I had a great visit with Emily as my guide! The store was beautiful and easy to shop in. Emily made me feel so welcome and safe! I brought my mother in law, aunt, and cousin and was so happy the entire time! While I didn't find THE dress this round, the team keeps their insta updated nicely so I will deffo be back to try on some more options! -

Found my dress here and had a great experience. The lighting was really nice and I found several really beautiful options. Each was very high quality and reasonably priced. I buy a lot of my clothes secondhand, so I loved the idea of buying my wedding dress from a consignment shop. Mine ended up being new with tags and a great deal. I worked with Grace who was wonderful and brought the dress I ended up choosing out from the back once she had a good idea of my style. I highly recommend! -

I had a wonderful experience. I was able to book an appointment to have the store to myself and brought along two of my friends. I worked with the consultant Elayna to find the right sizes and styles that were within my budget. She also helped with choosing accessories. We had a great time taking photos and videos together to capture the moment. We didn't feel rushed at all. The store is well-decorated so the shots were beautiful. I was so pleased to walk away with my dream dress and veil and come out under budget. I would definitely recommend this place as a first stop for wedding dress shopping. -

When I first heard about Blue Sky Bridal, I was in love with the concept. I had been looking at Preownedweddingdresses.com and stillwhite.com and was nervous about getting a dress sight-unseen. I had really hoped to get a dress on Consignment because I love sustainability, but also because my wedding was in three months so my options were limited. My overall experience was really special. I opted to book a fully-private appointment and I'm so glad I did. I felt relaxed and able to go at my own pace. Maddi was a great host and made good suggestions and offered guidance on alterations for later. I went to several other SF places after that and must've tried on 25+ dresses, but returned to Blue Sky Bridal to try on a dress that had stayed on my mind. Elayna was there to help me this time and was extremely patient and allowed me the time to soak in the feels of the dress. I soon realized that dress was the one and I feel proud that I chose a sustainable option. You also can't beat the value of going preowned. The price reduction was significant! I also love that the dress was already hemmed close to my height which saved me on alterations! Blue Sky Bridal does not offer alterations, but did make recommendations on who to work with, which was very helpful. I look forward to putting my dress on consignment after the wedding and allowing it to be loved by someone else on their big day. I'll post pics later as I don't want the fiance to see! Haha -

I said yes to the dress!
Blue Sky Bridal SF was the first and only bridal shop I visited. I actually ended up buying the very first dress I tried on! They have a wide selection of styles and sizes, so if you’re in the Bay Area you should definitely check them out. My dress was even under my budget! -

I am writing this review together for Blue Sky Bridal and Alterations by Heather, because my wedding dress story had some major roadblocks, and both these teams worked so closely with me and each other to make the problem right. About a year before my wedding, I found my dream dress at Blue Sky Bridal's Portland location. My experience there was wonderful, the salon was so intimate, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Blue Sky Bridal recommended that I go to Alterations by Heather for dress alterations. I called and scheduled a fitting for three months out from the wedding. After the fitting when the seamstress went to begin the work, she discovered that the bodice of my dress was constructed in such a way that made it unalterable. Everyone at Blue Sky Bridal and Alteratons by Heather was astonished and said they had never seen a dress constructed this way. Blue Sky Bridal offered to credit the original cost of my dress towards another dress from their racks if this one could not be saved. I was so worried that I would have to give up my dream dress! I went in for an emergency fitting and my amazing seamstress was able to come up with a workaround that would save my dress! It was labor intensive and involved a lot of hand sewing, but she was willing to do it to help me keep the dress of my dreams. At my final fitting, when I wanted some additional adjustments made to my bustle, my seamstress was very willing to work with me and make additional tweaks to ensure I was completely satisfied! I cannot recommend Blue Sky Bridal and Alterations by Heather highly enough; they both went out of their way to make the problem right and to make sure that I was happy and taken care of. I got to wear an extremely unique dress on my wedding day, and I felt like a princess. Many thanks to the wonderful folks at Blue Sky Bridal and at Alterations by Heather. Affordable and easy
I had such a great experience with Blue Sky! I buy most of my clothes secondhand so it felt right to be able to buy my wedding dress secondhand as well. I was happy with the selection and the pricing was totally reasonable. I have recommended Blue Sky to several friends who have also ended up purchasing their dresses here. I can’t say enough good things! -

Blue Sky Bridal was the first place I tried on a wedding dress, and my consultant found me MY dress in the first few I put on. She really keyed in on what I wanted super-quickly and helped me find something that would fit with the vibe of what I wanted for my whole wedding. I bought and took it home the same day, which was great because it was May and I was getting married in August. The entire experience was wonderful and stress-free. I felt safe even though we're in a pandemic because the total number of people in the shop is limited and appointments don't really overlap. They had a wide range of sizes and I felt like there were tons of options in my size as well. Make this your first stop if you're a bride-to-be around Seattle! -

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Blue Sky Bridal! I chose to "book the boutique" for my shopping experience, and when we came in, my stylist, Payton, sent my guests to the back to wash their hands while she talked to me alone about what I wanted. She found several dresses that fit with the vision I had in mind, I had 2 favorites that I couldn't decide between and she was very supportive when I wanted to take some time to think about my decision. I ended up going back the next day to try on my favorite dresses again, and my $75 from booking the boutique went towards the cost of my dress! I can't wait to wear it when I get married in September! -

Found my dream dress here!
I had the pleasure of having Giselle as my Bridal Consultant and she was the sweetest and nicest person. She was so helpful and made me feel comfortable during my entire appointment. I felt nothing short of beautiful. I can honestly say that aside from the beautiful dresses, Giselle was the reason I had an amazing and memorable bridal dress shopping experience. All my thanks to her and every person I was able to meet at Blue Sky Bridal - they truly are a great group of people.
I randomly stumbled upon Blue Sky Bridal through a quick google search. After browsing through their Instagram, I saw a dress that I NEEDED to try. I gave them a call to confirm that they still had it and they did! That was the first dress I tried on and I fell in love. They had a great selection of dresses in my size, which is sometimes difficult as a mid-size girl, and in AMAZING condition. The dresses at Blue Sky Bridal were perfect for my Wedding that was less than 5 months away because I could take them home that day. I also purchased my veil there. They offer different appointment types - I recommend the "Book the Boutique" for a private, fun experience and the money you pay to book goes towards the dress you purchase! They also provided a list of recommended Tailors and I found mine through their list (Andra Bose - can't recommend her enough, she works magic and is the nicest person!). -

My experience at Blue Sky bridal was just amazing. There was a good selection of many dresses and they restricted the occupancy in the store so I actually had the whole store to myself when I was in there. They also allowed me to come back later in the same day to try the dress on again before I bought it. The woman that helped me, Nancy, was SO good at begin honest and also helping me figure out what I wanted v. what my mom told me about the dresses. She was encouraging and got me pumped about the dress that I loved. She was funny and light hearted and it felt like a celebration as she helped me try some veils and stand in the front of the store. She also loved my ring and it meant so much how excited and happy she was for me. Those little moments are what we all need in this difficult time. Also, might seem small to others, but she pronounced my fiancé's name right. It's a mexican name and everyone says it wrong. The store itself was also beautiful and it didn't feel like just getting a used dress, it felt like the whole staff and store was just there for me. There COVID procedures are safe as well. I can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day, and I highly recommend this place, I think Nancy made a huge positive impact so ask for her! -

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Blue Sky! Maddy made it so fun and relaxing, despite the Covid precautions that were in place. She pulled a few dresses that were on point with the style I was going for, and she even let us stay a few minutes past our 1-hour appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured to purchase, and the selection of styles and price range was amazing. I found my dress and can't wait to wear it! -

Blue Skye brides really DO have more fun! If you are looking for a wedding dress, I really cannot recommend this boutique highly enough. I chose to “rent the boutique” which means I had the entire boutique to myself and my guests for 90 minutes after hours, and dedicated 1:1 attention from their associate, Kali. The entire experience was incredibly fun! Kali lent us a tripod so that my sister could hook up her phone and video call our parents so that they could be part of the experience as well, despite being states away. Kali asked me a few questions about my budget and style preferences and helped me pull some dresses. While I tried them on, she continued to ask for feedback and pull more dresses for me - one of which was the beautiful “this is the one!” dress I took home! After I made my choice, she helped my sister and I celebrate by taking our photo and gifting us a bottle of champagne.
This was truly an amazing experience, and one that I couldn’t have possibly imagined especially in the middle of a pandemic. While there were a few more rules (such as having to keep the mask on at all times, including when trying on the dresses), it did not at all hamper the fun of trying on the dresses and the beauty of the look. -

I had such an amazing experience here with Polly and Kali! I would 1,000% percent recommend coming to this boutique. They have a really wide range of dresses and price points, so I had a lot of options to choose from. If you are reading this in the era of COVID-19, I would definitely book the boutique if you can! I felt like a movie star, with me getting to pick out my own dresses to start and Polly and Kali picking out dresses based on what I like from there- I ended up saying yes to a dress that they had picked out for me! I also had people Zoom in via my phone and they had a tripod we could use which was perfect! The whole experience felt very safe, yet as normal and fun of an experience as can be while making sure safety is a top priority! I cannot stress enough how amazing my experience shopping at Blue Sky Bridal was!!! I had been to another shop earlier in the day and was honestly feeling defeated about finding a gown. The women who helped us were INCREDIBLE. They made me and my girls feel welcome and comfortable and gave excellent feedback. I appreciated that they were honest about the pros and cons of each dress and offered solutions to any cons they stated! The dress I ended up buying (THE dress) was one they picked out and I honestly wasn’t going to try it on at first because it wasn’t what I had in mind. It was perfect! They listened to me and found me the perfect dress. I will forever recommend going there to everyone. My dress needed no alterations and even had bustle already! I also loved how at the end they took a polaroid of my friends and I with a sign that said I found my dress! So cute! Highly highly recommend. -

A Bride during Covid
When I had made my appointment at Blue Sky Bridal Portland, I was a little upset at the fact that I would be missing out on the normal “bridal experience”...getting to shop and try-on dresses with my whole bridal party, mom, and my future mother in-law there to take part in this very special and memorable time. Because of Corona Virus, I was only allowed to bring one guest (which was my mom of course!) and she couldn’t shop the racks with me and help me pick out styles for me to try on and of course we had to wear a mask the whole time. Going into the appointment I was a little nervous that the whole experience would be taken away from me, but that wasn’t the case one single bit. When we got there, we were greeted at the door with excitement and got the whole spiel how the appointment would work (with all the new rules/guidelines with Covid) and got introduced to my stylist for the day, Nancy. Nancy was so nice and friendly and really made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment I met her. She walked with me (keeping social distancing in mind!) as I browsed the racks and picked out styles that I thought I wanted to try on. After trying on a couple dresses and not finding the ONE, I was starting to get pretty discouraged. Then Nancy brought me one she thought I should try on. I couldn’t believe I had missed this dress. In the beginning I had explained to Nancy, things I liked and wanted in my dress as well as price points I wanted to stay between. This dress was exactly everything I explained to Nancy and the price point was right on the dot with what I wanted to spend. I could not believe it! Nancy definitely made this experience special and memorable, for a Bride during Covid. Thank you so much Nancy from Blue Sky Bridal Portland! -

I had such a great experience at the Seattle Blue Sky Bridal! My first appointment was with Giselle and she was awesome! I had been to BHLDN (Anthropologie's bridal line) already and found a dress I thought was my number one, but it was pushing my budget max. So I wanted to look at a consignment shop and try on a bigger variety of dress styles just to be sure I actually loved that first dress. And I'm so glad I did! They only do one appointment at a time, so I got to peruse all the dresses in the shop with my grandma, mom and friends and pick out about 6 dresses I wanted to try on. I told Giselle the dresses I tried on at BHLDN that I had liked and she knew every one of them! She was able to steer me towards some similar dresses and then she picked out some dresses that she thought I would like. It was so great because I wasn't going to pull those for myself! They have a cute and comfy couch set up for your small entourage and then we tried each dress on. Giselle set up each dress for me in the changing room and let you me put it on privately and she came in and zipped them up. I never felt rushed while deciding what I liked and disliked about each dress, and she took my feedback and pulled other dresses for me! One of the dresses I didn't think was going to work for me was one of the last ones I tried on, and I am so glad she pulled it because it was the dress I fell in love with! I didn't get it that day because I wanted to think about it, but I went back 3 days later and tried it on again and decided it was my dress! They provided me with a list of seamstresses they recommend for alterations also which was very helpful!

While I didn't find "the one" at Blue Sky Bridal Seattle, I had the best experience here during the search for my wedding dress. I worked with Mikaela, who was super knowledgeable about fit, fabric and everything wedding dress related. Blue Sky Bridal has a great variety of consigned and sample dresses, and Mikaela was able to help me filter down to the exact cut that I didn't know I wanted! Prices are very reasonable as well - she was even able to offer a specific discount on my out-of-budget choice of that evening. Overall, I appreciated that she was very receptive and actually listened to what I wanted, liked and didn't like. The dress that she pulled based on my parameters ended up being my favorite that evening! -

Blue Sky Bridal was my first stop out of 3 stores for dress shopping. I could not stop thinking of Blue Sky Bridal and the dresses I had tried on, despite visiting two other shops. So, I eventually returned to get my dream dress! The store was adorable and the employees were incredibly helpful. Liz was my stylist and I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me find my dress! She made me feel so comfortable and even helped me gain some confidence while trying on dresses. After purchasing my dress, they ladies sent me a list of recommended stores for alterations. I would absolutely recommend Blue Sky Bridal for everyone to experience and hopefully find the dress of their dreams! -

Everyone at Blue Sky Bridal was warm, friendly, helpful, and honest! I worked with Cass and showed her a few of the dresses I had loved from another boutique. She immediately recognized my favorite dress - they had just gotten the exact same dress in the day prior! I tried on a few other gorgeous dresses before re-trying my favorite dress that I had tried on at the other boutique. I loved it and was SO excited - the price was almost half of the original dress from the other boutique. However, it had been altered and was snug around my hips and a lil on the short side. Cass told me that they had previously looked at the alterations on this dress and said it should be easy to let out - however she could not make any promises. Thankfully Blue Sky Bridal lets you take the dress to a tailor to double check that the alterations you want/need are possible and won't be crazy expensive! They just took down my card info and gave me 3 days to take to a tailor - they even provided me a list of recommendations. I went and saw Andra who was absolutely amazing. I can get all the alterations I need to about $200! That means with tax and alterations included this dress will be around a total of $1100. The dress at the other boutique without alterations or tax was $1400! I feel like I got a great deal AND I love how eco-friendly it is having a consigned wedding gown. I am super happy with my experience at Blue Sky Bridal! They were over-communicative, eager to help, were never pushy, and I felt like they truly had my best interests at heart. I couldn't be happier! -

Just got home from my first (and last) dress shopping experience at Blue Sky Bridal and it was incredible. While it is work to go through the hundreds of dresses, they have an amazing selection of new, sample and once worn gowns. Brit was really wonderful to work. She was patient, knowledgeable and so helpful. She even celebrated like she was part of our group when I chose my dress. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, selection and price point. I bought my dress from blue sky seattle back in February for my August wedding. I have never felt more beautiful than when I wore that dress! I knew that I wanted to get my wedding dress from either a wedding dress non-profit, or from a consignment store. First, because I was on a budget, but also because I loved the idea of potentially supporting a non-profit that gives back to other women, and I also love the idea of being more "green" and intentional about buying clothes. So I had been to a lot of different places before I walked into Blue Sky Bridal and I am so glad that I did. I heard about them when I was at a Portland Wedding Expo, and I made an appointment with them right then and there. They have so many beautiful dresses; I'm not sure what the largest sizes they carry are, but they at least have sizes 0-16 (probably more, but I was busily sorting through the 12s and 14s during my appointment). Unlike some other consignment and used dress stores, each dress is in it's own bag, keeping it clean and protected from tearing or falling down. And what I really appreciated was that each dress has a picture of the dress on it, so you can see how the dress is actually supposed to fall and what it looks like off the rack and out of the bag (sometimes it's really difficult to tell how a dress is supposed to look before you try it on, so this saved a lot of time). The staff there are exceptionally nice and supportive; they want you to find the right dress for you, and never pressure you into a sale. They also referred me to a wonderful alterations place, Alterations by Heather, which is who I ended up using to alter my dress! I would absolutely recommend going here to try on dresses, and hopefully find the one that makes you feel like it's the right one for your special day. -

I had a Wonderful experience at Blue Sky Bridal! MiQuayla (Mikaela) and Cass were absolutely Amazing! My first appt was with MiQuayla and she really made me feel comfortable and at home through the whole process of finding me my Perfect Dress! I didn't have anyone with me as I haven't been in the area for very long, and she was so kind, patient and helpful and gave me the honest feedback I needed and even helped with FaceTiming my sister!
She wasn't helping me find just any dress, she genuinely wanted me to find the One. And I did!
Cass helped me for my second appt but MiQuayla even stayed a bit late to help too! They are both just Great!

Blue Sky has a great selection of dresses for being a small shop, and they really seem to take great care of them. They are a Bridal Consignment so the dresses you try are the dresses you Buy, and you can tell they really make an effort to keep them beautiful.

I knew from the second I saw a dress online, that I only wanted that one. I found out, that they didn't make them anymore and nowhere had it. I was heartbroken. Then I found this store that had the dress! It literally was the happiest moment since I got engaged. All the dresses here are in excellent condition and at an excellent price. This store helps to show you that you should never give up on what you want. The staff are the sweetest, kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. I would recommend anyone go to this store first before going elsewhere. It will simply amaze you ♡ -

I had very specific modesty requirements when I walked in. Heather was amazing!! She knew all about garment construction and alterations. I left today with a dress that I’m OBSESSED with and I have very minimal alterations to make. There was a huge selection of sizes and styles! 100% recommend going to blue sky bridal!!!! -

Maddie was an awesome Stylist. She was super helpful and accommodating. The whole staff was so friendly. The seamstress even made time between her appts. to give me a quote. The value was great too! I had a great experience at BlueSky. They were very responsive to my appointment request and were very nice when I wanted to bring more people with me than I originally thought. The dresses are arranged by size and the stylist let me browse the racks and pick which I wanted to try on. This might be stressful if you don't know what you are looking for but I loved it because I didn't have to try to describe my vision to the stylist and hope they pulled dresses I liked. You only get to try 8 dresses but I found that was a lot. Most dresses were under $1000 and they had a lot of new dresses too! The store was adorable and the stylist was very helpful and friendly without being pushy at all. I never felt pressured to buy so when I found the dress, I knew I was getting it for the right reasons. I would send all of my friends to BlueSky! -

A great experience
I had a wonderful experience. They allowed me to try on 8 dresses and then retry on my favorites. It's a consignment dress store, so prices are super good. You do have to find your own seamstress for alterations, but they have suggestions for you! -

As a plus size bride, I was dreading trying on wedding dresses. My wedding is 5 1/2 months away and I only scheduled my appointment to try on dresses for the first time because it was my mom’s birthday and that’s how she wanted to spend her day. After reading the amazing reviews for Blue Sky Bridal, I figured it would be a good place to start. It is a small boutique with a mix of consignment and sample dresses at discounted prices. From the moment I met my consultant Cass, I was completely comfortable with her. She explained how Bridal sizing works and helped me pick out a variety of dresses to see what I felt good in. Somehow, based off of the few comments that I made about the first set of dresses that I pulled, she pulled a gown for me that made me start to cry as soon as I looked at myself in the mirror. I definitely did not think I would find my dress at my first appointment, but I found a dress that is so me and I feel stunning in. Since it was at the top of my budget, Cass even gave me a small discount. For a process that I was dreading, it went SO perfectly and I can not recommend Blue Sky Bridal enough! -

Great experience!! It was so nice to be able to shop and not feel pressured to buy anything... I actually came back a couple of times and the gal remembered the styles that I liked, and was patient and helpful each time. Wound up with a brand new Sophia Tolli dress at a great price!

I found the perfect dress at Blue Sky Bridal! Their team was fabulous to work with. Very kind and easy to communicate with. This was the 5th shop I've been to to try on dresses and I was feeling defeated by this point in finding the right one. But my consultant worked with me and finally the very last dress I tried on was absolutely perfect. To top it all off she worked with me to the best of their flexibility on a price that was an absolute dream! It fit perfectly in my budget and I ended up getting an absolute steal on a designer gown! They have a beautiful selection of dresses that are all marked down greatly for those looking to stay within a reserved budget. Seriously can't thank Blue Sky enough! Giselle and Andra were so wonderful to work with! I had gone to a different bridal boutique earlier in the day before my appointment at Blue Sky Bridal and the difference was night and day. The space is so warm and welcoming and Andra took the time to listen to what I was looking for and helped pick out a couple dresses. I fell in love with a particular dress and made a follow-up appointment the following weekend and purchased my dress! This is the first place I went to start trying on wedding dresses and the first dress I tried on was so perfect, I just couldn’t shake it. Alyson Sent on 10/12/2018Let me begin by stating that I am not a woman who’s been dreaming of my wedding day ever since I was a little girl. And even throughout this planning process, I still find so many things unnecessary or just plain silly.
I decided to make a day out of dress shopping since I figured why not have a fun day out with my girls. I went into this day absolutely certain I was not buying a dress.
We had one appointment earlier in the day, which went okay but we found it to be a bit chaotic because the shop was packed, and overall the experience made us feel like we weren’t worth their time.
As soon as we stepped into Blue Sky Bridal, it was like heaven. Quiet and intimate yet also very inviting and warm. Giselle greeted us immediately and walked us through the process, and we were set free to roam in the sea of dresses. After gathering a bunch, I started trying them on one-by-one.
What I truly appreciated was how Giselle was both professional and real - case in point: after looking at some of the dresses we picked out, she asked me if she could put some back because she already knew I wasn’t going to like them. Her honesty was seriously refreshing and I knew it meant that she truly cared about what I liked and would want.
And then it happened. I found the one - the one I couldn’t stop thinking about after first putting it on, the one where I saw myself walking down the aisle to my future husband in, the one that if my little girl self did dream about my wedding day, this was it. It fit like it was made for me AND she was able to get it down to a great price. So of course, I had to say yes to the dress!
A huge, huge thank you to Giselle for providing me and my girls with the most amazing shopping experience and for proving that even a wedding skeptic like me can too find my dream dress! -

I don’t believe in “the one” dress, but Giselle found me my dress. She processed the dress the night before, and was up until 1 am processing dresses! Now that’s commitment to your craft. She even emailed me a list of tailors and gave me tips on how to shop for one.
If you’re thinking of going, it’s well worth the trip! My dress was almost 50% off of the original price and I couldn’t be happier. -

I work in the area and walked by the store. Maddie helped me and made me, my best friend, and step-mom very comfortable! She helped me feel beautiful and special! I found my dream dress and was well-informed on what alterations would cost. My dress was only $600 and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Thank you Maddie!! You rock my world!
