    Stress free wedding day!

    We had an amazing experience with April, owner of Believeland Weddings. The day of the wedding she set up my decorations exactly how I envisioned them and was in contact with me all day long! She came to my venue walk through a few months prior and helped make some decisions about the set up and flow of the reception.

    She helped tear down the decor at the end of the reception. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of my wedding!

    Amazing experience

    April and her entire team were absolutely amazing! Honestly would 100% hire her again for any party. She made my wedding an absolute perfect day and I am so blessed to have had her as my coordinator!

    Amazing job!

    I was beyond happy with the help I received from April on my wedding day and during the many months prior. She was flexible and made sure to not only keep my day running smoothly, but my planning beforehand as well. She was professional, prompt, flexible, and kind. My guests remarked about how wonderful she was, as well. I will be recommending her any chance I get!

    Amazing work!

    April did an incredible job working with our vendors, and ensuring our day went off without a hitch!! She was incredibly responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout every step of the planning process. I don’t think I could have done it without her! She coordinated everything brilliantly, and really unburdened me of the stress that can come along with the wedding planning process. I HIGHLY recommend her services!

    The Gross Wedding

    April, her husband, and coordinator in training Alexis were EXCELLENT and played a huge role in making our wedding as beautiful and perfect as it was. If I could go back and change anything, I wouldn’t. They were so sweet and friendly, professional, patient, and just a down right pleasure to work with.

    Absolutely incredible!!!!

    Let me just say that my wedding would not have happened without April and the Believeland team. They helped me with set up (2 entire days!!) and tear down (another entire day)! They also helped with the details that overwhelmed me, reminded me about all the things that I would keep forgetting, they double/triple checked that I had everything i needed, they helped sort out all my vendors, gave me game changing tips, and they helped me remain calm and know that someone had my back on anything that happened day of. April quite literally helped me every step of the way, and she was the backbone of my day.

    Day of Coordinator

    We could never have pulled off putting up all the decore we had on our day! Finding April was a Godsend! My wedding was gorgeous and perfect. April was so sweet and easy to work with. She sees your vision and understands it. Best thing planning everything myself and making most of my decore was to hire her as our day of coordinator. God bless you April!     April was a blessing on our wedding day. She brought all the final details together perfectly and matched every vision I had and them some! She kept everyone very organized, was a wonderful spirit to deal with, and went above and beyond to make sure I (the bride) stayed stress free.

    Wedding Coordinator

    I didn’t know if I needed a coordinator when I started to wedding plan, but I’m beyond glad I found April! She was amazing to work with and was always incredibly responsive. She took the time to work on things for our wedding that she didn’t need to do, and we’re so appreciative for it! Come wedding day, April and J.P. dealt with the stresses of the day in such incredible ways and we wouldn’t have been able to have such a well laid out night without them.     Highly Recommend

    We had the pleasure of being April's first wedding as a coordinator and she knocked it out of the park! She always responded immediately through text or email leading up to our wedding day. On our wedding day, she did the full set up/take down while also always being available to communicate and coordinate all the vendors and listen if we had a quick change or suggestion that needed communicated to a vendor. I knew anything that came up, she would handle which helped us to best enjoy the day with our family and friends. We highly recommend April as a wedding coordinator and were so happy we decided to use her services for our special day.

    Very Helpful!

    We did have some mishaps with communication for scheduled times/dates such as other couples changing conversation times so ours would be delayed or have to be rescheduled to a different date. We also were unable to have our walk through of the venue (a Sunday) due to something personal being scheduled within a couple of days prior to our set walk through date...we ended up having to send photos instead and she did not see the venue until the rehearsal day. April did go above and beyond though by helping me create a timeline for the day off the wedding, with not even a days notice when I got stressed over it! April and her husband JP were so helpful the day of though. The day of, April and JP made my life soooo much easier because they converted the reception space into the ceremony by putting the aisle runner out, moving chairs, and putting out our isle decor. JP and April stepped up and dismissed tables for dinner because our DJ chose not to even though he was supposed to. April also was amazing in making sure what I wanted was what happened when it came to some family trying to change things around that my husband and I were wanting a certain way! The only thing negative the day of was, was the tear down occurring before our 11pm end time (our DJ asked us of we wanted to do one last song since our stuff was already getting packed up) and some frustration from April regarding vendors being relayed to us during our dinnertime.

    Look elsewhere

    I hired Believeland weddings in early 2022 for my fall 2022 wedding - when I initially booked the reviews were good. My conversations with April, the owner, went great and we’re very reassuring. As we got closer to the wedding, she did let me know she would not be in attendance but someone else would. However, I did not know who that person was until the Wednesday of the week of mg wedding after reaching out to ask April for information. After a phone call with the day of coordinator it was clear that she and April didn’t go over many details as I was asked some of the same questions April and I had gone over.

    The day of the wedding could have been better. I had all tote boxes of decor clearly labeled with what was inside, as well as an inventory sheet of each table at the venue and what was to go on it. My decor was very minimal. I had numerous texts from the coordinator asking where things went or saying she couldn’t find an item and after I would respond she would say she found it. She did not help direct guests upon their arrival to the venue causing some confusion as to where they needed to be. Numerous members of the wedding party (bridesmaids and groomsmen) mentioned that she was less than helpful during set up and during the event. She also took many cigarette breaks and was on her phone many times. Lastly, at the end of the night I had to ask her to begin clearing decor off of clearly vacant guest tables. We made it through the day, but if I could go back I would look into other companies.

    Rethink your decision

    I wasn’t going to even waste my time writing this but I see there is a 5 star review that was my wedding date so I feel I should share this now. My wedding was on 9/30/22. My now sister in law and I both hired Believeland and we’re both told last minute that April ( who’s the only one we had been in contact with) wasn’t going to be there and she sent a young girl who was obviously overwhelmed and by herself. She emailed ( not called or even texted, which had been our primary form of communication) the day of my rehearsal and said she was getting a blood transfusion and was sending someone else. Which I now see was a lie considering the other review said she was there all day! Mind you, this is already after having communication issues with April either missed or late to every schedules call) And then she never reached out again. Luckily we were both pretty Type A brides with a lot of family help so it didnt ruin our days but definitely made them more stressful. And even if the girl she sent was experiences or prepared there’s no way one person could’ve handled the workload we were told would be taken care of. ( she said 3 people would be there all day, herself included) This was just a perfect display of blatant disregard of clients and her employees. She literally did nothing to deserve our money.

    Our Wedding Guests Set Up the Reception

    We hired April and Believeland realizing we needed a day-of coordinator, with an emphasis on getting things set up and torn down the day of wedding, as we would not be available to do so. In the beginning, things were great. We were sent our recommended vendor email, and spreadsheet organizer. As we got closer, things began to fall apart rapidly. Per the contract, our planner was to visit the venue for a walkthrough. The day this was scheduled, April didn’t show up (we understand personal situations and real life happens, but there should have been a backup plan, especially if she was never personally working our wedding anyway, which we later found out she was not). We were then told she would try to get on the venue’s schedule, but, our venue contact never received any communication from her. Fast forward to one week before our wedding, and we are told April previously had another wedding booked, so, she’s sending someone else with two assistants. We provided a detailed document with pictures highlighting exactly what decorations we had, how to set them up, and where to place them. The night of rehearsal, we met a very nervous looking young woman who appeared to be in over her head. We were nice and tried making small talk, assuring her if there’s anything we can do to help, even though that’s what they’re being paid for, we will do. The day of, I receive a text message asking our ETA to the venue so she could get the decorations to begin setting up, even though it was communicated the night before our decorations were already there, waiting to be setup. We were told the cake stand would be the first thing put out. Our baker delivered the cake onto a flat table without our cake stand…still in a tote in the storage room. I only saw our coordinator and one (not two as promised) assistant, neither of which acknowledged the bride. Myself and my groomsman noticed there was an hour before ceremony start time, and literally one table had been set up. Instead of taking pictures, we began setting up the venue ourselves, until I was forced to leave to begin our pictures. It got to the point where our guests were lining up outside, and needed to be let in to set their own tables up. How embarrassing. We are not high maintenance people, but we believe if you pay for a service, on a day as important as your wedding day, the service we paid for should have come through. Perhaps this company is still in its building stages and figuring it out as they learn and get more experience, but please do not advertise what cannot be delivered. I’m not one to leave poor reviews, but on what’s supposed to be the happiest day of our lives (and it still was believe me) there was so much confusion and stress that we paid to not have, and still experienced for unknown reasons. We thank everybody for their time and effort, but simply feel they missed the mark.

    Missed communication

    I hired April so excited to work with her for my wedding! We had our initial call and MULTIPLE calls set up after, and she missed every single meeting: Every time there was an excuse as to why she missed the calls. 8 months go by and I email her 5 times asking if we were still good and no reply. Finally messaged her on Facebook and she says she’s not getting my emails, fine. We set up a call and she misses again saying her phone wouldn’t call me? Weird. So we set up a call AGAIN anddddd nothing. I emailed her again and no reply. It’s been 3 weeks and no reply. I am very dissatisfied with how this has been handled and have resorted to finding a new vendor

    Terrible experience

    I booked with April back when she was first starting out her business last year. We talked awhile on the phone and I told her she sounded to good to be true. I decided to go ahead and take a chance on her. I booked her for 600$ the services included in the contract were 2 people for set up/tear down & day of coordinating, 2 bartenders, 2 servers along with other services.
    The contract also included multiple purchases that were to be made by her such as chargers, plates, silverware, napkins etc. April had said items would be ordered 5-6 months in advance and they were never ordered. This timeline has been crucial considering we are in the midst of the largest supply chain shortage the worlds ever seen.

    April missed or cancelled multiple scheduled appointments last minute. She couldn't make time for phone appointments and was over an hour late to one of them. The check in dates that she had set within the contract were either completely ignored or pushed off multiple times. The two times in which I was finally able to meet with her she attempted to cancel. It seemed April always had some sort of an excuse for her actions and it became old quick.

    I scheduled an in person meeting with her and a few concerned family members about 5 months before our wedding and she assured us that she had our wedding under control. I received 4 completely different contracts from her in the almost year we had worked together and it wasn’t until after that meeting she had finally given me one that made sense.

    It is now 85 days from our wedding and her inability to properly manage our wedding has left us with no other choice but to fire her and book services with other vendors. We felt the need to cancel because we had little faith that she would carry out her end of the contract (the part she didn’t already break).

    Upon notification of us firing her due to multiple breaches in her own contract, she would not refund the entire deposit amount and would only give us back half of the "non-refundable" deposit. She stated it was due to the fact that she made 2 trips to meet in person, one of which was covered by her contract as a venue walk through.

    I HIGHLY recommend booking with someone more reputable and organized. She dropped the ball on our event and we absolutely do not recommend using her as a vendor.

    Hire someone else.

    Unprofessional and unorganized. I could write a book about how ridiculous our experience was however it would be much too much to put here. So to sum it up a bit; they showed up 2 hours late, left 2 hours early, zero communication all day, there was absolutely no coordinating or directing to make sure the day runs smooth and everything stays on timeline, rude to guests, broke contract on multiple points, these are just some of the issues that we had day off there are multiple other things that happened. When i addressed these issues with April(the owner) afterwards she had excuses for everything, offered no real apologies or remorse and in fact tried to get me to pay her more money for something that i did not ask for or was ever discussed when they already didnt even do 50% of what we hired them to do. Save your time, money and energy and hire someone else.

    Don't Ignore the Red Flags!

    She was the first vendor I hired in early 2022 for my wedding May 2024. I was excited and she had good reviews then. Then the negative reviews started pouring in. I ended up firing her. Like others have said she was late and/or missed every scheduled call. We had a walkthrough that she was supposed to meet us at. She literally called while we were pulling in the parking lot with an excuse. I think it was a flat tire. I am usually very understanding and life happens but for there to be an emergency or issue for every call or meet? No one is that unlucky. Especially when other people are saying she did the same thing. She was cheap and I've since learned after a year of planning that is a big red flag in this industry. Lesson learned and I'm not even that upset. I just want to warn others so they won't make the same mistake I did. Do not use this company or April!

    Didn’t even show on my Wedding Day

    Wow words cannot describe how horrible April is.
    DO NOT BOOK. The last two weeks before my wedding she kept ignoring me and giving me excuses why she couldn't do her duties as a coordinator. She would say things like "i have my main job I'm working" "Im trying to make another bride feel special and can't devote my time to you".
    It was absolutely ridiculous. Then come my rehearsal, she didn't show up and notified us less than 2hrs before the rehearsal. She was running the show and sent someone who had no idea what was going on. I left my rehearsal so frazzled because my ceremony music was intricate and the person she sent had no idea what was going on with it. She completely ghosted me on my wedding day and said "she tried contacting me" but in reality she blocked my phone. My call went through when I called with another phone. It was completely unprofessional. I'm sitting in my makeup chair crying because she canceled and had the whole layout and flow of my wedding. I wouldn't wish this nightmare on my worst enemy.
    AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We are now in the process of disputing and getting our money back.

    was a bridesmaid at a believeland wedding

    BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE..........I was recently in a wedding "coordinated" by April and her team. First off, the girl who was sent to coordinate looked like she had no idea what she was doing. Secondly, she was supposed to set up and tear down the tables, linens and decor. I can assure you she did none of this because the bridal party and guests ended up setting up all tables, linens and decor. And at the end of the night, we tore it all down as well. I know the bride and groom hired April specifically because she said she would set up and tear down, none of which they did. I would 100% never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and book else wear.

    Waste of money

    I will always remember April as the woman who ruined my wedding day. I thought I was hiring a day-of coordinator to help with the most important day of my life, and all she did was steal my money and make a bunch of empty promises. I could write a whole book about everything she did wrong. Luckily I had hired other vendors that stepped up and did what was beyond their duties in order to pick up the slack that April left for all my other vendors and even my own family. She didn't show up to my wedding, she sent a complete stranger that had no idea what was going on, and she decided to eat her dinner before half my guests got served (just one example of all the effed up stuff I had to deal with). The girl that did actually show up to represent Believeland never once tried to communicate or talk to me in person, and I was the bride! It felt like she was actively avoiding me because she knew I was already upset at the unprofessionalism. I spent my whole wedding day coordinating my own wedding and forcing my friends and family to set up all the decor because April had promised me ahead could get all that done. There was 0 communication between the 2 of us aside from like 2 emails that i had sent her. She had me set up a venue walk-through and then she didn't even show up until I called her to remind her about the appointment. I could go on and on. Spend your money on someone else who is organized, professional, and takes their business seriously.

    This company will make your day harder, not easier

    Hiring this company was a waste of money and I cannot recommend enough NOT to use them. In the beginning, April was great at touching base when there was no real work to be done. I believed her excuses, but come to find out she was lying about some very sick things that I will not get into. To start, the coordinator assigned to come to my rehearsal was late and looked very unkempt. I texted her directions on how to set up the escort card table that night- no response even after she told me to text her at any time of the night and she will respond. She never showed up to my wedding or my reception. Instead, a young girl was there that looked very overwhelmed. I will admit, I believe this girl did her best but was unprepared to work a wedding of 200 people by herself. My mother had to pick up her slack, and I was setting up my own escort table. When I asked where the other coordinator was, she said that she just did not show up. The coordinator was seen on her phone for 75% of the reception. When we reached out to April she said that the coordinator had to go to the hospital that day. We never told this update by April the morning of the wedding- and she had even contacted me asking how to get into the reception venue. April is a liar, shady, and unorganized. I was referred to them by a co-worker using them for her wedding. Let's just say after my wedding and another wedding of a friend that also used this company, she is no longer using Believeland Weddings. There were many stories and excuses April used that did not line up with what she was telling us. At one point she even told my co-worker that she could not make their phone call (rescheduled already twice) because a couple made her stay late at a meeting. April did not know who she was talking to, because the couple was shocked to hear that April was lying about them running over. Upon checking April's facebook, she was looking for a hot tub pump... If it were not for my incredible vendors- the taste of excellence, DJ Troy entertainment, and LAR Weddings, my wedding would have been a shit show

    Bride's Beware!

    I would give no stars if I could. I could write a book on everything that went wrong with April and her "company" aka random people she hires via Facebook and who knows where else to work at weddings for her. Contract was broken on multiple points. I hired HER as my coordinator and got two random people between my rehearsal and wedding day instead. The timeline she literally made for the day was not even close to followed, except when I stepped in to coordinate my own wedding. The coordinator she sent for my rehearsal didn't do anything for me and brought her toddler with her (I ran my own rehearsal) and the coordinator she sent for my wedding disappeared half the day/night. My decor was stacked on one table and linens on the floor at the end of the night instead of packed up and loaded into my car like I was told would happen (she tried to go back on saying they don't load cars due to liability after the fact). I'm now missing decor as well due to things not being packed up and multiple people handling things at the end of the night. The coordinator tried to leave early to take guests back to our hotel instead of staying to help clean up. My entire reception after dinner ran almost an hour behind because the coordinator wasn't keeping us on track - literally the ENTIRE point of hiring a coordinator! These are just some of the awful things I had to experience. After April ignored my messages about the wedding for 3 days, she finally acknowledged me only when other people got involved. She offered plenty of excuses, half-assed apologies, and offered a bare minimum refund ("because she already paid her coordinators and the refund was now coming out of her own money"). She took back her offer when we expressed how we felt it wasn't enough for what I went through as the bride - I basically coordinated my own rehearsal and wedding! Then told me "she'd be perfectly fine with going through small claims court" if we wanted the full refund. I would absolutely stay away from this company!!! I should have listened to her recent reviews and canceled but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, now I completely regret it. Do extensive research, read plenty of reviews, and find someone you trust 100% with the most important day of your life!

    Matron of honor


    Please, please, please.. whatever you do..do not use this company. I was the matron of honor in my best friends wedding and if she never hired them her wedding would have gone perfectly. She was warned by a few of her other vendors about the lack of professionalism and mess that this company creates, however she already hired and paid them so my friend decided to take her chances, which now looking back on it, was a mistake.

    First red flag for me was the fact that April sent another “coordinator” for the rehearsal. That’s fine…If she did her job. She brought along her toddler who at times, was laying on the ground crying or running her cozy coupe into the decor. I get it, I have a toddler, I know how they can be..,that’s why I don’t bring them to work with me. She was more focused on tending to her Kid, than doing the job. She took zero initiative to run the rehearsal. We were all standing around waiting for direction, that the coordinator never provided, and the bride ended up doing herself.

    Second red flag, was in the middle of the wedding day April left, and had another “coordinator” come to take her place. This “coordinator” also took zero initiative to run anything. April provided the bride with a minute by minute timeline, and it wasn’t even closely followed. When it was time to bustle her dress- something the coordinator was supposed to do, we looked around for 15-20 minutes to find her with no luck. Later, when the bride and groom were thanking tables after they ate, the “coordinator” was nowhere to be found to help keep them
    on time and the reception/ dance floor opened 45 minutes after it was supposed to. You could tell the other vendors wanted to speak up (and they eventually did) but they didn’t want to step on any toes, because the bride and groom HIRED and paid GOOD MONEY for someone to coordinate their day and did not get the services they paid for.

    Honestly, I believe it would have ran a lot smoother if this company were not hired and we did it ourselves or went with a different company. In the end, they ended up having a beautiful wedding NO thanks to Believeland weddings. PLEASE BEWARE.

    Do not hire!

    I was not going to write a review until after my wedding.. but after seeing these new reviews I decided I would write one about a month ahead. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN!!! SHE IS AN EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED, LIAR! BRIDES BEWARE!

    I hired her last fall for my wedding coming up this November. About two months ago- I contacted her asking a question about something which she responded “let’s set up a time to chat about the timeline”. Even though I’m a hands on bride and had that taken care of, I said ok and arranged a time to chat. Mind you- I’m in school, starting a brand new job, planning a wedding, I don’t have time for people to blow me off. I made time at this woman’s request and she NEVER CALLED!! I waited TWO HOURS for her phone call. Never heard from her. I emailed her, INSTANT response that she was on the phone with a previous bride and that brides timeline was redone 5 times and taking too long. I said nevermind. She asked me to reschedule and I declined. I decided to email her and fire her. I let her know that she is unprofessional and did not value my time. If I couldn’t trust her with a phone call how could I trust her with the biggest day of my life?! She spreads herself too thin when she actually shows up.. and apparently she’s planning an adult prom for next year? This lady is a a mess. DONT HIRE HER!!

    Was hired by April, SHADY! READ full story!

    If I could review 0 stars I would! She is SHADY! Read to the end to get all the details! I was hired along with my brother and mom to work at a wedding by April. Everything seemed kind of hectic and not organized. As the night progressed we found out that all of us had found her via Facebook post to look for bartenders. Kind of alarming that she has absolutely no staff? We were supposed to be there from 5-11 making $25 an hour as agreed upon bartending then around 11 she asks us to bus the tables (370 people wedding) we stayed till about midnight and we’re only given $100 for my mom and me. My brother received nothing that night. She asked if she could give us the rest via Zelle the next day, that the bride and groom hadn’t given her sufficient funds for the night( which thinking back: she got paid way in advance! But we were exhausted and agreed to the payment for the next day). She then blocked my mom( the only one who she had fb messaged)!! We found mutual friends and they reached out to her and she said that she had paid us extra for staying after 11 to help(she didn’t even pay us what she owed to begin with)! Then she Zelled only $20 then another $40. This took probably about a week trying to go back and forth and going through other people just to get paid! I only imagine the other girls who worked with us didn’t get the rest of their money!

    Would not recommend

    This review is to share what had happened to me on my wedding day so others are aware when considering hiring this company. When I hired Believeland Weddings, I had already had most of my wedding planned so I was not in much need of assistance except for the day of to help set up decorations and make the day run smoothly. I had put all of my trust in April to help with the odds and ends of the day. That is where my mistake was made. When speaking with April, she told me not to worry about hotel bags or an emergency kit because it was a part of her package, so I again put my trust in her to do them. It wasn’t until the day before my wedding when I got to the hotel that I discovered there were no bags. When I texted her about them, she responded telling me that she “totally forgot”. While she did put them together last minute after talking to her, they were in no way what she promised us. She told us they would be personalized with mine and my husbands favorite snacks and well put together, but instead they were random chips, one chocolate, one makeup wipe, and one Tylenol, so I was disappointed. The next morning, when April was supposed to be at the hotel with my emergency kit, she was no where to be found. I texted her at 8:50am asking where she was. With no response back, I continued to text her about her ETA because some of my bridesmaids needed the emergency kit (which we never got) and it wasn’t until 9:30am that she responded telling me that two women I never heard of were at the venue. Thankfully something told me to check my email because lo and behold, she emailed me instead of responding to my text or calling me telling me she would no longer be at my wedding because she decided to do someone else’s wedding that day even though in our contract she was stated as our coordinator. She failed to give me any warning when we were communicating the day before that she was unable to be our coordinator. When I tried to contact her after the wedding, she unfriended me on social media, she did not respond to my email, and my texts/calls could no longer go through to her. It took 4 days of me consistently trying to get ahold of her for her to respond to my email stating there was nothing for them to do. I had also learned from a friend who was trying to hire her for her wedding that she lied about my husband and myself and used us as an excuse as to why she was not responding to them. I’m sharing my personal experience because I do not want this happening to any other couple who hires someone that is supposed make their day as stress free as possible.

    Dont ruin your day

    Did not follow through with what they were supposed to do. When I complained to April she made excuses. I was going to let it go but now I see that "Dream Day Weddings" is using my photos as advertisement for her business. Not sure who that is. I'm assuming the coordinator that came to my wedding is the one that started this business. But it is false advertisement as they didn't do the decor or the coordinating. They also did not have my permission to use my photos

    Do not hire

    DO NOT HIRE THIS VENDOR. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. The owner, April Skuhrovec, is unprofessional, unorganized, and lacks customer service skills. My wedding was not staffed as agreed and my family and guests had to setup and break down the wedding/reception because she had 1 person really working the event (2 workers arrived for setup 2 hours late and left when the reception started). This experience put a damper on a day that should have been filled with joy and happiness. I texted April to explain the situation and left several phone messages and she would not return my calls or texts. You will be disappointed with this company. Don't waste your time and money.
