  Best Wedding Investment - Chickadee Events!

  Hiring Kelsey was probably the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Despite the fact that we started working together over a year out from our big day she always made us feel like we were a priority. I loved that we were able to plan the wedding of our dreams while having outside help to make sure that everything fell into place on our big day.
  Kelsey’s organizational skills are top notch and as a fellow planner I loved that she thought of every single detail possible. Throughout the entire process she served as our guiding light and I am so grateful for that. The transition from me to her was seamless and I appreciated how well she communicated with all of our vendors.
  From the rehearsal to the wedding I knew that we had not only the best planner, but a friend who wanted to make sure that everything went perfectly. Kelsey’s small touches made a big impact! I loved the getting ready kit in the bridal sweet and it was nice to know that she cared about my bridal party as much as I did.
  If anything went wrong, I certainly didn’t know. We had the best wedding we could have ever imagined and that in part is because of Kelsey! All of our guests commented on how smoothly things went and how beautifully the space was put together.

  Absolutely perfect in every way

  If you do not use Chickadee Events, you are missing out on one of the best opportunities life can give you. We were honored to have Kelsey as our planner. She was organized, on top of everything, responsive, professional, kind, down to earth, absolutely a pleasure and joy to work with. I looked forward to every phone call and meeting I had with her. She’s the type of person you can trust. When it comes to weddings, that’s what you need. Someone you can trust to help you with such an important day. This woman is a force, and every vendor I worked with said she was one of their top choices. She does not disappoint.

  The absolute best!

  Kelsey was absolutely amazing. My wedding day was an absolute dream and I couldn’t have done it without her. I was able to just relax and enjoy my day without worrying about a thing. I would absolutely reccomend her to all brides. She’s so easy to talk to, and I really did feel like she cared about my wedding as much as I did. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, do it! And chose Kelsey!

  Outstanding organization and wedding planning

  I can't say enough good things about Kelsey! I loved working with her as my month-of wedding coordinator. Her attention to detail and organization were amazing. She provided me with great resources for vendors, and she was an excellent sounding board for wedding advice. I knew that she would make sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day. I felt that she went above and beyond throughout our wedding planning process, and I am so thankful that I had her coordinating my wedding. All of my wedding party also thought she did an excellent job! It was an absolute pleasure working with Kelsey, and I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for a wedding planner!

  Kelsey and her team were the absolute best part of our wedding. We hired Kelsey for her month-of coordinator package and honestly she is the best money I have ever spent.   Kelsey and her team were the best thing to happen to our wedding! We hired Kelsey to be our Month-of Coordinator. We could not recommend her more, she made the process so easy and stress free. Every little detail was planned perfectly. She was so friendly and caring, it made it so easy to work with her. On the week leading up to the big day, she made sure everything was taken care of and organized.   I am not exaggerating at all when I give this girl straight 5 star reviews. Kelsey is phenomenal. I seriously cannot overstate how happy I am that we found her! She has been 110% organized, prepared, professional, and ON IT for the entire process, and she does it all with grace and a friendly smile. I truly feel as though we got her full individual attention, and when we hit bumps in the road (as all planning processes do) she was comforting and encouraging and just amazing in every way. She took care of every detail, large or small, and made sure that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. Our day was perfect and beautiful and we couldn’t have done it without her. We were on the fence about hiring a month-of coordinator but I am so glad we did and would do it again in a heartbeat. Kelsey is absolutely worth her weight in gold (and then some!), and to top it all off she is so incredibly genuine and sweet that we can’t help but love her and Kevin. Thank you, Kelsey!

  Kelsey was fantastic in EVERY WAY!! I would have been lost without her with me every step of the way. Without her help, I have no doubt that my wedding would not have been even CLOSE to as perfect as it was. I would recommend her to any one! Worth every single penny!!   Kelsey is absolutely wonderful! I was very much a D-I-Y bride, and was hesitant at first to hire a month of/day of coordinator for our wedding. But looking back, it was one of the best decisions I made during the entire wedding planning process. Kelsey is everything you could possibly want from a coordinator- smart, organized, efficient, trustworthy, thoughtful, attentive, professional, but personable, willing to adapt to your vision and preferences, and most of all, genuinely supportive of you and your future spouse. Not to mention, she thinks of EVERYTHING! She and her assistants even set up all of our decorations for us the day-of, exactly how we wanted them which gave us even more time during the wedding weekend to spend with our friends and family. When it came time for the wedding, having Kelsey there made it possible for me to actually relax and truly be present. I was able to experience the joy and significance of the day without worrying about any of the small details or things running smoothly. I can't recommend Kelsey and Chickadee Events more highly!

  A wedding planner was not on the top of our list but after working with Kelsey I am so glad we decided to book her. I booked her for month of wedding planning.   Kelsey with Chickadee was awesome!! She was perfectly organized 100% of the time and my wedding was everything I wished for, much because of her! She was the perfect mix of flexible and assertive in order to keep everything running smoothly. Would not have had it any other way! Kelsey was always capable of pulling off everything I wanted and advised me of the best options for my special day. Definitely an amazing advocate for my finance's and my wishes!

  Kelsey and her crew were AMAZING! I wish I could give 100 stars. I'd recommend her to everyone. She was professional, easy to get along with, polite, and most importantly organized. She communicated wonderfully, I never had to wait long for a reply to my emails. I also liked that she wasn't one of those overly bubbly types, a professional happy I'd call it. When I worked with her I felt like I was working with someone who really wanted to my our day happy and run smoothly. Kelsey worked around my husband's and my crazy work schedules, so we could get together for meetings and everything else was phone and email. Our wedding day was perfect, I couldn't even tell we were on a schedule. I am so happy that we chose Chickadee Events, Kelsey, to coordinate our wedding. Thank You.

  From the first meeting with Kelsey, I knew she would be Awesome!!! Her professionalism, organization and dedication made our day absolutely perfect! If something went wrong, I never knew about. She gave me excellent advice throughout the planning, took care of all of the setup, talking with the vendors, and I didn't have to stress about anything that day because I knew she would get it done! I had so many comments from family and friends about how great she was! My mom and my Fiance at the time were very hesitant in me hiring a wedding planner but after the wedding was all done they could not stop raving about Kelsey!! If I could give her more then 5 stars, I would!! I would highly recommend Kelsey!!!

  I can't brag enough about how amazing Kelsey is. I started my planning journey with her a little over a year ago! I recieved so much advice and support over the last year. I am out of state, so she would always work with me on our consultations and meeting up when I was in town. I couldn't wait for my big day to get here! I was so worried it was going to rain. After setting up 200 chairs during the rehearsal outside, it sure did rain. Kelsey and her husband (they are a great team by the way!) moved every single one of those chairs under the pavilion, so I could have my wedding outside! My night went so smoothly with those two! Everyone kept telling me I don't need a wedding planner, well think again, you definitely need Kelsey! I am sad it's all over, I will miss my emails and check ins from her. I highly recommend!

  Stop looking - go no further! Kelsey McLain is the one!
  I interviewed 4 event planners for our daughters wedding. She had me at the first handshake. You can bet that she will be there for you, every moment. She is prompt, efficient, professional, and never left me wondering. She was always available, reachable, and quick to respond. When "sticky" situations arose, she handled them, taking stress and weight off my shoulders. This girl has a true talent, and has found her calling.

  Stop looking - go no further! Kelsey McLain is the one!

  If you want a planner who is attentive and committed to making the day as special as can be for both bride and groom then you should book Chickadee Events. I know my wedding day would not have been as special as it was without the help of our wedding planner Kelsey. She was extremely organized, on top of everything, and took care of all of the details so that my husband and I had nothing to worry about except enjoying the special time with our family and friends. I would highly recommend Kelsey and her team!

  Is there a single word for organized, dedicated, kind, willing, and a God send? If there was that's what Kelsey is.
  
  I got married on August 7th and I had Kelsey by my side pretty much the whole day and even planning period. My fiance (now husband) chose the 'month of' wedding coordination, because I do like to organize a few things and I wanted to be as involved as possible. Even though I chose 'month of' WOW Kelsey was there the whole time. She checked in all the time seeing how planning was going, making sure I was staying on track, and she was always there if I had a weird question like "who is going to light all of these candles before the reception?".
  
  The month before the wedding, I was burnt out on planning. I was tired of picking out flowers, where things were going to go, who was doing what the day of and so on. That's when Kelsey (my wedding Angel) picked up everything and I will be forever thankful for that. She did all of the tedious planning like what vendor will be at the venue when, where we will be getting dressed and even who will light the candles before the ceremony. Her planning all of these things made the month before the wedding a time for me and my fiance to grow together, move into our new house and even dare I say relax.
  
  Now coming up to the day, Kelsey literally was in 5 places at one. She was holding onto all of my something blue, new and borrowed, making sure the groomsmen were being civil humans, and even making sure my mom (who loves to make sure everything is perfect) was with me while I was getting ready. Kelsey and her assistants took care of EVERYTHING. If there wasn't the correct amount of tables at a seat, you would barely get the sentence out and there would be a seat. She even guarded the sweetheart table so my groom and I could actually eat our delicious meal.
  
  My wedding day was perfect, I couldn't think of anything that would have made it better. And I have to thank Kelsey for that.

  I cannot sing the praises of Chickadee Events enough! Kelsey and her crew were absolutely amazing every bit of the way! I am an administrative assistant at a very large bank and have been for 16 years, so I am well versed in event planning and have a hard time relinquishing control to someone else. I hesitated to even hire a coordinator, but in the end decided that I couldn’t enjoy my day without one, so I went with the “day of” option. Kelsey and team were much more than just day of, Kelsey was more like “months before”. We met several times, for several hours each time, Kelsey was always was on point, very responsive, professional, yet gave a warm, friend like feel which is especially nice when planning something so personal and intimate. I had a somewhat elaborate vision for my wedding and she never once flinched when I would discuss all my needs/requests, she always responded with a smile. On my wedding day, I was more than relaxed as I felt very comfortable that she had everything under control and she truly did. Nothing went wrong – or if it did, I didn’t know about it. She kept us on our time line, made sure everything was perfect and even “protected” us while we ate, so we actually had a chance to enjoy our meal – something I hear most couples complain about. Kelsey and her assistants were there every step of the way, from set up to breakdown. If I needed my phone, it was to me within seconds. My husband needed his glasses, bam, they were in his hand. I am beyond thankful for all of their hard work and I would recommend Chickadee to anyone at any time. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts - With love from the Blanco’s!

  We hired Kelsey to coordinate our wedding as she was our freshman year RA so we trusted her organizational skills, but she went above and beyond our expectations.
  
  We chose her "month of" wedding coordination package for $850 and it was the best decision we made. Although the package is called "month of," Kelsey's services started nearly a year before our wedding. We had a consultation with her and told her our vision and what we had planned. She assisted us with vendor selections and all of her suggestions were perfect.
  
  A month out she handled everything. She contacted and confirmed all the vendors and she handled all the little crises that come up during a wedding. The day before the wedding our officiant ended up in the hospital. Kelsey secured his substitute for the wedding day and ran the rehearsal perfectly without him despite the fact that she had never coordinated a Catholic wedding and had been planning on relying on the deacon. No one would have guessed that this was her first Catholic wedding.
  
  On our wedding day, she had 3 assistants and everything ran smoothly. She had a binder with all our information in it and a detailed timeline, all of which she shared with us. Our guests commented on how relaxed we seemed and it was all thanks to her.
  
  She received compliments from other vendors such as he DJ, and my father in law was impressed with how efficient she made the photography process. She coordinated family portraits with 40+ people including many small children and made everything run smoothly.
  
  In summary Kelsey is efficient, organized, and reliable, not to mention a wonderful person! We highly recommend her services to anyone!
