I worked with Amanda Holder over the weekend for a beautiful wedding at Opolo Vineyards, and I was so incredibly impressed and delighted by the services provided by her and her team. They were professional and always had a smile on their faces, and executed the event with attention to detail and a robust guest experience. Amanda and her team were very professional and responsive throughout the entire process. They were also so much fun to work and a pure joy to be around on my wedding day, which is a big deal considering your planner is with you through the most intimate moments. Of course, things didn't go as planned due to the usual madness that comes with a wedding - but Amanda was always on it, fixed the problem, and assured it would be taken care of. She really kept me calm and got shit done. -

As a wedding florist, I truly understand the importance of couples choosing the right planner to help facilitate coordination & communication throughout the entire planning process. I'm so thankful that Amanda & her team were on top of all the details leading up to our clients' wedding day (and were even able to transition plans smoothly when unexpected weather rolled in!) Would highly recommend them for couples getting married in the SLO area! -

The AHE team won us over from the first skype meet & greet call. Amanda is such a pro and set us up for success with vendor reccos and tools to make wedding planning so much easier. Hannah was our girl for the wedding weekend and month-of coordination. She had such a great spirit and sense of humor - exactly what we needed when things got stressful. -

The Definition of a Dream Team
Where to start?! Our wedding day and weekend were absolutely perfect, and it's all because of Amanda and her fabulous team! Not only did Amanda help us navigate through the planning challenges that 2020 presented, but she did so flawlessly, and with a 90 day timeline. With Amanda's guidance I felt at ease, relaxed, and so organized. Her vendor recommendations fit our vibe, budget, were all professional, and extremely talented. I can't boast enough about this wonderful team and how great of an experience we had! -

I am very organized so I wasn't sure initially if I needed a wedding planner but having Amanda turned out to be the absolute best decision. She helped us all along the way and scheduling + rescheduling vendors due to covid. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect and she handled everything! I was super nervous before the ceremony and the girls on Amanda's team even helped calm me down. If you want your wedding to be a seamless and perfectly organized event, you have to have Amanda there! -

Amanda Holder Events was simply awesome. At the beginning of our journey we had no idea how we could pull off a destination wedding so chose to go with “the full service” planning option . Amanda and team kept us to deadlines, recommended vendors, advised us on every decision but made sure we felt in control. The result was three perfect events - the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party and the wedding itself. The guests were raving about everything and days later we are still getting messages about how incredible it was. -

I do not even know where to start… Let’s just say, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
From the moment I met Amanda, I felt so comfortable with her - she is sweet, bubbly and so friendly. She has so much experience, I felt totally at ease with letting someone else take over. Even in the midst of covid and having to meet and plan over zoom, I still felt like I really got to know her and she made the planning process so much easier. She uses a website where everything is in one spot that has checklists, budgeting, seating charts, dream boards, and much much more. Having this easy-to-access website lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders during the planning process.
Amanda truly treats you like a friend and as busy as I’m sure she is, she was always readily available and easy to reach if I had any questions or concerns which was so important to me - because I definitely had lots of questions! I could tell within every conversation with her, grasping my vision for my wedding day was her upmost priority. If I thought it - she told me - we’ll make it happen.
On the rehearsal day, I was able to meet the rest of her team, and they were all incredible too! Each of them are so organized, punctual, friendly, and honestly make you feel so special and important at every moment. My wedding day - quite literally - could not have happened without them.
I really could go on and on, but all I am trying to say is… I highly recommend this dream team, 10/10!!! -

As a fellow vendor, Amanda Holder Events is the best in the biz. They are always organized, punctual, attentive, and just overall great to work with. AHE also coordinated my sister's wedding in 2019 and Amanda slayed it. 10/10 recommended on both the vendor and consumer sides!
