  David was wonderful! We are so pleased with our engagement and wedding photos. He's really great at putting you at ease, but he also works quickly. We'd highly recommend him to anyone!

  David Malament was a blessing to our special day. Not only is he talented but he's real. My husband and I are not from North Carolina. We planned a destination wedding in the Outer Banks and David was willing to drive 7 hours to provide his services. He helped us with more than just the photography because he knew we weren't from the area. It was nice to work with an honest man who held the same values. David cares about his clients and wants to help them enjoy the day the best he can. If you want someone who is willing to get to know you and figure out what styles best fit you and provide you with a great finished product, David Malament Photography is the way to go.

  5 Stars out of 5 Stars just doesn't do him justice!!! I can't say enough great things about David Malament and his work. We could not have been happier with the almost 400 QUALITY pictures that came from our wedding day.
  David's professionalism and calm demeanor made me feel comfortable in front of the camera (which I am not), and he was able to create some incredible shots of everyone involved.
  Another thing that I greatly appreciated was the fact that he listened to our suggestions and requests - didn't get insulted or offended.
  At the top of our list was the value for the money! We picked out a package and ended up switching a couple things out, adding a few things in, and the pricing remained reasonable - especially for the quality of work that was provided.
  I've seen quite a few wedding books and many more pictures over the years, but I can honestly say that they aren't even comparable to David's work! The colors, the angles, the details - all PERFECTION!!! We would DEFININTELY use him again...perhaps when we welcome a little one SOMEDAY!!!!!

  David is not only a wonderful photographer, but a wonderful person as well. My husband and I truly enjoyed working with him. He has the best price around for the photos we wanted, and we couldn't be happier with the quality. I would recommend David to everyone I know.

  David was a very talented, professional, and patient photographer. He did such an amazing job!! His pictures from our wedding day are absolutely beautiful and make me cry, laugh, and smile every time I look at them. I HIGHLY recommend him!

  We couldn't be happier with our pictures. David spent 6 hours with us that day and it just flew by. David shot our wedding ceremony in the Champagne Cellar at the Biltmore Estate. The low lighting proved to be a challenging setting for photography, but David got some great shots. Having not done an engagement session with him and only having met David once before the wedding, we were so relieved at his relaxed, casual style with us. He got in the right place at the right time for shots but we never felt like he was directing us or getting in the way. He has a great way of just blending in. His pictures are well composed, artistic and definitely tell the story of our day in a way that reminds us of all of the wonderful details, as if it happened just yesterday.

  David was wonderful. He photographed our Wedding in October 2009 and did a fantastic job. We really did not know what we wanted, but with David's passion and artistic eye, we came away with an amazing collection of photographs. The compliments from friends and family are amazing and unending. David was great to work with, a kind, good person, and very talented.

  David photographed our wedding May 2009 and did a fabulous job! He had wonderful artistic ideas for photographs that we will cherish forever. Working with him was enjoyable and easy. We'd definitely make the same decision again and hope for another chance to work with him in the coming years.
