Best wedding venue!! ⛵️🌊🍹
We are SO happy we got married at Bali Hai and our guests absolutely loved the venue. The staff, the food, the view, the drinks, everything was perfect. We were impressed early on with the planning process and coordinators. They made the whole year leading up to our wedding stress free and so fun. But our actual wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams and the staff made sure everything was perfect. We cannot thank Bali Hai enough for giving us the best wedding experience and wish we could do it all again. -

10/21/23 The Chows Wedding
We are absolutely thrilled with the outstanding service provided by the Bali Hai Reception Events Team for our wedding venue. From the moment we began planning, their team displayed exceptional efficiency, professionalism, and informative guidance.
Our guests, hailing from different states and countries, are still singing praises about the seamless and enchanting experience. Brittany and Ashley’s prompt and articulate communication made every step of the wedding process incredibly smooth. They were always there to respond, ensuring our confidence in the success of our special day.
The attention to detail and dedication showcased by the team were truly commendable. We appreciated the thoughtful wedding card and delightful sweet treat, adding a personal touch to our celebration.

Bali Hai was the best choice for venue for us in San Diego. The price was great for everything it included (set-up/take-down, ceremony and reception space, food, bar). We only had to set up table numbers and the welcome sign—they set up EVERYTHING else (aside from the floral vendor but that was so easy to get arranged).
Brittany and Ashley were very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning, and especially the day of. The ceremony and reception went by so smoothly.
We did the buffet and tray passed appetizers and everything was delicious. The location was perfect and we honestly could not be happier with how gorgeous and fun our wedding was.
A very big thank you to the waiters who worked our event as well. Lee was my (the bride) personal server during the event and she made sure I had everything I needed and more. No other venue provided as much as Bali Hai does and that alone makes it a fabulous choice for any event. -

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It was everything I envisioned it would be on wedding day! They even had a drink waiting for us after the ceremony! Top notch service.

We booked the Bali Hai for our wedding in 2020, then the pandemic hit and we were so grateful that the Bali Hai allowed us to reschedule for a year later.
When we first visited the Bali Hai, we were blown away by the gorgeous outdoor spaces and we knew that we wanted to celebrate our special day there immediately. We found the Bali Hai at a wedding expo, pre-COVID, and we felt that it was one of the more affordable options and it included the ceremony site, food, basic drinks, cake cutting, tables and chairs, etc. This simplified the planning process while still allowing us to have some flexibility to choose our own vendors. The event planning team at the Bali Hai was awesome and accommodating through every step of the planning process.
Our wedding at the Bali Hai was a dream and everyone had a great time. Everyone raved about the food and the cocktails are amazing as well. I couldn’t recommend the Bali Hai more. -

Bali Hai was simply the best venue to have our wedding. We got married in November 2022 and had 100 people. We were in the South Pacific Room and it was wonderful. I am so thankful for Jenny, Brittany and all of the Banquet Staff for making our wedding day the best experience ever. I cannot recommend Bali Hai enough. They made everything so easy for us. I am just so pleased with this venue. Again, it is simply the BEST! -

Awesome experience!
We just had our wedding at the Bali Hai on 11/11/22! We rented out the Hawaiian village and it was the perfect space for our 70 guests. A big shout out to Jenny at the Bali Hai who stuck with us from signing the contract down to the final details before the wedding . Communication is so important to me when planning a wedding and Jenny made sure to answer any of my questions within the same day :) if she couldn’t answer , someone else would on her behalf which was nice . Jenny is super sweet and everything on my wedding day turned out amazing! The staff was awesome and so attentive to my husband and I and our guests. I look forward to celebrating our anniversary every year at the Bali Hai ☺️ thanks again for making my dream wedding so easy to plan! -

Perfect Venue on the water in San Diego!!!
Bali Hai is the perfect San Diego wedding venue, and we had a perfect wedding there! It was by far the best value we found of anywhere on the water in San Diego. It was very convenient having the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and photos all onsite and all of our out of town guests appreciated that it was less than 10 minutes from the airport and walkable to nearby hotels. The food and drinks were delicious and heavily complimented, and the scenery was beautiful. The event team were efficient and professional with no issues or hiccups at all - Jenny and Brittany were super responsive, friendly, and wonderful to work with. The serving and bartending staff were excellent and made us and our guests feel well taken care of. Zero complaints, great experience, would do it again in a heartbeat!!Bali Hai Restaurant's reply:

Bali Hai was a dream come true. We are so happy with our choice. From the moment we booked, Jenny and Brittany were responsive and super helpful with all of my questions. They made the process very easy. The venue itself is beautiful and the set up was great. We got many compliments that said this was the best wedding venue they had been to and we agree! The views were stunning and I can't wait to see our pictures. Highly recommend Bali Hai and we will forever be fans of the restaurant and plan to return yearly :) -

We booked the Bali Hai for our wedding reception. The main coordinator Jenny made the planning portions so simple. She was extremely responsive over email. We loved that the Bali Hai provided the linens, tables / chairs, and food / drinks for the event all together. We ended up in the Hawaiian Village area outside & it was a simply gorgeous experience. Everything was prepared for our arrival at 3pm - tables, place settings, bar. Jenny stopped by several times to ensure we had everything that we needed. The wait staff were SO kind - they made sure our sweetheart table (for the bride/groom) was fully stocked with water, food, drinks & checked in on us multiple times. The bartender Mia was excellent and accommodated our guests various custom drink orders throughout the night. Our guest said the reception was a 12 on a scale of 0-10 (10 being amazing). If we ever have an important event to celebrate again as a family, we'd definitely return to the Bali Hai! -

Bali Hai was the perfect venue for our micro wedding (thanks, COVID) of 20 people, which mixed Chinese and Western wedding traditions. Having the ceremony, reception, food, and alcohol all bundled with one vendor made planning so much easier, and of all the venues we looked at for the type of wedding we wanted, Bali Hai definitely got us the best value. We had all the space and privacy we needed, the beautiful San Diego skyline in the background made all of our photos better, the food was delicious and accommodated dietary restrictions, and the plentiful free parking for our guests was a huge plus. Jenny, the event manager for Bali Hai, was wonderful in helping us make sure no detail was missed. She was flexible in accommodating our small group and patiently answered all of our many questions. All of the service staff were gracious and professional; the bartender in particular was a hit with our guests! We had no regrets working with Bali Hai and absolutely recommend it for weddings large and small. -

Wow, Wow, Wow, Bali Hai's wedding coordinators Jenny and Kendall are as professional, accommodating, very responsive, easy to work with and stress free as we could have asked for. After calling around, interviewing and visiting 10 different venues, Bali Hai stood out above the rest for both affordability and for the unbelievable venue site right on the water over looking San Diego bay. After deciding on Bali Hai and locking in a early 2020 wedding date we have had nothing short of a perfect experience with both Jenny and Kendall. They are easy to talk to and very attentive to our request, not to mention the food is amazing. We feel very fortunate to have been able to work with them and highly recommend Bai Hai as a dream island wedding venue in San Diego. Thank you Jenny and Kendall for what you do!

My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our ceremony and reception! Our guests loved the views, being outside and excellent food! The tri-tip was Da Bomb! Amazing! The Mai Tai bowls were a hit! The staff exceeded our expectations and did a fantastic job. Jenny and Kendyll were a pleasure to work with! The only thing we would do differently is order more appetizers. One per person is too little. -

The best decision we could have made for our wedding was hiring the Bali Hai as our reception venue. From the staff, to the food, to the beautiful views, everything about the Bali Hai was perfect. Jenny and Kendyll were so prompt to respond to any and all questions I had regarding the venue, and were very flexible with some rescheduling due to my husband's deployment, and a death in the family. I come from a large Italian family, so we've been to our share of weddings, and everyone in my family is saying this is by far the best wedding they'd ever been to. The food was fantastic, and you just can't beat those views. Do yourself a favor, and book the Bali Hai for your wedding! -

Finding the venue is one of the hardest parts of wedding planning. After having a Mai Tai a few months back we talked about how beautiful it would be to get married here! When we toured the Bali Hai it was hands down the place not just because of the good drinks and views but the service too. Jenny, our day-of and wedding go-to made everything about this stressful selection such a breeze! A lot of other venues only provide the space, and you have to coordinate everything else which can turn into a lot of $$ and a lot more stress. To have everything included– tables, linens, food, bar service etc., with options of an indoor or outdoor reception (we went with indoor) and the option of adding the ceremony on the back patio ALL under 1 roof with just 1 contact, made our planning process and budgeting so much more digestible. Jenny constantly kept us up-to-date on changes, what details she needed from us and just stellar communication overall. We were so lucky to have Jenny through this process and the outstanding team that helped provide such a magical day. I cannot recommend the Bali Hai and Jenny enough, our friends and family have and still are talking about how perfect everything was and how we had the perfect space to celebrate! Thanks again!!! -

We loved the Bali Hai and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outdoor wedding that affordable and chill. The ceremony site is beautiful and intimate and we held our reception in the outdoor space overlooking the bay. The food is very different than your traditional venues and our guests loved it all.
Kendyll and Jenny were great to work with and responded to all of our questions right away every time. The venue is flexible and you have more wiggle room to plan your wedding the way you want without being nickeled and dimed for everything.
We loved this venue, we loved the staff and we loved the relaxed, laid-back vibe, which was important for us! -

When planning a Hawaiian wedding, it was a no brainer to go with Bali Hai. After I received their initial quote, I was discouraged and thanked them for the information. But they quickly responded with their willingness to accommodate our modest budget. I couldn't believe such a beautiful venue would be so accommodating. The wedding coordinators are very caring and professional. They always responded to my inquiries in a timely fashion. The food was AMAZING! All of my guests were impressed and I am still getting compliments a month later. We were in the Hawaiian village, the outside gazebo, which was perfect for a July wedding. I highly recommend this venue for San Diego weddings! -

Bali Hai is simply the best! We got married 2 weeks ago, and every time we've chatted with any of our guests, they rave about what a great venue Bali Hai was - the food (tri-tip and salmon were AMAZING), the drinks (we recommend the punch bowls!), the view, it all makes for a great party! Working with the Jenny and Kendyll was a breeze and they took care of everything for us. We used the Hawaiian Pavillon for our reception and loved being outside. Our guests liked the fire pit right outside and being able to walk along the water if they needed a breather from all the dancing. Definitely check them out, I couldn't be happier with how our big day went. -

We had our wedding here this May and it was great! The event coordinators at the Bali Hai were super easy to work with and accommodating to our requests. We really wanted to have our wedding our the bay for the scenery and because we have done a lot of sailing together there. What sealed the deal for me was the Bali Hai has their own dock and I was able to arrive and depart by boat. The day of the wedding, I took my Best Man and brothers sailing, tied up and then got ready for the ceremony. My bride got ready in a room they have upstairs for that purpose. Most of our out of town guests stayed at the Bay Club hotel nearby and were able to walk to the venue. Shelter Island has other Hotel options and for those on a budget there would be other options nearby. For those that drove, there is plenty of free parking. The view of San Diego from the Bali Hai at night is outstanding. We chose to have a buffet and was little a concerned about how the quality of the food would be when it was served, but it did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. I didn't hear one negative comment about any of the food from our guests and feel they all had a great time! We have no regrets choosing the Bali Hai and would highly recommend it. -

We were married at Bali Hai 3 weeks ago and had the best experience ever!
Jenny and Kendyll are the best. They are extremely responsive, helpful and kind. They were easy to schedule with. We live in LA, so it was always challenging to find a time we could do the tastings, etc, but they were extremely flexible and helped us schedule accordingly.
And I can't say enough about the location and food. Every guest at our wedding commented to us about how beautiful the backdrop of the bay was and how unique the "theme" of the restaurant is.
The food was fabulous - especially our passed appetizers. We went with the Buffet and everyone said how much they loved it and how they went back for seconds. The servers were amazing and made sure our guests were well fed and always had a beverage. In addition, the security was top notch - we ended up having 2 wedding crashers (i think from the restaurant) and security took care of it seamlessly and with out anyone even noticing.
Kendyll and Jenny made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the process and helped with ideas when we needed, but we never felt pushed to do anything a certain way. I'm a vegetarian and allergic to shellfish - they went out of their way to make sure the entire event was shellfish free and even comped me a vegetarian meal.
If we could do our wedding again, we'd do it at Bali Hai. And we can't wait to come back here and celebrate our one year anniversary with dinner - and our signature cocktail - the paralyzing puffer fish! -

This is the most beautiful wedding spot in San Diego! I had many people tell me at our wedding that it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to! You can not beat the San Diego bay view during the day and the city lights and San Diego skyline is spectacular at night! I would highly recommend this venue! The food was delicious too! Jenny and Kendyll were awesome and helped make the whole wedding process as smooth and seamless as possible! They answered emails fast and met with me at the Bali Hai several times over the year I was planning our wedding. We had our reception at the South Pacific room and it was just gorgeous! The location makes for the most incredible photos ever! I am just in awe over our wedding pictures! I would 100% recommend this venue to everyone! -

From the event coordinators (Jenny & Kendyll) to the wait staff, my now-husband and I could not have asked for a more accomodating and organized group of people to help us execute our big day beyond our expectations. Having a group that is detail-oriented, organized, and fast responders was a huge priority for us in making the wedding as stress-free as possible. The tasting for the food was included with our package which isn't common. The food was great and was a highlight of our wedding day, as were the mai tai's and champagne punch bowl. You definitely get a great waterfront view at Bali Hai, but what you will get that you will not get elsewhere is by far the biggest bang for your buck. Choosing this place was most gratifying decision we made for our wedding. -

Absolutely! We have actually already told many friends and associates about our wedding and the wonderful venue and services of Bali Hai! It was the perfect setting with a very romantic backdrop of the City of San Diego on the other side of the San Diego Harbor. The city lights were very picturesque. Lots of our guests were from out of town. It was very convenient for them to get to the ceremony and reception at the same location. They were very impressed to have a view of San Diego lit up across the waters. The pricing options for the ceremony and reception were well within our budget. For those considering a location for a wedding and reception or any other event, we highly recommend the Bali Hai! -

Right from our first meeting, Jenny was amazing! She answered all our questions, and trust us there were many. She shared a lot of information based on her management and coordinating experience which helped us in our planning and timeline. The entire team was professional, responsive and accommodating to all of our requests, including providing a peanut free meal and venue for our wedding reception since we had a guest with a severe allergy.
The venue is a great value. They offer a ceremony venue with a backdrop that can’t be beat and a reception area with panoramic views, which will have your guests in awe. The food was talked about by all of our guests, many of which wanted to take home the leftovers. We would highly recommend the Bali Hai and working with Jenny to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Bali Hai is definitely the best value for a wedding. We had our ceremony & reception there. The ceremony site was breathtaking, I honestly couldn’t have pictured a more idyllic place to get married. This venue was magical! The view of the San Diego skyline was beautiful. We were outdoor in the Hawaiian Village on a perfect December night in San Diego. Jenny and Kendyll were great to work with. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Having open house nights were also very helpful as we were able to check out the venue multiple times throughout our planning while also meeting other vendors who have worked with Bali Hai several times. Food was great! The food actually tasted better the night of the event than when we did the tasting! The banquet staff were very friendly and always made sure Bride and Groom were taken care of. Bali Hai was perfect for us and was very fitting for our tropical themed wedding. I would love to relive our wedding day with them again. From the moment I contacted Jenny at Bali Hai to the end of our daughters perfect wedding, the only stress involved was choosing the perfect menu. That was easy, everything was delicious, you can’t make a bad choice. Every detail was taken care of by the wonderful staff. I never once had to ask for anything. We were able to enjoy the entire party without having to micromanage anyone. Jenny was so knowledgeable and made great suggestions to help us with the day. This truly was the perfect place for our daughters dream wedding.

Lindsey Sent on 03/20/2018My husband and I got married at Bali Hai in November 2017 and it was absolutely perfect! You truly can’t beat the views, and we got so many compliments on the food. We opted for a brunch daytime wedding, so the food was an eclectic mix of typical breakfast food and the more typical island/Polynesian food served at Bali Hai. I should also mention that we were trying to keep costs down while still having a fun, beautiful, enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, and the Bali Hai delivered 110%.
Jenny and Kendyll were wonderful to work with and so helpful in answering all of our many questions. They were also very flexible with us in terms of setting up the rehearsal and accessing the space a bit early for set up.
It’s an absolutely beautiful space, and if you’re considering it as a wedding venue I would highly recommend it. -

As a long standing customer and having attended a reception in the past it was not hard to choose Bali Hai. The staff was highly accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious and something everyone loved and couldn't stop raving about. The entire ceremony was everything we had dreamed and concluded the best day of my life marrying my wife Jessica. We couldn't be more thankful for the entire Bali Hai staff and all they did for our dream wedding. Our Wedding Coordinator Kendyll was amazing, she took care of every little detail and made everything perfect! We wanted to have a NYE wedding and wanted a venue that would be willing to work with us so we can party well on through the new year. Jenny and Kendyll did just that! Since the moment we met with Kendyll, she was kind and answered all of our questions. She presented us with the wedding packages and maybe less than a week later we gave our first deposit. Jenny and Kendyll were quick to respond to my many emails and always made time to meet with us whether it was a walk through with the wedding planner, the tasting, the rehearsal the day before the wedding or just to collect the next payment. One of my concerns for the night of the wedding was the weather and the possibility of rain. Jenny worked with us and said we could have our ceremony in the Hawaiian Village room since it was not booked and it is covered just in case it did rain. Thankfully it did not rain, and it was a beautiful clear night. They also arranged to have heaters placed so my guests were perfectly comfortable during the ceremony and they had an awesome view of the San Diego skyline.
We had the reception immediately following the ceremony in the South Pacific Room. We chose the Kauai Buffet Package because it included everything we wanted. We had tray passed appetizers, a buffet style dinner, and a hosted bar. Everyone said the food was delicious! The staff did a great job helping with the set up and something really sweet was one of the servers pulled me and my husband aside and fixed a plate for us to make sure we ate. Since we had a NYE wedding, we definitely wanted to have the countdown during the party. So our wedding started later than most of the weddings they do. They worked with us and let the wedding go till 2am! I absolutely loved my wedding at the Bali Hai and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue! -

From our first visit meeting with Jenny and Kyndall to tour the venue to the day of our wedding with the set up and tear down and all the caters serving our guests. They were so kind and professional. I couldn't think of a more accommodating staff. They really handled all the little things so that we could enjoy this celebration with all our family and friends.
Looking back, I couldn't be more thankful for how our wedding turned out and everyone at Bali Hai who helped make our special day one that we’ll remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend Bali Hai for weddings, brunch, dinner, or any life celebrations! This place has it down! Thank you to everyone, especially those in the background who made our wedding day so special. Kelly Sent on 02/24/2018My husband and I got married at the Bali Hai back in September 2017 and it was absolutely amazing! We had our ceremony on the patio area which was perfect! I loved that they provided almost everything you needed. We then had our reception immediately following at in the Hawaiian Village. It was perfect for us as we were looking for an out door venue that was water front, but early September can be really hit or miss with how hot it was so we loved that it was covered with fans for our guests. We chose the Kauai Luau Buffet Package as it was the most reasonably priced and it included everything we were looking for. The tray passed apps were amazing, we picked the coconut shrimp, spring rolls and bacon wrapped scallops. People raved about them! We also loved that the buffet included multiple salads, main dishes and a carving station. We had several people say it was the best wedding food they had ever had. It was fun food and delicious! We also hosted an open bar, and this is one thing that really sets the Bali Hai apart from other venues, they really let you customize it and work with you. We did 5 hours open bar but because wine was served at dinner closed the bar for an hour at dinner which helped save us a lot of money! They also include one hour in the package price so really we just paid for 4 additional hours per person, it was one of the most affordable open bars we found.
Kendall and Jenny were so easy to work with, they responded to my every question and truly went above and beyond. They helped us coordinate having a family members boat use the dock, saved us a ton of money on lighting/draping by helping us coordinate with other brides that weekend and they we very accommodating with the tasting time so my parents could come from out of town.
If you're looking for a beautiful water front venue with great food and people at a reasonable price look no further. The Bali Hai truly made our wedding the best day ever! -

Marilyn Sent on 02/20/2018I got married on a Friday evening in August 2017 and the Bali Hai was the perfect location for our wedding. We had over 200 people and had our ceremony on the patio overlooking the bay and the reception in the outdoor covered pavilion.
The events team at the Bali Hai made planning the wedding SO easy. They were great to work with, quick to respond to all of my requests, and helped me have the wedding I dreamed of without breaking the bank.
On the day of the wedding, the banquet staff made sure everything went according to plan. The food was delicious! My husband really wanted a roast pig and the Bali Hai made it happen! And the drinks made the night even better.
We loved everything about the venue and our special day and can't thank the Bali Hai enough. -

Everyone at the reception was blown away by the food, view, and service. Our event coordinators, Jenny and Kendall, went above and beyond to ensure all of our requests were met. We kept thinking about how great our reception was months after the wedding. We highly recommend Bali Hai for any private event you may have.

We planned the wedding from out of state and their email response time was very quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The ceremony site was beautiful and the views of the bay and downtown skyline were stunning. Our reception was held in the South Pacific room. I was a little hesitant about the indoor reception (the outdoor area was booked for our date), but the room was perfect and had a very indoor/outdoor feel and the nighttime views were beautiful! Our guests have referred to our wedding as magical and beautiful and have all raved about the food! Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time to eat so my husband and I are planning on having dinner at the Bali Hai next time we are in town. Don't miss the Mai Tai's and coconut shrimp!

Our guests are still raving about how great the venue was! Everyone from Jenny and her catering team to the owners Larry and Tommy were incredibly accommodating and pleasant! We loved the Hawaiian Village as our reception venue and our guests did too! We had a sail boat as our getaway vehicle and we absolutely loved that part as well. Bali Hai is such a beautiful restaurant that sits right on the water on Shelter Island, and the floor to ceiling windows show you the entire San Diego skyline. The food was absolutely delicious: we had the Asian Chimichuri New York Steak and Hoison BBQ Chicken with the plated meal option. The servers were friendly and helpful all night, and the bartender was excellent as well!
I think we really got a bang for our buck here, and it was the most inclusive and least expensive of all venues we previously looked at. Jenny, the event coordinator, was so helpful and very quick to respond to my many questions. She had the best suggestions and really helped make the night as great as what it was. -

My wedding was like a fantasy and my guests said that it was literally the best wedding they have ever been to and I believe a lot of it had to do with the beauty of the venue, the quality of the service staff, and the quality of the food and beverages that were served.
Jenny, even though she was very busy, made all of my wishes come true with respects to my needs and wants for my wedding. Jenny was hard to get a hold of at times, but she always either emailed or called as soon as she could.
Anyway, the wedding was gorgeous and our sunset "first dance" made for beautiful photos and memories! -

We first met with Jenny, the Bali Hai wedding coordinator, who was very organized and provided us with all the information needed to host our event there. Throughout the planning period, Jenny was so great in responding back quickly to all of my many emails and never made me feel out of the loop. On our wedding day, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were set-up beautifully and exactly how we planned. The food and service were exceptional and the whole day went perfectly. I am so happy that we decided to have our wedding at the Bali Hai and would not have changed one thing!! Thank you Jenny and team for making our wedding so memorable and GORGEOUS!! :) -

Overall the wedding venue at Balihai was beautiful and my guest had an amazing time. My guest kept complimenting that it was a beautiful venue. Appetizer was great. Prime rib was good. The two sales coordinator Lesley and Courtney were awesome and made the planning so much easier. I was firsf disappointed by the food during the tasking but the food during reception was actually better than the tasting. Their cocktail was pretty good also. I wished they would allowed for outside catering then I think it would be more of an attractive venue for asian couples as we like our traditions 9 course meal.

My fiance and I chose the spot for its fantastic views of the downtown skyline, but our choice ended being excellent in so many ways. Jenny, the catering manager, is amazing to work with. She listened to all of our ideas and gave us expert advice about what would work well and which ideas we may want to adjust. We had a large number of close family and friends, so it was very important for us to stick to our budget. The Bali Hai allowed us to bring in our own wine (for a corkage fee) and gave us ideas on how to craft a menu that was both delicious and budget friendly. The day before the wedding, I dropped off our wine and was assisted by the owner of the restaurant. He was so friendly, and was on site during our wedding making sure things went smoothly. We felt very taken care of. Our wedding reception was a dream come true, and our family and friends could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, drinks, and views were! -

Jenny at the Bali Hai is WONDERFUL (can't say that enough!) and she helped so much with planning prior to the day, as well as on the day of with little things here and there! The value for the quality of food and service is phenomenal, and everything was absolutely perfect! The servers wer on top of everything, and the room was perfect. Honestly, my only complaint is that I think they ate or threw away the left over cake (as I know there was a large amount left at one point and then I was told it was "gotten rid of") which disappointed me..(and had Shirley the Cake Lady's cake not been so GOOD I may not have cared!!) ..other than that, it was absolutely perfect. -

She does her best to get back to quickly and always answers your questions. My only problem was that some of the food was cold when we got to start eating. Other then that everyone has told me that my wedding is the prettiest they have ever seen and at the best location. -

Food was amazing, Lauren and Chelsea were great to work with and they listened to all my requests. The only issue was the set up of the chairs in the reception where I requested less chairs but they ended up putting all the chairs in the world on the site and unfortunately my ceremony looked a bit empty ;( but everything was perfect.. I was blessed by a super sunny day and a warm night where all my guests could not stop talking about... After checking more than 10 venues, I couldn't be happier with my final choice. Bali Hai is the best place to get married in SD area. Thank you Bali Hai for making my dream come true.
