Best Vendor in our Wedding!!

I highly recommend Alisa! She worked with us during the height of pandemic in early summer 2020. Our wedding underwent substantial changes and it was a very stressful time. Throughout, Alisa was a great partner. She is incredibly organized, communicative, and flexible. Of all our vendors, I appreciated her professional style the most. She took special care with my bridesmaids, going so far as to talk on the phone with them in advance about what they were looking for in a hairstyle and having everyone send pictures of what they wanted so that Alisa and her partner could prepare in advance. She organized everyone down to the hour, so each bridesmaid knew when they were scheduled to have their hair/makeup done. Everyone looked beautiful and was satisfied with their results. After my hair/makeup trial, Alisa was open to my suggestions about what to change on the wedding day, and made sure to implement those changes the day-of. She is super professional, but friendly. If only all vendors were as organized and helpful as Alisa!

Choosing Alisa was 100% the best choice!

Deciding whether or not I was going to hire a professional to do my hair and make-up was a major decision for me as we were trying to keep our overall costs down, but I have to say, I think Alisa was worth every penny. Not only is she just a fantastic human being, but she was able to take the pics I found on Pinterest and turn them into a perfect look! I was going for a goddess vibe, and that is EXACTLY what I got. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I'm glad we had the trial, which gave us time between trial and day-of to turn great into AWESOME. I can't rave enough. Choose Alisa! Everything we hoped for!

We booked Alisa for my daughter's wedding this last weekend at the Thornewood Castle. She was so nice and helpful when they met for their trial run through to figure out exactly what she wanted and also with my communications with her. She came to the venue armed with a huge assortment of beauty products and did a fabulous job transforming both mothers and the bride. I was so in love with my updo and my makeup stayed put the entire day even through quite a few happy tears! She was also so kind to give pointers and tips to the rest of the bridal party. My daughter looked absolutely stunning! It's probably a good thing I live several hours away or I would be wanting to hire her all the time!

Affordable, professional, talented- you NEED this lady in your life!

I met Alisa in the summer of 2018 and hired her a year before my wedding because of all the good things I’d heard about her.

She did my hair and makeup for my boudoir shoot (my wedding gift for my husband) and I was instantly in love with her work. I ended up trying out a few more hairstyles and makeup looks throughout the year for various events I attended and she always made time for me, made me feel gorgeous and was willing to try whatever looks I threw at her (can you say faux hawk?!?!) 😆

On top of all that, her pricing is incredibly affordable and she let me make payments throughout the year, which made my budgeting for the wedding a BREEZE. Very good business model and very professional in her responses and requests for payments. She gave me gentle reminders each pay date and I didn’t feel pressured or hounded to pay.

Not only has Alisa impressed me as a hair and makeup artist, but she quickly became my friend throughout the year and she’s the only one I’d go to in the future for my beauty needs. She’s amazing. Book her. Now.

A wonderful HMUA!

Alisa was so great to work with! She was very easygoing and made me feel comfortable from the start. She really listens to what you want and is great at making suggestions based on your hair type/face shape/etc. She was really easy to chat with and made me and my girls feel beautiful! Alisa truly cares about her clients and her business. She had a death in the family with the funeral unexpectedly scheduled on the day of my wedding and she still made it work and didn't cancel on me which was truly appreciated! I would have totally understood if she canceled but she did everything she could to make it all work out which is truly dedication to her clients. All of my bridesmaids had such wonderful things to say about her as well. I highly recommend Alisa Clark!

The most beautiful I have ever felt!

I had worked with Alisa before so I knew right away she was who I would want to do my hair and makeup someday for my wedding. My hair style was one of the decisions for the wedding I kept changing my mind on, but Alisa was great taking all my ideas and letting me do a second hair trial to get it just right. And I hardly even gave any direction for makeup because Alisa is brilliant and makes everyone look amazing. On top of being talented, Alisa is just a lot of fun to be around. Morning of, I had the pre-wedding jitters so having Alisa and Kym there to just chat away and keep conversation going was really fun. Alisa is really great about staying on schedule with all the bridesmaid hair and makeup too. And like I said in the title, I have never felt more beautiful in my life then on that day thanks to Alisa. All around I would definitely recommend!

Alisa was great. Super friendly and caring. Her make up is amazing and she always looks out for the best interest of the client. My hair extensions were fried and would not have looked good how I had my hair chosen so she talked with me and she fixed my hair and made me feel like a princess. She took into consideration my taste and my husband's when creating my look. I highly recommend her!

Alisa is the bomb.com!!!

She did the Hair & Make-up for my Sister-in-Law's wedding a couple years back, and more recently she did the Make-up for my wedding! I would have had her do my Hair as well but one of my close friends who works at a salon offered to do it as a wedding gift.

Nonetheless, all of my bridesmaids looked GORGEOUS, she did such an amazing job.

For my Make-up, she did a great job of customizing my needs. I have a lot of freckles and wanted more of a natural/glowy look, Alisa delivered exactly that!

My face felt fresh the entire day, I had no need to reapply anything, it lasted literally 10+ hours!!

Thanks Alisa for all of your hard work, you rock!!

Alisa was amazing! After my initial contact, she got back to me very quickly and was able to meet up soon after that. She's super easy to talk to and helps to figure out your ideal wedding look.
After showing her the look I was going for, she was able to create it without any issues.
On my wedding day, she came on time and totally prepared! I was so happy with how everything turned out and my bridal party and guests thought I looked amazing! I couldn't be happier with how everything was!

Alisa was such a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job doing the hair and makeup for my wedding. Never having my hair and makeup done professionally before, Alisa was always patient and quick to respond to my all of my questions. She was completely flexible and understanding when I decided a few days before the wedding go with a different style than what we did during the trial. On the day of my wedding, she was on time and did a great job keeping us all at ease. She also did a flawless job on my makeup. I gave her very little to go on as far as what kind of look I wanted with my makeup, but just relied on her own expertise and I could not have been happier! I was so impressed with the light, natural feeling job she did with my makeup. It didn’t feel like I was having my face painted on, but that is was an enhanced version of my normal self! My hair and makeup held up beautifully all day and night through the tears, hot weather, dancing etc. She is very talented and Alisa has incredibly fair prices and for such outstanding work. So glad I had a chance to meet her and could not recommend her more for future brides!

Pick her! She did an amazing job getting me and my ladies ready and she was so helpful and nice! She put all my beauty related worries at ease and was very flexible. She made up my bridesmaids at her home then traveled to our venue an hour away to do my makeup so we could snap some getting ready photos. If that wasn't enough she made me and my ladies look amazing! All we had to do was give her an idea of what we wanted and she brought those inspirations to life. She did amazing, I will definitely be recommending her to everyone!

She did an amazing job with my makeup, it was exactly what I wanted! She was very helpful in the days leading up to my wedding and answered any questions I had. Also, she made me feel very comfortable while she was doing my makeup. Overall the experience was everything I wanted and needed for my big day!

Alisa was fabulous!!! We had a wonderful demo session the morning of my bridal shower so she helped me to feel beautiful on two very special days! The wedding day session was wonderful and fun. Alisa put everyone at ease with her quick wit and glowing personality. The bridal party looked gorgeous and classic! Working with Alisa for my bridal and wedding party hair/makeup was a great experience. I looked and felt like a princess! My bridesmaids looked gorgeous as well. Alisa's assistant did an amazing job on makeup for my bridesmaids also. If I had to choose again, I would go with Alisa again without a doubt!

Alisa is incredible. Not only is she great but she is affordable! Alisa for me into a busy summer schedule for my trial when I was very specific about the time I wanted it done. After my trial she even bought a new/different curling iron to make sure my hair was exactly like I pictured it. I was nervous about someone else doing my makeup because I don't wear much on a daily basis but Alisa made my makeup look natural and beatuiful. Alisa also did my two sisters and moms hair and makeup. They were all very happy with their looks! All in all Alisa was wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

Both Alisa and her assistant did an amazing job. Loved having them apart of our big day. They made getting ready so much fun and were very flexible. They did a great job on both hair and make up. We all looked amazing!

Alisa is so awesome! She did my makeup for my wedding. She aided in helping me feel so beautifully the big day! Alisa is so easy to get along with and is great at giving tips/advice or just helping to ease your mind when you are stressed. I didn't know how I was going to feel about getting my makeup done because I don't wear makeup all that often and when I do it's not that much. What she used was awesome! I didn't even feel like I was wearing makeup and it looked great. Thank you so very much Alisa!!

Alisa is a warm, caring person with a contagious personality that shows through during her work. She is very knowledgable, professional and creative. Alisa and her assistant Morina were wonderful!

I was looking for a hair & makeup vendor who could work well with different types of girls and their own individual styles while also being affordable, and Alisa went above and beyond :) Come my wedding day she had 5 bridesmaids 2 mothers and a bride to work on, all with different tastes and appearances. Both her and Morina worked wonders on each of them (so much so that the girls stood gawking at themselves in the mirror for nearly 30 minutes after they were done!). They were working on us for a total of 6.5 hours or so, and all the while they were friendly and personable.

She was very flexible when we needed some last-minute service changes/additions. All the girls turned out stunning (myself included), and I couldn't be happier.

I flew 2500 mile away to have my wedding back home with my family. I had not had an opportunity to meet Alissa until only days before my wedding. I communicated with her by phone and text message. She was always so responsible and despite never having met her, she listened to everything I wanted in such detail. She made me look amazing for our wedding and my now husband says he has never seen me look so beautiful. She came fully prepared to do both my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with her abilities. I look back at my pictures and am just amazed at how great she did! Thank you so much Alissa!

I had the chance to see Alisa's work for a couple of different events before the wedding, so it was a natural choice for me to book her. She's professional, wonderful, kind, and fun to be around. We turned the music up and had fun the morning of my wedding. I looked even better than I hoped I would, and I have Alisa to thank for that. I can't even begin to express how WONDERFUL Alisa was for my wedding! She did my hair and makeup, as well as a few others in the wedding party. She was one of the only wedding vendors that was SUPER responsive and helpful from the very beginning. Her work is fabulous, and she is super friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend her to ANYONE!! :)

Alisa did an amazing job!!! I knew exactly what I wanted (only enhancing my natural beauty with make-up, and a beautiful, but challenging hairstyle) - and Alisa pulled it all off! The hairstyle took some trials but she ensured that I would look exactly as I imagined on my wedding day! At first, I was set on airbrush make-up, but Alisa was able to make me look stunning with her make-up. If you want someone, who is professional, responsible, reliable, honest, quick to respond, ensuring that you look amazing on your wedding day - be sure to book her! Thanks again!!!

I’m not a big hair/make up person, and Alisa knew that from the start. In fact, none of the girls in the Bridal party (including Mom) are. Alisa did such a good job of listening to what we wanted and she and her assistant did exactly that! We all looked and felt beautiful and got many compliments on our hair and make up. Not only was she awesome with our hair and makeup, having such a great personality and adding to the positive energy of the group, but her photography background really helped out as well. As soon as we arrived at the venue she got us organized and into getting ready mode so we’d be as on schedule as possible for our photographers. Wherever Alisa could help out, she did – including sprucing up one of our flower girl’s hair (and helping to calm her down when she wasn’t so sure about the curling iron!) The only regret I have about Alisa is that I didn’t have an Alisa clone to have up with the boys to have them ready and on time in perfect form like she had all of the girls.

My wedding was on July 23 2011. My bridal party included myself, three bridesmaids, two moms and one grandmother. Alisa did a fabulous job with hair and makeup! I couldn't have been happier! I looked gorgeous and so did the other ladies!

Alisa made me feel at ease on the big day and we all had some good laughs while getting ready. Who doesn't love that!!

My wedding was in April of 2012, I had myself, six bridesmaids and 2 Mom's.She got it done with no stress! I wanted super retro looks for all of us and I could not be more happy with the results. I still want to show everyone I meet my wedding pictures!

Alisa was easy to get in touch with and knew EXACTLY what I wanted, which is great because I don't wear makeup normally and was a total pony tail girl she was able to take my abstract ideas and turn them into beautiful results.

Not to mention that she is one of the friendliest people I've ever met and made us all feel comfortable in no time.

I will use her for any major event in my life!

I worked with Alisa for my wedding and for a perdonal photoshoot and she was wonderful for both! Alisa did my makeup and Hair for my wedding and I loved the way I looked she made me feel very much at ease and so beautiful she also did makeup for my mother and sister and hair for one of my bridesmaids and she did a wonderful job and made everyone look their best. Alisa is so fun and easy to work with she really listens to what you want and creats a look that really makes you shine.

Alisa was an AMAZING addition to our special day!! She was willing to wake up at 2am to travel to our venue in order to avoid charging us for her lodging costs. Not only is she phenomenal at all things hair and makeup (she was able to translate my super vague vision into a gorgeous reality!), she's also incredibly sweet and fun to work with! She helped my nerves stay calm the morning of the big day and everyone she worked on fell in love with Alisa. Highly recommend her services!

She did a great job! Listened to everything my bridesmaids and I said. She made suggestions and tried different things, but ultimately went with what we were comfortable with. She made us look beautiful! She treats her brides like they are the only gals in the room, while still making the bridesmaids feel welcome and lovely. She is highly recommended!

Alisa does quality work!!! Hair and make up are beautiful! She was even able to make a last minute change to my hair on wedding day and it turned out exactly as I imagined! My whole wedding party was impressed. My sister even had Alisa do hair and make up for her boudoir and HER wedding after having a great experience at my wedding.

Bridal Hair and Makeup - Fantastic!

Alisa was great! I was an out of town bride and she was able to fit me in for my beauty trail just a few days before our special day. She was very accommodating and the final product was simply beautiful! Even her assistant was great. In getting through six bridesmaids and two mom’s hair and makeup sessions, they were very professional and everyone looked amazing for the wedding. Everyone had a natural makeup look, nothing over the top or a “caked on” finish. Well worth the money and time! Alisa was such a great person! Very flexible and kind. There was a moment in which she became overwhelmed with the wedding day itself and I was not happy with my hair that had resulted. She was frustrated that I was unhappy, but stayed longer than we had agreed to change my hair and make me feel beautiful for the day. Her make-up skills were excellent !!!
