  Beautiful Makeup and SO Responsive

  Allison responded to my emails quickly and was very flexible with my scheduling requests. She did an AMAZING job on my makeup and spent a lot of extra time using many shades to highlight and contour my face (where few makeup artists have done so). You will not be disappointed!

  Perfect Wedding Make-Up!

  Allison was wonderful to work with. She was incredibly flexible in accommodating both my trial and wedding-day appointments. I so appreciated that she was able to come to me on my wedding day and the make-up looks she created for me and my mother were just what we wanted. I would definitely recommend her!

  Exceedingly Talented and Incredibly Responsive

  Allison is by far the best professional makeup artist that i have ever worked with. She beautified my entire bridal party of 7, and took the time to listen to what I, as the bride, was looking for as a look on my special day. She was extremely responsive in the months and days leading up to the wedding, and was a tremendously calming presence while we were working to get ready. By the end, we all looked absolutely stunning and beautiful well into the night. She is meticulous and through, yet efficient. Words do not even begin to express how spectacular her work is. I cannot sing her praises enough and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a DC makeup artist!

  Amazing make-up artist in DC!

  
  Allison was my absolute favorite wedding day vendor! I have never felt more beautiful in my life. She took the time to listen to my needs and created the natural look I wanted. What I loved most was that I felt like a better version of me - not another person. In the past I have had my makeup done and it was too heavy. Allison was also really sweet and nice to talk to - I learned some skin tips along the way. SO grateful I picked Allison for my day :)

  Winter Wedding!

  Allison was great! She completed makeup for myself and five family members prior to my wedding and everyone looked lovely! She used high-end products and completed everyone’s look with time to spare!

  Amazing make up artist

  I found Allison on Wedding Wire after trying a cheaper makeup studio. We did a trial a few weeks beforehand at her place, which was great to get to know her better. I realized that I wanted to switch up the look after the trial and she was super flexible but also realistic about helping me realize how much makeup went into some of the "lighter" looks I showed her. The day of, she did an amazing job with my 3 bridesmaids, my mom (who NEVER gets her makeup done and was very nervous), and myself. I really wanted a wine lip and she made it look gorgeous and stay the whole night, and I definitely got all the compliments. She gave me the lip pencil that she used for touch ups which was super helpful and I've used since! In addition to being very talented, she is a very kind and easy going person so you feel comfortable in her hands. I highly recommend!!

  Amazing, sophisticated and natural makeup!

  Allison is so talented, and did an amazing job on our wedding day! I’m very (very!) picky about makeup because it’s so easy to overdo it and look like a completely different person. I wanted a classic look that looked like “me” (only slightly better, right?) and Allison was amazing.   My favorite wedding vendor!

  I found Allison on weddingwire and I'm so happy I did! She was a calming presence throughout the planning process and the day of my wedding in DC. Allison was flexible on setting up a trial and spent time making revisions to be sure everything was right. On the morning of the wedding I didn't have to explain anything and just let her do her magic! We didn't have a wedding party but my mother-in-law and sister-in-law both also had their make-up done and loved the results. I highly recommend Allison! Plus, she's totally the cool friend who will give you awesome skincare and make-up advice and maybe take you rock climbing :)

  Having a wedding in December means dry skin, chapped lips, and no tan, but she created the exact look that I wanted, melding a classic/ romantic/ whimsical vision with a LOT of glitter :-). As someone with very sensitive skin and a lot of allergies her products felt as great as they looked on my skin and my makeup lasted all day long (even through all the tears). Allison was affordable, flexible, and totally committed to doing what it took to make me feel comfortable and beautiful.
  
  The folks responsible for your look on your wedding day are half artist half therapist, you trust them with a lot as a bride. I was so lucky that my look on my wedding day was in Allison's hands, she prioritized how I felt when I looked in the mirror above anything else. Thank you so much Allison, I can't wait for an excuse to work with you again!

  Wonderful!

  I truly loved working with Allison. This was the first time I've EVER liked my make up after getting it done professionally. I was looking for someone that could do my make up in a way that looked natural and not overdone. She did a great job of meeting those wishes, but still made me look polished and made me feel beautiful. She also did my mom and my mother-in-law's make up and did a they looked gorgeous as well.
  
  I also want to note that it was SUPER hot and humid and my make up managed to stay looking great all night!

  Allison did my makeup for a recent wedding and I was blown away by her skills. I felt modern and polished and not at all like I was wearing too much makeup. I would highly recommend Allison if you want to look natural yet refined and sophisticated.

  Allison was fantastic to work with! We had a bit of a tight schedule and she was able to accomplish everything within the time. We asked for pretty natural makeup look and the whole party ended up looking so beautiful. Very very impressed.

  Wow. I am so grateful to have found Allison. I wanted the kind of makeup you see on celebrities walking the red carpet - polished, but not over done. Allison was able to capture that fresh faced, modern look I was going for.

  Grateful to have found Allison! What a rare find in the DC area. She used to live in NYC where she worked in fashion and it really comes through in her insane attention to detail and brilliant eye for what looks best on everyone. Me and my bridesmaids were all so happy with our makeup. I can honestly say I have never felt more beautiful in my life.

  I found Allison a desperate search to find a reasonably-priced makeup artist for my wedding (which I was planning over the course of 3 months so I didn't have a ton of time to do research but also did not have a ton of money to spend).

  Allison is a great and professional makeup artist. She really listens to what you want, is open to any changes (no matter how subtle), and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. She also has a calm energy which really helped on the day of my wedding when I started getting nervous :)

  Allison was a fantastic find, she captured exactly the look i was after with her gorgeous products, and also fitted in a last minute pre-wedding trial before the big day for me which was a huge help. With a friendly, calm and diligent manner, Allison was absolutely perfect on the wedding day itself, arrived early to set up and sent me off to get married a very happy bride! I'm delighted to have hired Allison and hugely recommend her! x
