We fell in love with Carolina and Mara from our first conversation (done over Zoom). Carolina was organized, clear, and listened to every detail we expressed. But, Carolina was also warm, genuine, and down to earth - and we immediately clicked with her. Our instincts told us she would be easy and fun to work with, and we felt confident she would make our whole vision come together. Due to some personal health issues we had to postpone our already half booked celebration for an entire year - Carolina was not only our greatest ally in terms of liaising with all the vendors to adjust our contracts, but she also became the sweetest friend, keeping in touch and checking on us throughout that whole year. All the while, never forgetting our vision and ideas.
Needless to say, when our wedding week finally came around there was so much anticipation to see how everything we'd discussed would come to life. Carolina planned both our Welcome Party and Wedding, each with their own very specific themes and vibes - and with my whole heart I mean it when I say both events were BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS. Not only did they nail each and every single detail, but everything was more than we could have asked for. Carolina and Mara are absolute professionals- but they are also true CREATIVES and very talented individuals!
Our Welcome Party was a Mexican Fiesta theme of bright, playful colors against a white canvas - and Carolina delivered the most elegant, modern and yet still traditionally Mexican atmosphere we could have imagined. Everything from the seating arrangements to the thoughtful details - centerpieces, perfectly placed pompom strings, and lighting blew everyone away. We could have stopped at just that Welcome Party and it would have been enough to rave about all week!
But then the Wedding - I will never, ever forget how perfect everything was. It truly felt like Carolina climbed into our minds and pulled out everything our hearts imagined. Not to sound partial because it was our own, but it was honestly the BEST WEDDING I've ever seen!! I could have lived in that day forever. The communication between Caro, Mara and the vendors was seamless, everything went off without a hitch - we even had guests that were so blown away and impressed by just the servers knowing who they were and their individual allergies! It was such a luxurious and polished experience.
Everything was gorgeous! From the flowers, which Caro creatively personalized to incorporate elements of our beloved desert, to the fun seating assignment idea, and the exceptional tablescape - it all came together in a perfect representation of our personalities.
Whatever your idea, Carolina has a vast network of resources and connections to make it happen. And if she's never done it before, she's happy to research how to find it. She will help you choose the perfect venue, photographer, chef, band, H+MU, and other fun details to make your day unique! We cannot recommend Carolina highly enough - she will make all your dreams for your special day come true! -

We still can’t believe that our wedding was our wedding. It truly felt like a movie, a dream we were lucky enough to live! We could not have done it without the expertise, warmth, and enthusiasm of Caro and her assistant Ale. They are the dream team.
I first came across Carolina while browsing WeddingWire. My partner and I had originally planned to get married in California, but nothing we looked at quite felt like us. We’ve always loved Puerto Vallarta, and once the idea of getting married there crossed our minds, everything clicked. The thumbnail on Caro’s profile immediately caught my eye. The weddings in her portfolio were stunning... elegant, tasteful, and full of personality. Then I read the reviews and was blown away by how much her couples clearly adored working with her.
When we met Caro over Zoom, it felt like we were talking with a close friend about our wedding. Her energy is contagious, and it was obvious right away that she genuinely loves what she does. As a gay couple, it’s important for us to feel comfortable and safe with the people we work with, and Caro exceeded that immediately. We felt welcomed, supported, and celebrated from the very first conversation. From that moment on, the entire process felt exciting rather than stressful.
Caro is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. She knows the ins and outs of planning a wedding in Puerto Vallarta - what works, what doesn’t, which vendors are fantastic, and how to bring everything together seamlessly. She worked with our budget and somehow made us feel like absolute superstars. Throughout the entire process she listened carefully, remembered the little things that mattered to us, and helped shape a wedding that felt completely authentic to who we are as a couple.
The result was beyond anything we could have imagined. It was beautiful, joyful, and perfectly us.
Beyond being an incredible planner, Caro and Ale are simply wonderful people. Kind, fun, and the type of people you genuinely enjoy spending time with. By the end of this experience, we felt like we had gained friends in Puerto Vallarta.
We are still on cloud nine from our wedding, and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Caro and Ale, for giving us the wedding of our dreams. -

A Dream Wedding Made Easy (All Virtual!)
Working with my Carolina and her team was truly one of the best experiences. She helped me plan the most perfect day and we did it all virtually! I didn’t travel to the venue until wedding weekend, yet she made the entire process feel seamless, organized, and completely under control.
She was incredibly responsive, warm, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. Every question was answered quickly, every detail was handled thoughtfully, and I always felt supported throughout the process.
On the wedding day, I had zero stress. Everything flowed smoothly, vendors were perfectly coordinated, and her team executed every detail beautifully. I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, which is priceless.

From start to finish, Carolina and her team were nothing short of amazing. Carolina provided her expertise and knowledge throughout the entire process. From the first call, we knew we could trust her to bring our vision to life on our special day. She was transparent, flexible, and had a ton of professional experience -- all of which was needed when planning a destination wedding from thousands of miles away. She answered all our questions and helped us to think critically about each detail and what would best fit our vision within our budget.
Her creativity brought our vision to life in ways we never could have imagined, and her team's organization ensured everything ran seamlessly. Carolina personally visited our wedding venue to share live videos, created live wedding decor setups to share with us, negotiated with vendors on our behalf, and even went into the city to snag items that left a personal touch.
On the day of the wedding, we were able to fully enjoy ourselves, knowing Carolina and her team (extra special shoutout to MARA!) had everything handled. We couldn't have dreamed of a better planner! Carolina truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

From the time we first met Carolina we knew that she was the right person to be our wedding planner. She has such good vision and detail that she immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that our big day was going to be great! Carolina is incredibly knowledgeable about the region with connections to different vendors to accommodate your wedding vision. She is highly coordinated and detail oriented, leaving nothing out. When it came to our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about anything other than being there for our family and friends, Carolina had everything under control. Everything that we requested was perfect, from the venue to the decorations, the catering/bar, to the DJ, the photographer, fireworks, mariachi and more... she had everything running like a fairytale for us. Carolina and her assistant Mara reached inside our heads and delivered a wedding even better than we imagined! There were only 10 of us total and it still felt as special, important, and well thought out as any large wedding. We wanted something more colourful and laid back and they completely understood what we were going for! They took care of details we never would've thought of and answered all our questions quickly and clearly. And they are as genuine and kind as they are professional! The best wedding planner!!!!
Carolina and her assistant Mara are the absolute best!!! When my husband and I decided to get married in Puerto Vallarta, we knew we needed a good planner that was familiar with the area. We met with a few planners, but the choice was obvious with Carolina. We instantly connected with her easy going personality, but could also tell she was someone who could get stuff done. And she did exactly that!! Our wedding turned out so beautiful with the help of her and her team. Making wedding decisions can be difficult and she was so patient with us the entire time and answered every single one of our questions. The vendors that she works with are also absolutely amazing. I had multiple guests come up to me complementing Carolina and Mara saying how beautiful the wedding was and how smooth the event went. We seriously could not have done it without them. Carolina is fantastic. We came in with a short planning timeline and not much expertise. Carolina had everything covered from general planning, to long-lasting relationships with local vendors, and all the venues in the Punta Mita area. Specialty items to source? She's got you covered. Very specific local insights? Yep that too.
I was particularly impressed with how well her and her team ran the execution & communication on the wedding weekend itself. She expertly and proactively coordinated everything with the skill of a seasoned symphony conductor.

We're based in the California, so we were looking for a planner that was local to Puerto Vallarta: Carolina was a great fit. Our wedding day AND welcome party went on without any issues. All of our guests shared how they had such a wonderful time with us.

Super Estrella! Best Planner in PV
I wish words could describe how amazed my husband and I were with Carolina and her team! Carolina delivered the most amazing and magical wedding I could have ever dreamed of! From setting the date and finding a venue, and until the dance floor was cleared, she helped us plan this wedding as if it was her own. Her level of professionalism and devotion to making your day the most magical one is unmatched. She not only did it once, but TWICE! We can't recommend Carolina and her team enough for executing our dream wedding in Punta Mita. We are from Los Angeles and were nervous about planning a destination wedding. We interviewed numerous wedding planners over zoom, and instantly felt at ease with Carolina. She treats you like family from Day 1 and we knew we would be in good hands. I mean this in the most loving way possible... but my wife has a lot of ideas... and Carolina and her team helped us narrow them down and execute them to perfection. We had multiple events, including a Golf Day for the Boys, Spa Day for the Girls, Rehearsal Dinner for 50 people at a restaurant on the outskirts of Punta de Mita, a Welcome Reception at a different restaurant in downtown Punta de Mita, a pool party at the W Hotel Pool, and finally our wedding day. Her team coordinated our welcome bags for our guests, negotiated all of the contracts with outside vendors (Violinist, DJ, Florist, Hotel, Restaurants, Fireworks, Photographer, Videographer, and more), kept everyone on schedule and organized, and every event went off without a hitch. We can go on and on about how amazing Carolina and her team are, but they are simply the best. -

The Best Decision a Bride Could Make
My husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. The one thing I knew for sure that I needed was a wedding planner, because I knew I wasn't going to be able to do everything from Texas by myself. I right away jumped onto my Instagram and started searching for one. Carolina right away popped up and I knew I needed to have a zoom meeting. When we did our first zoom meeting together, it was an instinct connection. Her personality was just absolutely amazing. She was just so generally happy for us and we could tell as well. I knew right there, she was going to be our wedding planner. Carolina right away got to business. She gave me a list of what we needed to do and it was great, because we didn't know where to start. Carolina and her assistant Mara were always on their toes and was texting/emailing me on task that needed to be complete. We actually visited her a month after we signed with her and she just gave my a full vision of how our wedding was going to look. It got us even more excited! The day of our wedding was a DREAM COME TRUE. My husband and I just couldn't believe that our team planned everything. Let me just say... as a out of country bride who didn't know what she wanted I put my trust and soul into Carolina and her team and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

My husband and I live in the US but wanted to have a small wedding ceremony (~25 guests) in Puerto Vallarta where we had visited 2 years prior. We were worried it was going to be hard planning a wedding from so far away but hiring Carolina banished all of our fears. We already knew from looking at her past weddings/events that she has an amazing eye for design/aesthetic. What we didn't know was how she would go above and beyond in everything - she was always professional, dependable and addressed all of our needs/concerns. She understood our vision and recommended vendors that she knew would execute day of. She helped us stay within our budget while also recommending extras that might be nice (and they were!). After we made our choices, she handled everything else. We pretty much had no worries, and wedding planning was never stressful knowing Caro had our backs.
The day of was an absolute dream. All of her assistants were so kind and professional. The vendors (makeup artist, photographer, flowers, catering, DJ, etc) were simply stellar. All of our guests were amazed by the venue and the atmosphere. None of it would have been possible without Carolina and her impeccable work. She is such a kind soul and will do whatever she can to bring every detail of your dream wedding to life. Don't hesitate to work with her! You will not regret it. A Dream Come True
Words cannot describe how valuable Carolina’s services were in planning our wedding! We got engaged in Puerto Vallarta in June of 2021 and two days later we met with Carolina to discuss planning our wedding. From the moment we met her we were struck by her professionalism, experience level & down to earth personality. Carolina has been doing weddings in Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years and it was her experience level that helped us to create our dream wedding. From day one Carolina was there to lead the way, making sure we understood what we needed to get done and when it needed to be done by. From venue selection to table mock ups, she provided us with all of the information to make the best decisions for us. She worked tirelessly with us to make sure we were on budget for our big day. When the resort we were staying at didn’t have availability for our wedding, she found us a beach venue at a fraction of the cost. The day of our wedding was seamless. Carolina and her team were there for everything from guest transportation to vendor set up and tear down. We did not have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying our special day. While planning our wedding over the course of the last year and a half Carolina has become more just our wedding planner — we are truly lucky to call her a friend! -

I don’t even know where to begin with Carolina… When my husband and I knew that we wanted to get married out of New York and out of the states we knew Mexico especially the W hotel in PUNTA MITA would be where we would celebrate! We had visited in the past and fell in love with everything to do with that part of Mexico and that hotel … Planning a wedding is difficult anywhere but planning on it is different country is a whole other ball game. Although I am very type-a and I love to plan things thoroughly, and I’m very organized -there is no way I would be able to pull off finding the perfect vendors, florists, all the special features that i want to incorporate in our wedding without hiring Carolina . from the moment that we started chatting through FaceTime I knew She was the one! Conversing with her was like talking with a friend… Easily talking through WhatsApp and emails almost every single day until we met in February 2022 in person at the hotel to do a walk-through! She was just as amazing in person as she is through the phone and she was so thorough going through her plan, what we wanted the day of, all the features and really trying to embody both Steve and I and my vision for the day! Being as organized as I am I have course send her all of my visions of amazing tables with pompous grass and candles very BoHo chic! We had sent collages back-and-forth to each other and I knew I was an amazing hands. She helped us soup to nuts with everything and anything we could think of and I could’ve imagined! Carolina helped organize music for a welcome dinner which happened to be my now husband‘s 40th birthday party, she helped organize and touch base with every single vendor we had, helped with the welcome bags and did literally every and anything in between. I truly have no words to describe our wedding. It was straight out of a movie and a fairytale combined… Every single thing I envisioned in my head and on my Pinterest board she made come to life times 10! I cannot recommend her enough ! I wish I could get married to Steve over and over again just to have her plan our amazing day! Highly recommend working with Carolina!
Our wedding would not have happened if it wasn’t for Carolina. She was there to guide us from start to finish and help us with all of the logistics of the wedding planning process, and all of the design choices of our wedding. We know that we were a needy couple and had a lot of requests, but Carolina stuck with us, and was always so kind in every interaction. She locally sourced all of our flowers and vendors for our wedding, and even made our dreams come true with helping us to get custom Talavera shot glasses made for our welcome shot wall. Carolina was there on the day of our wedding to also help with setting everything up and vendor coordination. She even worked on her birthday to help our wedding go off without a hitch. Carolina is top notch!
Wow. It's hard to describe how wonderful our experience with Carolina was! She is incredibly talented and loves what she does. We truly didn't have to worry about a thing. She was incredibly responsive at any time of day or night throughout the entire planning process, kept us on track when we needed to make decisions and submit payments. Even with last minute changes and stress because of covid, Carolina planned and executed our dream wedding. We will never forget it! We both wish we could get married again so we could have the experience all over again. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The venue, photographer, food, hair and makeup vendors that Carolina shared with us turned out to be top notch. She knows so many top people in the business. She won't steer you wrong. Best Decision Ever!
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start, but I will start off saying that hiring Carolina Almazan was the best decision we made in our wedding planning. Our wedding planning started in early 2020, and Carolina was with us every step of the way. We flew to Puerto Vallarta to meet her (right before the pandemic hit) and we spent two days touring different hotels/venues. Carolina prepared a touring agenda with places we selected, and places she recommended. She was very knowledgeable with the industry offering pros/cons of each location, and really spent time getting to know us as a couple as well. Once we selected a venue, Carolina offered advice when it came to contract negotiations, schedule, and was always available to answer our questions. In the summer of 2020, we decided it was best to postpone our wedding to the following year, and Carolina made this process as seamless as possible. Once we finally began planning again, it was game time! Carolina went ABOVE and BEYOND in all areas. She was with us in all meetings with the venue for the wedding, making sure no details were missed. She stepped in to direct our rehearsal when the coordinator was not available. She assisted with shopping for items for our welcome bags, and assembly along with her amazing assistant Sony. She totally EXCEEDED my expectations for the wedding decor. Everything was picture perfect, every detail well thought out, and even threw in some extras! This day would not have been able to happen without her help, and it was the best decision we made HANDS DOWN. Carolina was the best wedding planner we could have ever asked for, and not only that, but she is an amazing and kind person through and through. We not only gained a wedding planner, but also a friend :) I can probably keep going but I will end it here with saying, if you are looking for a wedding planner, Carolina is your person! Her personality is kind, calm, and positive, which made her wonderful and comforting to work with. She would make suggestions, but always deferred to what we wanted. Carolina very quickly understood my daughters’ sense of style and where we provided direction, she took Alex's ideas and thoughts and the results were beyond our expectations. It was the most amazing combination of elegance and celebration!
My daughter was married at the St. Regis in Punta Mita, Mexico. We are located on both the east and west coast of the United States. Planning a wedding through emails, text, phone, and videos can certainly be challenging, but Carolina led us through a flawless 9 months. She coordinated an event planning trip to the St. Regis prior to the wedding and took care of every detail. Not only did she arrange an onsite meeting with every vendor, she also prepared an actual wedding table set up for us to view. She had a great reputation and relationship with Yara our St. Regis event planner as well. We returned to the states knowing 1st hand that we had made the right decision in choosing Carolina.
The actual wedding day was amazing, but what we appreciated the most was her positivity and passion which was visible in every aspect of the wedding. Working with her was a true pleasure! -

No review could properly capture how incredibly wonderful Carolina Almazan and her team is at planning your dream wedding!!! I was referred to Carolina by another couple in the states who sang her praises and now I know why! Before we hired Carolina we had already selected our venue (W Punta Mita) which offered us a complimentary wedding coordinator to help with the wedding. We actually thought seriously about not hiring a planner to save money but I quickly realized how much goes into planning a wedding and how necessary it is to have someone who is fully dedicated and invested in your special day. So i started searching instagram for pictures of weddings I liked, and was able to connect with another bride who hired Carolina. From that day on, Carolina became part of our family. She was an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end. I am SOOO thankful for her! So if you're looking for a planner, let me just tell you that Carolina has been doing weddings in the Puerto Vallarta/Punta Mita area for years and knows everyone. And everyone loves working with her. She knows all the options available, the best suppliers, how to get the best prices, and how most importantly how to execute. Her ability to execute is what amazes me the most. You tell her something and she never forgets it and always follows through to make it happen. It amazed me. So I definitely recommend that if you have a dream for your wedding, reach out to Carolina and she will be with you every step of the way to make it happen.
Full disclosure our wedding is actually postponed due to Covid-19. We had everything 100% planned and ready to go (because Carolina is amazing like that) so changing the date was the easiest thing - i didn't have to lift a finger. So once we have our wedding I will post photos and an updated review!! -

Amaaaazing Carolina
What can we say about Carolina Almazan. As 2 LA based people unsure if we wanted to get married with a "thing", have a beach wedding in Malibu or runaway to Punta de Mita, we met with her on a weekend getaway - JUUST to get a sense of what's possible and how hard/expensive a wedding in Mexico would be. Neither of us knew what it takes to pull off a destination wedding but we liked the idea of it.
Carolina came to our hotel, was totally prepared, and put us totally at ease. So much so, that we deemed this easier than a wedding in our own backyard... in Mexico vs our hometown. But this was so much cooler. So we pulled the trigger, and found that she was ready to start planning immediately. This woman will work for you tirelessly until you have absolute perfection. Every vision executed. And every detailed attended to. While we knew we wanted something low key, there were some specifics that we had and traditions we wanted to forgo. But our wildest dreams couldn't imagine what we experienced that day. She brought it all to life, we still cant believe how smooth everything went. She found and locked in every vendor. She negotiated every contract. She gave us photos, videos, and Facetime looks at every single detail. Her team's execution was flawless. We chose not to have a bridal party yet were worried about not having a anyone to run errands - but our closest guests truly felt like guests because her team had every detail covered.
She was responsive in almost daily calls/texts planning out her ideas - from locally sourced welcome gifts to finding pool toys for my nephews. Her vendors were all spot on and she was able to negotiate great pricing that kept us under budget! So we spent our money on the things that mattered to us.
Carolina has become part of our family. She embraced our family and friends and made them all feel at home in Mexico. We will stay in touch for years to come! We love you Carolina! -

I have dreamed about my wedding day since I was a little girl..... I knew that I wanted that day to be the best of my life and I had high expectations of how I wanted it to be, but also, I was not living in Puerto Vallarta at the time and trying to plan it was going to be hard. I also knew that when the day came I wanted to enjoy it and not worry about anything.
That is when I found Carolina, the best wedding planner ever! Since our first call we instantly clicked and I was surprised by her approachability and knowledge. She understood perfectly what I wanted and she worked very hard to structurize all my ideas and tell me what would work and what not. This made it way easier for me.
Trying to plan a wedding long distance is hard, but with Carolina it was a piece of cake! I felt so confident that everything was going to be great. She also told me a lot of things that were really important in the process of planning a wedding that I had no idea so she was a life saver.
When the day came I can only say that Carolina made sure that it was the best day of our lives! Everything was just as I had dreamed it and even better! I cannot express how grateful I am for the incredible wedding planning services provided by Carolina and her team! From the very first consultation to the last moments shared at our destination wedding in Punta Mita, Mexico, she exceeded all our expectations and made our special day absolutely magical.
