When it came to wedding planning, my (now) husband and I had a vague idea of what we wanted and no idea of where to start or how to get there. Luckily, my sister in law had been to a wedding that Buzzworthy Events had planned and I immediately set up a meeting with Ashley. I knew right away that she was the perfect wedding planner for us because she saw me, my husband, and our wedding as individuals rather than just an other event. Ashley took the time to get to know us and truly understand what we wanted our wedding to be. She made wedding planning fun and enjoyable. She created a timeline so we always knew what we were supposed to focusing on and taking care of in the months leading up to the wedding. For the day of she put together a detailed schedule that had all of the information for the various vendors and their set up times, down to the order for the bridal party to walk down the aisle. Having her expert knowledge and insight was helpful beyond words.
One of the things that I appreciate most about Ashley is that she never once lost track of our budget. She kept our expectations in line with what we could afford and provided tips along the way for how to save money. Because Ashley took the time to get to know my husband and I she was able to walk us through where our money should go in order to achieve the wedding we dreamed of. Ashley gave us our perfect wedding. She helped put everything together into one cohesive, beautifully designed event that I wish I could relive every single day.
I cannot recommend Ashley and Buzzworthy Events highly enough! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashley for a wedding at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. She was the wedding coordinator for the bride + groom. As an owner of a boutique DJ service, we have very high standards. Being vendors, we want to make the lives of the bride + groom as easy as possible. Ashley is incredibly professional and made the process very simple and seamless. She's very responsive (one of the most important qualities to have), hands on, and has a great personality. I really look forward in working with her again!

I would recommend Buzzworthy Events to anyone looking for a unique, creative, out of the cooker-cutter box Wedding Planner! Ashley Smith was great from start to finish. She has an amazing eye and helped my husband and I keep on track for our March 1, 2015 wedding! We wanted our Palm Springs wedding to be funky, fresh and unique and without Ashley's help, we wouldn't have accomplished that. Not only was she amazing pre-wedding in helping create our DIY details, she was well organized day of. We never had to worry about a thing!I would recommend Buzzworthy Events to anyone looking for a unique, creative, out of the cooker-cutter box Wedding Planner! How many ways can I say how amazing Ashley is? Well she was the only wedding planner we interviewed and my wife and I knew instantly that Ashley was the one to make our dream wedding come true. It wasn't an easy wedding to plan. we decided to do a very custom tailored destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, which complicated certain things but Ashley navigated through all issues with style and grace. She has a positivity that is infectious and put us at ease even through the most stressful of times. She also has many contacts that helped us create a great team that was not only talented but fun. Her style, creativity and resourcefulness helped create a wedding that our friends and family cannot stop talking about and is even getting featured on online weddings sites. It was such a pleasure working with her that we walked away with not only with great memories but now someone that we consider a friend. Ashley is an amazing planner and coordinator! She sees to it the your wedding day looks and feels like a dream. She really knows her stuff too! I had no idea of some of the major components that needed to go into planning a wedding until I met Ashley. Thankfully, she handled all those little details that I would have never thought of! Ashley puts so much time and energy into her clients and really makes you feel like a friend. She even spent her free time hand dying the table I wanted napkins because we couldn't find them in stores!! I highly recommend Ashley to anyone wanting a wedding planner:)Ashley is an amazing planner and coordinator! She sees to it the your wedding day looks and feels like a dream. I've been waiting for an opportunity to write this review and I finally get a chance almost 1 year later! Ashley was wonderful to work with--she was super resourceful, was quick and responsive, would calm me down during mini meltdowns and most if all, helped coordinate one of the biggest days of my life! I honestly don't know what I would've done without her guidance and expertise. Lyndsey was also a huge help on the day of our wedding! Couldn't have asked for a better (and more beautiful!) duo!

We wanted an alternative style, not the traditional type of wedding and Ashley was able to guide us with her expertise and experience in creating a theme that fit our personalities. The design of our venue and the theme in the details evoked the fun yet classy simplicity that we were looking for. She met with us in a timely manner that allowed us to plan and execute what was needed. When we had to change our budget because of some bumps in the road, Ashley was able to adjust to our needs without sacrificing aesthetics. She recommended great suppliers and vendors. We definitely were very happy with the turn out.

I'm so thrilled with how wonderful our wedding turned out that I've got to give credit where it's due. Ashley with Buzzworthy Events began helping my husband and I with our wedding planning back in January, and I'll admit that I was a little nervous about the whole process. We had a modest budget by San Francisco standards and a large family, combined with big group of friends that we hoped to invite. As a wedding planner, I think Ashley shines in 2 major ways.
First, she can see your vision and put it together in a very complete, ORIGINAL, and sophisticated way. She won't give you some boring wedding that everyone has been to a hundred times. In fact, I was literally stunned walking into out reception site to see how Ashley had transformed it. A lot of guests also commented that it was one of the coolest weddings they had been to... (and that's a good feeling!)
Secondly, the girl is majorly connected in the wedding industry. Our venue, photographer, florist, DJ, wedding cake designer, and catering people were all ones that Ashley had worked with before and let me just say that she was able to save us thousands! And...they were all wonderful!
She was very organized, kept the lines of communication open, and worked her ass off the week of the wedding. I feel like I could go on and on and still not do justice to how satisfied we both were with her professionalism and style. HIGHLY recommend Buzzworthy Events!
