I absolutely loved working with the Blush 'n Bangs team for my wedding. I started with the hair/make-up trial and they did such a great job with that and made me feel so confident about the day-of look. All of my bridesmaids/family that got their hair/make-up done on the wedding day were so happy with it as well and felt confident in their looks - which is all anyone can hope for on such a special day. The Blush 'n Bangs team was great at communication and really listening to what each girl wanted their look to be, making sure it's what they wanted, and also checking with me (the bride) to make sure it fit within the aesthetic of the bridal party look. I would highly recommend working with this team for your big day and would love to work with them again for any other occasions in the future!

I used them as my hair and makeup artist for my wedding and they were fantastic. They were able to do me, my 3 bridesmaids, and my mom all within 4 hours, which was about an hour less than what other companies quoted me at. They were reasonably priced and very friendly. There were some unique things with my group (allergies, etc.) and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend

We hired blush 'n bangs for our wedding party and had a great experience. They were very communicative, prompt, and professional leading up to the wedding date so it was super clear what to expect on the day of the event. We had a total of 6 people getting H&MU and they were flexible with everyone's requests and tailored the service to each person's unique style and needs - For example my grandmother was initially hesitant to get her hair and makeup done since she hadn't worn makeup or had her hair styled in 5+ years and was worried about being overdone, but Brooke and Amber completely understood her concerns and when they were done my grandmother looked and felt fantastic. The whole party looked beautiful, I'm so happy I went with blush 'n bangs and I would 1000% recommend them to anyone.

Can't Recommend ENOUGH!!!
The day started out rainy and humid and a lot of my bridesmaids were worried about how the makeup and hair would last. I can honestly say that it was NOT a problem! Our stylists showed up on time and were very efficient and personable. They did hair for six bridesmaids and one bride and makeup for 4 bridesmaids and one bride. They were even able to fit in one extra bridesmaid who had changed her mind. The hair lasted so well that at the brunch the next morning, all my girls still had their hair up. If you are looking for hair and makeup services in Austin, look no further!!

Blush n’ Bangs did an AMAZING job for my big day. Amber, our hairstylist, and Brooke, our makeup artist were punctual, attentive, friendly, and talented. As a curly haired bride, I am always super nervous to let others style my hair but Amber got rid of those fears for me! She worked with my natural curls to give me the look I wanted but without the frizz that comes with being a curly girl. Both the hair and make up held up for the entire day and night for all the girls and myself! They had the task of getting 8 girls ready and they did it like total pros. We were done ahead of schedule, but they weren’t rushed and still made sure we all had the looks we wanted. They made scheduling and booking super simple which is great because weddings are fun but stressful! Their pricing is absolutely fair and you 100% get your money’s worth. They have fair costs with fantastic service. No gimmicks or surprise fees, which is a must in today’s economy. Someone else recommended Blush n’ Bangs to me, and now I’m recommending them to any brides reading these reviews! Truly, couldn’t have asked for a better beauty crew! :)

Blush ‘N Bangs was the perfect choice for my wedding hair and makeup! Brooke and Amber did an incredible job. They communicated very quickly through email during the planning process. The pre-wedding trial was a great (and in my opinion, essential) step to make sure I was happy with everything before the big day. They work quickly without sacrificing quality. Brooke and Amber were absolutely incredible from start to finish. blush n' bangs team was amazing! I had a few scheduling changes throughout my planning and they were very accommodating! Their make up artist, Raychill, was so amazing! Listens to your concerns and comes up with an action plan, understands her craft so well that no challenge is too big and is very kind and makes everyone feel welcome and special. Our hair stylist, Kristi, is so sweet! She listens to your ideas and works magic to make it happen! She is so thorough in her craft and works wonders! She made my entire wedding party gorgeous with their hair and made sure we were all taken care of. Brooke and Amber did a great job from the moment I reached out to them! Every time I had a question or needed to change something, they responded quickly and were super willing to accommodate. Blush n Bangs was a joy to work with! Tiffany was my hair stylist and Tuhan did my makeup - they were both outstanding! Tiffany worked with me as I changed my mind 3 times on what I wanted to do with my hair. She was so friendly and really helpful in making a final decision. When it came to the day of, she knocked it out of the park and exceeded all my expectations! Tuhan is a magician with makeup as well! She made the makeup so natural but heavy enough to look very good in photos. I was also very nervous about running behind timing wise as everyone warned me hair and makeup is where you can fall behind but they were finished both Friday and Saturday night in plenty of time for me to get to where I needed to be on time! I cannot recommend them enough.

Amber and Brooke were amazing! They did all 6 of my bridesmaids, myself, and 2 moms in a timely manner! Hair and make up on your big day should not be stressful and they made sure of that! They were super flexible too. Less than 24 hours before the wedding day, we had to change the address of where we were getting ready and they had no issue with that! Jo was not only the consummate professional, but she was warm and friendly and created a very relaxed and comfortable environment on what was a hectic day. The bridal party enjoyed her company and we were so very pleased with the results! She was able to create the exact looks we wanted and hair and makeup lasted for hours without touch ups.
The girls in the office were very quick to respond to my correspondence or calls. The price was better than other artists and I wasn’t subjected to minimum number of bridesmaids. Very pleased overall with the trial where I was able to make changes to my look. I highly recommend Blush n’ Bangs.

Did a trial with blush and bangs after having a bad experience with another vendor and they were wonderful! They were very informative of the process and listened to what i was looking for. On the wedding day it was only me and my MOH at their studio, they did a wonderful job. There was a few things that i wanted to change from the trial and it went perfectly. I don't wear a ton of makeup and was very anxious about looking "over done" or not looking like myself on my wedding day, but Blush 'n Bangs completely eliminated that anxiety. They are so professional and easy to work with and took all my concerns into consideration. I recommend booking their trial hair/makeup too because their pre-appointment questionnaire really helped me think through my hair & makeup inspiration beforehand, so everything was smooth when I got there. They truly want to understand the look you're going for and create the best version of it possible based on your hair length/texture etc. The minor changes I wanted after my trial were implemented PERFECTLY. I felt so pretty and comfortable. They are also super friendly and felt like an extension of the bridal party. EVERYONE from my bridesmaids to my mother-in-law was happy with their hair and makeup.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved having Amber and Pails do everyone’s hair and make up for my wedding. They’re absolutely incredible at what they do! I changed my mind between trial and wedding, and it turned out stunning. The best part was that we all looked like ourselves still, just a fancier version. Blush 'n Bangs were absolutely amazing. They were professional, kind, and accommodating to my mom and the whole wedding party. We all looked so beautiful and they fulfilled everything we showed them and made suggestions, and made sure we loved everything before we stepped away. Brianna did my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it for my wedding day. I was so thankful for all her products and recommendations to help make the hairdo stay all night, which it did! We did a trial hair run, and I loved it, but then on the wedding day I decided I wanted more hair down (my hair is my security blanket). She altered the hairdo perfectly to have more down! Brianna also did an excellent job using hair extensions to make my hair look naturally fuller. I also got my makeup done with blush n bangs. It ended up being what I wanted, but I’d recommend doing a makeup trial (I didn’t do a makeup trial, and it was a little stressful to explain what I wanted on the day of the wedding). Highly recommend Blush n bangs!

PERFECT! Mermaid Bride Queen!
I had the BEST experience with Blush n’ Bangs! Let me just start by saying that they were so flexible and understanding in my last minute scheduling changes/needs, atop of my bride indecisiveness. I ended up not being able to attend any trials due to being sick the two weeks before my wedding and then I decided that I would like to have BOTH hair and makeup done (makeup being the add on) literally the day before. Rachel who did my makeup was so amazing and fun! She was professional, precise, collaborative, and gave me the glowing bride look I was going for! Jase did my hair and was simply “mermazing”! I had a mermaid bride theme hairstyle and it was incredible and truly one of the best parts of my whole wedding! He was so calm and positive, with an eye for precision and detail that did not go unnoticed by ANYONE. I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup that I felt like a queen. Jase did my hair trial and my wedding hair, and Tanya did my bridesmaids hair. They were AMAZING!! Jase took all of my notes from the trial and created EXACTLY what I was envisioning for my hair the day of and it held ALL NIGHT. He arrived 15 minutes early and was nothing, but professional. Both hair stylists were so kind and accommodating for everyone in my bridal party. I moved the time and location multiple times, and they were very prompt to reply to my requests. I would 11/10 use them again and would recommend to them anyone and everyone who will listen.

Wonderful HMU team!
Brooke and Amber from Blush ‘N Bangs were wonderful to work with through the wedding planning process. They were able to get me in for an early morning trial pre-engagement shoot and after I changed my vision closer to the wedding day, a second trial rather last minute the week before the wedding which I am very grateful for.
The gals were punctual and worked efficiently together to get HMU completed for everyone on schedule. They flawlessly replicated the inspiration photos provided, asked follow-up questions, and were flexible. They made my gals and I feel very beautiful and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with them.

They nailed it!
I didn’t do a trial with my makeup and hair artist and was a little worried how things would come out. Our makeup artist and hair stylist nailed the final look and made me feel like the most beautiful bride for our big day! I would highly recommend them for any wedding services!

Have short hair? Ask for Amber at Blush n Bangs.
I used to have long, straight blonde hair. I went through cancer treatment last year and my hair grew back dark and curly. Although I'm happy to have my hair back (and my health!), I have no idea how to style it and was uneasy about how it would look on my wedding day. Amber had me in tears. She is AMAZING. If she can make me like my post-cancer hair, I can guarantee she can help you, too, no matter what your hair looks like. The woman is magic.

Literally the best!
Blush n' Bangs are THE BEST! They were so accommodating with all of the last minute schedule changes in my bridal party, add-ons, and were super flexible throughout the entire process. They are super punctual too! Everyone on the team is phenomenal!

Perfect wedding makeup and hair!
I was super nervous about getting my hair and makeup professionally done for the first time especially as someone who doesn't really every wear makeup. Erin listened to my concerns and what I wanted and did SUCH a great job! I felt so beautiful! My bridesmaids and mom who got their makeup done said the same thing. She also has such a fun and laid back personality that is so easy to work with and she's super understanding of any concerns or ideas you may have!

Talented and fun makeup/hair stylists
Brooke and Amber are an incredible team. From the easy to set up hair and makeup trial to day of organizing where everything went ahead of schedule. We were able to relax and feel absolutely pampered and stress free as Amber and Brooke seamlessly transformed our inspiration pics into styles that worked for each person. It was a fun and memorable experience made better by the relaxed but still professional attitude that let everyone know they were in good hands while still being able to have fun while getting ready.

I highly recommend blush 'n bangs for your wedding. They were incredibly professional and listened to what I and everyone in my wedding party wanted for their hair and makeup. Our hair and makeup lasted all night. I would recommend them to any of my friends planning a wedding in the future.

Brooke and Amber were the makeup and hair artists for my wedding in April. All I can say is WOW, they are truly amazing! I have never felt more beautiful! Brooke did my makeup and several of my bridesmaid's. My makeup typically needs touch ups, but not with Brooke's work. It was flawless and lasted all night, even through all the dancing! Amber's hair skills are top notch. My hair stayed in place all night and I didn't have to think twice about it. If you are on the fence, book them before it's too late. You won't regret it!
