If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, let this be your sign to go with CaboBeach Weddings.
My husband and I planned a destination wedding in Cabo with nearly 75 guests, hotel block, multiple events, countless vendors, custom details, and a vision that included everything from custom Talavera-inspired décor and exceptionally bright florals to personalized welcome events and a larger than life rooftop reception(fireworks!). Looking back, I genuinely don’t know how we would have pulled it off without her.
From the very beginning, our planning team made us feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the entire planning process. We work with Gris specifically and she was organized, responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions or offer guidance. Whenever something felt overwhelming, she had a solution.
What impressed me most was how much she cared about bringing our vision to life. She didn’t just execute a checklist—she understood what was important to us and helped create an experience that felt uniquely ours. Every detail came together beautifully, from the guest experience to the décor, timeline, vendor coordination, and all of the little touches that made the wedding feel personal.
The real magic happened during the wedding week.
While I was spending time with family and friends who had traveled to Cabo to celebrate with us, she was behind the scenes making sure every vendor was where they needed to be, every timeline was running smoothly, and every detail was exactly where it belonged. She handled things before they became problems and managed everything with such professionalism and grace that I never once felt stressed.
On our wedding day, I was able to fully enjoy every moment. I wasn’t answering vendor questions. I wasn’t checking timelines. I wasn’t worried about setup, transportation, décor, or logistics. I was simply a bride getting to soak in one of the best days of my life.
One of the things I appreciated most was how calm she remained throughout everything. No matter what was happening behind the scenes, she made us feel like everything was under control and running perfectly.
Now that we’re receiving our photos and videos back, I’m realizing just how much work went into making the day feel so effortless. Everything looked beautiful, flowed seamlessly, and allowed us and our guests to simply enjoy the celebration.
The greatest gift she gave us wasn’t just a beautiful wedding, it was peace of mind. She allowed us to be fully present for moments we will remember forever. My family kept checking in with me leading up to the wedding and they were shocked by how calm I was and I attributed all of that to Gris and the planning team.
If you’re getting married in Cabo and want someone who is organized, thoughtful, experienced, professional, and genuinely invested in your wedding as if it were her own, stop searching and book with CaboBeach Weddings. It was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding journey.

If I could give Cabo Beach Weddings and Patty 100 stars, I would. Planning a destination wedding from the U.S. could have been incredibly overwhelming, but Patty made the entire process feel effortless. From our very first conversation, she was organized, responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life.
Every detail was handled with so much care, from coordinating vendors and answering our endless questions to making sure our wedding weekend ran seamlessly. On the wedding day, I never once had to worry about logistics because I knew Patty had everything under control. She anticipated needs before they even arose and made sure both my husband and I were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment.
Our wedding exceeded every expectation we had, and so much of that is thanks to Patty and the Cabo Beach Weddings team. They are true professionals, incredibly kind people, and absolute experts at what they do. If you're planning a wedding in Cabo, do yourself a favor and book them immediately. My husband and I planned our destination wedding virtually and having the help of our planner, Magda, saved us! She was so knowledgeable of the local vendors, options, and was there to help us make any decisions we had questions about. My planner would send introduction emails with potential vendors I wanted to get quotes from, this helped to immediately know I was taken care of and the vendors all seemed to have great working relationships with Magda and the team at Cabo Beach Weddings. Not a single detail was missed in our planning and prep process, they are so thorough.
Day of the wedding, her team was INCREDIBLE! They were always ahead of the ball and made the whole day feel seamless. I would highly recommend hiring Cabo Beach Weddings! -

Cabo Beach Weddings (and specifically our planner Laurissa) truly planned the wedding of our dreams. My husband and I would highly recommend CBW to any couple looking to plan a wedding in Cabo.
Laurissa had a deep knowledge of venues, vendors and everything in between. As a couple planning a destination wedding in an unfamiliar area, it can be quite intimidating to start planning the big day. From the consultation process to the finished product, Laurissa and team were absolutely essential in every part of the process.
When looking for a planner, we were looking for someone with great local relationships, calm under pressure, and attention to detail. Laurissa had this in spades, and her careful planning was a big part of why our special day was so special. 10/10 would recommend. -

Hiring Cabo Beach Weddings was the best decision we could have made. They were with us every step of the way and made planning a destination wedding feel like a breeze. Any concerns I had were immediately addressed which made me feel incredibly confident going into my wedding day with this team by my side. My senior planner, Magda, was truly a god send. She was so dedicated and responsive and made it feel like my wedding was the only one she was working on when I'm sure she was also planning many other weddings at the same time. The day of the wedding, I was paired with America who stayed by my side the entire time. She was absolutely amazing. Sort of felt like I had my own secret service agent. I would highly recommend them if you plan to get married in Cabo! -

As a planner during my day job (that is literally my profession :) ), I knew I had wanted to hire a planner once my now husband and I were deciding to plan a destination wedding. I had interviewed other planners and CBW had came as a recommendation from another fellow bride through a friend who just had their wedding in Cabo. After interviewing other planners, once I hopped on a call with Christina, I knew I wanted to work with CBW from how quick and throuogh her follow-up was from our call. Patricia (Patty) was my assigned planner and I could NOT have done this without her (and Christina's!) guidance. We have never seen our wedding venue in person and relied on CBW's recommendations and expertise. We are happy to report that our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We felt like the stars of our own movie and all of our guests said it is the best wedding they have been to to date! CBW was honest with their recommendations and were always so quick to respond when I had my morning decompression time before going to work to gather my thoughts about the wedding. From the venue selection to the food tasting to the vendor selections, we really owe it to CBW for their organization, vendor management and their knowledge. Our welcome dinner on the beach with sparklers and our wedding day from the donkey that I wanted at our cocktail hour to cold sparklers for our first dance and fireworks on the beach to conclude the dance to our last minute photobooth request and last minute floral request for the welcome dinner, could NOT have went without a hitch all thanks to CBW and the team (my dress bustle button even came off during the wedding and CBW was prepared to sew the button back on!). If you're looking for a planner and especially in Cabo area, don't look any further and just book with CBW, I promise you will NOT regret it at all. I did not have to sweat one bit about the logistics and coming from a bride who had never seen our wedding venue or tasted our wedding dinner prior to the time of to showing up the day before for a site visit, we had THE BEST time of our lives and our guests having the same testament, that speaks volumes to CBW's professionalism and expertise. -

The team at CBW took care of every single detail of our wedding with the utmost care and professionalism. We aren't very decisive as a couple, and needed to defer to their expertise and recommendations on quite a few things, and they were always so gracious and thoughtful with how they approached working with us. We got married in January at the JW Marriott and the CBW team was absolutely incredible. We started the planning process with our planner, Patty a year and half prior and she made the whole planning process a breeze. From finding us the perfect vendors, coordinating site visits/tastings and making our vision come to life she did it ALL! On wedding day, the whole team was professional, timely and had every detail accounted for. The whole process and weekend was completely stress free. Amazing experience!
Using Cabo Beach Weddings was the best decision we made for our wedding. We got to work with Magda and she was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, very well organized, and professional. The vendor selection process was so easy, and you can’t go wrong with anyone they recommend.
We got to experience a wedding shortly after that was organized by a wedding package resort, and there was a stark difference in experience.
There was one time we didn’t listen to Magda’s advice regarding the use of a travel coordinator, and it was the worst mistake we made. We learned: “just listen to Magda”.

Gaby was our personal wedding planner and she was ontop of every single detail for the Welcome Party and Day of. Exceeded our Dreams
Hiring Cabo Beach Weddings for your destination wedding I can not recommend enough! From start to finish Andy was there and so helpful! Letting me know what was a good deal and what wasn’t worth paying for. It was so easy to plan just picking from the list of options she gave me. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how effortless the entire weekend and planning process was. Being a bride that did not have a Pinterest board of inspiration or really much direction when it came to exactly what I wanted, I was scared to tackle the planning process but it ended up being so stress free and actually so fun. I believe a lot of it had to do with the support that Bibi from Cabo Beach Wedding gave us from start to finish.
We hired a planner as a "Day of Coordinator", but that included a lot of support the entire planning process. Although we had our planner just CC’d in emails and available for zoom calls, she truly was so helpful with vendors and guiding us on decisions. When it came to the final weeks, we felt so confident that the wedding would be everything we wanted and more.
When we met with Andy, another planner, the Thursday before the wedding to go over final timeline with Bibi, we were blown away by Andy’s excitement and eagerness to help us. Although we were just meeting her days before the wedding, we knew she was the perfect addition to our team for the wedding day. Andy went above and beyond on our rehearsal day, coordinating our first look with Sandy, and making sure our cocktail hour photo shoot was perfect. All of my bridesmaids and my mother LOVED Andy, and we loved she was making sure every single groomsmen knew the rules for the day! Seriously, such a perfect team we were assigned from CBW!

Cabo beach wedding planners are true professionals! The entire planning process was stress-free because of their extraordinary organizational and communication skills. They are in constant communication with the bride and groom and with their own team, so that the wedding day is seamless. My main wedding planner had a family emergency the day of my wedding and was unable to be there, and everything went perfectly as planned because of their seamless communication throughout the entire process. The day of they have a full staff present to make sure everything goes as planned from setting up to helping guests get home.

Christina and her team exceeded our expectations! Planning a Hindu wedding is not easy and when hiring a planner it’s a must that they know all of your customs and traditions. Christina introduced us to our senior planner, Bibi who know exactly what to do for each of our events.
Christina helped us negotiate our hotel and vendor fees. Bibi planned each event bringing my vision to life and recommending excellent vendors. Cabo Beach Weddings was well staffed, as we had 169 people and multiple events over a three day period. Having their team for each event really set my mind at ease.

October 2023 Wedding
We had the pleasure of working with the team at Cabo Beach Weddings & they were nothing short of amazing. From the first meeting with Christina she was able to provide a variety of venues that helped narrow down a decision for us. We were assigned the wedding planner Patricia who we absolutely LOVE. She was extremely responsive to every request & helped us planned the most amazing wedding. Our wedding was the weekend of Hurricane Norma which came with a lot of stress and anxiety. Christina & Patricia were there every step of the way to guide us through the process. I interviewed 5 different wedding planners and right off the bat I felt that Christina was there to help. She answered questions and got quotes from venues after our very first meeting. I then interviewed Gaby from her team and immediately fell in love with her! Gaby is warm, helpful and was genuinely excited to help plan my big day. It can be a little uncomfortable planning a destination wedding, and Gaby eased any of my worries. I left quite a bit of the "vision" up to her when confirming details with vendors and was so incredibly pleased with how everything turned out. We are so happy with our decision to hire Cabo Beach Weddings. After our first Zoom call with Christina we knew she and her team would be a perfect fit. Andy was our assigned planner, and we could not be more thankful for the experience she gave us! I feel like we instantly clicked; she was kind, calm when I was anxious, and patient as I made decisions. The vendors she recommended not only fit our aesthetic but also the budget we were comfortable with. We flew out for a whirlwind 2-days a few months before the wedding, and she made every moment count - site visit, tasting, hair/make up trial - we felt so at ease having made those decisions early on in the process!
When the weekend of the wedding arrived, Andy thought of EVERY DETAIL. She scheduled a floral preview with our vendor because she knew how important the flowers were and wanted to make sure I loved the design; needless to say, she nailed it with them! We had a Welcome Party on the beach the night before the wedding which was a blast! Andy heard us when we said "laidback vibes with great food, booze, and tunes!" It was the perfect way to kick off our wedding festivities! The day of the wedding there were several planners attending to all the details with Andy, the bridal suite, and the groomsmen! There was not a single thing they didn't think of - it was impressive, and I genuinely cannot remember feeling a bit of stress that day! The ceremony and reception were PERFECTION; the alter, the florals, tables capes - I gave Andy a mood board when we were first met, and she took my vision and executed every detail to a T! Our guests were so impressed with what she and her team created - it was magical! THANK YOU, ANDY from the bottom of our hearts! One of the most important decision we needed to make was hiring a wedding planner for our destination wedding. After interviewing with a few planners, as soon as we spoke with Christina we knew this was the planning service for us! after working with Christina, Laurissa became our main planner for the rest of the year. Laurissa was amazing! She was always quick to answer our emails and calls. She had great recommendations for our welcome dinner, photographer, and bakery. We took all of her vendor recommendations and couldn't be happier with result! We had lots of problems with our venue and their lack of responsiveness, but Laurissa was always quick to reassure us. She consistently worked with the hotel and meet with them on her own. It was very reassuring to have someone based in Cabo advocating for us. On the day of, she and her team took care of everything! Cabo Beach Weddings was my only call when I was looking for a wedding planner in Cabo, a destination I had never been to. After talking to Christina I knew that they were the perfect fit. She set me up with Edith, who immediately jumped on everything and created my absolute dream of a wedding. From working with the resort, to helping us plan a girls lunch, to a STUNNING boat trip rehearsal, to a wedding day that I will never forget; she did it all. We came down for a two day whirlwind site visit/tasting and Edith drove us all over. When my mom mentioned that she loved homemade tortillas, Edith went out of her way to bring us enough to fly home with. By the end of our short trip Edith was like family to me and I am so sad that our time together is now over.
During my wedding weekend, Edith was on top of EVERYTHING. I never once felt stressed which made the day so much more special. If there were problems I wasn’t aware of them. There were
multiple planners attending to us on the day of and they were all incredibly attentive and helpful. My guests were so impressed by everything and we danced the whole night.
I can’t recommend Edith, Christina, and CBW enough. They truly made my vision become reality. ❤️

Amazing wedding planner!!
When we started planning our destination wedding in Cabo I honestly had no idea where to begin. I started to research wedding planners and came across Cabo Beach Weddings and decided to set up a zoom call to see what they had to offer. My first call with Christina was so informative and she had so many ideas and options for any type of budget - I immediately told my now husband that I wanted to hire her! We booked two trips to go to Cabo - one to do some site visits with her and pick a venue and the second to do tastings, look at florals and hair/make up trial. She made everything so easy from organizing our transportation to setting up all meetings with vendors. She was so quick to respond throughout the whole 14 months we were planning and when our wedding week finally arrived everything went seamlessly. We had the most amazing week thanks to her and her team! All of friends and family keep telling us it was the best destination wedding they have ever been to! My fiance and I had originally planned a cruise wedding and about 120 days out, we got a call that it was canceled. After spending around a month trying to figure out how to plan a destination wedding on my own, the only thing I had actually figured out (other than stress workouts are a pretty effective means for burning calories) was that I wanted to have a wedding in Cabo. I couldn't for the life of me find a placce that was affordable for both our guests and ourselves in terms of a wedding. One day I just took a gamble and started submitting my wedding idea to different wedding planners on Wedding Wire. In comes Christina - she actually introduced herself and then sent over I think 6 or 7 different options for weddings that were in my budget (which was a very limited one) and would work for our party size (45-50 people). Her initiative was so impressive I immediately knew I wanted to work with CBW. We had an initial zoom call with her in which she explained her services, we explained our vision and then we discussed how to get this wedding done in 90 days - after which she said "let's do it". Every single person on the CBW team was so kind, so helpful and so patient - I was a girl who had no idea how to plan a wedding, much less how to plan a wedding in Mexico! They took all the stress off of the wedding planning and they made everything that we asked happen. We had a wedding far beyond anything we could have ever dreamt of and we had fun doing it! Thank you so so very much to Christina, Laurissa and Andy - we could never have pulled off a wedding like this without you, much less in 90 days! Needles to say this Review is WAYYYY OVERDUE!! Where do I start?!
Finding Christina was seriously a Blessing!! I knew planning a destination wedding was going to be tough and challenging since I didn’t know any vendors in Cabo , let alone had never been there before! Thankfully , Christina was recommended to me by a friend that hired her for her wedding years ago ! I booked my trip to Cabo to look at Venues , and met with Christina to discuss her packages that she offered .( I knew I was going to need more than just a day of the event coordinator ) Christina was just so down to earth, completely transparent and understood what I wanted. I am a huge procrastinator , and she made sure to keep me to my deadlines , always kept in touch and just always went above and beyond to make sure that vision game to life !
She brought in Paola midway through the process to help and she was amazing as well! Both of them together are a force!! They both have such great expertise , I knew that I was in great hands . I couldn’t have asked for better wedding planners ! Now when everyone asks me , “OMG how was it planning a destination wedding ?” My response was, super easy!! They did all the research for me and the toughest job for me was trying to decide which vendor to go with ! We had our wedding at Cabo del Sol and it was everything i envisioned my wedding to be . So sad that there will no longer be weddings there !!

Christina and her team rocked it! Constant communication, kept me on schedule, provide an easy planning process with many choices, answered all of my questions, stayed within my budget, and much more.
We originally planned our event at with the planner at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, needless to say once the hotel collected my deposit the communication completely disappeared. This drove me insane trying to plan my wedding from another country. I shopped around for another planner to help me from where the hotel left off. It seemed as if every planner was not interested in working with me since I have already booked with the hotel… I was being quoted a minimum of $3000 just for the planner to be my contact with the hotel. I had already booked my venue as well as the hotel package that provided all of the vendors. I only wanted someone to communicate with me since the hotel wasn’t.
That is when I found Christina at Cabo beach weddings! She was straight up from the beginning. Her price was half the amount of the quotes I was getting from other planners and her service and communication was impeccable! It was strange how Christina knew more about my event than the hotel coordinator. On the day of the event I never even saw the hotel coordinator!

Christina was amazing from our first email to helping me days after our wedding was over. She was there every step of the way, every vendor she recommended did an incredible job. When our photo booth vendor backed out the week of the wedding she handled it immediately so I didn’t stress out. She came to our welcome reception, our brunch the day after and arranged for a boat cruise at the last minute, two days after the wedding. Our fireworks display was perfect. Christiana and her team were fabulous!!! She helped us plan our wedding and welcome dinner in Cabo, over the course of 18 months. However, we finalized almost everything within the first 3-4 months. She’s transparent in pricing, options and shares realistic expectations. She did all she could to keep our wedding under budget, however we didn’t care and went all in. Right up front she gave us lots of options and resources, which is why I chose her company. We had no stress during our wedding week, she took care of everything. We had 70 guests, of all ages and they were blown away by the attention to detail. Our wedding was simply perfection!! Communication was super easy, as she is from the US. So we didn’t have to worry about miscommunication. I would highly recommend this company, you won’t be sorry. And if you’re considering a destination wedding...DO IT! Outstanding and Stress Free Service!
Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful - Christina took all of the stress away! She handled everything so professionally - I didn't have to think about anything! She was amazing to work with, I kept changing my mind on a few details and she was extremely gracious with each request.
The day of coordinator, Bibi, was so very sweet! The minister, Joel, was an absolute treasure - he made us at ease and made the service so special for us. Our photographer, Caboyo , was excellent! I love all of our photographs!
I HIGHLY recommend Cabo Beach Weddings! You will not find a better value or any better service!

Kira Sent on 07/23/2018I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cabo Beach Weddings. Both our lead planner, Christina Gilliland and our assistant planner, Paola Camacho were top notch. They truly listened to what I had envisioned for my day and brought every little detail to life. I was so calm the day of my wedding knowing that everything was taken care of and they 100% deserve all of the credit. I had phone calls with multiple other big name wedding planners down there and felt that they didn't really understand what I had envisioned or felt that they had too much of an opinion where they were going to hijack my day and do what they wanted versus what I wanted. One wedding planner even told me she thought my wedding venue I had already booked was "ugly" and tried to convince me to switch my venue to some place else that had less sentimental value to my husband and me. Cabo Beach Weddings was the perfect combination of providing direction and input while also completely listening to what we wanted for our wedding day. I say skip all other conversations with wedding planners and go straight with Cabo Beach Weddings. You will not regret your decision in the slightest. They are amazing and worth every penny (probably worth more than you are paying).

CBW really went above and beyond for our wedding weekend. From the first meeting, Christina (CBW Owner), was super helpful and even helped us find our dream venue before we even signed with her! We ultimately chose the package to work with a Junior planner (Taydee) who worked so hard to make sure our dream wedding came true. She was patient and kind throughout the process. Wedding planning in Cabo can get really difficult because vendors take a long time to respond (sometimes don't respond at all) so having a planner in Cabo really helps. Taydee would contact them directly to get everything moving. We also got the design plan which I highly recommend. It comes with a designer (Kim) who helped put our vision board together - she offered input on designs, colors, and even worked with Taydee to find vendors. The reasonable price also includes a mock up of the reception table which you can do at your site visit.
What truly blew us away with CBW is the amount of support on the actual wedding WEEKEND. They had so many assistants (Sandy, Griselda, Magda, Cecilia) who worked with Taydee to coordinate every detail to make sure the entire weekend was successful and smooth. They helped us with 3 events (rehearsal, wedding, and afterparty) and there was no extra fees for multiple events or multiple assistants. They stayed with us until 10PM on the rehearsal boat party and had 2 assistants stay until 2AM for the afterparty! Everyone even pointed out how one of the CBW assistant even counted each guests as they were leaving to make sure no one was left behind for the shuttle! My guests commented on how wonderful and seamless the entire wedding weekend was thanks to the entire CBW team! I'd say compared to all the many quotes I got from other planners, CBW is definitely comprehensive yet affordable!Cabo Beach Weddings's reply:

I started working with CBW (Christina, Gabby & Andy) over a year before my wedding date. We flew to Cabo from LA twice before the wedding and they met up with us both times to first show us venues and vendors, and the next time to meet with us about our upcoming wedding plans, and also coordinated meetings for us with our vendors.
They were all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention super sweet.
On the day of our wedding, they handled everything - everything ran smoothly and they kept us on schedule. I didn’t have to stress or worry about any of the details.
I was blown away when I saw how beautiful the ceremony, cocktail hour and especially the reception areas were. They were even more beautiful than I had imagined.
Also, a storm was coming in and expected to hit the evening of our wedding date. They were able to get all of our vendors and venue to move our wedding up a day, so we had beautiful weather!
These women did an amazing job from start to finish. They brought all of my wedding visions to life, and even better than I pictured.

My husband and I are from Arizona and we chose Cabo Beach Weddings for our 10 year vow renewal ceremony. Christina is very knowledgeable with vendors in the area and recommended an excellent photographer and restaurant for us. Our guests were amazed at how beautiful the beach was and loved the restaurant and cake. We ported in from a Carnival cruise for this ceremony, so we were rushed for time and Christina's team really helped move us along to be sure we made it back in time. I hired CBW after signing a contract with a cabo hotel and realizing that I would need someone on my side. As far as budget, I did a lot of research on wedding planners and CBW had the best price. Part of the reason I hired CBW was because I was initially in contact with Christina who was amazing. She is very easy to communicate with and responds very quickly to texts. She also provided me with a lot of information and resources before I even hired CBW. I was excited to move forward with CBW. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that in the contract it said I would be working with an assistant and not with Christina directly. This was not clearly communicated and I overlooked it on the contract. After that, Bibi took over the planning & the communication wasn’t the best. The responses were not as quick and she didn’t always have the information I was asking. Thankfully, Christina was still available whenever I needed clarification on things. As the date got closer to the wedding, the COVID cases started getting high really fast. My husband and I are both nurses and saw first-hand how scary the pandemic was. I reached out to the wedding coordinators asking if everything was still going on for the wedding and/or if there were any changes. I got an email from the coordinators saying that in Cabo everything was fine and no changes to the wedding. Then a few days later I got a call from Bibi saying “I heard you’re scared to come to Cabo?”. I explained to her I wasn’t scared, but that the covid cases were really high and I wasn’t sure if that was going to change anything. Bibi explained that everything was fine in Cabo and no changes will be made. Shortly after, there was the new regulation requiring all travelers to have a covid test to fly back to US. Then, I got a call from Bibi saying that yes things have changed and I could change my wedding date if I wanted. We decided to move forward with the wedding although our number of guests went down significantly. I was told that I would have a wedding coordinator with me the entire day of the wedding helping me with whatever I needed. On the day of the wedding, I had no wedding coordinator with me the entire morning. I had no idea what was going on. I got ready by myself with no assistance. Thankfully I had a great photographer who was actually with me the entire time. It wasn’t until after I got ready and took pictures that Bibi finally met with us right before the ceremony. I was later told by my guests that everything was disorganized and nobody knew where to sit or where to go. We had written our vows on a book and Bibi said she was going to give it to someone to give to us during the ceremony. Later, my mom told me she was just handed the vows with no explanation. This was the same for flowers that we gave to the Virgin Mary. I was disappointed in this especially since we paid extra for a wedding coordinator. After the ceremony, our photographer took us to the beach to take pictures. The entire time we were taking pictures, Bibi was sitting on a rock on her phone. It was windy and I could have used assistance with my dress, etc. Needless to say, I wasn’t happy with the services of CBW. I’m sorry, but I felt an honest review was necessary.Cabo Beach Weddings's reply:

Thank you for your feedback. When a client hires a the hotel prior to our services this means you are working their vendors and their onsite coordinator for planning and all day services the day of. You hired our services for extra attention with planning communication, to help expedite the process with religious paperwork formalities, as the hotel was not offering this for you. We also helped when you the hotel gave you difficulties for hiring an outside photographer and paid extra for her services. We had that call about this a few weeks prior to your event.
The coordination serivce you hired with CBW was with an assigned assistant wedding planner, not with a master planner. It stated this very clearly on the contract in bold letters on the top. This serivce offers all planning emails with both assistant and master planner along with constant communication. It also offers for the master planner to be on site to oversee formalities.
I spoke with Bibi about being on her phone at the time of your photos on the beach and she stated she was calling to schedule for a cart to be ready for your pick up to bring you back to the reception area, as you know the resort uses carts to get around. Bibi was on site the day of you event at 1pm as clearly scheduled on your timeline which you approved, since you were getting ready in the hotel salon from 12-2pm. The hotel coordinator was on site since 8am, she should of came to see if you needed assistance before 1pm as she had the timeline as well about our services starting at the hotel at 1pm.
You mentioned your guests not knowing where to go for seating. CBW had one of their assistance along with myself to personally welcome them at the welcome table, answer any questions, and help them find their seats from the seating cards that you made. We also had a printed seating chart on hand.
Its unfortunate that your guest count was drastically affected by the new policy issued by the States for required testing when returning back from Mexico. We kept a clear communication about what was happing in Cabo with COVID, during the whole shutdown. The required testing happened a few days after our call. In any case, we informed you that the hotel had the antigen testing in place at the hotel. Needless to say, your event was beautiful! I wish you and Mario a wonderful journey together and hope you can send a hello our way next time you are in Cabo.
