Great service, super good quality food

I really appreciate the commitment Mafe and her team showed since day one, they worked super hard so everything was perfect in our event. My family, friends, and I loved the food and the service. I highly recommend them and will use again.

OHHHH Americaters!!! I just can't say enough good things about Victor and his team. He was recommended by my wedding planner, Michelle Candelaria at Halo Events. Choosing them as my caterer was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process. He was so professional yet totally sweet and down to earth with a great attitude. He prepared a tasting dinner for us so we could sample some dishes before we made a final decision (and believe me it was had to choose as every dish was fantastic) . His recommendations were spot on and all of the food from the hors d'oeuvres, sides dishes, to the star entree were delicious. All of the guests have told me they have never had better food at any wedding they've been to!! His staff was equally as good as they provided excellent service and made sure all of my guests were happy. I would definitely recommend Victor and his team at Americaters.

Americaters made everything so easy! They let us make our own menu and gave suggestions as well. They handled everything from the set up to picking up the ice. What sold me on them was that you can rent the tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc from them too! They made it so easy and the food was wonderful.

Americaters is the best wedding catering company! Our wedding day was beautiful. Victor (the owner of Americaters) was wonderful and readily available to answer any questions and provide great recommendations. He was very professional and made sure that his team worked very hard to exceed our expectations during our wedding. We had tables, chairs, silverware, linens along with the delicious food. His team also had excellent hospitality experience to provide us with great service during our dinner and throughout the day with the bar. All of our guests were happy with their food and alcoholic drinks! He also ensured prompt set-up and clean-up after the wedding was done. Yes, I was a happy bride that day! I would definitely recommend Americaters!

Americaters is the best caters I have worked with to date and I have worked with many. They are professional, attention to detail. The food was outstanding. The guests keep talking about Chef Victor's Caesar salad and Seafood Paella. He has a unique touch . They are perfectionists and exceeded any expectations. They are one of a kind team. I was the Mother of a Quinceanera and my daughter was blown away. Thank you Americaters for making this night she will never forget. We will work together again for my next daughter's Quinceanera, their weddings and any event I plan. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all the best!

Stop your searching right now and book Americaters for your wedding or event! Victor and his daughter Alex (who I also hired to be my day of planner) were so incredible to work with and my guests still rave about the food to this day! After spending hours searching for a quality caterer in Miami that had prices I could actually afford, I came across Americaters and I am SO glad I did! Their food is spectacular - fresh, savory and well made - and the prices were such an incredible value. I also used them for my table, chair, linen and dinnerware rentals for the reception and my place setting were flawless. They worked with me on my budget and created a menu my husband and I loved. Their staff was wonderful and the service top notch. I would HIGHLY recommend booking this company for weddings or any other events you might be having!!

Going into our wedding, I thought that catering was going to be the biggest issue for us. We come from two diverse backgrounds and we wanted our food to match.

Victor is one of the most caring and professional vendors that I have ever dealt with. he drove hours just to come to our home to meet with us and he was receptive to any and all ideas that we threw out at him. And he also worked within our budget. He sends holiday text messages, and insists that his phone is there for you 24/7. This was the outstanding service that we received from him. I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to food and linens and chairs.

The food itself was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend the skirt steak and his unique salad and dressing was a hit. Don't hire anyone else, go with Americaters.

Victor and Frank have been part of our planning for 2 years. These guys know how to make your wedding become more than a fairytale! I would have never thought we would have our special day like how we truly envisioned it to the T.

Americaters made my life and wedding planning so easy! They provided everything from food to furniture. I didn't need to look elsewhere for other services and the price was amazing. Victor is wonderful and remains in contact especially during the last few weeks before the wedding. Most of all EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD. It was truly amazing. They have the great gift of amazing cooking and I really couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. I don't live in Miami right now but I can guarantee that I will be using this company from future catering when I do move back.

Where do I even begin? Americaters is the best of the best! Victor and his team are SO incredibly sweet and professional! They strive for perfection and make every effort to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. My husband and I had so much rain on our wedding day at an OUTDOOR venue, but despite the weather conditions, Victor and his team made it work! They kept the food warm and the booze flowing! Their staff were DRENCHED from the rain, but still carried on with such a sweet disposition and determination to ensure everyone was having a good time. I cannot even express with words our love and gratitude for this company. Thank you so much for making our day SO wonderful and beautiful! We wouldn't change a thing! Not even the rain ;)

Our Vizcaya wedding was a fairytale come true thanks to Victor and the Americaterer team. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with the quality of the food (we had filet mignon and Salmon as our main entrees). I contacted over a dozen caterers in South Florida, and Americaterer was by far the best priced and most flexible! Please do yourself a favor and book this catering company for your wedding- they will not disappoint. It is so refreshing to meet a business person in Miami that is not trying to overcharge you and genuinely seems to care about quality and service. Thank you Victor and the Americaterer Team!

After canceling on our original caterer, my (then) fiancé and I were terrified that we would not have a caterer for our wedding day. We found Victor from Americaters only a few months from the wedding and I have to say that he exceeded every single one of our expectations!
Working with Americaters was an absolute pleasure, we had several meetings and several tastings, all during late hours of the week due to our work schedules. Victor was very flexible and was able to provide us with the perfect menu for both our guest count and our taste.
THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! Our guests loved how original and delicious the menu was, I heard that some people even asked for seconds!
The day-of service was impeccable as well! Victor and his team really worked together to make our event unforgettable!

Victor, thank you so much for being part of our special day! We could not have asked for a better caterer!

Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding everything we had planned it would be. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was! Our paella with lobster was incredible!

Victor really let my family, husband, and I incorporate our Spanish heritage wherever we could. His flexibility with the things that we wanted to add to the event was simply outstanding. For example, we had a gentleman slicing Jamon Serrano at our cocktail hour and he was generous enough to set up the fruits he had provided as well as the crackers and picos my dad had brought.

The service provided by the waiters was amazing, but the bar staff was on another level! The bar staff made sure to keep the lines short, and people happy.

Thank you so much again! So thankful for everything you did to help our big day run smoothly!

I cant say enough good things about this catering company! Victor and his wife are the sweetest people and were very accommodating to our needs and wants. The food was delicious! we had a 3 station buffet to give our guest different options and it turned out amazing!! everything was as we decided and their staff was super courteous polite and professional. when it came to picking everything up they were fast and responsible the director of our venue (curtis mansion) was very pleased with them.

Apart from having AMAZING service at our wedding, everyone was raving about how good the food was!!!! The service, food, attention to detail, professionalism, and pricing was perfect !! Weddings can be very stressful and they were always helpful, patient, and flexible !

Victor was unbelievable. From his service, flexibility, and kindness, it was the easiest part of our wedding. He took the time to meet with us multiple times at very flexible times and was always helpful and insightful. He never tried to push his ideas, and in fact accommodated our needs above and beyond what we could have imagined. His paella was incredible. It was flavorful, full of seafood, and perfect. His waiters were very professional and very kind to my guests. Without hesitation, I would recommend him and his services for any wedding or any event.

The most honest caterer I have ever come across. They really did care about making it satisfying to the taste buds & pocket! Americaters is highly recommended by my husband & myself & we definitely will use them again when in need of a caterer!!!

My wedding planner, Kasey D, recommended Americaters and they did not disappoint. What an incredible caterer to work with! Victor and his entire staff exceeded our expectations. Our families and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the tasting before the wedding and the food at the actual wedding was of equal (or better!) quality. We did a buffet and all our guests LOVED the food. We also choose to do wine service at dinner and the waiters did a great job. Victor checked up on me periodically throughout the night and he was very attentive. The only thing I would say can be improved is that he is very informal with his contracts. It was handwritten but this did not bother me at all or cause us any problems. I highly recommend Americaters!

I cannot say enough great things about Americaters. I was so impressed by their services, professionalism and fair pricing. The menu was completely designed to our liking and the food tasted amazing! I opted for a buffet which turned out to be great so that the guests could choose from several entrees.

Victor and his team do so much more than simply provide the food. They include the tables, linens, chairs and flatware, etc.! This is very important. Victor was accommodating to my requests for certain color linens and chairs--all included in the price. It was a fantastic value and the quality was super high.

The set-up was exactly as we had planned and the room looked beautiful!

The coordinator at the venue also commented on how much she liked working with Americaters. They are so professional, reliable, and prompt.

Victor has many years of experience so he is very familiar with the local venues and he also is able to make recommendations. Also, you can bring your own alcohol if you will serve it, which is a huge money-saver!

Victor and his team are amazing! !!!!! They work very hard to make sure everything I asked for was done and done correctly. Victor responded to all of my questions promptly and courteously. The food was delicious! !!!!! The skirt steak was divine!!!

Victor is very professional and he wants you and your guests to be happy!!! I was very impressed with Americaters and would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride and groom! The value and quality of the service, product, and of the company far surpassed even my expectations!!!!!! And I am one picky girl!!!!!

Victor & his staff are hard working and for the money he is a great deal. The décor was beautiful and the food was good. There were a few things that did not go as planned but I think it was more of a language barrier. Overall he is a great caterer and also catered my nephews wedding which is where we found him.

Americaters recently provided dinner for my daughter's July 2013 wedding at the Culter Cay Club house, the staff was professional and attentive to all the needs of the wedding guest, and the food was absolutely amazing.

We hired Americaters for our wedding last month and were very impressed with their level of service as well as their attentiveness to detail. Both the chicken and the steak were a hit! I personally like the cocktail hour appetizers - especially the ceviche. Victor and his team was able to blend both of our cultures together and they put together an amazing presentation.

Victor has been the best person to work with.Very professional and easy to work with.

I met with a lot of caterers and I am so happy I went with Americaters. I chose them for a few reasons. First of all, Nora, the woman in charge of the admin, was wonderful to work with and really seemed like she cared about ME and MY wedding. She wasn't trying to upsell me or get me to choose things that were out of my budget or were not what I had in mind for my wedding. (As a matter of fact, I liked her so much I hired her as my coordinator and she did an even more amazing job! See my review on Absolutely Fabulous Weddings and Events by Nora.). Second, Americaters was ultimately the least expensive of all the caterers I met with. Finally, they were really flexible in letting me completely customize my menu. I was even able to bring in some of my own hors d'eouvres so I could have some authentic Colombian food, and I brought in my own alcohol and was not charged any corkage fees. Victor (the chef) even let me completely change my entree 2 weeks before the wedding simply because I changed my mind.

Because I live out of town, I was not able to actually try the food before I booked, but I was so happy that the FOOD WAS AMAZING. We had seafood paella, Colombian chorizo skewers, veggies, a pasta station, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The food was so good, I can't believe I paid what I paid for it. I had 5 star food and 5 star service at my wedding, but I did not pay 5 star prices. All my guests absolutely loved the food and most liked it so much they went up to the buffet for second and third helpings. The service was equally impeccable. The presentation was beautiful and classy, and the staff was so professional and so welcoming to my guests, yet at the same time they remained out of the way so we could all enjoy the night.

Americaters provided my food, table, linens, chairs, dishes, flatware, bar, etc. and everything was very high quality. I recommend Americaters because they are an honest catering vendor that will do what YOU want on your wedding day, but more importantly, they simply make GREAT FOOD and offer GREAT SERVICE for a GREAT PRICE. Don't waste your time with anyone else!!

This was the best food I have ever had at a wedding. Normally everyone tries to cut corners and save money by serving a chicken breast and mashed potatoes...not with Americaters! The prices are unbeatable, the variety is never-ending, and the qualtiy is top of the line. They offer much more than food and don't charge ridiculous upgrade fees. I was listening to people all night talking about the food and some even going back for seconds. The staff stayed out of the "limelight" and you didn't even know they were there. Very professional and willing to help whenever, one of them even held the train of my dress until I walked down the aisle!

Chef Victor and Americaters staff are incredible!!! The staff assisted us throughout the process from start to finish. The food was delicious, the table set were set to perfection and the whole team was extremely professional and ran everything smooth and beautifully. I HIGHLY recommend Americaters for the following reasons: 1. they are reliable, responsible, and trustworthy 2. they're prices are very fair and definitely worth the value of the food and services rendered 3. the food was delicious and came out at the perfect temperature 4. the bartenders and servers had great attitudes 5. the flowers were PERFECT (even after my sister changed the arrangements a few days before the wedding) 6. they were out of their way to make the day PERFECT 7. the venue looked AMAZING.
Victor and Mariela were very helpful. The price included chairs, linens, chargers, silverware, plates, cups, setup and food! It was amazing for what you pay.

Delicious Food, Fantastic service!!!
Victor & team from Americaters helped to make our wedding reception one that people are still raving about!!! Victor, the owner, was great about helping us to customize our station menu to our liking. We were so happy with all the food !!! Another HUGE plus is that the price per person includes linens and other rentals, like tables, serveware, plates, flatware, etc. They set everything up and tore it all down afterwards. I have already recommended them to a friend that is getting married in a year or so and I would gladly recommend them to anyone else, THANK YOU AMERICATERS!!!

My new bride and myself had our wedding reception at a private mansion earlier this year (2010). We spent a large part of our budget on the venue and flowers. We did not really know any body in the catering business and found Americaters through the internet. We met Victor and Nora. Not only were both people helpful and professional but extremely knowledgeable. We dealt mostly with Nora. She was very intuiative about the wedding business and Victor helped fit Americaters service into our very tight budget. After our wedding we (my wife and myself) began watching some wedding shows on T.V. We never even imagined how some people can become during the wedding preparation(s). How nasty they can be even if it's something they did. Even with this in mind we look back and realize how well our wedding and wedding reception went, how the food couldn't have been any better and how fortunate it was that we found Nora, Victor and of course Americaters. Thanks again for a beautiful event!

I am writing to correct the bogus review that implies Americaters is anything but a fantastic, family-owned company. Getting married is complicated, and having the right caterer that is also affordable is KEY, ask anyone. That is precisely what Americaters was for me and my wife. We got married on South Beach (right on the sand) and had our reception at the Art Deco Welcome Center. Let me tell you, from start to finish, Alexandra, her father Victor and the rest of the staff took care of everything. From the ceremony setup on the beach (chairs, altar, etc) to an incredible setup inside the Welcome Center (the first such event at the remodeled facility). The food was superb (appetizers and buffet), the staff professional and friendly, not to mention personal service that was went beyond expectations. One guy came running to my hotel room with two different boutonnieres so I could choose which one I liked best. In the days leading up to the wedding we phoned, emailed, texted.. Alex even went with us to secure our license for the beach ceremony.. the list goes on and on. These people are wonderful, and both me and my wife highly recommend Americaters. Americaters was AMAZING! I have attended many weddings and I must say, the staff was so pleasant to work with and the food was incredible!! I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and am now getting married myself. I will definitely be using Americaters as my vendor.

Victor is absolutely amazing! Not only is his food delicious but the care that he took of us was incredible. He personally brought us a small plate of food from cocktail hour and made sure we had a bite to eat. He also took our plates from me as I got to the buffet and told me to go sit and he filled out plates an brought them over. His staff was fantastic with our guests. No one waited long for anything and everyone complimented us on the food. Everything he provided was absolutely perfect and we would absolutely hire Americaters again. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding in February catered by Americaters and the food was great!! They had many different choices in their menu and all very well priced. Everyone at the wedding raved about how delicious the food was. Nora our wedding coordinator was amazing! She went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect, very attentive to all details and always followed through with anything and everything thrown her way. I was a very nervous bride and she put my mind at ease. Nora made sure we ate and tried all our food which as you all may know couples don't really get to even eat at their wedding. We were so happy with the food, decor and staff we will definitely use them for any of our upcoming events.

Victor was very helpful. The price per person was extremely reasonable. The price included chairs, linens, chargers, silverware, plates, cups, setup and food! It was amazing for what you pay. The only con is the bar was not discussed in detail. We were required to buy liquor and he was required to buy all the soft drinks and mixers. The day of the wedding my sister in-law had to go to the store and get mixers and other things he needed to make drinks. To top it all off the bartender did not want to make drinks when we asked him even after we got the stuff to make them, and he was very unhappy to be there. Other than the bar and bartender situation AmeriCaters is great and the rest of the staff was amazing!! I do recommend AmeriCaters to people but just make sure you understand before hand what you are providing and what he is providing for the bar.

Americaters doesn't have the greatest food, but it's decent for what it costs. The owners were very flexible when I needed to change the menu. The woman who coordinated the deal was another story. She was flaky and needed constant reminders, so make sure you keep records of everything you choose.

I must say that Victor that caterer was great but Nora who makes the deals is a quit the contrary! She owes me a refund and a whole year after the wedding, she is avoiding my calls and emails. For a little money on the side, she offered to be a wedding coordinator and canceled on me the day before the wedding! Food great! Nora DON'T TRUST HER!
