As the Mother of the Bride, I can confidently say that The Arts Ballroom is truly one of Philadelphia’s best-kept secrets. Forget the Ballroom at the Ben! Totally doesnt' compare to The Arts Ballroom. My daughter’s wedding on December 13, 2025 was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you step inside, the venue takes your breath away — the crystal chandeliers, the stunning grand staircase, the lighting, and the elegant cocktail room create a timeless, classic atmosphere that photographs beautifully and feels incredibly special. Originally, my daughter was set on the popular winery/barn wedding trend. I suggested she “just take a look” at The Arts Ballroom — and that was all it took. The moment we toured the space, her decision was made. It offers elegance, romance, and sophistication that is hard to find anywhere else. The food and service were truly 5-Star+. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and our guests are still talking about how incredible the cocktail hour and dinner was. Just as impressive was the Viennese Hour. The staff — the Event Manager, Maitre D, and Food Manager worked seamlessly as a team and handled every detail with professionalism, warmth, and care. The Events Specialist-Isabella Soto was phenomenal from our very first meeting through the wedding day itself. We felt supported, guided, and completely at ease knowing everything was in expert hands. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed flawlessly — allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I cannot recommend The Arts Ballroom highly enough. If you are considering it for your wedding, do yourself a favor and visit — you will be absolutely hooked. A truly unforgettable experience from start to finish. There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible The Arts Ballroom is as a wedding venue. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was the one — the space is timeless and elegant, with stunning architectural details, perfect lighting, and that unforgettable grand staircase. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Our guests still haven’t stopped raving about the cocktail hour, the entrees, and the legendary Viennese dessert hour.
But what really sets The Arts Ballroom apart is the team. Isabella, our coordinator, was a total superstar — responsive, professional, and truly invested in making our day perfect. She answered every question with warmth and precision and made sure we felt supported every step of the way. Emmy helped us master every detail of our rehearsal and processional, and our Maitre’D took such good care of us on the wedding night — we never had to worry about a thing. The staff runs a perfectly tuned operation with grace and calm expertise. They execute 100 things at once, and they do them all flawlessly. We could not have felt more cared for, and I can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Absolute perfection from start to finish. -

The Arts Ballroom is one of the best all inclusive spots for a wedding in Philadelphia! The location is perfect, close walk for those epic Broad Street photos and access to many parking options close by. The venue is one of the most beautiful and clean venue I’ve been in. Bonus points for being neutral and not having carpet. From the second we booked The Arts Ballroom for our wedding we were not disappointed. The whole team there are incredible, Isabella, Emmy and Therese were amazing throughout our whole wedding night. THE FOOD is incredible and we have not stopped hearing about how much all of our guests enjoyed the food. The selection they provide for cocktail hour and dessert hour is unmatched. And the dinner selection was amazing as well. You will not regret touring and booking the Arts Ballroom for your wedding! -

This venue gave me the perfect Cinderella wedding , my guest can’t stop taking about my fairy tale wedding that the Arts Ballroom gave me . People book this venue for any event you won’t go wrong trust. Please hire Nicole for your coordinator , I called her my CHAOS coordinator meaning someone who solve problems you never knew existed in ways that will blow your mind . She crossed all the Ts and dotted all the Is I love her so much. People the venue is beautiful the staff is great and the food is magnificent. I would definitely marry here again n again. Thanks to the Arts Ballroom for my perfect Cinderella wedding , thanks Nicole my fairy Godmother and thanks to the staff couldn’t have done this without you guys . Amazing Venue
The Arts Ballroom deserves more than five starts. My daughter's wedding was there is past weekend. From the moment they toured the venue with Taylor and all the correspondence I had with Taylor she didn't miss a detail. Taylor exceeded all our expectations. The venue is truly beautiful and the food is exceptional. Mike our Maître D was so attentive to every detail of the night and always made sure there was nothing needed. The cocktail hour was amazing with all the food and décor. We had guests coming up to us to say they have never been to such a beautiful wedding reception and how delicious all the food was. The entire staff during the entire evening was absolutely the best not missing a detail. I even had John one of the owners present and he could not have been more gracious and attentive. The Venetian hour was above and beyond what I could have imagined. If you want to have an amazing venue and delicious food that The Arts Ballroom is the one, I highly recommend The Arts Ballroom. -

This gorgeous venue and fantastic team will make your event meet every goal and dream you have. The event space was recently renovated and is perfect for a large gathering. There is great flow between the spaces and parts of the event (e.g. ceremony, cocktail hour, reception etc). The food is absolutely fantastic. The cocktail hour menus are extensive and tasty. So many options and so much food. They even create an entire dessert room like it's WIlly Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The location can't be beat either right downtown next to so many hotels and parking. -

We hired The Arts Ballroom for just our ceremony actually!
But I would also highly recommend them for both the ceremony and reception!
Such a stunning and beautiful venue in the city.
The staff was so accommodating with us visiting the venue, and also for rehearsal! They allowed our dog to be the ring bearer which was so important for us! I'm so grateful they allowed us to do that! The aesthetic is exactly what we were looking for, and they also gave us full access all morning to the suites upstairs for the bridal party and the groomsmen! My husband said they were even nice enough to give the guys some coffee as they were waiting for the bridal party to arrive!
Pictures here are also so gorgeous! 10/10 recommend!
They were super responsive anytime I had a question and were there when I needed help! And helped organize anything with the other vendors the day of the wedding! -

Arts Ballroom is such an amazing venue in the heart of Philadelphia. Great value - food, alcohol, everything all inclusive, even a wedding cake. We had Alaina as our event specialist - she was our point of contact and coordinator day of. She was extremely responsive to all of our questions and made everything very easy on our part. They were very flexible with all of our requests, and with payments as well when we had slight hiccups in getting to the bank. The venue is beautiful naturally and you do not need to do any decoration on your own, unless you want to of course! For us, that was a godsend as we just wanted to keep things simple but elegant, and the ballroom worked perfectly for that. We saved so much money on florals and other decorations with this venue. The food was amazing - all of our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres, the dinner, and the dessert display. The day of coordination also meant we didn't need to hire a separate planner for the day of. Alaina made sure everything was on schedule and people were where they were supposed to be and we didn't need to worry about anything. Additionally,

One word - perfect
We had our wedding reception at The Arts Ballroom on 11/19/21 and we would give them 20 stars if we could. From the moment we walked into the venue for our appointment and met with Alaina, we knew we were choosing here to have our wedding reception, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Aside from the beautiful atmosphere, Alaina was a big factor in our choice. She showed us around and explained how our evening would go from start to finish, answering all of our questions before we could even ask them. From then, as our wedding coordinator throughout the entire process, Alaina she absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful with everything from food choices, room set up, decor, seating arrangements, to timeline, and the list goes on. We had quite a few changes throughout and she was always on top of everything. She answered emails within hours, if not minutes, and was readily available at all times. We seriously could not have planned our wedding without her.
The night of was a dream and the staff was phenomenal. Chris, the manager, was awesome - whatever we needed, he got for us. We would get to the bottom of our drinks and before we could finish, he'd be there with a new one replacing our empty glasses. Michael, the matrie d, was amazing as well. He helped the night run so seamlessly and was there for anything we needed. The wait staff, bartenders, bridal attendant, etc. were all top notch as well. So polite, accommodating, and professional. A friend told me one of the hors deurves plates passed by her and she missed something she had been wanting to try. She said to her husband that she kept missing it and really wanted it. A waiter overheard her and brought her out a plate of whatever app it was. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Our guests were blown away by them and of course, the DELICIOUS food.
The food was SO SO good. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to the outrageous and best dessert spread I’ve ever seen, it could not have been better. Our family and friends are still talking about it and cannot get over how amazing everything was.
We cannot thank the Arts Ballroom enough for the most perfect wedding reception!!! If you’re on the fence about booking your wedding here, trust me when I say, DO IT. -

This venue deserves more than 5 stars all around!
I wish I could rate the Arts Ballroom more that 5 stars, because it really deserves it! My husband and I were recently married there (Feb 2020), and our experience from the moment we walked in for our first tour to the last few minutes of our wedding day was outstanding. This was the first venue we looked at, and we walked out knowing we didn't need to see any other venue. The service, staff and management were spectacular. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator, who was extremely accommodating, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Her and her team made all of our "wants" come true. The compliments and praise (especially for their cocktail hour, food and service!) are continuing to pour in from our guests, which makes booking this venue the best decision we made to celebrate our special day! -

We had such an amazing time celebrating our wedding at the Arts Ballroom!! My husband and I can't say how much we loved this venue enough. The staff was incredibly helpful and Kayleigh was an awesome coordinator. All of our guests also loved the venue, especially two separate rooms for the dancing/eating area and the bar/cocktail hour room. The food was also DELICIOUS and everyone loved the amount of cocktail hour food, dinner, and DESSERTS -

If I wrote everything I loved about having my wedding at the Arts Ballroom, I would be on this site for the next three years. Atmosphere-wise, this venue was BREATHTAKING. It truly is a hidden gem in the middle of Center City. The decor and ambiance is just perfect, you don't have to add anything to make your big day beautiful. The food is beyond incredible, every single one of our guests raved about not only the dinner, but the dessert room as well! It was a huge hit, especially the donut wall! The staff was incredibly accommodating; we were an out of state couple and they did everything they could to make the whole process easier for us. Alaina deserves an award because she truly made the entire process so easy for us. And the price is incredibly fair, especially considering everything you get in the package overall. We had about 140 guests total attend and there was plenty of room for everyone to dance, sit and feel comfortable. Honestly, there is no other place to even consider for your big day; we cannot thank the Arts enough! -

So happy we booked the Arts Ballroom!
My husband and I booked the Arts Ballroom about 2 years before our wedding and we were blown away with their professionalism! Alaina made sure every detail of our wedding was perfect, and we had a ton of guests describe it as the best wedding they've ever been to. The quality and quantity of food provided was outstanding and the dessert room was unbelievable! We have been in and been too dozens of weddings and have never experienced the level of service we received from the Arts Ballroom. While it might not be as well known as other venues in Philadelphia - it is 100% WORTH it! Book your wedding here before the word gets out about this hidden gem :) and request Aliana! -

Arts Ballroom absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. This venue was the only one I visited by myself. From the second I walked in over a year and a half ago, I instantly knew it would be the one. I worked with Alaina since last July and I can't put into words how incredible shes been. Her response time is impeccable. She's so consultative and remains calm at all times. She made me feel so comfortable with my decisions but also wasn't afraid to give advice about what may be best or what may need to be altered. I sent her pages of questions and when I went to meet her, she already had them printed out with all of the answers ready to go.
Onto the guest reviews and food. Absolutely incredible. My guests were BLOWN away. I heard them shouting about the cotton candy and milkshakes from across the room. It was like kids in a candy store. On top of that, cocktail hour was absurd. People were raving about the stations, ranging from fondue to steak and the raw bar. I had about 100/160 of my guests actually walk up during the wedding and say it was the best wedding they've been to, including half of their OWN CHILDREN.
Arts Ballroom gave us so much love on the night of our wedding and our attendant was also such a pleasure to work with. She made sure I was taken care of, had water to drink and that I had time to sit down and eat my dinner. They completely calmed me down and gave me quite frankly, the best experience and wedding night ever. Thank you to Alaina and the entire staff (even management on-site) for giving my husband and I an evening that we'll never forget.
If you want a top venue that screams class and elegance, this is your spot. Highly, highly recommended. -

Absolutely Amazing
Alaina and her team were the best. For a person that never wanted to get married...I would ABSOLUTELY have my wedding here again. It was the greatest nigh of my life and the venue was perfect. To sum it up:
- Alaina was extraordinary when it came to pre-planning, answering all of our questions, day of set and making sure all the attention to detail was taken care of.
- The menu was limitless and we didnt even get the highest package. The feedback from all my guest is that they were full of the cocktail hour appetizers. They said it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been too. The sea bass was great; I highly recommend it. Everything was so good that even forgot about the dessert hour until we saw guest coming out with cotton candy...like who really has cotton candy. They personally set aside for me the root beer float I asked for 6 months in advance.
The venue options for lighting was great. All of our pictures looked great on the steps. We had plenty of room for a DJ and a salsa band with 12 tables.
We are very happy that we were able to have an affordable wedding downtown and get more food than we asked for. We honestly had no clue that the package included all the food and drinks that was served. You will be very happy with this venue. -

We fell in love with the Arts Ballroom based solely on their WeddingWire profile. When we met with Kayleigh (the next day), we both immediately felt so completely at ease. Every single step of the way, the whole team had our backs, had the answers we needed, and made the process of planning a wedding almost impossibly easy. The day itself was an absolute joy. Our guests were as wowed as we'd been by the beauty of the ballroom, the truly astonishing spreads of food, and the thoughtfulness and care of the staff. (Extra thanks to Linda, who kept a steady stream of tea coming up to the bridal suite when I lost my voice!) Everyone here is amazing, but Kayleigh is amazing even for the Arts Ballroom; her hard work, friendliness, and attention to detail are unrivaled. She's a rock star. Thank you so, so much to everyone for making our wedding even more wonderful than we'd hoped it would be! -

The initial visit was very professional. I couldn’t even think of any questions at the time because they were all answered during the presentation. The space is beautiful and our planner, Alaina has been a delight. She has welcomed as many visits before our wedding as necessary and has been very responsive to my questions via email. I had my wedding at The Arts Ballroom, under the new ownership of John and his brother. From the very beginning, John was very accommodating with the packaging and pricing. After we booked the date, our event specialist Alaina Pacella was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! She was what every bride wants. Quick with responses, resourceful, and devoted. I could tell Alaina treated this wedding like it was her own. She found a way to make all of my 'extra' requests happen without any hassle. (free soft pretzels delivered to guests as they left, sparklers, extra food requests..ect.) During the reception, Alaina and John both worked tirelessly to make the event fabulous for everyone! They communicated with my other vendors before and during the event to make sure I didn't worry about a thing!
It is very rare to have a venue owner work during a Saturday night wedding. That proves how devoted he is to his clients. Our reception ended with a HUGE dessert room which was one of the highlights. All of our guests continue to rave about the food at our wedding.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married in the city. I chose this venue because it was the best package I saw. The venue itself is very clean and fresh looking; as many others look dirty and worn down. -

Rachel Sent on 10/12/2018As soon as I stepped into this magical venue I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. You can't beat the elegance in the room and requires very little extra effort to make it look spectacular. The Arts Ballroom was purchased months after I signed the contract for my wedding. Having a new wedding coordinator/staff and catering company half way through the process can certainly make one nervous however this staff knocked it out of the park. Several aesthetic change and the big undertaking of redoing the kitchen was accomplished on time. All changes that occurred only made our night more fantastic. Our wedding coordinator Alaina was a delight and was there for any and every little question I had every step of the way. The night of our wedding the staff could not have been more accommodating, professional or helpful. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour food (we highly recommend the bacon bar.. people went nuts for it!) If you're looking for an elegant venue in a bustling location with great food and drinks served by a fabulous staff this the place to check out!

Look no more this wedding venue has everything and more! The venue itself is stunning, the employees are super nice and very attentive. Throughout our whole process they were always willing to work with us. Isabella was amazing and so was John, the owner. We gave them our budget and they worked with us. It was a little challenging because my son and his bride are military, so I was on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue. Once I took the tour and they had champagne and a charcuterie board waiting for my friends and I, I knew we didn't have to look any further. Our guests raved about all the food for the cocktail hour and also how delicious it was for the reception as well. We brought in our own centerpieces and other items and Arts Ballroom allowed us to drop off our things two days before the big day. The entire wedding process they were beyond professional and always willing to accommodate our needs. I would 100 percent go back to this venue, you will not be disappointed!!! -

Venue was fantastic. Very good value for the city and tons of food offerings! Only concern was they plan a “presentation” to the couple right after your entrance as a surprise. It totally threw off our first dance. They then make you do this champagne pour they didn’t tell us about. Felt like the day was about them, not us. Overall outstanding.
