I got married in a cow pasture

I am going to just start this off with that my husband and I got married in a cow pasture. Without Rachel we would have not been able to have the wedding of our dreams. We got married on my husbands family ranch...we had to bring absolutely everything that you could imagine to run a wedding venue into a cow pasture and we couldn't have done it without Rachel. She was there from Day 1 of wedding planning to the very last minutes of our wedding night to make sure everything was taken care of. She was there for numerous appointments meeting with vendors along with contacting vendors to bring in generators, water, police officers for parking, bathrooms, catering, floral, design set up, band and SO MUCH more. Rachel helped plan our entire wedding and didn't leave any little of big detail out and I know that this was not an easy wedding to do either considering how much had to be brought in to make it run smoothy! She made our ranch wedding magical and classy. I adore Rachel and have recommended here to just about anybody I know that is getting married. Thank you so much Rachel!

Rachel was amazing!! My husband and I live in Illinois and we knew we wanted a destination wedding but didn't know where to start. We came across Rachel's work and knew we had to hire her. She knew exactly what I wanted and made my dream wedding come true! Thank you Rachel!

Rachel McCurdy-Willems was the best decision we ever made regarding the wedding. From the moment we met with her she had our trust. She literally helped with all decisions and pulled together the most beautiful wedding. My husband and I had no idea about anything wedding related. Rachel took anything we discussed and brought it to life. Our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without Rachel and her assistant the day of. If you are deciding on a wedding planner, it is a must, and going with AATR will make your wedding day one you can remember and enjoy to the fullest!!

I made a deal with my fiancé when we were planning our wedding that I would speak with 3 different companies about every service we would need, ensuring that we would find one that would fit our needs, style, and budget. I met with Lisa at a coffee shop, and from the beginning of our conversation, I knew this was she was who we were going to be using as our coordinator. Lisa was professional, caring, understanding, and gave her honest opinion. Lisa answered every question I had, which was a lot since I have never planned a wedding before. I would meet with her feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, and every time I would leave the meeting feeling organized and like I was on the right track. Lisa tied up all the lose ends of our wedding the month before and had everything run smoothly the day of. I’m the most hands-on person, and it was very difficult to let anyone take over, let alone a stranger. However, I could not have made a better choice. Lisa ran the smoothest, well organized wedding I’ve ever been in. It was the most perfect day, and I owe it to Lisa. I can not thank her enough, and the entire team from An Affair to Remember for making my wedding so magical.

How do you even begin to write a review for someone that gave you the best day of your life?

We were halfway through our planning process, and things weren’t working out with our original wedding planner. We needed someone to come in late in the game and pull out a miracle – take over vendor relationships, fill in the many missing chunks, and provide a vision for a complicated wedding.

My husband and I were planning our 250+ guest Central Florida wedding long-distance from Boston, with my mom’s help locally in Orlando, and we needed a team that was able to regularly communicate with us via Skype, phone, and email, and all the while helping my mom with on-the-ground tasks in Orlando. We were overwhelmed, to say the least. We found Lisa and Kristen in a panic while searching for a professional, well-respected team to take over the planning. We needed someone who was organized, with stellar communication skills, and willing to handle whatever freak-outs we threw their way. Lisa and Kristen were willing to take on the job and assured us it would be the stress-free process we had dreamed of.

Immediately, Lisa and Kristen reached out to our established vendors and began filling in all of the holes we had in the plan – lighting, rentals, linen, drape, etc. They pulled together a coherent vision for the whole weekend and involved all of our vendors to make sure that the full “team” executed our dream wedding flawlessly. Lisa and Kristen were responsive, flexible, and worked tirelessly to give us the day we envisioned.

On the day of the wedding, Lisa, Kristen, and their colleague Katie ran the show masterfully. Every small detail was under control and allowed me and my family to truly appreciate our special event. Everything was simply extraordinary – better than we could have ever imagined.

We could not imagine being in better, more capable hands. We are still overwhelmed with gratitude for Lisa, Kristen, and the entire AATR team.

Words cannot express how much Rachel with AATR meant to us on our wedding day. She has such a creative mind that took my book full of pictures and brought them to reality. After a few meetings and emails back and forth Rachel presented us with vendor and design options and helped us pick out everything we needed to bring our wedding ideas together. Rachel was extremely professional, always on time and organized. She managed all the vendors directly so that we never had to worry about coordinating when/where everyone needed to be. She organized our schedule for the day of the wedding, providing everyone involved with a printout of an itinerary, making the wedding day flow seamlessly. On the day of the wedding we did not have to lift a finger. Rachel not only coordinated it logistically, but her creative image brought every detail I had imagined to perfect completion. My friends and family were free to relax and enjoy themselves on our special day. Looking back I can honestly say that her services were the best money I spent at my wedding. Thanks to AATR we were actually able to relax and spend time celebrating our big day with our friends and family.

Kaylin from An Affair to Remember was absolutely amazing in helping us with our wedding! She was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process (even before our "month-of" service officially kicked in) and she made the day of our wedding go absolutely perfectly. She juggled sensitive family issues with ease throughout the day while also making our vision for the day come together perfectly. At first, I was really on the fence about hiring a wedding planner. I really thought I could do it all on my own and be okay. I was SO wrong. I was a full-time student in a stressful grad school program and the last thing I had time to do was plan my dream wedding. We met with Lisa from an Affair to Remember and it was a perfect match. She listened to all our ideas and was able to add her input to make our wedding even better than we imagined. Lisa was on top of all our vendors and communicated with us often. She made us feel very included, even though my life was focused on my crazy clinical schedule. We even had 9pm phone conversations just to go over the details of the wedding. Our wedding was absolutely AMAZING. Our guests still talk about how beautiful (and fun!) our wedding was. We were able to actually enjoy our day without worrying about details. My bridesmaids all commented on how I was the "calmest bride" they have ever seen and I can thank Lisa for that. She took care of everything before, during, and after the event. Lisa and Kristen are truly amazing!

Hiring Rachel from An Affair to Remember was the BEST money I spent on my wedding. I truly mean it when I say nothing else that day would have been possible without her.

During the planning process, she really listened to my tastes/ideas and took them to a bigger and better place all while minding my budget. Having her there to help coordinate my floral planning appointment was SUCH a relief for what could have been a very daunting task.

As for the BIG day, worries will always come but she was a step ahead of me the whole time making sure everything was taken care of! My bridesmaids have all raved how easy and stress free the day was even for them! Everything we had worked so hard to plan turned out even BETTER than I had pictured. Rachel and A Girl and her Glitter even surprised me with an extra paper flower section because she knew one just wasn't going to be enough.

I am so grateful for all of Rachel's hard work. I would HIGHLY recommend her and An Affair to Remember to all future brides.

Look no further!! I couldn't imagine working with anyone but an affair to a remember. I personally worked with Rachel McCurdy-Willems who was referred to me by a friend. She went above and beyond my expectations and executed the wedding of my dreams perfectly. Rachel and AATR have so many contacts from the paper needs to linens. I found linens that I absolutely loved and she looked all over until she finally found them in California! She was constantly doing things like this for my husband and I. The whole time leading up to my wedding and the day of was stress free. Rachel is so easy to work with and is the best wedding planner.

An Affair To Remember came highly recommended to us from multiple different resources. We couldn't be more appreciate to have received those recommendations. Lisa was a serious trooper. We dealt with a lot of unexpected changes in our wedding party and had a lot of personal touches and events to add in, which lead to having to change the schedule on her multiple times. Each time, she graciously scheduled time for us to chat (mostly late night phone calls to accommodate our schedule!) and was helpful with recommendations to make it easier on us. A lot of our wedding was also DIY, and Lisa was extremely thorough to make sure everything turned out exactly how we imagined it. She even went out of her way to pick up some extra personal florals for us on the way to the venue the morning of the wedding. With even more changes with the bridesmaids during hair & makeup, we got quite a bit behind schedule, and Lisa managed to keep the stress levels down and get us right back to where we needed to be, something that seemed impossible at the time. To top it all off, when we walked in to our sneak peak before our reception, not only was everything where we had planned, but Lisa had added her own artistic touches and repurposed a lot of the decor from the ceremony to perfect the the reception. We couldn't have been happier! We would highly recommend An Affair To Remember and their team to ANYONE looking for any type of wedding/event planner.

Kaylin was awesome! I'm so glad I decided to go with a wedding planner. I chose the day-of-service but Kaylin was available to help answer questions, bounce ideas off of or just vent during the entire wedding process. She really helped me make my life easy and turned my day into a carefree event. Though, she made sure to keep me and my husband on task! I don't think I could have asked for the day to go any smoother. I credit a lot of that to Kaylin and the AATR team!

Lisa and her team were absolutely amazing throughout the wedding season, and then on the big day! She kept an accurate detail of every single thing that needed to be done. She was able to help me organize and gave me countless awesome referrals.
I would say the most priceless part of having her as my wedding planning was how smoothly EVERYTHING went on the actual wedding day. I did not need to direct anyone. When I decided that I was going to have a destination wedding in Key West (and I live in Washington, DC), I knew that I needed a wedding planner. A couple of my friends have used An Affair to Remember for their weddings and they had so many nice things to say about them, and now I do too! My wedding wouldn't have been as stress free and organized if it wasn't for Rachel and An Affair to Remember.

We hired Rachel and AATR for their month of wedding planning services, along with an extra fee to have them research vendors in the area. Rachel used her knowledge of the industry, along with what we wanted, and helped us find that most amazing vendors. She was always available for me to call, text, or email her and would get back to me quickly. She would even "check in" with me if she knew we hadn't talked in a while. The month of the wedding, she took over all the vendor contracts and made contact with them to make sure everything was going the way that it should.

The day of the wedding, Rachel and Ashley did everything and anything that needed to be completed in order to make my day flawless. They held my dress, checking in with Chris and I to make sure that we were okay multiple times through the day and night, and even taking important things (cards, decor, cake, and cake topper) back to my room so that we can go out with all out friends after the reception. I did not stress about anything the whole day, which is totally unlike me!

If you are thinking about hiring AATR, don't think...just do it! You will not regret it. Rachel and Ashley were super friendly and extremely professional throughout the entire process. My wedding day couldn't have been more perfect and I owe it all to Rachel and An Affair to Remember!

This vendor was a no-brainer for me. I'm a wedding photographer and have seen the intense talent and attention to detail in the AATR girls from all of my brides that have hired them. I have gotten a unique opportunity to work with them as a fellow vendor - and I knew that no one else would be able to design and plan my entire day like they did. From the very conception of my "mood" and concept for the wedding, Kristen Johnson took over with the design and gave me the most unique, beautiful and original wedding day I have ever seen! From dual circle tables to a hand-painted dance floor (that SHE hand painted), handling the creative design with all my vendors and planning every single tiny detail - she even helped us with our budget, design trials, seating chart - literally everything. I didn't want anything to do with the planning process (seriously, I can't handle it) and she took everything over and made it beyond the most beautiful event I had ever been to - and it was mine! I was infinitely lucky to know these girls and have them with me for such an important event.

Kristen Johnson was amazing to work with. She made my special day so beautiful and even more special. She is really fun to work with, very creative, and stays on top of things. For the day of she made sure everything ran on schedule just as I wanted it, she kept me calm and stress free the day of. For the reception she was on top of everything making sure everything was perfect for Chad and I. She was always available and keeping me sane throughout the planning.

I loved working with her and would recommend her to any future brides. She's the most talented and creative woman i know.

Krista was also there the day of my wedding, them two make the absolute best team ever. Krista was super sweet and also on her A game the entire time.

I was one of those people who originally didn't think I needed a coordinator, but I'm so so so glad I changed my mind!

Lisa was so great to work with. We had her for day of coordination services, but she was so much more. She was a sounding board for any issues that came up or questions I had. The timeline she provided was so helpful and she kept me on track with to-do's of things! There are so many details that go into the day of and I have no doubt some would have been forgotten without her and her team.

She worked with the other vendors great and was willing to go along with anything my husband and I wanted.

Having a day of coordinator allowed us (the couple and our parents) to relax and enjoy the day. One of my favorite parts was as the doors opened to the Church and she looked at my Dad and I and said 'enjoy every moment.' Well, Lisa, thanks to you and the team at AATR....we did :)

Kristen Johnson with AATR is amazing! First the first time my family (dad included) met her at Starbucks, I knew she had to be the one to plan our dream wedding. She took my thoughts and ideas for our wedding and turned it into something more than I ever could imagine. She would answer my one thousand daily emails immediately. My mom booked Lisa as a Day of
Coordinator as a wedding present for me. It was the best present I could have asked for. She turned out to be so much more than just a day of. She answered every little question I had right away. She reminded me if stuff that needed to be done that I hadn't even thought about (and I was pretty organized)!
And on wedding day I just relaxed and soaked it all in. I didn't worry about a thing except about getting dressed. Even my all about budget Dad said that Lisa lady was worth the money. She packed up his car and had the venue taken down in a blink of an eye. Nothing but good things to say about this company!

When I got engaged, I had so many visions in my head of what I wanted my wedding to look like but I had no idea about the possibilities until I met Kristen and the AATR team. I got married at Bella Collina two weeks ago and Kristen worked with me from the beginning. By the day of my wedding I knew that any decision she would make in regards to decor and vendors would be 100 percent perfect. Like any big event, we faced some challenges along the way but Kristen went above and beyond to make my dream wedding come true. Her knowledge of the wedding industry and her relationship with all the top vendors in the area made the planning seamless for me. That's because she took the brunt of all my last minute changes, countless emails, doubts, questions, decor ideas, and even my crazy Brazilian family. Not to mention my beautiful chandelier and tent! Let's just say she spent most of the Tuesday before the big event in a government building because of a last minute vision I had in my mind. Something that was def not covered in our contract. Actually, she did did so much more than what was covered in the contract that makes my head spin. She hand designed my seating chart and menu among some other things. EVERYTHING was made possible because of the AATR team. Every penny is worth spending because you not only get it all back in savings from her relationships but you will get a magazine cover wedding and a great friend to add to your list. If you are in Central Florida don't just hire a planner, hire a best friend. I know I did.

I got married very recently, and hiring Lisa was truly the best decision I made throughout the whole process. I was the first of my close friends to get married, so I was quite unsure of how it all worked! When I first met Lisa, I was intimidated by the whole planning process. I felt pulled in many different directions, and Lisa helped me manage all of the happy, sad, scary, wonderful, overwhelming rollercoaster of emotions that we all come across when planning a wedding. Whether it's a "complicated" family, or just a poor vibe with a vendor, Lisa smoothed out all of the would-be drama and challenging details.

If you're worried about the cost of wedding planners...DON'T! An Affair to Remember has connections with every vendor worth hiring in Central Florida. The discounts alone from my association with AATR paid for the cost of hiring them!

I have heard from every vendor I used that AATR is absolutely the best, most respected planning company in the business. If you are worried about specific etiquette rules, Lisa will take care of it. If you aren't sure about a small detail, Lisa will fix it. If 900 of your friends want to crash your reception, Lisa will fix that too.

I have had so many people tell me that our wedding was the most fun, organized, and well decorated wedding that they had ever been to. They told me that they could see all of the hard work I put into crafting and making things "my own". I work a lot, and could never have done all of these things without help from Lisa. I truly owe her my sanity and my mom's sanity!

So I worked with Kristen Johnson, and let me just start by saying there is not a thing in this world she cannot do! I've already told her, but she's wonder woman. From the very beginning she does anything and everything to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and she makes you feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. She answered every single one of my (many) emails/ texts/ phone calls. Everyone, including my usually oblivious husband, raved about how awesome she was and how much she did for us the day of. She, herself, rearranged all of the chairs for our ceremony because they weren't set up right on top of all the hectic-ness on a wedding day. It took such a burden off of my mom and I knowing Kristen was there taking care of everything. She went above and beyond any regular coordinator. I really don't know how any plans a wedding without her knowledge and expertise! I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know the second they get engaged. I, as well as my friends and family, have nothing but good things to say about her. All I can say is that Lisa with An Affair to Remember had her hands FULL when she began working with us!! I am a night shift RN and my husband is a firefighter; so our schedules were what you would call…difficult!! She was amazing with being able to answer any and all of my question during my normal waking hours! As our wedding day became closer and closer, Lisa was on the ball with reminder emails and texts of what I should be working on or already have done! These reminders are the only reason I was able to even be prepared to make it down the isle!!!

Our wedding party was HUGE!!! We each had a party of 9!!! Like I said before, I married a fireman…who also happened to play college football. Lisa kept every single groomsmen (& bridesmaid) on schedule & where they were supposed to be so everything could run smoothly!

If I was to ever plan another event or anyone I know were to get engaged…Lisa (An Affair to Remember) is the first phone call that MUST be made!!!

An Affair to Remember's wedding planning service was invaluable and worth every penny I spent. My daughter couldn't zero in on a theme nor could she focus on accomplishing tasks. However, Lisa Bowen with An Affair to Remember, was excellent at working with Danielle's crazy work schedule (she is a nurse and works nights.) Lisa kept us on schedule and was simply fabulous at the wedding. She organized and planned everything perfectly. No issues on this big day and I was able, as the mother of the bride, to relax and enjoy my evening with my daughter and new son. I have another daughter and when she plans to get married, I won't hesitate to call Lisa Bowen again! That, to me, speaks for itself!

There is NOBODY Like Kristen Johnson. Not only did she take my broad thoughts on what I wanted my wedding to be like, she took them and turned them into a dream/reality! Even when I got side tracked with vendors- she always had my back and would remind me what I truly wanted/visioned. My wedding was truly a dream come true. Now she is not only my old Wedding planner.. she became my baby shower planner- and friend forever!! She is truly talented.gifted.and a kind soul.

Rachel was just wonderful. Hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding. She was so organized and helpful and would answer literally any question I had, and I had A LOT of them! Hands down, my wedding was a dream come true and it was executed so perfectly because of Rachel and An Affair to Remember.

When meeting with vendors, everyone knew her and only had the most wonderful things to say about her and continued to tell me over and over again that I was in the best hands.

A the rehearsal, Rachel was AMAZING at keeping everything organized and everyone knew exactly what to do on the big day. She even kept my groomsmen in line, which I could not have done :). And for the day of the wedding, I was so calm. She took care of EVERYTHING and worked so wonderfully with all the vendors. At a time, she pulled me and my bridesmaids to get a look of the reception room before everything started and it brought tears to me eyes. It was so beautiful. She took my vision (along with many, many of her wonderful ideas) and flawlessly brought it to life. I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about Rachel and An Affair to Remember!

We selected AATR’s full planning package for our daughter’s wedding because we wanted assistance both with locating quality vendors and navigating the planning process. Lisa Bowen was so helpful and professional during every step of the 16-month planning. Her knowledge of local venues and vendors is extensive, and it was clear during meetings with vendors that AATR is very well-regarded by wedding service providers. Lisa was helpful in sending us to look at businesses that she knew were competent and reliable and that fit the style of the wedding (some of whom gave us discounts based on Lisa and AATR as our planner), but we never felt “pushed” to use any particular vendor. She kept us informed and on schedule throughout the process so that we never felt rushed, and she was invariably pleasant, calm, and very easy to work with. The wedding at Knowles Chapel and reception at the Portofino Bay Hotel were beautiful and everything we and my daughter and her fiancé hoped for; everything went off perfectly and we didn’t have to sweat the details. We would highly recommend Lisa and AATR for wedding planning at any level of service.

I found Lisa Bowen and an Affair to Remember through an online search for wedding planners. The minute I met Lisa, I knew she was 'the One' and that an Affair to Remember was the company I wanted to work with. After having worked with Lisa for nearly a full year, planning the perfect day, I can honestly say that the money we spent on An Affair to Remember's services was - hands down - the best money we spent on the entire wedding!

Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Lisa was absolutely stellar to work with! She was extremely prompt with return phone calls, return emails, vendor lists, etc. Every step of the way, she let me know what I needed to be thinking about - photographer, videographer, florist, venue booking, wedding dress, etc, etc. Wedding planning can, at times, feel quite overwhelming but with Lisa's help, it was a breeze!!

Fast forward to the ceremony rehearsal and the wedding day itself - Lisa was there, again, every step of the way! She took care of every single last-minute detail so my groom and I could just enjoy the entire weekend, without having to be concerned with anything. The day of the wedding, she had everything so completely under control, I was able to spend the afternoon just relaxing with my maid of honor and bridesmaids. Everyone commented on how relaxed and happy I looked walking down the aisle and throughout the entire day - I give all the credit to Lisa for that!!

Lisa and the rest of the girls at An Affair to Remember made sure that our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be - and MORE! The entire day felt like a fairytale and everything went so smoothly and perfectly, our guests are STILL saying that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to!

I worked with Kristen who designed at planned my wedding while Rachel and Olivia were my day of coordinators and all three of these ladies were fabulous! My bridesmaids and I were able to just have the most relaxing day getting ready and not have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. And Kristen had the best planning advice and really listened to what my vision was and turned it into the most beautiful day!

Going with AATR for our big day was a no-brainer. I LOVE the team so much and remain friends with them to this day BECAUSE of the great work they did to make sure my day was more than perfect. We hired Lisa Bowen through the Petite Package option of An Affair to Remember, but she was so much more than a day-of coordinator! Lisa was available to answer any questions I had throughout the planning process and recommended so many fantastic local vendors. We were able to save money through the discounts we earned by using her vendor connections and, more importantly, the end results were absolutely wonderful!

I enjoy planning events and wanted to take charge of my wedding, but it gave me such peace of mind to know that I had Lisa's knowledge and expertise backing my decisions. She made great suggestions along the way and thought of details that didn't even cross my mind.

Lisa really proved her value during the wedding weekend. It was such a treat for my mom and I to be able to sit back and enjoy the festivities while Lisa and her team coordinated with the vendors and created a seamless wedding celebration -- from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Many guests have said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to and, while I'd like to think it was due to my planning abilities, I know that Lisa is the real reason the evening went so well!!

I absolutely could not have had the wedding I had without Kristen Johnson and the team at An Affair to Remember. By far, hiring An Affair to Remember was the best decision I made throughout the planning process. I was on the fence about a wedding coordinator, it was going to be a good portion of our wedding budget. I'm fairly organized, I thought I could probably pull it off on my own. When all was said and done, the guests, in-laws, and bridal party all agreed that hiring Kristen was the BEST DECISION EVER. They were blown away by her expertise and professionalism.

First, let me say that she pays for herself with all of the discounts she gets from the local vendors. And she will put you in contact with THE BEST vendors in Orlando. I met with at least two vendors in each category. Every vendor I chose went beyond my expectations with regard to service and quality. I never would have found them on my own. And she will negotiate those contracts and get you the best deal! If you're not 100% in love with everything, she will make it right come wedding day.

She was on it as far as replying to emails/questions...and I had a lot of them! When it came time for the wedding rehearsal, she grabbed the bull by the horns and made sure everyone was completely comfortable with their roles. The bridal party couldn't stop talking about what an asset she was!

The wedding day...WOW. I chose an outdoor venue where you bring in your own vendors and I had A LOT of vendors. She made sure each knew when to arrive, when to unload. The schedule she showed me was unbelievable! The weather ended up being a bit chillier and windier than ideal for an outdoor wedding. No worries on my part, Kristen took care of it. She made sure the heaters were in place before the reception started and all my guests were comfortable....and they had a great time.

I'm running out of room to brag....bottom line, HIRE THEM. You will NOT regret it!!!!

I looked into wedding coordinators early into our engagement and our first meeting was with Kristen. We had such a great time talking about the wedding and so many other things it was like talking to a friend. Kristen was especially great to work with because not only does she help you in any way that she can but she'll also do what she can to get you want. Our photographer cancelled on us less than two weeks before our wedding and she sought out anyone who was available for the same price and hours and found dozens of people willing to help. We ended up with two amazing photographers thanks to her.

Hiring AATR was really the best investment for our wedding. The day of our wedding went great and Kristen was on top of everything. She was very organized and detailed. I would definitely suggest every bride hire a coordinator and I would only recommend An Affair to Remember. They are worth it!

As the mother of the bride, I did all of the planning for the wedding. I hired Lisa, from An Affair to Remember, to take over the month before the wedding, but she was a tremendous help all along the way by recommending vendors who far exceeded my expectations. During the planning process, Lisa and I corresponded via e-mail, and she responded promptly. As the wedding approached, we met in person and discussed the small details (many of which I would have never thought about). Lisa orchestrated the wedding rehearsal and with the help of her assistants, made sure the vedors, on the day of the affair, prepared the venue according to the contracts. The day was perfect ... I had to do nothing but enjoy the wedding. Much to the delight of my husband and I, at the close of the evening, all of the gifts, extra food/cake, were loaded into our car. I highly recommend this skilled wedding planner and would never hesitate recommending her to others.

An Affair to Remember was one of the best investments we made for our wedding. Kristen Johnson was amazing and always went above and beyond. Everyone noticed and commented as to how on top of everything she was throughout the entire process. My parents loved her and were so glad that we had her as our planner.

You can tell that she loves what she does and it shows in her work. All of her vendor recommendations were great and she helped answer ANY question I might have had and there were quite a few. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. I could not recommend her services enough. She was a dream to work with and a pleasure to get to know along the way.

Lisa Bowen with An Affair to Remember was amazing from start to finish! She was always accessible and full of sound advice. She recommended amazing vendors that led to a flawless wedding! I would put our wedding team up against anyone! If there were any issues at our wedding we didn't know about it! Lisa was everywhere at all times, but at the same time in the background. She even added in extras like a liquid nitrogen exit so we ran out in clouds! She is professional and solid. She always steered us in the right direction! I couldn't have asked for a better month-of coordinator than Rachel! She was very professional and offered lots of advise and answers to endless questions throughout the planning process beyond the month prior to my wedding. For those like me who have little experience planning a wedding, planning involves much more than one would think. Rachel with the AART team helped tremendously and made sure our wedding day was perfect. We didn't have to worry about how the day was going to flow - she and an assistant had it all under control. I chose An Affair to Remember for wedding coordinator services, and it was by far the best wedding purchase I made! I knew that I wanted a Day Of coordinator to ensure a smooth and stress-free wedding day, but the services provided by AATR exceeded all of my expectations.

While there was a minor bump when my coordinator left the company, AATR staff handled this professionally and ensured me that the transition would be smooth. It definitely was- I met with my original coordinator as well as a new one, and we reviewed the details of my wedding and I felt completely comfortable with the change.

From that point on, Rachel was the coordinator that handled my wedding and I don't know what I would have done without her! She answered all emails and calls quickly and professionally and happily assisted in so many things that were outside of her "day of" planner role. She truly went above and beyond and worked so hard in answering my questions and offering great advice, coordinating vendors and creating a wedding day schedule that including details I would have never even considered. Our entire wedding day actually ran on schedule, and I had a relaxed and laid back morning and afternoon, thanks to Rachel and AATR.

I could go on and on about AATR and their wonderful planners. I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride looking for organized, efficient, friendly wedding coordinators with great taste and great relationships with vendors in the area. AATR is a amazing value for outstanding service!

Lisa was such a big help for our wedding. She was a great guide with her professionalism and her trusted contact list. She was able to field through all my ideas and keep me focused.

On the day of, the whole AATR team was on deck to assist. They were all so nice and friendly and made the day go as smoothly as it could've gone. I would definitely recommend the "Day Of" coordination. It is worth the value since it gave me the piece of mind I needed to enjoy the day.

Rachel was referred to me by The Omni at Championsgate. I was unhappy with my previous coordinator and was anxious to find someone to work with me on my big day. Rachel was quick to respond to all emails and understanding of what we wanted for our wedding day. I do not live in Orlando so I hadn't met Rachel until our Rehearsal. She was calm and understanding and just what we needed on our wedding day! She was able to help me with anything we needed, kept things organized and even got down on her hands and knees (in the grass I might add) to help me bustle my dress after my ceremony. I really don't know how Kristen and Lisa do what they do. They're truly amazing in taking the stress of everybody! My mom and sister met with them and loved them! They're very down to earth people who love their jobs. They're experience and guidance made the whole process very smooth.

On my wedding day, it decided to downpour the entire day. That meant the ceremony had to be moved inside. They did such a great job recreating the ceremony and directing guests & bridal party to their new spots, that everyone found it hard to believe that it was plan B.

My mom and sister, who did the majority of the planning, we're able to relax and have fun all weekend, knowing that Kristen and Lisa were there. We trusted them to get it done and they definitely surpassed our expectations!

Kristen knew had to bustle my gown when mom and I forgot what the seamstress told us. Then during the night, my dress got stepped on and the bustle ripped, but Kristen was right there to pin it back up. They both guided us to the next step in the night, without being distracting or in the way.

I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! In fact, they are doing my sister's wedding this year:)!

My wedding would have been CRAZY with out AATR!!!! Kristen and Rachel were beyond sweet and helpful during the whole process. From our first meeting through the end of the wedding, I felt like I had two sweet, caring and ORGANIZED friends helping me through this whole process. Having never planned a wedding before, (as with most brides) I had little idea of all the tiny details that need to be taken care of, and they helped me with all of them.

The rehearsal day my Pastor was unable to show up, so Kristen stepped up and coordinated with entire rehearsal, while doubling as my Pastor. She walked the entire family through the rehearsal, and rehearsal day turned out to be one of my favorite parts of my whole wedding process. (A time which I'm sure is very stressful for most brides!)

Wedding day, I felt confident that my whole wedding was in Kristen and Rachel's hands, and I knew that they would work their behind the scenes magic to make everything come together nicely. Being that my wedding was a very DIY wedding, there were many loose ends that the girls were a huge help in putting together. They helped in every area I can imagine, from decorating, to serving cake, and buying more wine when we ran out :) They even made sure all of my bags made it into the getaway car to head off to my honeymoon without a worry. And they gave me a to-go box with some of our wedding cake and a sweet note! SO THOUGHTFUL! Overall my experience was wonderful with AATR. I can't imagine what my wedding would have been like without them. They were a huge blessing to me and my husband :)

Rachel, Shannon and Kristen of An Affair to Remember were our day of coordinators. With all of the costs of having a wedding, coordinators aren't always on the top of the wish-list, but it's a worth-while expense if you want your wedding day to be stress free. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of, and Kristen was super helpful leading up to it. I never even thought about most of the things that were going on behind the scenes. I knew that the girls would take care of it and they did a great job. I'm not kidding, I literally didn't think of a single thing the entire day. They made sure that all of the vendors were doing their thing and kept everything moving along. At the rehearsal Shannon was great about making sure that we didn't waste any time, without making us feel rushed. Our entire experience with AATR was great :)

My husband and I had a fairly short engagement and we planned our wedding in about 4 months. All of our decisions had to be made quickly, so we needed to ensure we were working with the right vendors. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER was definitely a great choice and Kristen Johnson helped make our special day perfect.

My husband and I chose a new reception venue in downtown Orlando called “THE MEZZ” for our wedding reception. The only hiccup with this new venue was that it was in its infant stage, and we would be one of the first wedding receptions held at the location. Not to mention, when we booked the site, the downstairs ABBEY theater which would host our cocktail hour was still under construction and not even open!! And at this point, the staff at the venue was very limited, somewhat difficult to get a hold of, and definitely new to the wedding-planning industry. I have to admit that I am a very controlling, organized, detail-oriented person, who likes to consider herself a Martha-Stewart wannabe (lawyer by day…wedding planner by night.) I had done a lot of wedding elements and details myself, but in dealing with the venue and “day-of” planning, I knew I needed some assistance to be able to accomplish the wedding of my dreams. So… as we were nearing our wedding day, in steps our fabulous wedding planners from AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER to save the day! And even with my overly-controlling personality, I was able to fully appreciate and accept the great assistance of this AMAZING planning team.

My husband and I had an initial meeting with Kristen where we discussed her services and the overall wedding-planning process. Her upbeat positive energy and no-nonsense approach made AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER a perfect choice. In the weeks before the wedding, Kristen and her team were able to gather information from us regarding the wedding ceremony, reception, locations, timing, vendors, etc., which helped them develop a formalized timeline and organization frame for the wedding day. Kristen was able to help coordinate a walk-through the space at the MEZZ and the accompanying downstairs ABBEY where we were doing cocktail hour. So…. during the 2 months that had elapsed (and as they developed and finalized the space), the MEZZ had hired its own event planner and had TOTALLY updated/rearranged/changed elements within the space, including table sizes, numbers, and chair choices (without telling us anything) I had already completed a general layout of the room, and at this point, basically had a meltdown and complete feeling of overwhelming dread as the wedding was about a week away and I felt completely disorganized because the venue was still in a state of flux. Kristen IMMEDIATELY took control and made me feel at ease – assuring me that the day and all of its elements would come together. A bride shouldn’t worry – she would handle things! She jumped in and coordinated with the MEZZ’s event planner and all of our various vendors, especially including our catering & linens team. Even in the few days prior to the wedding, Kristen was in contact with me and our vendors working out the little details. She even came up with an AWESOME last-minute idea to personalize the theater space with Bride & Groom Movie Posters that said “sold-out” show – all I had to do was email a quick photo and she took care of the rest.

Team member Rachel was able to join us at our Rehearsal at the church and help get us organized and ready for the next day. It was also extremely helpful that I was able to give her a lot of the items for the Reception so that she could deliver them. On the wedding day, things went smoothly at the Church. Upon arrival at the Reception Venue, I was really hoping that everything had come together. I had to have EXTREME FAITH in the AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER team and they sure did deliver!!! The cocktail hour space at the ABBEY looked amazing, and the upstairs space at the MEZZ exceeded my expectations. I know they played a large part in helping set up and stage all of the various areas of the venue including the dessert/candy bar and the welcome entrance with photos, and all the little details. I really don’t think that the spaces would have come together if it wasn’t for the hard work of Kristen and her team. It was really hard for me to turn over all the responsibility to someone else, but in the end, I didn’t have to worry and everything look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! They truly turned the chaos into organization and perfection! Although the MEZZ has brought on an event planner, my perspective is that it is essential for a bride & groom to have their own personal wedding planner and AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER is the right choice. If you are planning on using the MEZZ or the ABBEY, I would definitely utilize AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER’s services. I know it was essential for us to have someone on-site at the venue to ensure that everything was being coordinated and was completed and set-up according to our standards.

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER was able to effectively coordinate with our venue and all of our vendors to make the wedding ceremony and ESPECIALLY the reception look incredible, and overall make our day and evening run smoothly. It was a FABULOUS wedding and memorable event!!! The whole process was super flawless, which made for no-stress wedding planning. Overall, Kristen was super friendly and easy to work with. She also provides amazing customer-service and responsiveness. And you can tell she really loves what she does and cares about each bride and groom. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER is a great vendor and I highly recommend their services – they will not disappoint!

An Affair to Remember lives up to its name in every way! I wanted to be budget-conscious when it came to wedding planning, and An Affair to Remember really took that into account. Lisa provided day-of coordination services for my wedding, but she also helped me plan every detail of my wedding day. Throughout the planning process, she was always responsive and kept my budget in mind when suggesting vendors for me to contact. Whenever I had a question, Lisa had the answer, and she responded quickly. She even contacted some of the vendors she works with regularly on my behalf. Even though Lisa had a baby just days before my wedding, my wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to the amazing team behind her at An Affair to Remember. They already had a plan in place in the event that Lisa wouldn't be available. They stepped up to the plate on my wedding day, and everything was perfect! Kristen made sure my rehearsal ran smoothly, and Rachel and Ashley kept everything together on my wedding day. They guided every moment of my ceremony and reception, and my guests still talk about what a great time they had and what a beautiful wedding it was. Perhaps most impressive is that Lisa didn't just leave my day in the hands of her staff (although she could have, because they're awesome!). On my wedding day, she was there making sure that my reception venue looked perfect and that all the vendors arrived on time!! It really showed how much she cared about making sure my wedding day was what I always dreamed it would be. If you want a wedding with no worries, go with An Affair to Remember. I give An Affair to Remember the highest rating and my highest recommendation because the team has proven that they deserve it, and I couldn't be any happier with the service I received.

When I first meet Kristen I knew she was the one that I wanted to hire she was so helpful and her ideas were just perfect... This company is the one to work with if you are looking to hire wedding corrdinators or just someone to keep you grounded while dealing with wedding stress... Our wedding day had no flaws at all everything was on time and ran smoothly thanks to An Affair to Remember... Thanks Kristen and Lisa for making our day perfect!!

I would have been lost on my wedding day without An Affair to Remember. Rachel and Ashley took such great care of me and all of my guests!! They were always a step ahead of me in everything I was doing! Being in the wedding industry, I thought I had my wedding day planned and completely in control. The only problem is that you aren't available to delegate tasks because you are GETTING MARRIED!! AATR worked great with all of my vendors and they were so accomodating to them as well. It was so great to go back to our hotel room and have all our gifts in our room and then a sweet little note from Rachel and Ashley!

I can say that I would not have a wedding with out AATR! They are awesome, professional and always there to help with you questions, even if it is on the weekends or in the middle of the night!! You must use them! :)

An Affair to Remember were the first planners I ever even sat down and met with and it was instant connection! I knew they were the planners for us ! They immediately gave us idea on how to cut back on our budget, lists of incredible vendors, and just instantly put us at ease.

My planner was Kristen and I cannot say enough great things about her!! I am a very Type A personality type and a worry rat so I would constantly be e-mailing or texting her asking questions and she would always be there hand and foot with quick responses back to solve any solutions or problems i (thought) i had ! She really makes you feel so special and like all the focus is on YOU and your day! Kristen put me at ease and I really never had to worry about anything.

Come wedding day, I woke up with no jitters and calm as ever, because I knew everything was under control and the AATR team would take care of everything. How great is that?? To just let it go and truly enjoy your day! That is what I did. Never once the day of did I worry or second guess about something because we were in good hands =) The wedding ran perfectly and the reception looked INCREDIBLE! I had given Kristen photos and drawings of how the tables and set-up should look and the AATR team put it all together EXACTLY how I had asked. It looked amazing. I have to say that these girls, and especially Kristen, were the biggest life-savers and best money spent from the entire wedding! Without their help....who KNOWS what it all would have looked like. And who knows what crazy vendors I would have chosen. Because of them, I chose top notch vendors and each one helped make our day run perfectly!

If you want you day to be perfect and run smoothly and not worry about anything! THESE are the planners to hire! They will not disappoint =)

I met Kristen on a DJ showcase and felt an instant connection. Within 15 minutes of chatting with her, she had already given me advice on 5 different things and I was ready to hire them on the spot. The only problem was that there was no room in the budget for a day of coordinator. I thanked her for her time and resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have a mediocre semi-organized wedding. After many emails back and forth, I sat with her and Lisa to go over my budget and they miraculously found a way for me to have excellent vendors, afford a day of coordinator, and still keep my budget! Fastforward to my wedding day...Things happen at weddings that are beyond anyone's control. I think that a true professional manages to pull through the obstacles and make a bride and groom feel like they had the wedding of their dreams (despite any budget), and make the guests feel like they attended something special. That is exactly what we got from An Affair to Remember. My husband said that it was one of the best decisions we made because it allowed us to enjoy our wedding. The best thing I heard at the end of the night? I ran to my mom to see what needed to be done and she said, "Nothing. Your wedding planner was very good."

You will more than likely spend thousands of dollars on your wedding and after you may think about what you could have done yourself to save money. We did and all agreed that we could not have done what Lisa and her crew did throughout the ENTIRE process of our wedding. Her services were without a doubt the best money spent during our wedding. We had nothing to worry about other than enjoying each moment at the church and our reception. We hired Lisa for "the day of" and she went above and beyond throughout the planning process. She will put you at ease, your mom at ease :) and make it the fun and memorable time it should be. Her fee is the best money you will spend hands down!

I can't say enough how wonderful the team is at An Affair to Remember. After a long story which I will not go into, we had Lisa as our day-of coordinator, which was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding. Four days before the wedding, our videographer fell through and she spoke to a one of her go-to pros that they frequently partner with at weddings. She even negotiated a rate equal to what our old videographer was charging and snagged him at the last minute!! Thank goodness he was available! Even during my mini meltdown after the videographer incident, she calmed me down and talked sense into me to get me back down to earth. She was efficient, professional and definitely made things happen!!
The day of the wedding, Lisa, Kristen and Shannen ensured that our wedding went as smoothly as possible. I had a TON of DIY details and they definitely handled them all perfectly! My husband and I are so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you so much ladies! You made our day even more special!!!

We worked with Kristen for our October 2008 wedding. I wouldn't change a thing about our experience. Working with Kristen was like working with a friend I had known for years. She made us feel comfortable and listened to. Kristen made our vision become a reality. People still talk about our wedding and compliment all the amazing details thanks to Kristen's creativity. The special touches and surprises provided by Kristen and the crew on our wedding day made us feel even more special, not to mention that I was able to enjoy every moment because I had no worries knowing Kristen had everything under control. Kristen ensured my booked location did not screw me over as they were doing other brides due to high employee turnover and poor management. She ensured I received what I requested, she ensured I did not get bullied, and held the vendor accountable for all of their actions. I was seriously ready to lose my deposit and walk away 2 months before the wedding. Yes, my family agreed it was time to change locations.

Kristen and Lisa are an amazing team. Lisa was able to easily cover when Kristen was away for a family emergency. We needed last minute professional input on the size of the wedding and changes. She was able to provide plenty of input that assisted us in coming to our own conclusion.

At the wedding, they brought an intern to ensure they had enough hands due to the previous issues with the location. Thank goodness because I forgot the contents of the guest gifts. They sent her out to pick them up without hesitation and put them all inside my personal packaging.

I was apprehensive to spending money on this type of service. Knew I needed assistance getting what I wanted on my budget. My husband was so upset that I would spend money on this type of service when we didn't have much for the wedding to begin with. At the end of the wedding and hearing all that they had helped with, he leaned over and said make sure you give them a really good tip. They did a great job.

When I look back, it's the best form of insurance you can get for your wedding to ensure it comes out the way you want. I hope you appreciate their services as much as we did. The only way you couldn't would be to have an absolutely perfect wedding, hehe. Good luck with that plan.

I can't thank An Affair to Remember enough for their work in making our wedding day perfect.
During the planning, Kristen Johnson seemed just as excited as I was about our wedding. I didn't know how to go about finding the right florist, make-up, DJ and food. AATR gave great referrals and we were pleased with everyone's work.

For the rehearsal, Kristen walked everyone through their roles. She checked with us to make sure we liked everything and how the wedding party was laid out.

The morning of our wedding, I was stressed and nervous. I calmed down the moment Kristen and her team arrived. She took the lead, answering relatives questions and digging into her "everything" bag for pins, tape, scissors or whatever was needed.

After the ceremony, she made sure my new husband and I enjoyed a moment to ourselves to have a drink and take in the excitement. And, she kept everyone on track throughout the night. She even made sure the "to-go box" of food was ready for us to take when we left. She remained polite and fun the whole time.

My husband and I were so happy with our wedding. Hiring AATR was the best money we spent on the wedding. I will forever be a fan of them.

If you truly think that you do not need a wedding planner for your wedding day because you can do it all on your own or you have a "friend who knows how to do it", I highly recommend that you reconsider. Being in the industry myself (I actually sell weddings and have a history of wedding planning), I thought I was the last person who would need help with my own wedding. Hiring a wedding planner was one of those things that I said "if I end up having money left in the budget, then maybe..." In hindsight, I can't believe I even considered doing everything on my own. And my hotel had a wedding coordinator/banquet manager on duty, so I thought, he can do it all. But the one thing I forgot was...he was one person and he couldn't physically be in two places at once, and with a wedding, there are plenty of moments where you need to be two places at once! And An Affair to Remember gave me two coordinators, so that challenge was resolved immediately!

The last few weeks before your wedding are the most stressful, as you try to tie up loose ends at work to be out for a couple of weeks, you try to get all of the final details together for your wedding, and you try to get ready for your amazing honeymoon. Having a wedding planner assist me in those last couple weeks was completely wonderful. An Affair to Remember would offer to take things off of my plate or help me find things I needed to find last minute, which was so helpful, because I was finding that every time I scratched something off of my to-do list, I ended up having to add two to three more things. It was overwhelming...until An Affair to Remember stepped in.

AATR helped me find menu cards and table numbers and cones for my rose petal toss. Every time I had a question, they had an answer, and if there was research to be done, they would do it for me. Then the wedding weekend came and they were my support every step of the way. Since they had all of my details and all of my vendors names, I was able to sit back and relax and actually enjoy all of my family and friends in town without having to worry how the whole wedding was going to come together.

They ran my rehearsal so smoothly, and when the wedding day came, not only did they get my veil steamed (which I forgot about until day of) and ran out and picked up lunch for us, they told me every time my vendors arrived and how amazing everything looked. I didn't have the chance to worry!! And by nature, I am a worrier and a stressed out person, and this one weekend, I was not stressed one single bit. I even gave them some "props" I had bought for our placecard table and I was done making decisions, so I handed them over and told them to make it look pretty...they made it look gorgeous!!!!

And the best thing about An Affair to Remember, they always have their own special touches they leave at your wedding that create endless memories. When my husband and I got to our room when the night was done, they had taken all of our leftover rose petals and two meals from the dinner and make our room look so romantic.

So you might think you don't need a wedding planner, but I challenge you to reconsider. Having a wedding planner is better than wedding insurance -- when you are spending thousands of dollars, you want to make sure the weekend runs smoothly and everything comes together...but why do it yourself when you can spend literally a couple hundred dollars more to let someone else worry about it so you can enjoy your special moment...that is the way it is supposed to be!

An Affair to Remember were top notch in all categories! Rachel McCurdy and her team were outstanding as far as answering all and any questions we had, being flexible in the ability to meet on short notice, and providing excellent service and suggestions on our most difficult decsions. At the beginning Lisa was very attentive and very helpful. As the time drew closer to the wedding date, we were asked to repeat ourselves a number of times or resend documents. Perhaps that's just the way with weddings, but it seemed that proportionally more crunch was on us as the day grew closer. Eventually everything worked out well, and she was easy to work with, and she did go beyond the contract to handle some extra issues throughout our planning (particularly the dress). Ultimately, she did her job and made our out-of-town wedding come together nicely.

I planned my Orlando wedding while living in Texas. If I were local I probably wouldn't have used a planner for the whole planning process, but I would definitley recommend using them as a day of coordinator. An Affair to Remember was able to help me find vendors, recommend vendors, and coordinate meetings when I was able to come to Orlando prior to the wedding. They were also able to help me put together my ideas and create centerpieces for the reception.
Overall I really enjoyed working with An Affair to Remember. Lisa was my contact and we got along very well, which made working with her easy.
My only complaint were a couple of mis-communication issues during the rehearsal. However everything came out great in the end. Because of their coordination we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding, and the reception and ceremony went off without a hitch.

I was very disappointed by our wedding planner from an Affair to Remember. She was very helpful all the way until the weekend it actually counted. She was an hour and half late to our rehearsal, had a hand in my best man not having the wedding rings for our ceremony, and didn't have our send off planned appropriately. When I booked her as a planner I was putting all my trust in her to help us make our day stress free and relieve any "day of" planning off my hands. I don't feel like she fulfilled this job and although my wedding day was perfect she put a dark cloud of uneasy over heads. I do not recommend going with this company.
