    After visiting several venues in and around the Orlando area, we immediately knew that Caribe Royale was the perfect spot for our daughters wedding.

    Within the first few minutes of touring Caribe and meeting with the event manager, we noticed that at Caribe is was all about the Bride and Groom and accommodating them and their wishes. It was very different from other venues that we mostly heard "we dont do that" or "that will be extra." The packages that Caribe offered were amazing! The food was incredible and the friendliness of the entire staff was unmatched. Every tiny detail that we could have dreamed of was met with smiles and warmth. The surprises kept coming as the week went on with special room decor and treats for the bride and groom. The entire wedding event was not stressful and we would not have changed a thing! Caribe could not have done anything more to be the absolute perfect wedding venue.

    AMAZING! Can’t say enough!!

    We had our wedding at this venue, November 2022 and I couldn’t tell you how quick I fell in love with this place! Our event coordinator Taresa was AMAZING!! Had a blast working with her and she worked with us and helped us with all the questions we had during our planning process! She became like family after working with her for 10 months! The new Palms ballroom is breathtaking! ( where my wedding and reception was held) also, throughout the weekend my family who stayed on property kept talking about how spacious and cozy the rooms are. I highly recommend this venue! The staff is amazing and I can’t say enough about Taresa!

    Perfect Wedding Experience

    We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at the Caribe Royale from start to finish. The wedding team was amazing, so kind and cared so much about our special day. The planning process was so easy with the hotel and the day of I couldn’t have felt more at home. Best day of my life! Highly recommend!

    The best wedding venue in orlando

    The catering team at the Caribe Royale made my wedding the most incredible day of my life. They catered to my every need and made the planning process seamless. I could not recommend them more! By far the best wedding venue in Orlando & Central Florida!

    Well worth the wait!

    Our wedding was cancelled on three occasions and this event was a long time coming. The caribe did not disappoint!

    The most magical experience!

    My situation is a very rare unique one. My husband and I came to Teresa, the Director of Catering at Caribe with a very emotional crisis on our hands. Our venue called us 30 days out cancelling on us due to "unexpected construction" Our wedding was on a holiday, NYE. So we were left very upset thinking we would never find a new venue and get everything moved over within 30 days. But then we found Teresa, and she saved our wedding, LITERALLY! She took everything we had already set in stone at our previous venue and completely matched everything in our contract which took the stress of us completely! Not only did we simply have a new venue to get married at, this venue and Teresa was everything we could have dreamt of. From the rehearsal, to the day of, to just accommodating every single one of my guest we had ZERO COMPLAINTS. With any little obstacle / problem the day of the wedding, Teresa was right there working with my coordinator to resolve it immediately! Teresa took us in and made us feel so comfortable, stress free, and helped give us the wedding of our dreams! :)

    Best wedding location & food

    I attended a wedding on November 28th and it was the best experience. I enjoyed the beautiful ballrooms and the service was outstanding. Will definitely recommend to my other friends, btw - the food was delicious!

    Beautiful Venue

    Teresa is very knowledgeable regarding Indian weddings. She and her staff took extra care to make the event more beautiful and successful.
    Both hotel and ball rooms are in one location, made things easy for us and for our guests.

    We recommend the Hotel to our friends and families because it is ideal for Indian weddings in Central Florida.

    Stunning Venue, Amazing Staff!

    We celebrated our special day at Caribe Royale on October 3, 2021! We and our guests had such a great time! It was everything we could have wished for!

    We had a small wedding, about 50 people, so we booked their Antigua room which was perfect for our small ceremony. They have so many room options of all styles and sizes to accommodate small to large events, like their main ballroom, which is gorgeous for those having super large events. They allowed us to use our own decorations, which was a huge plus, as I’m a hands-on bride and our wedding theme was “Disney & Halloween.”

    The entire staff were amazing! Our coordinator Giselle Peralta was an absolute dream to work with. She was beyond attentive, knowledgeable, organized, detail-oriented, and so prompt. She genuinely shared in our enthusiasm, making the planning process so exciting and stress-free. We are beyond grateful to her for being there every step of the way, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

    The cocktail hors d’oeuvres and plated meals were to die for! For the reception dinner, we requested an authentic Argentine dish for the groom’s meal and an authentic Cuban dish for the bride’s meal. The chef knocked it out of the park! The guests kept telling us how amazing and delicious all the food was throughout the night.

    The venue itself has tons of places to take photos indoors and outdoors, including a gorgeous grand staircase in the lobby. Our photographer was so happy with the options for our shoot, and lighting was perfect. All together, the resort and convention center were top of the line, so beautiful and spacious. We wouldn’t change a thing, what a perfect day!

    Better than I ever imagined!

    We got married 1/9/20 at Caribe Royale in Orlando FL. We’re from Michigan so we were doing everything via phone/email and putting our trust in Elisabet & Giselle. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out! The food was absolutely amazing, the venue was beautiful, and I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Elisabet and Giselle were so kind and SO helpful. They were always quick to respond to my many emails and were so attentive the day of the wedding. We planned on switching hotels the day after the wedding to be closer to Disney Springs, but when we arrived at the new destination, it was not what we were expecting. I called Giselle in a panic and she got us right back into Caribe Royale for the remainder of our stay. Thank you Giselle! All of our guests LOVED Caribe Royale and plan on returning for another vacation!

    The best part of our vendor team

    Caribe Royale was the first reception venue we physically toured out of 5 other places (with research and online tours of dozens more) over a span of a month. What made Caribe stand apart at the end of the day wasn't that gorgeous staircase in the lobby (though it was close second), it was Ashley. His honesty, compassion and knowledge of the wedding industry made the world of difference. Every communication with him just completely put this anxious bride at ease. Ashley and Hannah were incredible to work with from start to finish and we are so thankful for all of their work to make our wedding day so beautiful.

    P.S. Their vendor list is also top notch! We ended up hiring all our vendors, save for my makeup artist, from the Caribe's preferred vendor list. We loved working with every single one of them!

    We had the pleasure of having our wedding reception at the Caribe Royale and it was absolutely AMAZING! Both Ashley and Alex helped plan our wedding reception making our planning stress free and relaxing. We could not have asked for more from them. We travelled from the UK with some of our family and friends and everyone commented on how amazing the venue is and how lovely the wedding meal was. Our wedding reception was very private with a cash bar inside the room so our guests could buy drinks without going to the main bars in the venue. Ashley went that extra mile and even borrowed us a Bluetooth speaker from home!

    We could not have asked for anything more it was completely amazing

    Ashley and R.J from the Caribe Royale of Orlando were amazing. My husband and I celebrated our 10th year Vow Renewal and Ashley and R.J made our day very special. We were traveling from Maryland to Orlando, and they accomodated our every need. I would definitely entrust them for your wedding and Anniversary accommodations.They are the Best!!!!!!!!!!

    We used this hotel for our out-of-town guest accommodations and where Bryan and I stayed a couple of nights around the wedding. The management staff made planning/blocking rooms easy and were so accommodating. We were able to have welcome bags handed out at the front desk as guests checked in and even though it was a holiday (Easter) weekend everyone had the room they chose. The main pool is a blast and where we all hung out the day before the wedding as family came into town. The villa pool is really nice too and a perfect, much quieter place to chill. Despite the number of people there the grounds were kept very clean and the rooms were elegant. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Disney and restaurants and other attractions were easily accessibly.

    Perfect Pre Wedding Party

    The Caribe Royale Resort did a phenomenal job on executing the welcome party that we wanted to have for our guest the day before our wedding! The employees were very friendly and responsive to all of our questions in regards to food, setup, music and the bar! Would highly recommend to anybody that is looking to host an event there!

    Decent Experience

    Overall, we had a decent experience with the Caribe Royale for our wedding reception. The actual reception ended up going off with minimal issues, and everyone seemed to have a great time. We've attempted to categorize our experience by pros\cons.


    Pros: The food options were top notch, and the alcohol was of higher quality than most of the other venues we considered. The pastry chef made an amazing custom cake that perfectly captured our design vision. The room setup was great. There were some beautiful lights added to the ceiling that really enhanced the look of the room. (We rented uplights from our DJ separately) The actual hotel and amenities are wonderful for all guests staying on property, and the villas were amazing. (We really loved the large tub in the bedroom) Finally, the venue fee actually pays for a 3rd party wedding coordinator.


    Cons: We had a number of communication issues starting at the very beginning of the process. Often times, it would be several days before an email would be answered, and many times questions in an email would not be directly answered until later. Availability of the staff can often be limited as they seem to be away from an actual desk for long periods of time due to coordinating events out on the floor. Food tastings are typically conducted 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date. For us, this was not far enough in advance. We needed to send invitations out, so we gave a generic beef\fish choice before even tasting anything. At the food tasting, we chose the Chivari chair style that we wanted (silver as that was part of our wedding colors). A few weeks prior to the reception, we were contacted by the Caribe, and were told that the rental company didn't have enough of the chairs available. (We had to switch to crystal) The crystal ended up looking fine, but you would think a backup vendor would have been an option. Nice looking menu cards were printed by the Caribe for the reception. However, they were printed with the wrong month. We purchased flowers and made our own table centerpieces. Since our actual ceremony was at a different location (across town), it was extremely logistically difficult to deliver the arrangements in the time frame required. (If you have a florist performing delivery, this will likely not be an issue for you. Also, if you are having the wedding ceremony on site, this will likely not be an issue for you.) Finally, we had a number of guests that could not attend at the last minute. A few of our wedding party members wanted to try both entrees (which had already been paid for), so we told them to set out the name placards for those guests. However, they were told if the guests were not present, no meal would be brought out. (We didn't get a discount for them, so we were a bit irritated that we weren't able to use them.)

    Other: Please be aware that the rooms at the Caribe have minimum levels of food and beverage spend. You must agree to a minimum spend in order to book specific rooms. This means that you need to have a fairly good idea of your guest count in order to lock in a room for a specific date. This was not clear to us at the beginning, so it complicated getting a room booked. (as we had a fairly wide range of potential attendees based on the invitations that we planned to send out)

    Wedding horror!

    Please don’t let the glamour of a resort sway your decision to have your wedding at Caribe; when we started planning our wedding, we too thought “oh wow”, Caribe Royale would be a dazzling location for our wedding. We were originally planning the whole wedding with a former catering sales manager, Ashley, who kept us at ease and was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. Two months before our wedding, he left Caribe, and our nightmare began. In comes the new catering sales Manger, Elisabet. She was not at all helpful nor the least bit hospitable towards us, even with our wedding two months away!

    Elements of our wedding that Ashley had promised us were not on the contract and signed for, but it was in his notes on our file. Forget honoring his documented promises, she refused to even look through his notes. Any time we would ask her for a favor, she would repeat the same words, “it’s not in the contract”. Her style of management may be that everything must be in the contract, however, how stubborn must someone be to be appointed a new position and force a current client to follow their rules of doing business? That’s why we have the term “Transition”, there should be some sort of sensitivity/leniency towards a client switching between two completely different sales managers. Especially with our wedding being two months away; this disturbing behavior can only be attributed to sheer inexperience in the field of catering.

    Furthermore, when we would talk to her managers with her, she would never try to help us, but would rather try to steer them from saying “yes” to us over the simplest things! She seems to forget she’s in the wedding industry; not on the finance team of a fortune 500 company trying to secure the most profitable deal. At this time, my finace and I started panicking because everything went from seamless and simple to unbearably difficult dealing with Elisabet who was not the slightest bit compassionate to us. For her it was all about the dollar signs and how to make our life miserable; honestly, the sheer disregard for our emotions during what should be a beautiful wedding process was again, disgusting. Every phone call from her was picked up with horrific anticipation and the only thing she had to say was that we can’t have something or the other for our wedding.

    Unfortunately, the story only gets uglier; on the day of our food tasting, she had us taste the food that they were going to serve for our cocktail hour. After the food tasting we had a phone conversation with my dad and Elisabet Bleck where she was laughing at my dad because he requested items, this was very unprofessional on her part and again, proved to us she was inexperienced and had blatant disregard for our emotions. However, the food seemed fine at the tasting, there was chicken, steak, pork chops, and shrimp, but guess what? On the day of our wedding, what they provided was eggrolls, quiche, samosa, and other varieties of frozen food that can easily be thrown in the oven and cooked. Speechless…

    Three to four days before our wedding (when we should be relaxing and getting ready for the big day), I get a call from Elisabet saying we cannot have the fog machine or sparklers at our wedding because it was a “fire hazard” and we would have to get a permit from the fire Marshall if we wanted it. I have no idea why out of nowhere, after looking over our files for two months, she would tell us this three days before our wedding. By this point, we already paid the vendors for sparklers and a fog machine (the fog machine and the sparklers are water based and does not create heat or actual smoke). After paying the fire marshall over $800 for last minute fees, on the day of our wedding, they said we cannot have the sparklers at the wedding. Furthermore, Elisabet and her assistant messed up the timing for the fire marshall and thus, another loss for our dream wedding.

    Let’s now talk about what was in our contract (it’s almost comical at this point). On the day of our wedding, during cocktail hours, we were promised in our contract Remy Martin, Black Label and Grey Goose as well as other liquor brands. They said they never got their shipment of Remy Martin; how does a resort of this caliber run out of a brand when they knew we needed it for our wedding! Furthermore, if your client is paying extra for a specific brand of alcohol, are you seriously going to say, “Oh well, the shipment didn’t come in” or are you going to go out of your way to find a local supplier In order to stay true to your “contract”? We can keep going on the subject of alcohol; they never put Black Label out until our dads had to find Elisabet and tell her to put it out. She obliged since it was in the “contract”, but was extremely rude to both of our parents in the process.

    If the night couldn’t get any worse, the bartenders were extremely rude to the guests and called one of my cousins a bit**; my cousins spoke to the manager and he didn’t even care to hear what they had to say. Other bartenders were disrespectful of our guests as well, saying “you can’t drink any other brand but this?”. I will be attaching a picture of a drink a guest received with a dead bug in it. Both of us (the bride and groom) were entering to the song “Shots” and Elisabet was supposed to have a tray of shots for the whole bridal party on the dance floor when we entered, but she did not do that. Moreover, Elisabet was supposed to be at our reception as a coordinator from when the cocktail hour started to when the dance floor opened up, which was around 10 PM. She had been missing since 6:30 PM and when we told two of her fellow employees we need to talk to her, they paged her and told her we needed her, but once again, Elisabet never showed up and didn’t honor her own words (guess it wasn’t in the contract). I’m also guessing when she realized guests were angry and her catering skills had failed her, she ran away in the middle of our wedding; I do not know how such an amateur, inexperienced, insensitive individual can be the catering manager of a resort let alone a corner motel. Needless to say, we felt and continue to feel cheated and mislead.
