Working with Carolina Lavoignet Wedding Design & Coordination was one of the greatest blessings of our entire wedding experience. From the very beginning, Carolina’s beautiful spirit and calm presence made every meeting feel like a breath of fresh air and she was often the best part of our day.
Throughout the planning process, she made us feel grounded and prepared, even when we felt unsure or overwhelmed. She gently guided us with reassurance, clarity, and a deep understanding of how to bring a vision to life while being mindful of our budget. We never felt lost, she made sure we knew exactly where our money was going, and how to get the most beauty and joy out of every choice.
There was a moment when we were completely overwhelmed and we missed getting back to her, panicked, and felt like everything was falling apart. Carolina, in her ever-gracious and professional way, calmly reassured us, took care of the details, and made us feel safe again. Her ability to take stress off our shoulders is something we’ll never forget.
Our wedding day? Pure magic. There was so much love, peace, and joy in the air and our guests are still telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to in years. Everything flowed seamlessly, the service was outstanding, and the entire day felt effortless thanks to Caro’s thoughtful coordination and care.
I would recommend Caro to anyone who wants more than just a planner, someone who brings zen to the process, who makes you laugh when things feel heavy, and who truly becomes family. Carolina, our beloved Mariposa de Tulum: We miss you already and are so grateful for everything you brought into our lives. Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality. -

Since i met them, i knew i wanted to hire them for my wedding. They are super professional and have an amazing vibe. My guests were thrilled with the service, the great organization, the music, and the food-wow!
They exceeded my expectations! For futures events, I would come back to Tulum just to have them again. -

It was an unforgettable evening surrounded by the most important people in my life, and everything turned out perfectly.
I want to thank Carolina and her team for their dedication and attention to detail — she was always attentive, making sure we could enjoy the event without having to worry about anything.
Her entire team was incredibly kind, and the food was delicious!
The cocktails were amazing, and I’m still dreaming about those desserts! -

Shaleen Sent on 10/06/2017Let me start by saying Carolina is such a beautiful soul with amazing energy! She is reliable, trusting and efficient! I live in California and wanted a wedding in Tulum, This is the first time I had planned a wedding let alone a party lol. I have no idea what to except. Carolina was a caring and compassionate wedding planner. It’s hard to get the whole picture through email so she would FaceTime me and explain everything in depth, which helped me relax and enjoy the process. When we arrived in Tulum she was with us at our hotel helping us every step of the way going above and beyond, driving is to the store to buy all our welcome bag favors and all the alcohol we needed for the event. She also helped with the planning of our welcome dinner at another Location, she covered everything for us so we didn’t not have to worry about a thing and got to relax the whole week! Not just the day of. Thank you Carolina for all your positive energy you put into our cosmic celebration. We love you!

Carolina se ocupó constantemente de buscar el mejor precio calidad para todos lo proveedores. Estuvo siempre atenta a mantener el presupuesto sin comprometer calidad. -
Christian Sent on 11/15/2017I had a wonderful experience with Carolina and her team. As all destination weddings with language barriers go there will be some hiccups but Carolina was very clear with me and quick to communicate. We did not have a huge budget and she worked with us. We wanted to go on a group snorkeling trip and Carolina arranged everything and took our payment, when the weather and sea did not permit for snorkeling she took time to come to our rehearsal dinner and give us our money back then. My only complaint were the flowers were not to my liking but we did have a small budget for flowers. I may research other florists in Tulum if flowers are your thing! Also I believe the hotel staff put a table from the restaurant down at our alter last minute before the service and no one moved it so it stayed in the center of altar with no purpose. That was it though. My favorite part was not having to spend a second researching vendors. She had the best DJ who came with lights and everything and she worked with our hotel staff who was very slow to respond via email for me. Our wedding was so beautiful! Carolina made me feel carefree on the big day and was fun and easy going. I highly recommend her for your special day! XOXO
