Asal is a talented, patient, and compassionate hair and makeup specialist. I have a couple friends who have worked with her for weddings, and so I approached her based on recommendation and am so thankful I did. From our initial conversations, to a friendly meeting for a hair and makeup trial, to my actual wedding day, Asal was communicative, kind, and attentive every step of the way. My wedding party and I all loved her and felt her good energy uplift us on the big day. I even danced the night away and multiple people commented on how my makeup looked untouched at the end of the night!Asal Studios's reply:

Asal and her team are incredibly talented!!!! Asal, Maral, and Coco did hair and makeup services for me, my mom, and my 7 bridesmaids. The vibes in the morning before the wedding were fun and relaxed, and they truly take so much pride in their craft. My girls and I looked AMAZING, all night long!!!! To add to my five star experience, I didn't really know what kind of hairstyle I wanted. During my trial, I gave Asal some loose ideas, and she curated the most stunning updo for me, which was then perfectly recreated on my wedding day. My hair was my favorite part of my look all day, and Asal's vision truly came to life. She has a special gift and a talent working with brides. I am so grateful to Asal for helping make me feel absolutely beautiful on my big day! Not only was she friendly, polite, and accommodating from day one, but she went above and beyond by traveling quite a distance to be able to do our hair and makeup on site. She even got a hotel room the night before so she could do a very early (4:45am!!) start time! She was so fun and we loved having her and her assistant with us the morning of the wedding. My bridesmaids all felt beautiful, and my mom LOVED her hair and makeup. I was told by several of my girls (who are all veteran brides and bridesmaids) that this hair and makeup was the best they’ve ever had done. My mom—who isn’t a big makeup person loved her makeup and felt herself. Those in my party who opted out of hair and makeup (including a cosmetologists) all said they wished they had gotten it done because everyone looked so good. I can not recommend them enough, they were so so wonderful! Definitely worth the cost. You get what you pay for!Asal Studios's reply:

Asal is a truly amazing hairdresser to work with for weddings. She is very professional and also just a very nice person. She made me, the bride, and all my bridesmaids look spectacular on my wedding day! I had 7 bridesmaids, but it was no issue for her to work with a large group. She finished exactly on time and I was able to get to my wedding early, which is impressive with the large party I had. I also have very thick and relatively long hair, but she is very experienced and had no issues making it look beautiful in the limited time we had. She is also very prompt at responding to messages and very accommodating of any requests. Lastly, her prices are very reasonable for the quality of service that you are getting. Working with Asal was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding day. As a bride, there's so much expectation to look and feel beautiful on your wedding day, and Asal did just that. She worked with me to deliver the exact look I had in mind, and I felt and looked every part of the bride I had envisioned. Working with Asal was easy - she was kind, professional, and responsive. In particular, I really valued how smooth everything went on the wedding day - in fact, we were ahead of schedule so nothing was rushed, which is no easy task for a big bridal party (7 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and a bride). Asal and her team made sure the getting ready process was enjoyable and all of my bridesmaids looked stunning. Everyone felt and looked beautiful, and the best part was - it lasted all day! Ok, don't hesitate, book Asal right now for your wedding! I have no words for how spectacular Asal was from start to finish. She was the first wedding vendor I booked after I saw her incredible Instagram (@asalstudios - check out the before & afters!). She is a magician with hair and makeup and truly takes the time to listen and create the look you want. From the hair & makeup trial through the wedding day, she made the whole process stress-free and lovely. My bridesmaids and mom raved about their hair and makeup, and her! She was exceptionally communicative, on-time, fun, and just an all around pleasure to be around. She also took the time to take incredible pictures of my before and after looks and my bridal party and family getting ready in our suite, including posting an amazing reel of our getting ready time, and I'm so grateful to have these shots before we receive our official wedding photos! Words cannot describe how happy I was with Asal’s services for all events of my wedding!! She first did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, as I am very picky and wanted to see how she did. She blew me away with the airbrush makeup, and was able to easily work with my clip in extensions. For my wedding, she did a phenomenal job on my hair and make up as well as my bridesmaids my mother-in-law and my mom. My sister, who has never liked her make up done professionally, raved and raved about how Asal is the only one who could make her feel beautiful. Asal is punctual, professional and extremely courteous of what you ask of her. Her studio is clean and nice and she is also so much fun to chat with! I will be using Asal’s services for all future events and photo shoots I have coming up. She even recommended a lash formula to help my eyelashes grow in preparation for the big day. I wasn't sure what I was looking for in a makeup artist/hair, but Asal made me feel comfortable, provided plenty of options, and was overall just wonderful to work with. She was on time, took her time to get to know everyone’s preferences, and made us all feel special as we got our makeup done. Asal is simply the best! I worked with Asal for my engagement shoot and my wedding day for both hair and make up and I truly love her. She worked with my large bridal party and was so accommodating to everyone. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt beautiful (from my 16 year old sister, to my 80 year old grandmother). All of my friends and family were raving about her for weeks and weeks after the wedding! I definitely recommend Asal Studios to anyone that is looking for their wedding hair and make up artist, but honestly she is just wonderful for any occasion at all. She has a tremendous amount of experience and listens to all of your requests, concerns, and thoroughly answered all of our questions. I would say she shines at creating a glamorous look, but even my bridesmaids whom weren't really used to wearing makeup, she captured their beauty amazingly! The pictures look wonderful and my makeup lasted all night and late into the night! My hair also looked fantastic and held in even a July day and me dancing up a storm.

Asal did such an amazing job on my bridal party and my hair and make up. I felt so beautiful and my hair and make up turned out perfectly!! The airbrush makeup really lasted all day. I loved it!

What an amazing experience we had with Asal. She did an incredible job with all makeup and hair for me, my mom, and my mother-in-law. I have never heard my mom say that she felt gorgeous, but even two weeks after our wedding, she can't stop raving about how the makeup and hair made her feel. Pure Magic
Asal was great from the very beginning. I appreciated her taking the time for the consultation to find out what I was looking for. I shared with her previous bad experiences I’d had with make up artists not knowing how to deal with my skin tone and she assured me we would be able avoid this. She has experience working with all types of people and skin tones and we would be able to perfect my look at the trial. Asal was super responsive and would always get back to any questions or comments I had within a timely manner. My trial was done in time for my bridal shower, and even though I wasn’t quite sure about some parts, Asal knew what would look good and encouraged me to give it some time to sink in so I’d have a better gauge about how I felt about it (I generally don’t wear too much makeup on a day to day basis). She made me look and feel beautiful without making it look like I was wearing a ton of makeup. I was getting compliments all day on my hair and makeup. I tried an updo that morning and it did not budge all day until I took it out in the evening.
Skip forward to the wedding day. In addition to me, Asal did hair and makeup for my mother and best friend. She listened to what they had in mind and brought out their natural beauty. Neither my mom nor my best friend wear a lot of makeup and Asal did a great job doing natural looks for them.
I had a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony in the morning, for which she gave me an updo. I wore a headdress and so she planned my hair around being able to work with that, no problem. As for makeup, I had an unfortunate accident the day before the wedding that resulted in some mild bruising on my face that started to appear the day of. Asal was not fazed at all and made it disappear, like magic, with it still feeling seamless with the rest of my makeup. No one could have guessed anything was out of the ordinary. She stayed the extra time for me to have a change in hairstyle (updo to half down) and do a makeup touch up. I had brought a hair accessory that she incorporated beautifully. My makeup and hair were flawless all day (aside from some tears welling in my eyes that Asal took care of during the touch up). I could not have asked for a better person for the job. I am so glad I found Asal and am so happy with how everything turned out. I will be going to her for any of my future makeup/hair needs. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Professional on Camera Makeup and headshots
Asal did my makeup in her home studio for a training video that I did for work. I also had professional headshots taken that day. I am extremely happy with how I looked on camera and so happy with how my headshots turned out. I would certainly recommend Asal for professional makeup services. -

Asal did an outstanding job with my wedding hair and makeup. I had to make some changes to the arrangements due to COVID and reschedule the reception to December, but still went forward with the wedding ceremony in May as originally planned. Asal was very flexible with all the changes. She is easy to work with, and was very patient with all my requests. The airbrush makeup turned out absolutely flawless and lasted all day. I looked through a lot of makeup artists for my wedding and loved Asal's style so much more than anyone else I saw. My bridal party all wanted pretty different looks, and Asal and her team gave everyone exactly what they wanted, whether it was a more natural look or something more dramatic. I absolutely loved my wedding makeup and hair, and all of our hair and makeup stayed perfectly intact for 15 hours or more. Asal also has a really good eye and instinct for what would look good with your dress and the general look you're going for, even if you're unsure of exactly what you want, which was enormously helpful to all of us. I'll definitely be recommending her to all my friends and relatives who get married or have big events. -

I did a hair and makeup trial before my wedding and it looked awesome, closer to the wedding I decided I wanted to tweak my hair and Asal was very willing and able to do/change whatever I want on the day of. My makeup was flawless, I had never done airbrushed makeup before, but was so glad I did, and I loved my hair. Asal was absolutely amazing to work with. She is professional, reliable and very skilled. She made me feel very relaxed throughout the entire process and I trusted her completely. She was able to accommodate my trial on a late afternoon, listened to what I wanted and after the trial I booked her on the spot. I will say that I was very picky with my hair and makeup and prior to finding her I went to a few trials and none of them turned out the way I was envisioning. I was so glad I hired Asal and her team of beauticians for my wedding day. She personally did my hair and makeup, and all the makeup of my bridal party while her assistant did the hair of all of the bridal party members. During my hair and makeup trial, Asal worked with me/my complexion/my style to find a look that worked for me and made me look natural. We tried out several different eye makeup styles and Asal was very patient with me through the entire process (even though I changed my mind about both my hair and makeup several times!!). A few days before the wedding, we had one additional person who decided to get their hair and makeup done Asal was easily able to accommodate for that extra person. She was not only a pleasure to work with, but she was so kind and so wonderful to be around. She is clearly a very skilled hair and makeup artist - the pictures speak for themselves. But what they don't show is how pleasant and easy she is to work with. I highly recommend hiring Asal for your wedding day - it was one of the best decisions I made! -

When I was looking for a makeup artist for my Pakistani American fusion wedding, I wanted to find someone who had experience working with Pakistani brides but could do more natural looking makeup (I am not a fan of the heavy, cakey-looking makeup that typical Pakistani brides have). After reading reviews and looking at pictures on wedding wire, I came across Asal, who seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. During the trial, Asal listened to my concerns and vision and translated it into the look I was going for. She offered recommendations but was not pushy. On the wedding date, she and her assistants were on time and pleasant and helped relax me. She was able to give me and all my bridesmaids looks that we were happy with (even the pickiest of bridesmaids were happy with their look). Would definitely recommend Asal. You will be in good hands! -

She truly captured what we each wanted, including up-dos, braids, and beautiful waves that lasted all day!
