You couldn't ask for a better photographer :)
We would give Amy 1,000 stars if we could!! Amy is the absolute best! We were so fortunate to have her take both our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't be happier. She has such a wonderful, calming presence and made us feel so at ease, helped us bring out our silly sides, and made us look amazing! Her photos are so so beautiful and capture our story and the happiness of our special day. She is so kind, thoughtful, and talented. We cannot recommend her enough!! -

Amy was so wonderful - she is amazingly organized, thoughtful, has an awesome attention to detail. She was there with us throughout the entire process - from the very beginning checking in all the way through. Day of she was both organized and laid back. She was always there, never in the way, and always supportive of us. There were a few curveballs day of and she rolled with them easily. I cannot recommend Amy enough - she is completely worth it! You will not regret hiring Amy for your event! -

Working with Amy was the best decision we made for our wedding. We are two people who don't know how take good photos together, but Amy somehow made us look great. She was extremely communicative and thoughtful throughout the whole planning process. She was very open to our wishes for our pictures, but we felt very confident letting her guide us to the best options. 10/10, would recommend. -

Amy photographed a couples session for us, and she absolutely blew us away with how kind, sweet, and funny she is. Both of us usually feel very awkward when being photographed, but our whole session felt so natural and our photos we got back reflect that. We left our session feeling like friends. I absolutely recommend bringing your fur baby for your session because Amy will fuss over them just like they are her own. Our dog, Max, was as smitten with her as we were. The turn around time was super quick compared to other photographers we have used, and we had so many favorites to choose from. We love how authentic all the images feel. Everything looks so natural as opposed to forced smiles and poses. The colors are vibrant with true to life skin tones. We 10 of 10 recommend hiring Amy for your photo needs. She deserves all the stars! -

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Amy from consult to finished product delivery. Amy is genuinely invested in capturing the most beautiful and authentic images that truly reflect the nature of any occasion, and it shows in the quality of her work. From my bridal portraits to the wedding and reception, to a family photo session years later, the work Amy did for us is some I will cherish forEVER. I look forward to continuing to hire her to document our family for years to come and cannot imagine going to anyone else. As someone who feels so awkward in front of the camera, she has made all experiences fun and relaxed, resulting in my absolute favorite photos ever captured of me, my husband, and our family. -

Loved working with Amy!
As a bride who planned to get married in 2020, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Amy was flexible and accommodating when we rescheduled our wedding and even had a backup plan for the backup plan.
Amy was excellent at creating an open line of communication, offering suggestions, and incorporating your ideas. She got every shot! We love the memories of our day. -

One of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process was to hire Amy as our photographer. I had been a fan of Amy's for years before I even got engaged because I loved her style of photography and the way she captured people. Amy took the time to get to know me and my fiancé, which I really appreciated and we both loved her genuine and friendly personality. Amy is also incredibly funny and witty and made both of us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Amy was so supportive throughout our wedding planning process and captured our wedding day so perfectly. Amy is a gem of a person and a talented photographer. I highly recommend her! -

First off, Amy is an amazing human AND an incredible photographer. Posing for photos can often feel so strange and unnatural, but Amy made us feel so comfortable throughout our engagement photoshoot. Amy is so thoughtful with her photography and enjoys catching the moments as opposed to forcing perfectly posed photos. It really felt special and intimate and we ended up having so many laughs throughout it, too! It was a really fun time and made for a great memory for when we look back at the beautifully natural photos that Amy captured. On our actual wedding day, we felt like we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy with Amy as our photographer. We knew she was there, but yet she blended into the moment instead of pausing the moment to catch a photo. She was also great at organizing when needed, especially with larger groups of people! And she was really great and patient with the kiddos! Amy sent us several previews within 24 hours of our wedding day and WOW, they were unbelievable. It was so lovely to get these back so close to the event when emotions were still running so high. All of our friends and family were overjoyed with her work.
Amy, thank you for capturing our day in a way that fully represents our personality and the community around us. You are so talented and it was so lovely to work with you. We love you!

It's really hard for us to sit down and write this review because we honestly don't know where to begin. Amy is just the kindest, most thoughtful, extraordinarily talented and beautiful human. As a wedding photographer myself, it was really paramount that my husband and I have a photographer that we knew we could trust with all our hearts for our wedding, and Amy was undoubtedly that person. I know that our wedding photos are timelessly beautiful, extraordinarily true to us, and just so, so beautiful. I'm eternally amazed at how Amy managed to capture it all, no matter what it was. I heard that she had been described as a ninja, and I sort of chuckled at that until I experienced the way that she works. She. Is. A. Ninja. She captures all of the little quiet moments alongside the loud ones, and it's all crafted absolutely brilliantly. We are forever grateful for Amy. We hold our wedding images and the memories she was with us to create so near and dear to our hearts. -

She was super responsive and made my dream (pinterest boards!!) come true! I haven't even received all my photos yet and I just can't stop looking at the previews I received because they are so perfect! I will highly recommend Amy Ellis and if I ever need a photographer again, she will be top on my list!
