Terry at CJSD did amazing work!

Terry was the DJ for our outdoor wedding for 150 guests. To say he did exceptional would be an understatement! All of our guests had such a great time the whole night! We provided a very basic list of songs for him and he turned and improved the list exponentially to keep everyone on the dance floor all night as well as a calm yet upbeat cocktail hour. He represented himself and the company so professionally and we even got a pic with him at the end of the night! I HIGHLY recommend hiring CJSD (request Terry!) for anyone looking for a DJ.

Helped give me peace of mind!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Crackerjack Sound Decisions. They were so responsive and helpful from day 1. I loved the website, it was so easy to add songs and create the mix I wanted. Our dj was awesome, we met beforehand & he played everything I had wanted and set the perfect mood throughout the wedding. They also provided the microphones for the ceremony that was outside. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Get The Party Started

Chris was perfect for keeping the party going and keeping the guest entertained. He had a great mix from the 70s to current day. The dance floor only stopped moving when he needed us to have our special moments like the bouquet/garter toss and the cake cutting. He was responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The guests also liked that a speaker was set up outside so the guests could hear the ceremony. We highly recommend Chris if you want to keep your guests entertained.

Simply the best!

Chris and Jessica are the perfect duo for DJ services! My sister had hired them for her wedding four years ago, which they did an amazing job and they remembered exactly which wedding it was. From the get go, Jessica did a fantastic job ensuring that they knew what our musical tastes were. They were game for anything that we were up to doing and made the process extremely stress free, answering any questions that we had. We loved how personable and easy going they were! For our June wedding, Chris did a fantastic job keeping our guests out on the dance floor. We were not the traditional couple in the sense that we did not have a first dance, but Chris played different genres of music in just the right order that we ended up having an unexpected first dance towards the end of the night. Everything was perfect and many guests commented on how wonderful Chris was. We could not have asked for a better night and we will recommend Chris and Jessica 100 times over. Thank you for the sweet memories!

Take the stress out of your wedding day!

We used both Chris and Jessica for our July wedding and we are so glad we did! They made our wedding day a dream come true. Jessica was always so willing to answer any questions I had and always there to make sure my wedding day went smoothly. Honestly-when I say I had no stress as a bride it was completely due to Jessica and her willingness to help however she could. Chris was also the most engaging and fun DJ you could ever ask for! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. He even let one of our young guests help him out in his DJ booth. Chris and Jessica were not only our vendors, but quickly became our friends!

Amazing and a life saver!

Four days before our wedding, our DJ that we had booked for almost a year had a family emergency come up. Being the professional that he is, he reached out to Chris at Crackerjack and secured him to be his stand in for our big day. Chris was amazing! We talked to him over the phone a few nights before the wedding and we could tell he had it all under control and would do a great job for us. Which is exactly what he did! He was very professional and made sure our guests had a great time. We definitely recommend him!!

We actually "won" Jessica as a day of planner and hired Chris as our DJ for our wedding in Nov 2017. They were both unbelievable! They went so far and above to make our day special. Christ was an awesome DJ and totally "got us" and knew understood what music we would enjoy but would also get folks out on the dance floor. Jessica was way more than a day of planner, she made our day perfect! We can not thank them enough for everything they did. We has issues with our venue and they took charge and got everything we needed and fought for us! We honestly feel like they were a true blessing and we feel like we made friends for life! We can not recommend them enough, they are simply AMAZING!

Chris was the DJ for our wedding and Jessica coordinated. I can't say enough good things about them! They met with us several times during the planning process and offered endless suggestions for things we could consider for the wedding. Hire them. People who don't usually dance, danced all night long at our wedding. The music was great, Chris was awesome, and everything went so smoothly. Easy to communicate with Chris and Jessica the entire time, and I could not have asked for better. Thanks so much!!!

Michael was awesome. He did an absolutely phenomenal job at our wedding. He chose music to the mood of the crowd and the moment perfectly, he was able to adapt to a few spur of the moment changes (e.g when our friend altered the timeline dramatically by playing 5 songs on guitar instead of 2, it was awesome and Michael was able to read how much we loved it and didn't miss a beat), and he went out of his way to be considerate (e.g., he helped me plate my BBQ so there was no chance her dress would get messy, he made sure my husband had a drink about two minutes after arriving).

Crackerjack Sound Decisions was absolutely perfection! Chris & his wife, Jessica, made my day flawless. Whether it was last minute decisions based on the weather or gathering people on the dance floor, their teamwork was phenomenal! I couldn't have pictured my wedding to be any more perfect with those two in charge. Chris played songs that kept people on the dance floor for hours! I am pretty sure the floor was never empty. My husband and I had a blast dancing the night away with all of our friends. I definitely recommend Crackerjack for any event!

I have used Crackerjack Sounds as the DJ for a high school dance for 3 years in a row now. Chris does a great job of playing songs that the students want to hear, while also making sure the playlist is appropriate. Be sure to ask about any discounts for schools.

We hired Chris to be our DJ at our wedding and could not have been happier with our decision! He was absolutely fantastic! He was so easy to work with and was great about meeting with us beforehand to make sure he knew what we wanted. He was great at keeping the crowd engaged and making sure everything ran smoothly during the reception. His wife Jessica, is also amazing! I decided I wanted a slideshow last minute and just threw one together and sent it to them, and she stayed up late working on it for me and making sure it was perfect for us! If anyone is looking for a DJ, we would highly recommend them! We are so glad we chose them!

Jessica and Chris were amazing to work with. I met with them multiple times prior to the wedding to discuss details and they were always attentive. Jessica made sure everything was perfect the day of the wedding & Chris kept the guest engaged. My wedding wouldn't have been perfect without the help of these two. Met Chris and Jess awhile back through my job. Chris does trivia every Tuesday night at the bar I work at and it's always a hit. From the moment I approached him about DJing my wedding, him and his wife were so helpful. Besides my venue, they were my first vendor I booked and they helped me find all of my other vendors. They are SO knowledgeable about the industry and always willing to give a helping hand from advice to offering decorations for the day of. They stayed in contact with me through the whole planning process. The day of my wedding was crazy, as I got married the day Hurricane Matthew rolled through, but Chris and Jess handled every last minute change like pros! They kept my ceremony on time, my people in place, my sound on point, and my music rocking! I am so happy I booked them and would recommend their services to anyone and everyone! Not only are they professional, they are people you actually want to hang out with! Thanks guys, you rock!!!

Chris helped make our whole wedding and reception wonderful! He made sure everything happened according to our timeline from the processional songs all the way to our sparkler exit. His energy and personality made everyone feel welcome. You can definitely tell he is a professional in his service area. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an involved, energetic DJ who also takes the time to get to know you as a couple in order to make your wedding day perfect!

My eldest daughter wanted to hire Crackerjack for her wedding 16 months ago but Chris was already booked, so when my youngest daughter was planning for her Wedding for Aug. 20, 2016 Chris was at the top of the list. We simply could not have done better! An excellent job, both in setting up upstairs in our venue for the ceremony, downstairs for the cocktail hour and back upstairs later for the reception. We received so many compliments on the music selection and the little touches that made the night all the more special. I could not recommend Chris any more highly than saying he is the consummate professional, while being entertaining, flexible and creative. You should hire Crackerjack Sound Decisions for any event you are having, you will not be disappointed!

Jessica and Chris were absolutely AMAZING. I wish I could give them 10 stars for the remarkable job they did in making our wedding so wonderful. From the beginning stages of planning to our big day, Jessica was so helpful, organized, and professional. My husband and I look back on our wedding day with such joy, and it couldn't have been possible without Jessica and Chris. What an awesome wedding DJ! Chris Roland is definitely the right choice when hiring a dj for your wedding! Played great music, great communication leading up to the big day and handled every last detail to perfection! Chris and his wife Jessica are so easy to work with. Jessica is a wedding coordinator which i didnt need because mine was provided by my venue but if i hadnt had one i would have hired her on the spot! Chris and Jessica are just the sweetest!!! They were very responsive throughout the entire process and have a great online system they use for brides/grooms to plug in and organize all of their music/song choices. It was easy to use and made for a great tool to make sure we were not forgetting any songs that were important. We didnt give them much to go on for reception music, we said top 40's with a few throwbacks and great 80's songs for the parents/aunt/uncles and Chris and his assistant did a great job keeping the dance floor packed and all our guests having a great time. We gave Chris a generic timeline of event (we did not have a wedding coordinator or planner) and he was great with keeping us on track with our night between eating, toasts, dances, cutting the cake, etc!!

I literally can't say enough wonderful things about Chris and Jessica, owners of CrackerJack Sound Decisions AND wedding coordination. My fiance and I are not married yet but both Jessica and Chris have done so much for us already. As soon as we met them, we knew they were perfect for us to use...they get to know their clients so they can jump in with suggestions, advice, and really create a custom unique experience. Jessica is not overbearing like some wedding planners can be, but is there for me when I need her. She truly has a knack for this and has a great eye on styles, colors, decor, vendor suggestions and has basically helped me in every way possible. I have a long way to go with wedding planning but I know I am in capable hands that we trust very much for the biggest day of our lives. Chris has so much experience DJing and knows how to read the audience and truly devotes his time and resources to make the event the best it can be...after all, the dj can make or break the event. He was our company holiday party DJ and everyone was so impressed they will use CrackerJack Sound Decisions every chance they can. Do yourself a favor and stop looking at any other vendor for your wedding DJ and/or wedding coordinator, as they are the best in the business.

Chris and Jessica were an absolute dream to work with. We not only developed a great bond, but we fully trusted them from Day 1 with our music and knew it would go off without a hitch. Crackerjack sound decisions was fabulous for our wedding! They did not disappoint. DJ Chris Roland did a great job providing a variety of music as well as taking into consideration all our requests. They are extremely flexible and will do anything to try and make your day the best possible. I also used them for my day of wedding coordinator. Thank goodness for Jessica! I would of lost my mind without her! She made sure the day went perfectly and she helped me stay calm throughout the day and night. We were trying to keep a lower budget for our DJ, but after going to several weddings with sub par DJs and noticing the couples disappointment, we realized we needed to shell out a bit more money. This entire group has been great, and they even gave me a teacher discount! We are still planning, but I look forward to my big day and they have helped me feel confident in our entertainment decisions

We originally booked with a different company who bailed on us fairly close to our wedding date, but I'm so glad they did! We were SO lucky to be able to ultimately book with these folks! The business side of things was perfect- seamless, professional, affordable. Our DJ was Robert (DJ Wonderbread), and right off the bat, we knew he would just "get" us. I wanted a hard to find instrumental song version for my ceremony- no problem. He tracked it down and even gave me choices! We are, in general, fairly esoteric in our musical tastes, but it didn't phase him one bit. Our playlist was PERFECTION, and he handled all the announcements and the flow of the evening like the pro he is.

Chris was AMAZING and did such an excellent job of really listening and knowing what we liked that I told him he was doing too good a job because I couldn't tear myself from the dance floor. lol Plus, no one missed anything important - he really know how to rally the troops and get the guests attention when needed. Cracker Jack Sound Decisions were awesome to work with! They were so flexible and always willing to help us in any way! The online portal to add songs and the amount of suggested songs on the website were so helpful to us. Chris was an awesome DJ and our friends and family are still talking about how great of a job he did! He got our wedding guests dancing and really listened to the type of music we wanted, he made our wedding so much fun and we are so happy we chose him! I would recommend him to anyone! Chris and his wife Jessica were everything that we could have imagined when it came to a Dj & coordinator duo! They were both on the same page with everything and could definitely tell this was not their first rodeo.

Coordinator Review:
I myself was very unorganized when it came to a few things and Jessica found a way to make every little detail work. When I walked in to my reception, it was absolutely flawless! When things didn't work out or we couldn't find something (my fault) she had an idea and a plan to make it happen. She even took my gifts for me after the wedding and met up with me the next day to get them. I couldn't imagine how crazy and hectic my day would have been if I did not have Jessica.

DJ Review:
Chris, myself, and my fiancé met before the wedding and talked about what kind of music we liked. At the reception, he nailed it! He has an outstanding presence at the DJ booth and when it comes to getting a party started and the guest involved, I cannot think of a better person! His introductions were awesome and knew exactly how loud the music should be at certain moments. Chris really impressed me with his music selection. He knew exactly what type of music we liked and played music based off of the guests and our reactions.

Overall, the two were excellent! I cannot say enough nice things about this duo. I would definitely refer them to anyone I know having a wedding or any other type of event that need these services.

Chris and his wife completely put me at ease and I was one stressed out bride! They were professional, on time and made everything flow beautifully. Chris knew a song for everything even when we didn't and his wife was there to coordinate and move things along, she is a jack of all trades really. She also caught some sweet moments on video which truly meant a lot to us! Crackerjack Sound Decision was a dream come true for my wedding DJ! Chris and Jessica were on top of things all night making sure my day went smoothly and without a hitch! My guests had a blast, and he kept the dance floor packed. None of the normal things that can seem cheesy in a reception (i.e. Bouquet toss and garter removal) were awkward at all, mostly because of Chris' skills as an emcee. He also contacted me multiple times before the event, making sure everything was perfect and I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this company! Superb service and quality for any budget!!

Chris and his wife were amazing on or wedding day and very meeting leading up to the event. He was helpful in the overall timeline of the day as well as with song selection. We had not been home for a full week from our honeymoon before we had friends and family tell us how great the music was and how or DJ kept everyone involved. When I say that my wedding went FLAWLESSLY, I can only attribute it to Jessica Roland, the co-owner of Crackerjack Sound Decisions. She and Chris were unbelievably supportive and creative through out the entire planning process. They were professional, fun, and just absolutely wonderful. Two nights before the wedding Jessica called me to basically talk me off the ledge since I was panicking about last minute details. Every bride needs to know that everything will be taken care of and Jessica was that person for me. The day of she was the coordinator of events and kept everything running on time and had everything set up perfectly and beautifully. I could not have done it without her. There were no hiccups and no errors because she orchestrated everything so well. As far as I'm concerned there ARE NO OTHER DJ companies to choose from. This is the ONE. You will be so happy you did. Chris did a wonderful job at our wedding reception. He played all the songs I wanted him to play and even added in some that gave the whole weddig a great feel. He met with me numerous times to go over details and answered texts, emails and phone calls very quickly. The day of he helped coordinate the wedding events such as announcements, cake cutting, dances and speeches and was flexible in changing around orders of things. Jessica and Chris provided DJ services for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. We would use them again for any future events. We had a DVD where the music on the DVD could not be heard and within minutes (after giving them the names of the songs we used) they played those songs along with the DVD and no one really knew the problems with the sound. We had booked a different DJ more than a year out from our April 26 wedding but when they stopped all communication with us 2 months out from the wedding, we were pressed to find a new DJ. We were lucky to find Crackerjack Sound. They worked to find us an available DJ and were so helpful through what could have been a very stressful time. Chris was great to work with, I didn't have to worry about a thing. He had everything figured out in case I didn't cover some items, which I didn't. Also, last minute I wanted my daughter to play her acoustic guitar for when I walked down the aisle and Chris very easily and willingly made this happen. Everything was perfect!!!! Chris Roland was very flexible with his hours. I contacted him only a few days before and he had another event going on the same day. He quickly made arrangements with one of his DJ's to attend the other event, with it being smaller. Both parties were more than pleased. He showed up over 2 hours early to ensure no problems were present. Throughout the night he was vocal on the mic with announcements, keeping the party alive, and even making jokes when appropriate. The event could not have been executed any smoother. He brought all the equipment he promised and more! He was very enthusiastic for all four hours and has a good time with the people at the venue. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a good DJ and a good time.

Chris was amazing! He was able to read the crowd and help organize the flow of the evening. Chris also interacted well with guests and made the evening so much fun!! Chris is wonderful! When hes on the mic you know you're getting a real professional! Not only did he show up to DJ but he also helped coordinate our wedding events. We found out quickly that its hard to get everyone together to participate and pay attention to certain things like cake cutting, flower toss and special dances. His announcements were on point and his voice sounds like a radio personality. I would easily recommend him to anyone having any type of event!

Chris was so helpful through the whole wedding planning process. He gave us song ideas, talked through our reception with us, and was so easy going. I texted him the morning of my wedding that I wanted to change a song and he was totally fine with it and made the switch. I couldn't pick a father-daughter song so he combined two songs for us to dance to since I couldn't make up my mind. He was also a lot of fun to work with and kept guests (both young and old) dancing throughout the night.

We could not have been happier with our choice in Chtis from CrackerJack Sound Decisions! He was amazingly professional from the first point of contact and did everything possible to make our wedding special with all the personal touches we could have wanted and more! Chris did a wonderful job from first contact through to the last song. He responded quickly to my emails and phone calls. The day of our wedding, he went above and beyond and helped some volunteers I had asked to set up and start a slide show. The music was perfect and he kept the energy up despite the quiet nature of our guests. I would highly recommend Crackerjack Sound Decisions.

Chris Roland of Crackerjack scores high on quality of individual as well as quality of DJ. He was an absolute pleasure from our very first meeting with him. Chris was flexible, professional, friendly and prepared.

Chris managed to make the day even more joyous and memorable with his great playlists, hilarious comments and warm personality. Choosing him as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire process.

Chris did an amazing job at our wedding. He was very professional from the beginning meeting wanting to make sure he understood what we were looking for. Chris made a great playlist for our wedding and had all of the guests dancing and entertained. If you want a great DJ unlike others Chris is your man!

Just a pleasure to work with and to get to know! Chris was laid back and able to calm our nerves on things he was well experienced on and handled for us. He even accommodated a musician playing during our ceremony. I would recommend him to any future couple and will keep in touch with him as our marriage progresses. Crackerjack Sound Decisions was by far the best Deejay we could have had. He provided a fun atmosphere with appropriate music for all ages to enjoy along with hilarious comments which brought everyone out of their seats. A large majority of our guests were military and with Chris's knowledge of military slang he had our guest practically in tears they were laughing so hard. His wife was also amazing and took extra candid photos of my family and guests that we later appreciated very much. If you are looking for a professional and personable deejay... this is the deejay for you!!! We enjoyed getting to know them and had so much fun at our reception! It would not have been the same without you!!! Thank you so much!
