The Perfect Wedding Weekend at Ella's Vineyard!
We hired Amanda & her team as our day of coordinators, but they were SO much more than that. They were truly a partner to us throughout our two year engagement - checking in on our planning progress through our online portal & zoom calls, giving us so many incredible resources to get us started (check lists, timeline templates, vendor contacts, just to name a few!) and always being quick to respond to our questions and share their recommendations / opinions.
It was really important to us that our friends & family got to enjoy the day, so we were very grateful that we could lean on Amanda, Sarah & Shea to handle all of the day-of logistics. They did an incredible job running the show - coordinating with all of the other vendors we had on site, setting up all of our personal decor & details, and keeping the timeline running smoothly as the night went on.

Best Wedding Planners in California!
Working with Amanda, Hannah, and the whole team at Amanda Holder Events was like working with family. We knew from the first call that they were the team for us; choosing them to support us in planning our wedding weekend was by far the best choice we made in planning our wedding.
We had a three day wedding weekend, and the entire time was the most beautiful, organized, and special weekend of our lives. Amanda and her team were with us every step of the way throughout the planning process. Whenever we spoke with them, we felt like we were the only clients they had. They made us feel so special, they were consistently kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had the best vendors, design, and experience a couple could ask for.
We love Amanda and Hannah, they are truly family now. -

Amanda Holder & Team exceeded every expectation
Our wedding went off without a hitch because of the excellent coordination services provided by Amanda Holder and her team. Amanda stepped in to help as soon as we decided to hire her over a year before our wedding to be our day-of coordinator and checked in with us every month till the big day. She was there every step of the way to offer guidance, expertise, and support throughout our wedding planning experience. When our wedding weekend arrived, Amanda and her team helped ensure everyone including vendors was on-time, knew where to set-up, and checked in with us throughout the events (rehearsal, welcome reception, rehearsal dinner & wedding day-of coordination) to ensure my now husband and I were taken care of. I would highly recommend Amanda time and time again for any couple looking for an expert wedding coordinator to ensure a smooth and successful wedding day! -

Amazing Team!
Amanda and her team are absolutely amazing! From beginning to end they were organized, enthusiastic, and helpful. They provided great recommendations to capture our wedding day dreams and ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly! Shea was our day of lead and she was incredible. Her and the rest of the team handled any issues so calmly and professionally. During planning, every vendor I contacted (and even individuals in the industry I met by chance) noted that I was in good hands with Amanda. They have a great reputation in the area and it is so well deserved! I can go on and on about how great this team is. I had my ideal wedding day and couldn't have done it without them!

There is not enough words I can say to truly say how AMAZING it was to work with Amanda and her team. Truly from the entire process of booking my vendors, communicating with my parents, helping me decide small details, to just being an incredible nice and stress free wedding planner - it was incredible. Most brides say that the day of (which in my case was a weekend long event - 4+ events) is extremely stressful and goes by quickly and a little bit of a blur and it could NOT be less true with Amanda. Truly enjoyed and was in the moment at each event with ZERO stress!! Amanda and her team are PROs and they gave us the best day & weekend we could've imagined and MORE! Amazing team!
I cannot say enough good things about Amanda and the whole AHE team. I was a nervous planner and liked to double and triple check everything, and the ladies always responded promptly, helped with any questions or needs, helped me find any vendors I still needed to lock down, gave their honest opinions when I really needed it, and most of all they made the wedding day run so so smooth. If you are debating, I would say the AHE team is worth every dollar spent. Their organization, communication, and planning tools make everything so easy so that the planning stress never becomes too much. We are so so grateful to them for making our wedding day amazing!.

Mother of the Bride
Amanda Holder Events was simply awesome. At the beginning of our journey we had no idea how we could pull off a destination wedding so chose to go with “the full service” planning option . Amanda and team kept us to deadlines, recommended vendors, advised us on every decision but made sure we felt in control. The result was three perfect events - the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party and the wedding itself. A dream to work with
Amanda Holder and her team are truly the best at what they do. The planning process with Amanda was made very easy. She did almost all of the leg work for us. Whenever we even started to feel the least bit stressed, Amanda would calm our worries and show us everything was on schedule.
During the event itself, Amanda's team were truly incredible. As the Bride and Groom, we never had to lift a finger or make any decisions on our special day (Special shoutout to Hannah and Martha for keeping our drink glasses full and every need catered too!). Although, I know Amanda and her team work on weddings nearly every weekend, she never, ever treated us like we were "just another wedding" on her schedule. We always had her full attention and she truly cared about putting on our special day. I could not recommend her more highly. Simply wonderful to work with. -

We laughed, we cried, and most importantly we didn’t have to worry about any of the coordination details!
I’m definitely not your typical bride, my now husband is not your typical groom, and the event we planned was not your typical wedding. To start off, we are both busy- VERY busy. My husband is an architect working full time for a local design firm and part time at starting his own business. I’m a full-time COVID epidemiologist, an almost full-time graduate student, and a research assistant for several studies. We are also both (former) fire performers and we’ve been heavily involved in bringing art and participatory activity to the Burning Man festival for our entire relationship and then some. We’ve also amassed an incredible, tight-knit, hilarious, loving community of friends and chosen family over the years in addition to our blood-related families who we are also very close with (and who are also a colorful cast of characters on their own!).
The wedding we wanted, or rather, NEEDED amidst the hardship and isolation of the last two plus years was very particular. We needed to be able to invite between 100-200 guests, to have the venue all weekend, to be able to stay on-site, to be able to do the rehearsal, ceremony, reception, etc at the venue, to be able to stay up late making noise around a fire pit, and to have a safe spot to include fire performance and aerial performance in the festivities. Despite the rather tall order, we found a perfect, beautiful venue, Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, CA. The only problem? Their availability meant that we’d only have 6 months to plan the wedding, an almost insurmountable feat even for people half as chaotically busy as we are.
At first, we tried to soldier along on our own. We figured out some of the details, picked out our wedding garments, found a donut shop to do a donut wall (we both think cake is overrated), and enlisted loved ones to fill some of the crucial roles (our officiant, florist, and photographer were all dear friends of ours, it was very special). We also enlisted my mom and my sister to help, and truly we felt pretty confident until we realized the sheer number of details that still needed to be figured out and the immense amount of coordination that would be needed over the weekend and on the big day. Needless to say, we panicked and froze and started to freak out- classic.
In a stroke of characteristic pragmatism just two months before the wedding, my mom, whom this wedding would not have happened without, decided to hire a wedding coordinator. At first, I told her we didn’t need one, but looking back that was absolutely naive of me, because we definitely should have hired someone as soon as we set the date.
When my mom hired Amanda and her team, every vendor we spoke to, without prompting, enthusiastically told us that we made a good choice and that Amanda was THE BEST. They were certainly right! Amanda scheduled a virtual meeting with us right away to discuss our vision and what we’d need help with, and right from the get-go she was professional, organized, kind, and totally on-board with our nontraditional shenanigan-filled ideas. Over the course of the next two months, her and her amazing team gently pushed us to organize our thoughts and ideas as well as the plans we had already made, to make arrangements for the things we had not figured out yet, and to help us make our dreams a beautiful reality, all while respecting and understanding how frazzled and overworked we were.
The weekend of the event finally rolled around, and I met the rest of Amanda’s team on-site the night of the rehearsal. Not only were they all some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, but they worked like a well-tuned machine. By the end of the rehearsal I felt confident that this was all going to work- we were in good hands! They stayed on-site for a while longer on Friday, which was a godsend because I was still so clueless about everything and every time someone asked me a question I just directed them to the team and knew it would get handled. I chatted with most of the team members one on one and they were the kind of people who I would have invited to the wedding even if they weren’t coordinators. They made my family, my husband, his family, and our friends feel so supported and cared for!
When I woke up, groggy and mildly hungover on Saturday late morning, Amanda’s team was already on-site and in action. As I got my makeup done and was transformed from a sweaty mess into a beautiful bride, the team checked in on me and the other guests who got ready with me and buzzed around the venue getting things done and coordinating other vendors. The first time I peeked outside at the ceremony space, I was floored. It was beyond gorgeous and so perfect that I couldn’t keep myself from happy crying. Not once did I have to interrupt my emotions to deal with logistics.
The ceremony itself was overwhelmingly beautiful and my heart aches knowing that I can’t live in that exact hour for the rest of my life. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to the team, and really they were just getting started. As soon as they dismissed the guests to the reception hall, they brought my husband and me drinks, water, and tissues (we needed those by a huge degree, haha). They kept us on-time for photos, led us to the entrance hall, and even had plates of dinner already set out for us when we got there. With the second drink-refresh, I started to feel like the president being attended to by a team of loyal secret-service agents, it was pretty surreal and I might have let it get to my head a little bit.
Over the rest of the night they continued to hold the entire event down while still having fun and participating in our silly nonsense and party-games. The first dance was, as you can guess, a first fire dance, and both my husband and I had to change into different outfits beforehand. Hannah, one of Amanda’s team members, drove my tipsy self up to the on-site cabins and helped me change, kept me from getting too distracted, and drove me back down to the reception hall. I probably wouldn’t have been able to do all of that on my own.
When it was time to say goodbye to Amanda and the crew, I felt a genuine pang of sadness in my heart. Everyone was beyond lovely and I just wanted to hang out with them longer, even if they weren’t bringing me drinks! Their service was compassionate, personal, warm, gentle, organized, professional, nonjudgmental, and incredibly effective. Throughout the whole weekend, I was able to focus on the important stuff while they handled all of the finer details AND made me feel so so special.
My husband, our families, our friends, and me were able to have the most hilarious, fun, carefree, and beautifully spiritually important time of our lives because of Amanda and her team. They were the integral piece in bringing our vision to life and I cannot thank them (or my mom!) enough for making it happen. I told all of them that they’re part of my family now and I will absolutely treat them to coffee or a meal if they’re ever in my neck of the woods.
So the ultimate questions are: Is Amanda Holder Events “THE BEST?”? Do they live up to the hype?? The answer is the most resounding “yes” ever spoken and I’d give them 100 out of 5 stars in every category if possible. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a great wedding coordinator, especially if your ceremony is quirky and nontraditional like mine. While I’ve never worked with a wedding coordinator prior to this, I can confidently say that we happened to stumble across the best people for the job, and our magical weekend would not have been possible without them.-

The whole planning process, due to the aid of the AHE team, went so smoothly. The day of the wedding was flawless and the incredible team of Shea, Martha, Mia and Sierra knocked it out of the park. The groom and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. They were professional and calm in addition to being so willing to help in whatever way they could whenever they could. Working with such a competent team who has your back is so important on a day that is as special as your wedding. The best wedding planning team!
Amanda and team were so amazing to work with! They kept us organized, responded quickly to all of our questions throughout the planning process, gave us polite nudges if we were falling behind on our tasks, and make sure all the details that might be overlooked are taken care of. They did a fantastic job coordinating all the scheduling and details between vendors, and did an AMAZING job behind the scenes that made the wedding day go as smoothly as possible! Even with a power outage the morning of the wedding and the stress that can bring, I felt so relaxed knowing the team had the entire day under control! They had plan a, b and c ready just in case! Amanda and her team are THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Not only is Amanda the sweetest most calmest human being to ever live, her team is attentive, detail-oriented, and focused. They helped to make our day run smoother than we could have ever imagined. Wedding planning during a pandemic was not always easy, but the Amanda Holder Events team always put my mind at ease. Amanda is SO GREAT with communication! She replies quickly and completely, and answered all questions throughout the wedding planning process. Although I hired Amanda for wedding management as a day-of coordinator at my venue, she did SO MUCH MORE. Dreams come true
As a lay person,We don’t know what we don’t know. Amanda and her team helped us realize the most magical experience for our daughterBrooke and her wedding to Justin. I highly recommend hiring Amanda Holder events to help bring everything into place for the special day. There are so many details I would’ve never known I was missing and they help pull everything together over the months as we planned this day so that we could take a step back feel the love and enjoy all our family and friends who came to celebrate with us at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort. We chose Amanda Holder events as they were recommended by our venue Croad Vineyards in Paso Robles. We chose the base wedding management so they could work with us throughout the planning process. The information provided was useful in guiding us. Their web based planning tool really helped keep us all organized and on the same page. The day of the wedding, 4 planners were there to assist with all our needs. This allowed the wedding party to enjoy the day and know everything was handled. -

To Have and to Holder
We were so lucky that early in our search we chose Amanda Holder as our wedding planner. We interviewed 5 planners, and she was most professional, light-hearted, and experienced planner we spoke to, as well as having a team of warm and caring individuals. Amanda brings the perfect mix of calming in-control attitude as well as meticulous detailed project management. Amanda and her team helped us plan a fairly large 3 day weekend wedding (175 guests) with lots of add-ons and moving pieces. She helped us select vendors, negotiate contracts, and give feedback on our plans, letting us drive but providing helpful guidance and insight. When the inevitable things went wrong (not enough chairs from our rental co. or last minute changes to the menu) she knew exactly what to do, who to call, and how to make it all happen in the lowest stress way possible for us. The biggest snafu was our elaborate lighting structure was not installed to plan by a vendor. All we had to do was ask, and she was on it, going above and beyond to source higher poles from other vendors so the canopy could be done to design. On the day of the wedding, she had a full on posse of 10 planners handling every little detail in shifts, so that we could really relax and enjoy our special day. We are so thankful for Amanda Holder and we don't know how we could have done it without her.

“Amanda and her Dream Team” ( as we have dubbed them) helped make our wedding day more magical then we could have ever imagined! They are truly the BEST! Amanda is absolutely attentive, kind, calm and kept us on track throughout the entire wedding process. On our special day, Amanda led her team with such professionalism that everything ran more smoothly then we could have ever hoped for. Her team and the vendors she recommended went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From bringing us appetizers while we finished up pictures to helping us change out of our wedding shoes into our dancing shoes and everything in between! Amanda helped organize a few surprises along the way, one being a video message from my son who is in the Navy and was unable to attend our big day, being able to “see” our son on that day meant more to us than I could ever express! If you are planning a wedding in the San Luis Obispo area, hiring Amanda and her team is a must! The entire team is incredible. We absolutely could not have had the wedding of our dreams without their tireless help during the wedding planning process and throughout the wedding weekend. Amanda's superpower is her ability to calmly provide solutions to ANY situation or problem! Her staff is competent, responsible, and always positive. We hired Amanda Holder Events to help us plan and staff the Rehearsal Dinner and Post-wedding Brunch for a very reasonable fee, since she was helping our son and fiancee plan their wedding. We experienced a "mini-crisis" with a Rehearsal Dinner vendor and Amanda jumped into action, providing extra staff to take up the slack and got us a refund from the vendor. Beyond amazing!!
Our wedding day wouldn’t have turned out perfect without the help of Amanda Holder and her team! Planning a destination wedding can be intimidating at first when you aren’t familiar with the area, vendors and unable to meet in person. But choosing Amanda to help us plan our wedding was the best choice we could have made. Despite prolonging our wedding and changing our date multiple times due to Covid and finding out how much stress and heartache this caused us. Amanda worked with us through it all! They were also so much fun to work and a pure joy to be around on my wedding day, which is a big deal considering your planner is with you through the most intimate moments. Of course, things didn't go as planned due to the usual madness that comes with a wedding - but Amanda was always on it, fixed the problem, and assured it would be taken care of. She really kept me calm and got shit done.-

Ya...I do have favorites...
I am a 10+ year wedding photographer, so I've seen a lot of wedding coordinators, but Amanda Holder and her team still blow me away every time I work with them. They are SO sweet, SO flexible, and SO in control of everything happening. I have never seen them rustled, flustered, or panicked. Their precision and planning make the day feel smooth, easy, and uninhibited by the worries and difficulties that weddings can sometimes bring. Not with Amanda. She gives us (photographers) the room to capture and create phenomenal moments with our couples, and makes them feel secure, happy, and SO well taken care of.

Amanda Holder is hands down the most talented, professional, kind, detailed and the biggest superstar in the wedding game.
She helped us put together a rockstar team of vendors and gave us much needed guidance every step of the way.
After having to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, she took away every bit of stress and facilitated a smooth transition to our new date. She ensured we had the best wedding weekend possible. Amanda planned our Rehearsal, Welcome Event and Wedding. Every part of the weekend was beautiful and went as smooth as it gets. Amanda and her team worked tirelessly throughout the weekend and were a breathe of fresh air and a calming presence.

Couldn't have happened without them
I just want to start this review off the same way Amanda found out why we wanted to hire a wedding planner. I never wanted to plan a wedding. I was never that little girl dreaming about her wedding. The bachelorette and honeymoon trips is what I was dreaming about as a little girl. We did really well picking out all of our vendors after that wedding planning wasn't fun for me. I convinced my husband (who wanted the wedding celebration and not the courthouse wedding) to let me factor in a wedding planner into our budget because I told him I didn't sign up for this. Amanda and her team took on everything I had no interest in planning and thought of things I would have never thought of. They were great and honestly our wedding wouldn't have been as beautiful, well put together, or flow nicely if it wasn't for Amanda and her team. Thank you for everything and convincing my husband this service was needed! (On to honeymoon planning - this is what I'm excited to plan - yeaaa!) -

I cannot recommend Amanda Holder Events enough!
I have been photographing weddings on the central coast for the last 16 years. Amanda (and her incredible crew) are always an absolute joy to work with. They are prompt with the information I need prior to a wedding day. On the day, they are in constant motion setting up, problem solving and moving everything along in a fluid, seamless fashion. The best coordinators are the ones you hardly know are there; they are behind the scenes taking care of hundreds of tiny details and unexpected problems that invariably come up at every wedding. The couples that hire Amanda Holder Events are hiring the very best. When I walk into a wedding day and see Amanda, I know my job will be easier to accomplish. I will be able to do my best and not have to worry about timing, the days organization or the success of the celebration. I cannot recommend Amanda Holder Events enough!

Absolute Perfection
Amanda Holder and her team are nothing short of EXCELLENT. I am the mother of the bride and worked with Amanda throughout the entire planning process. When hiring Amanda and her team we had no idea we would be trying to plan and execute our daughters wedding during a world wide pandemic. Three date changes, two wedding venues, multiple vendor additions and swaps, and three sets of invitations, I never once saw Amanda unsettled or shaken by these crazy unchartered waters. She navigated the entire process with ease and professionalism. Not to mention her smile and bubbly personality will light up any room she enters. She is a true leader in the field and handled every hiccup that came our way...and believe me Covid threw us many.
Needless to say our daughters day was absolutely perfect, every single detail executed with precision. It could not have been more magical and we owe everything to Amanda Holder Events. -

Best Planner Ever :)
If you are thinking about planning a wedding on the Central Coast without a planner, you should probably reconsider. Our wedding day ended up having 14 different vendors and I don’t think I could have handled it very well without Amanda Holder Events. Amanda and her team really brought all the details together for our wedding day beautifully. Amanda was always quick to respond to our questions and always quick to take action when needed. She provided a list of vendors that she recommended and helped us narrow it down and choose the best fit for our day. Amanda is so professional and very experienced I never felt stressed during the wedding planning process. On the wedding day her team made sure that my husband and I had our favorite drinks in our hands and insisted that we took some time to eat all of the great food we picked. Our Wedding Day was seamless thanks to her team keeping us on track and handling any issues that popped up. I cannot recommend Amanda enough! -

I do not even know where to start… Let’s just say, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
From the moment I met Amanda, I felt so comfortable with her - she is sweet, bubbly and so friendly. She has so much experience, I felt totally at ease with letting someone else take over. Even in the midst of covid and having to meet and plan over zoom, I still felt like I really got to know her and she made the planning process so much easier. She uses a website where everything is in one spot that has checklists, budgeting, seating charts, dream boards, and much much more. Having this easy-to-access website lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders during the planning process.
Amanda truly treats you like a friend and as busy as I’m sure she is, she was always readily available and easy to reach if I had any questions or concerns which was so important to me - because I definitely had lots of questions! I could tell within every conversation with her, grasping my vision for my wedding day was her upmost priority. If I thought it - she told me - we’ll make it happen.
On the rehearsal day, I was able to meet the rest of her team, and they were all incredible too! Each of them are so organized, punctual, friendly, and honestly make you feel so special and important at every moment. My wedding day - quite literally - could not have happened without them.
I really could go on and on, but all I am trying to say is… I highly recommend this dream team, 10/10!!! -

If you are planning a wedding on the Central Coast do not hesitate, hire Amanda Holder and her team immediately. She has the best connections with vendors & a phenomenal reputation among the wedding industry (all our vendors were like "Amanda's your planner, you're going to the have the best wedding ever!" From our initial interaction she was beyond helpful with vendor recommendations & contract review. TRUST ME, you NEED a wedding planner because even if you are the most organized person in the best of times, you cannot plan for a global pandemic & all the curve-balls it will throw at you. Amanda & her team were not only able to plan our dream wedding for 275 of our closest friends, but due to COVID-19 she was able to unplan and re-plan our wedding for only 27 people and make it feel like nothing was missing. She checked in on us along the way & helped us make the hard decisions once the reality of not being able to have our original wedding set in. She was able to keep aspects from what we thought was our “dream wedding” and pull off our actual dream wedding while including almost all of our original vendors on a much smaller scale. I cannot emphasize enough that if you are considering an event on the Central Coast, this is your girl, she is on your team & it will be better than you dreamed!! -

Amanda and her team is awesome. She's detailed and very proactive ahead of time so there's less challenges during the event. She's extremely collaborative and allows her fellow vendors to do their craft without micromanaging while ensuring the overall outcome is reached. LOVE working with her! -

Amanda and her team are the best of the best! You cannot go wrong with hiring her. She is so on top of her game and will always pick up a call or be there if you have any questions. Working with Amanda and her team is always flawless. We have probably worked over 30 weddings together at this point and everyone of them goes off with out a hitch. She makes it happen and if anything goes wrong her clients would never know because she handles it so well and it turns into a blip on the radar instead of it turning into a huge deal. SHE IS JUST THE BEST! I couldn't recommend her more. Nothing can hold her down and she is always ready for what ever is thrown her way! HIRE HER! It will be the best decision of your entire wedding planning experience! -
