    A Truly Elevated Planning Experience!


    Sarah and Madda were indispensable to the success of our wedding! Since it was our first time getting married we really didn’t know what to expect going into the planning process, but CBE was instrumental in helping us find vendors that matched our vision and sense of aesthetics. From florals to our DJ to catering to desserts, all the vendors and connections they offered meshed with us perfectly.

    Madda was a calming and steady presence throughout the entire process and definitely kept me and my now wife sane when we definitely would have lost it otherwise. Unfortunately we had to re-schedule our entire wedding due to a sudden death in the family, and the CBE team demonstrated profound empathy and flexibility and helped us move our vendor details around 5 weeks out to make sure we didn’t lose anyone we were already working with.

    Unequivocally, Cherry Blossom Events made our wedding the perfect day we wanted it to be, and we will be singing their praises for years to come, you will absolutely not regret booking them!

    We loved our experience with CBE!

    I highly, highly recommend using Cherry Blossom Events (CBE) for any event planning needs. We purchased the "Day of Coordination Package" from CBE for our wedding day, and we could not have been more thrilled with the service we received. We were assigned Meghan Daly as our planner, and from our first conversation, both my husband and I agreed that we were in great hands. Meghan is communicative, organized, and extremely knowledgeable.

    We had two in-person meetings with Meghan before our wedding. She was kind enough to attend our meeting with our venue (The Edgewater) about three months before our wedding to discuss our wedding timeline and vendors. We then met with Meghan about two weeks before our wedding to finalize the day-of details. Throughout those months, Meghan was hard at work preparing a wedding guide that included all the day-of details you could think of (timeline, table compositions, rental items, vendor arrivals, etc.). She was great about keeping me on a timeline for tackling any open details.

    On the day-of, Meghan did a wonderful job of ensuring that each vendor was where they needed to be and that we remained on schedule. As the initial point of contact for any issues that arose, Meghan brought my husband and me so much peace of mind on our wedding day.

    Additionally, Meghan, her assistant, and daffodil*parker (our florist) worked together to set up our reception space at The Edgewater, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. We also contracted CBE for tear down services, which we were so thankful for after a long day celebrating.

    Lastly, I want to include that my husband and I needed to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic. Each time we postponed, CBE was extremely accomodating and understanding, which was so appreciated. Overall, we loved working with CBE and Meghan!

    So helpful!

    We used CBE for a design consultation and day of coordination. Sarah, Andrea and Sofi were wonderful to work with. Sarah and Andrea has great design ideas to help me convey my ideas to our vendors. Sofi and her team were fantastic leading up to the wedding and in the day of. To my knowledge, our wedding went like clockwork. I highly recommend working with this team!

    Literally can't say enough amazing things about Andrea!! She is truly the absolute best! Our wedding would never have happened without her. I decided I wanted to get married on our family farm, a daunting task that she truly brought to life. She thought of every little detail (needed a generator, bathroom trailer, lights, mosquito treatment, valet, etc) and was extremely organized and thorough. She laid out a very easy to follow timeline, checked in each month with the tasks to focus on every month, gave suggestions of professional experienced vendors, but was also willing to go way outside anything she had done before and find new options. For example we wanted really adventurous food with a mix of thai/peruvian/mediterranean/vietnamese/indian and somehow she found the perfect caterer who could make it happen. Andrea is simply the best and you will be lucky to have her, I thank my lucky stars she was available on the date we wanted. She is worth way more than she charges. I cannot recommend her more highly.

    Choosing to work with Cherry Blossom Events was hands down the best overall decision we made as part of our planning process! We worked with Maija and this review simply will not do justice for how incredible she was from start to finish throughout the whole process. She listened to all of the wishes we had for our special day and went above and beyond to make it better than we ever could have imagined. Her expertise and coordination efforts made everything so stress-free for us in the planning process; the finished product on our wedding day thanks to her efforts was stunning. If you're looking for a wedding planner, we would absolutely recommend Cherry Blossom Events!

    We could NOT have had the most amazing, special, and FUN day without Maija by our side. From the very start, Maija made me feel really comfortable sharing our goals and vision. Especially in those areas where I hadn't given it a lot of thought or I didn't have a vision (and I have NO style sense), Majia so elegantly suggested lovely touches and ideas that fit so well with us as a couple. She exudes professionalism and kindness - and within a few weeks of hiring her, she saved me a LOT of money with some of the other vendors. We really could not have had such a fantastic and low-stress wedding weekend without Cherry Blossom and Maija. Thank you thank you!

    We were trying to keep our wedding budget low, and probably wouldn't have hired a day-of coordinator, except the venue we chose required that we have one. And I'm SO thankful they did! Meghan was our coordinator, and she was incredibly helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She was super nice and very professional. She sat down with us twice before the wedding - once to do a broad overview, and once three weeks before the wedding at the venue to go over every detail. We also emailed back and forth quite a bit. We thought we were pretty organized on our own, but Meghan was so on top of everything - from communication with our vendors to setting up the space. She was responsive and asked all the right questions. She gave her opinion on things but was also really flexible and found ways to make our vision work. You could tell she just wanted us to have exactly the wedding we imagined. And we did! On the day of the wedding, she helped coordinate the set up and made sure everything happened on time. At the end of the night, she and her assistant took everything down and when we came to pick it up the day after the wedding, it was all in boxes and easy for us to load up. I would recommend Meghan and Cherry Blossom to my friends and anyone else who wants to make sure their wedding planning and their wedding weekend run smoothly!

    The decision to hire Sarah from Cherry Blossom Events was the best decision we made for our wedding planning process! From the very beginning, Sarah helped to refer me to vendors that were all amazing to work with. She kept my husband and I very organized throughout the process and was always a great resource when we had questions throughout the entire 10 months of planning. Most importantly, Sarah become a friend to us and we'll miss getting to chat with her and see her on a regular basis!

    The biggest challenge she helped us with was when our hotel called 48 hours before our guests were checking in to say that they would not be able to host any guests during our wedding weekend. She helped coordinate the shift to a new hotel, in a new city, which was no small feat. All 75 hotel rooms of guests were able to check in easily to the new hotel and arrive on time to events thanks to the new transportation Sarah set up and had the hotel pay for as a result of the change.

    If you're looking for a fun wedding planning process and unique ideas to 'wow' your guests, you should chose CBE. Our guests are still raving about our wedding that was 2 weeks ago and cannot get over all of the thoughtful details.

    Meghan was the coordinator for my daughter's wedding. She did an amazing job! She met with us before the wedding to make plans and then again at the venue to discuss all the details. Meghan was very organized and detail-oriented. She always responded quickly to our emails. On the day of the wedding, she and her staff set up the venue, worked with other vendors, helped decorate, coordinated the ceremony, and managed the flow of all the activities. At the end of the night, she and her staff packed up all the decorations and put everything back where it belonged. We truly could not have done it without her! Not only that, but she is kind, calm, and wonderful to work with!

    I can't rave enough about Cherry Blossom Events and Sarah, one of the amazing co-owners. While preparing for my wedding in the early stages, I came across a review for CBE by a former bride who said picking CBE was the best choice she made other than picking her groom and I couldn't agree more! CBE is top notch and made my wedding flawless from start to finish. Sarah is so well organized, and on top of everything going on. She has done this a ton and knows every little detail that comes up. She handled all of the vendors and design, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the outcome. She created the most perfect wedding for us that was stress free and so much fun. We live out of state and Sarah kept us in the loop every step of the way and worked around our schedules when we were in town. Not only did she create the perfect day for us but Sarah is so much fun to be around. While attending all of the vendor meetings with my family, she was like part of the crew. She provided a sense of calm as I was moments away from walking down the aisle and I’m honored she put in my veil! If you’re looking to have an amazing wedding in the Madison area, Sarah and CBE are your girls.

    The best thing I did for planning my wedding was to hire a planner, and that is my first and best piece of advice to any newly engaged couple- even if it is a day of coordinator- they are worth every penny. That is especially true for Andrea and her team at Cherry Blossom Events. We were lucky enough to work with her during our entire wedding planning process and she is simply perfect. She is organized, sweet, has a solution for everything, can handle any question (at any time), and is genuinely happy to greet you with a huge hug every time you see her. We were planning a wedding from across the country, and Andrea made sure it was as easy as possible. She organized vendors and meetings for when we were in town, and if we couldn’t make them she was our stand in person. It really says somethings about a planner when every single other vendor in our wedding had nothing but praise for them- and that is absolutely what happened for us. Every other vendor we talked to told us that there would be no problems because Andrea would take care of them and it was totally true. Andrea and her staff not only set up our entire wedding day but then also stayed to take it down and had smiles on their faces all day long. It really was just like having another family member there for our big day. I would not have changed one thing about hiring Andrea and we cannot express our gratitude and pleasure with how everything turned out. Andrea and her team at Cherry Blossom events are a must have for any bride.

    If you want the PERFECT wedding, you HAVE to hire Cherry blossom Events. Let me start by saying I am a very demanding person, super type A personality. But our wedding day was PERFECT!! Everything went as planned and all thanks to Sarah! Sarah is hands down the best weeding planner in the Madison area. Sarah is the most detailed and organized person we have worked with. She always knew what was going on and didn't miss a single detail. She kept us on track from day one. Once you communicate your vision to her, SHE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN! We both have extremely busy work schedules, so we were emailing questions to her constantly. She responded timely and always with great advice. None of my bridesmaids are in town, so Sarah came to my fitting and helped with everything! Even when we made changes at the last minute (the day before the wedding), it wasn't a problem for her, she made it happened! Cherry Blossom also has amazing connections with all the best vendors on town and was able to get discounts on many things. To top it all off, Sarah is just a wonderful person that we can truly call a friend after working with her for the past year.

    Words cannot describe our gratitude toward Cherry Blossom Events - especially Andrea V. for putting on the wedding of our dreams!!! Andrea and her team setup everything the few days before the wedding and took everything down. Andrea made sure everything went smoothly - and when little hiccups came about -- she took care of them no questions asked. We ran into a particular disaster right before the rehearsal ceremony - while we enjoyed our rehearsal dinner SHE LEFT AND TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING .

    She was originally recommended to us by a family friend who said "she is worth her weight in gold". We were lucky enough to find that out for ourselves. Honestly - we wouldn't have been able to create even close to what Andrea helped us create - such a magical celebration. If you want the wedding of your dreams - Andrea will help you create yours !!!

    We knew we wanted a wedding planner as we do not live in Wisconsin .... well, from the minute we met Sarah of Cherry Blossom Events - we KNEW we had made the best decision ever! Sarah is a great listener, takes lots of notes and then embarks on creating your vision - not matter how unusual it seems at the time...! Every single vendor that she introduced us to, told us how much they love working with CBE! CBE have surrounded themselves with amazingly talented people who work well together in creating a beautiful wedding experience. Sarah took care of every detail, every problem that came up, she had a solution for and in the end it was better than Mary could have dreamed of !! It was a STUNNING wedding ! Sarah guided us throughout the whole process with emails and monthly "to do lists", quick responses to all our questions and never did any part feel overwhelming! I'm going to miss it!

    Andrea from Cherry Blossom Events made sure every tiny detail of our wedding went off without a hitch, making it by far the best day of our lives and as minimally stress-induced as possible. I can't say enough positive things about her. She provided much-needed advice on navigating tricky scenarios with family and with vendors. She helped us find vendors in town because we were wedding planning from afar. She patiently communicated with me when I would send countless emails and organized phone calls for us to check in throughout. She attended vendor meetings like with the florist and with event rentals to make sure our event was styled in a beautiful way and suggested helpful ideas to resolve certain issues that came up throughout wedding planning. Her connections with vendors in the Madison area proved invaluable, and her experience with dozens of weddings made her an exceptional wonder to work with. Moreover, she is kind, funny, creative, and all around an amazing wedding planner. We loved working with her and owe our wedding to her and the rest of the team at Cherry Blossom Events!

    Cherry Blossom Events are simply amazing! From start to end, the level of expertise did not go unnoticed. We did our due diligence and research on wedding coordinators and I knew from the start I needed Cherry Blossoms on my side and they did not disappoint. Andrea was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful! We were blessed to have Maija as our coordinator and to say she was perfection would be an understatement.     If you need someone to help you put together all of the little details, give input on choices for the wedding when you need it, make sure your wedding day runs smoothly, and make your reception look gorgeous, then book CBE. I only had CBE for the weekend plan (which meant I did all of the planning myself) but my coordinator was constantly there for me when I had questions on numbers and arrangements. My coordinator took detailed notes of what I wanted so that when the weekend came, she was able to do the majority of the set up work and make our reception look like something out of a magazine. The wedding ran so smoothly and it was comforting to know that if something did go wrong (and maybe it did, I don't even know!), somebody would be able to handle it without getting me involved and stressed out. CBE is very professional and thorough. Without CBE, I do not know what I would have done!

    We worked with Meghan and she was absolutely amazing!! We hired her for day of coordination and weeks before the wedding she was in contact with us continuously and our vendors as well. If we had questions, she responded in a quick timely manner. When our big day came her and her girls worked so hard and had our venue looking absolutely breath taking! I would highly recommended Cherry Blossom to every bride looking for help!

    We began working with Cherry Blossom Events a year before our wedding. Their knowledge of the industry was impressive, which put us at ease knowing we chose the right people to help plan and execute our big day.

    We wanted our fall wedding to be a fun, sophisticated and elegant affair. Because of their professionalism and experience, we could trust that every detail would be taken care of and they didn’t disappoint. They suggested excellent ideas that we might not have otherwise considered without their industry relationships, and knowledge.

    Cherry Blossom Events were so organized throughout the planning process. When it came to the day of the wedding, Emily and her team worked tirelessly, making sure everything went off without a hitch. They dealt with last minute issues, made sure all the vendors were on time, and set everything up to perfection. It seemed like there were hundreds of different moving parts to the wedding and reception, and we couldn’t have imagined coordinating all of those things ourselves; their attention to detail was amazing.

    We couldn’t speak more highly of Cherry Blossom Events and encourage everyone to use them. We are still amazed at how Cherry Blossom not only met our exceedingly high expectations, but they surpassed them as well.

    Groom here. I might be wrong but I'd assume most reviews are coming from the bride. Maybe my perspective is a bit different and might help. We were planning our wedding in Madison from across the country and initially things were easy. Found out venue and got a good date booked. I figured this would be a breeze. Looking to save wherever we could, I pushed back at the idea of hiring a wedding planner. My wife had received a recommendation for Sarah at CBE and knew she wanted to work with her. I am very glad that this was an argument I didn't win. Sarah was awesome every step of the way. The communication was very prompt and clear and she handled everything with the various vendors. Having her as our eyes and ears in Madison was invaluable. There were so many ideas she gave us or decisions she guided us through and each worked out well. Where Sarah and her team really shined was on the day of the wedding. We would have been pulled in a hundred different directions that day if CBE wasn't there. Everything went very smoothly (at least to us, Sarah took the brunt of everything) and we were able to enjoy the day with our family and friends. I highly recommend Sarah and Cherry Blossom Events.

    ;Andrea from Cherry Blossom Events took the brides's ideas and created a dream wedding. She helped choose vendors and made the planning seamless. She even helped send out the save the dates and invitations. She had the answer to every question. The bride was from CA and the wedding in WI. She arranged all the meetings with vendors on the same day so the bride and groom made few trips back. She kept everyone in the loop!

    I'm not overstating when I say that we really wouldn't have been able to pull off our wedding without Andrea. We had a quick timeline and not a very clear vision and she pulled it all together. The costs of a planner may seem daunting but it was a great investment that gave us more time as a family and couple to enjoy the process. Her attention to detail and partnership in the process was superb. Our wedding was amazing and matched our personalities to a tee.

    We live in Chicago and worked with Sarah for our Madison wedding in August 2015. We invested in a custom package that helped us with planning, finding vendors and day of coordination. We cannot not say enough good things about the services Cherry Blossom Events provides and how much it was worth every penny. Sarah sent us a checklist every month, met with us when we were in town, made herself available by phone, and handled all the minor details for us - especially the ones that seemed overwhelming. She was also great with embracing and helping me flesh out a way to achieve a vintage sports themes wedding, which even my mom had a hard time wrapping her mind around. But not Sarah, she helped me knock it out of the park so to speak. Also, when my grandfather passed the week before the wedding, not only was Sarah a great shoulder to cry on, but she handled everything so I could focus on funeral arrangements. It really felt like all I had to do was to show up on my wedding day and enjoy, which I did. Many brides will tell you to hire a wedding planner and I could not agree more, but I would add an additional clause and say hire Cherry Blossom Events. Thank you so much Sarah :-)

    I had an amazing experience working with Cherry Blossom Events for my wedding. I purchased the day of coordination package, and I don't know how people do it without a wedding planner, at least for the logistics of the actual wedding day. Our wedding planner did all of the day of setup, created a timeline for the vendors and wedding party to follow, and troubleshooted multiple mishaps. My mom broke her ankle the weekend before my wedding, and Meghan checked in with her constantly throughout the day and made sure that she was comfortable and that she was still being included in everything. I provided them with my decorations and a rough layout of where I wanted them, but CBE put the decor together so seamlessly and effortlessly and when I walked into my reception space it took my breath away. They responded promptly to my emails, they were accommodating, and their experience and opinions truly brought everything together to match my vision perfectly. Excellent company with excellent employees.

    Other than choosing my groom, hiring Sarah with Cherry Blossom events is the best decision I made for our wedding. I'm not being dramatic or overly sentimental... She was seriously everything I dreamed of as a wedding planner. My fiancé and I are very busy physicians and we had minimal time to put into meeting with her or surveying options. Sarah bent over backwards to find times to meet us that fit our schedule and when meeting wasn't needed, she was always responsive by email. She was the perfect advisor, decision maker, organizer, and designer. But most importantly, she is a lovely person. She is warm, funny, honest and truly excited about her job.
    One quick story that truly exemplifies their work ethic and dedication of Cherry Blossom. Three weeks prior to my wedding, my mother was involved in a horrible car accident and suffered a severe spinal cord injury. Sarah tactfully took care of making final decisions and answering required emails /questions from vendors. She took as much off my plate as she could - to allow me to spend time in the ICU with my mom. The day of the wedding she made sure everything was wheelchair accessible and that my mom would be able to experience everything. She helped coordinate getting my mom from the hospital to the salon, to the wedding, and to the reception and made sure she was able to eat prior to needing to return to the hospital. Only just a week or two prior we weren't even sure if my mom would be able to sit in a wheelchair much less go to all parts of he wedding. Sarah's support of my family during a time of tradgedy was amazing and her ability to rework final details to involve my mother in the wedding was truly above and beyond any of my expectations. And she did it naturally - without me ever asking.
    If I could rate them 500 stars, I would. They have my highest recommendation.

    I don’t know where to start to share how blown away I was with Cherry Blossom Events. I worked with Andrea on a partial planning package. Andrea and her team executed my dream wedding! Our venue was a barn, which was basically a shell that we had to fill up with whatever we wanted – from renting and/or bringing in every table, chair, and every single decoration that we had. Andrea was so detailed and knew exactly where to go to pull together my vision. Andrea was extremely responsive and patient with all my questions! I had so much fun meeting with her and sharing my ideas. She took every one of my ideas and perfectly captured it. She had such good input and style. My mom kept emphasizing as we discussed the wedding that Andrea was the best decision we made when beginning the planning process and after reflected on the day. Andrea and her team worked so hard and designed a perfect look – and on top of that it was SO stress free for me, the groom, our family, and all our friends! One of my bridesmaids commented that there was not an ounce of stress and there were zero tense moments during the day. That was all due to Cherry Blossom Events. I honestly don’t think I would change a thing from our day – it was absolutely perfect and I don’t think I wiped the smile on my face all day. I’d highly recommend Cherry Bloom Events to everyone!

    I could not have dreamed up a better fit for a wedding planner! Andrea was more that I had ever imaged a planner could be! She was my voice when I was feeling too overwhelmed to find my own, and her organizational skills trumped ANY I have ever seen, she was so on top of everything and so well put together! But most importantly, she genuinely cared about making everything that Chris and I envisioned for our wedding come to life! She took over at all the right times, and stood back and listened at all the right times! She is professional, honest and loyal, and SOOO well prepared (she had a needle and thread, and a steady hand ready to go within seconds to sew the strap back on my wedding dress (with me in it!!!) after it ripped off 5 mins before my ceremony, AHHHH!!!). I was so confident that she was always looking out for us and had our best interest at heart, she knew when something would be PERFECT just for us, or when something just didn't feel quite right and wasn't afraid to say it! She helped out my mother with difficult decisions and even kept in contact with my wedding party throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond her job responsibility to make sure everything went smoothly for my family and I even after the wedding! She was more like a friend to us than a hired wedding planner! It is obvious that this is what she was meant to do! There are no words to explain how thankful I am that our paths crossed. Cherry Blossom Events and Andrea totally understood my vision from day one and made it happen! I can honestly say, 4 weeks after my wedding, that there is not one thing about my wedding ceremony or my reception that I would change! I loved every minute of it and I owe it all to Andrea at CBE for helping to make my day EVERYTHING I dreamed it would be!!

    I will never be able to say enough good things about Cherry Blossom. From day one, Andrea made us feel so comfortable and important. She took our random ideas and visions for our wedding and put them together into one incredibly beautiful celebration. She was always fast to answer emails, patient with questions on the phone, and the biggest help on the day of, making sure every detail was in place. She (and her business partner, Sarah) is an incredibly calming presence and amazingly organized. My parents had initially been anti-wedding planner, but by the time the big day was over I think they were sad to know we wouldn't be seeing her anymore! Hiring Cherry Blossom, seriously, was the best wedding planning decision we made.

    I hired CBE for day of coordinator for my daughter's wedding. Words just can't express the gratitude we all feel for the help Sarah and her staff gave us all on the week leading up to the wedding and on the actual day. We were dealing with a brand new reception site vendor and our frustration level was off the charts with them. Sarah came to the rescue and got things done effectively and efficiently and it all turned out beautifully, just as my daughter had imagined. Sarah was amazing to work with, an excellent problem solver and communicator and did it all with a smile on her face! The unmarried girls in the wedding party all want Sarah to coordinate their future weddings! Even the guys in the wedding were saying how amazing she was! Sarah and her staff took care of everything and allowed me to just enjoy the day as the mother of the bride!

    Sarah and the entire Cherry Blossom team were the second best wedding decision I made (aside from marrying my husband of course...). I'd seen Sarah's work day-of at a friend's wedding the year before and was immediately sold on her organization skills, quality of work, creativity and calming presence, which is extremely helpful for any bride. Sarah took the time to make our wedding a very unique and personal experience. The team is especially helpful for non-traditional venues because they cover and coordinate a lot of the things brides never even thought they had to handle. I'd recommend Cherry Blossom to anyone planning a wedding or large scale event. We were so thankful to have them be a part of our day!

    I honestly cannot imagine what our wedding would have been like without Andrea! We hired her for the partial planning package for our August wedding at Union South in Madison. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding planner in the beginning, but by the end he was SO happy we did! The amount of work that Andrea and Emily did on the day of the wedding alone was worth every penny. I can't imagine how stressed out I would have been if I had to coordinate all of the deliveries, setup and tear down for the wedding. Not only did they do a fantastic job on the day of the wedding, but Andrea's guidance with our rentals and flowers was more than we could have asked for. With her assistance we were able to make our dream wedding come true. I know we could not have been easy to work with in the beginning as my husband and I had no idea what we wanted for our wedding, but somehow she was able to help us figure it out. There is no doubt in my mind that hiring Andrea for our wedding was the best decision that we made! I HIGHLY recommend Cherry Blossom for your wedding!

The Cherry Blossom Events team exceeded our expectations in their service and commitment to making our wedding ideas become a reality. From day one, when we were just getting our feet wet in this whole wedding-planning world, to the wedding day itself, Sarah was at our side - making sure everything went smoothly. She and Andrea are brilliant designers, leaders and magicians in this industry.     WOW! Soooo speaking from the male side of things I can say I wasn't sure getting a wedding planner was the way to go. I was wrong. WAY wrong. Now I am not going to lie I don't have much experiences with wedding planners or event planners but I am thinking they aren't all like Andrea from Cherry Blossom Events. Umm she is a miracle worker and a life saver. I don't know if there were any issues at our wedding, and I don't know if I want to. I think that is the way it is supposed to be. My wife did a lot of planning and work on the event herself as she was very organized but I know it wouldn't have turned out like it did with out Cherry Blossom Events. I hear horror stories from weddings gone wrong. Cherry blossom events is there to make sure that doesn't happen. They work extremely hard to make sure nothing comes to you. They also coordinate with all other vendors to streamline the entire day so it can be as stress free as possible. Do yourself a favor, save yourself many many headaches. Look to hire Cherry Blossom Events for your wedding or special occasion.

    My husband and I got married in early June of this year and chose to go with Cherry Blossom because we had heard such good things about them from others who had used them. We also wanted to go with a local company and since they are based out of our hometown, we were even more excited. We chose to do the day-of-coordination package as we had already chosen all of our vendors and were well on our way in the planning process. We were absolutely floored by the amazing job Emily did. Honestly, I don't think I could have made it through those final couple of days without her. She was attentive, helpful, and made me feel so calm the day of because I felt that she truly cared about how things looked and how things went on our wedding day. I would recommend Cherry Blossom, and specifically Emily, to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner/day-of-coordinator.

    Sarah and her team at Cherry Blossom Events was first class
    throughout the entire wedding planning process. From beginning to end,
    Sarah assisted us in virtually every facet of the wedding leading up
    to the weekend itself. She guided us to top notch vendors (who all did
    their job incredibly) and lead us through contract negotiation,
    payment updates and budget assistance. Further, Sarah provided us with
    a "check list" of everything we needed to have done, and when (i.e. it
    is 6 months out, we should now focus on this___), which we found
    extremely beneficial and kept us from ever feeling like we were
    behind. Leading up the wedding date, Sarah was ALWAYS available,
    whether it was via email or phone - her responses were prompt,
    informative and was willing to contact us if we ever needed it, no
    matter what. Just when we thought Sarah had done so much in
    preparation for the wedding weekend itself, she was an absolute
    SUPERSTAR throughout our wedding weekend. Speaking literally, we were
    blown away by Sarah's ability to organize, keep our heads cool when we
    needed, coordinate all the moving parts (vendors, ceremony ,reception,
    family and friends, what happens when, etc.), preparation for every
    detail (big or small), set up and clean up, and just keep the whole
    machine running smoothly (we had 300 guests so it was a lot, believe
    me). There is more going on than you expect, and every was spot on,
    without fault, the entire time. Honestly, even though we were so
    involved in the planning process and determined every minute of the
    wedding weekend with her, there were times when we really didn't know
    what we were doing or what happens next. But because Sarah was our #1
    coach, referee and even cheerleader, we were guided where we needed to
    be and when. The weekend moves so fast and so much occurs, that you
    need someone to just take control and allow the event to execute how
    it should. Sarah did that for us.

    We hired CBE for our day-of coordinator and were fortunate to have Andrea as our lead designer. We cannot say enough how thankful we are that we chose to have CBE play a key role in our day. The entire day went so smoothly, and this allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding.

    Andrea and her assistant, Natalie, handled everything from the start of our rehearsal through tear-down of the last decoration. And, even though we had the "day-of coordination" package only, the work that CBE did for us began months before our wedding. Andrea created a complete timeline for us, and beginning two weeks prior to our date, made the final calls to all of our vendors to confirm delivery and arrival times, set-up, etc. Additionally, CBE swiftly managed all "wrinkles" that occurred during the day--for example, one of the groomsman's tuxedo vests was missing from the rental package, which we discovered only moments before the ceremony; Andrea made all of the necessary phone calls and arrangements to make sure he got a replacement vest in time for the ceremony to begin.

    Our entire day turned out beautifully thanks to Cherry Blossom Events. We are incredibly grateful for their help in making our day so memorable.

    Thank you does not begin to cover our gratitude for such an amazing job CBE did at our wedding. We paid them for a service, wanting someone to simply help us on our day, but Sarah and her staff treated us like we were their family getting married, not their "client" and not as our "vendor". They made my vision come to life. That means everything to me. they worked tirelessly for over 15 hours for us on the day of and were extremely responsive to emails, questions, etc leading up to the event. They soaked themselves in the monsoon of Wisconsin! They did it all, and I will forever be grateful. This will be the BEST money you spend on your wedding, hands down!

    It wasn't actually a wedding that Cherry Blossom planned for me. It was a 5-year surprise anniversary dinner for my wife. From the initial contact to the day of the event, they were incredible in their service, creativity, and enthusiasm in helping me plan and implement an awesome surprise that my wife absolutely loved! I would, and am planning to, hire them again for my future events. They are my go-to party planner from here on out!

    I hired Cherry Blossom Events as my day of wedding coordinator and it was one of the best things we spent our money on for the wedding. I worked with Andrea from CBE and she was phenomenal. Andrea not only made sure our day went smoothly, but she made my dream wedding come to life. Through our meetings prior to the wedding she was able to learn my vision for how I wanted everything to look day of and she executed it perfectly.     Are you excited to fret over what flowers are going to be in which vases at the reception? Would you rather dedicate all your waking free time to chasing down rental and florist contacts, or would you rather sleep? Fretting and chasing are not things I enjoy. So I had an EXPERT do them for me. Except for Sarah Sarbacker, those things are not fretting and chasing - they are thoughtfully planning and cheerfully contacting. Thinking about the BIG DAY, I did NOT want to be the one in charge. I wanted to enjoy and relax with my family and friends. And I forsaw the difficulty with a family member being in charge of all the details. That person wouldn't get to enjoy the day! Unless they were a regular bossy-pants, in which case I would not enjoy taking direction from them in the first place. Let me also tell you this: 15 minutes before our outdoor ceremony, clouds were gathering and the wind started to blow. Sarah happily and confidently crawled into the back of our car (where my MOH and I were staying warm) and asked to start the event a few minutes early because the clouds were threatening-looking. Oh a more pleasant woman I couldn't have heard this from! She even took a few minutes to tell a funny personal story and get my mind off THE WALK DOWN THE AISLE. She was a sea of calm. She projected absolute certainty and helpfulness. She does not dominate - she takes direction from what you suggest. She is a wedding FACILITATOR. I believe she is truly gifted in dealing with all different sorts of people, and yet she has a perfectionistic tendency (to get the chairs just right, to get the table centerpieces just right, etc...). She is polite, cheerful, and nothing seems to throw her for a loop.

    It was a perfect day. And Sarah Sarbacker was a huge part of making it so.

    There aren´t enough good words to describe how happy we were with the service from Cherry Blossom Events. We worked with Andrea and she was amazing: professional, organized and always friendly. You can tell she really loves her job.
    She listened to our ideas and understood the style we wanted for our wedding. We live abroad so we could only be in Madison one time to book vendors before our wedding. We had a few days to make all of our most important decisions. Andrea organized everything for us. We were able to decide on vendors very quickly, because Andrea’s suggestions were almost always exactly what we had in mind.
    We were supposed to get married outside, but the day before our wedding the weather was unpredictable. Andrea called and organized a possible back-up at the last minute. We didn´t have to worry or stress about anything.
    My bridesmaids and I were slightly behind schedule for the ceremony. I was stressed and very nervous, but Andrea’s calming presence really helped me relax and enjoy the moment.
    We had a lot of detailed decorations that Andrea put together exactly how we wanted. When we saw our reception venue it took our breath away. We could not believe what an amazing job she did. It was better than anything we could have imagined.
    Hiring Cherry Blossom Events to plan our wedding was the best decision we could have made. We whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone interested in planning an event. Thanks Andrea!

    Booking Sarah for day-of coordination was the best decision we made for our wedding. I wanted to plan the wedding myself, pick vendors etc, but Sarah and her interns executed everything perfectly. She was also super helpful leading up to the wedding—answered any questions I had, did some last minute vendor research for me, contacted all of my vendors, went over every last detail with me, and helped create an extremely thorough outline for the whole weekend. I would have been a crazy, stressed, disaster of a bride without her. Seeing my dream wedding come to life (they literally executed every tiny bit of my detailed 'decor outline') was an amazing experience. BOOK THEM NOW!

    Andrea at Cherry Blossom Events did a fantastic job with our wedding. We had a very involved DIY wedding at our family farm that would not have been possible without Andrea's help. She helped us figure out every detail, many of which we would have otherwise overlooked. She worked well with all the other vendors as well.     Sarah from Cherry Blossom is literally the hardest working woman in Wisconsin. From the start, Sarah was professional, extremely organized and great to work with.

    We planned a wedding in Madison from Chicago and Sarah was super responsive and flexible with our crazy schedules and with the limited time we spent in Madison prior to the wedding. To make things more complicated, we had our ceremony and reception at two different venues with the reception at a site where there was only 1 hour to set up prior to guests arriving. Then (of course) we had a pretty intricate table set-up for 150+ people with a very specific vision for what we wanted.

    On the wedding day, she exceeded expectations in every way. Several guests mentioned how calm and organized she was throughout the day and when we had an emergency with another vendor (a trolley broke down that was supposed to transport the wedding party), Sarah tracked down another transportation provider at the last minute. I know it was extremely difficult to find transportation for a wedding in June THE DAY OF and she remained calm and dedicated to finding us a back-up.

    Without Sarah, it would have been impossible to pull off the wedding that we wanted. She made it happen, flawlessly, and I could not be happier. I consider myself so lucky that she was recommended by another vendor and would certainly recommend her and her staff at CBE for any type of party planning.

    The best thing we did during our wedding planning process was hire Andrea and the rest of the staff at Cherry Blossom to work as our day of coordinators. Honestly, I have probably remarked on this 100 times at least in the last 9 months. If we had paid twice what we spent on CBE's services it still would not have seened like too much. Andrea is incredible -- she is patient, diligent and responsive. Aside from the day of services, our package came with two in person meetings-- both of which went for well over two hours. But Andrea also answered all our emails with great advice and thought in the months leading up to the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding she took on contact with all our vendors. Having someone else to do this reduced our stress more than we can know. I felt so confident that everything was going to be amazing the day of because we had Andrea working with us. And of course the wedding day was AMAZING. Nothing went wrong -- nothing. We were like guests at our own wedding - it went by like a dream. If I could give one piece of advice to brides planning Wisconsin weddings it would be to go with Cherry Blossom -- I can't say enough. Thank you thank you thank you!

    Sarah and her assistant, Meghan did a fabulous job taking our vision and executing it. I thoroughly described what we wanted and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my reception space, as it looked exactly as I saw it in my mind!

    They did a great job organizing a large bridal party (16 people) to make the ceremony effortless. Sarah is very thorough in the initial set up meeting and checks-in throughout the whole process to make sure every wish and detail is there on your day.

    If you truly want to enjoy your wedding experience, then using them as a day of coordinator (as we did) is a must. We received compliment after compliment on the whole experience from our guests and it was in large part thanks to their thoughtfulness and excitement to please us as a bride and groom.

    Hiring Cherry Blossom events was absolutely the best decision I made in my early wedding planning. I was planning a semi-long distance wedding and was busy working and going to school full time. Sarah was incredible. She made everything easy and FUN! She really has the mind for all the details that I would have been sure to forget. She managed everything perfectly and even knew when I needed to hear that everything was going to be okay. It's pretty much impossible to express how glad I am that I hired them. My wedding day was perfect and I owe them a huge debt of gratitude.

    Cherry Blossom Events was phenomenal! I selected the day-of package, and I am absolutely thrilled that Andrea and Sarah were there to make the day so special.

    Before the event, Andrea went way above and beyond in helping me to prepare, even though I had only opted for the day-of package. One incident in particular stood out to me. A few days before the wedding, the forecast was predicting rain. Andrea worked very hard with me to come up with alternate sites for the outdoor portion of the reception, taking hours of her own time to investigate possibilities. She made me feel so much better about the weather situation, and the indoor location she helped me pick worked perfectly.

    Then, on the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Andrea and Sarah made the event so special. They handled everything and made all the last-minute glitches disappear. My friends and family and I could really enjoy the wedding, having complete confidence that Andrea and Sarah would make the day go smoothly. There is no way I would have been able to have the perfect, amazing day I did without their help. I cannot say enough good things about CBE!

    Andrea and Sarah did an AMAZING job not only planning my wedding, but also executing/coordinating all the details on the day of. They are creative, responsive and most importantly extremely knowledgeable of the wedding industry. Within the first couple meetings they knew exactly what kind of wedding I wanted. They are wonderful, fun people to work with and I would highly recommend them to any bride who is looking for a wedding planner.     Sarah and Andrea made my wedding day 100% stress free! As the wedding was approaching and my plans were pretty much set, I knew I needed a day-of-coordinator so that I could relax and enjoy the day without worrying about all the details. Luckily, Cherry Blossom Events was the perfect solution! Sarah and Andrea met with me prior to the wedding and took extremely detailed notes of every last detail - and the day of, they helped me to execute all of those details and make sure everything was in place when I arrived to the reception. Sarah even saved the day by fixing my bustle as we waited for introductions to begin! I can't thank them enough - they were a joy to work with and put my mind at complete ease.     Sarah was wonderful to work with. My fiance and I brought her in toward the end of our wedding planning to help us with floral and reception decor--two items we were really struggling to make decisions on. Sarah brought forth great ideas and was extremely valuable in the planning and execution. In particular, she did a great job making sure every little detail was covered and coordinated/communicated our plans with a number of vendors. The help she and her team provided the week of the wedding was so valuable. My fiance and I kept commenting the week of--so, there's really nothing else for us to do? What a great feeling! And, the reception was beautiful! My only regret--we didn't involve her sooner in our planning!

    A lot of my friends have relied on friends or family members to plan and coordinate their wedding including all the decorating. I didn't want to put that stress on anyone, including myself. I'm so glad we hired Cherry Blossom Events to help us. They helped us find the most amazing reception venue that we never would have considered. Their prices were very reasonable, especially when you consider all the money they helped us save. Sara was flexible to work around my hectic work schedule, enthusiastic and full of great ideas.     Cherry Blossum did an absolutely wonderful job with our wedding. I couldn't ask for more. I only hired Andrea for the day-of but she did so much more! She met with my several times to go through my ideas and give me suggestions. She also made sure I was hitting any deadlines and I thought about everything. Every detail was covered. I can't even explain the amount of help she was the day of the wedding. Andrea took care of everything so I didn't need to worry about it. I didn't even hear about any of the glitches until they were fixed. The wedding was beautiful...everything I dreamed of. I can't thank her enough for everything she did. Worth every penny!

    Sarah and Andrea were an absolute delight to work with!! They were extremely detail-orientated and made sure that every aspect of our wedding day was carefully thought out...down to the salt and pepper shakers! We could not have been more impressed with how they handled the wedding set-up on the day. Everything was PERFECT!!! We had vendors who have been in the wedding industry for 20 years tell us that they had never worked with more hard-working or organized coordinators - quite a compliment, and very well-deserved. On top of it all, they are genuine, caring women and really just wanted to make sure that we were happy with everything. Without hesitation we would recommend Cherry Blossom Events!!!

    Sarah and Andrea are wonderful~~they really care about "your" wedding. Being the mother of the bride, and being out of town had me concerned. But no worries, they found vendors, got us information , so we could make decisions. They were very helpful, and very sweet ~~I felt very comfortable with them. Love their bubbly personalities, and their dedication to their commitment.Sarah "ran" our rehearsal ~~then they went to the farmer's market Sat. to get our wild flower order. They found that vendor too! They had another wedding on Sat. afternoon~~and ours on Sunday. They were there at 8:00 am with their team~~everything was perfect! Every detail~~the day was exactly as we had dreamed.
    I have to add that Sarah had emergency surgery 4 days before our wedding!!! I still can't believe she was up and working~~! We appreciate their dedication, caring, and all the hugs & smiles. I felt like I had known them for a long time~~when my daughter met Sarah the first time she said" I just like her~~I was totally comfortable with her, she has lots of good ideas, and I really like her" .
    Our day was perfect~~they even managed to have perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony !! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

    CBE was very organized and provided lots of information and recommendations throughout the process.  They were very familiar with the vendors in the area.  They also made themselves available whenever needed.  We are very organized and resourceful ourselves so there were times we felt we didn't need their help. However, in hindsight, especially after looking at all of the coordination needed the last few weeks and in particular the last two days, we couldn't have done it without them.  They were great and did a fabulous job.  They work hard and really make it look like it is easy. No one in our families had to do a lot of running around and there wasn't a missed detail.  We would recommend them again in a heartbeat. If you really can't justify the full service, there is no reason you shouldn't work the day-of planning into your budget.  It is well worth the piece of mind and taking the strain off of you and your family.  CBE is a great company to hire and Sarah and Andrea are great people to work with to plan your wedding.

    Andrea at Cherry Blossom Events was wonderful. She was courteous, responsive, flexible, prepared and optimistic about all of our ideas for our big day. The execution was lovely, and she brought the day together perfectly. The whole event was splendid and her plans adaptable to various contingencies, such as weather and guest counts. Our love for our wedding was due in large part to Andrea's planning. She is a lovely person and can put together a lovely, heartfelt event through and through. I would not hesitate in recommending her for your wedding. Two thumbs way up!

    Sarah Sarbacker, our wedding planner, could not have made the day more enjoyable for us! Having her available was invaluable. I was planning the wedding with my mother living 8 hours away, so Sarah went with me to appointments and offered a second opinion. Her tips and tricks helped save us time and money and gave us reliable vendor recommendations. We knew she would take care of every little detail and we got to celebrate what really mattered. The air conditioning went out in our reception venue days before our summer wedding. When my mother was sent the email, Sarah took it from there and got on the phone to make sure that we would be comfortable at the reception. I never knew a thing about it until after the problem was already resolved. We couldn't have completed our vision without her, and we definitely couldn't have done it with little to no stress as we did!

    Where do I even begin?! Andrea and Sarah were SUCH a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning I felt extremely at ease and comfortable with them. You can immediately tell how passionate they are about what they do. As a bride, I was so pleased that they were as concerned about pulling together the entire wedding to be cohesive a...s I was. They are extremely detail oriented, which is SO important and vital to the end result of a beautiful event. I received NOTHING but compliments about my special day.     Amanda saved our wedding. I'm not sure what we would have done without her. After some initial drama with our venue losing their in-house catering and hiring Cherry Blossom to take over all their weddings, having Amanda as an onsite wedding coordinator turned out to be the best thing in the world. She served as the go-between for us and the owners of the venue and made it a much more enjoyable experience. She helped smooth over some drama at the end of the night at our wedding as well and I can't thank her enough for taking control and helping make sure our wedding was the best day.

    I worked with Sarah with the partial planning package for my August wedding at the Madison Public Library. This was a brand new venue, and Sarah was eager and very helpful in reaching out to the contacts at the venue to learn all about what they could provide. I live in Los Angeles so having somebody in Madison to make calls and who was an expert in the resources/vendors available to us was very helpful. Sarah was extremely quick to respond to emails (no matter how many I sent in a day!), and also accepted unique challenges we threw at her, like searching for lazy susans for our dining tables, and a ping pong table. What really blew me away was how beautiful Sarah and her assistant made our space on our actual wedding day. While I had provided many of the decorations, she put everything together in a way even better than I had imagined it.
