I found my dress at charlotte's a couple of weeks ago and It was a magical. My stylist Stephanie found exactly what I was looking for. I'm obsessed with my dress I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!!!
The boutique and the private rooms are stunning. It was also a huge plus that they have onsite parking.
I'm normally a size 16 and as a plus size bride I was very nervous to go dress shopping. Stephanie made me feel so comfortable and beautiful even before I found the one. I could not have asked for a better experience!!!!

Charlotte’s Weddings in Portland, Oregon provided my daughter a wonderful experience. Hannah was her stylist and she was pleasant and professional and took the time to get a sense of who my daughter was and what her dream was. When my daughter became anxious she gave her some time alone and it was this time that helped my daughter come to a decision. What a wonderful experience for the bride tribe and my daughter who gave me a glimpse of that little girl and said “thank you for the wonderful shopping day, momma.”

Great for Plus-Size Brides!
Charlotte's was such a welcoming place for me, a plus-size bride who was very nervous that I'd need to be "trying on" size 6 dresses that would never give me a real idea of how a dress would look on me. Charlotte's made all my dreams come true, having a wonderful selection of dresses in plus size samples. I found my dress on my first appointment, and received so many compliments at my wedding.
I have also used Charlotte's for other services: steam/press and dress preservation. They also recommended an alteration company that was fabulous.
I could tell they also have a wonderful selection of straight-size dresses, so I will be telling any future brides I know to go to Charlotte's!

I knew when I found my wedding dress.
I researched to find the best store for a plus-sized bride. There were very few options, and I searched from Seattle to Salem. I knew I would have the best experience at a store like Charlotte’s, where I would not only be able to order a dress in my size but also have dresses I could try on in-store. I was nervous about going wedding dress shopping because I’d heard horror stories from other plus-sized brides on the internet. But Charlotte’s was a dream come true. Melanie was so sweet and encouraging. We sat and talked about what I might want, and she let me try many styles, even some I would never pick but just wanted to see. She listened to what I wanted and curated her picks so well. She respected my budget, and I left the first time thinking I had found the dress. Then I brought my uncle the second time, and Melanie was so accommodating, and we found the dress! It was lovely on the hanger, as most dresses are, but once I tried it on, it was the one. I even tried on another dress, and nothing could change my feelings. I knew when I found Sean; he was the one. I knew when I found my engagement ring; it still gives me butterflies when I wear and see it. And I knew when I found my wedding dress.

The best experience!
Charlotte's Weddings was my third stop on my first day of dress shopping. Earlier that day I hadn't found anything I was really in love with and was kind of underwhelmed with the experience. My stylist Ruby listened so well to what my experience had been earlier that day and I feel like she really understood what I liked and didn't like. I am not the most enthusiastic shopper but I feel like Ruby made it as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Every dress I tried on at Charlotte's was such high quality (way nicer than any of the other places I had been) and I literally could have picked any of the dresses and been happy! My mom and sister were also super impressed with the experience and felt like Ruby really cared and was thoughtful about what dresses she had me try on. It really was the best experience and I would highly recommend if you're in the Portland area!

I recently bought my dress from Charlotte’s and working with Stephanie made the experience so special. She was attentive, kind, funny, supportive, and so patient! I got stuck deciding between two dresses and she let me take my time and work through my vision for the day. It felt like shopping with a good friend rather than a stylist I just met. I had the most amazing time trying on gowns at Charlottes. Jen, my consultant, was so personable and it really felt like she was one of my friends. She brought me dresses that had everything I was asking for as well as some outside of the box that I ended up loving. She listened to my feedback plus made me feel comfortable and beautiful. Outstanding Dress Shopping Experience
I highly recommend wedding dress shopping at Charlotte's - especially with Ellie. Ellie did a phone call the night before and got to know me and the details of my wedding, so that when I arrived she had already pulled several dresses that I LOVED (i.e. "the one"). Also, my family attended via zoom, and Ellie was so kind in accommodating that. I found my dream dress within 30 minutes. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Last weekend I found my dream dress at Charlottes! My stylist, Jen, was OUTSTANDING!! She took the time to learn about myself and my fiancé and our venue to help me pick the right style. I am long and skinny and was nervous about finding a style that wouldn't swallow me up. I almost didn't put on the dress, and I'm so glad that Jen encouraged me to because its more perfect than I ever imagined!! I put on several beautiful dresses before this one that everyone else loved, but they weren't giving me that WOW bridal moment. As soon as Jen clipped me in I started crying and knew it was the one! This dress checks all the boxes!! I am so thankful that I had her guidance and expertise. She knew what I wanted when I didn't, and that's the best part about a great stylist. I went to Charlotte's Weddings after dress appointments at two other places (in the same day, yikes!). I had found some maybes at the first place and absolutely nots at the second place so I was feeling a little anxious and worried a dress wasn't in the cards for me. My stylist, Holly, greeted us with the best energy and was so great at making me feel welcome and like she was on the hunt along with me. Not to mention, almost every single dress she picked for me was perfect. Picked the dress I ended up going with in the first set of dresses and I was so impressed and pleased with her attention and individualization to my process. The BEST Portland Bridal Shop
I can't say enough amazing things about Charlotte's Weddings and their team (especially Stephanie)! I started dress shopping in May 2019 and Charlotte's was the fourth shop I visited - and WOW my experience with Stephanie stood out. She listened to all my needs, helped me explore every style/detail option and narrow down on what I realized I wanted (I originally had no idea and she was instrumental in helping me figure out what was best for me). I found *the one* that day, though wasn't ready to purchase - felt absolutely no pressure from Stephanie. Without wanting to leave any stone unturned, I had appointments at every Portland bridal shop and tried on 70+ dresses over the next few months (yes, apparently I'm that crazy person haha). No other experience could even come cIose in comparison - Stephanie is the best consultant in this city, they have the best dress selections, kindest staff, and welcoming environment. I came back with my sister/maid of honor in the summer and specifically asked to work with Stephanie again, us three had SO MUCH FUN (seriously, can she be my best friend?) and I officially said yes to my dress. Charlotte's was excellent with my order communications, too. My dress was supposed to arrive in late January, they started giving me status updates in December and kept me fully up-to-date on what ended up being a February arrival - not a problem for me whatsoever, and I really appreciated them being so on top of communications. Before my dress arrived, my future mother-in-law was visiting in early January and we scheduled an appointment to try on my dress style so she could see it in person (again, with Stephanie) - Charlotte's was so accommodating and made the experience with my FMIL so special, even though I'd already ordered my dress. Stephanie calmed my worrisome mind (Me: "Are we 100% sure this type of alteration is possible?" multiple times haha) and gave me her business card to call/email if I had any questions, worries, anything dress related because my dress "should not be the cause of ANY wedding stress." Picking up my dress was so easy, I'm in love with it, and I can't wait for our big day. THANK YOU Charlotte's Weddings and Stephanie - you truly are Portland's best!

Finding the Perfect Dress with no stress
Morning! I just wanted to say a big thank you to your amazing team and atmosphere. I know for some, dress shopping can be stressful and discouraging and that is only amplified when shopping for your wedding dress. I never had that feeling. It was like being a little girl and getting treated like a princess with all the beautiful gowns and my sales associate was like a best friend or sister. She was so kind and relatable. We just got married on the 4th and got some sneak peak photos back. There are so many beautiful dresses but with your guys help you had me in a dress where I felt beautiful and comfortable all day. It’s basically impossible to find something where you feel sexy and beautiful and still comfortable for a all day and night event. I felt fabulous and glamorous and sexy all day. Stephanie was my dress consultant and she was absolutely lovely! The whole staff at Charlotte's are so helpful and personable. I was nervous about the whole process, but Stephanie put my nerves at ease immediately and took the time to ask what I wanted and what I was looking for. I loved my dress from Charlotte's! Charlotte's was my first stop and so many dresses just weren't right, then I tried on one that made my mom cry. I refused to believe I could find my dress on the first try to I went to my next appointment that day and was very let down. After that appointment I went right back to Charlotte's and the woman that had been picking dresses for me had my dress pulled out, waiting for me, because she said she knew I would be back for it! My dress was actually no longer in production so I got it off the rack but it was still in great condition.

So I found my perfect dress!!! Which after all is the most important part. I recently went to Charlotte's for my dress shopping adventure and was very pleasantly surprised about how fun and easy the whole thing was. My bridal Stylist was KELLIE REYE and she was absolutely amazing, nice, fun and professional. She totally got me and picked the best dresses for me to try and was completely supportive and patient the whole time while she helped me try on many beautiful dresses she listened exactly to all my comments, likes and dislikes and helped me find and amazing dress, in the end she even took on the role of hair stylist for a minute and picked out a hairpiece and veil to help envision and see what I'd look like on my day- well it 100% helped me know for sure which dress I needed! In addition to all the other amazing aspects of my experience Kellie and the Charlotte's team was very respectful of my budget and helped me find the right dress for the right price which is always appreciated cause ya know weddings are expensive.

When I went to Charlotte's to go dress shopping, I honestly was not expecting to find "the one" that day - it was my first time going gown shopping and I'd heard so many stories of brides going to two or three different stores to find their perfect dress. But the consultants at Charlottes took the time to pick my brain to find dresses that looked good on my body figure and fit my desires. Once we realized what styles I was more comfortable in, i was able to find a dress super quickly. My dress felt bridal while also being incredibly unique. Overall it was a great experience and I couldn't be happier with the dress I got - it was perfect for the wedding!

I found my dress for our March wedding in August 2018. Maggie helped me find my dress and quickly dialed in what style I was looking for. She made it hard to chose while keeping it within a price range I was comfortable with. I had a wonderful experience!

I had the honor to work with Stephanie from Charlotte's Wedding and More and I am so grateful for the experience. Maggie was so incredibly helpful. She brought me every option I could have ever hoped for without overwhelming me and helped me say “yes to the dress” at my first appointment! When I brought my friends and family back to confirm my choice she helped me go back and forth between dresses and was so patient when I was getting impatient! Simply amazing!!!
Charlotte's is simply phenomenal!
I went shopping for my dress in March 2018, and Stephanie was my AMAZING stylist. She was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. I am considered a plus-size bride, so Stephanie pulled dresses to meet the specifications that I had asked for, and also pulled some that she thought would compliment my figure. I wasn't expecting to find my dress on the first day that I went shopping, but I did! Stephanie had selected a gorgeous Justin Alexander gown that I definitely did not expect to love, but it completely complimented my figure, was absolutely beautiful, and was within my budget. Stephanie was also able to find a veil that almost exactly matched my dress. I was so impressed and everyone in the room was crying!
After the dress was ordered and I picked it up, Charlotte's was also able to help me find a seamstress that did amazing work on my dress. They also offered an amazing deal during December on steaming and pressing gowns, and they helped me understand how to transport my dress, since my wedding was several hours away from their store. They are also great with communication, as I knew every step of the way where my dress was in the process.
Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about Charlotte's! Their staff are so incredibly helpful and kind, and they truly take care of their brides. I highly recommend Charlotte's to any bride who is looking for amazing selection and service. My dress truly made my wedding day more special and incredible than I could ever imagine.

Ryann was my consultant and the whole experience was so much fun! I had never tried on any gowns and was a little nervous, especially being a plus size bride, but she was so accommodating and warm. She helped me find the perfect dress and helped me arrange some custom additions to make my dress the dress of my dreams. She also made suggestions about hair pieces and helped me choose one of those as well. Overall, such a great experience. I would highly recommend!

Loved Dress Shopping at Charlotte's
I had the best experience at Charlotte's Weddings. Nicole helped me while I was there and really listened to what I was looking for, because the very first one I tried on was the ONE. I ended up visiting twice, each time with half of my bridesmaids, and she was so helpful and really made the it a fun experience that I will never forget. AMAZING! So happy with them.
I am a woman of size and my experience here was comfortable, fun, and confidence-inspiring, which is more than I can say for other local dress shops. I tried on a dress and fell in love and they then found out it wasn't made up to my size, so they personally called the designer's team to see if they'd be willing to custom make it for me. They did, and the dress was gorgeous! I am so, so happy with them and their outstanding customer service. Would absolutely recommend them to any and all brides.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Charlotte's! Marjorie was my consultant, and I am so grateful for her! My mother and mother-in-law accompanied me to the appointment, and we had a great time. We felt so relaxed, and had a lot of fun trying on the beautiful dresses. Marjorie recommended a dress that I wasn't initially planning on trying on, and it became the dress that I chose! Everyone loved my wedding dress, and I'm so glad that I went to Charlotte's! Had a wonderful experience buying my wedding dress at Charlotte's. Beautiful showroom and couch area for my family to be seated. The consultant I worked with, Stephanie, helped me find a dress that combined two other dresses I liked but that weren't quite right. The dress I went with was separates, a corset and a skirt, which I never would have picked up myself—but I absolutely loved the gown. Stephanie used her eye to order a dress that was sized differently than I measured for—and she was right! The smaller size was best. Charlotte's connected me with a great seamstress, Lorainne Huey. Also purchased my veil from them. Would absolutely recommend!

This salon is dream come true! I live in Florida now, but I grew up in Portland and I came home to look for my wedding dress with my mom. We went to multiple other salons before coming to Charlotte's. I had a terrible experience at all the other salons, I had basically given up on finding my dress with my mom. The last appointment I had was at Charlotte's, and I should have started here! Jennifer was absolutely amazing, I felt like she really understood me and the style that I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful throughout the entire process. She ended up finding my dream dress, something that looked stunning on me. I couldn't hold back the tears when I put it on, I was able to find my dream dress, with my mom in my hometown. Since then, Jennifer and Niki have been in constant contact with me, keeping me updated and in the loop about my dress. They have been so accommodating with me being out state. I will forever be grateful for Charlotte's, their salon and staff is a true blessing to me. <3

I had a hard time shopping for my dress and one evening I decided to stop by Charlotte's. Thank goodness I did! They normally take appointments but one of the gals ended up staying later just to see me and was so kind. She didn't act rushed or try to hurry me in any way. She was so kind which made the experience great. She really helped me narrow down which dress to get. My dress was perfect and I am so thankful for Charlottes and their team. I also love how they have special perks for being a Charlotte's bride, even after getting married! I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Wow! This was absolutely the best shopping expierince of my life. Part of my bridal party and I came from Eugene and basically had a day, to find the perfect dress. LOVE Charlotte’s! Everything I could have ever wanted in a Dress shop day! Stephanie was my fairy godmother in terms of dress picking, she pulled a “wildcard” dress that was perfect for me. This was my first stop for wedding dress shopping and had another appointment scheduled for later that day, but ended up canceling the second appointment because we found my dress! Our consultant did an excellent job of incorporating my budget along with my style preferences and found “the one” on dress #2! I wanted to make sure it was the one by trying on a total of ~8 dresses, but we all kept going back to #2. The private room was perfect for me and my 4 guests, and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of champagne! I recently purchased my dress at Charlotte's and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Maggie was so accommodating to me and my inexperience. I had not idea what type of dress and she helped me find one that was within my budget and was flattering on my body. I went to Charlotte's after one of my Bride's maids told me how much she loved shopping there for her wedding dress. The women were kind and knowledgeable. My stylists really listened to me and looked at the photos I had brought in and paired me with some really amazing gowns. I found my dress without stress and couldn't be happier. I had such a wonderful time finding my dream dress at Charlotte's. When my party and I entered, we were greeted with enthusiasm and it only got better from there. I first visited Charlotte's back in November 2016 after having visited a few other stores and not finding a dress that I absolutely loved and was in my budget. Before the appointment, I was able to view the dresses they carry on their website and create an account and add dresses to my Favorites list. At the appointment, they pulled up my account to see my Favorites list and my consultant, Jennifer, brought out the ones from my list that are in my budget and match what I was looking for. I immediately loved the first one I tried on and eventually came back to it after trying on a few more dresses. When I was not ready to make the commitment after the first appointment, Jennifer was very understanding and not pushy at all.
After the first appointment, Jennifer checked in regularly on my progress in finding a dress. Then a few months later, she emailed me to let me know that the dress I loved was on sale for the weekend and she helped me make an appointment over email. Then again, she worked with me during the appointment, giving me as much time as I needed to make the decision and letting me try on different accessories and providing suggestions on sizing, alterations and bustle options for the dress.
Overall, an amazing shopping experience with the store and especially, Jennifer! To top if off, my dress actually arrived a month earlier than promised and fit me perfectly in the size that Jennifer suggested! I would totally recommend Charlotte's Weddings and Jennifer to all my friends and family!

I absolutely loved my experience with Ryann at Charlotte's!! Ryann was so friendly, took the time to get to know me, and was very patient with me.
As Charlotte's was the first shop I visited, I wasn't ready to make a decision on a dress yet, and Ryann was also very accommodating to that. She wrote all the info for my favorite dress down, took my measurements and graciously wished me luck on my next appointment.
I know this won't matter to most people perhaps, but Ryann was also very accepting of me as a gay bride. She never gendered my fiancee as male, or made any assumptions about how our wedding was going to go.
HIGHLY recommend Charlotte's Weddings, and Ryann specifically!

The super helpful ladies of Charlotte's Bridal helped me try on waaaay more dresses than I originally had anticipated. Once I got there, my sister, mother, and I couldn't help but pick out about 15 dresses. I couldn't decide that day, so I came back to try on my top 5. The private suite was absolutely beautiful, private, and a great place for my friends/family to hang out. My experience at Charlotte's was amazing! I actually ended up falling in love with a dress that I tried on at a different bridal shop than Charlotte's, but the service was so great at Charlotte's that I asked if Charlotte's would be able to get ahold of the dress I found at the other shop. Luckily, Charlotte's worked with the designer of the dress I had found at the other bridal shop, so I was able to buy the dress through Charlotte's.

Such a beautiful shop full of awesome friendly staff. I had a great time, they all made me feel so good and comfortable! I came into my appt and the gal that was helping me looked at the pictures I showed her of the dresses I liked and she brought about 10 in for me to try on, helping me in and put of all of them and finding accessories to go with all the dresses. Then I sported one in the corner of my eye and asked to try it on she quickly went and got it, and that happened to be my dress. She said I was beaming when I put it on and I was in love. The staff was so friendly and explained everything to me, she checked that my dress was stocked and told me the time frame that it would arrive and it came in on time! She didn't pressure me into buying any dresses, she didn't tell me her own opinions unless I asked what she thought, she was cracking jokes with me about what the family in the lobby would say when they saw each dress. And they even gave me a 10% discount because it was my very first dress shop! I definitely recommend this place!! You guys were fantastic!

Charlotte's was the second place that I tried on dresses and I had such a fabulous experience! First off, the store is so cute and well organized that it was like walking into a bridal fairytale with beautiful dresses just lined up waiting to be tried on! Everyone was so nice and welcoming when me and my party walked in. My consultant was Ryann and she was so wonderful! She sat down with me and asked what my dream dress looked like in my head. The dresses she pulled for me to try on were great as well. Of course not every dress was the one for me but each one had at least one aspect that I told her I was looking for so it was fun to try on different styles. I ended up falling in love with the very first dress I tried on and I ended up purchasing it! I can't wait to put it on again when it comes in! It is absolutely my dream gown and I can't express enough how wonderful of an experience it was shopping at Charlotte's! I would recommend Charlotte's and Ryann for sure.
Oh and I got to wear a huge, comfy robe before putting the gowns on! Can't go wrong with a nice relaxing robe!:)

I highly recommend Charlotte's. Wedding dress shopping for me could be compared to shopping for a home. The process was very important to me, and so was the outcome. Many houses can look the same, but there are houses out there that have flare and design. I didn't want a "cookie cutter" dress that looked like something that I had seen 10,000 other brides wear. I wanted a unique, charming, beautiful, and classy dress that would reflect everything that I had envisioned for my dream dress. That is exactly what I was able to find at Charlotte's. The store was so great. I first went for the bridal giveaway in March and was pleasantly surprised with the size and the various sizes of dress. Being plus sized brings a certain level of anxiety when having to change in front of people and wanting to feel beautiful like all those tiny brides. We went in on a Thursday and I was treated like royalty. Grace took time to hear where and what I wanted for my wedding. Then asked a ton of questions and got right to picking dresses for me. Boy did she listen intently, the first dress was more gorgeous than I could have imagined and now I look forward to walking down the aisle looking the prettiest and most confident I ever have. I am thankful and grateful for the service provided by Grace at Charlotte's weddings and More!! And beyond thrilled to have said yes to my dress!

Charlotte's is a dream of a shop. Their consultants, vibe and aura made my dress shopping experience all worth it. I went in feeling very overwhelmed because of the amount of dresses I had already tried on. Stephanie was patient, listened to what I liked, and chose my dream dress. All of Charlotte's employees have been nothing but helpful and kind with me during my whole wedding dress buying experience. All of their dresses are STUNNING, they made me feel like a princess when I came in to try them on! I really loved that they have a private room for you and your guests to enjoy during your appointment. My consultant Ryann was so amazing and took such good care of me! I also used their onsite tailor which is super convenient and easy for a busy bride! I can't recommend them enough!

This was the second store I went to find my dress and I'm glad I did, from the moment I came in I was welcomed and everything just moved smoothly from there. Everyone has such a good attitude and their rooms are actually pretty spacious with enough chairs for your guests. The large mirrors are a plus. I recommend doing the application to get pre-approved for credit which you will probably need anyways because I swear you will end up falling in love with one of their dresses. Also I ended up.being late to many of my appointments and they always took me in and never rushed me. I LOVE my dress so much, I almost cried when I tried it. Recommend this store 100%

Charlotte's is a great choice!! You will not be let down form this place! My experience was both fun and relaxing. My party that came with me was just as pleased as I was. Right away, my party and I were offered a glass of champagne for the big day making my day feel even more special and fun and also gave my party something to enjoy during the process. The women who helped me really listened to what I needed and found multiple dresses I fell in love with and made me feel even more beautiful when they were on me and helped me by pointing out what I was looking for and how it works/not works. There is also a great range in prices to help keep you at your budget. The best part of my experience was the time I found my dress and specifically what Charlotte's does to make it even more memorable. I say yes to this dress shop!

I walked into Charlotte's, without any idea what kind of dress I wanted. Of course, I wanted to feel great and beautiful in my future dress, but had no idea which style would be that one. I worked with Jennifer and she was amazing. She was so great about asking questions and reading my face. Even though she just met me, she could tell what I was thinking. She helped guide me along the way, which brought me to the most beautiful dress, that was perfect for me. I just loved the way, she made me feel comfortable and confident. My point is that you don't really have to know anything or even have an idea of what you want. They are so well equipped to take care of you, you will find a dress that you feel beautiful in!

I am a details person: Every aspect of my wedding has to live up to the standard of what I had been dreaming it to be since I was 7 years old. I had huge aspirations, a tight budget, and was exhausted after looking for dresses at 12 shops across three states and still had nothing to show for it. I walked into charlottes thinking that I probably wouldn't find anything and wound up finding the dress of my dreams and unparalleled service. Not only did they make time for me on a fully booked day but never made me feel rushed or hurried in and out of a room. Jennifer asked what I was looking for, allowed me to roam around pulling any and all dresses that I wanted and let me try and try on again before I made up my mind. Not to mention the level of comfort they gave me with a huge dressing room, and a soft warm, robe to wear while I was between changing dresses. Jennifer even went a step further to play the song I wanted to walk down the isle to as I tried my dress on a second time. I cried and was so happy to have had her take care of me with such honest good heartedness! I had since had questions and also wanted to try on my dress again to figure out how I want to do my hair in it and charlottes has always kept that customer service bar high. They are absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend them.

Charolette's was my second appointment of the day and to say it was night and day from my first appointment would be an understatement. They were welcoming, down to earth, accommodating and most important, made me feel confident about my opinions and how the dresses I tried on, fit ME! They also had sample sizes that they could adjust to fit all body types, which meant I didn't have to picture the dress on me but could actually try it on (not the case during the first appointment). I left the salon feeling amazing about my bridal experience and even better, with my wedding dress ordered. The dress shipped fast and in perfect condition! NOW for the real reason for this review - although the dress shipped exactly how Charolette's said it would, it ended up being way too big on me (normally not a bad problem to have) but after taking it to a local alterations company, I was told alterations would be $900, more than half of what I originally paid for the dress. I contacted Charolette's to see if anything could be done and the store manager, Lindsey went ABOVE AND BEYOND to find every possible way to give me options and make it right, even though it wasn’t their fault (I lost weight and my dress has a unique silhouette that no one could have predicted would be so costly to fit to my body). I will send all of my friends to Charolette's Weddings & More and can’t thank Lindsey and the entire team enough for an amazing customer experience.

Shopping for my wedding dress at Charlotte's has been a wonderful experience and I will definitely recommend them to any future bride! I am so excited to have found my best friend and husband and they made wedding dress shopping easy, painless and such a cherished memory. I am a plus size bride and was very worried about dress shopping and if I would have options, find a dress that looked good on me and that I loved! My mom and sister-in-law joined me and sipped champagne and took pictures as I tried on dresses. Stephanie was my consultant and I can't give her enough praise for listening to me, finding dresses for me that met my wishes and being fun, supportive and informative! I would recommend Charlotte's Weddings bridal salon over any other bridal salon in Portland! From the first phone conversation to the purchase of my perfect gown, the experience was easy and sincere. The staff at Charlotte's really helped me to find a dress that I loved and was available to get in for my time frame. Plus, they work with a seamstress, Lorraine, that can meet you at the salon when your dress arrives making each step of the dress buying experience so easy.

This is seriously the best wedding gown place i have ever been too. Not only were they flexible with the amount of people who came with me, but my wedding gown specialist was amazing! I couldn't have had a better experience! This was the first bridal shop I went to. Stephanie was my consultant and she and I talked for about 15 minutes before she got any dresses to get a good feel of what I wanted (I didn't even really know at the time). She then brought in 4 different dresses and after I chose what I liked/disliked about them, she brought in 4 more and I found my dress! It was the 7th one I tried on! Stephanie was SO good at listening to me and was really intuitive on what I wanted. After I bought my dress, a couple days later I received a hand-written note from Stephanie congratulating me and offering any further help if I needed it with vendors! Seriously, SUCH a good experience. I will definitely recommend Charlotte's to anyone I know is getting married!

At other salons I felt pressured into having to make a decision that day, but my consultant here was super friendly and did not make me feel that way. It was the perfect experience for me! My fiancé couldn't be there with me because he's in school so each time I went in the team here always made me feel special with a warm welcome. Stephanie was the one to help me she is amazing at what she does I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me! I had some special requests for my dress I needed it to be pretty modest and she was so helpful with that. After trying on 2 dresses the 3rd was the charm and I worked to pay for that dress. I paid half one week and half when the dress came in from the vendor! The dress that was ordered fit perfectly and was the color that I wanted. I purchased my wedding dress at Charlotte's and my experience was lovely, through and through. The space itself is beautiful and the individual rooms are equally lovely. My consultant, Maggie, really listened to what I said in terms of my style, vision, and budget. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase a gown that I wasn't in love with. She listened as I tried on each dress and sincerely invested in the special moment. Maggie facilitated an atmosphere of honesty and joy, which I sincerely appreciate. I was fortunate enough to purchase my dress and earrings from Charlotte's while they were having a sale, so the price turned out to be lower than my allotted budget, which is always a plus!
All in all, Charlotte's is a beautiful place to purchase the dress of a lifetime!

We were able to come back later that same day to try on my favorite dress again after checking out a few other stores, and she went out of her way to make sure the designer could make it the way I wanted. My Charlotte's experience was absolutely perfect. This was my first of 3 stops and I didn't feel like I needed to visit the other two shops. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and kind. The dressing room had plenty of room for the 3 ladies I brought with me. I was given a plush robe and necessary undergarments. I felt like I was given a wide variety of choices and every dress matched the "feel" of my wedding. The woman who helped me took every comment I made into consideration when she pulled more dresses. She did all of this while always staying under my budget. She did bring one dress back that was slightly over my budget but she told me before I put it on. After I purchased the dress, communication was still great and my dress arrived just 3 months after purchase! I will be sending anyone who asks to Charlotte's!
I did go to my other two appointments just in case but I compared both of them to my experience at Charlotte's. I loved the selection too!

We had a great experience here. This was the only shop I went to. I talked to Bethany for a few minutes about what I wanted and she brought me choices. IT was nice not being overwhelmed by not having to look through everything there. Also we went a little over our time but didn't even know it until we left and looked at the time. They kept me informed the whole time after ordering my dress and were very flexible on me picking up the dress because I live in North Dakota.

This is a great place if you have an idea of what you want and do not like to make choices between millions of similar dresses. I went there by myself. Unlike other boutique, I did not pick my dresses out of the rack. Instead, Jennifer asked me what I want and went out of the room to pick dresses for me. Then I get the chance to wear on some of the dresses that I would not pick out myself but still look great on me. Jennifer know exactly what I want but still being creative in picking up dresses that would surprise me. Actually my final decision at this boutique is a one that I would not thought about but look great on me. Although I did not bought my dress here, it is still a great experience. I felt happy and relaxed throughout the appointment and really felt like a bride.

During my bridal gown search I went to several local establishments. Charlottes by far provided the best experience and the best gowns (for my taste). My consultant, Robin, brought in a few different styles to try and then brought me THE dress! It was gorgeous and everything I didn't even know I wanted. She made the whole process as easy as possible. My seamstress also commented on how amazing Robin was and how she can pick THE dress right away but has to bring in other dresses first to provide a good experience for the bride and her family/friends. Highly recommend visiting Charlottes for any special occasion gown.

I cannot say enough positive things about Charlotte's Weddings and More. Alaina was my consultant and she was a joy to work with. Alaina was very attentive, engaging and excelled at her job. I brought 6 of my favorite ladies with me and she made sure to spend time talking with each one. Alaina was simply a joy to work with and helped me find the perfect dress. She understood my overall vision and found me a dress that I had never considered, but that ended up being the one for me. I also worked with the owner who did the measurements for my hollow-to-hem, and as with Alaina, she was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I stayed within my price point ($1,500-$2,000), and was never shown a dress outside my budget. Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful dress, high quality staff, and a the "Say yes to the dress" experience, Charlotte's is the way to go!

Charlotte's was amazing and my consultant, Molly, was fabulous! After going to two dress shops in Portland, I was feeling discouraged by the time I got to Charlotte's and started to doubt if I would ever find "the dress". Molly took great care of me, and listened to my thoughts and opinions about each dress I tried on. She was patient, kind & considerate. She knew exactly when to give advice and when to stand back and let us ponder our thoughts. I am so thankful to Charlotte's and Molly for helping me land a dream dress! I would recommend Charlotte's to any bride-to-be for their great selection and exceptional service.

I absolutely loved going to Charlotte's. I could not have asked for better service. I worked with Kat and she listed to everything I wanted. I only had to try on 4 dresses! My dress came on time with no issues. I would definitely recommend them to other brides in the area.
