Beautiful Wedding
Everything came out just like we wanted it to. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to visit Cancun before our wedding so we only went by Joss’s recommendation which can be hard to trust someone with your big special day. From the resort to the smallest details everything came out amazing, she did a great job knowing what was important to us and stayed in our budget. This was a little over a year of planning but we stayed connected till we landed in Cancun. Another bonus is she also helped us plan other group activities through out our stay in Cancun. There is nothing I would change, and I am very thankful to have had Unique Weddings help me create my dream wedding 💜 These are the moments that matter the most and you will not get them back. -

Wedding Planner review
OK let me start by saying WOW! If you are thinking of hiring a Wedding Planner. JOSS and her Team are your people!. YES the answer is YES, YES its worth it. Let me start by saying I received nothing but professionalism from her since our first DM. I found her on Instagram. My wedding was planned less than a year. I sent Joss my clear vision and she was quick to deliver and what was important to me was options. Her advice, opinion and her creativity was everything because I'm not creative at all. She also knows everyone! if you are looking for a specific vendor, she knows them, and the best ones too!, Joss only works/networks with quality people. We had several zoom calls and as the months went on we spoke more and more. The day of my wedding she took CHARGE like no other which is what I wanted. Took charge with the vendors, guests, DJ, our schedule, everything. My ceremony was scheduled to be outside on the beach and our reception in the ballroom. while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready it started pouring outside every 15 min or so. She recommended for us to not chance it and to move the ceremony Indoors. Due to the change in weather everything had to be moved and rearranged. We were running about 20 min behind on schedule but if it wasn't for Joss and her team we would have been running an hour or more behind schedule. She Knows how to delegate let me just say!. She made sure my reception ran smoothly and also helped me with my dress and hair when I needed it. She truly is the fairy god mother of your big day. It would be an understatement to say that our wedding planning was not going well before Joss got involved. We were dealing with some below par customer service from our venue, and then all of a sudden things began to fall into place when we hired Joss. She truly was the glue that made everything come together. Her patience, commitment, hard work, and attitude allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams and we could not be more grateful to Joss and her team. From the start of the planning process through the final minute of our wedding day, she was there to set up every zoom call, answer every question, and apply pressure to those that needed pressure applied. On top of everything she did to help our wedding dream come true, we feel we have gained a friend for life in Joss. She truly is a wonderful human being as well as a brilliant and committed wedding planner!! Don't think twice if you are considering hiring her and her team. -

Wedding of my dreams, come true!
To some, a wedding is the best day of their life, but for us it was a dream come true. Joss and her team are fantastic to say the least. This review is long overdue but our wedding was March 5, 2022. When I started looking at venues, I found Joss on Instagram and absolutely loved her style and work. She was quick to respond to my inquiry - in the same day! We chatted and she understood my requests; shortly thereafter she was hired! I couldn't have made a better decision. While I had the venue picked before contracting her, the bonus was she knew the coordinators at my desired venue which made everything so much easier. As a project coordinator I was involved in the details and I loved that she shared her wisdom on some decisions I had no prior knowledge in. Her vendor selection is excellent. In fact, I knew she was *for me* when I had done my own research on a makeup artist before I had decided on a wedding planner and low and behold, she sent me the exact one I had considered! Talk about high quality. Even though we didn't visit the vendor prior (due to covid restrictions) she did a visit in person and sent us all the photos, details from the coordinator and assured us that it was the perfect choice. Not only did she plan our wedding to a better version than we had imagined but she went above and beyond for my special performance. I planned on surprising my husband with a serenata on our wedding day and she made it happen. It moved my husband to tears and all the wedding guests were in awe. Even my mother in law who is the most particular person ever to please, said the wedding was perfect. For any future bride that is considering hiring this planner, you won't regret it. She mitigates risks constantly which as a project coordinator - I love! We can honestly say, she made our dreams come true and we consider her to be a close friend which we hope to see on our anniversary. Thank you Joss and team for making every bride's dream more than possible!! -

Joss & her ENTIRE team are truly angels on Earth for MANY reasons. They are extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, organized and treat you like family. They are incredibly supportive and have they create a personalized strategy for your full wedding experience. We live in Arizona and I never imagined I wouldn't visit the location before the wedding, but we didn't because we didn't have to. Joss & her team sent us videos, pictures, multiple options and made it ALL work. We rented a huge private catamaran for our guest as a welcome party and they were there the entire time. The day of the wedding, I am SURE there were a few issues but guess what? We knew NONE of them, Joss & team made it truly a blissful experience. They coordinated with the hotel to ensure all of our 100 guests had a positive experience during their stay. Joss & team were available to us all the time and ensured us we'd have nothing to worry about and they were 100% correct - we have ZERO worries. THANK YOU Joss & Team - we love you so much and cannot wait to hire you again for our future anniversaries. Sending you all of our love always! Best Wedding Planner Ever!!!
We started our wedding planning process by interviewing several planners with Joss being one of them. As soon as we got off of our call with Joss, we immediately knew she was the best planner for us. We could not explain why but we both clicked with her immediately and knew she understood our vision. At the start of our process we never expected to also find a friend in our wedding planner, but we did with Joss! We planned our wedding for nearly two years and Joss was always in constant communication with us. She mapped out every step of the wedding process for us and made planning a wedding, from afar, so easy. We actually miss talking to her almost daily. Our wedding, from the venue to the welcome party to the chapel ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception was more than a dream come true! Our dream wedding was to have a religious chapel ceremony with a beautiful formal reception on the beach. While we did have our wedding at an all-inclusive report (Paradisus Cancun), we did not use one of their ballrooms. Joss helped us build our own ballroom on the beach. She also did amazing with coordinating such a large bridal party (18 total) for rehearsal and wedding day. Joss even helped us coordinate airport transportation, transportation to an off-site rehearsal dinner and chapel, and a post-wedding catamaran trip. Joss and her team literally do it all and are experts at their job. Highly recommend Joss and her team to all couples looking for a wedding planner who will be there for you every step of the way!Cancun Unique Weddings's reply:

Our dream wedding accomplished!
My Fiance and I made it very clear to each other that we wanted to have a wedding experience that felt more like a family reunion/vacation. We wanted to be present for all the moments and feel relaxed and happy during our events. We had all these ideas in our minds but executing them was outside our capability. Bringing Joss into our team was a game-changer. She is extremely responsive, well connected, knowledgeable and professional. She was always on our side and communicated promptly and effectively with all playing parts making our wedding so seamless and hassle free. We feel so grateful to have had the ability to make quality memories with all our favorite people knowing confidently our events were well prepared for and taken care of. Joss made our wedding experience lovely and meaningful. She is an expert and what she does, and we recommend her highly without hesitations. -

Better than Perfect
Our experience working with Joss Morales was amazing. Getting married in a foreign is intimidating to say the least. Joss made it totally painless and easy. Every detail was handled. But she literally saved us from unexpected very serious weather problems. We both landed in Cancun in a tropical storm. Three days later, hurricane Delta was predicted to make landfall in Cancun as a Category 4 hurricane. Our hotel called us at 7 am the morning the hurricane was due and said we had to evacuate. I had no idea what we should do so I called Joss. Her advice was to take a taxi to Merida and weather the storm there. She managed to book a nice hotel for us, get us a driver and we spend three quiet days in Merida. We just had rain. Cancun had some damage and the city lost power for a few days. Despite this, Joss managed to get us back to Cancun and booked us in an even nicer hotel and still put the wedding together replete with a gorgeous private dinner on the beach. She went way out of her way to take care of us. If I could give her ten stars I would. She is much more than a wedding planner. I would definitely seek her advice and help with my next Mexican vacation. -

Joss was hands down, incredible! I have zero complaints about our experience. We live in Texas and she was helping us plan our wedding in Cancun. We had a non traditional wedding and she totally went with the flow and captured exactly what we wanted. I really wasn't into flowers or first dances or garter toss, and she just went with it. I essentially said I wanted a very short ceremony and a huge party, and that's exactly what we got. The person she selected to perform our ceremony was great. It was short and sweet, just how we wanted it. She specializes in wedding planning but I would honestly want to use her for other future events! -

Joss & her team surpassed our expectations in every possible way- from food and decor to obtaining last minute gifts for our guests and having a solution for every bump that came up on the road to our *perfect* wedding. Joss kept us on time and organized and allowed us to have an unforgettable few days of heaven. I didn't feel any stress knowing she was on top of everything important to my groom and I. I would hire them over and over again. If there was something we wanted, Joss found a way to make it happen AND did so within our tight budget. I didn't feel we had to sacrifice a single thing, and our guests agree. They have all said its the best wedding experience they have EVER had :) memories for a lifetime, thank you Joss and Cancun Unique Weddings! -

We are so happy we chose Joss! She was so nice and sweet to work with. She is very knowledgeable and has amazing ideas. She’s very flexible and easy to work with. She will make sure that you get what you want by giving you different ideas, researching vendors, and communicating with you. Our wedding was off the resort we stayed and she accommodated our guests for transportation and everything they needed. She was open to suggestions and things that I brought over from the States. She was always moving during our wedding whether it was to help and supervise decorations, keep us on time, and communicating with our vendors. She tried her best to keep us on budget and was very clear on everything we had and would need. Definitely recommend her to be part of your wedding day!Cancun Unique Weddings's reply:

Critical local experience & stress free on the day
We got engaged in Tulum in January 2018, and only decided on our last day in Mexico that we wanted to come back there to get married... we knew there was a beautiful beach but had no idea what options there were for a wedding so knew we’d need help, especially organising it all from London!
Joss was friendly, flexible and understanding from day 1, working with our budget, changing requirements and all the small touches we wanted to include, as well as putting us in touch with her network of quality vendors and dealing directly with them where needed, which was crucial given many of them did not speak English! Others she put us in touch with to allow us to liaise but captured what we had agreed to ensure it was all done exactly as we’d asked.
On the day her team were exactly what we needed - they took away any stress by being professional and discrete and handling any questions or issues as they arose to ensure everything ran smoothly and we got to focus on enjoying the day.
We had nearly constant communication during the 12 months we spent planning, with emails at least on a weekly basis. I’m a Project Manager so I’m sure I was hard work for her trying to organise everything to the minor detail and making sure it was all documented, and we did have some times where there were some things either lost in translation or misunderstood which took a while to pin down. However we had occasional Skype sessions to run through outstanding questions and were able to sort a lot of things out more easily face to face. Considering the amount of time she spent working with us, her price was fantastic value for money and she was very friendly and welcoming to us when we arrived in Mexico.

When you read a lot of other amazing reviews out there on Joss, you'll see why it's so easy to write amazing things about her. She's unbelievable. We can officially confirm that all of the hype was real. Her dedication and investment to ensuring you are completely taken care of and treated like royalty during this process is second to none.
At the end of the entire process, it felt like she was another mother to us both. We miss her a ton already and everytime we emailed or spoke with her on the phone, we got so excited because she's such a pleasure to speak to and be around.
Anyone looking for a wedding planner who will guide you in the right direction, and makes this experience a positive one...you're in the perfect place. -

I wasn’t able to visit Cancun before my wedding but I had all my trust in Joss that she would handle everything for me. Hada Sent on 12/30/2017Joss and her team are amazing and extremely knowledgable at what they do! They make dreams come true... and then some! Being in the fashion industry myself, I had a pretty clear image of what I wanted for my wedding and Joss delivered just that. She listened, connected me to her reliable vendors, and facilitated the whole process. At first I did have some doubts, considering I found her online from the US and she's in Mexico. I've heard horror stories about long distance wedding planners so I asked for for some proof of her legitimacy. Again, she was very understanding and told me is ABC certified (ABC cert. #: CWP17031348). I did more research and felt confident enough to move forward. Another point I want to make is that I had the impression that a planner would do it all and was a tad bit thrown off when she'd offer me options of vendors and left it up to me to talk to each one. Although it was more work for me going through ea. vendor and asking all the questions multiple times, I immediately appreciated the options because I had total control of everything. I decided who took my photos, who made my floral arrangements, etc... I loved the entire process that took about 10+/- months to plan. For the entire time, Joss was guiding my through giving me updates on what's missing and what's done, giving me time checks, managing my budget. She was so considerate of the original budget I, from the get-go, told her I needed to maintain. I can go on and on, but in summary: She and her team are amazing and delivered way more than I dreamed of! Highly recommended!
