Amanda helped us throw the wedding of our dreams after several times of rescheduling throughout Covid! Amanda helped us get organized months before our wedding day, and offered many services that went beyond the day of. Not only did she help us brainstorm unique ways of doing things, she also helped us build a timeline and organize our signs around the venue. Both my husband and I had little concept of the work it took to throw a wedding, and while he was skeptical of paying for a day of coordinator at fitst, he was quickly charmed by Amanda’s easy going personality and organization! I did not want a traditional wedding and Amanda definitely got the vibe we were going for! We would highly recommend Amanda’s services to any couple! Her outgoing and easy going personality made he great to work with. -

I seriously can't recommend Amanda and her team enough for your wedding needs! We had an engagement shorter than a year, and from the beginning they helped us stay organized and on schedule. They made the planning process not stressful at all. My vision for the day was perfectly executed. The table settings were beautiful, the flow between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner was seamless, and the timeline felt very natural. Alex was my day of coordinator and she was perfect. The team was so organized and prepared and I was able enjoy my morning knowing that they had it handled! Everything went according to plan all day! -

Amanda and her team are hands down one of the best decisions we made in all of our wedding planning. She goes above and beyond to make your dreams come true, make sure your needs met, and put you at ease every step of the way. She was more than a wedding planner, she was our best friend, our advocate, and crisis manager when certain family members were acting out of turn. We had big dreams for our wedding day and she made every single one of the come true. When I first walked into our gorgeous venue all set up, I screamed and began hysterically crying. As a creative person myself, it was one of the greatest moments of my life seeing our vision come to fruition and it was all at the hands of Amanda. She truly was our fairy god mother and I highly recommend making her the captain of your wedding planning process. You certainly won't regret it and even more you will be thanking her for a lifetime!!! -

Amanda is absolutely amazing! She made my wedding dreams come true and went above and beyond in every detail. Her team works their butts off to ensure everything is seamless, stress-free, and truly perfect—they even made my Diet Coke tower dream a reality! Because of Amanda, I was able to let go and not worry about a thing, so I could focus on what truly mattered on my special day. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough! -

If you’re reading this, you probably don’t know how insanely picky and easily overwhelmed I am. Please just take my word for it before you continue.
Put simply, I would have paid triple for Amanda’s help. No matter what your budget may be—she’s worth every penny and more. If I had to, I would have sold family heirlooms to keep Amanda. I would have sold a kidney to keep Amanda. I would have sold my husband to keep Amanda.
She was referred to me by our florist, who said “you won’t find anyone who will work harder for you.” Honestly, that sentence is a strong contender for Understatement of the Year. She worked harder than any person I’ve ever MET in my 31 years of life.
If there are any obstacles or problems leading up to your wedding day, you’ll never know about them. She will have anticipated and handled them well in advance.
Amanda just gets it. It’s like she’s in your head. And I truly think she would fight a bear if it meant protecting the integrity of your big day. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you could run blindfolded into traffic and not suffer so much as a scratch—because she’s got your back through thick and thin.
She’s also got the best connections, the best attitude, the best organization, the best team, the best recommendations… you get where I’m going with this. She is professional, experienced, friendly, assertive, talented, intelligent and will move heaven and earth to give you the best possible wedding you can reasonably imagine. She will set your expectations and exceed them anyway.
And she’ll travel to you. I live in Florida, but we got married in Washington. Amanda not only travels to wherever the hell you need her, she planned almost our entire wedding from Oregon. I basically got to be a passenger princess from the other side of the country.
She found a vendor for every niche little thing I could come up with… A painter to do our signs, which she had us ship to her home address so we didn’t have to travel with them. A bakery with a Swedish cake I loved as a kid. An officiant who literally made every single guest cry at her beautiful speech. Couches. She had custom COUCHES delivered to our venue so people could lounge for cocktail hour. I didn’t have to lift a finger.
People will not shut up about how perfect our wedding was. Listen, just hire her. I know this review is crazy, but you genuinely won’t regret it. Trust me—as an Italian woman and lifelong East-coast native, my standards are high and I am far from easygoing. I’m capable of Grinch-level hater behavior. Amanda just left me no choice but to give her 5 stars. She was THAT good. -

We thought we could handle it. We thought we had it all figured out. HA! We were so wrong! Enter Amanda. With her experience, resources and absolute kindness - she handled everything. I cannot recommend her and her team enough. They took our vision and turned it into a beautiful and stress-free wedding. We were able to enjoy our day to the fullest by focusing on each other, our family and our friends rather than food, decorations, schedule etc etc etc. If you are wavering on having a coordinator - DO IT. And we hope you choose Amanda Jean Events! -

If you are looking for a wedding planner in the Gorge then you should hire Amanda! Working with her was nothing short of an absolute pleasure. She provided so much support and assistance throughout our entire wedding planning and made everything so easy. I was so impressed with the level of support we received leading up to the wedding, but on our actual wedding day, I was blown away! Amanda and her team stopped at nothing to ensure our day was perfect. This squad will go above and beyond for you every chance they get. Amanda is a true professional and cares greatly for her couples. I could honestly go on and on, but moral of the story, if you are having a wedding in the gorge then do yourself a favor and hire Amanda!!! -

Working with Amanda for over a year to plan our wedding was incredible! Amanda quickly picked up on the things my partner and I liked, helped us find the best vendors for our wedding, keep our organized and accountable in the decision making process, and answered all of our questions truthfully while keeping our best interests at heart.
On the day of the wedding, my partner and I felt confident and at ease knowing that we were in good hands with Amanda and her team, and were able to just truly enjoy our special day. Amanda was kind, patient, thoughtful, responsive, organized and so much more and we cannot recommend them enough for all of your wedding needs! -

Above and Beyond!
I hired Amanda to be my wedding planner for my September 2023 wedding at Skamania Lodge. When my husband-to-be and I started planning for this out of state destination wedding, I knew I needed someone who could help me on the day of the wedding, but I had no idea how badly I needed help for so much more than just day-of coordination. Amanda was the key component of making our wedding day exactly what we wanted. We would meet about monthly, and more frequently as the day got closer. Our calls were so fun, talking about ideas and getting to know each other. Any idea I had, she supported it and would help to execute. She coordinated vendors, timelines, chased down responses when I couldn't.
I ended up renting most of my décor from Amanda which was a saving grace. I felt environmentally responsible using these items knowing they wouldn't go to waste, and she took care of all set up and take down. She even purchased additional items to add to her inventory so I could have the look I wanted.
The day before the wedding, at the rehearsal, she went above and beyond: arriving earlier, bringing supplies, and offering to help set up the rehearsal even though that's not what she was hired for. She even requested that the venue change table linens when she saw a few of them were dirty!
On the wedding day, I swear she was 8 places at once. Tracking down vendors, getting all reception and ceremony sites set up, getting the wedding party in line, and having a drink and a plate ready for me when I walked into the reception.
I would love to find an excuse to work with Amanda again. She supports your ideas, she will stand up for you and always has your best interests in mind, she's creative and can execute your vision, and most of all - it feels like having another friend at your wedding!

Amanda and her sister are a big part of why we had a successful wedding--we were lost until we found them. She helped us determine exactly we needed for our wedding and then managed all communications amongst vendors. She met with us multiple times to design the reception, including several meetings to discuss thematic, artistic, stylistic, and logistic elements related to the wedding day. She designed and choreographed our ceremony, while making room for every element and nuance we wanted to include. Amanda also worked on creating and managing many of the physical decorations we used in the ceremony and reception. The day of the wedding was amazing, and wouldn't have gone nearly as smooth if it weren't for Amanda keeping everyone moving, and in the right place at the right time. Plus, Amanda is so warm, cheerful, and full of energy (such good energy); and she gets things done! Ultimately, Amanda not only created an amazing experience for us, she became a part of that amazing experience by bringing her own celebratory energy to the party. 💜🤘 -

Finding a wedding planner is not an easy task—there are so many variables when you’re trying to find that one special person to help you plan & execute the most expensive party you’ll ever plan. You need someone who’s charismatic, energetic, clingy, over-attentive, autonomous, and self-propelling. We interviewed two people and ultimately and happily chose Amanda because she had all of those qualities, but the biggest deciding point for myself and my fiancé was that she was willing to be 5% involved, or 1000% involved and she made sure to let us know that was up to us. What I discovered throughout our year of planning together was that Amanda truly loves what she does. Every couple is her biggest commitment, and she never backs down from anything you present her. We worked so well together—she anticipated my questions and provided THE BEST referrals a gal could ask for. I used every single referral she sent my way, and our wedding was so much better for it. On the big day she was there early with her assistants and all three of them kept things going so smoothly; I had the best day because of them. Cleanup was done swiftly, all I had to do was pay my final bill with te venue and head home. Do yourself a huge favor and snag Amanda if you can—she’s literally the pinnacle of the wedding planner/coordinator crop.

We are so blessed to have found Amanda for our wedding day! Amanda was so kind, helpful, and professional She really did go above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.
If I could give one piece of advice to a future bride, it would be to hire people that you truly trust. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Amanda proved that she was extremely trustworthy. I was very nervous about everything going exactly right, but having somebody we trusted at our venue the morning of our wedding allowed me to relax and enjoy the day. I can go on and on about all the ways that Amanda helped us, but most importantly, Amanda gave my mother the ability to get ready with me and the bridesmaids. If Amanda wasn't so amazing, my mother would have had to handle all of those responsibilities. Getting ready with my mom, sister, and cousins is such a treasured memory that I wouldn't have if it wasn't for Amanda and I will forever be grateful for that. -

I cannot say enough good things about Amanda. We hired her about a year before the wedding, and we are SO glad we did! Right from the beginning, she was hands on and always there for us when we had questions. I felt comfortable texting her about the wedding, even if it was just to show off my dress or ask advice for writing my vows. I know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without her and her amazing nieces! Thank you SO much for making our day perfect! -

There are not enough good things to say about Amanda. She was our "day of" planner but her value started way before the day of. Planning a wedding is, in essence, terrifying and impossible, and most people have (of course) never done it before and have no idea what they are doing and it's enormous with a million tiny details, zomg. Amanda was absolutely essential to making our wedding happen. She met with us via video call multiple times in the months leading up to our wedding, always pointing out small things we'd overlooked, and then taking charge of getting it sorted out. Her catch phrase seemed to be "I will take care of that." Leading up to the wedding, she was responsive, she communicated regularly and well with us, and she helped us feel like this whole crazy, complicated day was possible. Anything I said was important to us, she made it happen. And in other areas, where I wasn't certain what would be best or what I wanted, she was full of good ideas and suggestions based on her experience. Day of, she was even more of a rock star, making sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time with the right details on what to do. We had the added bonus of terrible weather that necessitated some last minute changes and communication with our guests - she handled it all expertly. She made it so easy to just relax and enjoy the day, taking away so much stress and bringing just the right mix of planning and spontaneity that made the day feel organized but not over-organized. We are so grateful to her for making our day run smoothly and we cannot thank her enough. If you want someone who will make you feel steady and less stressed every time you talk to her, someone who will just "take care of that" when you feel overwhelmed with tasks, someone who will communicate expertly with your vendors, and someone who will help make your day feel like you, then Amanda is your person -

Amanda was amazing to work with! I had 6 weeks to plan a wedding for my son. He came home for few weeks (he’s military) so we didn’t have a lot of prep time. I made some of the bigger decisions on my own and quickly realized how overwhelmed I was. I wanted to enjoy the day, not just plan it. She thought of all the details I would have missed. She was willing to help in any capacity that I needed. She truly took the stress off me and was available all day of the wedding. She did an amazing job of co-ordinating everything. She recognized where I needed help and took control so I could enjoy the day. Flowers’s, decorations, prep, set up and clean up…. She was fantastic. Very professional and works well with all personalities! She’s flexible and listens to your hopes & dreams for the event. She knows what she’s doing and is confident in her abilities! -
