not have dreamed of a better day and she was a main reason for that. If I would have been stressing about these details, I can for sure say I would not have been able to enjoy our wedding as much.

    Deborah was recommended to us by our venue, and we are so glad she was part of our day! From the start, Deborah helped me figure out solutions to tricky planning details, and offered great advice based on her experience and familiarity with our venue. I felt very confident in her hands!

    On the day of the wedding, Deborah was a rockstar! She helped organize all of my little day-of details for my photographer and videographer, and even steamed my veil! She kept everything moving according to schedule and was the one everyone turned to with questions. My family loved getting to know her.     Janet was a dream!

    I hired Janet as my DOC and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. As I do event planning in my 9-5, I knew that in order to fully enjoy my wedding that I would need to step back for the day and let someone else run the show. Janet was my calming force, even when the tent fell down over night and she came early and assured me everything would be fine (which it ended up being). She was thorough throughout our communication process and made sure everything ran so smoothly the day of. It was a true gift to be able to enjoy every part of my wedding thanks to Janet. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and would consider her a friend. If you are even a teensy bit on the fence about hiring Janet or any of the ladies from DME, just DO IT!     My husband and I got married on 7/14/19 and had Janet as our Day of Coordinator. Hiring her was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process and she blew any expectations we had out of the water! We wanted a Day of Coordinator to put our mind at ease just in case anything came up during the wedding day and inevitably things did. Janet was so professional and handled everything while being calm, cool and collected. My husband and I loved her and so did our bridal party!     Hands down, the BEST!

    There is no doubt in my mind that Deb is the reason for my perfect wedding. The woman is a magical unicorn disguised as a human. There's no other way to explain how she does what she does while making it all appear effortless. I can echo what all of these reviews have said about Deb and her team, so I'll include a few anecdotes specific to my experience. After spending hours at the salon with my bridesmaids on the day of my wedding, I arrived back at my house only to discover that the heat and humidity had completely destroyed my hairstyle that had looked so good just fifteen minutes before. In a panic, I asked my sister what to do. She said "we're going back to the salon." That's when I knew it was really bad. We were an hour behind schedule when I texted Deb to say I was getting my hair completely redone. She responded, "No worries! Don't stress." That's when I took a deep breath and realized everything was going to be okay. No more texts were exchanged between us. She made sure everyone else involved was aware of the changes to the timeline, and the rest of the day went off without a hitch. Deb was there for me and my wedding party every step of the way. Someone wanted to touch up their hair--no worries, Deb carries a rolling bag complete with hairdryer, curling iron, hairspray, bobby pins, and probably a magic wand too. She even made sure I didn't have those little white deodorant crumbles under my arms before I walked down the aisle. And these are only a few of the things I witnessed. I know for a fact she was doing 58,694,838 other tasks throughout the day. So if you're considering hiring a wedding planner, stop considering and hire Deb NOW. It will be the absolute BEST decision you will ever make!

    Couldn’t have done it without Debbie!

    I truly don’t believe my wedding day would have been as perfect if Debbie wasn’t there to coordinate it all. She made me feel so relaxed throughout the entire day, and the day went by without a hiccup. Debbie is a true professional and is there to help with even the smallest of details. We had a situation where my dress got really dirty during outdoor pictures. And Debbie sprung into action to make sure it was cleaned up before the ceremony. She’s a master at what she does, and couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator to help me through my wedding day. Thank you so much Debbie - I cant put into words how thankful I am to have had you there helping me through it all. You kept my nerves and my now husbands nerves calm and relaxed all day long.     Best money I spent

    There is no way that we could have pulled off our totally DIY wedding without Deb. I hired her as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more than that. From the first email to this past week (2 weeks after the wedding) she has been the glue keeping my vision together. We had a non-traditional wedding at Great South Bay Brewery and had to bring everything into the venue (including tables, chairs, utensils, food, servers, etc.). She had all of my vendors organized and made sure that everyone was on the same page with her well-organized timeline. She called/texted/emailed the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure I was okay and didn't need her to do anything. She handled everything the day of the wedding from staging my jewelry and things for detail shots, setting up the dessert table, organizing escort cards, putting out favors, handing out tips, getting me food... the list is truly endless. She truly put my mind at ease that day because I knew that whatever happened, Deb would take care of it. She really was the best money I spent for our special day because she ensured that I did not have to worry about a thing.

    Simply Amazing

    My mom said it best when she turned to me at the end of our wedding and said, “what would we have done without Janet?”

    Janet is the fairy Godmother you didn’t know you absolutely needed. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she coordinated much longer than just the day of. She came with me to my last dress fitting to learn how to bustle, she was in constant contact, she kept in touch with all of our vendors and kept me posted on any changes that I wasn’t aware of.

    The day of the wedding, she was absolutely essential. She was my everything person. She made calls, she helped me with my dress (it did not fit - she pinned me into it!) she worked with the venue staff to make sure all was running smoothly, she knew when to check in with us and when to give a little space, and she packed everything for us beautifully at the end of the night. If I ever attempt a large event like this again, I will seek her out and I hope you will too.

    Amazing person!

    all I have to say is that hiring Deborah was one of the best decisions. In the 2 weeks leading up to my wedding, she attended my final Venue appt with me, created a day of timeline, confirmed everything with my vendors, made sure everything was running on time, held onto and handed out the tip envelopes, and helped with all the little details you just dont think about.     Two weddings, two perfect days

    We hired Deborah and her team for a wedding for my son at our home. Also my other son hired her for his. Wedding a month later (both fall weddings). Jenna was assigned to us and what a wonder. She handled every detail the day of we were so elated that she kept things moving as we requested. Meetings, timelines phone conferences were all part of the package. So professional in every way. This team really gets to the heart of your vision and executes it flawlessly.

    She saved my sanity !

    We were so blessed to have Deb along side us for the wedding planning process! We used a venue that was just a raw space, having to bring everythingggg in - which was daunting until Deb came on board. She was such a calming presence and re-assured my nerves throughout the entire process - never pushy, always understanding, always going above & beyond to make sure I was having fun with the planning (which can be stressful if you allow it to be!)     Deborah is such a kind and caring individual, she helped to keep me grounded when wedding planning became too hectic or when I am out of option or idea, it didn’t matter what time I call, message or email, she was my personal fairy god mother. On the day of our wedding she was a God sent from picking up the flowers from our florist which was a last minute decision, to getting food, setting up the hotel for picture which are so amazing to keeping everybody on schedule. Our wedding was perfect, small things may have happened but deb ensure we didn’t know about it. Thank you Deborah for been there for us and for the family vibes and orientation you bring.

    Deborah was so amazing to work with. I was an out of town bride, planning my wedding at Bourne Mansion from Florida and I simply could not have done it without Deborah. Deborah made herself available for questions/concerns throughout the entire wedding planning process. Each time I got off the phone with her, I felt instantly better about whatever wedding planning crisis I was most recently being dramatic about. Deborah takes the time to listen to your concerns and offers amazing advice. She has so much experience doing what she does that she somehow makes everything look easy.

    Our wedding day threw us a couple of curveballs. For example, it was cold and rainy and our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors. Later on, as we are getting ready to walk out for our ceremony, we learned that our officiant was running extremely late and we were not sure he was going to make it in time. Seemingly, these two things could be enough to ruin any wedding day. Low and behold, Deborah and her superwoman powers stepped in to save the day. She arrived at my hotel early in the day with the weather report and we discussed our options. She remained by my side for the rest of the afternoon answering all of my last minute concerns and informing my bridesmaids of our day's schedule.

    The rain ended up stopping just in time for our ceremony to be outdoors, but we still had that officiant issue. Deborah jumped into action and worked with our assistant photographer who volunteered to perform our ceremony and everything went smoothly. Thanks to Deborah, my husband and I were able to focus on spending time with our family and friends and we were truly able to enjoy our wedding. When you hire Deborah you are not just getting a wedding planner--you are getting a therapist, an advice giver, and a true friend. It was such an honor and a pleasure to work with her. Deborah is the best investment you can make on your wedding day!

    Deb was absolutely FANTASTIC as our day of wedding coordinator! I planned our wedding myself and wanted someone day of to make sure all my planning was organized and in place on my behalf. She met with us and was in contact with us to create a thorough timeline the weeks leading up to the wedding. She even sent our vendors a copy to make sure everyone was on the same page. Day of, she made sure we stuck to our schedule, everything was in place and our day was seamless thanks to her! She kept me calm, went over details with us and made sure the day was absolutely perfect. I can not say enough good things about her.     Truly amazing, best day ever. It was everything we ever wanted and more. We could not have asked for a better day. Debbie was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is so sweet, caring, warm, helpful, and most of all so calming. Everyone needs a Debbie in their life for sure. I could use her on a day to day hands down 150%.     From the minute we hired her, she went right to work and handled a tough situation I was having with my then DJ. She answered all my questions quickly and fully. We spoke several times when trying to figure out certain details and she helped me with that. The week of, she called and confirmed all of my vendors. Day of, she arrived at 10am and left the venue after I left! She picked up wrapping paper and a box for the gift for my hubs (since I forgot it) AND she wrapped it for me. She confirmed with the limo the time they were to pick us up and she loaded up the limo with all our stuff. Once at the venue she set to work with my Matre'D; making sure all my stuff was in the right spots, vendors were setting up, and we were staying on schedule with pictures. She even came to the rescue when the beading in my mom’s dress had snagged and ripped and the beads started to fall off! She also took all my tip envelopes and handed them out. She took the cards up to the bridal suite and stashed them away since our box was getting full. I am sure she did even more stuff that I don’t even know about! She also came to the rehearsal to run through everything for the ceremony and all the details the day before. She was a dream to work with, reasonably priced, and would HIGHLY recommend her.

    How do i begin to explain Debbie and how INVALUABLE she was to me during the wedding planing process?? Well let's start with the fact that she is as kind, professional and detail oriented as they come! Debbie spent so much time with me making sure every "T" was crossed and every "I" was dotted. She went to bat for me when i needed her to negotiate and was my counselor, advisor, confidante, and master of all things wedding related leading up to my big day. When my wedding day arrived, so did Debbie-- in every way she executed a perfect and flawless day for me and my husband and when i tell you I did not have to worry about ANYTHING at all, I truly had no other job but to look gorgeous and enjoy my wedding day! Our venue space looked amazing and she set up everything exactly the way i wanted it. She kept us on time, organized, calm and made sure we were happy all day.

    Again, there really aren't enough words to describe what a wonderful ,helpful and just beautiful person Debbie is. If you are considering hiring an event planner or day-of coordinator, look no further-- Debbie is THE best and hiring her was one of the very best investments I could have made.     Hiring Debbie was the best decision I made early on in the planning process. Debbie met me in my apartment and walked through some of the services she provides, and the ways she thought she might be able to help us on our wedding day. In the months and weeks that followed, Debbie checked in at least once a week, always asking "What can I do to help you?" and making sure I was on track with vendors and keeping everything organized. When I procrastinated on certain tasks, she helped me get moving, even calling officiants to find out their availability for me. As we got closer to the date, Debbie took more than a few tasks off my hands, helping to coordinate with the venue, several of my vendors, and really just making it so that I didn't have one single worry on the day of the wedding. She knew where everyone should be at all times, popped up with my lipstick for a touch up, made sure I had everything I needed, and I'm positive she did at least 100 other things that I didn't even have to think about because I knew Debbie had it covered.
    I can't imagine planning and executing such a flawless day without Debbie there to help out with everything, so if you're on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator or planner, know that you'll be able to truly enjoy your day and that you won't have any worries if Debbie is on your side!

We were in contact for several months prior to the wedding and Janet helped me with various tasks such as my hotel block, finding a chaplain, securing our honor guard with the chapel etc. She provided tip guidelines, reached out to all my vendors, and eventually worked with me to solidify my timeline. I live out of state, so we met in-person only once, several weeks before the wedding and for two hours she went over every single little detail with me.

    Where Janet really shined, was of course the day of. I can't express enough, that without Janet...our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect (and on time) as it was. Anytime anyone needed something, Janet was right there, with a smile on her face, a solution to the problem, and a water bottle with a straw just in case you were thirsty. Parents, groomsman, and bridesmaids ALL made comments to me about how "awesome" Janet was.

    I know there’s so much more that Janet did for us, a lot of things I’m not even aware of, but here are a few things I wanted to highlight:

    -I hated my bouquet. Janet drove back to the florist (where she had just come from) and had them remake it.

    -We forgot my fiancés military uniform, and realized on the drive to the chapel. Janet turned around and got it from the hotel.

    -I forgot the shoes I wanted to change into, and they magically appeared at the venue because Janet got them at the hotel.

    If you hire Janet, you will not need to stress or worry about anything and she will help make your day as wonderful and stress-free as she made mine. Thank you Janet!!!

    Unprofessional and altogether terrible

    I hired Deborah of Deborah Minarik Events to be my day of coordinator. During the planning process and leading up to the wedding, she was fine, handled some logistics and contracts. We had a good relationship. It wasnt until the DAY OF MY WEDDING that her real colors showed, and I was completely and utterly appalled at how terrible and unprofessional she was. Since she lives in long island and we were getting married in the city, we paid for a hotel room for her at our hotel so she wouldnt have to travel so early in the morning. We were accomodating and considerate. She didnt arrive to my bridal suite until late morning - while my bridal party and i were having hair and makeup done. She popped in and out - sometimes bringing things across the street to the venue, other times i dont know what she was doing. As the photographer showed up, she was not in the room as she said she would be. we had agreed in advanced that she would deal with the pictures and the timeline. So the photographer comes, and wants to take pics of me getting dressed which i DID NOT WANT AT ALL. He was great and understanding, but I was starting to get annoyed that Deborah was not there to tell the photographer all the simple few pics I wanted to take. When he was done in the bridal suite- he asked me where he was supposed to go. At this point, Deborah was still no where to be found and I had no idea where he was supposed to be because I was told by Deborah that I didnt have to know a thing about the timeline and photographer because she would be there to coordinate everything. So as I am rushing to get my hair and makeup finished, im also trying to track Deborah and my now husband down to see what was going on. After about 25 minutes of this, Debbie texted me that she was at the venue dealing with the florist and she was on her way back. (There was no reason for her to be dealing with the florist - the venue had already told me they were prepared and ready to handle the flower delivery). But anyway, I digress. I was on edge and annoyed. I had been arguing with my sisters, I was rushing to get ready, and just overal anxious and nervous because it was my wedding day! She had returned to the bridal suite - i must have been in the bathroom or getting my makeup done because I didnt see her come in. But i got a text message and it was from deborah- and apparently it was intended to be sent to someone else because the text said "I HAVE A COMPLETELY PSYCHO BRIDE. BEYOND NUTS". Yep, she meant to text someone else and accidentally text that to the bride just hours before her wedding, when her only job was to make sure things were running smoothly. Once she realized what she did she tried apologizing. I couldnt even look at her. My mother asked her to leave, and then my sister spoke with her outside and told her she was done for the day and to go tell my husband. NOW I know what you're thinking, maybe I was being a bridezilla. But I was the FURTHEST thing from a bridezilla. And not for nothing, it was my wedding day, i was anxious, nervous, stuck in a bridal suite for hours without being able to leave, *got my period THAT morning of course*, so even if i had been a bit snippy, cut a girl some slack. I just cannot believe that someone who's built a professional career on keeping brides calm and taking care of wedding details, would act in such an unprofessional way. Sure, the text wasnt supposed to go to me, but why would she be texting in the first place? This was the ONE day she was getting paid to work. And she should know better than anyone that a bride is very stressed and nervous the day of their wedding. Anyway, she tried apologizing after the wedding. I have nothing to say to her. Receiving that text just hours before my ceremony was devastating. I was furious, upset, and my mother and sisters were even more upset for me, and how I was treated. So I was upset that they were upset. I cried hysterically for about 30 minutes, then pulled myself together. It wound up being the most perfect day and wedding I could have ever imagined. But had I let it get to me, or perhaps I didnt have the strength and personality to shake it off, it could have been the most terrible day. Moral of the story - This woman does not deserve to continue to be in this industry after the way she treated a paying client. A bride on her wedding day. You want someone you can trust, will be there to make things better and help you, not someone to make things worse. And perhaps that was a one time thing, and she probably learned her lesson, but unfortunately I was the one who had to go through it and it sucked for me. If i read a review like this while searching for a wedding planner, i would definitely not even think twice about crossing this one off my list of contenders.
