  On the fence? Just get Maddie!

  The venue we fell in love with required to have one of their three preapproved wedding planners in order to book the venue. After interacting with all three planners, we chose to go with Maddie. We picked day of coordinating because I was iffy about having someone else be so involved. She would step in at the 1 month before mark and organize the vendors for the day of. Months later, Maddie is reaching out via her portal to let me know she will be stepping in soon and I don't check my email frequently so I miss it. Thank goodness she later reaches out via text. I get her most of our vendors info and she starts working on the timeline. I didn't have the HMUA confirmed yet and our cake baker and videographer changed but Maddie was patient. The week of the wedding up until me getting ready, I'd tell Maddie I'd like this and this to happen but if it doesn't, its okay because I wasn't really sure what all I could have Maddie do but she would be like "yes, we can do that". The day before our wedding , there is a 70% chance of rain and we have an outdoor venue. Maddie found us a second venue that is indoors and we met there to see the space, details and we book it. Maddie really made that go as smooth as possible. She took care of notifying all of the vendors. It was then I realized I was so grateful we had her! At rehearsal for the ceremony, she took over all of the questions being directed at us and I was grateful all I had to do was walk up and down the aisle a few times. We didn't get her to coordinate a rehearsal dinner because we all just went to a restaurant and eat. The next day, the day of the wedding, Maddie and her team were amazing! We were running about an hour behind her timeline I think but it wouldn't have really been my wedding if it wasn't. They would come up to us very little because they were already figuring it out or to ask how we were doing. Overall, I recommend Maddie and her team to anyone on the fence about getting a wedding planner/coordinator!!

  Truly better together

  Let me start by saying that fiancé and I are “shy extroverts” …. We love being around people but sometimes shy to reach out. It made wedding planning really nerve wracking for us!!!
  Enter Maddie: we reached out to Maddie a month before we decided to get married. We wanted a planner who was relatable, understanding, and judgement-free. Two other wedding planners already turned us down since the date was so close. Maddie was the only planner who was quick to respond and reassured us she could make it happen in 4 weeks. She was upfront and honest about the costs, and helped us make decisions with our tight budget. Maddie was there for every step. She knows what she’s doing, and she’s so good at what she does. Unsure of your vision? No problem, Maddie will refine it. Want unique touches? Maddie has endless ideas! Feel weird about talking budget? No sweat, no judgements and no stress around Maddie. Have a question? She is a text/call away.
  Maddie didn’t feel like a stranger—Maddie truly cared about us and felt like a friend.

  On the day of our ceremony, I knew everything was taken care of, and all I had to do was enjoy the day. I was so incredibly relaxed because I knew that all would be well. As someone who is anxious most of the time, that is saying a lot! The feeling of relaxation on the biggest day of my life is something I really wanted, and Maddie made that possible. I cannot thank her enough for giving me such peace knowing the entire day would be perfect.
  Maddie was such a valuable part of the event, and truly without her, we may not have had this special day. Even when I said something quietly, she made sure I was always heard and advocated for us. I can’t thank her enough for noticing small things like that.

  Saved my wedding!

  I was an overwhelmed bride living in Fort Worth trying to plan our wedding in Corpus Christi. My MOH found Maddie, and from the first time we spoke I could tell she is an expert at her craft.
  
  We had four months to plan about 75% of the wedding. Maddie gave me a timeline and really made sure that I got what I wanted every step of the way. I'm not a wedding savvy person, so there were a lot of things I didn't know about or didn't have an opinion on. I really loved that she took time to explain everything to me (repeatedly) and if I didn't have an opinion on something, she had suggestions or examples for me to use.
  
  Our wedding day was flawless. She checked in often, everyone knew what they were doing, and she was able to make changes at our request on the fly.
  
  I would highly recommend Better Together Planning :)

  The best decision for your wedding

  I never leave reviews, but I'd feel guilty if I didn't leave a review for Better Together Planning. I worked the event as a videographer, so my perspective comes from a vendor. This was by far the best experience I've had when filming weddings, and I've filmed well over a 100 at this point. Saying they're professional, just isn't enough. They kept everything moving flawlessly. I can't say enough about them. You're literally saving money if you hire them. I hope to work with them again!

  Best decision ever

  Hiring Maddie was the best decision I made while wedding planning. She was always on top of everything. She walked me through everything from creating timelines, keeping in touch with vendors, navigating COVID, being at the rehearsal and all other things that go into making sure the wedding runs smoothly. She is a phenomenal wedding coordinator/planner/everything. We would not have had the best night of our lives if it weren’t for her. I would definitely recommend her services.

  Superior Experience - Perfect Event

  The second best decision I made regarding my wedding, after the selection of my groom, was hiring Better Together Advocates to help me plan and execute my day.
  After an incredibly long engagement, my fiancé and I had still not selected a date because I found the idea of planning the event overwhelming and intimidating. I would sit down to browse Pinterest pages or “The One” catalogs and be unable to narrow my likes and interests. I lacked vision and direction, but as established procrastinators, we decided we needed a deadline to get it all done. I gave myself ten weeks (during a pandemic) to pull off my perfect day. I decided to host a small event at my home for only thirty people.
  Better Together was not the first event planning company I reached out to. I contacted two other local companies, but after talking to them it was VERY clear that we were not well suited for one another. One company tried to tell me what was possible – full of limitations and negativity, the other presented themselves as disorganized and sloppy and actually rolled her eyes at me when I was discussing my rough ideas and dreams.
  Maddie was the complete opposite. She was immediately receptive to my timeline, carved time out to meet with me, was friendly, positive and supportive of everything I had put together. She lovingly helped me craft my event by narrowing the focus, recommending amazing vendors and helpers, setting up timelines and appointments, doing advance research and legwork, attending consults with me, creating thought boards, and regularly following up and checking in to make sure we got everything done. She used her experience and knowledge to remind me of things that needed to be accomplished and provided invaluable ideas about things I never would have thought up or known about on my own. She was always one text message away, and without her support, I never would have ended up with the dream wedding we managed to pull off.
  Then there was the event itself. Maddie was there with two associates to make sure everything went flawlessly. She gracefully juggled the vendors, managed the setup and decorating, the timeline, the music, shepherded guests as necessary and even pulled off a venue remodel in the middle of the event, unaided (my plans were a little extravagant). I didn’t have to think about anything except how happy I was, how beautiful everything appeared, and how handsome my groom looked. After the event, while my guests and I enjoyed dancing and refreshments, Better Together Advocates cleared all the décor and prepared all the rental equipment for return. I didn’t have to do ANY clean-up, nor did any of my guests. It just took care of itself, like magic.
  I read a half dozen wedding planning books and one thing that I learned was that the personalities of the helpers and vendors are crucial. You want to feel comfortable with them, find chemistry with their personalities, so that they add to your big day in a positive and constructive manner.
  Working with Maddie and Better Together Advocates was a positive experience from beginning to end. She felt like a supportive friend, not a hired helper. It was a pleasure to have her in my home and at my most special day, and I could not offer enough praise or give her a high enough recommendation. If you If you are fortunate enough to have happened across their page, do not hesitate nor look elsewhere, Maddie and her team were flawless. She is worth her weight in gold.

  Maddie has been an absolutely fantastic wedding planner. She answered every single question we had quickly and with many great ideas. The whole planning process was structured, straight forward, and professional. Her coordination and decoration during the wedding was perfect. I recommend her help for your future wedding!

  Maddie-Our Day of Coordinator

  I meet Maddie at a bridal fair I attended. She was very warm and invited me to her booth where she was explaining how important it is to have a designated person to ensure everything runs smoothly on your big day. I then submitted my info into the raffle she was having. A few weeks later I was surprised to find out I had actually won-which meant I could receive a discount on her service packages.
  
  Fast forward-I hired her and she was so helpful throughout the process! She was just a phone call or text away, I could literally ask her anything.
  
  On our wedding day Maddie handled everything so well. She made sure everything was taken care of- down to the smallest details. I am so grateful I stopped to talk to her that day at the wedding fair. Our wedding day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without her help.

  Definitely would recommend!

  Maddie was on top of her game on my wedding day! She made sure everything went smoothly and when she thought something needed to be adjusted she always came to me first with her suggestion which I appreciated. She made sure everyone was taken care of. My family and the groom’s family raved about how sweet she was & how she moved quickly when cleaning up at the end of the night. I honestly don’t think I could’ve had such a stress free wedding day without her. She is so sweet and I would most definitely recommend her to anyone else thinking about getting a wedding planner/day of coordinator. And also, she’s affordable!

  I am beyond happy with Maddie and her team for their hard work and dedication ensuring our wedding way was perfect! Maddie (owner) was essential in the planning process and her expertise and advise was spot on! The quality of work, setup, and execution left me in tears when I saw the ceremony and reception.
