Suzanne for our day of coordinator!
We worked with Suzanne for day of coordination and she was amazing! She was super detail oriented and very available for all of the questions and coordination that I had the months/weeks leading up to our wedding. She helped make our day incredibly seamless and stress free. With all of the random things that I would have never thought would pop up during the day, she handled them without hesitation. I’m so grateful she helped with our special day!We worked with Suzanne for day of coordination and she was amazing! She was super detail oriented and very available for all of the questions and coordination that I had the months/weeks leading up to our wedding. If you're debating whether to team up with Deborah Minarik Events, let me assure you – don't hesitate, just go for it! Amidst all the wedding expenses, I can guarantee it's worth every penny. We tied the knot last week, and our wedding was an absolute dream, thanks to our Day-of-Coordinator (actually, she was with us for the month leading up to it), Becca. She's truly exceptional. Despite my meticulous organization, I still felt overwhelmed thinking about how everything would come together on the big day. But every time I spoke with Becca, my stress visibly eased. She exuded comfort and confidence, assuring me that she'd orchestrate our wedding flawlessly. Her attention to detail is remarkable; she anticipates every little thing you might overlook in the lead-up to your wedding and liaises directly with all your vendors to ensure everyone's on the same page. We encountered a few bumps in the road in the days before, but Becca was right there with us, navigating through them step by step. Honestly, I don't know how I would've coped without her expertise and reassurance. Our wedding day felt perfect to us, but who knows how many potential mishaps Becca shielded us from (we'll probably never know). Becca was an Amazing
My wife Kayce and I were extremely lucky to have been paired up with Becca from Deborah Minarik Events for our Long Island Wedding in early June 2023. We elected to have Becca help us with day of planning and coordination, but she really did so much more leading up to the event that really put us at ease. Most notably she contacted all of our vendors and established a timeline for the entire wedding day that put us, our family, and bridal party all at ease. She made it all come together so nicely and had an exceptional working relationship with our venue (Mansion at Timber Point). Worth it - day of coordination
Deb was absolutely wonderful! We hired her as a day of coordinator and I'm so happy we did! She made a timeline that worked for us, coordinated all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on point that day of the wedding! The day ran so smoothly with her help with no stress to me and my husband so we were able to just enjoy the day!Deb was absolutely wonderful! Kristin was our planner & day of coordinator. She helped me every step of the planning process and I could not have done it without her. She was amazing in every way, constantly on top of every detail and making sure everything was perfect. Even the venue staff was bragging about how amazing she was at making sure everyone was on the same page and running smoothly. She is the best at what she does, so sweet and feels like your best friend helping you plan. 10000/10 ! ♥️Kristin was our planner & day of coordinator. You Need Deb!
Deb is an amazing Day-of-Coordinator and such a wonderful person. From our first phone call at the beginning of wedding planning, all the way up to the last minute before I stepped on the bus at the end of our reception, she was there for anything and everything we possibly needed. No task was too big or too small for her to take care of. She was friendly, easy-going and listened to our vision and then helped make it a reality. Deb and her Office Manager, Stephanie spent so much time and effort putting together our day of timeline. They were constantly checking in with us and all our vendors and making sure everything was on track leading up to the big day. Knowing I had her and Stephanie double and triple checking in with all our vendors put me at ease the week of the wedding. On our wedding day, Deb arrived on time and made sure we stayed on and even ahead of schedule. The biggest decision that we needed to make that day was whether or not to do our ceremony inside or outside and Deb was there checking the weather throughout the day, coming up with alternate ideas/options, and was in constant contact with our venue and florist. Other than that, we didn't have to think or worry about anything else because Deb was there already taking care of it! I LOVED working with Deb and I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone looking to hire a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator. HIRE DEB! We were assigned Kristin, who was a literal angel sent to us from the heavens. She was caring and direct. She wouldn't take no for an answer and wanted to do whatever she could to make our day that much better (spoiler: she did!). We are SO grateful to Kristin and highly recommend the entire team at Deb Minarik!Deb and team were recommended to us by our venue manager. Couldn't have done it without them!!
Deborah and Kristin are the best! We booked our wedding at Greenport Harbor Brewery and knew we needed to hire a day-of coordinator since this was not a typical wedding venue. I initially spoke with Deborah on the phone and she immediately calmed my nerves about planning. She took the time to go over my vision for that day and gave me suggestions for vendors that I still needed to hire even before we booked with DME. She put me in contact with Kristin from her team who would be our day of coordinator. Kristin is an actual miracle worker! She was extremely responsive and flexible and went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding, as well as in the weeks leading up to it. Kristin was so organized, professional and detail-orientated and ensured the day went smoothly. We are so thankful to Kristin for making our day unforgettable and perfect and would highly recommend Deborah Minarik Events to everyone!!Deborah and Kristin are the best! Deborah is amazing and made the wedding feel so easy!
We started planning our wedding pre-pandemic and had worked with Deborah to plan all the details for our wedding. When our wedding had to be postponed, she worked out all the details with the vendors and switched everything around. I was really stressed about how it was going to work out but Deborah worked her magic and rescheduled all my vendors. Come wedding day. I felt like we were able to enjoy the entire day without being stressed and that was amazing! Deborah was easy to work with and reachable via email and phone which was amazing. Hire Deb and Live Stress Free!
Deb makes your day perfect. It is uncanny how much she does to make your day run smoothly, and before you even think of something, she’s done it. We each always had a fresh signature drink, she took any cards people handed us, she bustled my wife’s dress, she sewed buttons that flew off groomsmen tuxedos… what didn’t she do? Deb prepares a perfect timeline of your entire day, and keeps things running as they should. She also handles all of the vendors- need the band to make an announcement? Want the photographer to take a certain shot? Deb is all over it before you finish the sentence. Deb takes out any stress you have on your wedding day. Starting at the hotel, she ran between rooms delivering pre-wedding notes, she got lunch to everyone, cleaned up after it, had the marriage license ready, etc. Once at the venue, she was the first to direct the bridal party, the families, the officiant, etc. In our thank you text to her we called her an angel because it was like she was sent from heaven. Truly the best!
My husband and I had the best wedding a few weeks ago! We enjoyed every minute of the day and a lot of that was due to Jenna from Deborah Minarik Events. From the minute Jenna walked into the room where I was getting ready with my bridesmaids, I felt at ease that she was there. She did so much for us throughout the whole day!
I think anyone who gets married on Long Island should have Deborah's team there. I cannot say thank you enough! I always dreamed of my wedding day since I was very little & it was all so perfect (even through the little hiccups) thanks to Jenna's help!

Hiring DME - Best Decision Ever!
Deborah Minarik came highly recommended to us by Crossing Midnight, our wedding band who we trust immensely. From the minute we reached out to Deborah in June of 2020, we knew we needed to work with her. She was unbelievably responsive, but most of all kind and compassionate. Within 20 minutes of speaking with her, we immediately booked her for Day of Coordinator services for our May 1, 2021 wedding.
Throughout Fall 2020 and Winter 2021, Deborah continued to be responsive and listen to our worries and concerns. When we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person “micro wedding” on May 1, 2021 and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, Deborah was right there to assure us that everything would work out.
Leading up to May 1st, we were assigned Kristin as our Day of Coordinator. Kristin met with us and helped to organize our wedding day itinerary, which still involved a decent amount of logistics even though we were still only having 50 people. She followed up with all of our vendors leading up to May 1st to confirm details and timing, as well. Both Deborah and Kristin showed up at our rehearsal on April 30th and even though we were meeting them in person for the first time, it felt like we had known them for years. They were prepared and knew the details of our mass in and out.
On the morning of May 1st, Kristin texted us when she was on her way and asked if we needed any last minute items. As soon as she arrived, though, is when we saw the value of having the Deborah Minarik team with us in action. Kristin swooped in and ensured that every single detail (big and small) was handled accordingly. She checked in on the groom, dads and groomsmen to make sure they were all ready, made sure the bride, moms and bridesmaids had all eaten enough and set up all accessories for detailed photos. Kristin worked closely with our photographer and videographer throughout the day to make sure that every photo we wanted was taken and even held the cathedral veil and train throughout countless photos to ensure the perfect shot was taken. When we arrived at our venue, Kristin checked to make sure everything had been set up as requested. She even went to great lengths to find a banner we thought had gone missing and needed for a picture, and even offered to drive back to the hotel to get it (thankfully it ended up being under the sweetheart table).
Not once during the day, did we stress about logistics. Kristin was a calming presence and we were so lucky to have her with us. Having her there throughout the day allowed us to be worry-free and truly enjoy every single moment. Hiring Deborah and her team was one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful that we’ll get to work with them again in March 2022. We highly recommend booking them ASAP!

Our Wedding
I don’t even know where to start with this review of Deborah. Deb was my wedding coordinator for my recent wedding 7/4/21 and was a complete angel! She made sure the day was beyond perfect and went without a hitch even though our wedding venue tried to throw every curve ball our way. She was there every single step of the way for my husband and I making sure we had everything that we needed to make our day absolutely perfect. She went out of her way the entire month of the wedding even finding me a last minute hair stylist when my hair person had to drop out 4 days before my wedding. Deb became more like family by the end of our wedding. She is the best of the best. You won’t find anyone sweeter, more caring, or more helpful in the business. best decision we ever made!
We originally were not going to hire a planner, we figured with all the tool online, we would be fine. I am SO happy we decided to go with DME. Deb was our planner and was so immensely help. She knew exactly what to do with weird wedding curve balls, kept us updated regarding covid regulations, and was just an overall amazing support. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we know it would have been less so without Deb.We originally were not going to hire a planner, we figured with all the tool online, we would be fine. I am SO happy we decided to go with DME. Deb was our planner and was so immensely help. She knew exactly what to do with weird wedding curve balls, kept us updated regarding covid regulations, and was just an overall amazing support. Don’t look for anyone else to help plan your wedding!
Deb and her team truly were a prayer answered to make sure my daughter and son In law had their wedding reception after having it postponed 4 times. My daughter and son in law were married on April 3, 2020 in my home via zoom. Because of covid their reception was pushed off to December 26, 2020, but that fell through as well. After speaking with a friend we decided we were going to have the reception in her backyard on their 1 year anniversary. Again 3 weeks prior to that date we could not do it there, because of social gathering mandates would only allow 25 people in a backyard. Deb and her team tirelessly found a site that was not only affordable, but beautiful. We celebrated my daughter and son in law on May 1. 2021 at Camp Pa-qua-tuck in Center Moriches. Deb collaborated with the rental company we originally hired for the backyard wedding and helped with the process of the new location and everything we would need for this long awaited event. She was also in close contact with my caterer and every other vendor as well. There was nothing she couldn’t have done better to make this day one of the most happiest days for my daughter and son in law.
Deb is such an amazing person, and I know that she takes pride in her profession, and her business. Best Decision!!
We were fortunate enough to work with Deb from Deborah Minarik Events as our day of coordinator and she was PHENOMENAL! We chose Deb after my now sister-in-law worked with Deb for her wedding in 2018. After seeing how amazing she was to my sister-in-law, I knew that it was a no brainer when it came time for our wedding.
As a COVID bride (we got married in December 2020), I can't explain enough how imperative Deb was to our planning process. As guidelines were constantly changing, and my emotions were running high and low, Deb constantly reassured me that the wedding would be perfect no matter what. Although our original wedding plans did not come to fruition, our wedding was still beautiful, intimate, and I wouldn't change a thing - and a great deal of that is due to Deb.
I honestly could not imagine our wedding day without her. She managed to have everything under control and made things run smoothly and effortlessly. I felt at ease knowing that Deb had everything planned, and knew when to move things according to the timeline she thoroughly made. She made sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there. When any concerns arose, Deb was ON IT. When I started to freeze outside after getting really phenomenal pictures (worth the freezing), she knew when it was time to take a break to make sure I was still happy and enjoying my wedding day. From the small little things you don't even think about to the big things, such as straightening/fixing my train and hair for pictures and walking down the aisle, to making sure we were fed, to bustling my dress, to making sure everyone received their payments and tips, to making sure we left the hotel and venue with all the important stuff that you are not thinking about in that moment (just to name a few of the many things) - Deb had it all taken care of.
Not only did I LOVE Deb but all of our guests noticed how wonderful and professional she was without being intrusive. The QUEEN of Wedding Planning
Where do I begin... Deb has done SO many parties for my family over the years, so I knew when we cancelled our destination wedding for the second time, and moved it to my parents home, that Deb was the only one for the job! She was organized, completely prepared for the insane task. The days leading up to our at home wedding were stressful to say the least, and Deb just took it all on her shoulders and handled it like the BOSS she is! We couldn't have pulled this wedding off without her, and for that I'll always be grateful! Anyone planning a wedding, either at home, or in a venue should be calling Deb, you'll thank me later!Where do I begin... Deb and Becky are AMAZING!!! My husband and I got married on LI but we live in NC so planning a wedding from a distance can be a challenge, but with Deborah and Becky, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! They made planning our wedding enjoyable and took all the stress out of it. Deb had the best recommendations for vendors and I felt at so comfortable using people she trusted and of course, she was spot on! Becky was my DOC and she was on top of everything! There is no way I could’ve done it without her nor would I have wanted too. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding because no one came to me with questions – Becky took care of everything! Janet was a dream!
I hired Janet as my DOC and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. As I do event planning in my 9-5, I knew that in order to fully enjoy my wedding that I would need to step back for the day and let someone else run the show. Janet was my calming force, even when the tent fell down over night and she came early and assured me everything would be fine (which it ended up being). She was thorough throughout our communication process and made sure everything ran so smoothly the day of. It was a true gift to be able to enjoy every part of my wedding thanks to Janet. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and would consider her a friend. If you are even a teensy bit on the fence about hiring Janet or any of the ladies from DME, just DO IT! My husband and I got married on 7/14/19 and had Janet as our Day of Coordinator. Hiring her was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process and she blew any expectations we had out of the water! We wanted a Day of Coordinator to put our mind at ease just in case anything came up during the wedding day and inevitably things did. Janet was so professional and handled everything while being calm, cool and collected. My husband and I loved her and so did our bridal party! Hands down, the BEST!
There is no doubt in my mind that Deb is the reason for my perfect wedding. The woman is a magical unicorn disguised as a human. There's no other way to explain how she does what she does while making it all appear effortless. I can echo what all of these reviews have said about Deb and her team, so I'll include a few anecdotes specific to my experience. After spending hours at the salon with my bridesmaids on the day of my wedding, I arrived back at my house only to discover that the heat and humidity had completely destroyed my hairstyle that had looked so good just fifteen minutes before. In a panic, I asked my sister what to do. She said "we're going back to the salon." That's when I knew it was really bad. We were an hour behind schedule when I texted Deb to say I was getting my hair completely redone. She responded, "No worries! Don't stress." That's when I took a deep breath and realized everything was going to be okay. No more texts were exchanged between us. She made sure everyone else involved was aware of the changes to the timeline, and the rest of the day went off without a hitch. Deb was there for me and my wedding party every step of the way. Someone wanted to touch up their hair--no worries, Deb carries a rolling bag complete with hairdryer, curling iron, hairspray, bobby pins, and probably a magic wand too. She even made sure I didn't have those little white deodorant crumbles under my arms before I walked down the aisle. And these are only a few of the things I witnessed. I know for a fact she was doing 58,694,838 other tasks throughout the day. So if you're considering hiring a wedding planner, stop considering and hire Deb NOW. There is no way that we could have pulled off our totally DIY wedding without Deb. I hired her as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more than that. From the first email to this past week (2 weeks after the wedding) she has been the glue keeping my vision together. We had a non-traditional wedding at Great South Bay Brewery and had to bring everything into the venue (including tables, chairs, utensils, food, servers, etc.). She had all of my vendors organized and made sure that everyone was on the same page with her well-organized timeline. She called/texted/emailed the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure I was okay and didn't need her to do anything. She handled everything the day of the wedding from staging my jewelry and things for detail shots, setting up the dessert table, organizing escort cards, putting out favors, handing out tips, getting me food... the list is truly endless. She truly put my mind at ease that day because I knew that whatever happened, Deb would take care of it. Simply Amazing
My mom said it best when she turned to me at the end of our wedding and said, “what would we have done without Janet?”
Janet is the fairy Godmother you didn’t know you absolutely needed. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she coordinated much longer than just the day of. She came with me to my last dress fitting to learn how to bustle, she was in constant contact, she kept in touch with all of our vendors and kept me posted on any changes that I wasn’t aware of.

Deborah is such a kind and caring individual, she helped to keep me grounded when wedding planning became too hectic or when I am out of option or idea, it didn’t matter what time I call, message or email, she was my personal fairy god mother. On the day of our wedding she was a God sent from picking up the flowers from our florist which was a last minute decision, to getting food, setting up the hotel for picture which are so amazing to keeping everybody on schedule. She went to bat for me when i needed her to negotiate and was my counselor, advisor, confidante, and master of all things wedding related leading up to my big day. When my wedding day arrived, so did Debbie-- in every way she executed a perfect and flawless day for me and my husband and when i tell you I did not have to worry about ANYTHING at all, I truly had no other job but to look gorgeous and enjoy my wedding day!
