Bert was nothing short of amazing at capturing our photos for our wedding day. He got all of the shots I could've imagined and then some! He was so informative and polite when guiding me and my husband (who don't classify ourselves as photogenic LOL) to get these picture-perfect shots. Our parents and wedding party had nothing but great things to say about his personality and his talent. Needless to say, when we showed them a few pictures, they were in awe. I will continue to recommend Bert to anyone in NC for any of their professional photograph needs. Bert, thank you so much for giving us the photos of a lifetime that we will cherish for many years to come. Looking back at these brings me right back to the moment they were captured, and for that I am forever grateful. -

Where do we begin? There aren't enough words to properly express how thankful we are for Bert! Bert isn't "just a photographer", he was our impromptu coordinator, assistant and wore several more hats that I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention...and he did it all without being asked and with a smile. From having us cracking up in the freezing cold to capturing all of the perfect moments in between, I can't give this man enough stars! He captured every beautiful moment of our day and turned our photos into memorable masterpieces that we will cherish forever...if I'm being completely honest, I haven't stopped reliving our day and looking at the pictures! It's so rare today to find professionals with true heart and talent and we definitely found that with Bert! Amazing & experienced photographer!
I had no idea how lucky I was to have found Bert! I was busy trying to plan out photos and day of schedules and he is so experienced that he was able to provide me with a ton of guidance. He worked with every request or vision I had, but honestly he knew all the greatest shots and poses. He was quick and efficient, and I received my pictures so quickly that everyone was shocked. I am absolutely in love with my pictures and i'm so thankful to have found him. Our bridal party has mentioned several times how impressed they were with how quick we ran through photos so that we could get back to the festivities. Overall he did an amazing job from start to finish, not to mention the price is great! -

Bert is an EXCELLENT photographer!
We hired Bert to take our wedding photos at the castle. We met him at the wedding expo there and saw some of his previous work and we instantly knew we wanted to hire him. He was very flexible with timing for the day-of and took some amazing pictures we will have framed, it will be very hard to choose! We had a big bridal party and many family members who we wanted to take pictures with, Bert effortlessly went through all the photos we needed and we were able to do them all with enough time to gather for the reception to start right on time. And, even though it rained and thought we couldn't take any outside photos, he took some amazing pictures outside the castle that we will remember forever. Highly recommend Bert! -

I would book Bert again and again if I could. Not only was he one of the kindest souls I have ever met, he also was one of the main reasons I get to remember my wedding day. The photos he captured are irreplaceable and i wouldnt trade them for the world. Hire him immediately! You won't regret it!! -

I can not say enough about how fun it was taking our wedding photos with Bert. Not only does he know how to take perfectly lit photos in and around Castle McCulloch, but he went out of his way to capture our "medieval" theme with EVERY photo. Bert paid special attention to all the details we worked so hard to achieve for our Medieval-themed wedding. I truly had a blast taking each photo set, Bert had me relaxed and laughing throughout most — and he managed to capture wonderful candid moments as well. I can't wait to print out these amazing images he captured of our special day 🏰✨ -

Simply put, the best wedding photographer!
While touring our venue initially each bridal/wedding photo we commented on turned out to be Bert's. We instantly knew he would capture our style and vision for our big day. During our initial conversation he set our minds at ease, recommended other vendors, and shared his wedding knowledge, as well as, expertise with our venue. On the day of, he knew the plan, and kept us on track with pictures. His candids prior to and during the wedding/reception are priceless! We can't say enough good things about Bert, his professionalism, gorgeous pictures, and rapport. -

Bert was absolutely amazing to work with. He is so professional and has a great eye for lighting and angles. I was so nervous to be photographed for engagement photos and for our wedding but I think he could sense that I was nervous and made the shoot light hearted. Both our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out beautifully, not only that but he got our pictures back to us in less than a week. He was also by far the most fairly priced wedding photographer that we could find and had photographed a friends wedding who spoke very highly of him. -

I met Bert at the wedding show held at Castle McCulloch and immediately fell in love with his style of photography as well as his thoughtful, professional demeanor. I'm fairly pale and picked deeper colors for my wedding, so the whimsical white filtering some photographers use was just not going to work for me. Bert's style is vibrant, intimate, and highly detail oriented. Working with him day of for the wedding was such a treat as he was so very kind and helpful in making sure we got all of the pictures we wanted and even more that we didn't know we would want. He was there with us from the moment we arrived and left when we (the groom and I) left for the night, so we were able to get all of the wonderful family, wedding party, ceremony, and reception photos. I've heard when talking to other brides that some photographers leave during the reception and therefore miss out on so many of the fun and sweet pictures that come with it. But not Bert! Specifically if you are looking to have your wedding at Castle McCulloch, you are losing out by not booking him as he's incredibly experienced with the venue and really made this bride feel so special. -

Absolutely Amazing
We could not be happier with our decision to book Bert Reed as our photographer. He was truly amazing, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. He is extremely experienced and his skill and passion were clearly visible in his work. Bert made us all genuinely smile and knew exactly how to work with our large crowd in the most comfortable way. Not surprisingly, our pictures turned out beyond beyond perfect (and with less than a one week turnaround time!!!) . We could go on for days, so to sum things up- Working with Bert couldn't have been a better experience. Our families and friends are still talking about how amazing he was. If we could give him 10 stars we would. Thank you for everything, Bert. We will recommend you to everybody we know. -

I loved working with Bert Reed! His photos speak for themselves but beyond that, he was amazingly easy and professional to work with. He made my crazy bridezilla self feel at ease and comfortable from the first meeting until the send off photos. He listened to what I wanted and added his artistic vision to make every photo that I envisioned come to life beautifully. I have gotten so many compliments on my amazing pictures and have so many to choose from as we create our album with Bert. I couldn’t be happier with the way everything came out. Bert has an incredible eye along with many years experience which made him the perfect photographer for our special day. Thank you Bert! -

Bret was amazing and communicated with us through the whole process he helped us figure out the best time line so we could enjoy the wedding. He was quick but through he got so many great pictures and it was not a long and boring session, he made it fun and made it natural. During the reception and dancing he also got amazing photos he also took the time to ask us what we wanted and who we wanted to take pictures with which I really appreciate it that. His prices are affordable and you won’t be disappointed in his work!

He captured every moment beautifully, especially sweet shots with our son. It's been difficult to pick our favorites, simply because they are all so great!!
