Cassie recently coordinated our wedding down in Indio at the Old Polo Estate and basically just rocked it for us. After our initial wedding coordinator ended up dropping out the day before we were having a walk-through of our venue last summer, the venue sent us Cassie's info and she immediately shifted her schedule the following day in order to be able to meet with us there. We knew after our initial phone call with her that she'd take care of us and knew what she was doing! Her packages are super reasonable and I really appreciated being able to text her questions and concerns anytime, or even just bounce ideas off her for my decor, etc. I am pretty sure I was her most OCD client of all time haha and she handled me like a champ! She's really good at being direct and getting things done while still being super enthusiastic and fun. And maybe most importantly, she pretty much single handedly set up (and later broke down) EVERYTHING the morning of the wedding, from chairs to table settings to my very specific table decor, and everything looked even more gorgeous than I imagined it in my mind. Thank you Cassie for everything! -

When you’re planning a wedding you ultimately want everything to line up and flow as smoothly as possible within having to feel overwhelmed or anxious about it.
This is the exact tempo Cassy at Classy Kay vibes to. I say this as a recurring DJ/MC Vendor Partner of hers. Cassy knows how to make her couples and vendor partners feel special and catered to with the utmost respect, honesty, and professionalism. She is very talented and it shows in the smallest details and gratitude she receives regularly from us all.
When I know I’m setup to work with her at an upcoming wedding I know things will be magical and every aspect, design and transition will be attended to meticulously.

Cassandra is a total dream to work with! We hired her for partial planning for our Temecula small wedding, and since we were planning the whole thing from Australia, having someone local who really knew her stuff was essential. Cassandra was warm, professional, and so much fun from the get-go. We clicked with her right away and felt completely at ease knowing she had our backs.
She made the planning process feel way less overwhelming—answering our questions, keeping us on track, and giving super helpful advice along the way. Even from halfway across the world, we always felt connected and in the loop. She was super responsive, thoughtful, and clearly cares a lot about her couples.
When the wedding day finally arrived, everything went off without a hitch. It was calm, smooth, and so well-organized. Cassandra took care of everything behind the scenes so we could just relax and soak it all in. We seriously can’t thank her enough—if you’re planning a wedding in Temecula, don’t think twice. Cassandra’s your girl! -

Cassie was our planner for our wedding last weekend and she did the most amazing job!!! She was extremely attentive and responsive during the planning phase - she was always available to answer any questions we had, or to reach out to our vendors for clarification or last minute changes. She made our ceremony rehearsal go very smoothly, and everyone knew exactly what they needed to do. On the day of the event, she showed up early to make sure all of our decorations were set up exactly how we wanted, and made sure all the vendors were on the same page. As the event got started, she made sure everything went off exactly as planned, and we had almost no stress about timelines or order of events, it was fantastic. I would highly recommend Classy Kay for any of your events!! -

We had the honor of having Cassie as our wedding coordinator and she is truly the best. We cannot put into words how much we appreciate her. Because of Cassie, our wedding was FLAWLESS! Prior to our wedding day, she was so helpful by attending meetings at our venue, giving super useful suggestions, and always being just a phone call or text away. Being that my husband and I were the first in our families to get married, we didn't really know what to expect with a wedding coordinator on the day of and thought their main job was to make sure we stayed on track with the timeline. That is the farthest thing from true when it comes to Cassie. She went above and BEYOND to make sure our day went as smooth and stress-free as possible. She is organized, attentive, detail-oriented, and just an all around good person who truly cares about her couples. We had not only family and friends but vendors, too, speak so highly of Cassie on our wedding day as they acknowledged how hard she works and how kind she is.

Dream coordinator!
Cassandra is a DREAM COORDINATOR. My husband and I first found a vrbo house for our wedding venue and were introduced to Cass through that venue. When the house didn’t work out (new city ordinance noise restrictions), Cass immediately helped us find a new venue and introduced us to an even BETTER location (The Vineyard House at JD Winery in Temecula). On top of introducing us to our dream location, she showed us a huge list of available vendors.
Cass helped us plan our wedding every step of the way – it was obvious that she has years of experience and knowledge in her field. Every question I had, she immediately had an answer. The BEST thing about this incredible coordinator is her positive energy and unwavering dedication to make the bride and grooms wedding day as seamless and happy as possible. SHE DOES IT ALL!!! She calmed our nerves the day of and took charge of every little thing. Cass doesn’t just make sure that every detail of your big day is taken care of, she does it with ease and grace. She made our vision and dream for our wedding come true and was sooo positive, calm, and friendly. She even took the most beautiful behind the scenes pictures for us. I am forever grateful that she was there for us – she is a dream come true!!!

We hired Cassy as our day of coordinator. She made our wedding day flow flawlessly. She’s a boss babe who knows what she is doing. She’s got you - you can rest easy knowing that she’s making sure all details, vendors, guests, etc. are in order. I didn’t worry about a thing and completely trusted her. And she’s so sweet! I loved her attention to detail, especially during the wedding. She always made sure we had food and drinks waiting for us. She somehow seamlessly moved our heavy ceremony backdrop behind our head table in the middle of the wedding. She’s the best. Don’t hesitate to hire her! -

Aahh...what can I say about Cassie? She definitely exceeded my expectations with her talent, her passion for event planning, and her good energy is really contagious. I hired Cassie for day of coordinating and throughout my planning process she would check in with me if I need anything. The day of the wedding I felt super relax, I have no worry about anything such as decor, timeline, etc. She was very impressive. She made sure everything was the way I envisioned. Our guest couldn't stop talking about how smooth everything went. My suggestion to all you bride to be, please hire a coordinator. Cassie is totally worth it! -

Ladies! If you are looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, affordable, and diligent coordinator, you’ve found your gal in Cassie!! She is an all-star!! We were honored to have her help out at our backyard wedding on 7/25/20, and she was absolutely amazing and thorough in her performance. She was zipping around the venue all day/night perfecting every detail and keeping the flow on point. Guests who noticed her presence were raving about her and asking how we found someone so great. She was down to support us during COVID times and was extremely flexible and willing to get creative to help us make our day work out. 1 week before our day we had a vendor drop out due to COVID. Cassie stepped in (while I was too busy freaking out) and called all around to get us new vendors within the same day. We got married in my in-laws backyard, and she even scheduled a time before the wedding with us, our photographer, and DJ to do a venue walk through (getting to know the location and work on our timeline). Cassie also took photos and videos all throughout our day and sent them while we were on our honeymoon, which was such a special surprise!! I could keep raving about her and her performance. Seriously..hireeee her!!! -

My now Hisband and I got married in September of 2020 and Classy Kay Events was our coordinator. She was absolutely AMAZING in every way!! She took the time to meet with us as much as we wanted and even helped us through the original postponement of our wedding due to COVID. Cassie really made our wedding the best day of our lives! After six months of trying to plan on our own and getting nowhere, we found Cassie. My husband didn't understand why we needed a wedding planner until we met and talked about how she approaches wedding planning, design, and coordination. Cassie knows what she's talking about - she's a total pro - AND she's the sweetest, most supportive person ever.
Cassie took all of our wedding dreams and helped us make them a reality. She helped us find all the best vendors (#dreamteam) that I knew we could trust. Cassie was able to figure out the vibe we wanted for our wedding and really design a fully decorated and beautiful event.
On the day-of-wedding, I had nothing to worry about. Cassie made a complete timeline and coordinated with all of the vendors... and my family... and our dogs! She hustles, cares so much, and will go the extra mile to make your day perfect. I can't recommend Cassie enough!! -

Remembering the day Mark and I met Cassie, along with her husband , Alex, we reflect on the energy and smiles we left with that night. We canceled all other interviews we had for coordinators because what we felt in just one meeting gave us faith that they were the right choice.
And I cannot tell you how much they were! They far surpassed all expectations and amazed us at every turn. You’ve found your planners!
We used Classykayevents for my combined baby shower and 30th birthday. Despite this being an unconventional event, Alex and Cass were able to pull together all kinds of ideas and blend both events perfectly - better than I could have ever hoped for!!! It was truly a “Birthday Shower” that nobody had ever attended before but had the best time!!! Anyone can organize these events separately but I truly believe it takes an open mind, creativity, and great taste to pull off what they did for me. It was spectacular and I’m still receiving phone calls and texts from my guests saying what an amazing party it was. Their vendors delivered on time, even accommodating last minute changes without making a fuss, and the photo booth made the party extra awesome. Don’t look any further, hire ClassyKayEvents and you won’t be disappointed! -

Cassandra and her team are just amazing!! We just can’t thank them enough for making our dream wedding come true. She really brought our vision to life, especially with our DIY decorations. She not only set them up but made it even more beautiful than what we would have imagined. Everything was just so pretty and perfectly executed!!
She also took care of us throughout the day and made sure we were hydrated and well fed. All our guests were so impressed how everything went smoothly and we just can’t imagine what we would have done without Cassandra. She’s a rockstar and the sweetest person alive. We knew she'd handle everything. She did an amazing job and we were so thankful to have her! She’s such a sweet person and she will lay down the law if she needed to (exactly what you need in a coordinator!) She was completely understandable and sweet when we explained our vision, and she executed! I’ve had multiple guests comment on how amazing and fluid the day was, and even an aunt who did event planning and coordinating for decades (and is very picky and hard to please) say she was completely impressed by how put together the day was. From the very first meeting we knew we were in good hands as she pays close attention to details, was asking us questions on items we hadn’t thought of, and you could tell she truly cared about our thoughts and vision for our wedding. She is also the sweetest, kindest, thoughtful, caring, professional coordinator we could have ever asked for. She was very quick to call/text/email us back when questions came up. The day of the wedding she did an absolutely amazing job with setting up all the details and coordination all the events and guest throughout the night. She made our wedding day so fun and stress free, Brad and I honestly didn’t worry for one second as everything was taken care of. We are so thankful and appreciative for all Cassandra did for us leading up to the wedding and on our actual wedding day. She helped serve cake and made sure our day ran so smoothly. Anything we needed she had a solution for. The stress melted away when she came in as our day of coordinator. My only regret is not hiring her as a wedding planner too, I would have loved her help earlier. Thank you so much cassie!

Working with Cassandra (aka Classy Kay Events) went so poorly that within a week of my wedding, she was having me sign a gag order in order to access a refund that I was owed, on account of her company’s terrible service. I chose to abandon the refund and not sign the document so that I could share my honest thoughts without compromise – and hopefully without having to deal with her again. Here’s how Classy Kay Events ‘coordinated’ my wedding:
• Instead of a day-of coordinator and an assistant, as had been discussed, only one person showed up. That person arrived late and did not actually begin setting up until over an hour later.
• Little was done as requested. Much of our wedding décor, flowers and food were never unpacked or used. One of our tables was allocated the wrong number of chairs and place settings. Our dessert table was not setup until halfway through the night.
• Our guests were roped into doing odd jobs all night – i.e. specifically what we had hired a coordinator to *avoid*. Our friends & family had already gone to huge lengths (and costs) in order to be there, and even helped out for whole days/weeks ahead of the wedding to get everything ready. All we wanted was for them to kick back. But, by the end of the night, the coordinator’s clean-up was so slow that guests had to step in to help out so that my new husband and I would not get fined by the venue. The next day, we found out that the coordinator had also been ordering them to assist her while my husband and I drove between the ceremony and reception. They setup all the appetizers, ice & soft drinks, various decorations, etc. – and basically didn’t get a chance to relax until we arrived.
In a nutshell: my experience of working with Classy Kay Events was distressing, disappointing and downright humiliating. As grateful as I am to my amazing friends and family for all their help (both before and, unfortunately, *during* the wedding), that’s how regretful I am about hiring Cassandra.
For anyone looking for a coordinator/planner, I’d recommend using Thumbtack (similar to Yelp but for vendors rather than stores). I found it only after I’d already paid a deposit to Classy Kay Events and now wish I’d eaten my deposit and hired a wedding coordinator through there instead. Costs are transparent, there is an accountability/review mechanism, and everyone I’ve hired from there has been reliable, skilled and highly professional. Alternatively, if for whatever reason you’ve already paid a deposit to Cassandra / Classy Kay Events that you can’t get out of: get everything you discuss with her written into the contract. No matter how many times you need her to revise the document, no matter how much she pushes back, don’t settle on the standard text. Get. It. Into the contract! I didn’t have the forethought to ask her to revise the contract to explicitly state that there should be 2 people setting up my wedding, as we had discussed over email, phone and in-person. Nor that they needed to start at 10am, as we had agreed. Nor that she should be there in-person herself, as originally planned. (Oh yeah, did I mention that she pawned us off onto a member of her team once another couple came along with our same wedding date but a higher-rate package?)
Lastly, in case helpful, I paid her $1,230 for day-of coordination (which apparently was $500 less than her usual rate - and boy did she make me feel it). You get what you pay for ... except in my case I got far, far less. The $200 refund she put on the table didn’t even come close to making up for the wedding memories ruined, stress caused before and during the wedding day, and hours wasted since then trying to reason with her for fairer compensation - let alone wedding decorations that never got used. Hopefully she is never again entrusted with the opportunity to botch a wedding like she did ours.
Thankfully, the rest of our vendors were INCREDIBLE! I cannot wait to review them instead, and sing their much-deserved praises. Your wedding is special and you deserve to be happy! -
