  Kaitlin was so amazing to work with and helped relieve so much stress during the wedding planning process and on the big day itself!
  
  During planning, she was quick to respond to our questions, detail oriented, and helped us think through all the details, including things we never would have thought of ourselves. With her help, we felt so prepared going into the big day!
  
  On the day of, Kaitlin was one of the main reasons everything ran so smoothly! She set up all our decor and kept us on time throughout the entire night. At the end of the night, we were expecting to have some clean up to do, but instead Kaitlin had everything ready for our family to quickly put into cars and go!
  
  Kaitlin really went above and beyond and we cannot recommend her enough!!

  Excellent experience with Barefoot to Bow Tie

  I had a great experience hiring Barefoot to Bow Tie Events to help plan my wedding. The owner, Kaitlin, is very organized, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Her planning process will ensure that your schedule runs seamlessly and that all of your vendors are always on the same page with each other. Her help setting up and tearing down the reception was so valuable to me. If you're on the fence about whether to hire a planner, I highly recommend it and particularly recommend this vendor. When I started planning my wedding, I wasn't sure if I needed a planner but there are so many details Kaitlin helped plan and execute that I wouldn't have thought of and wouldn't have wanted for me or a family member to do on one of the busiest and most important days of my life. :)

  Takes Care of Everything

  One thing that I knew I wanted for our wedding was a wedding decorator. I had talked to many and no one seemed like a good fit, until I talked to Kaitlin. Something just seemed right. She not only would decorate, but she would also be my day-of coordinator. She would take care of everything so I had nothing to worry about. That is something that I didn’t know I wanted until I talked to her. She answered all my questions right away. Throughout the entire process I knew she was only a text away. I don’t know how many times I texted her freaking out. She always knew what to say to diffuse the situation. We had many phone calls to go through the timelines of the day. This helped me so much. I would have been a lot more stressed if I didn’t have those phone calls. I knew once we got to the day of the wedding that I didn’t have to worry about anything. It was the best feeling in the world where I could just enjoy my day. She and her assistant did an amazing job decorating; she made my vision of my day come to life! I usually have a hard time letting go of the reins when it comes to things like this, but I knew our wedding was in good hands! I would highly recommend Kaitlin to anyone that would like to just enjoy their big day!

  Kaitlin went above and beyond to make our day perfect

  Due to Covid we last minute changed our venue and date to my parents backyard. I was very overwhelmed with throwing a wedding at home and I could not have done it without Kaitlin! She is extremely organized and creative- she offered so many ideas on how to make our day extra special. On the day of our wedding I was stress free because of Kaitlin. She took care of everything and kept our day on track. I had family members coming up and commenting on how smoothly Kaitlin coordinated the day. We are so grateful for her services- she made our day perfect!

  Make Your Life Easy

  I'm so glad to have hired Katie and Kaitlin for our wedding. They helped us navigate all sorts of challenges as a corona couple and helping us figure out our options after corona hit. We were so lucky to be able to execute our wedding, which was a complete replan in just 7 weeks. Barefoot to Bowtie was very attentive to detail down to who is lighting the candles at the reception - I'm detailed oriented but it was one of those small things I hadn't even considered. Kaitlin also advised on timeline, wedding etiquette, and helped us execute with a smile and was waiting at the end of our beach side ceremony with a smile (and a cocktail!). It was refreshing to just be able to enjoy our day with our bridesmaids and groomsmen and just go to bed as a married couple without having to supervise set up, unpack and repack items. Everything was delivered in our organized totes back to us by the morning.

  You won⠹t be disappointed

  All I have to say is, it you want a coordinator.. you better go with Kaitlyn. She was AMAZING! We had to switch our grand wedding from a golf course in Chicago to a small lake venue in Wisconsin that was not really a venue at all. Kaitlyn helped transform our beautiful day into a fairytale and everyone just kept coming up to me and saying that’s she was a godsend and she really was! She is SO organized and makes sure you get exactly what you want and deserve on your big day! She went above and beyond for us and I can’t thank her enough!

  We were trying to plan a perfect wedding in a narrow window of time. Katie and Kaitlin helped us so much with all of the details from planning to arranging and execution of our Feb. 2020 wedding. They took all the stress out of finding the perfect options. They were available to communicate about everything involved with the whole process which was comforting. I can honestly say that their help made it possible to make our wedding day perfect. Katie was there to manage all the details on the day of the wedding, so that we did not have to worry about anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone who isn't completely sure where or how they will have their wedding, or even someone who knows exactly what they want, but wants an expert to make it happen.
  They understood my budget and they maximized every dollar. They added much value by keeping track of costs and finding me an amazing venue at a great price that I would not have been able to negotiate and arrange on my own.

  Intimate Vintage Wedding at the Iron Horse Hotel

  Kaitlin is amazing! My mom and I thought we had my wedding handled, but as soon as we brought her on board we realized how much we still needed to do. Kaitlin handled everything and made our big day perfect. From speaking to the venue (visiting the venue without me) to table set up, communicating with bridal party, officiant, dj, bakery...she took care of it all. I could truly relax knowing that everything was being handled. I couldn’t have done it without her and it went absolutely perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend Kaitlin for any event!

  Kaitlin was simply amazing!!!! She met with us several times prior to the wedding, she was well organized and made the most of each meeting. Kaitlin showed her expertise and organizational skills before, during and after the wedding. Kaitlin and her fabulous team took care of every detail, and went up and beyond our expectations so we could just enjoy the celebration. Do not think twice if you are even considering Kaitlin to coordinate your wedding, we could not have done it without her, we absolutely Love her!!!!!

  Let the adventure begin, baby shower

  Kaitlin did an incredible job organizing my sons baby shower. She supplied snacks themed from around the world, based on the travel theme of the shower. She hand designed most of the decorations and ran the games at the shower. She took all the stress off leading up to the shower and the day of. I would highly recommend having Kaitlin help plan/organize and/or run your own shower!

  Kaitlin made our wedding day so perfect! She took 100% of the stress away from me and dealt with everything. Never pressured me. Always kept me in the loop. Made our day absolutely smooth as silk and effortless, which made it so fun for both of us!
