I recently had the pleasure of working on my wedding with Amy Katz Events and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From our very first consultation to the final touches on the big day, she was professional, attentive and extremely organized.
What I really appreciated in her and I hate to be redundant is her professionalism and ability to understand her client and clients specific needs. I’m an extremely busy person she was always on top of us without being to overbearing to make sure everything was done on time.
She takes into consideration our ideas and budget understanding our vision and bringing it to light elevating our ideas, making our wedding seem less and more beautiful then we every imagined . Matter of fact the other day someone came over to me and told me that the wedding was so spectacular that even if someone came and gave them a million dollars to make this wedding better it would be impossible. My now husband and I felt the same way it was truly a fairytale.
Additionally Amy’s calming presence on day of the wedding ensured everything ran smoothly while allowing us to thoroughly enjoy our special day without any stress. She handled any unexpected issues with grace and efficiency giving us piece of mind.

My son proposed to his girlfriend at the end of May and they decided to get married in the beginning of October. How can anyone plan a wedding in just FOUR months, especially if you live on the west coast and the wedding is going to be in NYC? The ONLY way to get it done seamlessly is to hire Amy Katz Events!
From the moment we spoke with Amy, we knew we made the best decision. She took all the pressure off and was there to hold our hands every step of the way. She is so well connected with every vendor that we were able to get our first choice venue and everyone else we wanted, even though we had so little time. I can't say enough wonderful things about her ENTIRE team. Each and every one of them must have been trained personally by Amy to emulate herself: they are all personable, perfectionistic, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, creative, available at all hours, and just all around delightful to work with.
Amy and her team made our son and daughter-in-law the happiest couple ever by delivering their dream wedding in every imaginable way. We can't thank Amy and her team enough for the most magical wedding ever!! -

We had the best experience with Amy and her DREAM TEAM!
My daughter and her husband had the wedding of their dreams! It was a little unconventional, but Amy ran with it and pulled it off to perfection! We had a ceremony and dinner one night with a party the next - so there were lots of pieces to juggle; Amy and her team managed it all seamlessly. No detail was overlooked.
Every detail reflected Amy's incredible dedication and creativity, and it truly made both days unforgettable. The respect that Amy has in the industry was wildly apparent. From all of the amazing vendors who helped make Thursday night so special; to the stylist and the makeup and hair specialists who couldn't stop singing her praise, it is evident why people love to work with her!
We can't express how lucky we feel to have worked with Amy and I can't thank her enough for all of the time and energy that was poured into making Erica and Evan's vision a reality. Amy was such a support throughout the whole process; her team is AMAZING!! Truly a DREAM TEAM!! -

Hiring Amy was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Not only is Amy responsive and professional, every single member of her team is the best at what they do. When we approached Amy or Danika with a question, they were ten steps ahead of us at all times and came back with a detailed response that answered our questions - and then some! Every vendor Amy recommended was incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. Amy thinks of everything, reviews every single contract, and does everything she can to ensure that the bride, groom and their families do not have to worry about anything the week of and day of the wedding. We are so lucky that we had such an experienced team to defer to when we had to make tough decisions. We could not be happier that we chose Amy and her team to bring our vision for our wedding to life! -

Perfect experience!
It’s hard to explain, in a short review, the perfect day we experienced. Amy Katz and her staff created for us the experience of a lifetime. Yet she remained conscious of our budget and advised us every step of the way. She and her staff were always responsive and always friendly. We would do it all over again if we could. We don’t regret a single choice or decision. I highly recommend Amy Katz events without reservation. -

Her team made our vision into reality and the network of amazing vendors ensured every aspect of the wedding was perfect. The coordination on the day of was truly a sight to behold - the team took care of everything so professionally and made sure the day was completely stress free for us and our family. Our Wedding with Amy Katz
Hiring Amy Katz was the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. She and her entire team were incredible, and we can’t say enough good things about the job they did bringing our vision to life. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to.
Amy knows and has relationships with all of the best vendors in NYC; everyone she recommended to us was top notch. She and her entire team were extremely knowledgeable, attentive, available, patient, and just kind to work with. They constantly went above and beyond the call of duty. We also worked closely with Danika who was so helpful and responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. They made the process as stress free as possible, and they were with us on the day of our wedding starting from 10am until after midnight, working hard behind the scenes the entire day and night to ensure everything went smoothly. We will truly miss working with them, and we can’t thank them enough for making our day perfect. To anyone reading this - hire Amy and her team, you certainly won’t regret it. -

Amy Katz and her team helped me plan, organize and execute my dream, perfect wedding. It wasn't an easy task to plan a 300 person NYC wedding but the entire night was handled to perfection, from start to finish by her team. As a bride, the night of the wedding went off without a hitch and was organized, timely and drama free thanks to Amy's team. Amy and her staff are so sweet and SO good at her jobs. I've recommended Amy Katz to a lot of Bride friends and my own Sister Bride is of course using her as well! So much love for Amy and her team! -

Wedding planner for my October wedding!
There are seriously no words to explain how amazing Amy and her team were to work with - they are just simply the best. Not only were they there for me (at all hours of the day & night!) to help guide me throughout the entire wedding planning process, recommending the best vendors and actively negotiating on my behalf, the day of the wedding they truly outdid themselves! Every detail was meticulously planned and taken care of and I felt completely at ease the entire day fully trusting that Amy and her team had everything under control. And did they ever! It was the best day of our lives and my husband and I and our families cannot thank Amy enough. She has become a wonderful lifelong friend to us throughout this process and I would not recommend planning a wedding without her! -

Amy was my wedding fairy godmother!
Amy was fantastic! She took the stress out of our wedding and was on top of everything! I can’t imagine doing my wedding day with anyone else. She was incredible and always available when I needed her. She didn’t miss a call or an email and had a solution for every problem. I couldn’t envision our wedding coming out half as nice without her suggestions and ideas. I would wholeheartedly recommend Amy and her team to anyone I know! -

Wedding Planner Goes Above and Beyond
Amy Katz and her team are amazing!!! They are very professional and respond very quickly to emails/texts. They go above and beyond. They had us all set for our wedding 2 weeks before the date! We just chilled the 2 weeks before our wedding day. It was an amazing feeling. Amy Katz is an expert in what she does! She will think of everything that needs to be done for a wedding and more. She will find you vendors that fit in your budget and that match your wedding vision. She and her team set up meetings for you with the vendors. It’s great having Amy there during the meetings since she knows what questions to ask and what we need. Amy creates a wedding day timeline, which plans every minute of the day out. It’s amazing! We were so confident in her and her team and the planning process that when the wedding day came, we just relaxed, went with the flow and enjoyed our wedding. Everything turned out perfectly! We highly recommend Amy Katz for a wedding planner! -

As someone that considers herself very organized and efficient I did not think I needed a planner. Boy was I wrong! There was no detail that Amy overlooked, no problem she could not solve, all with extraordinary professionalism and speed. She recommended things I would never have thought of and each proved quite necessary. Her contacts in the industry are the best! My daughter's wedding exceeded all my expectations by an exponential margin. As a fellow professional in an unrelated industry I am known for demanding the very best, in Amy I found much more than that. Amy is not only a very talented planner but a thoughtful and considerate person. I would recommend her highly to the most discerning individuals. Within the past year, I attended so many weddings but on June 23rd I was a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding. This wedding left an everlasting impression on me . I can not stop thinking about flawless and extravagant this wedding was planned. Everything was done by Amy Katz with the most magical hands. Compared to all the other beautiful weddings I have been to, this event was outstanding and truly the wedding of the year. I hope one day I will get married and I know Amy Katz will be the first person I will contact when I begin to plan my wedding. I met with Amy personally and she is so down to earth, special, professional, kind, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated. She was there every moment on the day of the wedding from 8 am to 1:30 am. She worked so hard to make sure every single detail was perfectly executed and without her and her team I can not imagine how my daughter's dream wedding would have played out. Amy planned my September 2023 wedding. She kept us on track with booking the best vendors & always brought a positive attitude any time we spoke! Amy and her team were really lifesavers when it came to the month before the wedding. I was super emotional and stressed & Amy & Amanda helped me through so many times in the wedding process.
