Alexan Events was amazing!! We decided on a October 1 wedding just a short 3.5 months before the day and stacey and her team worked so hard to make the day perfect for my husband and I. As someone who is not super creative, stacey was able to take my bare ideas and turn them into something amazing. Not only did they help plan a perfect day, but the day of execution couldn't have been more spot on. I was stress free on my big day knowing that stacey had all the vendors organized and day of activities under control, she even came in clutch with double sided tape when I didn't have any! Another great aspect of alexan events was that they were a one stop shop for all our party needs - flowers, decor, furniture, linens, etc. it was nice to have one point of contact for all our needs. I would recommend stacey and her team to any bride to be! Thanks for making my day so memorable!!Alexan Events was amazing!! Thank you Alexan and Stacy for making the venue even more amazing! Stacy and her team really brought our vision to reality and really knew how to decorate Dunafon Castle without interfering with its natural beauty. The decorations and flowers were right on with what we had discussed. Stacy worked well with all the other vendors and took lead which made the event planning easier for me. You do not need another wedding planner when you hire professionals like Stacy and her team. Eventhough brides do start with the maximum vision, Alexan works well with getting the budget in line with your vision. Thank you for making the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and grounds beautiful!Thank you Alexan and Stacy for making the venue even more amazing! Before finding Alexan Events, my husband and I had begun the venue search on our own. Panic truly set in after visiting several venues and realizing all the details, large and small, that go into planning a wedding. At that time I knew we needed help, and lots of it!!
At the first meeting, Stacy asked me what I envisioned for my wedding. After the deer in the headlights look I gave her, the only detail I was able to give her was “elegantly, rustic, with some horsey flare”. Yes, I had looked at all sorts of pictures on pinterest, but decorating is not my forte! After Stacy and Stephanie gave us several ideas and showed us a bunch of pictures, we knew everything was going to be absolutely beautiful.
Stacy and Stephanie dealt with every little detail along the way, which was so incredibly helpful. When it came to the actual day, it could not have gone any better. If anything went wrong, we sure didn’t know about it!
When I first saw the venue decorated, I was blown away. It far surpassed anything I could have ever imagined. And, let me just say that the flowers were amazing!! The fact that Stacy does the flowers and decor herself is a MAJOR bonus! Everything was so beautiful! I’ve told Stacy at Alexan Events this several times and I’ll say it again, in considering every purchase that I made for my wedding (including my dress), hiring Stacy and her team was the absolute best purchase I made by far.
I researched several wedding planners and reviewed their portfolios. While all wedding pictures were beautiful, Stacy’s really stood out. She was so dynamic with her weddings and really looked as though she was making each bride’s personality come to life. Also, she has props and decorations that exceeded anything anyone else has! I rented four gorgeous chandeliers that absolutely charmed my venue.
In working with Stacy, she was extremely efficient with my time, asking direct questions and helping me along with ideas and décor pictures when I didn’t know the right answer. Before we even sat down for our first official planning appointment, she had reviewed my Pinterest account and pinpointed my style exactly. She articulated things about my tastes that I didn’t even realize until talking to her. Then (this blew my mind) she came up with more ideas and concepts that supported and enhanced my styles and tastes that I would have ever even considered!
What I really got a kick out of while working with Stacy was the fact that she doesn’t mess around. There were a few times while working with my vendors that she really went to bat for me- hard core. It was amazing! Stacy and her team did such a fantastic job on my wedding and I could not be happier with the outcome! Between the flowers and coordination of the whole day, it all went so smooth and couldn't imagine my wedding without her! I highly recommend Alexan Events to anyone needing assistance in planning. Stacy and her team are incredible. Stacy was able to produce a wedding that went beyond our wildest expectations -- it was pure perfection. I started my planning with her without really knowing what we wanted. She was able to somehow crawl into my head and figure out my dreams and make them a reality. During the planning process, Stacy handled all the hiccups with grace and took all the stress off of me. She even handled my mother in law for me when I couldn't take it anymore. She guided us towards extremely high-quality vendors in our price range. On the wedding day, the decor took my breath away -- Stacy has an eye for design. My guests are still talking about the wedding weeks later, saying it was one of the most fun and the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to. Stacy and her team managed to be everywhere at once but somehow also disappeared into the shadows. They are amazing. Besides planning, decoration, decor rental, and day-of coordination, Stacy's also a florist. She created the perfect bouquets and table decor for our day. I stumbled onto Alexan Events when I started planning and I am so glad I did. This is a team of extreme professionals who also happen to be personable and fun to be around. OK so here is the real deal about Stacy and her staff.
My wife and I were trying to plan our own wedding since I had previous experience in the event planning field. My wife generously allowed me to take the reigns on the party planning and so it begun. Well after about six months of trying to do everything myself and virtually everyone around me suffering due to my groomzilla attitude, it was my mother who finally suggested that we hire a planner.
Now my family is very experienced in planning parties so it just couldn't be any old planner that we hired, IT HAD TO BE THE BEST! Well after interviewing about 30 different planners Stacy and Alexan Events were recommended to us by a family friend. From the first phone call I knew we would be well taken care of at Alexan and that Stacy had the capabilities to pull off the high caliber event that we so desired and still accomplish this feat within our budget!
From our first meeting all the way through months after our wedding Stacy and her staff conducted themselves with the highest level of poise, professionalism, patience and dignity. They were able to read us like an open book and understood what we were trying to achieve.
We had told Stacy from the very beginning that we were NOT throwing a reception instead we wanted to throw the most kicking party Denver had ever seen.
Everything from the lighting breakout to create our starry night, to the beautiful lounge feel cocktail set up, to the smallest details on our escort cards showed the level of class and craftsmanship that we were after.
However Stacy and her staffs' talents are by no means limited to just design. Stacy knew from the beginning that we had chosen a venue that is by no means "easy" to work with, yet she was able to get everything we needed from them in a timely fashion as well as conduct their staff as well as hers on how things should be done.
Our guests were not only well taken care of, but felt like our wedding was truly a celebration!
Would I recommend Stacy and Alexan again? Not only have I already, but I will continue to do so!
Will Stacy and Alexan be able to transform the ordinary into EXTRAORDINARY? You had better believe it; these women have talent in spades and are nothing short of the finest planners in the biz!

We were extremely happy with Alexan Events planning services. Since all of our guests would be traveling from out of town (and us, too!), we really wanted to emphasize the natural beauty of a winter wedding in the mountains. Stacy made that happen.
In the months leading up to our event, Stacy was very available and responsive to my calls. She provided us with great choices in other vendors, and we were really pleased with the photographer, bands, choir, videographer, DJ, etc. that we used. She even found us a truly authentic mariachi group that was on par with anything youd hear in Mexico! She also came up with cost-cutting ideas that really helped to maximize the bang for the buck in decorations.
We got many comments from our guests about how beautiful the decorations were and about how well-organized the day was. Even with shuttling all our guests from the hotel to the church and back again for the reception, the logistics flowed seamlessly. The room she designed for our reception was breathtaking the use of lighting, fabrics and flowers really created the mountain elegance we were hoping for.

Stacy and Alexan Events deserve more than 5 stars. From the moment we hired Stacy to the very last second of my wedding she was available, organized, dependable, trustworthy, professional, honest, supportive, understanding, and patient. Stacy and her team always went above and beyond, and they were also 50 steps ahead of my mom and I (and I'll be honest my mom and I are on-top of things and we are very particular). We were never disappointed, they are worth every penny, plus a lot more. What else do you want from a wedding/event planner!!? My mom and I could not have asked for anything more from her. Planning my wedding was a breeze because of Stacy, I never needed to worry about anything. Not only in the planning process but the day of my wedding, I did not have one tiny worry or stress, because I knew Stacy and Alexan Events had everything under control, to the very last detail. Stacy and her team did an awesome job planning our wedding. They are very organized, creative, and were fun to work with. Stacy listened to what we wanted and executed a very beautiful wedding for us. The decor and flowers were spectacular and we were more than pleased.
