Lexi coordinated our wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge. She was assigned to us and we could not have been happier!!! Lexi is literally one of my favorite humans. She is the absolute sweetest, so funny, so organized and put together, and literally the most responsive vendor out of all of the people we hired. She had an amazingly organized wedding planning document to keep me on track and literally was the glue that kept the entire wedding together on the day-of. I seriously cannot imagine my wedding without her. My family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her too. She is prepared for anything that comes her way. I knew from the first time I talked to her, that no matter what happened on our wedding day, she would be able to handle it. I don't think anything went wrong on our wedding day, and if it did I had no idea because she probably fixed it before I even noticed! Lexi is the wedding side kick I never knew I needed. Book her, you will not regret it! -

Hiring Alexis and her team at AKG Event was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Alexis is kind, professional, and will assist you in every detail of your day. Alexis and her team were truly a gift to us and our families. She allowed each of us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our day because we knew she had given attention and care to each detail. Every moment was planned and every decoration had its exact place. She is well-connected within the PA wedding industry which gave me confidence in choosing wedding vendors planning a wedding long-distance. Even with all the changes and restrictions this year, Alexis was prompt to adjust plans and I believe our wedding was even more special than we originally imagined because of her excellent work. We loved working with Alexis and would recommend her to any couple! -

From the moment we chose to work with Alexis I knew that she had the experience, personality, and work ethic to absolutely rock every detail of our wedding + our unique vision.
From start to finish, I always felt like I could reach out with any question (no question too small or silly!) and I would hear back within 24 hours or less with a thoughtful, experience-backed answer. Before I could even ask most questions, Alexis and her team had already handled it. and this was all PRE wedding day!
On wedding day, Alexis and her team made me feel so insanely calm and at peace - she had thought of EVERYTHING - even an electric handwarmer for me to hold as I did outdoor photos in 50 degree weather in early April - something I'll always remember as a life saver! She was my advocate and worked so closley with the video and photo teams, as well as all other vendors. Her energy and calming presence put myself, my husband, and our entire wedding at ease. All of our phone calls and pre-planning meetings to go over a highly-detailed day-of timeline were so so worth it - and I truly felt I could relax and be present for our day.
I'm so grateful to Alexis and her team for their work on our wedding! Could not say more great things!!! JUST BOOK HER! -

Words can't even begin to express how INCREDIBLE Lexi from AKG Events is!! She is not only the sweetest, but she truly loves her job and will do anything and everything to make sure your wedding day goes by without a hitch. Lexi was there to offer suggestions on other vendors and where to look for save-the-dates. She was a Rockstar when it came to running the rehearsal, and the day of the wedding she busted her a$$ making sure everything was perfect even though it rained.
I had done the majority of the decorations myself and was so worried about getting them set up, but Lexi took care of everything! She and her staff unloaded our cars, unpacked, and decorated while my bridal party and I were able to relax and enjoy our morning getting ready together. All my decorations looked incredible!! I fully trusted her expertise and would often say "just make it look pretty" and she 100% delivered. I'm still getting compliments about our décor and how beautiful it looked. At the end of the night, she packed everything back into our cars, which was the biggest help and allowed us to enjoy being with our guests the entire wedding.
I can't recommend Lexi and AKG Events enough!! Even if you are DIYing most of your wedding, which I did, Lexi will give you the piece of mind on the actual day by taking care of everything. Well worth the investment! We are so happy we got to work with her, and so sad it's over because she was truly incredible! -

Lexi was phenomenal, and we can't recommend her enough! She brings so much poise, professionalism, and vibrant energy to her work, and if we were to go back to do it all again, we would re-hire her without hesitation.
The biggest piece of advice we received from others going into our wedding was to be sure to take multiple moments to step back during the day so that we could take it all in, as the day really flies by. With Lexi, we didn't have to worry about doing such . We had ample time to take photos, enjoy happy hour, eat dinner, crush the dance floor, etc -- all without feeling rushed, and all due to Lexi.
A few quotes from others during our day about Lexi to help sum everything up:
Groomsmen: "Dude, who is your day-of coordinator? She's awesome! I wish we would've had someone similar for our wedding."
Officiant: "Your day-of coordinator sent the most detailed schedule I have ever seen. It was awesome. Does she want to come work for me? Can she *please* come work for me?"
Wife (1 week prior to our wedding after doing a walk-through with Lexi): "I was so nervous and felt like there was so much that we still had to do leading up to our wedding day. After that walk-through, though, I feel incredibly relieved. Lexi has it all taken care of."
The day went off without a hitch, and if there were any hiccups, we had no idea about them. The best part? We remember every moment of the day, because we didn't feel rushed and everything was taken care of.
We highly recommend Lexi. -

There are not enough words in the English language for me to convey how incredible Alexis is! The first time we met with Lexi we knew she had to be our wedding planner. We planned our wedding out of state and she made our dreams come true. Since our wedding, every single person we have talked to has had the same comment "Your wedding planner was amazing!" No matter what curve ball we threw Lexi's way she always handled it with such grace and positivity. We loved working with her and we're currently trying to convenience all of our friends to hire her so she can come down to Houston! She is by far the best money we spent on our wedding. -

Best Kept Secret in Wedding Planning
Our wedding day would not have been possible without Lexi and her team. I hope she's not a secret, but if she is, she is the best kept in Central PA. As a bride, I had never dreamt of what my wedding day would look like, and Lexi helped me from the very beginning figure out and articulate my vision (while also helping me pull together a world-class vendor team). Although we used her "Day of" package, Lexi was a partner to me throughout the entire planning process. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but she never made me feel like I was asking too much or being monitored for her time spent with me. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I had no idea, and I'm not the oblivious type. She worked her magic all day, yet the second I had a question, was present with a smiling face. I would recommend her to, literally, ANYONE, because of her level of professionalism, her care, and the fact she was able to not only help me (and my husband) have the best day ever, but she was able to let my mom relax and enjoy the day as well (which is not an easy feat). As a final note, I had multiple members of my wedding party, who have been involved in the wedding industry before, say they have never seen an event planner as fantastic (and on top of it) as Lexi. You will not go wrong with choosing AKG Events as your go-to wedding coordinator, day-of coordinator and helping with everything you need to know about planning and executing the perfect celebration. Lexi is so personable and you really feel like she's your friend first! Our day ran smoothly because of her knowledge and I know I could not have done it myself! We'd recommend her 1,000 times over! -

Parents of the Bride ~ Perfect wedding
We cannot say enough about AKG Events. Our daughters wedding was absolutely perfect. Our wedding planner , Becca made sure planning , coordination , vendors , dinners , the ceremony , reception … all went more than according to plan. Becca coordinated multiple vendors , relatives from other states , and countries along with last minute additions. My husband and I had the ability to enjoy the entire weekend with our daughter and her husband .. it was the best time ever !!! -

Samantha Sent on 10/03/2018I have known Lexi for many years, she is a wonderful, genuine, caring individual that you will love working with. When it came time for my now husband and I to decide what was really important to us for our wedding day, we both agreed we needed Lexi as our coordinator. We knew we wanted to be able to enjoy our day without having to worry about setting up, if vendors were there on time, making sure everyone was where they needed to be and because of Lexi, we were able to relax and enjoy our day.
I would reccomend AKG Events to anyone getting married, even if you weren’t thinking about having a day of coordinator. I can assure you it will be one of the best decisions you make during your crazy wedding planning process.
She makes everything perfect for you and makes sure your vision is made a reality.
