Brittney of BW bridal and her staff were my favorite vendor - from communicating with her for over two years due to postponing during the pandemic to our trial together to the big day - she was the sweetest, most talented hairstylist I have ever worked with! And if you are getting married in the Hudson Valley, you won’t be disappointed with hiring her. Britney is responsive, fair in pricing and all my 10+ bridesmaids - and I had picky ones - raved about how their hair lasted all night long! She is also super personal and just fun to work with because of her genuine pure energy and confidence she gives all her brides! It was truly a dream to work with her. -

Where do I begin... Brittney is the reason I had the absolute perfect bridal hair on my wedding day, not only because she 1000% NAILED the bridal hairstyle I wanted but she was with me all day long to touch me up and make sure myself and the bridal party were all looking stunning at all times. Brittney was my first hair trial back in January 2022 for my wedding on August 13 2022 and I immediately knew I did not need to do any more hair trials whatsoever, she's so knowledgeable and such an amazing person that you don't need anything else!! Not to mention I had a bridal party with very diverse hair types, lengths, etc. and she not only sent me preparation guidelines ahead of time but nailed every single one of their hairdos, and they haven't stopped talking about how much they loved it… Please STOP LOOKING ANY FURTHER AND HIRE BRITTNEY!!! Myself and my entire family & friends (bridal party) will be always thankful for her!!! -

Brittney is the BEST!
I got married in June at the Senate Garage and having Brittney as my stylist was one of the BEST parts of my wedding! I should preface this review by saying I am not a typical bride. I couldn't find the words to describe to Brittney what I wanted during our initial consultation. I showed her one inspo pic that I liked from her instagram, my wedding dress and described my venue. Overall, the description of what I wanted was vague, however when she was finished I was shocked. She exceeded my expectations not because I didn't trust her ability, but because she did something to my hair that I didn't even know I wanted. It ultimately aligned with my personality, taste and style PERFECTLY. She knocked it out of the park and I felt so relieved leaving my appointment.
On the day of the wedding, I didn't really know what I wanted to do in terms of hair accessories (I didn't bring anything to our initial consultation) so I brought options - two hairpins and a greenery crown provided from the florist. The crown was quite large and not something I wanted to wear as is. Once again, Brittney got creative and took pieces from the crown and added them to my hair to create something that was custom. She also helped me pick a hairpin that aligned with my style/theme. I am extremely grateful for her ability to create on the spot and her ability to read her clients to deliver something that is truly special and in alignment with the needs/wants of the client.
She is organized, professional and has a kind soul that is truly rare. I was pretty nervous the day of my wedding but having Brittney there was great support because she is SO calming and kind. My bridesmaids also loved her and enjoyed having her in the room on my big day :). Lastly, everything about the process of booking and scheduling was also very simple as Brittney is super responsive and makes it as seamless as possible. She is extremely talented and I couldn't be happier with my hair on my big day! Thank you Brittney!!! -

She is an angel sent from heaven!!!!
Brittany is everything that you could possibly want on your wedding day and MORE. Aside from her making my hair exactly what I wanted, and working with the texture of my nature curls(which I was initially so worried about), she is just the most beautiful person with the most calming energy. She spoke to me at length before my wedding to talk to me about how to prepare my natural curls optimally and sent multiple emails back and forth to help me bounce off ideas I had for hair, since I had a hard time deciding between a down vs up-do. She was incredibly flexible and encouraged my non traditional hair ideas, instead of forcing me to look more mainstream. I think some hair stylists only know how to do one thing, but Brittany can literally do anything, and if you don’t like it, shes happy to take it apart and do it again, so that your hair is everything you imagined on your day. I thought that my wedding morning would be stressful and hectic, but it was the exact opposite. I could not have felt more at ease, and in the absolute BEST hands. Absolutely love her and give her the HIGHEST recommendation. -

Brittney is incredibly talented and made my bridesmaids and me look beautiful on my wedding day! My curls and hairstyle lasted through the after party which I think speaks to the quality of Brit's work. She is such a genuine and friendly person which is exactly who you want to be around the morning of your wedding! Run don't walk to book Brit! -

Brittney was absolutely AMAZING! I had the greatest time exploring different styles with her during our initial consultation. With me stumbling through explaining what I thought I might want + a quick look at my Pinterest board, she was able to create the perfect style for me, and was willing to make minor tweaks until we really truly found it! Plus, we just had so much fun chatting :)
And then on the day of the wedding, it felt as though Brittney was one of my best friends. Firstly, she was such a calming presence, but also fun and got along with everyone so well! And on top of that, she and her assistant seamlessly styled the hair of myself and my 7 besties. Everyone looked and felt FIERCE! Could not recommend Brittney more!!! -

If I could choose the top three vendors that made my wedding experience, Brittney would be at the top. She is extremely talented, warm, and an incredible professional. Brittney listened and nurtured not only me, but all of my bridesmaids and made us all feel and look our very best. Highly HIGHLY recommend. -

I am not from the Hudson Valley and so was not familiar with any of the vendors in the area. I scoured social media and found Brittney/BW Bridal. She got back to me almost immediately after I reached out and I booked her right away. When I met her during our trial, not only was I impressed with her ability to create ANY look but also how sweet and kind and warm she was! She is so incredibly talented and can pull off whatever you ask for - a sleek chignon or the most fabulous boho braid - she can do it flawlessly. Every person she did hair for on my wedding day looked fabulous through the end of the night... and into the next morning! My chignon hardly moved! I recommend her 100% for your special event or wedding. You won't regret booking her! -

AMAZING! Brittney is just the BEST!
Brittney is hands down one of the best decisions that I made for our wedding day. I came across her page on social media and her talent and creativity with hairstyles blew me away! On our wedding day she made the girls and I look so incredibly beautiful. I booked Brittney far in advance for our day and the entire time leading up to the wedding she was responsive, professional and FUN! When you think of who you want to be around you the morning of your big day, Britt fits all the boxes. She is bubbly, sweet and the girls and I really enjoyed her company along with her amazing hairstyle skills. Thank you for being so amazing and allowing me to feel so beautiful on our special day! I LOVED LOVED LOVED my hair! -

I cannot express enough how AMAZING, Britt is. From start to finish she is BY FAR the most talented, insightful and knowledgeable person I have had the pleasure to meet. I actually planned my whole wedding date around her availability because I knew she needed to be apart of my big day! From day one when I booked her, to the day of the wedding and even days after she was the sweetest and most supportive person. Her bubbly and kind personality could calm the most nervous bride. She takes her time to really understand how you want to look, but she can complete the most gorgeous and intricate updos with great speed and ease. Even when I was getting a little overwhelmed on the day of, she told me to take a break, breathe and that everything would be perfect, which it was! My hair for my wedding was everything I could have dreamt of and more! You are in the best hands with BW Bridal! Don’t hesitate, book her for your big day NOW! I promise you won’t regret it! -

I’ll admit that booking hair & makeup for my wedding definitely was the toughest call I made during planning. I had a particularly hard time envisioning exactly what style of updo I was looking for (since I normally just blow dry my hair straight and call it a day) and I was terrified of having stiff, crunchy hair that felt utterly unlike myself.
Thankfully, some lucky wind blew me in the direction of Brittney Weiss, and things couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. Brittney is absolutely adorable, personable and easy to talk to. During our trial at her super cute home studio, she listened carefully to my rather abstract concerns and worked with me to come up with the most perfect creation of waves pulled into a low bun that looked elegant and polished, but completely natural.
To my delight, my hair looked even more amazing on my wedding day (which also happened to be her birthday!) and perfectly complemented my crepe and beaded wedding gown. Brittney worked quickly and professionally and was thoughtful enough to leave me with a little hair care package for the rest of the wedding, though I didn’t need to use it since my hair looked perfect until the wee hours of the after party! She also did incredible work on my bridesmaids’ hair, both of whom opted for an old Hollywood-style wave that was beyond glamorous.
Her services were very reasonably priced for the amazing work that she does, and it was just the icing on the cake that she had previously worked with my makeup artist (the equally lovely Meg Rianne). Thanks to the two of them, it felt like no time at all had passed while getting ready, and I seriously can’t recommend Brittney (and Meg) more highly, both individually and as duo.

If the world was full of more people like Brittney Weiss, it’d be a better place.
First things first, Brittney is the queen of bohemian bridal. My fiance and I were totally blown away by her braids and updos on Instagram and were thrilled to find out she had our date available when we reached out eight months before. We had some trouble finding time to do a trial—two brides requires a hefty time slot—but since Brittney only required $50 to hold the date and we were so in love with her looks, we sent the $50 on over.
When we did go for our trial at Brittney’s house—where she has an awesome salon—we were immediately welcomed by the warmest human being of all time. Brittney just oozes joy and love and all good things. She’s the exact kind of person you want to be surrounded by on the morning of the most important day of your life. One of us wanted a signature Brittney braided look and the other wanted vintage, structured waves. Despite how different they were, Brittney totally nailed both styles.
And while she worked her magic, we had heartfelt conversations that really meant the world to us. It’s so rare to connect with someone like that so quickly and to be taken by their talent, to boot. We felt like we struck gold! Plus, it was a rainy day and our hair held up in those conditions. Suffice it to say, we were sold on having Brittney style us, our sisters/maids of honor, and our mothers on the day of the wedding.
One mother of the bride and maid of honor also wanted to go for trials and Brittney was very accomodating, treating each woman as if she was the bride, too. She really has a gift for making people feel welcome, understood, and at ease. In advance, she answered every question they had about about when to wash their hair, what photos to bring, etc. and did it with enthusiasm. On the day of, they were also totally touched by Brittney and wowed by her skills.
When the other mother of the bride lost her hair a few months before the wedding due to chemo, we reached out to Brittney to see if she’d be able to style her wig. We sent her photos of the wig and the updo style the MOB wanted. Brittney was so kind and reassuring about it and on the day of the wedding, she did an absolutely incredible beautiful job. The wig looked so good even after the MOB took the updo out, that it looked like she got a fresh blowout when she wore it to the brunch the next day.
Brittney really made us brides, our moms, and our sisters feel so beautiful and well taken care of on the wedding day and in the months leading up to it. She brought her talent, her heart of gold, and her zest for life to our wedding day and made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and prettier than ever. Sitting in her chair is like sitting down with an old friend, whether you met her years prior, months prior, weeks prior, or even that day. She is such a special person and we really feel so lucky to have met her through our wedding planning process. They just don’t come better than Brittney. We cannot recommend her enough! We wish we could give her a million stars!

Britt was a gem to work with. I was a laid back, non-traditional bride. I did however, begin follow vendors on Instagram after we got engaged. After booking our venue, Britt the first vendor I contacted, and I'm glad I did. I can't say I dreamed of what my wedding hair would look like. I knew she did great work and I would love how it came out.
Never did I expect to have the amount of wedding guests come up and compliment my hair. I didn't even know that was a thing! Of all the weddings I've been to, I've never loved the brides hair enough to say something.
I was showered all night with compliments!! I danced my ass off and my style (low romantic bun with braid), stayed the ENTIRE NIGHT.
I cannot put into to words my gratitude for her work, professional, and how happy she made me feel on my big day. Thanks, Britt. -

Erica Sent on 09/26/2018Where to even begin?! I have followed and loved Brittney and her work from the day I met her at a wedding we were both a part of. Not only are her hairstyles incredible (think: effortless, bohemian, romantic), she herself (as a professional AND as an individual) is amazing! She was extremely accommodating for my anniversary engagement photoshoot, and created the most beautiful hairstyle - I didn't even have to tell her what I was thinking - she just knew! Her hairstyle lasted for the entire day, and I felt so incredible knowing that my hair looked like the freaking bomb, haha. It even lasted to the next day, with just a few minor touchups. Brittney, you are absolutely amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Since my first phone call with her before booking, to my trial, to the wedding day, she made me feel so comfortable and in such good hands! I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about Brittney and her work!
She was so nice and kept in touch through every step of the way!! The day of the wedding, my hair was one of the few things I knew I had nothing to worry about. I absolutely loved my hair!! And all of the girls and my mom and mother in law loved their hair as well! She went above and beyond, and even fit in one of my girls total last minute the day of the wedding.
Brittney is such a sweetheart!! And so good at what she does!! Love love love her work!! Thank you so much Brittney for making me and my girls look beautiful!!❤️

Diana Sent on 12/22/2016Britt was so professional and wonderful! We just clicked! She worked with me to have different options because i wasn't sure about my dress yet! Once you met her you will understand, she is just so super nice!!!
The day of my wedding, she was very punctual and just great!!! I wanted half up and down for the ceremony and down for the reception. She put pins in that i can take out and my hair can come down but the do looked so great half up half down so I just left it!!
Britt was amazing and would totally recommend her to anyone!!!! -

When I went for my hair trial she was so helpful, from taking the time to talk styles (curls vs. braids) to actually listening to what I wanted and looking at photo inspiration I have saved, she was great. She even helped me rule out a headband and instead go for a comb so as to not flatten my hair on my wedding day. I'm so glad I scheduled a trial with her. On the day of my wedding she was so cheerful and prepped me in rollers right away as she worked on my girls. I would definitely recommend Brit, she's so sweet, down to earth and extremely talented. You definitely get your money's worth with her! :)
