    Seamless Experience

    We had an unusual experience in that the wedding was disrupted by hurricane Helene September 28. With all the communications down , roads impassable, no power or water-Asheville Event Co ( Caroline Livengood) was able to get everything back on track for a most beautiful wedding 8 months later in Cashiers NC. She is a delight to work with and we highly recommend AEC.
    They do not disappoint!!!

    Life Changing Service

    My experience with Asheville Event Co for my wedding was truly unbeatable. From the attention to detail, to the push with vendors, to the family and interpersonal support, Becca did an unbelievable job. She had an incredible ability to plan, see our vision through, and ensure everyone felt heard and supported throughout the process. The day-of coordination truly made the entire day feel PERFECT and seamless. I have never seen my mom have more fun and be so relaxed! My husband and I still to this day talk about how easy and fun our entire weekend was because of her coordination. Additionally, she navigated some uncomfortable situations with my family and truly made us feel so cared for. We are so grateful for her! Thank you x 1 million and I cannot recommend Asheville Event Co more!!!

    Best event planner ever

    My daughter and I hired Becca to plan and execute her wedding in Cashiers N.C
    Becca was the epitome of professionalism and on top of every detail. She listened to our vision and made it happen. She also became a dear friend. She worked with us for a year, and then the unimaginable happened- A hurricane hit the mountains of North Carolina the week before our wedding. Despite Asheville being hit the hardest, she reached out to us immediately when she could get service. She went far beyond our expectations because we really didn't expect to have a wedding after all, and not only did she show up, but she was amazing! Her company rallied and got the team that could get to us from their homes and never missed a beat! Our guests from Birmingham could not believe that there had ever been a hurricane because we had the most perfect wedding ever! I truly don't know how Becca was standing but she never did anything but lift us up and make the weekend amazing for everyone! After having two Covid weddings, I never had any worries, this one was one for the books. Thank goodness the town of Cashiers was spared and the people there thanked us for coming. I cannot say enough kind words about our experience with Becca and Asheville Events.

    The Best!!

    Choosing Asheville Event Co. for my wedding was the best decision I made when planning out my special day. From the beginning, they were attentive to every detail ensuring that nothing was overlooked. They took the time to understand and expand on my vision.

    On the day of my wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their coordination and proactive problem--solving meant that I could relax and enjoy the day without any worries.

    Caroline and Asheville Event Company

    My daughter was married on April 2, 2022 in Cashiers, NC. It was a destination wedding, and the best decision we made was hiring Caroline from Asheville Event Company to help us coordinate and plan the wedding. Asheville Event Co came highly recommended from friends, and they exceeded all expectations! From recommending and organizing vendors leading up to the wedding, to offering advice and writing wedding day timelines, Caroline paid attention to every detail. She is very professional, and her calm personality is very reassuring. We had a glitch with the event space and had to pivot to using a caterer, and she helped us every step of the way. She took the changes in stride while assuring us that everything was going to work out. She went above and beyond making sure that it did work out perfectly. Most importantly, the wedding day ran so smoothly, and I, the MOB, was able to relax and enjoy myself knowing that Caroline had everything under control! The wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful!

    The Perfect Wedding Made Possible by Asheville Event Co

    We worked with Caroline at AEO on our July 31, 2021 wedding and we are so thrilled that we did.

    We originally set our date for February of 2021, but COVID forced us to move it back. Caroline handled the change with such grace and professionalism and ensured that all of our vendors were rebooked on the new date without any financial impact to us! Caroline made what could have been an extremely stressful process, completely smooth and effortless for us!

    Caroline was there every step of the way, answered all of our questions, provided advice to us and kept us all calm with her gentle, but in charge spirit. We are so grateful and would recommend Caroline and AEO to any bride or groom planning a wedding!

    Dream wedding even during a pandemic

    We really loved working with Caroline @ Asheville Event Co. We started planning our wedding right before the pandemic happened. We honestly couldn't have done this without them. Caroline kept us updated about what was going on locally with restrictions and was so helpful when it came to planning. My husband and I are from Florida and planned on getting married in Asheville 10/10/2020. She is well connected with all the vendors in the area and was able to find out how the vendors would be operating during the pandemic. She also gave us ideas on how to reach out to our guests during the pandemic. We went from having around 120 guest to 50 people max because of the COVID restrictions.

    She helped us secure our vendors and all of the details. She was very organized and pays attention to detail. I was able to relax and have fun the day of my wedding because I knew/trusted Caroline had it all under control. It even rained for part of my wedding and she had umbrellas already on hand just in case we needed them. She planned for the rain and honestly the venue was beautiful. We didn't even notice the rain because the transition from the Reception tent to the Barn was planned out. Nothing was out of place.

    Would highly recommend Becca @ Asheville Event Co!!

    My husband and I would not have been able to pull off our wedding without Becca. Becca was there for us every step of the way – from our original plan to get married in May 2020 with 250+ people, to what ended up being a small intimate gathering with close family and friends in Sept 2020. She helped us navigate every twist and turn in a very tumultuous wedding planning environment and provided necessary guidance on the current landscape. She has a wealth of knowledge based on her extensive network within in the wedding community which proved invaluable. Becca was rock for us when we needed it the most.

    Becca is not only organized, hardworking and flexible, but also has incredible relationships with all of the vendors in the NC mountains, which made planning a breeze. She was able to work with all of the vendors to negotiate new contracts throughout every change of plans. She handled everything with such grace and confidence - we never felt stressed or uneasy because we knew Becca had everything under control!

    On the day of the wedding, Becca was basically like a family member to us. She was calm, kind, and organized – keeping everything going behind the scenes without us even knowing! Our small intimate wedding could not have been more perfect, and we owe it all to Becca. We would highly recommend her services if you are getting married in the NC area. She is a rockstar!

    Beauty out of Covid Chaos

    Anyone who has been involved with a wedding in 2020 understands the chaos that comes from Covid - 19. Becca Knuth, with AEC, joined our family wedding team in 2019 when the original wedding date was May 2020. Trusting Becca's expertise and instincts, we moved the wedding to September 2020. Several iterations of the wedding occurred during those few months: 300 ppl to 75ppl to 30ppl. We truly worked as a team to find what felt right for our family - especially, the bride and groom. Becca was patient, caring and always brought a calm and can-do attitude. So much was out of our control, but we felt in control with Becca on our team! The end result was over the top and better than we could ever have imagined.

    Couldn't have pulled it off without them!

    I had a bit of an unusual experience with planning a covid-wedding but it all went as smoothly as possible because of this team! I worked with Caroline Livengood and she was so incredibly patient, hardworking and flexible with our ever-changing plans. We had to change our date, venue and some of our vendors but Caroline did all of the hard work so we could focus on making our wedding day just the way we wanted. It was such a beautiful day and I couldn't have done it without such an amazing planning team! Thank you!!

    Perfect Choice

    Due to Covid restrictions, my daughter’s large wedding, scheduled for the NC mountains in August 2020, was cancelled and rescheduled for August of 2021. Up until that decision was made, we had been working with Becca at Asheville Event Company, and everything was on track. Becca recommended all of the vendors, from the venue, to the invitations. (My daughter knew the area where she wanted to get married, but we were not familiar with the local vendors.) Her availability, cooperation, and attention to detail were unparalleled.

    The good news is that my daughter and her fiancé went ahead with a small wedding at our home on the SC coast on her original 2020 date. Only immediate family was invited due to Covid, so it was very small. We again hired Becca to help with this small wedding. She was phenomenal. Every detail was thought of, discussed, and implemented. Becca was available the entire weekend to coordinate with all of the vendors (almost all of which were recommended by her). When I first told my friends that we were doing a “small” wedding at home, the first thing they said was, “Be SURE to have a planner.” They were 1000% correct and I could not be happier with how it turned out. Luckily for us, we have the “big” wedding still ahead next year, so we will continue to work with Becca to iron out all of the details for that. I have full confidence in her, and can honestly say I cannot imagine using anyone else. If you are considering Asheville Event Company for your wedding planning, I cannot recommend them, and particularly Becca, enough.

    Wedding SAVED by Caroline of Asheville Event Co!

    My fiancée and I set out with a more aggressive timeline for our wedding in January of 2020 with a planned date of August that year. We were recommended to consult with Caroline of Asheville Event Company and boy are we happy we did.

    We started planning and then COVID-19 hit hard in March. While we continued the planning process we anxiously watched and waited for N.C. legislation to define what the rules were going to be for our August wedding.
    Over the last 2 months of planning, we ended up moving our wedding venue 3 separate times due to the state legislation on wedding sizes and once on the day of due to rain.

    Caroline made sure EVERYONE was where they needed to be and our wedding went off without a hitch. She navigated all our vendors and was a central touchpoint for everyone prior to the event happening. She helped come up with creative solutions and we ended up having two separate beautiful receptions with 25 people each. We started off with our families at the first venue for a few hours and ended with our friends and a younger crowd later on in the evening. We're so grateful for her and her team for making creative solutions a reality!

    It was the most wonderful day and we're so grateful that we got to work with her. If you're planning a wedding do yourself a favor and use Caroline and Asheville Event Co!

    Amazing!! Great!!

    Caroline of Asheville Event Co is amazing!  She responded to all our e-mails very quickly during the planning process.  She is very detail oriented and organized - she had our wedding under control.  We did not have to worry about anything!  Everything during our wedding night ran so smoothly.  Caroline did a great job!!  We highly recommend her and Asheville Event Co!

    Our dream wedding - thanks to Becca and AEC!

    I could fill a novel with praises for Becca and the team at Asheville Event Co. We had a relatively small destination wedding of 60 guests, but we only had six months to plan it. We expected our planner to react in horror at that deadline (most of our guests did!) but Becca told us it was plenty of time, and she had every confidence it would be as amazing as a wedding two years in the making. Becca was more than just a planner - she was a consultant and a therapist! She kept us organized and on track, right up to the day of the wedding. If I had a dollar every time I said "Thank God for Becca," our wedding would've been free! :P Her calm and her confidence made a huge difference, especially on the wedding day, and ESPECIALLY since it rained! So I can't recommend AEC enough, and we couldn't have done it without them!

    Made our day perfect

    I cannot say enough about Caroline from Asheville Event Co. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. She was there throughout the entire planning process and calmed my freak outs here and there! She has so much expertise and never steered me wrong! The day of the wedding, she was an absolute lifesaver. She made everything run so smoothly, which helped me to stay calm and actually enjoy the day! Caroline I can't thank you enough!

    The best choice we made for our wedding!

    We loved working with Caroline and Asheville Event Co. Our wedding was beyond what we ever expected, and it was all thanks to Caroline and her attention to detail.     Becca is the best!

    I was really busy between when we got engaged and our wedding, and I knew I needed people whose work I loved and who would understand what we were going for so that I could be really hands off. Becca was absolutely that person. She shared our excitement and love for Spain and didn’t at all make me feel like I needed to stick to any traditional expectations but allowed us to focus on making a really fun food-focused celebration! She completely embraced the aspects that we cared about and made sure to be our advocate to making those things happen, like customizing our wine list for the food as one of many examples! We were excited to pair wines from different regions of Spain with the delicious menu that Celine and Co had come up with, and Becca was the reason all of that was possible and worked with the venue to make it happen. For much of the other aspects of the wedding, like linens, schedule, layout, etc, I could completely rely on Becca to make fantastic decisions with us in mind. She took our ideas and expanded on them and came up with other things I would have never thought of that made our wedding very memorable: cava and melon wrapped in jamon Serrano given to guests upon arrival, my Abuela’s book of Spanish architecture as a guest book, and churros for a late night snack. I have only ever worked with one, but I’m pretty certain Becca is not your average wedding planner. Above that we had so much fun working and planning with her in the process and became good friends.

    Dream Come True - Becca Knuth

    We used Asheville Event Co. for our summer wedding in Laguna Beach, CA. Our wedding planner, Becca Knuth went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations. She is extremely organized, making sure we completed tasks well before deadlines. She is always one step ahead, thinking of little details we could never dream of. She's very personable, and helped manage relationships w/ the venue, vendors and family members. She made our wedding day a dream come true, and we couldn't have done any of this without her (see picture). We will be forever grateful, and cannot recommend Becca Knuth & Asheville Event Co more.

    Absolutely wonderful!

    For the person out there searching for the perfect wedding planner- you have found her! My daughter decided to have her wedding in the Asheville area and based on reviews she read online she contacted Becca Knuth. My daughter's wedding was different from a standard wedding, and Becca was able to see my daughter's vision and deliver an even better wedding than we had envisioned. Becca started by giving us options on the wedding venue, finding places we could not have found on our own. She found the perfect spot for us in the mountains north of Asheville, with incredible views and a beautiful newly built building. Having good food at the wedding was a top priority for us. Our family has Spanish roots and my daughter wanted to serve interesting/delicious Spanish food with a North Carolina twist. Becca found the perfect caterer who totally got our vibes. The caterer incorporated our personal Spanish pottery (which Becca stored and delivered to the site) with her North Carolina items and made it unique and special- also serving incredible food. Everyone said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! Becca also found the perfect florist for us. Totally beautiful and different. And she helped us find the best photographer, baker, band, event rental company, transportation, and the list goes on.....
    Becca was very professional and efficient. She kept us on tract with a worksheet and reminded us of deadlines in a nice way. She kept a running tally of costs which was very helpful for budgeting. She made sure that we were charged fairly by vendors. Becca made it possible for us to get the wedding organized so that by the big day everything was taken care of. She also handled of all the last minute items that happen on the day of the wedding so our family could relax and enjoy ourselves. I would obviously highly recommend Becca. She is a really nice, fun person who you will enjoy spending time with during a very special time in your family's life!

    Caroline is Incredible!!

    We hired Caroline with Asheville Event Co and she was absolutely incredible! Not only did she help me plan every large/medium/small detail of the wedding, but was also extremely patient and so easy to work with.

    It’s pretty great to have someone help you to turn your dream into a reality, and Caroline did just that. The evening really did feel like a dream come true!

    She also came up with a seamless last minute rain plan (and made me feel incredibly calm along the way!)

    I could not recommend Caroline more. She is not only an amazing planner, but an amazing, kind and conscientious person who will take care of you all along the way!

    I couldn't imagine my wedding day without Cortney Jackson and Asheville Event Co.

    Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had Cortney Jackson with me on my wedding day and throughout the wedding planning process. Cortney was patient, referred me to all of the vendors we used, keep me on budget, encouraged my vision, and was so much fun to work with. I was planning the wedding long distance and Cortney was excellent about keeping in touch and being available to meet when we could make it into town to do some planning. On our wedding day, I knew she had everything under control and things went off without a hitch. Having the peace of mind that Cortney was able to take care of everything was absolutely priceless.     Great Experience!

    As our planner and day of coordinator, we used Becca from Asheville Event Co. for our wedding last December. From the very early stages of the planning process, Becca was invaluable in keeping us on track and giving us peace of mind. We were so appreciative of her guidance on vendor contracts, timelines, budget management, and all the intricate details (even stylistically). The checklist of items that we reviewed on a consistent basis during the planning process made us realize just how critical she was in planning the wedding of our dreams. Becca has a large network of trusted vendors that she was able to recommend which allowed for the vendor sourcing process to be simpler and more comfortable.     Amazing experience!

    Becca did such an amazing job for our wedding! My wife and I were so impressed by every aspect of her services, from finding the vendors to keeping everything organized to giving us recommendations. She was incredible leading up to the event and feels like a part of our family now! She made our wedding flawless and gave us such a wonderful experience. Our wedding was stress-free because of how good of a job she did, and we can't recommend her highly enough!

    Could not have done this without Asheville Event & Cortney!

    The reception venue for our daughter’s wedding required that we hire a professional event planner and recommended Asheville Event Company. Becca, the owner of Asheville Event Company, helped me determine what level of assistance we needed and connected us with one of her planners, Cortney Jackson. I cannot say enough good things about Cortney, her professionalism, organizational abilities and fabulous personality. Cortney helped guide us through the maze of vendors that had to be chosen and reserved ASAP, arranged meetings with various vendors and took care of all the minutiae that is part of planning and orchestrating a wedding over the course of eleven months. As an experienced planner, her ideas (whether creative or logistical) were outstanding. Cortney’s calm demeanor, sweet excitement, and unassuming approach through every interaction were the reassurance we needed during the process to feel confident about the final product - that everything would go well! - all the way through the wedding day. Without her, the whole wedding weekend (destination wedding) would not have been the awesome, beautiful celebration that it was!

    AEC and Caroline are A+ in all categories

    We used AEC and Caroline for our "day of planning" of our Rehearsal Dinner. Even though I had already contracted with the vendors, it was so helpful to have Caroline oversee and coordinate the final details and make sure that all came together for the Rehearsal. I hired AEC to help the month before and her local knowledge and organization skills were key to the Rehearsal going so smoothly and definitely made my wedding week so much more relaxing. A few important things I couldn't have managed at the last minute were the logistics of transportation and buses, and insuring that the venue was perfectly set up with flowers, linens and escort cards while we Rehearsed. She coordinated all of the vendors to deliver their products and I did not need to be there. I would highly recommend Caroline and AEC. She is delightful, low key and very organized and efficient.

    Words cannot describe how fantastic my daughter wedding was. As the mother of the bride, I was amazed and happy to see how this company put it all together. They entire staff was fantastic. Melissa was our planner and I literally did not have to do anything. She was on top of it all. We had a perfect wedding at the Diana Venue at the Biltmore Estates. Best wedding planner ever.     What a team! We reached out to Becca and her team only 3 months before our big day (we wanted a quick engagement!). She and her team were amazingly responsive and understood what we expected for our wedding. On top of that, she helped us plan the event at my grandmother's house, which was not incredibly conducive to a reception. I’m so happy and thrilled Asheville Event Co. was able to pull off our wedding in such short time, and with such attention to detail. It was spectacular. We were definitely a high maintenance couple/family to deal with, but Becca displayed only patience and flexibility while working with us. We could not have asked for a more magical day and Asheville Event Co. is to thank!

    Asheville Event Co brought my dream wedding to reality! As a destination bride having someone local in the area was critical. Becca knew all the ins and outs of my venue as well as the best vendors. Becca was extremely responsive and kept me on track, inspired and more importantly calm. I had a unique goal of incorporating rose gold into my decor and Becca searched long and hard to find all the right rose gold touches. Sarah was in the bridal room with my on wedding day and was the most calming and reassuring person! The whole team is experienced, considerate and friendly. I had not a worry in the world about planning a 150 person destination wedding because I knew Asheville Event Co was on top of everything!

    Planning a wedding is HARD. I was already feeling stressed to the max when I met with Caroline for the first time. But after our meeting, I felt a wave of reassurance that everything would be perfect in the end. Can you plan a wedding on your own? Of course you can. Was it worth every penny to have Caroline on my team? ABSOLUTELY! From answering all of my totally random questions, to making a timeline for the day, making sure all of the vendors were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there and doing what they were supposed to be doing. Helping to setup our venue space, and picking up afterwards. I could go on and on for days with just how much she helped us throughout this entire process. In the end, I don't think I could have done it without her. Every detail was perfect, and without Caroline to oversee everything, I would have stressed the entire day and not been able to enjoy my day to the fullest. I would hire Caroline and AECo over and over again. Thank you for making sure our day was everything we wanted it to be and more!

    Best decision we made for our wedding (besides deciding to get married, ha). We worked with Liz and she was the best. We had the 90 day package, and she went above and beyond well before that. She was helpful, organized, friendly, fun, and gave great advice. I grew up in Asheville, but have moved away. While my parents are still there, I didn't want them worrying about all the little details. It was so nice to have a professional in the area to help with the details. We came into town the week before the wedding, and apart from a few (and I mean few) minor details to take care of, there was nothing else to do besides walk down the aisle. Liz had everything taken care of, and that was so nice. We spent that week with friends and family, and I will forever be grateful for that. If you want organized, fun, friendly, and professional, Liz is your woman!

    How fortunate we were to have Becca Knuth at Asheville Event Company as our daughter’s wedding coordinator. Becca was exceptional and attentive to every detail from planning, negotiating with vendors, managing contracts and budget. She planned our meetings with the venue, chef, florists, baker, hair and makeup artist. All the meetings were so helpful for our daughter to make final decisions. Everyone was so nice and patient, especially Becca. At that point, our daughter became so excited about her wedding. Becca made her dreams come true!

    Becca is so professional and a true expert in her field. She is excellent with communication and prompt with email and phone.     Get a broad idea of a time line and budget... Look in depth at all the moving parts... Music-- for ceremony and reception, Florals, venue, food( including coordination of guests' allergies, etc.), transportation(including wedding party, family members, exit transportation etc...), printed materials, (appropriate save the dates, wedding invitations, guest place cards, ) rehearsal dinner matters,, possible brunch the day after, hotel blocks and reservations, distribution of all pertinent and timely and ORGANIZED information to wedding party, bridesmaids and groomsmen, family members, vendors, etc..REDISTRIBUTION of changed information as things evolve ... And you will see the value of having one representative organize it all.... So that you can have more of a 'stress free event.'

    Liz was our day of coordinator and an absolutely fabulous one at that. From the minute we had our first meeting, we were in sync with one another. Since I am a detail oriented individual, I was nervous about finding a 'day of' that was on the same page. Liz, exceeded all of my expectations and nailed every subtle nuance that we pictured for our wedding. She is kind, patient, creative and mindful of the needs of not only the Bride and Groom, but everyone present.     We worked with Cortney remotely to plan our wedding at Lonesome Valley in North Carolina from our home in Columbus, Ohio & I can't recommend her or AEC enough :) She was an unbelievable resource in so many ways, lending advice, support, amazing ideas, and making the planning process (for someone who is not much of a planner) enjoyable :) The weekend of our big day was when she & her team shone brightest. They took care of absolutely everything, and our wedding weekend was truly perfect & exceeded our expectations.     Hands down best decision I made was to work with Becca Knuth at Asheville Event Co. on our destination wedding in Asheville. From the moment I spoke with Becca while interviewing several wedding planners, she impressed with her knowledge, her honesty and directness, and her professionalism. Becca was prompt in all her communications, both email and phone. She helped me keep sane by narrowing down vendor choices to 3-5 for us to choose from, worked hard to negotiate with vendors to keep within our budget, and added such wonderful design and personal touches to our wedding (apples for guests to take at the end of the night, birdcage for cards, etc). Becca handled the high stress level of my mother with such thoughtfulness and care -- I literally can't thank her enough! Becca is so organized, wonderful to work with, and just a lovely person. We were so lucky to work with her!

    We are not local, and Becca planned our backyard wedding up in the hills of East Asheville and she was spectacular. In addition to being super nice and very responsive to the (many, many, many) emails that we sent her, she put on an amazing wedding for us while being mindful of our budget. She was super friendly and flexible, she found us amazing vendors even when we weren't even sure what we wanted, and did multiple site visits to make sure the property could be used for a wedding. And she was so much fun! Becca is incredibly friendly, organized, and best of all completely relaxed on the day of. We had a few minor mishaps, and she handled them calmly. I've been at some weddings where the planner is harried or even snaps at guests, and this will not happen with Asheville Event Co. They put on a beautiful wedding for us, and even ordered a surprise gift to be left in our hotel room for after! I am so happy that we chose to work with Becca, as she truly made our wedding special. They also went above and beyond several times by providing us with random things we needed, allowing us to ship tons of (heavy!) packages to them for use in the wedding, and returning the kegs for us after the wedding was over. We had an amazing experience with Becca, and I truly think we got a better experience than many other planners offered for a much more reasonable cost. Becca was more than worth it, and she's so nice! You will not regret hiring Asheville Event Co.

    Becca was recommended to us by the events staff at our venue, Lonesome Valley, in Cashiers, NC. After speaking with her just once, I stopped calling to consult with other planners and I'm so happy that I did. She turned my vision for an intimate ceremony and elegant reception into a reality, and even though I'd been involved in every decision along the way, it felt like a dream come true when it all came together. Every last detail, and there were a lot of them, was perfectly in place. We owe the flawless execution on the night of the wedding to Becca, and she ran the show without ever being noticed by our guests. Yet somehow, anytime we needed something, she was magically by our side to help. We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding because Becca took care of everything. Most importantly for me, Becca was a wonderful partner during the entire planning process. As a bride planning an out-of-state wedding, she made the experience enjoyable rather than stressful. She encouraged my vision and ideas from the beginning, she connected me with outstanding vendors in the area, and was always accessible and responsive.     Oh my goodness, I have to tell you that Becca Knuth of Asheville Event Co. was the most wonderful wedding planner ever!! She was absolutely incredible to work with in every way. I say she was part therapist/part wedding planner. She was able to work with all the different personalities of the families just beautifully - offering great advice and ideas to everyone.

    Not only is Becca creative, but she is a master of logistics. Every detail of my daughter's wedding was perfect. Becca thought of everything!!! We had a January wedding in the wintery mountains of Highlands, NC which was a challenge to say the least. We could never have pulled off such a fantastic wedding without Becca. My husband said it was the best money we ever spent!!

    From start to finish, the year I spent with Becca planning my wedding was fantastic. Becca immediately put me at ease during our first conversation and we had so much fun together throughout the year of planning. Along the way she helped recommend vendors she felt would best fit my budget/style of the wedding, helped me form my overall vision for the wedding, and dealt with all the nitty gritty details so I didn't have to.

    Becca not only met expectations, but went above and beyond to give me and my now husband our dream wedding. She helped keep me organized (and on budget) throughout the planning process and made it so we had absolutely nothing to do the day of except enjoy the fabulous day with our friends and family. Even my dad, who initially thought the extra expense wasn't needed agreed Becca and team were worth every penny.

    I called Asheville Event Company early in the planning process and mentioned that we were interested in looking at a couple venues in the Asheville area. They immediately understood that we were looking for a place with a lovely view and suggested we look at Claxton Farm. It was exactly what we we had in mind and where we decided to celebrate our wedding. We worked with Liz, of Asheville Event Company, who went above and beyond on countless occasions. She was fun, well organized, responsive to all communications, and kept track of all of the details to guide me through the wedding planning process.     The AEC team is by far the best in the business!! I had the privilege of having both Becca and Melissa as my planners, and they were both phenomenal to work with. They are professional, reliable, trustworthy, organized, hard-working and FUN! From vendor recommendations to budgets and timelines, I don't know where we would be without them. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, I hope this makes your decision a little easier...no matter where in the world you want to get married, and especially if you are in Western NC, don't hesitate, hire AEC!!

    We used Becca Knuth and from the start she was the best investment we made. I am the father of the bride and she made my life, my wife's and my daughters lives as easy as possible. She always was there making the right recommendation and provided great advice. A true professional with lots of experience. The wedding was perfect from start to finish. I can't tell you how many of our guest said it was the best run wedding they had ever been to! I would highly recommend using her.

    We worked with Cortney for our wedding and I truly don't have enough wonderful things to say about her! She is wonderful, caring, professional, hard working and so much fun. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special and made the planning process so easy. We especially wanted someone who was very knowledgeable of vendors in the area since we are not from Asheville. She did a wonderful job listening to what we wanted for our big day and recommended only vendors who matched with our vision. The day of our wedding went so smoothly (as far as we knew) and anything that wasn't quite right, was fixed almost instantly.

    I am so grateful for everything that Cortney did for us. She handled all of our questions and concerns and made sure that we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. Danny and I, along with our family and friends had the most fun and memorable weekend. Cortney became so much more than a wedding planner, she became a friend and I highly, highly recommend her and AEC's services!

    Becca Knuth was so amazing to work with. From start to finish. She was thorough, experienced and so much fun! I think we (as in my mother and I) enjoyed working with her SO much we made the extra effort to visit Asheville more than probably was even necessary throughout the past year!!     Liz had all the requirements - professional, knowledgeable, and hard working - but what I truly appreciated was how personable she was! It's so easy to get stressed out while planning a wedding, so it was great that our meetings could be both productive and FUN!

    I'm forever grateful to Liz for everything she did to give us the wedding weekend of our dreams. I was the type to get overwhelmed by all the decision making, so I loved that she understood our vision and was able to streamline all of our ideas to make the decisions more manageable. She worked tirelessly to deliver everything we asked for, listened to all of our million questions & concerns, and supported us throughout the whole process. It was truly thrilling to see her work her magic!

    My fiance and I knew with planning a destination wedding in Asheville that having a planner would be important to the process. Little did we know just how vital this vendor would be. From the first conversation on the phone with Becca, I instantly felt at ease, particularly because her company had tons of experience with our chosen venue/caterer. The planning process was a breeze with her at the reigns. When one of our transportation vendors went under midway through our engagement, Becca swooped in and saved the day. For most couples, this would have been a HUGE stress point, but luckily we had Becca and we experienced ZERO stress.

    The weekend of the wedding was when AEC's presence was truly felt. There were tons of planned logistics behind our wedding and Becca & Liz handled it all. To name a few, of many, tasks they also handled: they sewed a split seam on a bridesmaid's dress, they fixed a groomsmen's boutonniere, they got the groom allergy medicine (and this was all of the UNPLANNED stuff that just popped up).

    They worked behind the scenes tirelessly, allowing us, our families and friends to all actually be guests at the wedding! From the ceremony rehearsal all the way through our grand exit on Saturday evening, the time absolutely flew by. If we had not had Becca & Liz there, I'm certain we would not have been able to enjoy each fleeting moment as much as we did. It was the best day of our lives and a lot of that credit should go to Becca and Asheville Event Company! Book them. You'll regret it if you don't.

    We worked with Cortney at Asheville Event Company for our wedding, and she was absolutely amazing! I knew I wanted a coordinator for day-of so that my wife and I wouldn't have to worry about all of the details. What I didn't know was how amazing it would be to A) work with Cortney and B) know I could trust all of the coordination to her. I'm a project manager, and a bit of an overplanner, so it was important to me that things went smoothly. But Cortney was superb. From the moment she started working with us, she listened to what we wanted to do (which was a little different than normal since it included a trolley travelling around Asheville for wedding photos) and helped us make everything happen on time. No one wants to be stressed out on their wedding day, and there may be some things that will stress you out anyway, but if you work with Cortney and Asheville Event Company, day of coordination definitely won't be one of them!

    The smartest thing I did after I got engaged was call Becca with Asheville Event Co. I am not very "bride like" and did not have any idea of what I wanted for my wedding. Becca and Sara saved me! And by saved me, I mean they did everything from recommending vendors, coming up with a decor/design scheme for the ceremony and reception, and helping me with gift bag ideas. They also did a million other things that I am sure I have no idea about! If it had not been for Asheville Event Co., I would have eloped! Or at least ended up with a poorly planned wedding that I forgot to order flowers for.

    To quote my now husband "I already miss Becca and the wedding was only 2 days ago. When can we call her?" Needless to say, we were both very happy with service we received and are so glad we thought to call Asheville Event Co. so early on in our planning process. If you are looking for a wedding planner that actually cares about you and the quality of your wedding, Becca is the best :)

    Missy is AMAZING! She really blew us away... she is patient and funny and creative and cool and has great energy. She helped us stay organized and make decisions- she offered many great ideas and vendors, and she always made the planning process fun. Not to mention... our weekend weekend was perfect because of her attention to detail and seamless execution. We love Missy, and we're so grateful for her incredible service!

    Becca was the BEST! She was quick to respond to any and all of my questions with intelligent answers that calmed and comforted me, whatever the case happened to be. Becca helped my daughter plan a destination wedding, and things proceeded flawlessly. She advised and coordinated everything about the wedding from start to finish flawlessly.     My wedding was on December 21st at The Venue in Asheville, North Carolina. Becca Knuth was my planner. I can honestly say Becca made the whole planning process so enjoyable and free of stress! I enjoyed every moment of planning for the big day. Becca pretty much did everything for us. She helped us find a wonderful venue, florist, someone to make our cake, videographer, style of the invitations, she knew the style I was looking for and helped make the rehearsal dinner and wedding absolutely phenomenal, and the best part about her...she's so fun to be around! I had the best day of my life on my wedding day because I knew she was in control and I could trust her. When I walked into the reception for the first time ...the flowers and decor literally took my breath away. It was more beautiful than I ever dreamed it would be. Becca is an amazing planner and I can tell she loves what she does which makes all the difference in the world when looking for someone to help plan for one of the most important days of your life. The weddings she puts together are always beautiful and exactly what the bride and groom want. I recommend Becca to anyone planning a wedding...she will not let you down!

    Cortney Jackson with AEC could not have been more warm and kind to work with. She was a real champion for the Groom and I.     If you are having your wedding in Asheville (or anywhere in the Carolinas they are willing to travel) Asheville Event Co. is a must! I interviewed several big event planners in the area and Missie Porter won me over hands down. She went far and beyond helping us to prepare for the big weekend and I absolutely could not have done that without her. Not only was she wonderful about handling everything, she had this way of making me feel so calm about all of the to dos leading up to the wedding. She even won over my Dad who did not understand the need for a wedding planner- now he knows the weekend only worked out so well because of all the time and energy she put into making it run smoothly. Another great thing is that they have wonderful relationships with all of the best vendors in the area. Later in the wedding planning process, Missie took over our rehearsal dinner, which was an overwhelming event because of the location, and made it perfect! Thank you Missie and Asheville Event Co.!!

    Becca was absolutely the best person to help us with our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. She is has the amazing combination of being one of the most organized people that I know while being one of the most layed-back. It is indeed the most perfect combination. While we did much of the planning ourselves, there was nothing that she didn't consider in the process. Every thought or word we uttered was carefully heard and carried out. Her assistant Caroline helped us as well before, during and following the ceremony as well as at the reception, and she was wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of the planning as well as the wedding itself thanks to the way that everything was handled so beautifully! All of us LOVE Asheville Event Company!!!

    We got married in Highlands, NC and had Becca with Asheville Event Co. was our day of planner. She was referred to us by several people in Highlands, which is always a good sign, and I'm pretty sure we couldn't have found anyone more perfect for us!

    I was a very hands-on bride since I'm a designer. I handled a huge amount of the wedding design and planning myself, and this probably would have stressed out most planners (so many seem to need to be in charge). I'm also VERY picky and made most of the vendor selections myself, but Becca always had a great vendor list to offer anytime I didn't know where to go.

    But what was really nice is that she never once questioned my decisions. She was the most perfect guide to helping me create the most magical wedding ever. She kept me on track and was always easy to reach. She's very patient and doesn't appear to get nervous, but most importantly, she's just a nice person to deal with (very key when considering that these planners have to deal with all sorts of personalities within the families along with all the wedding vendors).

    But with all that, what impressed me most about Becca were the things I didn't even notice at the wedding but that occurred to me after the fact. She really listened to me. She took care of issues before I even knew they were there. She made it so that the rest of us were able to just relax, have fun and really enjoy the night. She was always there when I needed her, but she was still behind the scenes (not one of those wedding planners who is in all the pictures standing right beside the bride and groom).

    Our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as perfect without Becca, and I'm just so happy everything worked out the way it did. I would recommend anyone to her. (Thanks, Becca!!)

    Hiring Melissa with AEC was one of the single best things I did in planning our destination wedding! She was amazing! Professional, helpful, had great ideas, was always there when needed on numerous trips to Asheville and returned every phone call or email promptly. I could never have pulled such a fabulous event off without her assistance, in fact it would never have been as fabulous if she hadn't been involved!     I'm a DIY kind of girl, but I didn't know the first thing about the actual logistics involved in wedding planning until we started working with Becca and the Asheville Event Co. From our very first meeting, Becca patiently listened to all of our ideas, no matter how bizarre, and worked within our budget to make each of them a reality. She let our vision guide the process but was always up front about her own ideas and past experiences. Especially helpful was her ability to bring us back to the big picture without letting any details fall between the cracks. And on the actual wedding day, Becca was the calm presence that arrived before us, helped everything flow smoothly throughout the day, and stayed after us.     melissa knew about all the available resources in the area. she supported my unconventional ideas and my traditional ones. she also contributed amazing ideas of her own. i absolutely could not have orchestrated this event without her guidance.

    this was by far the best money spent out of my wedding budget. it was worth every penny . . . and more!! thank you so much, AEC!!

    If it weren’t for Melissa and Becca, I truly think we would have had to postpone our wedding. Instead it was fate, with Asheville Event Co. calling and emailing me in January! They took our vision that I could never put together and made it a reality. They really have a great attention to detail, from hand making our paper cones, stuffing and mailing invitations, to keeping us on schedule the big day. They kept us stress free the whole weekend, relaxing me when I started to stress out. They negotiated with the rehearsal dinner venue which enabled us to have the best dinner for our family and friends and they had so much fun that night! And of course I’ve had so many guests comment on how the wedding and reception were the most beautiful and elegant they have ever been to! Thanks for putting up with me during my stressful time and when I wasn’t on the phone, you guided me along the right path and made sure we were keeping up with your responsibilities.     Becca and Melissa were amazing...they helped us pick the perfect vendors for our wedding and eliminated so much stress from the planning process. In the beginning, we didn't want to hire a planning service, but after the first few weeks on our own, we realized that it was too much to coordinate without help. We didn't have a large budget, so we weren't sure we could afford it...but in the end, they saved us more money than they cost...they were able to negotiate prices that we could not get on our own...

    They saved us a ton of time in the vendor selection process as well. After our initial meeting with Becca, she was able to narrow a list of vendors down to the ones that fit our style and were within our budget (rather than interviewing 10 vendors only to find out that we could really only afford one). She was there to help us negotiate and find ways to make our vision come to life.

    Our day was great...everyone commented on how amazing all of our vendors were and how the day went so smoothly...I know it wouldn’t have been possible without Becca and Melissa. We miss working with you guys already!

    Missie and Sarah were a complete team and a class act. The connections they have with other vendors is amazing, true, and apparent. They put together , perfectly ,everything I wanted in my wedding. Missie is a complete doll, loves what she does and is great at it. I was blessed with Missie and AEC as my teammates. They were easy to communicate with, always available to chat, and just controlled everything with class, professionalism, and skill. I am so grateful for her!

    Melissa was beyond amazing. She was always on top of things especially the week of. On my wedding day all I had to do was turn around and there she would be. Anyone that is debating on getting a wedding planner for some part of the wedding...DONT...get Melissa! My new husband tells everyone it was the best investment he ever made and he is so glad that I pushed him for it. You do not want to worry about anything on your day and she is there to make that possible. She became more than a wedding planner to me, she became a good friend. Thank you for making my day unbelievable!! XOXO

    Jonathan and I are very grateful to have worked with Asheville Event Co. and Cortney to plan our rehearsal dinner and wedding in Cashiers, North Carolina. We looked for a planner who sincerely appreciated our vision for an intimate and personal wedding weekend, and from the initial conversation, we knew Cortney completely got it! She was incredibly thoughtful and intuitive, and we couldn’t have been more confident in her ability to execute a weekend that was elegant, yet fun and detailed with personal touches at every step.     Caroline and Courtney were essential given that we lived out of town. They were on top of things and no detail had to be mentioned to them more than once to get it taken care of. Very professional and friendly. Asheville Event Company seemed well known and well-respected among the other vendors we worked with.
