Super Communicative and Excellent Work!

Elizabeth was by far my most communicative vendor, which, for an over thinker like me is perfect. She was open to feedback after I was unsure of my trial look, and ended up completely giving me what I asked for on the big day. She was also just really fun to talk to! I chose her because she can do glam in a way where you still look like yourself. Unlike a lot of her clients, I wear glam a lot, and she was still able to give me exactly the style I wanted. Totally recommend!

10/10 Experience - Elizabeth Root

I worked with Elizabeth for my August wedding in Coronado and she exceeded all my expectations. She came as a recommendation from my wedding planner, Jill Hudgins, because I really wanted an artist that specialized in natural make up looks. I was nervous because I don’t really get my make up done and lot and I also have rosacea. When I had my trial with Elizabeth, I was immediately relieved and excited because she absolutely smashed it. She asked me a lot of questions my personal preferences and made me look absolutely beautiful.

On the day of my wedding, I couldn’t have asked for a better energy from her. She did my 5 bridesmaids make up as well as my own and we looked so beautiful. I got compliments all evening about how well my make up lasted as well as how glowing I was. She brought this positive attitude and meshed so well with our group that it seemed like she was just one of our friends.

I would absolutely recommend Elizabeth for any event and I will absolutely be booking her again in the future for events. Thank you, Elizabeth!!

Natural, elevated makeup!

Elizabeth is just a gem of a human and a makeup artist. I had been eyeing her work for a while - she is so versatile and can nail any styles, skin tones, etc. I wanted a more natural, but enhanced look for my wedding day and she executed just that. Not only did the makeup last all day and night, but I felt and looked like myself. Elizabeth is a true professional artist and has the eye for enhancing your natural features. Her calming demeanor also makes you feel so at ease, and was much appreciated on the day of. She was very organized and on top of things planning wise, early to arrive, kept everyone on track, and was such good energy for the getting ready experience. The bridal trial in Point Loma overlooking Sunset Cliffs was just an added bonus to top it all off. If you are looking for an enhanced look, seamless coordination, & soothing vibes, Elizabeth is your girl!

Incredibly Special and Authentic

Picking makeup for my wedding was very stressful for me because I did not want to look "glam" or overdone. I have been a bridesmaid many times and never felt like my best self or even just myself when I looked in the mirror so I was especially nervous to feel unlike me on my own wedding day. I even considered just down my own make-up..

A friend forwarded me Lizzie's contact after I had a bad experience with a HMU trial elsewhere. I kept using the keyword "natural" and that is the opposite of what I was seeing in my searches. I saw Lizzie's portfolio and immediately reached out. I felt so lucky that she was free for my wedding at a very last minutes notice. Her portfolio looked so authentic AND like she understood how to enhance without being overdone. True talent that's honestly hard to come by in the wedding HMU industry.

I did not do a trial with Lizzie because I booked her only a few weeks before and I really felt like from our communication she understood what I wanted. When I met her on my wedding morning, I just knew her energy was right for me.

Lizzie is so authentic, a natural beauty herself and so so extremely talented. She understands skincare and makeup and also she really listens to what your concerns are. Her work shows that she is both truly talented at makeup and just an amazing person!!

Bridal makeup that feels NATURAL and GORGEOUS

To be totally honest, I knew I wanted Elizabeth to do my wedding makeup before I even met my husband! She did the makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding and my sister's and she is THE BEST. As soon as I had my wedding date, she was the very first vendor that I booked. She's extremely talented. I have always felt so beautiful but also still completely myself when she's done my makeup. I don't wear much makeup normally, and I love a more natural look (but still a bit glam and special). Elizabeth nailed it for me and my whole wedding party. Also, she's so chill and sweet. She brought the BEST energy to the morning of the wedding. And she kept us on schedule. We even made it to the venue a bit early. If you're looking for a stellar makeup artist, LOOK NO MORE.

Also, she did my makeup for our engagement session at the beach, and we ended up in the ocean. My makeup still looked great after swimming in the waves.

Elizabeth was SUCH a wonderful individual to add to our dream team of vendors. She was one of the first vendors booked because she had done my makeup at my best friend’s wedding so I knew I loved what she did and I didn’t even bother doing additional research. She’s the best at wedding makeup that is enough for photos but still looks natural at the same time - exactly what I wanted! Exactly what I wanted!

I knew Elizabeth was the artist for me after she did my sister in laws makeup for her wedding. We all described the style as “still you, but elevated and glowing!”. I went to my makeup trial with Elizabeth, and while I was confident in her talent, you still get nervous when they go to give you the mirror to see the final look! I’ve had bad experiences in the past where I look in the mirror and go “who is that??”. When Elizabeth held up the mirror, I teared up, because it was exactly what I wanted. She not only nailed the makeup look I wanted (color, style, etc) but I looked like ME. Me…but elevated and glowing! The makeup on the day was was no exception. Everyone looked absolutely incredible, natural, and radiant. We all felt gorgeous. I felt so confident, and it lasted ALL NIGHT. Even after some hard dancing and sweating.
Elizabeth is also so sweet, and a calm presence. She a gem, and made us all look amazing.

Amazing Makeup Artist!

I hired Liz as my makeup artist for my destination wedding in San Diego for my wedding party and I. She was communicative, prompt and collaborated well with my hair stylist for scheduling our individual time slots. I liked that she was easy going and conversational, which helped ground me on an otherwise hectic day. She also helped me choose a makeup look that suited me well and still looked flawless more than 8 hours later!

I was so pleased with her work that I hired her again to do my makeup for additional wedding photos that we took offsite a few days after the wedding.

Best experience!

Elizabeth's energy is exactly what you want (and need!) on your busy wedding day. I had done a trial with another make up artist before meeting Elizabeth and was unhappy with the results. After the trial with Elizabeth, I realized a lighter look suited me better and she was the one that recognized that and made me feel made up and pretty but still like myself. On the day of, she was on time and everything went smoothly because she is very easy to work with, organized, and a very kind and genuine individual. All of my bridesmaids loved how their look turned out and to my surprise my make up stayed in place without getting oily even through the heat, dancing, and long hours. Absolutely Stunning Make Up Artistry!

Elizabeth Root was an absolute joy to work with to do my wedding makeup! From the moment I messaged Elizabeth, I knew she would be a perfect fit for my wedding day beauty dreams! We met for a trial which was helpful to discuss my vision and get to meet her before the wedding. During the trial, It was like chatting with a longtime friend and I had no worries that I was in great hands! She has a very calming, warm energy too which was perfect day of wedding. She also was so efficient at communicating leading up to the wedding and made a great schedule for day of. She executed my vision of a soft glam look where I still definitely looked like myself but just my best version. Definitely my favorite makeup I've ever had done. My bridesmaids and Mom all looked stunning and they worked on all of them in a timely fashion, but listened to their feedback and ideas. One word-amazing

STOP SEARCHING and pick Elizabeth!!! She did the bridal makeup for my wedding and the makeup for my bridesmaids too! Not only will you gain an amazing friend from booking Elizabeth, but wow she has TALENT too!! The best ever

Elizabeth was an absolute blessing. I felt incredible on my wedding day and it lasted all night perfectly. First of all, she is sooo easy to communicate with and was so professional and to the point which I loved. Our trial was a relaxing experience and I left it feel energized and supported. Natural and beautiful makeup

I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough! Elizabeth first did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid and I immediately knew that I needed her magic for my own wedding. I never wear makeup, don’t know anything about makeup, and didn’t know what I wanted beyond “natural looking.” Elizabeth ran with that at my trial, and I loved it! The Absolute Best Makeup Artist

If I could give Elizabeth a 6th star, I sincerely would. On your wedding day, you want to feel like yourself on your best day. Elizabeth made me feel like magic.

Prior to the wedding, I had an absolutely delightful make-up trial where she left me feeling confident that I was in the right hands for my wedding day. She adjusted any concerns I had with the amount of makeup I wanted, since I usually tend to lean on a more natural application.

On the day of, she arrived early and was accommodating for all my bridesmaids. When it was my turn, if any concerns came up, she assured me with a big smile that there was nothing to worry about. The work she did surpassed any high expectations I had already had. She stayed around to help with touch ups right before the ceremony.

Elizabeth's value felt pretty much priceless to me. I highly recommend her. You will be in talented hands.

Natural, picture perfect

Covid bride here! We were engaged back in 2019, and makeup was one of the first vendors I searched for! After asking around, Lizzy was recommended by two friends. Lizzy felt like one of your girlfriends from the very start. She was so chill, while being professional and very informative. Lizzy stuck with us through date and location changes, and never made me feel stressed throughout the process.
I had a blast doing my makeup trial! She made me feel very comfortable and was quick to listen to my thoughts as well. On the big day, everyone had such a blast with Lizzy! She made the experience so memorable for all of us with her bright personality and calm presence. My mom had never had her makeup done professionally, so she was a bit nervous. Elizabeth lives up to all her glowing reviews! She's absolutely the best makeup artist I could have asked for and was a pleasure to work with. She's incredibly professional, knowledgeable, calm, sweet, and talented. She takes feedback super well and was willing to patiently work with me until I was 100% satisfied and comfortable with my look.

I don't have a lot of experience wearing makeup so when I was searching for a makeup artist for my wedding day, I wanted someone who could make me look like myself (but better) and someone who could help me feel comfortable in makeup. I also didn't really know what I wanted at first and wanted an experienced makeup artist who could give me advice. Elizabeth did all that and more. She took all my concerns and requests into consideration and absolutely delivered on my wedding day. Elizabeth is THE BEST!!! She was the first wedding vendor I booked and I'm so beyond happy that she was available on my wedding day. I booked Elizabeth through a friend recommendation and she did not disappoint. She was friendly, on top scheduling and logistics, and made me feel so at ease during the stressful wedding process. During my trial, I showed her pictures of what I liked and realized, they were all quite different. She helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. On the wedding day she was so amazing for both me, my bridesmaids and the moms. I would 10/10 recommend her, she did exactly what I had envisioned and was so easy to work with!!!

Exactly what I was hoping for!

I was looking for someone to do my makeup for my wedding who would favor a natural, but still stunning, look, and that is exactly what Elizabeth delivered! She made it easy, traveling to me with everything she needed, she was friendly and lovely to chat with, and she made me feel 100% comfortable to ask her to tweak anything about the look at the end. I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out! And it still looked just as amazing by the end of the day as it did when she finished.

The best makeup artist to enhance your natural beauty!

I found Elizabeth on Yelp and was immediately drawn to her work. I could tell from photos that she specializes in enhancing your natural beauty. This was especially important to me for my wedding - I wanted to look like myself.

I have gotten my makeup done previously as a bridesmaid by other makeup artists and I always find myself wiping off the makeup after the ceremony and photos. For some reason, I always come out looking fake - overly emphasized lips, intense eyes, etc. I always feel uncomfortable because I don't look like myself. It is the complete opposite when you work with Elizabeth! You will feel confident and beautiful!

I reached out to Elizabeth and she was very responsive. She was available on my wedding date, which I was extremely excited about. We also set-up a makeup trial a couple weeks before my wedding. My makeup trial with Elizabeth was so fun. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. She is also super knowledgeable and open to any comments or adjustments that you may have. She really cares and wants you to have the perfect makeup on your big day.

Leading up to my wedding day, Elizabeth was super communicative. She provided me and my bridesmaids with a bunch of tips to prepare our skin for makeup and also tips on how to make it last throughout the day. I got married during COVID-19 and she also had tips on how to adjust to wearing masks with our makeup.

Elizabeth arrived on my wedding day on time and prepared with all makeup and tools needed. She completed my makeup, as well as 8 other bridesmaids, on time and all with exceptional quality. She brought a secondary makeup artist to help with 2 of my bridesmaids and her assistant was great as well, having a similar makeup style to Elizabeth.

I could have not asked for a better makeup artist on my big day. My photos speak for themselves! My wedding planner asked me if I had "hired my bridal party because everyone was so beautiful" and I honestly owe it all to Elizabeth's amazing work!! If you're looking for a makeup artist who will enhance your natural beauty, make you feel confident in your skin, and who will make you glow all day, do not hesitate to book Elizabeth!!!

gorgeous smile to go with perfect makeup application ;)

I met Elizabeth over a decade ago when I had just newly moved to California. I followed her through the years and really loved watching her artistic style progress! When it came time for MY wedding, I had to have her :) Luckily she was available AND made the 6 hour drive to Big Sur from San Diego! I am not much of a makeup person, but she absolutely did the most perfect job for me. It was both natural/beachy while also having a gorgeous dramatic touch - the photos were insane!!! She also did a fabulous job on my sister, best friend, mother, and 2 little step daughters/flower girls

Highly reccomend!

Elizabeth is amazing!! I was SO happy with everyone's makeup on my wedding day and even looking back at pictures am so impressed with the final looks. Everyone looked natural and like an elevated version of themselves.
Booking my vendors and trials was challenging since I live in LA and got married in San Diego. Elizabeth was so accomodating in finding time for our trial and even was able to meet me halfway where she happened to be working another wedding. For the trial, I had saved makeup ideas on my pinterest which she mimicked so accurately while also making it work for me and my skin/coloring.
On the day of the wedding, she was right on time and was such a calming, warm presence throughout the morning. I don't think any of my bridesmaids asked for any changes to their look, everyone was so happy with Elizabeth's work. She also made sure to make time for touchups for everyone. I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone wanting to look natural and like the most beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day!!

Wedding make-up with Elizabeth

So this review is super long overdue, but Elizabeth did such a great job, I wanted to make sure it was done. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with from the trial, to the coordination leading up to my wedding day, to the day of. When we did the makeup trial, she was super personable and listened to my concerns. I showed her my dress and she was familiar with the venue and the vibe we were going with. I told her that I don't wear much makeup to begin with and my biggest concern was that I wanted to still "look like me". She did a great job creating a natural look while still creating an elevated look that was fitting for a wedding. My fiancé and I had a date night to test out the makeup and gave Elizabeth the feedback on how the makeup lasted or things to change for the day of.

On the day of, she arrived a early which was awesome. She gave kept the natural look for all of the ladies in my bridal party - they looked gorgeous and it lasted all day long, especially in the San Diego heat. I was concerned that I might have some issues the day of with the heat and my makeup staying throughout the day and night, but by the end of the night, everything was still perfectly in place, in a good way. I highly recommend Elizabeth for their special day!!!

Elizabeth is absolutely the right choice for your wedding day! She does such beautiful elevated makeup that makes the bride and bridal party look awesome in pictures, but also brings out each bride's natural beauty without hiding their face in too much makeup. Elizabeth is AMAZING!

My son was being married in a city about 50 miles away from our home. I had absolutely no idea where to find someone to do my makeup. I ended up asking a niece who’s been in and attended a lot of weddings in the general area. She sent me Elizabeth’s contact information. I reached out to Elizabeth and received a return email. We booked, and then waited the 9 months or so for the wedding date to arrive. Elizabeth arrived on time, got set up and we were ready to roll. She has a very low key personality, which when working with brides and the wedding party is a must! Elizabeth did makeup for 5 women with ages in 5 different decades, and we all loved the results! It’s not easy to please a 20 something woman and a 70 something woman, but Elizabeth did. We all looked like the absolute best versions of ourselves, without looking made up. Elizabeth is AMAZING!

Beautiful makeup that doesn't look caked on.

Elizabeth is awesome and incredibly talented at what she does. She's someone I'd totally want to be friends with if I were cool enough to hang. She's really easy to talk to and has a very calming presence. I searched the internet far and wide for a makeup artist who would make me look like my best self and not make it look like I had a ton of makeup caked on. I absolutely loved how she did my makeup and I felt confident and beautiful all night, even after a few tears. She also did the makeup for my mom, mother-in-law, and sister. None of them really wear makeup so they were nervous, but they loved what Elizabeth did. My mother-in-law was told at the wedding that she was "glowing". She may be slightly more expensive than some other makeup artists out there, but she's worth every penny. Just do it.

Best. Make-up. Artist.

Elizabeth is hands-down the best make-up artist I've ever had!!! I chose her because she focuses on more natural make-up, which is what I wanted, rather than intense and heavy make-up that you may typically see for bridal make-up. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH HER! She was able to do my make-up and 6 other ladies within the timeframe given including doing touch ups before she left. She individualized all the make-up according to all of our preferences and made each of us feel uniquely beautiful! My wedding reception lasted for approx 8hr and I had my make-up on for 12+ hrs and IT NEVER CAME OFF! I looked as beautiful and done up at the end of the night as I did in the morning and that was after hours of dancing, sweating, dabbing my face with napkins, dress changes, and fooooood! She is absolutely amazing as a make-up artist and just incredibly sweet and kind as a person. I've already recommended her to tons of family/friends and will continue to do so because her work speaks for itself!

The best experience !

I was so nervous to find someone to do my makeup for my wedding, mostly because I hardly ever wear any and really didn't want to not look like myself on the big day (but obviously still look like the best version of me!). Elizabeth was everything I could have asked for and more! She instantly got what I was going for, and made me feel so calm and sure about the whole day. We had a trial where I showed her pictures and she took those and made it unique to me. Day of I looked even better than I did at the trial! Not to mention she was calm, collected, on time and so easy to be in touch with leading up to and the day of. All of my bridesmaids also felt confident and looked stunning ! I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a natural look, but one that is elevated, chic, and classy.

Where to begin? Elizabeth was amazing from day 1. She was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry and to every message thereafter. She is professional, knowledgeable and does fantastic work. Elizabeth is so talented!

Elizabeth made me feel like a princess!

We booked her for my bridal MU and my bridesmaid's. I told her my biggest concern was my T-section which tends to get oily and mascara tends to smear on top of my cheeks. I prefer make-up that is light, or more natural and some of my bridesmaid prefers more dramatic make-up. Elizabeth listened to all our concerns and gave us all what we wanted--showing her versatility. On top of that, the make-up lasted all night! I didn't need to do touch ups! even after i shed some tears during my vows. it's crazy how talented she is. I highly recommend her!

Look no further for wedding makeup!

Elizabeth was the PERFECT wedding makeup artist. The makeup she did for me and my bridal party was exquisite.

Her style of makeup is very natural, which is exactly what I was looking for. (I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day, not like I was caked in makeup until I was unrecognizable!) Elizabeth's natural style made my skin look dewy and luminous, and my eyes stand out. I looked like a radiant version of myself! The makeup looked great in person and in photographs. Elizabeth is such a talented artist--I cannot praise her skill highly enough.

In addition to her talent, Elizabeth is also SUPER FUN to be around. My bridesmaids and I had a great time chatting and laughing with her! It was like she was one of the girls. None of my bridal party had anything in particular in mind for their makeup, so all were happy for Elizabeth to work her magic--and she produced spectacular results on all of us, including bridesmaids and mothers. She was very professional and accommodating, working together with the hair stylist to get everyone ready in good time.

Elizabeth was a joy to work with! She did my makeup for my wedding along with 5 bridesmaids and my mom. I love the way she has a more natural makeup approach, but still managed to make it last all day (even through tears) and look great in photos! I have had my makeup done for many friends’ weddings and the way Elizabeth did mine was by far the best it’s ever looked. My bridesmaids and I looked like ourselves and not an overdone version! Elizabeth was also super easy to work in with terms of scheduling and communicating in the months leading up to the wedding and promptly answered all my last minute questions. There are not enough words to describe how absolutely incredible Elizabeth is. First off, she's an extremely kind and lovely person to be around and work with. Second, she's wildly talented and will make you the most beautiful version of yourself. Elizabeth did make up for my wedding and I (and my MOH, moms, and aunt) could not have been happier! I absolutely love Elizabeth's approach to bridal makeup. So many of the looks she creates are soft and natural yet elevated, which is exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. It was important to me that my makeup application was not too heavy and dramatic, which seems to be the trend for the majority of makeup artists out there. I can't tell you how many times people told me, "It doesn't matter what you look like in person, it's more important how you look in the photos." Well, I'm here to tell you that couldn't be further from the truth. Elizabeth's work proves that you can have a light application of makeup on your wedding day, feel super comfortable, but also look and feel incredibly beautiful (in person and on film). Elizabeth is so great to work with! She’s easy going and very talented. I don’t wear any makeup typically and when I do it’s minimal, so I wanted a natural and elegant look for my wedding day. Elizabeth met my request perfectly and without caking lots of product on I looked gorgeous and my face held up all night despite vigorous dancing and NO touchups needed! Elizabeth was amazing! The makeup was exactly as we had discussed and executed beautifully. I get hot very easy and was scared I would sweat off the makeup, but it stayed the entire day and night! She made me look like the flawless bride I wanted to be. If you want someone who understands you, is professional and super sweet, this is the gal for your special day! I knew I had to book Elizabeth when I saw she focused on natural makeup on her website. I don't wear much makeup at all but of course I needed to get my makeup done for my wedding day. I felt beautiful but didn't feel like I had caked on makeup and it never felt uncomfortable! She is so sweet and so organized, it made everything so easy. She came to my house and did makeup for my Mom and bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. She's so chill and easy going. If you're planning a wedding, definitely book her for your makeup but book her early because I think she's in high demand :)

We had a fantastic experience with Elizabeth. From the get go, she is extremely professional and so easy to communicate with. We had a larger bridal party and she planned things out so there was no worry of time constraints. She gave my bridesmaids and I the "natural glow" we all wanted, while adjusting to each girl's specific look.

Overall - hiring Elizabeth made the day of getting ready so much more relaxing and less stressful. She is punctual, professional, and has a natural ease to her. A few of my bridesmaids already mentioned they want her for their weddings as well! 100% recommendation, Elizabeth is amazing!

Liz is the most beautiful person inside and out! You will not regret choosing her for all your beauty needs. My bridesmaids and I all got our makeup done by her and her calm spirit and gentle touch made us all feel so relaxed throughout the entire morning as we got ready for my wedding. Not only did she do an amazing job at accomplishing the look I wanted (everyone looked stunning), she is so cool and fun to work with we all want to be BFFs with her. I am not someone that wears a lot of makeup in my day to day life, so on my wedding day I didn't want to feel like a clown, I just wanted to feel like a more polished version of myself. I searched far and wide for a bridal makeup artist that has a style that matched what I wanted. I was starting to feel hopeless until I found Elizabeth Root. The looks she creates are effortlessly gorgeous! I did my makeup trial the day we did our engagement photos and it was the best decision ever! I loved it so much, I had her do my makeup for my rehearsal happy hour in addition to my wedding day. What I love the most about her work is that it pops in pictures but doesn't look theatrical in person (which I sometimes notice on brides). In addition her prices are very competitive and she is an absolute delight to interact with. I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough and will be using her whenever I need my makeup done for an event.

I knew I had to book Elizabeth after doing a makeup trial with her at her home. I was immediately struck by her laid back, calm, and happy nature. I knew that having her sunny, grounded vibes around me on the morning of my wedding day was a no-brainer and would be a calming influence on the group. She focuses on natural makeup, which was important to me. On the wedding day, I felt beautiful but still like MYSELF. It goes without saying that she is also organized, responsive, and professional.

Talented with great energy! Elizabeth cam highly recommended by two of my friends. I am very grateful to have hired Elizabeth to do my makeup along with my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding. Our makeup was very well done- classy and fit each of our tastes and personalities. In addition to Elizabeth doing a fabulous job on our makeup, she was very delightful to work with. My goal in hiring a makeup artist was to find someone who could make me beautiful for my special day. However, what I did not realize, is that it is equally (if not more) important to hire a makeup artist or vendor that will positively contribute to your memorable day. Elizabeth was delightful to be around all day and was not in the least bit frantic. I highly recommend Elizabeth to do your makeup for any occasion!

I could not have asked for a better makeup artist on my Big Day. Elizabeth has perfected the natural makeup look and I'm so grateful I found her! Elizabeth did my bridal make up, as well as my three bridesmaids and achieved exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to look like myself, but still have enough makeup on for the pictures. I could not have been happier and she totally accomplished exactly what I envisioned. A natural, classic, bronze-y look. My bridesmaids were super happy too (no one touched up what Elizabeth did – and these girls are picky) and one has hired her since for a wedding. In addition to her expert make up skills, she is just a genuinely good, sweet, kind, patient person and was an awesome energy to have the morning before I walked down the aisle. We loved Elizabeth! We were a two-bride wedding, my wife literally doesn't own any makeup and I wear very minimal makeup, so we were both looking for wedding makeup that would photograph well but not make us feel like we didn't recognize ourselves in the mirror. She was super communicative during the whole process from the first time I reached out, which was so reassuring since we had a not-so-great experience with another potential makeup artist and were getting pretty close to our date when we found Elizabeth. Our wedding day experience was easy-breezy, and the rest of the group getting their faces done had as great of an experience as us brides did sitting in her chair and chatting away. Everyone looked gorgeous, and I would absolutely recommend Elizabeth :)

She made me look and feel GORGEOUS on my big day!

Elizabeth is very talented. I hired her to do makeup for myself (bride), 3 of my bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Everyone was very happy with their makeup and you could tell they felt beautiful. My 3 bridesmaids that chose not to get their makeup done by her were super bummed, they wished that they had signed up as well!

I was very open with Elizabeth from the beginning that I had reservations about getting my makeup done because I didn't want to look like a Kardashian or like I was wearing a pound of makeup. She was very sweet and assured me that she would tailor the experience for me. Did she ever! She did such an amazing job at getting my makeup exactly how I wanted.

Not only is Elizabeth extremely talented, but she is the best person to have around on your wedding day. I was getting a little overwhelmed by a few of my bridesmaids and she picked up on it right away. She politely said to them that we were having "quite time" so that I didn't have too. Ladies, you will understand how helpful this is on your wedding day! Elizabeth is so calm, happy and mellow that her vibe is contagious on the big day!

Elizabeth is fabulous. My makeup was beautiful and natural. I looked like my best self without being overdone. She also did makeup for three of my friends and a little grooming on my brother (who officiated) and the groom. Everyone was happy with her work and looked beautiful. She made the guys feel very relaxed and helped them to feel a little manlier by telling them she has done sportscaster makeup! She has exactly the type of lovely, calm, and positive vibe that you want around on your wedding day. While she is relaxed, she is also very professional. She will arrive and run on time, and she will do it with ease.

Elizabeth is incredible! She did my wedding makeup (and some of my bridesmaids' and mommas' makeup, too). I wanted leave a review because I know how helpful these are while searching for wedding help. I just got married in July 2016 and I can't thank Elizabeth enough for being apart of my wedding day!! I felt so beautiful and pampered and I really enjoyed her company that day. She is easy to talk to, very sweet and professional. In addition to my make up, I had 9 bridesmaids and my mom, and almost everyone had something done. We had a few scheduling set backs the day of and she was so patient accommodating to our changes. I also appreciated her hanging out with us all morning the day after she came back from your honeymoon! If you can't tell, I was really happy with my service.

I have only amazing things to say about Elizabeth!! From setting up a trial to the make up on the big day, she continued to impress. She is incredibly talented and was able to achieve a beautiful, natural look for myself, the bridesmaids, and my mom (who's never had her make up done and was a little nervous about false lashes). Is it possible to want someone to not only do your makeup on your wedding day, but everyday of your life? If so, I would like to have Elizabeth make me look pretty everyday. She's the most talented makeup artist I've ever seen, absolutely incredible.

Elizabeth did makeup for my engagement photos last year, and for my wedding this past spring. Makeup is SO important to fall in love with on such a special day. I normally don't wear a ton of makeup, so finding someone who mastered the enhanced natural look was what I was hoping to come across. Elizabeth has a way of making every single person look their absolute best, while still looking like themselves. All eight of my bridesmaids and my mom looked outstanding!

Not only is Elizabeth extremely skilled at what she does, but she's the sweetest person to be around. If you're looking for someone you can easily connect with and make everything enjoyable, she's your girl!

Elizabeth comes highly recommended! She was very responsive when booking and completely fine when the day started very early. Loved the products she used felt light and lasted all night!

One of my bridesmaids mentioned she has a hard time liking her makeup when getting it done professionally and she loved her makeup. Everyone looked great and it shows in the pictures.

I got married May 2015!! And just looking back, Elizabeth was so amazing! She was professional and sweet, and my bridal party looked amazing. Everything turned out just how I wanted it to be, and my make-up was on point, but also it looked natural! She was amazing, and I was not only a bride but a pregnant bride and let me tell you she was the last thing I had to worry about! Being punctual great to talk to, she felt like a friend! Elizabeth has done makeup for me a few times including Halloween, engagement photos and the most important my wedding day. She is incredible and so professional. On every occasion I had so many compliments asking who did my makeup. She had a timeline setup for me which helped me manage our time and I didn't even have to think about it. Elizabeth was absolutely, totally fantastic. My wedding was destination - Del Mar Beach Resort in August - and it was SO MUCH WORK looking for the perfect makeup artist without being able to actually meet or talk to anyone face-to-face. But Elizabeth's website was an instant sell. I met with her a couple days before the wedding and she knew everything I wanted by the end of the trial. Makeup on wedding day went flawlessly. She recommended a hair stylist and between the two of them I had a totally chill, stress-free experience. I have particularly oily skin and Elizabeth used a matte gel over my foundation that kept me shine-free the entire day, even being outside in the wind and heat all day. I loved her!! Use her for your wedding!!!! :D

My experience with Elizabeth was awesome! I had met her at a modeling job and loved the way she did my makeup so much, that I asked her that same day if I could hire her for my wedding!
