Obsessed with Ballroom at the Ben and Finley Catering!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Ballroom at the Ben! Not only is the venue gorgeous and in the perfect location for out of town guests looking to see the best of Philly, but the entire process with our amazing event coordinator Chelsea was easy and stress free. We always felt like her priority and she helped us customize our wedding to just what we wanted. We wanted a Kosher-style wedding without meat or shellfish, and Chelsea helped us work with the chef to create some new appetizers so that the food still felt next-level. We felt totally confident that the day-of would be amazing being in Finley Catering's hands. Everyone can't stop talking about the food at our wedding and how they never expect good food at our wedding but that ours was amazing (our only wedding regret is not trying more of it)! Ott and Josh ran a tight ship the day of our wedding and everything was seamless. All in all, we are beyond thrilled that we went with Ballroom at the Ben and a Finley Catering Venue.

Everything we could have imagined!

Ballroom at the Ben was absolutely amazing! My wife and I are beyond grateful that we held our wedding here. The staff were excellent. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. We had Ott, Josh, Chelsea and Denise for our team. They absolutely crushed it and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us! Highly recommend this venue. It was worth every penny.

The best decision!

We are so glad we chose Michelle Finley and her team to host our wedding at the Ben. I could go on and on about how beautiful the ballroom is and how amazing the facilities and food are, but what I have to emphasize is the flexibility! For background, my husband and I are from West Africa and the Caribbean. As such, it was really important for us to infuse our culture into our ceremony through food, decor, and other. Michelle was INCREDIBLE! She was so flexible and really prioritized us having a specialized experience. Some venues can be very restrictive, and having a venue be so grand, beautiful, and flexible (especially as it related to our catering and food) was such a grand slam. As a general matter, the wedding was such a blast. We could not have picked a better spot.

Most incredible venue and people!

Words cannot describe the incredible venue and staff who consistently went above and beyond!! Chelsea is an amazing coordinator - responsive, friendly, reliable, and just wonderful. Ott and Josh were amazing and helped the rehearsal and wedding go smoothly!! They were there for absolutely anything we needed and all our family and friends loved them. Denise was the most outstanding waitress and is clearly such a seasoned professional. Thank you to this entire team for truly making this the best day of our lives and for the obviously INCREDIBLE food and drinks as well (every Filet was cooked to perfection)!! Also - just such an overall stunning venue - it came together even more beautifully than we imagined :).

A Night at the Ben

The planning and the day ran incredibly smoothly! Ott and his team know exactly what they are doing. The night was absolutely perfect and we had no issues. Our guests are still raving about it, and especially about the food at cocktail hour. The after party was also well worth it.

Perfection

After looking at many venues for my daughter’s wedding, we were awestruck as soon as we walked through the Ben. We also knew we were in the perfect hands when we met our venue coordinator Daria. She made everything so easy, she is so kind and professional and pure class. She remembered every detail during the planning stages. And on our wedding day we were so thankful we had Ott to make sure everything went perfectly. The moment you meet him you will be confident that your wedding day will be seamless. He provides invaluable guidance and pays attention to every detail, he is truly irreplaceable! Special thanks to Finley caterers, you are simply the best at what you do. The food, service and ambience is five star. People are still talking about the food, appetizers and dessert room. Also, bartenders are excellent never a line which is important. Thank you so much!

Finley Catering does it best!

I have nothing but good things to say about my day, ballroom at the Ben, Finley catering as a whole, as well as their entire staff. From beginning to end the planning process went extremely smooth, and accommodated all our needs and requests. My guests loved the food during cocktail hour and reception. People said it was the best wedding venue food they’ve ever had. The staff were so incredible in helping with my needs. Stephanie even helped my mom rebustle my entire train which was a nightmare before she helped us.

Wedding day!

I have not one bad thing to say about Finley Catering or Ballroom at the Ben. From the second I got engaged, Michelle was so attentive. She is extremely knowledgeable and really made my family and I feel comfortable. Her team was incredible and made our day absolutely perfect. The head waitress Denise and Maitr’d Ott made sure our families were attended to the whole night. My husband and I kept saying we actually felt famous. I would recommend Finley to anyone for their wedding day. They made us feel like family and made our wedding vision come to life. Dream Wedding

We cannot say enough good things about Finley Catering. From the moment we reached out to inquire, to our wedding day itself, Finley's team was such a dream to work with. Our coordinator was Daria and we could not have felt more supported and confident that she would make sure everything was perfectly planned. She was so easy to communicate with, so quick to respond, and you could tell she was genuinely invested in making our special day exactly what we wanted it to be. When we sat down to go over menu and day of details a few months prior, there wasn't one thing that Finley wasn't willing to customize for us. We truly felt so important and special. When it came to the week of, we worked with Ott and to say he is on top of everything is an understatement. He zoomed in on every tiny detail and made sure everything was perfect. We weren't able to have a rehearsal prior, which normally would have worried me, but it didn't because I felt so at ease that he would ensure everything ran smoothly - and it did! Our wedding day was absolutely phenomenal and people are still talking about it over two weeks later! The Ballroom at the Ben is a stunning venue, the staff is so helpful. The amount of food you get for the cocktail hour, plated dinner, and dessert is nothing like I've seen at any other venue and the level of customer service is through the roof. If I could do it all over again, I would. If you want to feel like royalty for your wedding from the planning to the day itself, choose Finley... you won't be disappointed!

Do yourself a favor and book yourself a wedding at BATB

Finley was absolutely UNREAL! My husband and I cannot say enough good things. We looked at about 20 wedding venues and could not be happier with our decision to book with Finley. From start to finish, they exceeded all our expectations. The food was not only delicious but served piping hot, which is no small feat for a large event. The cocktail hour was unlike anything we've ever seen; our guests were blown away by the quality and creativity of the offerings. My husband and I always had a drink in our hand, thanks to the fantastic service.
Brooke, Ott, and the wait staff were the real stars of the show. They ensured our reception went off without a hitch, making us feel like the most important people in the room. A guest with significant restaurant experience told us they had never seen a wedding reception executed this perfectly. Multiple times we were told that the reception was over the top! If you want your wedding to be a culinary and service masterpiece, Finley is the way to go!

Stampone/Minniti Wedding 6/10/23

There was never a doubt that my wife and I were going to book Finley. The debate was always which of their venues to choose! We ultimately went with the Ballroom at the Ben and couldn’t have been happier. Michelle Finley was our main point of contact throughout the wedding planning process while Ott Ricci was our Maître D’ day of wedding. They were an absolute joy to work with. The food (WOW), the detail, the staff, and the ambiance was just perfect. We knew we would have nothing to worry about. Having an 11+ year background in the wedding industry, I’ve seen it all. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But every time I’ve been lucky enough to work with the Finley family, that’s exactly how they treat you. Like family. And it was no different being on the other side this time.

Amazing wedding! We worked with Brooke and Ott! They were so fun and everyone! Brooke helped to bustle my dress and the venue makes planning so easy! Everyone tells us how much fun they had including our band! They had the ceremony there and even allowed our dog! Book them!

Another Spectacular Wedding

Absolutely spectacular! As if I had any doubt.
The Finley staff, food, venue - everything was perfect. Our guests were blown away and had nothing but great things to say. WE are 3 for 3 - 2 at The Ben and 1 at The Crystal Tea Room. Thank you all again for helping to create a beautiful wedding. I'm just sad that this was our last wedding. I need another reason to host an event at a Finley venue.

A stunning venue that made our big day a big deal!

Wedding of my Dreams

Can I give more than 5 stars? My husband and I met with Emily in August of 2019 and originally planned our wedding for October 2020 at Ballroom at the Ben, but because of Covid, we rescheduled to October 2021. If there is anything I’ve learned about the wedding planning process, it's how vendors and venues handled Covid weddings–we were one of the lucky couples because we booked with Finley. They were flexible and understanding from the beginning. Not only was it such a stress-free process during such an uncertain time, but the end result was AMAZING. Finley really gave us everything we wanted and more. The venue was gorgeous and the food was TOP NOTCH. The staff was simply the best; Ott and Barb really allowed us to enjoy our day without stressing about any detail. It’s been over 2 months since our wedding guests still rave about the food and venue space. From beginning to end, working with Finely was such a breeze–no hidden fees and no page left unturned when it came to details. If you’re looking for a stress-free wedding experience, look no further than Finely (all of their locations are beautiful btw). I promise, they will not disappoint.

Finley made my dream wedding a reality

I truly don't know where to start. 12/11/21 was so much more than a dream come true. Everything from start to finish was just pure magic and truly the best day of our lives.
I cannot express enough how amazing Michelle and the entire staff were throughout this entire process. Myself and several family members have several food allergies, and Michelle was considerate, responsive and proactive with planning and executing our menu. Everything was delicious and ran so smoothly the day of our wedding. It was so reassuring and wonderful to know I didn't have to worry about this on top of the other stressors that come with wedding planning.

Additionally, I have to give major compliments to Ott, Barbara, the bartenders and the waitstaff. Ott and Barbara were amazing, both for my husband and I, and our families as they tended to all of us the entire night. My family members were never without a drink, and they were able to TRULY enjoy themselves the entire night. Mine and Tim's parents could not say enough nice things about your team. The waitstaff were all incredibly friendly, fast, and efficient with serving and clearing plates throughout the night. The bartenders did a wonderful job of keeping the drinks flowing (appropriately and responsibly!) and kept the line moving as our guests continued towards each bar. Everyone was just so happy and it was because the night just went so smoothly.

I literally cry happy tears every time I think back to our wedding day, especially when I look at photos and videos that we continue to receive. Overall, everyone and I mean EVERYONE was stunned by the venue, impressed by the food, shocked by the quality of the service, and had a wonderful time - all thanks to you. You really made our dream wedding a reality and I am forever grateful. I am thrilled to recommend Finley with the highest regards.

Amazing venue and highest level of service!

We had our wedding at Ballroom at the Ben in August 2021 and it was amazing. Aside from the venue itself being gorgeous, the service was the best part. From booking our wedding, our coordinator Emily was extremely helpful in guiding us through the planning process and answering (a lot) of my questions. Ott, our maître d', was spectacular and made sure everything went off without a hitch the night of the wedding. And finally, our head waitress Barbara made sure me, my husband, and our parents were taken care of all night - we never went without a full drink in our hands! Finally, the food and drinks are what made the wedding so memorable to our guests. We have received so many compliments on how delicious all of the food was from cocktail hour through dessert! It is the best venue in the area!!

The last thing I said to you at our final meeting prior to the wedding was "I want everything perfect" It was a perfect, incredible, amazing day that will leave us with unforgettable memories. If we had to do this again, there is absolutely NOTHING we would change. The table setups, cocktail hour food and service, dinner food and service, bartenders, band, and most importantly YOU were all amazing!! Best night

We worked with Michelle at Finley and can’t say enough amazing things about her. Due to everything that happened this year we ended up having to postpone our wedding. Michelle made the process so easy. Wedding planning was not easy during this time, but Michelle helped us stay positive and excited about our upcoming wedding. On the day of the wedding her and the rest of the entire staff went above and beyond for not only my husband and I, but for every single one of our guests. From the food to the drinks to the service was perfection. I can’t thank everyone at Finley enough for hosting such a perfect night for us!! They are the best!!!

Above and Beyond

If you are looking for a dream wedding where you are the Belle of the Ball and your groom is Prince Charming then this is your ballroom. From start to finish it's what dreams are made of and you get to star in it! My son and "daughter" were married here last Friday. Every element of care was handled for us. The food was delicious, the lighting, the dance floor, the bridal suite, cocktail hour and so much more were all superb. Don't delay, make an appointment today and see for yourself.

Definitely Choose Finley Catering!!!

Finley Catering at the Ballroom at the Ben exceeded all of our expectations. We had the absolutely perfect wedding day thanks to them. We worked with Stacey from the beginning who is so nice and enthusiastic and makes you super excited for your big day! She had amazing recommendations as well that made our wedding truly incredible. Ott is also a dream come true. He makes you feel so incredibly special, you will feel like a famous person. Ott and the bridal suite attendant Barbara took AMAZING care of us. Everything runs flawlessly with Finley, you will not have to worry about a single thing. They are true professionals in this industry, extremely nice and personable and easy to work with, and of course the food is out of this world. We received so many compliments about the quality of the food (that is VERY plentiful!). Our guests were so impressed by both the cocktail hour, dinner, and the exquisite dessert room! Amazing Venue and Staff!

I would highly recommend the Ballroom at the Ben! We worked with Emily and she was amazing! She was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the process. She was always available to answer questions and responded to emails extremely quickly. She made the planning process a breeze and was a joy to work with! Ott was also incredible to work with. He was extremely organized and made the week before stress free. He took care of me and family the day of and made sure we had everything we need. My parents couldn’t speak highly enough of him.

The venue itself was incredible as well. My guests raved about the food, especially at cocktail hour. Many people said they have never been at a better cocktail hour. The venue itself is beautiful and the extra additions the Ben provides makes it truly a wedding to remember. The staff was all friendly, helpful, and professional. What you get at the Ben for the price is well worth it. I truly feel like every penny I spent was worth it and went to good use. I can’t recommend the Ben and Finley Catering enough, they made my wedding unforgettable.

Like Family with Finley!

From the moment we saw the Ballroom at the Ben we fell in love with the space. It was exactly what we were looking for – a big enough space that didn’t feel too big – intimate and cozy while still being able to have plenty of room for all of our guests to sit and dance. It also has so much character; we didn’t want a generic ballroom (and we’re huge Eagles/Silver Linings Playbook fans – so bonus!).

What really made our decision easy, however, was Michelle Finley and the entire Finley Catering team. Even without knowing in advance that Finley is a family-run company, you would know it upon first meeting Michelle. It’s hard to describe, but the moment we met her and Ott we felt comfortable. (Ott lives up to all that is said about him – in the best way!)

I know everyone probably says that their venue was easy to work with in order to realize their ultimate vision but in this case it’s really the truth. I admit that we were picky about wanting specific menu and drink options – Finley was the only place we talked to who made us feel not only that we could easily make everything happen, but also they did so without gauging us on the price of added specialty items. They understood what was important to us; Michelle was super organized and throughout the whole process – leading up to and including our wedding day – there was nothing we had to worry about.

When it comes to Finley it felt like we were family and they would treat us as they would any member of their family on their big day. We could not say enough great things about Michelle, Ott, the Ben venue and the entire Finley experience. It really was the night of our lives because of them and we are so thankful!

Perfect Wedding

My husband, daughter, and her fiance looked at nine venues and none compared in beauty, menu choices, space flexibility and professionalism. We first met with Stacy, who is so pleasant and knowledgable. Once we went to contract, she guided us through menu options - which were so plentiful, seating layouts, and all of the amenities. Then, she worked seamlessly with our wedding planner. A month prior, we met with Ott, who's role is everything: the logistics of the entire event flow through him and he doesn't stop for one second. From the coordinator, catering director, lighting designer, ceremony coordinator, go-to-guy for every vendor and everything else. Just call him the most efficient general contractor you will ever meet. In the middle of it all, he stopped to make sure that my husband and I tasted everything, special culinary requests were attended to, and the bride and groom were taken care of. Just thinking about how much he handled still makes my head spin. Now about the food: it was nothing short of divine. The cocktail hour included perfectly prepared lobster tails, lamb chops, oysters and even vegan selections. Chilean Sea Bass (just one of the main course options) was the best I've ever tasted. Our friends and family have very high standards, and everyone told us that three was absolutely nothing we could have done to make the evening more perfect. Thank you, Ott, Stacy and Finely!

Best Decision Ever

We knew the moment we walked into the Ballroom at the Ben that this was where we would have our wedding reception. Choosing the Ballroom at the Ben was the best decision ever! Our wedding reception was PERFECT. We worked with Emily throughout the entire process and she was simply amazing. She was professional, fun, and extremely responsive to my calls and e-mails. Emily was there through every question and concern throughout the entire process. We worked with Ott the week of the wedding and the wedding night. Ott is wonderful! He is funny, professional, and truly kept the night moving on time, and made sure all our needs were taken care of. He treated my parents and us like royalty. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour spread, how delicious their meals were, and of course the amazing dessert room. Many of our guests told us the venue was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been too. Our wedding was truly the best night of our lives! We could not have asked for a better night. Fantastic Experience!

The staff at Ballroom at the Ben made my daughter's wedding the event of a lifetime. Their professionalism and graciousness was superb! Ballroom at the Ben and Finley catering is truly top notch

Having our wedding at Ballroom at the Ben was the best decision ever. It was honestly perfect. Working with Michelle and her team was such a blessing and being able to have Finley Catering do our wedding was just a dream come true. They were always there for every question, every concern, and truly made planning the wedding EASY. Their business is truly top notch and all around class. It was truly the best night of my life and better then anything I could have ever imagined. I feel like I was treated like royalty that night. The cocktail hour food and the main course is something that is still being talked about by our family and friends three weeks later. Our family and friends are still calling us weeks later to talk about how amazing the night was and to say it is the best wedding they have EVER been to.

Emily and Ott were more than professional. They handled everything that came up. It is like going on an all inclusive vacation. You pay one price and every detail is handled to the letter. Choosing Ballroom at the Ben for our wedding reception was the best decision my husband and I could have made during our planning process. From the very beginning, we were extremely well taken care of. We worked with Michelle Finley and she was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. She was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions clearly and in a timely manner.

The room is exquisite and our guests were all in awe from the start. The cocktail hour food was over the top and the dinner was fantastic. We received so many compliments on the food (especially the filet) and also on the level of service. Ott was our mâitre d’ and he was amazing. He took a lot of time with us for our final run-through to make sure we knew how everything would work. The night of the wedding, he checked in on us and our families to make sure that we had everything we wanted.

Finley Catering and Ballroom at the Ben live up to all the incredible things you’ve heard. I promise that they will exceed your expectations! They are the best!

There is a reason why Finley Catering is known to be “simply the best”. There are not enough great things I can say about this venue. The service was impeccable, the food was insanely delicious (and abundant), and the venue itself is flawless. From the first time I picked up the phone to inquire about having my wedding here I was treated like someone they had known for years. It was so great to have such a pleasant and comfortable relationship from the beginning. Michelle could not have been more helpful, she was incredibly prompt with answering any questions I had, and was fully involved from start to finish. She was even there on the wedding day just to ensure everything was perfect. Ott was absolutely incredible! From our first meeting I knew I was in good hands, he took care of everything just as we wanted and described and made sure that we were totally taken care of, like family. Every single detail was just wonderful! It has been over a year since my wedding (I’m a little late with this review!) and our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. If there was an option to give over 5 stars I would, and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. They really are the best!!

I don't think that there are enough words to thank the staff from Finley Catering enough! Our wedding day was absolutely flawless thanks to Emily and Ott! Being an event planner made planning our wedding feel like a job and I obsessed over every detail. Emily and Ott were able to take all of the stress off of my hands and I didn't have one worry on the Wedding Day. Ott was so amazing that he even rolled the flower girl (our Pomeranin, Squashy) down the aisle when the ring bearer got scared. Marilyn was amazing and everyone always made sure that we had a drink in our hand from the toasts to the dancing! Being in many weddings I have never been to a venue where they handle everything, including packing up all of your belongings and labeling boxes for you! Their attention to detail was impeccable, they made us feel that we weren't just a couple getting married in their venue that day. I could not have imaged a more perfect venue for our special day!

My husband and I had the absolute best day ever! We have gotten so many compliments on how incredible the venue was, how tasty (and plentiful) the food was, how people had too many drinks because it was just so fun, and how great the staff was. We've even gotten a lot of "it was the best wedding I've ever been to" compliments! The bridal suite attendants and maître d' were just so accommodating and easy to work with. Everything that I wanted set up was done beautifully, even better than I imagined. I really can't say enough great things about how awesome the Ballroom at the Ben and Finley Catering made our day! The Ballroom at the Ben could not have been a more perfect venue. We had both the ceremony and reception there. From the first day we went there and met with Michelle Finley I knew we were in good hands. Michelle was SO helpful and got back to me right away with any questions I had. She mad our visions come alive. The other person who was absolutely incredible was the maitre d OTT! We LOVED him. I felt like he was a member of my family. Him and his staff made the night go by with 0 issues. I cannot tell you how many people have told me that my wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to, and that was because of Ott and the staff at Ballroom at the Ben. I hope that one day I can attend a wedding there as a guest!

The team at the Ballroom at the Ben literally turned my dream wedding into a reality. Michelle Finley made everything so easy to plan. She was very responsive to what felt like the hundreds of questions I asked her throughout the months leading up to our wedding. She was flexible and accommodating. And our day of coordinator Ott...I cannot say enough about how impressive he was. He has worked with Finley Catering for many years and he runs a tight ship to execute seamless events. Not only did he have our family laughing with every interaction we had with him, but he made us feel comfortable and completely trusted that our wedding was going to be perfect. The waitstaff was so attentive and friendly under his leadership. The food - especially for cocktail hour - was delicious and all of our guests raved about it for weeks afterwards. As me husband and I sit here waiting to board our plane to our honeymoon we can't help but reminisce about our best day ever! Ballroom at the Ben and Finley Catering was an absolute Dream come true to work with!!!! I honestly had the most AMAZING team (Emily and Ott) that I now consider my family! Finley Catering honestly becomes Family when you choose them for your wedding!!! It's honestly hands down the most amazing food and venue in Philadelphia!!! The whole Finley crew rocks, and made our wedding weekend memorable and stress free. The renovation at the Ben is gorgeous, and the value you get working with Finley is tremendous. They've been doing this a long time and it shows. Same goes for Ott and his team - he's a machine and made sure the whole thing went off without a hitch. Literally all we had to do was show up. Plus, since they've been doing it for so long, they had worked with all of our other vendors before, so that was seamless too. Book Finley at the Ben and you won't regret it.

My husband and I used Finley Catering for both our ceremony and reception on May 21, 2017. We had visited about 30 different venues before walking into Ballroom at the Ben we knew it was our place. We fell in love with how beautiful and different while still being a classic, vintage venue. There are a lot of pretty venues out there and what sets Ballroom at the Ben and the other Finley venues apart is the people behind it. I've never worked with a group that was more professional, welcoming and the clear embodiment of their motto "Simply the Best." Easily put, Finley is a family and it shows, when you book your wedding there you're part of the family.

Our coordinator was Michelle; she was quick to answer emails, phone calls and questions no matter when I asked them. She had the best recommendations on vendors. An uncle who was attending was ill and couldn't eat solid food Michelle and Ott (another Finley stand out) made sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed to have as great of a night.

Maitre'd Ott is among the best parts of working with Ballroom at the Ben. He kept everything organized, solved problems we didn't think of and soothed every fear that anyone had. He runs a tight ship that made sure our ceremony started on time, everyone was in the right places, people were happy and our reception went on without a hitch! We had last minute cancelations and additions and Ott made the seating changes without issue.

The food is outstanding, people are still raving about the cocktail hour and dinner 2 months later! Everything we ate was amazing. Everything came out on time so people had plenty of time to eat. The dessert room is the star though! Everyone had experience great cocktail hours and wedding dinners -- people had NEVER seen a dessert room and they loved it!

Finley was by far the best decision we made for ourselves and our guests, you can't go wrong picking them!

My husband and I got married at the Ballroom at the Ben in June 2017. We wanted a very romantic, classic vibe - and a one-stop cater (i.e. either Finley or Cescaphe). With a guest list of ~200, ~60% of which were from out of town, we ultimately selected the Ballroom at the Ben, due to convenience to downtown/the church (v. Cescaphe Ballroom) and the wow factor. We loved that cocktail hour overlooked the ballroom, and the ballroom itself was ornate and not cheesey. Ultimately, we worked with Emily at Finley who was incredibly responsive, informative, and enthusiastic. Her optimism and excitement throughout our whole process was very refreshing, considering she was probably working on a couple dozen other weddings, in addition to ours. We felt like we always had her full attention, and she was very candid (and helpful) as we worked with Finley to customize our reception choices. Ott was a rockstar the day of and really had orchestrated everything seamlessly, which from a bride's perspective is priceless. Paying for the majority of the wedding ourselves, we were budget conscious, but still wanted to throw an incredible party. With Finley you pay for premium food and service, and that's what we got - our guests were blown away by the ballroom and food and drink options (i.e. lobster and raw bar, taco bar, mozz sticks, carving station, ENTIRE dessert room, etc.). The experience we were able to provide our guests and the ease of doing business with Finley was worth every penny.

We had our wedding at the Ballroom this past weekend on 3/11/17, and I can't stop smiling thinking about that night! From the minute we got our initial tour with Michelle, service was top notch. Michelle was always quick to reply and extremely flexible. The night of our reception, Ott and the rest of the staff (shout out to Christina as well) completely blew us and our guests away. The evening was seamless thanks to the amazing service we received. The venue and food were phenomenal, and even three days later, we are getting calls, emails, and texts from our guests about what a wonderful night they had. From the moment we met with Emily and saw the Ballroom, we were sold! Emily made the entire process from start to finish easy and simple! Not to mention, the ballroom is absolutely stunning -- rich in nature, newly renovated, and beautiful with high ceilings, chandeliers, and gorgeous up-lighting. This venue is naturally so beautiful with its structure that besides for floral arrangements, it doesn't need any additional decorating. Finely Catering does a spectacular job with food -- you will not be disappointed with the amount of food served at cocktail hour and the deliciousness of both the apps and entrees! The bartenders kept the bar line moving throughout the night, the wait staff was quick to meet all guests needs, and Ott took care of everything else so you did not need to worry. Emily, Ott and the rest of the team were nothing short of amazing! You do NOT need to hire a wedding planner! These folks make things so easy, you should be a stress-free bride, seriously! I had so much fun planning this wedding AND planned it from Texas. Definitely a great venue with great people!

At a loss for words to describe how perfect our wedding was. We were so relaxed during the entire process because of how well we were treated. Stacey Lee Mullen was fabulous when we first booked to the day of. She was extremely prompt with emails and responses. Ott and Christine were simply amazing during our ceremony and reception. Whatever we needed, they provided. My dad even called Christine my "secret service" because of how well she took care of me. After our ceremony, we returned to the bridal suite and when we opened the doors Stacey and Christine were there to give us big hugs. They were genuinely happy to see us happy.

My HUSBAND and I can't stop talking about our wedding. It was perfect because of everyone at The Ben. Our guests have been flooding our phones with calls and texts raving about how amazing the entire night was.

The Ballroom at the Ben/Finley Catering did an OUTSTANDING job at my wedding on 9/2/16! People are still raving about how amazing and beautiful the venue was, along with the delicious and numerous amount of food. What also made a big deal in how wonderful it was, was how great the staff was. My guests all commented on how nice the serving staff was, they were very happy to be there and enjoyed doing there job. Everything turned out so amazing from start to finish. I worked closely with Michelle, you did an excellent job responding to my emails and set up everything that I wanted and did not miss a detail. Ott who worked with us the day of the event, also did an outstanding job. He made sure everything was set up how we wanted it, and really paid attention to small details of the events. He even had everything packed up for us to go at the end of the night. I cant say enough great things about this place, other than it is worth every penny. It was a perfect night and wedding and like I said my guests cant stop talking about how it was the best and classiest wedding they have ever been to from the staff, the venue, to the food etc. Hands down best :)

Talk with the staff (Michelle Finley is top notch), talk to other couples and identify what things about your wedding are most important to you. They attend to the smallest details and weave it all into a superb experience. This is our fourth child's wedding, and while they were all memorable, this venue and experience was head and shoulders above all others (sorry you other guys, still love you!).
The food is amazing and we are still getting compliments from our guests. Staging was flawless and they make it easy to have a great time.

Our daughter's wedding was Saturday 8/27/16. The Ben is absolutely the BEST! We worked with Stacey Lee Mullen. She is professional, responsive and eager to help in any way she can. Ott, the Maitre D is excellent. He professional and charming and above all, he is all about making sure every detail is executed and done to perfection. The venue is beautiful, the lighting magnificent. The food is amazing. We had Filet Mignon and Chilean sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Our guests were blown away. My husband and i recently got married at Ballroom at The Ben in February and I can honestly say it was the best night of our lives. We booked the venue before knowing what the renovations would look like, however, Michelle Finley assured me everything would be amazing. It beyond exceeded our expectations! It kept the elegant ballroom feel i fell in love with but added beautiful modern touches - they did such a phenomenal job! Michelle and her team were great to deal with leading up to the big day. Ott made sure the full day ran smoothly and did an amazing job. We had our ceremony there and it was just beautiful. The food and service were both top notch. All of our guest keep commenting on how beautiful the room looked and how great the food was! I highly recommend this place!

My parents suggested I inquire the Ballroom at the Ben due to them attending many weddings at the venue. Th ballroom is gorgeous, the architecture is unbelievable you do not need much to decorate the venue. If you book the Ballroom my suggestion is less is better. For those of you who have never heard of the Ballroom at the Ben it is the Ballroom Silver Linings Playbook filmed the dance scene. My coordinator was Nicole Festa. I couldn't compliment Nicole enough. Nicole is such a lovely and friendly person. I will admit, I didn't meet Nicole until 6 weeks out from my wedding. I booked the venue without seeing it and my parents met with her for me since I was always working. I trusted everything Nicole was doing for me. Nicole was very responsive to all my emails and when I suggested placing flowers somewhere in the Ben, she would tell me I don't need it. Guess what she was right. The linens, chairs, dessert room, curtains, all of it is just gorgeous. Ott was our Matire D. Ott has worked there for a very long time and he knows exactly what he is doing. When Ott says this is how we are going to run the reception, just sit back and say okay. Ott told me from his experience after the wedding party is introduced open up the dance for for 10 min, then we will start the speeches while the guests are eating. I originally wanted to knock out the dances and speeches right away. Ott was right! I had guests already sweating from being on the dance floor and I just sat down to eat my salad. They loved it. My guests said they loved that we did that so much. Ott and Nicole made sure everything ran smooth that night and I couldn't have asked for better people to run my day.

The Ballroom at the Ben was a dream come true wedding venue!! Our wedding planner, Emily was amazing! She was there every step of the way throughout our 18 month engagement! When it got closer to our wedding date, Ott was so helpful with the ballroom details and lighting! The Amber lighting turned out great in our photos and was used during the filming of Silver Linings Playbook!!

The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Cocktail hour food selections were vast and plenty. The main course was timely, well prepared and delicious. We chose the Filet and Crab Cake option. As for the dessert room, people are still raving about it months after our wedding!! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone! It was a huge part of making our day such a success!

Our Ballroom at the Ben wedding reception was beyond magical. From my first meeting with the wonderful Nicole Festa, I knew my fiancé and I were in good hands. She was there to answer any questions I had and always willing to make sure our reception was everything I imagined it would be. Ott, Nicole, and the whole Finley team outdid themselves. From the lighting to the food, they made our fairytale wishes come true. It has been a month now since our wedding and I still cannot get over how amazing the room looked. The blue uplighting and white dance floor truly captured the magic of our Disney theme. The staff was very professional and very eager to make sure that not only did my husband and I have everything we wanted but also our parents. Making sure our parents were comfortable meant the world to me since they were the ones that really made it all happen. I could not have asked for a better experience at the Ballroom at the Ben.

We are using Ballroom at the Ben as our reception location and although the reception hasn't happened yet the customer service is beyond fantastic. Michelle and her team are incredible to work with, they answer every email and phone call, they send you any type of information you could possibly need, and they do everything to ensure that you are satisfied and in the know with everything that is going on.

My husband and I just recently got married at Ballroom at the Ben on 10/23/15. The staff was very professional and the venue was all we could have dreamed of. Ott made the day go so smooth and we didn't even need to worry about a thing except for having fun on our wedding night! We are still riding an emotional high some four weeks since our daughter’s wedding at the Ben as we continue to receive notes and messages from our guests raving about our big night. The number pronouncing it the “best wedding we’ve ever attended” belies simple courtesy. It was, in fact, THE VERY BEST!

We were thoroughly delighted with our Finley experience. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, the service was impeccable. For us, it all tallies up to a five star value. Maybe my wife and I are only half joking as we consider renewing our vows just so we can host another big bash at the Ben!

Nicole was a complete pleasure to work with. She and the Finley organization were so very accommodating to our every need or fancy. The experience and expertise they brought to the table as they guided us through the process helped keep us focused and stress-free. She always had a ready answer, a simple suggestion, or an honest opinion, and for all of that we thank you so very much!

We’d like to offer a special thanks, also, to Ott and his staff. Ott presided over the entire affair from set-up to clean-up, expertly managing the party’s pace and coordinating our own production people, our florist, the band, photographer, videographer, and the rest. From our very first encounter with Ott, we knew we would be in good hands. He managed to be everywhere at once, and the evening came off without a single “hitch.” Thank you, Ott!

We recently held our wedding reception at the Ballroom at the Ben this past Labor Day weekend and I can honestly say it was a night dreams are made of. The entire staff, led by our maitre d' Ott, was so welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic, making sure our night ran smoothly. All of our guests raved about the delicious food and service, as well as how gorgeous the room looked. From the beginning, working with the Finley Catering group and my coordinator Trish, I felt at such ease with how accommodating everyone was. There is a reason that their dates fill up so fast and now I truly understand why. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our marriage!

Exceptional, perfect, worth every single penny. My wedding went off without a hitch! Ott and Nicole were outstanding to work with on my wedding day and throughout the year. Honestly, I felt like I didn't even need to do anything except hire a few vendors and pick up a few decorations, the rest was handled by the amazing team at the Ballroom. Our entire evening was just perfect beyond belief. The room was stunningly beautiful. We had both our ceremony and reception here on 8/15/15. I was so impressed with the ceremony backdrop - pictures don't do it justice! The reception set up was smooth and quick, and we got SO much positive feedback about the gorgeous view from the balcony down onto the ballroom. Friends and family also keep telling us how perfect the food was, and how great it was that you could smoke upstairs (we have a ton of smokers and it was so nice that they didn't have to leave the room). They also loved our specialty cocktail!!

Most importantly, it was such a pleasure working with Trish, Ott, Marilyn, and the whole Ballroom crew. My now-husband and I live in California, and it was not an easy feat to plan the wedding from 3000 miles away, but the whole staff made us feel so comfortable and secure throughout the whole process. On the day of the wedding, Ott made sure we knew what to expect - and he made sure our decor was set up perfectly, communicated with the DJ, saw to it that our specialty keg was taken care of, and answered all of our frantic last-minute questions. Marilyn guided me just before the ceremony, when I was the most nervous, and made me feel much calmer. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. And it meant so much to us that Trish checked in with us throughout the whole process, from Day 1 all the way to our dinner. Everyone at the Ballroom made us feel so at ease and so special -- we felt like royalty the entire day. All of the recommended vendors were just amazing. Everything came together so smoothly, and we didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. We were able to truly enjoy our wedding.

Our family and friends cannot stop raving about what a beautiful venue Ballroom is, and we are just beyond thrilled at how everything came together so perfectly!!!

Had the Most Amazing time!
From meeting with Michelle during the first planning meeting until leaving the ballroom and saying goodbye to Ott, Finley Catering was always vigilant and trying to make sure the bride/groom/guests didn't have any work to do. Everything was included, which made the day incredibly easy and smooth. This is all they do, and they know the space and what will/will not work. It was a huge relief knowing that I didn't have to set anything up/take anything down. The food was very plentiful, and refreshed at cocktail hour. The dessert rom was incredible! They even set up extra candle holders I brought and packed everything up in time to take it when the reception was finished. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a visually stunning venue with the easy of knowing everything will be taken care of for you. Thank you Ballroom for such a memorable experience!

My daughter got married this past March at the Ballroom at the Ben. My family and many guests are from New York and included many people in the entertainment industry who are used to attending lavish affairs. I won't say they are jaded; they are wonderful but are not easily impressed. Well, the compliments on the venue and how beautiful it is; the food and how fabulous, plentiful and "un-wedding-like it was" and the service keep coming. Our guests say the food was like that they've had in the finest restaurants in the world. The service was white glove all the way - and the venue is so beautiful and historic, it's no wonder it was chosen to be featured in the movie Silver Linings Playbook. We looked at many venues when my daughter first became engaged - but when she saw the Ben, she knew this was where she wanted her wedding. Trish Finley was so easy to work with, so charming and so much fun. She knows her stuff and we trusted her implicitly. She also made us feel like VIPs every time we met with her. I don't have enough complimentary words for Ott Ricci, the superman who is the maitre d' and wedding organizer extraordinaire. Under his exemplary care, talent and skills, we were made to feel like royalty that evening. Every single one of our guests complimented us on how beautiful and fun the wedding was. The food was beyond anything I've ever experienced at at any other wedding or party. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests were treated to an extraordinary evening and our beautiful daughter and her wonderful husband had a wedding they will remember fondly for the rest of their lives. The evening was beyond anything I could have imagined. Our guests enjoyed every minute as did we - but most important, my daughter and my new son-in-law had the wedding of their dreams come true at the Ballroom at the Ben.

My husband and I cannot say enough about how perfect the venue and staff are at the Ballroom at the Ben. The venue is gorgeous and looked amazing the night of our wedding. We worked with Nicole and Michelle for the coordinators. They were both very responsive and professional throughout our whole planning process. Ott was our Maitre D' and he was amazing. He is a no bull shitter and knows how to run a wedding (or any event) from start to finish!! We had our full trust in him that nothing would go wrong that night and it didn't. I could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else! Ballroom at the Ben is absolutely stunning! When my mother walked into the ballroom when we arrived on our wedding day (after visiting numerous times during the planning process) she broke down into tears at how incredible it looked. All of our guests shared this viewpoint and raved about the venue. The food was absolutely delicious! We still have people coming up to us to compliment the cocktail hour to this day. Allison and Ott were wonderful to work with and catered to our every need. I have nothing but great things to say about Ballroom at the Ben! If you're looking for a classy venue with beautiful views from the mezzanine this is the premier spot in Philadelphia!

It was love at first sight at the Ballroom at the Ben, and I just knew I had to have my wedding there! And once we saw Finley's menu offerings, it just made the decision that much easier!

We met with Nicole in early November 2013 wanting to get married sometime between Nov 2014-March 2015. The only dates available left in 2014 were the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and 12/13/14. We snatched the opportunity at getting married on such a unique date, and from there the planning began!

Nicole, who was about to be a new bride herself, understood all of the wedding stress and details that came along throughout the planning process. So whenever I had any questions or issues, Nicole was always there to answer and to let me know I had nothing to worry about. She was very accommodating to all of our requests and needs!

The week before the wedding, I began working with my Maitre D', Ott. Any review of the Ballroom at the Ben is going to tell you how amazing Ott is, and I really can't express it enough. He checked in with me all week long and handled all of the items I brought to him (favors, cake knife, toasting flutes, etc.) with extreme care and followed my instructions precisely. He really calmed any nervousness and anxiety I had about the reception and made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing!

Come our arrival to the Ballroom the day of the wedding, and we were just blown away by how beautifully it looked. They have garland and lights that they drape and wrap around the balcony from November-March, and it was breathtaking. It turned out to be everything I had envisioned and more, and our head waiter Ralph and Ott did an amazing job with working with the schedule and making sure we had time to eat!

Family and friends are still telling us how amazing our wedding was, and that they've never seen or experienced anything like it! So thank you so much Nicole, Ott, Ralph and everyone at Finley who made our special day one to never forget!!!!

As we enter 2015, I reflect back on the best year of my life so far. On August 8th 2014, Ryan and I had the most perfect wedding in Philadelphia. The weather, church, events of the day were all perfect. Then... the reception at Ballroom at the Ben was just simply put, the Best! The staff was so great and we enjoyed working with Allison to make sure we had all our unique details happen. The food was delicious and to this day, everyone talks about our wedding and the amazing cocktail hour. There is not one thing I would have changed. We lucked out being able to book The Ben for our wedding - I went to look at venues two days after getting engaged and there were only about 2 days available in the 2 months my fiancé and I were looking at (11 months later, mind you!). We met with Allison from Finley Catering and Ott, the Maitre De at the Ben. Both were extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I did not need a wedding planner - my family and I had these amazing professionals that we put our faith in. The whole day ran seamlessly. The guests were well taken care of, Ott made sure the day was well-run, and the guests could not stop talking about the food. From cocktail hour to dinner (we picked the Chicken Tuscany, Fillet Mignon Royale and Chilean sea bass) to the Viennese dessert room. All was so perfect.

Ott and Allison were wonderful to work with. They were both very responsive and tried to accommodate any requests that we had. I have hear nothing but amazing things from all of my guests about how attentive the staff was and how wonderful food was. They made my wedding fairytale come true. The ballroom is stunning and looked perfect that day. Ott runs a tight ship and the day ran flawlessly. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that I picked my wedding date because they would have added the greenery around the ballroom. I was not told until two days before the wedding that the greenery had been changed. When I walked into the ballroom it was different then what I thought it was going to be. I have also seen pictures of the room since and there has been more greenery added. That would be the only disappointing thing but I will still pick this venue over and over again. I was so happy!

Everything was perfect! The food was amazing: everyone is still talking about the cocktail hour and dessert room!
Ott the maître D was outstanding, a complete pleasure to work with. He saw my vision with the card table and table numbers and went with it. Our waiter was very careful with our cards, which was something I was worried about.
The ballroom itself looked amazing. We loved looking down over the crowd before we were announced as husband and wife, probably my favorite part of the evening.

After attending over 10 weddings in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area as guests in the last few years, when it was time for my wedding I knew exactly where I wanted to have it. Literally the day we got engaged, I left a message for Tricia Finley asking what dates she had for 2014.

Finley Catering has the best, most inclusive menu the area has to offer, nothing is held back or charged extra for. Everything is up front and included. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour's raw bar and sushi display along with the ice sculpture. For dinner, each of the 250 plates were served perfectly moist and tender, and Finley was happy to accommodate any issues with food allergies. Not only does Finley include cakes by Termini Bros. Bakery, but an entire room full of mini desserts and cordials. To say our guests left full and satisfied would be an understatement. Their food is simply amazing.

As for the ambiance, Ballroom at the Ben is exactly what I wanted in a Center City wedding. This room is not your typical ballroom in a wedding factory type place. First, they only do one wedding per day, you are the soul focus of the entire, well-trained staff (Ott will take wonderful care of you and your parents & bridal party). Between the large staircase, high ceilings, and beautiful uplighting, the room was incredibly romantic. My favorite part of the night was right before being introduced, my husband and I stood at the top of the mezzanine and looked down into the ballroom at all of our guests and just felt this rush of being incredibly blessed.

Thank you Finley Catering for providing almost 250 guests with what was felt by all to be a breathtaking evening wedding for our daughter, Kate, and her husband Robert. The ambiance of the venue, the food, and the service far exceeded our expectations and the compliments we received from the guests reflected that it was easily the most wonderful wedding that anyone had ever attended.
The setting for the wedding ceremony with the romantic architecture enhanced by the special use of the lighting, and the descending staircase created a grand entrance for Kate, and the acoustics of the ballroom were perfect, not only for the pianist playing for the entrance but for enabling everyone to hear the ceremony itself!
Now, for the food! As Theresa so well put it, "you blew us away!" Never have we, or our guests, had such exquisitely prepared food at a wedding reception - and that was the consensus of all of our guests. The selections superb, quantities more than sufficient so that everyone was able to enjoy each of the offerings. The entrees were extraordinarily thought out and prepared. And just when you thought that it couldn't get any better...dessert. An extraordinary array that left most of the guests feeling like they were in a candy store and not knowing where to begin! The dinner was truly "over the top" and raved about by everyone - which left us, as the hosts, overjoyed.
When your daughter comes up to you after the reception and tells you that this was the best day of their life and "thank you", it is hard not to shed a tear. For this, and for so much more, we can only say "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts. You all helped this to be truly an enchanted evening enjoyed by all.

We had a wonderful experience working with Finley catering as we planned our June wedding. Ott and Trish were great to work with - very responsible and flexible. We even had a few last minute changes as the reception began and Ott made it all happen seemlessly! The venue itself was great and the food was fantastic. They put out a great spread and provide excellent service. All of our guests were very impressed! Even our vendors were happy when they found out we were at the Ben and they would be working with Ott's team. Would absolutely recommend this venue and caterer to others. Thanks for making our wedding such a fantastic experience!!

Our wedding reception at the Ballroom at the Ben was nothing short of amazing! The venue is absolutely beautiful – it is the perfect setting for a classic, elegant wedding. The ballroom really transforms when the lights are dimmed and tables are set – a must see if you are considering a center city wedding!

We looked at several venues and found that Finley Catering was the best value given everything that the wedding package included. There were no hidden fees for chiavari chairs, up lighting and pin spots on the tables, premium liquor, etc. – most ‘extras’ were already included in our package price. The cocktail hour is also amazing. The quality and selection of hors d’oeuvres is unrivaled. Our guests are still raving about the food!

The Finely Catering staff is professional, organized, and easy to work with. Trish and Ott were always readily available to answer our questions. They were prompt with communication and made sure our wedding reception went off without a hitch. Finley Catering far exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend having your event at one of their beautiful venues!

There are not enough stars! My husband and I had our wedding at the Crystal Tea Room and worked with Nicole Festa and Miguel. They were both amazing to work with - so fun, upbeat and flexible. They made the planning process so easy and on the day I didn't worry about a thing - by the end I considered them friends. Everything was beautiful, classy and intimate all at the same time. Prior to our own wedding, we attended a friends at Ballroom at the Ben and gave the food a test run - everything was delicious and I made sure at my own wedding to eat!!!! All our guests are still talking about the wonderful time they had raving about the food and welcoming/friendly event day staff. I couldntve dreamed up a better setting for our special day.

Hands Down The Best Wedding Venue In Philadelphia! As a bride I wanted my fairy tale wedding and they gave me that plus more. Mary White in sales helped me narrow down my budget and figure out what I really wanted. Through the process she made me feel like I was working with a friend and made sure all our dreams came true. They gave us the cake, ice sculptures, chocolate fountain the works. We had John Legend sing at our wedding and even he complimented their work. All my guests said Otello Ricci the Maitre D' and all the staff made them feel personally catered to. I can't say enough... excellent!

The team with Finley Catering that were automatically assigned to me with our Wedding Reception Venue, Ballroom at the Ben, (especially Allison and Ott) were absolutely pronominal and provided us with a true fairy tale wedding that I always dreamed about. From our very first appointment to view the venue before booking, they were more than helpful answering all of our questions, assisting with creating my vision and worked with us to get the best experience and most "wow factor" for our budget. Ever since the date was finalized, those next 10+ months consisted of constant follow-up's with all the planning and coordinating details and it all certainly paid off because I wouldn't have changed one thing from our special day. There were several timing changes that occurred the night of due to rain and the Finley Catering team more than had everything under control. When the Bridal Party showed up more than 30 minutes past when the Reception was supposed to start, game time decisions had already been made by the team and our guests never even knew things were off schedule. Ott & Allison were both more than helpful once we did arrive in the Bridal Suite ready to help any way they could. They were there to help bustle my dress and literally hand feed me food as I powdered my face and re-touched up before joining our guests- that is true dedication to the job!! The team with Finley Catering more than exceeded my expectations and I am forever grateful for what they did for us to make it the most memorable night of our lives. I would HIGHLY recommend Finley Catering at their venue at the Ballroom at the Ben for your Wedding!

Don't look anywhere else! The ballroom is magnificent. Nicole helped us plan the entire wedding and made recommendations along the way. From the Band (Masquerade), to rehearsal dinner, she was our "go to" person. Then we met Ott, the Mater D and he just took over and made sure that the entire bridal party and parents were in the right spot at the right time. The food and the Viennese Room are describable! Absolutely over the top.Enjoy!

We cannot thank Ballroom at the Ben enough for the perfect evening of our lives. From our initial meeting with Nicole, we knew that Ballroom at the Ben was the only place we could imagine getting married. On our wedding day, they did not disappoint. From Nicole, to Ott, to the waiters, to the bartenders - everyone exceeded every expectation we had.

Ott was always there just when we needed him and moved us seamlessly from ketubah signing, to ceremony, to counting us down to when we would be introduced as Mr. & Mrs.

We never felt any stress from the day as we knew that Ballroom at the Ben had it covered. One of the guests actually could not believe that we did not have a wedding planner, and our response was - with Ballroom at the Ben, it is not necessary! They truly have everything covered! Ballroom at the Ben made our wedding not only one WE will remember forever, but our friends and family will as well.

My son got married at Ballroom at the Ben. Everything was great. Allison was great very helpful in all our planning. In 6 months she made everything go smoothly. From the day we met her to the day of the wedding. Ott the maitre'd was another that made the day go great. He helped with rehearsal, night of the wedding & followed up the next day. Staff was great. Everyone made it a night to remember without the stress. All our guest raved bout the room and food.

I had my reservations in picking the Ballroom at the Ben because of the location for a Friday evening wedding October 25. The parking was reduced in the evenings and the Ben offers an optional plan. The wedding was Fantastic. The bride and groom handled the arrangements and I sat in as Mother of the Bride. The staff was professional and answered their questions before and after signing the contract in a timely manner. We were able to visit and speak with staff at the venue several times to create what the couple really planned for a ceromony and reception space. That gentleman was very helpful and he kept the wedding flowing as we moved from one event to the next during that evening.
Guest comments have continued to be highly positive. The ballroom was a grand site. The food for both cocktail hour and dinner was amazing and plentyful. The service was great. I would return if I had another wedding or event to give.

The Ballroom at the Ben is a gorgeous venue - and extremely experienced in handling any wedding request you may throw at them! I worked with Nicole the entire way up until the weeks prior to my wedding then you get to work with Ott for the day of details - who is THE man. Everything was completely as I had it hoped to be - our guests LOVED the food - absolutely LOVED the food and were shocked about how much was there!! Your guests will be confused about the cocktail hour if that is dinner because there is SOOOO much :) Then you have the delicious meal - and top it off with the dessert room which has chocolate shots that can be filled with any liquor you'd want... guests LOVED this. Great venue, Great People, Great, Great, Great.... Ott will handle everything and is at your side even before you know you need him. He will do the lighting in the room exactly as you want it - and fixes anything that might go wrong - like if the balcony door won't open for some reason - he was there in a second opened it up and we were able to get the gorgeous balcony photo without missing any part of the wedding :) AMAZING
