Talented, Attentive, and Overall Amazing Team
My husband and I are so glad we decided to hire the Creative Eventology team for our wedding. Right from the initial call with Rachel, we had a good feeling about her - she was easy to talk to, enthusiastic, and super knowledgeable. We couldn't have done this without Rachel and her team - the day of went so smoothly and I wasn't stressed out...because I knew we had them on our side, making sure everything that needed to happen would happen. We also had a very unique wedding (it was Marvel themed), so getting their help with some of the design was super helpful - we only had so much time to DIY and the Creative Eventology team really helped to fill in the gaps that our talent and time couldn't fill. Whether it's for planning, design, or both - we 10/10 recommend hiring Creative Eventology! -

The best thing we did for our wedding
We worked with Rachel for our wedding in Washington, D.C. this past December, after a referral from friends, and she was absolutely integral to the success of our special day. She was a delight to work with from start-to-finish, and helped us think through every detail to ensure we had the best possible experience. Onsite, she and her team took care of everything -- organizing and managing all vendor coordination and venue details, leaving us to only focus on our loved ones. We were apprehensive about having a planner at first, but involving Creative Eventology made a massive difference in how we experienced planning and enjoying our wedding. -

We love Creative Eventology!
My wife and I got married this past weekend and could not be more pleased with the experience, service, and overall quality of work done by Rachel and her crew. Rachel was 100% punctual and made sure every aspect of the wedding was within our expectations. Despite the late changes, back and forth, and disorganization on our part, Rachel was able to tie up every loose end necessary to ensure a positive outcome. Rachel took her time with us, called us every week, and got back to us in a timely manner whenever we had a question or a request. The timeline she created was spot on and if anything didn’t go quite right she was there to pick up the pieces. Her detail orientation made it very easy for everyone to understand where they needed to be, when, and what was expected of them - not just for the vendors but the wedding participants as well, when needed. We will definitely be using creative Eventology again in the future and will be consulting Rachel for all of our event planning needs going forward. We highly recommend her services for weddings especially but her display of skills this past weekend has us convinced she could organize anything. -

Rachel is the best. Hands down.
Rachel and the Creative Eventology team made our wedding day so so special. We had a short period of time to finalize our preparations, but Rachel executed everything perfectly. As a designer myself, it can be difficult to find someone with such a high attention to detail. However, Rachel and the team exceeded our expectations in a friendly, accessible, and easygoing manner. 10/10 recommend. -

Amazing wedding planning and design
Rachel was the single best vendor we worked with for our wedding. We could not have done this without her. She was so kind, thoughtful and above all, KNEW HER STUFF!!! She thought of everything . Things we never would have known like insurance and vendor contract details and day of details. She is worth way more than her cost. Our wedding was perfect and she was such a great friend and partner along the way. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s efficient, awesome, and a powerhouse when you need her to step in and get shit done for you!! 20/10 -

Best wedding decision by far
We had the pleasure of working with Rachel and the Creative Eventology team for our 50-person indoor wedding in November. From the very beginning, we were very impressed by Rachel's flexible, accommodating, and communicative nature. She was always proactive and willing to help with any issue that arose. Not only was she a fantastic coordinator, but also a very personable and friendly individual.
Throughout the planning process, we had complex, customized services requested from almost all of our vendors, but Rachel handled everything seamlessly. Towards the end of the planning process and day-of, we pretty much responded to everything with “whatever Rachel says.” She coordinated all vendor communications and logistics, took care of rentals, and even allowed us to add additional services as our wedding plans changed. Rachel’s customized design plan and implementation thereafter were unbelievable. Her team’s personalized touch made the space and event feel truly ours.
Rachel’s team was a well-oiled machine. They were an impenetrable wall between our vendors and my wife and I. Any time my wife wanted a drink, her team was there with it in hand. Any time a vendor stepped out of line or took liberties we weren’t comfortable with, her team was there to remedy the issue, often before we even noticed them. They even kept our family more-or-less together which is something my wife and I didn’t think was possible.
If I could change anything about our wedding, I would have hired Rachel much earlier to plan much more of our wedding for us, because I know we’d end up with a personal, tailored, thoughtful, and magical event with Rachel and the Creative Eventology team running the entire show. My only regret is that I cannot hire Rachel and her team to help me through the other challenges life will inevitably throw my way.

We could not have had a better experience with Rachel and her team. From the very first phone call, we felt comfortable and welcomed. They helped us thru every decision we made along the way and listened to the smallest details that we wanted in place. Our day was beautiful, magical, and perfect from start to finish. The attention to detail went way above our expectations. They helped us create the exact atmosphere we wanted at our wedding and reception. The setting, ceremony, reception, flowers, cake, and nods to our pups were all done with a sweetness and professionalism that was first class. We are forever grateful to them for helping us create a day that we will never forget and perfect in so many different ways!-

Must have for a backyard wedding!
We opted for an outdoor wedding this past October in my parents backyard, so a Event Planner was a must based on friends feedback that had a outdoor wedding. All weddings are a lot of work planning - however I was not aware how many moving parts an outdoor wedding is!!
Rachel was the only event planner I talked to on the phone- after our initial call I felt so comfortable with her I immediately booked her and I am so happy I did. I loved the fact I was able to add more of their 'a la carte' planning options to my wedding package. As our date got closer I realized I needed more help in certain areas, so I added a few more options.
The day of the wedding we had Abby on site and she was phenomenal! She was there all day helping set up, and was there until the end of the night. She touched base with me throughout the day, and she put all the decorations away for us which was a huge help. I have had guests and my family comment on how great she was!
I was told I was 'too chill' of a bride leading up to the wedding and the day off - I have Rachel and Abby to thank for that! :) -

Rachel and her team were so amazing, it was by far the best money spent for our wedding weekend. They literally took care of everything and we could not have done it with out them! I was so thankful that they handled everything the month of, it allowed my fiancé and I and my family to enjoy our time and the whole weekend instead of stressing about the details. From the first call to the last, they constantly showed us we were in great hands and were so detail oriented. They kept us organized on the day of the wedding but also allowed the day to feel carefree and laid back. From the minute we got there they made sure we had a drink in our hand and everything we needed to have the best night! We are so grateful for the team and would hire them again in a heartbeat! -

Rachel & Creative Eventology = hire them now!
Working with Rachel and her team was easily the best choice we made for our wedding planning process and our wedding day. We utilized her for partial planning as well as day-of coordination. From our first phone call, it was evident she was going to be our planner. She is down to earth and easy to talk to, while also possessing crisp attention to detail and keeping everything on track.
Prior to our day-of coordination package kicking in, Rachel did a wonderful job in vetting vendors for us, and presenting the information she gathered for us in an organized and straight-forward manner. She took care of necessary communications any time it was needed. Once our day-of services began (two months before the wedding), she really kicked things into overdrive. As an overly-stressed bride and groom, nothing feels more relieving than hearing the words "You don't have to talk to any of your vendors again if you don't want to, that's what I'm here for." She was not kidding! We know for a fact there were probably several behind the scenes vendor communications that took place where Rachel had to advocate for us to make our day perfect. When we were stressed, she had the perfect maneuvers to validate and empathize with us, while also keeping the show on the road (and this is coming from the opinion of a therapist!)
Working with Rachel, you know that she has your best interest at heart. Our wedding was unique in the sense that we were planning on representing various aspects of our cultures (Korean, Jewish, Greek, etc.) throughout the event, and in our first call with Rachel when we shared this with her, she seemed excited to take on the challenge. She and her team executed it all so smoothly. There were so many details that even the most organized bride would have missed without having the knowledge and expertise that Rachel and her team bring. I can't tell you how many times she brought a detail to our attention and we thought to ourselves "Wow, I wouldn't have even thought of that!" Even on the day of, when there were small fires to put out, two of the most anxious people who could be getting married did not have to worry, as we knew Rachel and her team would handle it. Stain on the tux? Taken care of with items in their emergency kit. Need to change an entrance song 5 minutes before entrances? Done. Another stain on the tux? Gone. Need to find us family members to have discussions with regarding the evening? Found in two minutes and brought to us. Throughout the chaos of a wedding day, and with any changes or obstacles, she and her team didn't even seem to sweat it. They tackled every single bump gracefully.
We would hire Rachel and her team for any event in the future without question. Rachel, Abby & Elena, you were all integral parts of the most important day in our lives. Thank you for keeping us calm, relaxed, and worry-free. We love you guys! -

Couldn’t have done it without Rachel!
Words don’t do justice to express my appreciation for Rachel for being our day of coordinator for everything from beginning to end! Abby was awesome on the day of with Rachel as well! I had such a fun, relieved experience during my whole wedding because I knew that Rachel had down every single last detail and was prepared for it all. Multiple brides had said to me during my wedding that they were so surprised that I wasn’t as stressed as a bride would normally be and that’s because Rachel had everything under control and pulled together the wedding of my dreams. I truly feel like we’re friends and I wish that I could see her again. I feel like I can’t really thank her enough for all of her hard work. I remember saying to her the day of that I feel like I was underpaying her for all that she took care of. You 1000% are making the right choice in booking her to plan your wedding or even be a day of coordinator. She saved us money, time and alot of hassle and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. THANK YOU RACHEL!!!! -

Best decision I ever made
Trusting my gut that I couldn’t do this with a team & finding Rachel was truly something designed by a higher power. Her and her team made the finalizing process of all my vendors a breeze while dealing with a busy life/work schedule. The synchronization of everyone was so smooth. The day of would have never turned out so perfect had it not been for their hard work, enthusiasm, and professionalism. If anything went wrong, I had no idea. The best memory I will have of them was when it was just Rachel, Jana, my cousin & myself before the doors open to walk down the isle. My nerves were starting to over come me as the music change and it was my time to go down. They were so reassuring everything was going to be okay. It’s a memory I will hold onto forever. Made our Special day EXTRA Special
Rachel was absolutely phenomenal! She helped us plan a destination micro-wedding. She recommended venues in the area we loved. She booked the best hair and makeup girls for me. Connected us with our officiant, that tailored the ceremony to our requests. She found the perfect florist, photographer and the best videographer. She knew we love our dogs and they wouldn't be there, she surprised us with a table with their photos on it. She also brought other small details for photos, and decorated our room when we got back from dinner with dessert, champagne and other drinks for us to enjoy. She helped with things we never even thought of. She went totally above and beyond with every detail, coordination and recommendation. She really did make our day stress free and extra special. After talking to make other planners before her and being disappointed in their reaction to wanting a smaller wedding. We found Rachel's beautiful photos on Instagram and called. We knew after our first conversation she understood our vision for our day and was excited to make that vision come to life. If you're looking for someone who is as excited as you are on your big day, but also has everything and everyone else under control to go smooth, she is your girl! -

Best wedding planner ever
I cannot speak highly enough of my experience working with Rachel. She understood our vision right away, specially what we wanted (and also didn’t want) and helped to execute. She kept me calm when I freaked out and bustled my dress more than once when it fell down from dancing so much during the reception. She and her assistant Kelsey (also AMAZING) kept our rowdy bridal party on schedule and helped us get through the crazy heat we had on our wedding day. My experience with them was really just all around amazing and I can truly say because of them our wedding day was PERFECT. 15/10 -

Incredible experience
Rachel and the Creative Eventology team are absolutely incredible!! They were with me through a 1.5 year long planning process from vendor booking and guest list organization down to the smallest reception details. Their full planning package is worth every cent!! They help you save money in the long run by providing many design services and will be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like when it comes to putting together things like save the dates, invitations, welcome bags, party favors, etc.
Their creativity and design abilities are second to none, true artistry goes into the design elements of every wedding.
There is nothing I would have changed from my wedding if I had to do it over again and I would definitely use their services in the future for other events! -

The best decision i made for my wedding
I barely write reviews but I couldn't resist the urge to tell the world about Creative Eventology. Rachel is the best, most organized, flexible, professional, and compassionate event planner in the whole of Pennsylvania (no, not exaggerating).
On my wedding day, while I was getting dressed, my friend asked why I wasn't stressed or nervous and I responded that my planner had it all figured out! Rachel helped us save money, she coordinated all the vendors and did all the running around, bargained on our behalf, made suggestions that tuned out all beautiful and I can't believe how emotional I feel just typing this long review. Literally, everyone said I had the best planner there is. Thank you, Rachel!!! You blessed us with so much light and I hope other couples see the light in you. -

Rachel and her team were AMAZING to work with.
My husband and I had our wedding celebration last weekend and it would not have come together so wonderfully without the help of Rachel and Megan at Creative Eventology. Our experience with them from start to finish (which ended up stretching over a year) was a 10/10. Rachel's communication and design expertise throughout the entire process were fantastic and on the wedding day Rachel and her assistant Meghan made everything flow perfectly. Thanks to them I feel as though I did not stress at all. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend!!! Couldn't ask for a better wedding planning team! -

Rachel is the person you didn’t know you needed in your life. We had her as our day of coordinator and we have probably said a million times “thank God for Rachel”. The organization we didnt know we needed!
The team at Creative Eventology made our special day better than we could have ever imagined. Janna was able to answer my every question and helped me work through the chaotic and unorganized ideas I had! She also was an amazing voice of reason and calmness as we planned a wedding during a pandemic. The day of execution was flawless- with my bridal party more than prepped to be where they needed to be at the exact time they needed to be there. My every imagine of design was beautifully displayed with finishing touches Janna's team was able to add that magically tied it all together. Hands down the best decision made was hiring Rachel and Creative Eventology. Everyone was shocked at how calm I was leading up to the wedding but I just knew it was all under control. We picked an a la carte package with Rachel which meant we’ve worked with her for the entire year of our engagement and we definitely consider her a friend after all this time spent discussing and planning. She even managed to handle some difficult vendors very well and I could not be more pleased with the outcome of our entire wedding! -

Everything was Perfect!
Rachel and her team went above and beyond to make my day perfect! Everything looked exactly how I had envisioned it and I felt like I didn't have to do anything day of but enjoy my day. All the vendors were handled and I didn't even have to deal with the marriage license because Rachel had it all done. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having a wedding or even just a regular event. She made everything easy and even had fun with my entire wedding party which made everyone have a great time.-

Working with Rachel and the Creative Eventology team was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. We wanted to use a non-traditional venue and have food trucks cater, and were drawn to the other logistically complex weddings Creative Eventology has worked on. From our initial consultation, we knew Rachel was the one to bring our vision to life- and we were right. She was so helpful during the process - and her friendly, warm professionalism and good sense of humor didn't hurt either. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and made some great logistical and vendor recommendations to make things even better. Harry & Jess were there on the day-of and did a great job too- flexible, responsive, thorough, and professional. We can't recommend them highly enough! -

The entire Creative Eventology team was AMAZING! My husband and I met with Rachel to talk about day-of coordination about two years before our wedding, and both walked away from the meeting feeling like she'd be on top of everything. Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away isn't an easy task, but Rachel made it a breeze, doing things by phone or e-mail as needed, and working with us to schedule the walk-through on a weekend we could fly home. Harry was our lead planner on the day itself; he, too, was so organized and friendly and efficient - every single thing we'd discussed, he made happen. Jess worked with Harry day-of, and though I didn't spend much time with her, she kept family photos rolling (she also generously offered me her coat during the chilly cocktail hour photos!) If you're debating whether to get a day-of coordinator, you definitely should, and you should hire Creative Eventology! I was so relaxed the entire wedding day, knowing Harry and Jess (and Rachel, from afar) were handling things. -

Being nervous and anxious about your wedding is a given. It happens to everyone and it won't go away until a few days after the dust has settled. So why not hire someone to help alleviate that pressure and anxiety? That is where Creative Eventology steps in. Working with Rachel and her team was absolutely amazing! They listened to what you wanted and made it happen. They then went even further to add their own personal touches to everything. They were nice and caring to the point that they basically became our friends helping with our wedding! But the true magic happens on the day of. Our horde of nearly 250 moved seamlessly from hotel to church to venue. The ceremony went smoothly and exactly how we had imagined. All our vendors were on the same page and everything went off without a hitch. Creative Eventology went above and beyond the call of duty to make our special day perfect. I know the word "perfect" is thrown around a lot but I would be a liar if I said our day wasn't perfect. And it couldn't have happened with out Creative Eventology. I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding planning needs!!!! -

I simply cannot imagine a better team to work with! Rachel and the Creative Eventology team made our wedding absolutely incredible, and the process not just bearable but FUN!! They are a well-oiled machine. Their checklists really helped us get organized early on. Rachel kept in regular contact with us to make sure we were making headway on our tasks and she was very clear about what things she/CE could take on vs those that we really should do ourselves. We were highly cost conscious and she understood that, making sure we were always in the loop from the start on quotes from vendors and even from Creative Eventology themselves for instances where they could take on certain aspects of design for us. Their prices always beat other vendors and we were very happy with the result. I HIGHLY recommend Creative Eventology for couples looking for a wedding planner!! -

My now husband and I hired Creative Eventology for Day-Of coordination because we knew with our jobs and crazy lives we would need a few extra hands the last few weeks leading up to our wedding. While it was not something we had originally budgeted for in our wedding, it was the best decision we could have made! We worked closely with Harry who ensured all the loose ends were tied up with vendors and decorations in the weeks leading up to the big day. He also flawlessly executed our liquor bottle place cards at the last minute that my husband decided he wanted 2 weeks before the wedding. This was not an easy task and Harry ROCKED it! Harry helped me and my mom keep our cool through the wedding day and made everything perfect. I can't thank Harry and his assistant enough for all their hard work leading up to and during our wedding. This team is certainly worth every penny! -

The CE team worked with us on our engagement party as well as our wedding. Each time, they helped us make our celebrations memorable and glitch-free. During planning, Rachel and her team were always providing helpful suggestions and creative ideas. Their design services truly transformed the space into something incredible. CE also provided gorgeous florals that conveniently mean you have one less vendor to search for. On the day of our wedding, the team made sure that everything was on time. Everyone raves about the beautiful bouquet Rachel provided as well as the bridesmaids bouquets.

Rachel and her team are awesome. We hired Rachel for day-of-coordination and also for flowers, décor, and signage. From the first meeting, it was clear that Rachel is take-charge and super organized. She showed up with a clipboard to our initial meeting before we even hired her and took notes the whole time and was very enthusiastic about our ideas, which was very different than other coordinators we met with before her. Rachel took over everything a month before the wedding, using very detailed info lists and handled all the final details and wrangling with our vendors. The day of the wedding ran completely smoothly, thanks to Rachel and her assistants, Caitlin and Harry. They even executed my Spotify self-DJ playlists with perfect timing. Rachel was very responsive to all our last minute questions and was even willing to add custom place cards to our contract 5 days before the wedding when we thought that an Etsy order had flaked. Knowing that we could count on Rachel in a pinch completely took the stress out of that situation. Rachel put together a design proposal incorporating mismatched bud vases with funky flowers in our chosen colors, along with terrariums and geodes to go with the dinosaurs that we spray painted copper. She also did a variety of chalkboard signs, including a seating chart, bar and dessert signs, and welcome sign. She took my vague design ideas like “geometric” and “eclectic” and completely and totally delivered. The flowers and décor were above and beyond what I was imagining and it literally took my breath away when I saw it all together. Our wedding was even more beautiful than I had hoped for, and that is due in large part to Creative Eventology. Rachel’s design and interpretation of our vision was perfect and you could tell that she and her team were very attentive to detail. If you’re on the fence about having a planner or coordinator or want something different or offbeat, bite the bullet and hire her immediately – it is so worth it. -

I first met Rachel from Creative Eventology 2.5 years ago when I photographed one of the weddings she had done the planning, florals, and chalkboard designs for. I was always so impressed by her creative work that I knew I had to hire her for my own wedding. Once the time came, Rachel did our florals, chalkboard designs and our succulent favors. From the start, she took my ideas and completely ran with them in the most perfect way. My florals were exactly what I envisioned; she was able to create something perfect for me. She even mixed in succulents and anemones in my bouquet that made me squeal with joy when she delivered them to my room on the day of the wedding. All of this AND she was able to stay within our budget! The centerpiece flowers were perfect and the size of them fit our tables and other elements better than I ever could have imagined. Her chalkboard designs were adorable - we had her create our table numbers and a sign for our succulent favors. She even sent us PDF’s of designs and allowed us to pick our favorites and easily made any changes we gave her. The succulent favors were gorgeous and we received so many compliments on them from our guests! She even allowed me to customize them by letting me choose the vase they were planted in. Rachel was super easy to work with, she arrived on time, set up all our tables (centerpieces, numbers, and the candelabras I brought) and even drove all the way to Cape May, NJ (which is a hike!!) for my wedding. I would highly recommend Rachel to everyone, she is a true creative pro! -

Rachel provided the flowers and decor for my wedding, and was absolutely wonderful to work with. She rolled with me as I changed my ideas for table names fifteen times and was gracious when I eventually decided to do them myself. She deciphered my incoherent opinions about flowers and provided beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres that exactly fit my taste. She easily added about five things as we got closer to the wedding and realized we needed more decor, and calmly added a third delivery location to her schedule for a very reasonable fee. Everyone getting married: you NEED Creative Eventology!! Wow...what a team! I first reached out to Rachel because I saw some of the work she did at another wedding at our venue, and when I checked out more of her work I knew I needed to reach out to her immediately. From the moment we first started talking I knew...this girl is good. She was so excited to hear my ideas and immediately set up an in person meeting to chat (she even traveled to a Starbucks near me for the meeting - so accommodating!) I decided to use Rachel for our florals/decor and coordination of both our wedding and rehearsal night. Throughout the planning process, I would contact Rachel with new questions/ideas/concerns MANY times, and each time she was so very responsive, patient and pleasant. She put together the most beautiful design proposal based on our vision. When she first showed it to me, I was jumping out of my chair with excitement! I started out wanting to incorporate a few chalkboards into my wedding and ended up with so many unique signage details!! We were planning our wedding from out of state and Rachel was very accommodating and was very prompt with all of her e-mail response. The team was so organized and thorough the day of the wedding they let us truly enjoy the reason we were there in the first place! They worked behind the scenes to execute every last minute to do. They kept us on schedule leading up to our ceremony and were so helpful with photos, the first look and shuttling our guests to our venue. I am sure they did much more than this I am just unaware :).
Leading up to our wedding day, Rachel was so focused and organized. She coordinated everything with all of my vendors- I didnt have to do a thing the week of my wedding! She created a perfect timeline for the big day that allowed all of us to truly enjoy the weekend. She is even still helping with a few left over things after the wedding!

Rachel and her team were truly amazing. I don't know what I would have done without them! The team was so organized and thorough the day of the wedding they let us truly enjoy the reason we were there in the first place! They worked behind the scenes to execute every last minute to do. They kept us on schedule leading up to our ceremony and were so helpful with photos, the first look and shuttling our guests to our venue. I am sure they did much more than this I am just unaware :).
Leading up to our wedding day, Rachel was so focused and organized. She coordinated everything with all of my vendors- I didnt have to do a thing the week of my wedding! She created a perfect timeline for the big day that allowed all of us to truly enjoy the weekend. She is even still helping with a few left over things after the wedding!
Not only were Rachel and her team amazing at what they do but they were also fun to be around.
I would highly recommend Creative Eventology!

Rachel was very helpful and very flexible. Due to our busy schedules, she was able to meet all my needs without meeting and everything was done through correspondence. The boards were very beautiful and they were a big hit! I was so happy with Rachel's services that I recommended her to my future sister-in-law to use for her and my brother's surprise wedding. I highly recommend Creative Eventology for all your party needs. -

Rachel Hanson and the Creative Eventology team made both the planning leading up to, and the day of my wedding fun and stress-free. If anything, I was stressed about how calm I was :). Since the venue we chose required us to handle most of the vendors and preparations ourselves, it was important for us to have a good wedding planner. Rachel has a wealth of knowledge and resources. She knew the right questions to ask and really went out of her way to pinpoint exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be. She helped find and pick the vendors that were right for us. Her whole team was helpful and knowledgeable as well and were a great help at the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. -

My sister in law reccomended using Rachel from Creative Eventology when we were looking for a professional chalkboard sign for our surprise theme wedding. I contacted Rachel using the info on her site. She got back to me immediately and we were able to set up an appt to discuss further our needs for our wedding. She was flexible with time and place to meet up. She had amazing ideas to help us further plan the surprise along with decorating our sign. We showed her pics of what we wanted and she was able to replicate it beautifully when it came time to pick it up! We had options to rent or buy our sign but in the end we decided to only rent it. Give her a couple weeks in advance to make your creations and you definetly be pleased! -

Rachel planned my wedding and was by my side from the beginning of planning to the end. I was planning from Florida, so we did most of the communicating by phone and email. She drove my matron of honor and I to pick out the perfect venue when I traveled up for the weekend to start planning. She thought of the best ideas and found the most affordable options. Rachel always kept on top of everything and I knew I could trust her to completely bring all of it to life on the big day. When I saw the reception space, I cried. Our ceremony space turned out absolutely beautiful, too. Rachel did all of our flower arrangements and they were perfect. I could go on all day- there were countless things she and her team did that made everything absolutely wonderful. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of, which was wonderful. Everything went incredibly well. I could not have had the wedding of my dreams without her. I highly recommend Rachel for all of your wedding planning needs!:) -

Rachel and her team were fantastic! My ceremony and reception were at two different locations, and I had school buses to shuttle guests in between the two, as well as back to the hotels. When it came to the day of the wedding, I was SO happy that I had hired Rachel to worry about everything so that I could just focus on the important, non-logistical issues: like getting married!! There were various small hitches throughout the day that I did not have to worry about at all: one of the buses was slightly late to the church, the timeline was pushed back during dinner, one of the groomsmen needed a button sewn on, I needed a hair pin to fix my hair before my big entrance into the reception, etc. Rachel's team took care of all of this and more.
It was also a huge relief to have Rachel and her team set up all my decorations in the morning. I left them all in a big pile with instructions, and Rachel made them look so amazing!! She went with what I gave her and made it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible. I was so happy when I walked into the tent and saw lots of little extra touches (like putting extra votive candles around the cake and guest book; placing the bridesmaid bouquets in mason jars on the head table -- I'm still not sure where those great jars came from!) that Rachel and her team took initiative on and I really liked.
Overall, I highly recommend Rachel to anyone planning a wedding! -

We hired Rachel a mere ten days before our wedding, when we found ourselves overwhelmed by the logistics of the day and increasingly aware that tending to the details on our wedding day would not allow us the time and space to relax, enjoy, and be fully present for the event on which we'd worked so hard.
Rachel impressed us from our very first correspondence with her, through the marathon walk-through we did a few days before the wedding, to the day itself. I expected her to be organized, but I was amazed and heartened by her calm, positive demeanor. Nothing went horrendously wrong on our wedding day, but Rachel is exactly who I would have wanted on my team if the unexpected were to occur: I have every confidence that she would have guided us through any situation with grace.
Hiring Creative Eventology was probably the best money that we spent on our wedding. Rachel and her assistant organized absolutely everything, leaving us to enjoy an unforgettable day. We'd give Rachel our highest recommendation. -

Our entire experience with Creative Eventology [aka Rachel Hanson] can be summed up in one word: WOW! Rachel was incredibly responsive from the moment we contacted her. At the first meeting we shared our vision, timeline and budget— and 48 hours latter Rachel got back to us with SEVERAL creative options! All of them within our budget guidelines. And boy did she deliver! The room looked beautiful. Plus we had an interactive black board that Rachel designed…which EVERYONE LOVED!! Obviously, we would highly recommend Creative Eventology…especially if you're someone who likes to work with super competent, creative, wholehearted professionals (and honestly, who doesn't!) -

Rachel did a great job, our wedding wouldn't have happened without her! Being a DIY bride, I had a ton of crafts and needed someone there on the day of to transport, setup and breakdown all of my decor at the ceremony and at the reception. Rachel met me for a walk through at the venue and reviewed my decor powerpoint on her ipad (so cool!). The day of, she transported everything to the venue, set everything up and broke everything down. It was so great to not have to worry about any of the decor aspects, I knew Rachel and her team had it covered. I loved that as part of our package, Rachel reached out to all of my vendors to confirm arrival times and details for the big day, came to the rehearsal dinner and met the entire bridal party and helped with the procession order and on the day of, in addition to the decor piece, made sure everything ran smoothly with the vendors, venue and caterer. I would highly recommend her services to any bride! -

We hired Creative Eventology to do Day-of-Coordination for our October 5th wedding. From the first moment I met Rachel, I was impressed with her warm and professional demeanor. She has a lot of passion for helping couples have a wonderful wedding day.
We were looking to work with a Day-of-Coordinator because we were planning a very DIY wedding. We knew we needed a professional to execute all of our ideas and keep things moving smoothly throughout the event. Choosing to work with Creative Eventology was an easy decision. Rachel was willing to put together a customized package that suited our needs, which were primarily support with the rehearsal and running the show on the wedding day.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding Rachel was a wonderful resource. She made my job easy by asking for the details and information she and her team needed for our wedding. She was always open to my creative ideas and offered suggestions whenever I asked for them. She offered her services in designing customized chalkboards, which were a beautiful addition to our wedding decor.
On the wedding day, Rachel worked tirelessly to ensure that all our requested details fell into place. She was like the energizer bunny - she just kept going and going to ensure that we and our guests enjoyed the festivities.
Hiring Creative Eventology was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. I cannot recommend Rachel and her services highly enough! It was clear every step of the way that Rachel saw herself as there to support our dreams and wishes for a happy wedding, which made working with her a delight.

As the decorating scheme became more complicated for our daughter’s themed wedding it became clear that we needed a Day of Coordinator to facilitate the look we wanted so that the wedding party could enjoy the day. Rachel enthusiastically accepted the challenge of transforming our venue into the “Wonderland” that we envisioned and faithfully implemented the complicated decorating plan we had developed. Additionally, Rachel organized and flawlessly ran our rehearsal which was a huge relief to us as many of the wedding party had no experience in this regard. We were confident on the Big Day that our months of planning and the coordination of all of our vendors would be overseen by a professional and any problems would be competently handled. Rachel exceeded our expectations! The venue was transformed, the vendors were able to perform their tasks seamlessly, the wedding party knew what they needed to do, the parents were able to enjoy the ceremony and reception and most importantly the bride and groom smiled all day and night. Thank you Rachel, for your professionalism, your organizational savvy and most of all for your humor.

Rachel was absolutely everything we could have hoped for in a day-of wedding coordinator. She was calm, cool, and collected, always professional and friendly, and a pure joy to work with. We knew right away that Creative Eventology would be a good fit for us, because not only did Rachel embrace every idea we had for our ceremony and reception, but she went out of her way to make sure all of those pieces would come together seamlessly. (For example, we were pretty certain we didn't want to hire a DJ for our wedding, and while a different coordinator we had spoken to previously had told us, "There's no way you can have a wedding without a professional DJ," Rachel told us, "Let's figure out how to make that happen." Then she proceeded to ask all the right questions about playlists, and timing, and sound equipment, and other things we probably wouldn't have considered otherwise. The whole thing went off without a hitch, thanks to Rachel's good sense and smart planning.)
We can honestly say that we didn't have any worries on our wedding day at all, because we knew Creative Eventology was on top of it. If there was a single meltdown or disaster on the day of the wedding, neither of us was aware of it in the slightest. Furthermore, Rachel somehow managed to organize and coordinate everything without ever being pushy or demanding. With her sheer good grace, she got everyone in the right place at the right time, and made sure that not a detail was out of place. Our parents, wedding party, and vendors all had only glowing things to say about her.
Rachel also coordinated our flowers for us, and made all of our bouquets and corsages. They were gorgeous, and we were so glad we had her do them. After only a few discussions and swapping of photos, she somehow figured out exactly what we had in mind and turned it into flower magic. Rachel is pretty much a magician all-around. Five enthusiastic stars from both of us! -

Creative Eventology was our best vendor for our wedding on June 8th, 2013.
Rachel and her crew were amazing. Rachel is an outstanding wedding planner and went well above and beyond to make our special day what it was meant to be.
We had plenty of obstacles when trying to plan our wedding but as soon as we met Rachel the only thing we had to worry about was circling the date on the calendar. She was on top of her game and walked us through the entire process step-by-step. Her communication was outstanding as she reached out weekly and held scheduled meetings throughout certain points along the way to ensure we were all on the same page.
Rachel brought things to the table that we would have NEVER thought out. Her extra efforts and expertise is what really separates her from other wedding planners.
Their expertise in wedding planning made our life a lot easier, and it will make your life easier to! Out of all the vendors I would recommend for a wedding, Creative Eventology is a CAN'T MISS!

I can't say enough about Rachel and the team at Creative Eventology. From the moment I met Rachel, her professionalism and organizational skills shone through and proved themselves in spades throughout the course our relationship. I hired Rachel and her team for the Weekend Wedding package and floral and design services (even though my wedding was technically on a weekday). I sent Rachel so many emails and went through so many different ideas and complete revisions before I was happy with the look and feel for the wedding, but Rachel worked through proposal after proposal unfazed. Thanks to Rachel and her team, my wedding was the first party I've ever thrown that I didn't have to worry about being a host! They did a great job coordinating day-of, so that I could just be a bride and enjoy my day. The flowers were beautiful and, much to my surprise, a toss bouquet appeared at my wedding that I hadn't even thought of! If you need day of planning and/or design services on a budget I'd recommend Creative Eventology! -

Post-wedding issues ruined our wedding memories
Rachel communicated with all of our vendors so we didn't have to, and gave them all necessary paperwork. It was wonderful to have her manage all of that so that we didn't have to.
We decided to hire CE for design services, too, because I was feeling overwhelmed. My husband likes simplicity (think: almost no design at all), and I like lots of color, flowers, and things. CE presented us with an incredible design experience, from giving us options of look + feel, to a step-by-step guide of how our wedding would look, always keeping in mind our wants and blending them together. Rachel even designed a custom seating chart, card box, and guest book. She also HAND SCULPTED our cake stand and a topper to make it look like a giraffe. Somehow, our wedding looked EVEN MORE STUNNING than the ideas when it was all said and done. Rachel even did the sweetest thing and put a bleached sunflower in my bouquet to match my other flowers, a nod to my original bouquet.
The CE team made sure that we were fed, had time alone, on-time, and relaxed during our day.
Abby and Janna stayed with my husband or I all day, and I never had any need that they couldn't (and didn't) address. Abby even fixed my hair and mended my reception dress at one point! Abby and Janna were incredible!-

The CE team helped execute a flawless evening! Rachel and Emily were so attentive- it was such a relief knowing that they were there to handle all the vendor coordination, make sure everything went according to plan, and take care of any emergencies (like when red wine spilled all over my dress!). The whole night went off without a hitch, which is something I don't think most brides can say!
We also had CE create a few signs for us- they looked great and the guests loved them! They added some charm and fun to the evening. -
