A Royal Wedding
I cannot recommend Vangie enough as your wedding planner. My husband and I came to her not only with our wishes for a traditional Hindu wedding, but our parents’ as well, and she executed everything flawlessly. The day before the wedding at Bella Collina, we did a final walkthrough and went over all of our backup plans. Vangie had already communicated with all of our vendors, putting us at ease & allowing us to relax and soak in our last moments before tying the knot.
On the day of the wedding, it was projected to rain for a short period, but Vangie worked her magic and insisted on having the ceremony outside for us, despite how difficult it may have been for her team when setting up. She pivoted beautifully, pushing the ceremony back to accommodate our wishes & working closely with the club and our vendors. We were able to make up for time and still get through everything we had scheduled for the ceremony and reception, with enough time to unwind and dance with our loved ones until the end of the night.
Vangie’s knowledge of our venue and its team, combined with years of industry expertise truly shined on our wedding day. Our guests did not feel the impact of any changed plans or hiccups, and my husband and I were able to just enjoy our day without worrying about any of the details.
If you are looking for someone who is culturally competent, assertive, detail-oriented, experienced, and just a blast to be around, Vangie is the one. She will make sure your day is unforgettable. -

I can not even say enough about Vangie! She did exactly what she said she would and so much more. Our wedding was straight out of a fairytale, the flowers and decor, were far above our expectations. Baby Shower Event Planner Review
Vangie was very attentive every step of the way from out initial phone call to wrapping up our event. She knew everything we would need to bring our vision to life. The day of our event she was all over every detail and she executed everything to perfection. Her pricing is more than fair and she’s was easily worth every dollar she asked for. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family if they need an event planner. My wife is extremely detailed oriented and not easily pleased but even my wife enjoyed working with Vangie and she impressed with the entire experience. -

I would choose Vangie every time!!!
If you’re looking for the best of the best, look NO FURTHER. When I tell you my wedding would not have been possible without Vangie, I mean it!! She handled everything, made prices extremely reasonable for us, and ensured I was going to have the best possible wedding I could within my budget. The day of, she was by my side throughout everything. Every step was accounted for. Every unplanned thing that happens was fixed before I even knew it was happening. Vangie is the BEST!! Love her!!
I heard nightmare stories from other brides how their wedding planner wasn’t there for their cake cutting, didn’t get things done fast enough, etc. That would never happen with Vangie. She is prompt and does everything perfectly.
If you’re thinking of going with someone else, I promise you won’t find anyone better than Vangie. She knows everything in the area and is worth every penny!! -

Best Day Ever!
Vangie helped coordinate my wedding that, from starting to plan to the big day, was only about 6 months. It felt as though if I was lost on what I needed, if there was anything I was missing or if I needed some advice on what would be best, Vangie had all the answers. As a young(ish) bride with all the groomsmen and bridesmaids in their 20s, this was a tough group to make sure that everyone is listening and ready to make the day perfect, but Vangie took on that stress for me and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. Throughout the whole night of the wedding, she made sure to let me know what was coming next, that I was comfortable in my seat, and was always on top of everything. They say to always expect something to go wrong on your wedding day because nothing is ever perfect, but I can tell you that mine was. There might be things that actually went awry during the event, but Vangie made sure that it was fixed before I even noticed. We also used her for our flowers as well which turned out absolutely beautiful. I am more simple in my taste for flowers (and on a budget) but she knew exactly what I wanted and how to make it look so elegant and even made sure I had peonies (my favorite flower) for my bouquet even though they were not in season. I appreciate her so much and I know for sure that she made our wedding the best day of our lives! -

Since the day I met Vangie I knew that she was the absolute perfect fit for us. She made the whole experience like a true fairy tale and was able to grasp exactly what my husband and I wanted for our timeless and elegant wedding. From a collage of pictures of what we desired to the execution of bringing our vision to life, Vangie is the epitome of visionary. I was a bride with an eclectic flair, I wanted a vintage glam, roaring 20s kind of wedding with “jewel tone “colors and I couldn’t find anything on the internet that truly captured my vision. This is where Vangie came in and conquered helping us to fine tune what we wanted and so flawlessly combine two worlds of design!! Vangie, you exceeded our expectations, all of the elements you encouraged us to incorporate made our intimate wedding at Bella Collina continue to be the talk of our family and friends. You were supportive of our budget and helped us decide which features would provide us the most elegance within our budget.
From the mirrored runway, gold Oscar chairs, to the gold flatware, and ostrich plumes with a touch of pampas grass you designed ALL of it brilliantly! One of my favorite things about Vangie is her attention to detail, it is impeccable. Even though I had a hiccup the morning of my wedding with my vendors timeliness and ran almost an hour behind getting to the venue, Vangie worked her magic and kept us on our timeline the day of our soirée (wedding). All of our guests raved at lengths about how our soirée stayed on time, flowed smoothly, and that they had never been to a wedding that “started and ended” on time; my guests said they forgot they were even at a wedding. Vangie made sure our event was elegant, intimate, and FABULOUS!
Vangie ensured we enjoyed our night by reminding us to be present with each other =, enjoy the moment, and enjoy our day. Vangie showed professionalism throughout the process. She guided us through the wedding tasting including our private tasting and helped guide us in ensuring that our theme stayed “cohesive” from the décor all the way down to the food! She ensured our vendors stayed on schedule and helped us to navigate enjoying our night without worry. Another amazing detail is how responsive and available Vangie was throughout the planning process, she was always quick to respond to our, text messages, emails, and phone calls. This was important especially with us being out of state which helped to put my mind at ease making the entire process less stressful. We are absolutely thrilled to have Vangie coordinate our special day. Our wedding was postponed 3 times due to covid and being from Canada we had to plan everything virtually. Vangie stuck by ourside for 2 long years after each and every date change and kept us update on everything. In fact, she kept us in check in all our preparations and to do lists making sure everything went smoothly on the day of. Guys, her attention to detail is everything. We knew from the moment we met Vangie that she was the perfect person to plan our wedding. She is so chic, elegant, and put together - which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Choosing Vangie for our wedding day was the best decision we could have made! She was truly amazing and a blessing!! Our original florist pulled out very close to our wedding date so we scrambled to find a professional, quality & top-notch florist and came across Vangie's Events. From the very first day we spoke she was not only present but calming and reassuring. Her poised and confident demeanor will put you at ease and really shows her years of experience working with different brides and weddings. I was very specific and detailed in the vision I had for the wedding & Vangie was extremely reassuring that she got us. On our wedding day, I was more than blown away. I truly believe her florals made our wedding space, ambiance and vibe the one we had always dreamed of. She took every single detail I mentioned and brought it to life (actually going above our vision!). Guests were enamored with our ceremony & reception look, it was just PERFECT! Vangie really takes the time to get to know her brides and personally presents you with your bouquet on your special day which is truly an amazing personal touch! As we live abroad & on a completely different timezone, Vangie was always more than available to take our calls and questions at all odd hours just to ensure our minds were at ease. We met for the first time ON the wedding day but it honestly felt like she knew us her whole life and completely captured the vision we aimed for on our day. We cannot recommend her enough!

Planning a wedding is already very stressful but adding Covid on top of it makes it even more so.
Vangie was our wedding planner and florist from the beginning and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. Choosing Vangie was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Vangie was a dream to work with. Vangie is completely and utterly incredible!
From the moment we met with Vangie, her calm and relaxing demeanor won me over! She was so confident that she could create our special day exactly as we’d imagined it, and boy...DID SHE DELIVER. She created a day even more incredible and gorgeous than I could have ever imagined for us. Her coordinator skills were out of this world (coming from a girl with a very difficult family AND wedding party!) Vangie handled everything with grace and poise. We were SO relieved! Wow wow wow!!! Where do I begin to explain how marvelous my wedding was. I do not say this because it was indeed “my wedding”, but because I really do mean it, and it all was thanks to the wonderful Vangie and her team!
Vangie was a preferred vendor at my venue, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. From the first time I contacted Vangie, I knew she was the one for us. From her calming tone, to ensure you that you’re truly in good hands, to the smallest details thought of. I mean she had EVERYTHING under control, no surprises, absolutely zero worries whatsoever for us. From the moment that I saw Vangie on my wedding day, ALL my nervousness and worries completely disappeared. She took care of absolutely everything for us. She’s a perfectionist and oh my goodness is she good at what she does. Her decorations and design were beyond my expectations. I had a vision of how I wanted certain things to look, but Vangie took it to a whole new level of beautiful and perfect. When she took my husband and I for the first time to show us what she had done with the decorations and designing I GOT GOOSEBUMPS!!! Wow just wow!!! It’s obvious that anything she sets her hands on, it will become gold!
Vangie also made my bridal bouquet and it was the most beautiful choice of flowers and colors. I showed her a few inspirational photos and she made it come alive to my own custom and unique design.
My mom is the type of person that wants to help with everything, and she couldn’t understand why I didn’t need much help from my family for my big day. I kept re-assuring her over and over again that everything was under control. After the wedding ended my mom called me and said “Now I understand why sweetie. Your wedding planner was phenomenal. Everything was beyond perfect and smooth”
So thank you Vangie, for giving my husband and I the wedding of our dreams. Please continue to make many many more couples happy!!! We couldn’t be more grateful to you. -

Vangie is nothing short of amazing. From the very first phone call, I knew she was the one for me! She has every aspect of weddings down to a t. The professionalism and beauty in the work that Vangie does is incredible. Her elegance is magnetic. I am a bit of a projectionist, so I thought planning my wedding would make me go a little crazy, but Vangie made everything so easy. She was so incredibly comforting. Her vision and the way she would speak so beautifully on every aspect of the planning process and the wedding day quelled any and all fears and stresses I could have possibly had. I thought the week of the wedding would be stressful, but that week ended up being so much fun. I knew Vangie had absolutely everything under control and I didn't have to worry. I knew I could count on her with anything. All of my friends and family told me before the wedding, "don't stress the small stuff. There will always be a few parts of your wedding day that do not go to plan." I want to start off by saying I could not even imagine our wedding without Vangie. From our first phone call I knew she was exactly who we needed to make our vision come to life. Vangie is the most fabulous wedding planner. The entire experience of planning my wedding with her made me feel like I was a celebrity bride. She always has everything together and is extremely flexible. My fiancé and I planned our wedding with her while I was in pharmacy school and while he was practicing medicine. We didn’t have much time to sit and twiddle our thumbs and plan all day long. We sent her pictures and she made it happen. Our wedding looked like something out of a magazine. I didn’t cry walking down the aisle because I was so happy with how everything turned out. If you want a real life fairytale wedding and to feel like a King & Queen. Book Vang. Regardless of your decor budget, you’ll have an amazing experience. Her services are worth every penny and her name holds weight. My friends and family members are still raving about how great of a planner she is. Not only did she plan the wedding, she taught participants how to hold bouquets, the proper way to walk down the aisle, she helped me get dressed, saved us food so that we didn’t miss out on cocktail hour... the list goes on. -

Helen Sent on 03/17/2018SPECTACULAR, Stellar & Excellence ! Those words are still shy of what Vangie delivered the day of! 5 stars are not enough! She worked with us to put an EPIC wedding, the one in a life time wedding. From day one she listened, she had ideas, she is in control and was confident with not only contracting the vendors but putting all the different wheels in motion. This was not easy; the bride and groom in another state with odd hours, the host of the party in south Florida who had a vision and strives for perfection and is quite demanding. Vangie was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Patient yet set timelines and goals and was in control. She was open minded, receptive to our request and vision and offered ideas and alternatives as well. She not only did our planning , design & coordination, but she also did the decor with flowers, candelabras, lights, signs and so much more. We would not be truthful if even after the planning stage was done, the day before we still had a degree of angst of the unknown. It clearly was purely our own inner doubt. The day before at the rehearsal , the day of in prepping, and the whole event was flawless. How did she do it??? Pure Excellence, experience and professionalism and a true devotion to her clients. We were all in awe! How so many moving parts all turned in sync without a glitch. The vision, the hope of an EPIC wedding and all that entails came true. Thank you. Thank you for making a dream come true. Every single little detail, the timing, and the big details were exactly as we had dreamt of, discussed with you and planned, and then some! Its been almost 2 months since the big day and still the whole family is receiving compliments of how everything was so beautiful, elegant, flawless, and detailed. The best wedding they have ever been to. Those compliments belong to you Vangie. We credit you with those every time. You will forever be a huge part of the memory of my daughter's wedding. Let's do it again!

Shelby Sent on 03/06/2018My husband and I looked around for a long time for a wedding planner for our big day, and finally had the pleasure of meeting Vangie. From day 1, she made us feel very comfortable with the planning process, giving us the structure we needed while also listening to our requests. She was the first person to really listen to what we were asking for and she crafted our dream wedding. It was a timeless and classic event - a beautiful black tie affair. On the day of the wedding, the weather was not cooperating, so helped us to rent 20 outdoor heaters for our sunset wedding. She kept our wedding perfectly on schedule, we didn't have to think about a thing. She even lent me her grandmothers blue fox fur stole from the 1920s to complete the classy and timeless look on the coldest day of the year for our outdoor wedding. I can't speak highly enough of Vangie and her team. She will make your day beyond special and brilliantly beautiful.

Paula Sent on 11/20/2017We had the complete privilege in Vangie’s events of distinction being our wedding planner and decor florist for our wedding at Bella Collina on the 3rd of October 2017.We are from the UK were a bit apprehensive of booking a wedding in Florida but with Vangie’s help we had no need to worry at all! From emailing me back in the middle of the night (with time difference) to making my vision for our big day 100× better than i could even imagine and making them reality she is amazing !!! Vangie went above and beyond to give me and my husband Dominic the most amazing day possible!!! When me and Dominic arrived in the States Vangie wanted to meet us at the venue (which we had not seen in real life before) and she showed us around and we went over final detail, she is such a lovely lady and makes you feel soo comfortable around her ! We left feeling sooo exited for our wedding day two days later.Vangie and her assistant made me feel like a complete princess for the day from start to finish, nothing was a trouble for her. As nervous as I was on my wedding day , as soon as I arrived Bella Collina and Vangie greeted me she made me feel at ease and calmed me down right away ! The work that she put into our wedding surely showed of on the day , everything went perfect from start to finish and that is all down to Vangie’s events of distinction!! Another amazing side of having Vangie De la conga as our wedding planner was she also has her florist called Blossoms Arrangements, we went through flower designs and Vangie know exactly what I wanted without me even knowing myself!! Sounds crazy right.. but it's true , I said my opinion and she came up with something a little different and I was like, oh yes Vangie that is exactly what I want! When Vangie revealed my bouquet i actually was reduced to tears ! It was the most beautiful and perfect thing I had ever seen ! Our aisle flowers were lovely too but our centrepieces!They were amazing! Vangie, you made our day perfect THANK YOU!

Julie Sent on 04/02/2016We got married in October at Bella Collina Country Club in Montverde and used Vangie as our wedding coordinator. She also did the floral arrangements and décor. We could not have been happier with her. Everything was perfect! She spent a lot of time with us prior to the wedding planning out all the little details. She was happy to take all of our phone calls, responded quickly to our texts and emails, and met with us many times to make sure our Big Day was exactly how we envisioned. When our wedding weekend finally came, my husband and I were both very relaxed and left the rest up to Vangie. Our whole weekend was perfectly planned out and the wedding went on flawlessly even with a last minute ceremony location change due to the weather. Our florals and décor were absolutely breath taking. We had many compliments from our guests about how well everything was planned out and executed and how beautiful the venue and décor was. I am so glad that we used Vangie. She is very professional and attentive. She makes every one of her brides happiness throughout their wedding her top priority. I highly recommend Vangie. She is the best! -

Vangie was absolutely a dream to work with! She made sure everything on my day ran so smoothly beyond just floral. She matched my vision PERFECTLY since our first meeting to where I had such a unique idea for my maid of honors/bridesmaids "bouquet" to the day of making sure I was happy every step of the way. Everything was absolutely perfect and dreamy and intimate just like I wanted and I can't thank her enough for having her! -
