Working with Brenda as a vendor was truly wonderful. She was incredibly organized, thoughtful in every detail, and always one step ahead which made the entire day feel smooth and stress free for everyone involved. Amazing Wedding Planning-Start to Finish!

Brenda & her team were the smartest investment we could have ever made for our wedding day! She was so responsive and helpful through all of the planning. My fiancé teases that she dealt with our “crazy” flawlessly 🤣 She made my vision come to life and I am so thankful. We were very unique in our timeline and had an extremely LONG wedding day and she still made it happen. I would 100% recommend her, the value in her work is so worth it!!

Made our day easy and stress free

Brenda is truly so talented, but more importantly, she is kind. She made our day run so smoothly and really listened to what mattered to me and applied it so thoughtfully. I didn't have any worries on my wedding day and that is due entirely to her talent and care. We came to Brenda through a recommendation when our original coordinator backed out and my only regret is we did not hire Brenda sooner!!

Blissful Wedding Day

Weddings are expensive these days and often stressful to plan. Hiring Brenda was absolutely the best decision we made! She was on top of everything from the beginning and always quick to respond when things cropped up, as they always do!

I had the best experience working with Brenda. We discovered her through friends who were using her for their wedding. After the wedding we got her business card and the rest was history. Brenda is so thorough and organized. She hooked us up with some amazing vendors per her recommendation and we could not have been happier. As our day of coordinator, she hit the ground running 30 days out and by the wedding, everything was taken care of. She gave us the freedom to really enjoy our wedding day and even checked in after to make sure deposits were returned and we were taken care of. The best use of our budget was Brenda. She is so cool and thoughtful. She is experienced and knows what she’s doing. I am forever grateful for her energy and support. My day was perfect because of her and her team.

Awesome wedding planner

Fantastic Day! Brenda is awesome!

Brenda was my wedding coordinator and my wedding designer. I couldn’t have been more thrilled at how beautifully she transformed our space into a romantic and magical space. Brenda is a professional, she worked and coordinated with all of our vendor and handled them with exacting detail. I could not have imagined a more perfect day. I got to experience and enjoy my day because I knew she had it all covered. Our day was perfection thanks to Brenda and her team!

Our day would not have been so special without her. She handled everything and managed all the details. This woman is the best! She saw and made my vision a reality and the best day ever!

McKenna and Davis Wedding

Our wedding was an amazing, fun, and most of all a memorable night for everyone involved and we seriously couldn't have done any of that without Brenda. Throughout our entire planning process, a month out, rehearsal day, and the wedding day Brenda was there to help ease our concerns and ensure all questions were answered. She went out of her way multiple times to help us in the months before and was always available for a quick text or call. She tied everything together brilliantly and made our special day the best it could have ever been. We had a rough vision for our reception and ceremony and Brenda took it to the next level with all of the special attention to details and made sure that everything was perfect.

Amazing!

Brenda was without a doubt, the best investment into our wedding! She was recommended to us by one of our other vendors and her and her team were an essential piece in making sure that our big day went smoothly. Our wedding was on the smaller side with about 70 guests total in attendance and our venue had two main locations, one for the ceremony and the other for the reception. Brenda was truly able to relieve all of the stress and worrying from my husband and I on our wedding day and that alone is worth every penny. Her and her team were a delight to work with, we would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Amazing wedding coordinator!

Brenda was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and would be able to answer any questions we had. She was very flexible with are schedules to discuss anything we needed for the wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help guide me and give me ideas of how to plan the most important day of my adult life. She went above and beyond to give me the freedom to contact her when ever I needed to, she was easy to talk and brainstorm with. She was so smart and strategic with every inch of the planning process. Every vendor she suggested to me I used and they were fantastic! She was on top of a lot of the emailing and fine details I felt overwhelmed with. All the boxes got checked and nothing went overlooked. couldn't have done it without her!!

About 4 months prior to my wedding my original "day of coordinator" flaked out on me. I was absolutely panicked with it being so close to our wedding and didn't know what to do. My photographer referred Brenda and she did an absolutely amazing job stepping in and taking control of everything we needed to get done in a short amount of time. I think it was fate that it happened because I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job than Brenda! She is 100% the person you want and NEED to help with your wedding. Being in the business for so long, she is one step ahead of you with things you wouldn't even think about! We had a little mishap with the power being out at the venue for a little bit after our ceremony and Brenda did an amazing job handling it. So good that I (the bride) didn't have any idea for the longest time LOL. If you want someone that you can count on to get things done and keep everyone in check, Brenda is your girl! I can't thank her enough for making our day as perfect as it could be

She puts her heart and soul into her work

Not only is Brenda an incredible human being, but she's also so attentive, detail oriented, and passionate about what she does.

She was a gem to have at our micro-wedding at Anderson House. She took care of all of the vendors and everything flowed so seamlessly. She had a way of making my fiance and I feel so special and attended to at ALL times. She personalizes her client experience so well because she wants to get to know YOU so she can deliver you custom-tailored results. And she did just that. The design was everything I could have imagined, and more. I'm so incredibly happy with the results that I wish I could relive it.

I'm a wedding photographer myself and I have worked with MANY of planners. Very few can compare to my experience with Brenda. She takes care of her vendors and her clients equally. We are so so grateful. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I did day-of planning with Brenda and let me tell you she did way more than day-of work. I can't give Brenda enough credit. I worked with Brenda as another vendor, being the wedding photographer. so glad I decided to go with a planner!

Brenda was so awesome to work with. I wasnt even sure about using a wedding planner, but i am soooo very happy I chose creationsbyBrenda! I was so nervous about everything and especially about making sure both sets of parents would be happy. Afterwards, even my mother-in-law (who is very picky) told me she was impressed. Fantastic!

Brenda was absolutely fantastic to work with! My husband and I have a large blended family with both parents being divorced and at odds. She was able to not only run the show, keep us on track, keep the parents happy, maintain professionalism but was there constantly. When I would realized I needed her for something she would pop up. Our day was so busy I did not have time to help with set up like I had wished, we had to trust Brenda would pull our vision together. She did! We saw the reception room right before guest were to enter and were floored. She captured exactly what we were looking for. She thought of things we had no clue to think of. Could not have asked for a better day and a better wedding planner. We still continue to get compliments on her team and how wonderful the wedding was!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Brenda! Our wedding came together seamlessly, which was a huge task as I was planning my wedding from another state. Brenda was on top of everything and gave me such a peace that our special day was in good hands. Our wedding went off without a hitch due to Brenda and her professionalism and dedication to us as a couple having the most perfect evening imaginable. Knowing after the fact that there were some issues with our vendors and the property as a whole, it amazes me that we didn't notice that night and everything was perfect. Our wedding went off without a hitch and we have Brenda to thank for that! Her work was so much more than Day-Of, she helped coordinate vendors weeks before the wedding, gave us vendor recommendations, talked us through some of our wedding planning decisions, and always made sure that we were on the same page for what we wanted for our wedding. Our wedding had a lot of little details (special place settings, a photobooth and special decorations) that Brenda and her team carried out exactly as we had discussed. On the few occasions where something couldn't happen as we had imagined she made great decisions in our place because she knew exactly what kind of style we were going for with our wedding. Like everyone, we had high aspirations for our wedding and we wanted our family and friends to simply relax and have a good time so everything needed to happen seamlessly. Brenda was awesome!! She is every bit the professional that you need when having a wedding. She did the rehearsal & day of for us. We showed her pictures of what we wanted & she went above & beyond what we asked for. She had everything running on track with the before, during & after. She has so much experience & vision that she was able to help us with what we wanted. As the mother of the bride & the one that is used to doing it all, I was able to sit back & let her take the reigns & know that it would get done & be the best!!

She made sure that all of the brides wishes were done to the utmost perfection. When the budget came into effect it was never an issue to still fulfill every expectation. Brenda was OUTSTANDING! We met with her a few times before the wedding, went over everything as needed plus she knew our location for the wedding very well. She knew vendors that we needed and advised us on many questions we had through out the process. Without her, I would have been lost! She was worth every penny ((and would've paid double to be honest!!))

Brenda was amazing through out the whole wedding planning and day off logistics. As the groom, Brenda made sure to make me feel involved in the whole process and was very receptive of my input. I knew I could count on the Brenda without question. A few days before the ceremony I decided to change the Mother and Son song and was meant to contact the DJ. Brenda always being the one on top of things duly reminded me and assisted me in informing our DJ of the switch up. And lastly, come day of the ceremony and I can recall the numerous laughs and moments Brenda was there to ensure everything was going as planned. From ensuring that myself and my beautiful bride were eating our meals, luring us away to a quiet spot to gather our thoughts and making sure all our vendors were on time performing their jobs. Again I stop to state how amazing Brenda was. Thank you Brenda for ensuring that our wedding day went as planned and was an amazing party.

Brenda was amazing! I live out of state and without her, there is no way our wedding would have gone as smoothly as it did. Brenda went above and beyond for our wedding in so many ways. From her huge day-of emergency kit to hand folding all the reception napkins to keeping me calm down before walking down the aisle, we could not have done this without her! She was always available by phone or email and I always felt that she was on my side. She ensured that my vision for the wedding happened even if she needed to have awkward conversations with vendors or members of the bridal party. I can not say enough good things about Brenda. She is awesome!!!! I had her recommended by a friend who had previously used her and I have no regrets using her as my planner!!

She was always available when needed, I probably e-mailed her at least two times a day. I worked hand in hand with her on every little detail of the wedding. She came along to all of my appointments and recomended some great vendors to use. She knows exactly what she is talking about and doing when it comes to weddings.

My wedding was everything I imagined and I couldnt have done it without Brenda!! After working with her for 11 months planning my wedding, my mom and I consider her a friend:) She is absolutely the best!!!

Brenda is invaluable! We used her for Day-Of coordination, but her services extend so much further than just the Day-Of. Before the wedding, she makes sure you have considered every possible detail. No wedding website can give you a comprehensive checklist to make sure you have thought of everything, but Brenda can and does! She also takes cares of checking in with your vendors, coordinating them, setting up, and taking down ALL of the decorations. She also puts together timelines and makes sure everything runs on time. Our wedding reception had lots of little events (roughly seven different ones that required everyone to be coordinated) in a four-hour window. Brenda made sure everything ran on time and smoothly. With Brenda, my groom and I were able to just enjoy our wedding and not stress out about every detail. She also made it so that our family members would not get stuck putting up and taking down decorations. I highly recommend her to any bride who is looking for a low-stress wedding day!

Having lived in Virginia for only 2 years prior to getting engaged, I was at a loss on how to plan a wedding in the area. All of my family live in NY so I was really on my own and needed a lot of help. I decided to look for a full-coordinator and ended up finding Brenda. She made everything SO easy, and honestly, if it wasn't for her I probably would have given up and eloped!

Words really cannot express how terrific Brenda is. She works with the greatest vendors which made it very easy for me to make selections-- something I couldn't have done on my own with so many choices in the area. She is extremely responsive, to the point of answering emails within minutes, and was always available by phone. She is supportive and reassuring to no end. There were many times when I was on the brink of a nervous breakdown and Brenda was always there to calm me down (which is no small feat--just ask my husband!).

The day of the wedding was perfect, she truly made my dream come true. I cannot recommend Brenda enough! Whether you're looking for day of, partial, or full coordination, Creations by Brenda is the way to go!

Brenda was referred to us by three other friends, and we hired her to provide day of coordination services for our fall wedding. There is absolutely no way that we would have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding without Brenda. We hired her for her "day of services" for our wedding in September 2012, and she went above and beyond what we would have expected most coordinators to do. She periodically checked in with us throughout the whole wedding planning process, gave us honest recommendations, and reviewed all of our contracts and pointed out things that we never would have noticed. Brenda was extremely responsive via email or phone and made herself available 24/7. That was so important to us, especially closer to the wedding when time is not on your side; so to have her be able to help us make decisions in a matter of a few days or few hours were crucial.

On the day of, there were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that Brenda couldn't handle! In fact to an outsider, you would have never noticed. We had a crazy storm pass through in the afternoon and Brenda was keeping a close eye on the weather services minute by minute to make a final decision (because our reception was outside). She timed everything perfectly and readjusted the timeline so that we could bring out the tables and have the dinner outside on the back patio like we had originally planned. She was very easy to work with, organized, and always made my then-fiance-now-husband and I feel comfortable about how the day would pan out. If you're looking for someone who knows a lot about the industry, is extremely professional, and truly cares about making sure you are taken care of, then we'd highly recommend hiring Brenda!

I would HIGHLY recommend Brenda's wedding services. I was not convinced I needed a wedding planner but looking back, I have no idea how I would have survived without her. I was able to remain calm and enjoy my wedding day knowing she was there to handle any unexpected events. And she was a life saver to have at the end of our wedding to pack up all the centerpieces, gifts, etc. and to allow our family and friends to fully enjoy our special day.

Brenda is fantastic! My husband and I hired Brenda for partial wedding planning and her day of services. She is a great listener and made our dream wedding become a reality. The entire day exceeded our expectations, and most importantly, was stress free for myself (the bride), my husband, and our parents. Brenda was very professional and business oriented- exactly what you need when working with multiple vendors. She coordinated all the vendor deliveries so everything was ready on time and exactly as discussed and contracted for. Creations by Brenda was truly my life saver during wedding planning. Brenda is the sweetest, most organized, and most understanding person ever! Let me start off by explaining my wedding process! My now husband and I were engaged for over a year and a half. Since day one I thought planning a wedding would be easy and that hiring a planner would be a waste, seeing I had been planning my dream wedding since the age of 5 ;) BUT let me tell you hiring Brenda and her team was the best money I spent at my wedding! Brenda from day one understood my vision and took it and ran with it. Throughout the year leading up to my weddingI I graduated college, started a new full time job, moved, switched schedules at work, but throughout it all Brenda was there controlling everything! She was the biggest lifesaver! She handled all the vendor information, fine tuned all the day of information, and took all the stress off me so on the day of I was calm as a cucumber ;) I told her from day one that she was a SAINT and she never once made me doubt my decision to hire her! She is the most amazing wedding planner and she truly made my dream wedding into a wedding that could be in a Bride magazine (no joke see the pictures) ;) I highly recommend Brenda, I promise you will never regret your decision!

I can't say enough about Brenda! I've always had the mindset "i have time" "i don't need a planner" "the venue has an in-house person".

Let me tell you, i couldn't have been more wrong! having brenda in our corner was such a relief and made the whole wedding planning process enjoyable! neither myself or my fiancee' felt stressed, pressured or worried. We had multiple meetings with her going over our wedding. She handled all the contract negotiations and reviewed them as well. She took care of every aspect on day of, from coordination with all the vendors, making sure my fiancee' received roses i had order for her to be sent to her room and so much more.

She even saved us a bunch of money with her contacts in the industry.

I can't even begin to express the relief it was when had issues with other vendors and she was already 3-4 steps ahead of it resolving the problems.

I'd pay for her over and over again with out any hesitation!

We used Creations by Brenda for our wedding planner more specifically a day of coordinator. We couldn't have been more pleased and happy with Brenda. She has helped us in so many ways that truly made our wedding a success. She is always quick to respond and help in the wedding process any way she can. There were some drama that occurred with our venue before the wedding that Creations by Brenda helped us deal with and work out everything to the point that we were happy with the resolution. It was so nice to have someone else stress and worry about all the details for me during my big day. There were some things that came up the day of the wedding, but Brenda was so awesome that she kept all the drama away from me and the groom and handled everything behind the curtains so that during the wedding we knew nothing went astray. Brenda and her team were amazing in all the details of putting everything together from the centerpieces, candy buffet, to the chair ties and cushions, to the cake table, and everything else we had. Everything was beautiful and things looked exactly how I had envisioned. Where do we even begin to tell you how happy we are with Creations By Brenda?? Brenda came to us as a perk by using our reception location - a free, full-service wedding planner. Who could turn that down?? We had NO IDEA just how invaluable this small decision would be. We were firmly in the camp that we could plan this thing ourselves, no big deal. Once we started getting into the weeds and working with Brenda, we realized just how wrong we were. I mean, sure, we could have done it all by ourselves, and it would have been nice. But with Brenda, it was exceptional! Every single one of her vendor recommendations were spot on, and we only met with one each and after each initial visit, we booked. Every single one of them delivered. She really helped us flesh out our vision when we basically knew what we wanted, but weren't sure, and she was able to read between the lines and steer us in a direction that we ultimately wanted, but did not realize. She is firm and honest in her opinions, but NEVER harsh or overbearing. I always defaulted to her opinion, and she never lead me astray. She helped us stay under budget and really made sure every one of our vendors delivered as expected. Planning a wedding is a huge endeavor, and you really need to have a good team of professionals in place to handle their particular aspect of the day. She was the icing on the cake of that team that really pulled it all together. She was our support through it all, and ALWAYS made us feel like we were her only clients. We are so proud of the wedding we had, and we owe a signficant amount of that to her. While we do not have any idea what her rate costs, we can, with absolute certainty, say that she is worth EVERY PENNY, if not more! Go with Brenda, and not only will you have a fantastic wedding to be proud of, you'll gain a friend in the end!

Where to begin....Brenda was highly recommended by a friend, but I wasn't initially sold on the idea of a wedding planner. I thought I could handle it all on my own. WOW! I couldn't have been MORE wrong. Brenda was right beside me during the 17 long months of planning. Whether it was to attend a tasting, provide creative ideas, review contracts, or recommend a vendor, Brenda was not only extremely insightful but very thorough in making sure the vision of our wedding was achieved.

The weeks leading up to our wedding, Brenda made sure that my anxiety was at a minimum by contacting all my vendors to ensure that of every fine detail of every contract was fulfilled and everything was "ready to go." This allowed me to focus on myself and enjoy time with my family and friends. Not to mention, my groom was quite pleased that I didn't turn in to a Bridezilla at the end!

We had a rather large wedding party which Brenda coralled beautifully at rehearsal and on our wedding day which was no small feat! She and her awesome assistant, Carmen, ensured that we were on schedule, fed, hydrated, and didn't need for anything throughout the entire day and night. At the conclusion of the night, Brenda and Carmen had everything packed up and ready to go all while dealing with transportation issues and other vendors.

I really could go on and on regarding how amazing Brenda is and how thankful I am that made the decision to chose her. I realize that there are a lot of wedding planners out there but I am more than confident in saying that you will not find a more organized, trustworthy, thoughtful and fun coordinator to help plan your wedding day. From the very beginning she provided us with guidance and recommended incredible vendors and negotiated contracts that saved us hundreds of dollars.
We were married at a church in Washington, DC and had our reception at a vineyard in Virginia. She handled setting up, including decorating, at BOTH locations with ease. She stayed at our wedding until the very end, even taking care of a guest who had 1 too many drinks ;)
We could not have had such an incredible and stress free day with out Brenda. I highly recommend her services. She worth every penny, affordable, and fabulous!

Brenda was the BEST! She was helpful and professional and really did a lot of the grunt work for us. My husband and I were very pleased with Creations by Brenda. We were on a tight budget, and her price was very reasonable and affordable. We only contracted for day-of coordination, but she went way above and beyond what I expected. Any random questions that we had she was always happy to answer. She never put a limit on how many times we could call or meet with her, which some day-of coordinators do. She was also very responsive, and always contacted me shortly after I contacted her.

The icing on the cake was how perfectly she understood our vision of the day. It's always hard to tell from a meeting if someone understands the image of your wedding day in your head, but Brenda really "got it". Our day was everything I ever dreamed of and more. It looked amazing, and ran so smoothly. Creations by Brenda is an excellent service, you will not be dissapointed!!

I don't even know where to begin! Brenda was fantastic. I was referred by a friend whose wedding I was in and got to see Brenda's day of coordination. I knew that day that I had to have her for my big day! I booked her right away and had her for 13 months. She helped me find a reception venue, a baker, a florist, a shuttle, and chair covers, napkins, and bows for all the right prices! She then continued to book all of my appointments for meeting the baker, the florist, and the DJ. She sat down with me on numerous occasions to discuss my dream wedding and the details that I wanted to go into it! She made my gorgeous centerpieces and much more. Then, my wedding day came.... As soon as I walked into my reception, I was blown away! It was beyond what we had expected. Everything was done exactly the way I wanted it and more. I highly recommend Brenda. Working with Brenda was such a pleasure. I had complete confidence in her the day of my daughter's wedding that I was able to totally enjoy the whole day with no worries! The day was perfect thanks to Brenda and her staff, I am going to miss her now that the big day has come and gone.

Brenda was amazing. We were so taken not only by everything she did- but the way she did it. Her personality, her professionalism, and her commitment to every detail was beyond what anyone could ask for in a wedding planner. She provided a sense of peace throughout the entire process and wedding day, not only to us, but to both of our families. We will always be grateful to Brenda for making our wedding day so special!

Creations by Brenda was all that & more. Brenda was an amazing person to work with. From Day 1 she kept us at ease. She knew we were working with a budget & from that point on she took it from there. She didnt let us go too much obver budget, & IF we did, it wasnt by much & well worth it. Brenda & her assistant, Carmen, are wonderful, kind, professional women. They took my vision & created the most wonderful night for us, our families & our friends. Our wedding has been the talk of the town for the past couple days & Im sure it will continue to be. IT was beautiful w/o breaking the bank. I had no type of REAL stress on the day-of. Everything ran so smoothly & I owe it ALL to Creations by Brenda. I highly recommend any bride to be to get a wedding coordinator & I MOST DEFINATELY recommend Creations by Brenda. Thank you AGAIN & AGAIN Brenda & Carmen!!!

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Brenda is. She goes above and beyond and puts 110% into everything she does. Our wedding was better than we could ever imagine and we owe it to her. She took the stress out of dealing with vendors, she saved us a lot of money, and she had GREAT ideas that made our wedding very special. She was there the day of to make sure everything went smoothly with the vendors, the guest, the bridal party and everything else through out the day. I HIGHLY recommend Brenda!! She made our day PERFECT!

I was under the mistaken impression I could plan my wedding myself. I found Brenda not a moment too soon. Brenda took the reins and handled every detail of my wedding in a professional manner. Brenda was always available to take my calls and everything turned out great! My wedding day became everything I hoped for and more thanks to Brenda's focus on detail. I would highly recommend Creations by Brenda to anyone and everyone who needs an event planner. Brenda is worth her weight in gold!

Creations by Brenda did a wonderful job at taking my vision for my wedding and bringing it to light. They are very cost effective as far as getting you want you want or need a decent prices. The patience with changes and suggestions were wonderful. In the end, they created a wedding that many guests claimed was "the best wedding they have ever been to". I highly recommend their services 100%.
