My husband and I interviewed and selected ARJ Productions in late 2024 (about three months into our engagement) to help plan our October 2025 wedding in Middleburg, Va. We are very happy with the service we received, and we unequivocally recommend them.
To start at the beginning - we interviewed four wedding planners. We selected ARJ Productions because they were very responsive, punctual, and present during our interview. We felt they were the best team to help us realize our vision. Also, we felt we could trust their judgement/recommendations - they stated upfront that they do not accept vendor kickbacks, and they require that their clients handle vendor payments. They provided access to aisleplanner.com so that we could manage 1) our budget, 2) vendor payments, 3) the wedding itinerary, 4) seating arrangements, etc. Lastly, they are competitively priced and we clicked with them personally.
Our only regret is not hiring them sooner!! We picked our venue prior to hiring a wedding planner, which led to some unexpected expenses because we didn’t know all the right questions to ask. Thankfully, Ari (ARJ Owner) and her team stepped in to resolve some major issues along the way. In addition, they connected us with top-notch vendors – a string duet, a solo guitarist, DJ, videographer, florist and rentals (tent/tables/chairs/dinnerware).
And that’s why Ari and her team are great. They are pure professionals who acted as our advocates and guides through the process. As the months to your wedding ticked away ARJ Productions was there keeping us on track, so that we wouldn’t miss key details/milestones – like sending out invitations, dress/tux selection, food tasting/selections, etc. They advised us on what we absolutely needed, what is nice to have, and what we could avoid - which saved us time and money. When we really wanted something, they made it happen. For example, we needed to pivot to an outdoor tent a month before our wedding, and ARJ quickly got us vendor options so that we could make a selection and get it locked in. It turned out amazing.
Once the big weekend finally came, Ari was on site, coordinating all deliveries, vendor engagements, and running a strict schedule to ensure everything went as planned. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make our day special. We wanted a classy, elegant and fun wedding - ARJ nailed it. We can’t thank Ari and everyone at ARJ Productions enough.

ARJ Productions were so fantastic to work with. From the first phone call it was clear that they were experienced and knew what needed to happen to make sure our day was a smooth success. They were flexible with the parts of the day that we needed built in to make our wedding personal and so many people commented on how personalized the day felt. We chose the month of package and were so grateful to have the team take over the coordination in the busiest period. On the actual wedding day every single moment ran smoothly. I never felt like I was flustered or people had questions for me, and when they did, they were always easy to answer so I just got to spend the day with my friends and family and relax. I couldn’t be more thankful to the whole team – they really made us feel cared for! -

If you are looking to have every box checked, look no further than Ari and her team at ARJ Productions for your wedding planning. Ari, Kristin and Jenny are the “A” team you want.! Being the MOB and my first big wedding, I relied heavily on their expertise and they did not disappoint. We chose to book the full planning option and so glad we did. Having their knowledge and guidance every step of the way is invaluable. They know what they are doing and are very responsive, organized and communication is excellent. Our questions were always answered in a timely manner and the aisle planner app they use helped us all stay on target. Weddings have so many moving parts and having Ari and her team there to help with every part of it made it less stressful. We had a private wedding service and then the next day a big reception. Ari and her team were there to assist with everything and anything, even helped pour champagne after the wedding service. Ari’s pleasant “can do anything” attitude is a blessing and her attention to the details, offering suggestions we had not even thought of was most helpful. She can refer you to vendors and also works well with any vendors you might have already chosen. Our reception was at the Crossvines in Poolesville, a beautiful venue, (highly suggest taking a tour, ask for Rhonda), and we had a 12-piece band along with many other vendors and Ari and Jenny managed all with ease. Everything went as scheduled and they made it look easy. Don’t think twice, hire them the minute you get engaged so they are there from the very start. They want you to have the best day ever and their thoughtful and caring attitude delivers just that. -

Ari, Kristin, and Jenny knocked our wedding out of the park and gave us the best day ever! Having Ari on site the day of was incredibly helpful, and she kept everything organized and on time. She even got us drinks and food! We planned our wedding from out of town, and it was nice to have her connections for several of our vendors. We were pretty clueless about wedding planning, and Ari made every meeting concise and clear about what was needed from our end. Every tiny detail came together in the end, and she saved us a lot of stress. She created our perfect timeline and helped us fulfill our vision of a non-stuffy wedding. Ari will be realistic with you if you are being a little delulu. Trusting her advice helped give us the perfect event in the end. In addition to saving us stress, she allowed our bridal party and family to be able to enjoy the evening instead of running around coordinating logistics. I would recommend Ari and her team every time! We loved working with her and are sad the planning is over. -

Ari Jones, Kristin Perine, and the whole ARJ team are outstanding. For the year prior to our wedding they helped us plan and organize every step, from the venue to the vendors and every small detail. They helped communicate with vendors, build an amazing timeline for wedding day, and made sure that everything was executed perfectly on the wedding day. They are responsive, kind, and easy to work with. Many of our wedding guests complemented the flow of our night, the small details that ARJ executed, and the care and attention they received at our wedding from the ARJ team. They were with us the entire process and everything was flawless. We are going to miss them now that our wedding is over, and we will recommend ARJ to all our friends and family! -

Ari, Kristin, and Jenny were an absolute dream to work with. Not only did we plan our DC wedding in 6 months, but we did it from states away. Ari and her team made the process so seamless and fun! They were kind and supportive with any question or request we had, very flexible with their availability, and quick to respond. Ari has so many great relationships with the best vendors in the area - you can completely trust her recommendations and know she will advocate for you as her client to get the best deals, results, and generally have your back throughout the process. Our vendor team was absolutely perfect - professional, experienced, and good people to be around. When some uncertainties arose with our venue, Ari took action immediately, was totally calm, and helped us keep things in perspective!
The day of our wedding could not have been more perfect. Everything went so smoothly! Ari kept things moving on schedule without putting any stress or pressure on the day or us. The vendors were all organized and knew what they had to be doing, when, and where because of Ari and her team’s planning ahead of time. This allowed us to be totally present and soak in every aspect of the day completely. We are overjoyed with how the wedding weekend turned out and keep hearing what an amazing time all our guests had!
With all that goes into weddings these days, using a planner is a must, and hiring ARJ Productions is a no-brainer. Great prices, FUN and KIND people to work with, and the BEST results you can imagine! -

We worked with Ari Jones based on my SIL's recommendation, as she was her wedding planner back in 2021. Ari and Kristin were fantastic to work with from start to finish. We booked them early in our wedding planning process, and their partial planning services ended up being the perfect fit for us. One of the most helpful aspects of working with them was their extensive network of wedding vendors. They helped us find our florist, bakery, DJ, and hair and makeup artist, and they were instrumental in coordinating with everyone to ensure everything ran smoothly. They worked seamlessly with the on-site planner at the Alexandrian Hotel, where we held our wedding, making both the rehearsal and the wedding day feel effortless. Ari and her team are incredibly creative and detail-oriented. While they handled all the major planning elements, their attention to detail truly shone on the day of the wedding. Ari ensured everything was beautifully arranged—from table settings to special items like photos. She made sure our guests knew where to be and when, encouraged them to sign our guest book, and even facilitated the distribution of the personalized letters we wrote to each guest, which included their seating assignment and meal selection. We are so grateful for all the ways Ari and her team contributed to our wedding. Her expertise and dedication are invaluable, and she has truly become a staple in the Northern Virginia wedding community. I highly recommend her to anyone planning their special day! -

Where to begin - Ari and her team are amazing! As a type-A bride who had most ideas of what I wanted ironed out, Ari, Kristin, Jenny and Jessie made me feel heard and supported. Ari is professional, she has great ideas, she is practical, she has the best recommendations, she responds to emails, texts and calls right away and I cannot say enough positive things about her! Ari and Kristin were an exceptional team! With their guidance the planning phase didn't feel too overwhelming and the wedding itself was flawless. Our caterer cancelled on us due to a disagreement with the venue a few months before our wedding date. Ari and Kristin were prepared with back up options when they relayed the news, which the caterer we went with ended up being, in our opinion, better than the original caterer we booked. It gave us peace of mind knowing how well connected Ari and Kristin are with wedding vendors in the area. All of their recommended vendors were remarkable. The wedding ceremony and reception were magical, and we did not have to worry about anything that day. Ari and Kristin made it so we could enjoy our day to the fullest. We would definitely recommend this team to any couple looking to get married! -

We hired ARJ Productions for our wedding and worked closely with Ari, and I have to say it was one of the best decisions we made to have our wedding go smoothly. We did the month of plan, but the communication with Ari started way earlier and she would always check in with us before hand to make sure we were on track or if we needed any extra help. Ari was and is so supportive and attentive through the whole time that we worked with her. There was a chance of rain the day of our wedding and Ari always checked in with us to make sure that we were calm and comfortable if we needed to do a last minute change with the rain plan, which we luckily did not have to do! Ari and ARJ Productions will always have my recommendation for planning a wedding in the DC/NoVa area! -

Ari and Kristin were so fun to work with throughout the entire process and I always felt like I was in excellent hands. Ari & her team made our wedding truly memorable. The big day came and went without major issues and Ari is a big part of having the day run smoothly.

Hiring Ari (full planning service) was hands down one of the best decisions we made at the beginning of our wedding planning process - which started in the fall of 2019 (aka the "before times"). With an original October 2020 wedding date, and a multi-day event in the works, you can only imagine the various vendor gymnastics required to postpone our larger celebration to July 2021, while also planning a small backyard elopement on on our original date. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no small feat, and Ari was a godsend through all of it - flexible, supportive and on top of so many moving pieces. Between the fantastic vendor relationships she brings to the table, as well as relationships she's able to build thanks to her responsiveness and professionalism, navigating the massive amounts of uncertainty involved in pulling off our wedding just as restrictions were lifted in DC was made so much easier. I honestly have no idea what we would've done without her! If you are considering hiring a planner, I could not recommend Ari more! -

We found and hired Ari in the summer of 2018 for our November 2019 wedding, shortly after we realized how daunting planning a large wedding in DC can be. Besides marrying each other, Ari was, by far, the best decision we made when it came to our wedding.
She helped us navigate through each and every little detail of the process to help make our vision of a dream wedding a reality for us. She is super responsive, down to earth, realistic and energetic. She was a great advocate for us when it came down to any issues or difficulties we experienced (which was very few thanks to her!). Ari makes you feel like you have her undivided attention for the entire duration of wedding planning.
Ari has a wide network of vendors in the industry that clearly enjoy working with her, as well, which is a great indicator of her personality and work ethic. I met and hired many of my vendors directly through Ari, which turned out to be a wonderful decision for us.
In addition to being a wedding planner, Ari also doubles as a crisis manager. Just a couple days before our wedding, the Nationals won the World Series and we learned that the parade was likely to march right through our plans. When I woke up in a panic and messaged Ari at 7AM, she had already been awake and devising an emergency plan with our vendors. Ari is worth her weight in gold simply for her ability to stay cool and calm under pressure.
Even at Ari’s full planning level of service, her prices are ridiculously inexpensive for the amount of time, work, and energy she put into our wedding. She was the superglue that held it all together, and we had a beautiful, seamless, smooth wedding that we could actually ENJOY.. all because Ari was working behind the scenes.
She is simply the best, and we are sad that Ari cannot plan every other part of our life from here on out. Do yourself a favor and hire her! -

We hired ARJ Productions to help plan our May 2019 wedding- and we are so happy we did!. We ended up picking her month of/day of service package. Ari was very helpful and was a great resource during the entire planning process. As someone that has never helped plan a wedding before, it was so helpful to talk through all the details with Ari. Because we chose the month of package, we did most of the planning and Ari brought it to the finish line. Ari will check-in on your progress and meet with you throughout, but the month of/day of package is very self-driven planning. A month before the wedding, Ari reached out to all our vendors to confirm details and ensure everything was good to go. The day of our wedding, I handed over my wedding planning binder to Ari and she made my dream a reality. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day because Ari had everything under control. ARJ Productions also provided an online program that helps guide your wedding planning. My husband and I thought it was very helpful and a great way to keep everyone on the same page. If you feel like you need a lot more hands-on help, I would recommend booking her all exclusive packages. If you check out their social media accounts, you can see that ARJ Productions knows how to throw a party! -

Ari is more than just a wedding planner, she's a miracle worker! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day and it was all thanks to Ari. She organized and coordinated, and worked her magic so that the day was seamless and beautiful for us. If there were whoops's or mess-ups, I didn't know! I floated through my perfect wedding without a worry in the world all thanks to Ari's preparedness and professionalism.
We started working with Ari about a year out from our big day. We signed up for the partial planning package which was well worth the expense. I can't tell you how many times my husband (still getting used to saying “husband”) and I said that this was the one line item on our expenses that we completely could not have lived without.
My advice as a bride who's been through it: Don't think you can do it all, hire a planner, hire Ari! We absolutely love her and can't imagine our life without her now that the wedding is over.

THE BEST!! They say wedding days can be very stressful but unfortunately this is a feeling I never got to experience because Ari made this day so easy for my wife and I it was like we were practically on vacation. Ari was on top of every detail, ahead of every issue, and executing every aspect of the wedding with perfection.
You will not be disappointed in Ari and her team. I guarantee you will not find someone better. If you don't go with Ari you are honestly making a mistake. She is AMAZING!! -

My family and I would not have survived wedding planning without ARJ productions, there’s no other way to say it. As a “nervous bride,” Ari and her team completely managed my stress and anxiety about the event and found ways to make it FUN, which is what it’s about! We had around 250 guests so there was a lot to manage. We used a ton of Ari's vendors, but the ones we did find on our own Ari worked with flawlessly, which is not always the case with wedding planners. She was on every call with vendors, and my *strong* suggestion would be to do the whole package so you can use her unlimited time, it's just not worth feeling like you can't have full access since the team has a ton of clients at any given time. Ari should think about charging more for her services, because more than planning, wedding organizing for a large and formal wedding is stressful in ways you can't predict before doing it, and Ari and her team are providing not just actual planning but de-stressing reminders so you don't have to freak out! Lastly, Kristen is great. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions. -

Hire Ari - just do it! I interviewed quite a few coordinators and felt I connected best with Ari. She was great to work from the entire time, even though based on our contract I really only had her services the month before the event. She's knowledgeable, has great ideas, has a ton of connections, and was fantastic and wrangling some of my less organized vendors. This was super helpful the week before the wedding when I had a million other things going on; she was able to solve problems I didn't know I had. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat. ARJ Productions was a god send. After abruptly having to change our wedding planner, we searched various wedding websites and came across ARJ Productions. With so many outstanding reviews, we decided to reach out for assistance. This was the best choice we could have made to ensure our wedding was executed based on our complex and detailed vision. In the beginning, we worked directly with Ari. Ari gained our confidence almost immediately. She was personable, professional, fun, and knew exactly what we needed to make the day a success. As we got closer to our wedding date, we began working with Kristen as well. Kristen was also outstanding to work with and she had the hardest job - responsible for executing all facets of our wedding day. The event turned out exactly how we wanted it to be, with many commenting it was the best wedding they have ever attended.
